I stayed here one night to get an early Heathrow Express train from Paddington station. My Cozy Double Room was small but was perfectly fine for a short stay as a solo traveler - there was sufficient space for my two carry-on sized luggage. Room was clean and features are all very modern and well designed. The only small issues I had are that I couldn't figure out how to turn on the bathroom extractor/fan and the shower leaked a little bit of water that reached the carpet. All staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful - they accommodated an early check-in and printed some documents I needed for my onward travel. This is basic accommodation done right and I would gladly stay here again.

This hotel sits in what I would call Hotel Row - essentially converted rowhouses but don't let that distract you. This hotel has been updated and was very clean. Surprisingly for being in a city, it was also very quiet. Great location to public transport with many restaurants and shops nearby. Highly recommend!

Ideal small hotel close to Paddington. It’s a premium best western hotel. About 5 minutes walk from the station. It has good room facilities. However rooms are small and beds are average.

A good hotel - we were happy with our two nights here. We had an executive double room which was "small but perfectly formed", very clean, had everything we needed but for the price the room was inevitably small. Breakfast was good too, lots to choose from and you could order pancakes if you wanted. Staff were charming and helpful, and a good location being only a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station. Only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 was size of room but there's not much that can be done about that! Would stay again.

I travel often & needed to be near Paddington for onward travel, so chose Best Western Delmere for 3 nights, after checking several hotels & reading reviews. I opted for a small single room & that is what I got, so no disappointment there. London hotel rooms generally are small. I think that the space was well utilised, including a shelf in the shower for toiletries. The room looked well maintained & clean. There is the added bonus of a small lift in the hotel, so I didn't have to haul luggage up several flights of stairs. The reception staff were all very pleasant & efficient. The only complaints I have are the lack of sound-proofing in the building, so I could hear other guests above, below and either side of me & fire doors closing in various places. No outside noise, though. My other problem was the uncomfortable pillows. They had no bounce to them, so one was rock hard & the other collapsed into a heap when I used it to lean against & it didn't spring back. Unfortunately, these 2 complaints prevented me from getting good quality sleep. If it hadn't been for this, it would have been an excellent stay.

Clean, comfortable, well maintained, with updated design elements. Room was perfect size for a good nights rest. Had everything I needed for my stay, including a back-lit bathroom mirror and magnifying make up mirror, tea/coffee tray, even a small refrigerator. Perfect location, walking (even with luggage) distance from Paddington Station, great for travel to and from Heathrow. Walking distance from pubs and restaurants/cafes. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice cozy hotel at the periphery of Greater London that is within walking distance from Paddington underground station. The hotel is part of old apartments that have been renovated into a series of hotels. The double room though cozy and nicely renovated is rather small and just fit for two. It would be ideal for couples with light luggage and for short stay.

This hotel is awesome nice modern style. Hotel employees are great and helpful. The continental breakfast is awesome as simple, all are so fresh foods I ate breakfast daily during stay 9 days. The room looks so very nice as modern and good things it have modern A/C to keep cooling as comfort. We were glad pick the right hotel with reasonable good price and good amenities included mini fridge for our drinks compare to other too expensive hotels. It is very convenience location nearby to Paddington underground tube subway to anywhere also easy to get Hearthrow Express train to airport. Great!!

What a super hotel. Very modern, welcoming staff, super clean and tidy rooms with everything you could need provided, there is also a lift for guests with luggage or unable to use stairs. The room was climate controlled which was fabulous, the free wifi was good and fast, the bed linen was white and crisp and the bed ooooh so comfortable. We stayed on the lower ground floor but found this to be no problem at all, we didn't feel like we were in a dungeon, there was a window, and to be honest we were only there to sleep anyway. The entire hotel is thoroughly modern inside with touch sensors, room has mood lighting. Only a few minutes walk from Paddington, and a few minutes from Hyde Park (we were there for the Proms) so very conveniently located. We really did have a wonderful and faultless stay and would recommend it to anyone, we would certainly stay again.

What a lovely little hotel. Yes the rooms are a little small but they are very comfortable, the rooms are fully equipped with everything you'd need - climate control, BBC iPlayer, the capability to stream from your phone to the TV etc. The staff are lovely and the breakfast (£9) varied and tasty. And, for London, I think the price is very reasonable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel near Paddington. This was my first time, and I received an excellent rate. My courtyard room was recently renovated and was very high tech. Sylvia on the front desk was super-friendly, and I very much liked the atmosphere of the place. The only slight flaw was that there were low level "machine noises" - a sort of humming or electrical sound in the room from nearby equipment. It was there, but I slept well anyway. I will definitely be staying there again.

