Lovely hotel in the heart of Shoreditch, so can be a bit nosiey at night which is the reason for only 4 stars. I stayed in one of their suites and they had everything I could want. The bathroom was lovely with a nice bath. The bedroom was located on another floor within the suit and was just that extra bit of luxury.

Nice rooftop restaurant ! Really hard to find the entrance though as not on boundary street! Since it was raining we could not access the outdoor area but the indoor part is lovely. The cocktails and desserts were quite good and the seafood mains were a treat! My colleague did not enjoy his duck though as it was super dry so maybe avoid that one. Our waiter was very fun and friendly.

i want to like the hotel but it’s a bit difficult. i wasn’t able to get a room key the entire first evening / night so i had to get escorted to my room by staff every time i wanted to get back in. not ideal. i understand that things happen but some sort of balancing act is required when it impacts the freedom of the guest.
update: thanks for addressing the issue. incremented the rating 🙏

Amazing rooftop experience. Great food, good quality wine, cigars and scotch selection. Reasonable prices for Central London. All staff was helpful and managed our Saturday afternoon in a top notch fashion. Will 101% come back and bring more friends around.

We love it here - we usually go for drinks. There's a lovely fireplace in the middle of the terrace, good heaters and blankets if it's cold - the staff are also always very attentive. They have a good selection of cocktails and there's decent views over the city.

Rude snobby staff, specifically the unwelcoming elitist and arrogant woman at the reception entrance.
The rooftop itself has a pleasant atmosphere to it and is in a good location.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. Amazing service from Pinar. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful meal at Boundary Rooftop - on the waiter’s recommendation we had the scallops and they were delicious, as was all the food. The views are lovely - it feels a rather special place to have dinner.

Fantastic service, fairly reasonable & a great little rooftop hideaway in Shoreditch away from the crowds.

Nice place but closes at 5.30pm which isn't ideal for a hotel at teatime!

Great vibes from their rooftop bar and restaurant, always a good experience.

Nice rooftop location in the heart of Shoreditch.
Good cocktail selection and great service.
We enjoyed the skewers, but we didn't find any of them incredible.

This is in a very convenient location to everything in Shoreditch. We stayed in Josef Hoffman room, its design was great but the air conditioning wasn't working and I was very cold in the night, it was also very noisy as it's facing the main street. Breakfast was mediocre for the price. They should change the veggie sausages to something more edible and charge less for coffees, juices and hot food. Sourdough toasts were amazing!

Great, warm service and delicious food on the rooftop! We went for lunch

Love the venue and setting. Also great to see a lot of plants based options on the menu. Appreciate that table bookings are quite strict at the moment and so did feel a bit rushed, but staff were polite about it at least. Great cocktails

It’s a very nice rooftop with great atmosphere for drinks! The food however is average and overpriced. The staff was also was friendly and nice. So if you’re looking for drinks before dinner it’s a good place to visit!

The best rooftop bar in Shoreditch.

Outstanding! Where should I start? We loved every moment! The views were amazing, the food was delicious, they had a superb cocktail selection and an amazing wine list. Plus the staff worked well to ensure we felt comfortable and looked after, very friendly and reliable! If only we could stay longer. Dont worry we will return!

Nicolas was literally the best waiter I have ever met in London. Super caring and really fast delivery of the everything we have ordered. Love this beautiful rooftop as well!

Great food and great views but a little on the pricer side, but well worth it for the quality of food, portions on the smaller side.

I loved this place. The rooms were HUGE and the bathrooms were very nice, bed was comfortable too. Amazing location. The best roof top, drinks and eats. The staff was helpful and nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Great food, fabulous service and great to be accommodated outside on the roof garden with warm heaters

The perfect date spot. The vibe was nice, the food was decent and the cocktails were beautiful!
When the weather is clear, and if it's anything above 11°, you're going to love it. They have blankets, they have fires, so you won't be overly cold. But I'd definitely still suggest bringing a warm jacket and scarf if it's breezy.
All in all, thought it was great. The only reason it doesn't get 5* is because the food was too salty. But it wasn't bad enough to give it a bad review.

Chilled out late summer evening at the rooftop bar, absolutely quiet during the week. Spacious seating area both outside on the terrace and inside the glass doors. The kitchen serves well put together classics with a bit of a contemporary twist, choosing high quality fresh ingredients: this is the bare minimum one would expect from a pretty bar in central London with its trendy aesthetics. Problem is, for the price you pay, portions are small and the dishes are actually nothing special. The atmosphere is relaxed, the decor is pleasant, simple, contemporary, trendy, lighting is good and music is just a nice background. The views all around the terrace are nice but not on the major landmarks you'd look for. Anonymous but polite and swift service, allowing for a nice catching up chat with friends. Positive overall experience, but really nothing more.

Great setting on the rooftop with tasty food and drinks. Lovely breeze and not rushed off the table, even after 4 hours which I was surprised by and appreciated.
Service charge is always a bit of a gripe tho especially when your waiter is less than charismatic!

Christina, Tamila and Nicholas couldn’t have been more lovely ! We arrived late when the kitchen was closing but they went out of their way to get us as much food as possible! They couldn’t have been nicer and were so hospitable, really made our night so lovely and memorable. Thanks guys !

The setting is excellent, great rooftop bar for the summertime. However we ordered a bottle of champagne (£75), which arrived warm, and the breads - some of which were stale. We also weren't forewarned that there was an office party booked in the interior dining space, which rendered our meal very loud. We were given two complimentary glasses of champagne but overall it wasn't the standard you would expect.

My friend and I enjoyed a meal at the Albion and decided to enjoy a few post dinner drinks on the Boundary Roof Terrace on the evening of Tuesday 27th August 2019. In my past visits, I found the staff to be courteous, professional and attentive.
However, on this evening, we experienced rather surly service and rather unprofessional at times, throughout the evening. In particular we found 'dragon' lady the epitome of un-professionalism, literally shoulder barging into my as I left the establishment.
The cocktails were very good.

I almost didn't spot the door from the road, it was like a little gem tucked away. The setting was nice - good location, beautiful scenery, amazing atmosphere. However the food menu was limited and I was expecting more from the food for the price. Make sure you order sides because the main courses are a bit basic.

Hotel has lovely rooftop bar which reminds me one of New York bars. Cool vibe, great selection of cocktails with gin and tasty sharers. Book in advance if you don't want to wait in the queue!

This is a hotel with a trendy, creative atmosphere geared towards the younger set. My corner room had a cool and hip feeling which was complimented by large windows, and the sunshine poured in! There is a ground floor restaurant that serves delicious English teas and Scottish pancakes, yummy!
The service was very warm and attentive, and each afternoon a bucket of ice and tall bottle of drinking water were delivered.
The hotel location is a bit noisy because it’s right in the heart of the city scene (A10 map area) so a lot is going on. It made me feel like I was in the heartbeat of London. Transportation is convenient with many public buses and a rail station. The financial district of Bishopsgate and the Thames river are not far away.
If you want to dive into all things London and get a piece of the action, then this is the hotel for you! I give it a high recommendation.