We randomly picked this hotel at very short notice and got a bargain considering the price we paid. This hotel is very decent with an en suite shower and toilet, free WiFi, clean towels, clean bedding, hairdryer, well-stocked tea area, 40 inch tv, air conditioning and various light settings to fit the mood. The whole room was clean, tidy, modern and well maintained. The customer service was excellent and professional and they were even able to let me use a charger for a refundable deposit. The only negatives were that they didn't offer a free breakfast and the bar is just two stools by the reception desk. Apart from that, it was a great stay. This is the way hotels should be!

It may be because my expectations for London hotels was so low based on my previous experience at the Hilton Olympia, but my stay hear was amazing. First, proximity to Paddington Station is great. Less than a 5 min walk makes it easy when you get off the Heathrow Express after a 9 hour flight. Staff are welcoming and helpful. I really like the availability of water and coffee in the lobby area. I took full advantage every time I walked back into the hotel. Room is small, but that is to be expected in London. It's clean and just has a lot of well thought out conveniences. Plenty of USB ports to charge phones, a mirror that doesn't fog up where your face will be after you shower, just the little things that I appreciated. It's not often that I reflect back on a hotel, but this was a great stay. So long as the price remains relatively consistent, this will be my go-to for all future trips to London.

Had booked a twin room for one night. Compact room but very good design. Everything was in there and modern gadgets as well. Small bathroom but lovely rainshower and good towels. Again details such as the large rainshower, extra handshower if you want to keep your hair dry(us women like that sometimes 😉) and a heated mirror staying dry when showering, so no fog on the mirror. Room had an extra door keeping noise from the hallway out and it was quiet at night. Had a good nights sleep. The small lounge with comp tea and coffee is a nice friendly service. The staff were very friendly and helpfull as well. We were early and wanted to leave the bags to go into town. But they made the room ready for us which was very thoughtfull. Thanks and i will be back.

I can only speak to the room itself since I didn't use any other amenities. My single room was small but I liked it because it was a very efficient use of space. They had touch pad controls on the wall and one next to the bed that basically controlled the whole room. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful friendly and professional.

excellent location walking distance to paddingston station. the staff are friendly and helpful, we were allowed to check in our baggage before time. they recieved our express gift for us and allowed us to leave our present for a friend for pick up.we will stay in this hotel on our next visit.

A close family friend is staying there, we were invited inside, here room is very nice and has been refurbished recently. The rooms are very Hi Tech with a big smart tv , even in the singles. Very fancy intelligent LED lighting options in the room too. The only staff member we met was the night porter who was very polite and informative.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, last Saturday night. We have stayed here before and I have regularly used it when on business. The rooms are very modern yet retain the traditional character of the building. Being an older building the rooms are compact but they are very well fitted-out, very comfortable and maximise the use of the space. It is very well placed near Paddington station. Yenny, the hotel manager, was very welcoming and recognized me straight away. She went out of her way to get our room ready early so that we could check-in. A Continental Breakfast is served in the morning with a good range of items nicely presented. Some hot items are available (e.g. boiled eggs, and porridge). The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are plenty to choose from locally.

This hotel has been remodeled, in fact there was a bit of construction going on during my stay, which is NOT a complaint. Very clean and dapper rooms, digitally controlled lights/ac. Also has built in USB plug-ins for those of us from the States. Good size led TV. Bathrooms are beautiful. Staff was very kind and helpful with directions and recommendations for things to do. Minute walk to Paddington Station. Will stay here again.

Some of the rooms are very small so if you are a large person be sure to ask. I'm a small person but even I had trouble is a cozy twin on the first floor. Had to step into the shower just to close the bathroom door. On a second visit got a much better room. Very modern furnishings. Rooms have Usb ports for charging everything you need. Close to paddington and the central line. Overall great experience. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel and hotel room were clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was pleasant and professional. We had a great time during our stay at the Best Western Delmere. Only issue we ran into was with the WiFi. It was intermittent and dropped us occasionally. Perhaps our room was on the edge of its range.

Nice hotel in Paddington. A few minutes away from the station, park and shops. Rooms are small but high tech. Cleaning is good. New towels every day. Shower is fine, butt i’ve youre taller than 1.90m, mind your head. Personnell is very kind and Helpfull. At night its Quiet. Breakfast is fine! Not an English breakfast but European. Our room was very small - two twin beds - but so efficiently appointed that it charmed us within the first few minutes. We didn't take advantage of the onsite breakfast, but the breakfast room looked lovely and they had a nice snack and beverage room off the main lobby. We would definitely stay here again.

I expected this to be a typical hotel in London. For just over 100/night for a small single room I really wasn't expecting much. What a delightful surprise to turn up to find this is a fancy place to stay. The room features were more than I expected. The room was able to be controlled by a sibgle panel next to the bed, lights, heating and even a let me sleep button that lit up a sign outside the room so the house keeping knew if you wanted to be left alone or not. I was a pittle dissapoimted with the parking it is very tight with bollards that are a bit too low to see and I ended up scratching me car but the staff were lovely and came and helped make sure I didnt do any further damage. I really recommend a night or 3 here!!

A truly wonderful, small, 39 room Victorian Hotel with 21st century technology. The rooms have been recently remodeled to express old style charm with new technology. The hotel is spotless. My stay was 5 nights and the hotel became better each day as I became acquainted and comfortable with the area. The staff was wonderful, knowledgeable and would research historical questions not easily answered. The location is great between Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Marble Arch, Leicester Square and Paddington tube stops are nearby. This was my second stay and I would stay again and again.

Big disappointment: website mentions and shows bar/lounge and restaurant. This was particularly one of the reasons I chose this hotel. THERE IS NO BAR AT ALL, AND NO RESTAURANT ! Staff told me it ùsed to be there but it's not there anymore. They could just serve me a drink at the corner of the (small) reception desk, but that doesn't come close to having a 'bar'. Please do not advertise with a bar and restaurant if it isn't there.

This hotel is a super modern location. Check in was easy, and I was directed up to my room warmly. When I got to my room, I was supprised on its size. For a hotel located in a terraced row of old victoria buildings, the romm was warm, bright, airy and welcoming. The en-suite shower was luxury! The television was a multi media centre and easy to use too. I could connect my pad through the Bluetooth or using the dedicated HDMI connection available for chrome cast type units. Internet was free and fast too. No breakfast though, apart from a 'continental' service. I must admit I do prefer a hot cooked breakfast and this is why i feel i cant isue 5 stars. Price wise, for London, this site was amazing value.

Staying at the Delmere was actually one of the highlights of our recent trip to the UK. although we had a bit of a hiccup at the start- the room we were initially given had a broken A/C unit- but they investigated and had us moved to a different room within 10 minutes. the rooms are very small which is typical of the type of Victorian townhouse in which the hotel is situated, an the view into the mews is not the most exciting, but they are scrupulously clean and very fresh and modern. all of the floors have extremely thick padding under the carpets, with the result that the hotel is extremely quiet and peaceful. we only heard other guests twice, and both times it was a very faint sound of a door closing. never heard ANY sounds of people walking around. the neighborhood is very quiet and seemed very safe and respectable; it's only a 5 minute walk from Paddington station with only a single small intersection to navigate; the street leading from the station is lined with restaurants and shops where you can pick up bottled water, a newspaper, a souvenir, or a snack; and less than 10 minutes walk brings you to the gates of Kensington Park. we had excellent pub grub at the Sawyer's Arms, and a good breakfast at Mimo's, which were both nearby on London St; and drinks at the Monkey Puzzle (a bit further walk, but worth it). I can't comment on the hotel breakfast, as we opted to eat in town, but otherwise I have no hesitation about recommending the Delmere to friends and look forward to one day returning to it myself!

Great, little and cosy hotel in a really nice area (Paddington) full of places to go and close to other centric areas (next to Hyde Park 🌳 and Edgware Road). Way above my expectations for the price 💷 we paid! They have been able to renovate the place while still keeping its traditional character intact. Rooms were sparkling ✨ clean, quite quiet (but not absolutely) and modern but cosy at the same time.They might feel a bit small maybe (I don't really feel that was a problem for me, but might be for taller people), also because windows are tiny, but you don't get too much sunlight ⛅ in UK anyway, right? Moreover, they are full-equipped with a great Smart TV 📺, fridge, multiple types of plugs, electronic room controls, plenty of different lights, towels and teas 🍵 and almost anything you could imagine. Again, beds might feel small for some people, although they are super confortable. Actually, the only thing that I actually felt it was a bit too small (and oddly shaped) was the bathroom, as the toilet 🚽 and the sink counter were really close to each other. The shower 🚿 was quite spacious thought, enough to fit with your partner... 😏 There's also a shared room where you can get a coffee ☕ or a tea for free and read the local newspapers 📰. They also serve food and drinks in their own restaurant and a small "bar" 🍸 they have in a corner of the reception desk, although I didn't try them. To be honest, there are a lot of great options in that area, so better go find something outside! 🏃 💨 The staff was super friendly 😊 and willing to help you find nice places in the area. Don't hesitate to ask to ask them for recommendations, they will tell you some really nice places and give you a map 🗺️ of the area. Highly recommend 🥇! I'm already thinking to come back myself (:

We were quite satisfied with the Delmere because of its helpful staff, modern room and bathroom, and especially it’s location close to Paddington station.
