Location: the best you could find in Central Park.
Room: if you have any form of disability, don’t book the windowless rooms. They’re in the basement floor with several steps up and down. No lift going to the rooms so one has to walk them steps.
The ‘double bed’ barely fits. Just enough for one guest. My wife and I struggled to fit and we are just the average size.
Toilet: the toilet is the best part of the rooms. Clean, tidy, gushing water and very hot.
WiFi: very reliable
Staff: accommodating
Breakfast: I would’ve complained if I didn’t try having breakfast outside but still could do better. Considering prices around, I guess it’s good value for money.
For the price, and coming from Istanbul, I felt it was not good value. But this is London, eh?

I found the Central Park hotel very cost-saving ad nice hotel to stay at. The Guys at the reception and the management were very friendly and make the whole stay very pleasurable. i definitely recommend anyone who likes to stay good location .

Absolutely superb value for money... To pay less than £70 a night for a hotel in such a great location - with breakfast - was amazing
Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was small but perfectly adequate for only a 2 night stay... It was also spotlessly clean. I must admit I was a little worried after booking when I read some bad reviews but their sentiments are not shared by me or my wife.

Was nice. No complaints really - room was decent with one of the best wetroom/showers I've ever experienced!

Used as a base on a recent trip to London. It has everything you need, great location, only a few minutes walk to Hyde Park, lots of pubs, restaurants and 2 tube stations within a 10 minute walk. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and the most amazingly comfortable beds. Would highly recommend
g.
Clean, comfortable room although it was on the small side for a double, ideally situated between two underground stations. The only negatives were breakfast is only available by paying a hefty service charge and despite having a window open at all times and frequently using a room fan, the room remained very warm even in October. I would probably stay here again but this would depend on the price as this stay was based on a special room rate and I would not like to have paid any more
S. E.
Nice hotel and not far from 2 tube stops. Room we were given had no windows but light boxes instead which was fine for a few days but not great on longer stays. Clean and tidy would stay again when in London

这个酒店有小偷!不要轻信任何可以拿到房卡打开门的人!!!在这个旅馆住安全得不到保障!!!
THIEVES!!! Don’t trust anyone who has the key to access your room!!! Five stars for ALERT!!!
We lost 500 hundred pounds in the room.!!!The receptionist told us we should put the valuables in the safety box otherwise there will be the risk of losing stuff in the room which means there is NO SUFFICIENT SECURITY. Frankly speaking the values are more than cash so I’m afraid your safety box is too small to put stuffs. And that is NOT an EXCUSE that people paid for the staying and the hotel are not responsible for losing valuables in the room!!!
What’s more, a week ago there was someone knocking the door and then trying to open our door with the card. When I asked who it is he stopped and said he went into the wrong room. SO people are NOT SAFE staying here. You NEVER KNOW who will enter your room WITHOUT your presence.
The facilities are old so it matches the prices. And the problems are far much more than these. Don’t wanna waste my time on writing anything for this hotel.
CHOOSE A SAFER HOTEL.
Don’t recommend!

Beautiful and neat room. Spent 3 days here with my Latino mama. Had the best of experience here and of course I will visit again whenever I have the chance

After reading the reviews on this hotel before our stay, I was worried! But when you consider I paid just over £60 for a room in a brilliant location, I think it was a good option!
The double room was basic but clean, with a powerful shower and comfy bed - main downside is that the room was sooooo hot which made it a little uncomfortable at times. The room had a mini fridge and ample space to store our clothes if we had needed to. The staff were helpful enough and check in was easy - just remember to read your check in documents carefully as they do require photo idea for all adult members of the party when you arrive.
All in all, don’t expect anything amazing but know you’ll get a decent enough sleep in a brilliant part of London!
J.
Only good thing was the location
L.
On entering, staff welcoming, reception area looked and smelt lovely and clean.
On entering the room, was very small and basic , funny smell in the room, shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. Room extremely hot, fan was provided but didn't do the job of cooling down the room, felt no breeze coming from it at all. Didn't really sleep because of the room being so hot. Also only one plug for three people. Found for the price I paid it was quite expensive for what we got.
A. T.
I can honestly say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The entrance had a large container catching water from a leak. The stairways and corridors smelled so bad they made me gag. The room was filthy and in a horrendous state of repair. Shower hanging off wall. Hole in bath. Tiles not grouted. No bedside tables. Tv about 10” and screen was green. Everything smelled bad. Paid for breakfast, not told it was just continental. Having read reviews we didn’t even chance it so can’t comment of them. Would have slept in my car if I had know
Ž. P.
Was nice. No complaints really - room was decent with one of the best wetroom/showers I've ever experienced!

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, on my first night their was hairs on the bed, which was absolutely disgusting! The 2nd night I was locked out my room to be told I hadn’t payed for my 2nd night, however my preauthorisation of my payment was taken when we arrived previously that day. So I refused to pay again. The gentlemen asked for the card I had payed with and I had asked if a 3rd payment would be taken for the 2nd night, he said no and it was just confirming my pre authorisation. However another payment was taken. So I payed nearly £400 for 2 nights to stay in a dirty bed, I told them I had now no money to even get home now as they had robbed me of all my money. They just said that’s not my problem. I would of left if I knew they was going to charge me again and went home. The rudest staff I’ve ever come across. Saying how I was being ridiculous and if I didn’t understand that was my problem and not theirs! I spoke to 2 different people asking for a manager and I was declined this. All staff have such a bad attitude and need some training on customer service. This hotel should not be allowed open. Everytime I would walk past reception there was always customers saying how unhappy they were. I would NEVER EVER come back here again or stay here even if I was homeless, I’d rather sleep on the streets. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. STAY WELL AWAY!!!!!
T.
The fire alarm in our room and hotel went off from 2.30am until 7am continously. Staff said they cannot refund and is a disgrace.
J. H.
Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, its a fairly decent place to stay but it also has a few issues.
They have a bar at reception but... I didn't see it open once during my entire weekend there. So it seems they don't have staff for it.
The room I got was on the 5th floor, it was rather small but that's okay as it was only somewhere for me to sleep, shower and leave my bags!
The bathroom however, was too small for me! I'm a big lad and it was annoying trying to use the loo and get into the shower (pictures attached)
Bed was super cosy, I struggled to get out of it in the mornings I was that cosy in it!
Never got the breakfast they have every morning so nothing to sat about that.
A. F. P.
Absolutely horrible. Multiple rooms have been robbed by the cleaning staff hired from some agency in one day. There was $600 taken from our room and £5000 from other room and half of it was taken from the card!
The hotel does not take the responsibility whatsoever just admitted that it happened 3 times before.
The worst hotel ever. Not even talking about the cleanliness or the fact that the room key did not work properly.
P. M.
This was the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in, cost me £10 extra at check in to check in early when the hotel was empty so i paid 10£ extra for nothing, secondly a week before i came member of staff put the phone down on me after requesting the early check in.
Upon arriving to the hotel it didn’t look too bad but once we got into the room it was disgusting, there was holes in the walls half filled in, the bedding had hairs all over it and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, The windows had locks on them and it was like the cicel hotel.
We woke up the following morning and was excited for a lovely breakfast to then have the receptionist say it would be 17.99 for 2 breakfasts after it was actually included in my room price, after this was sorted with reception we went to the dining hall and it was morbid. There was no cooked anything, the options were stale croissants, toast or fruit with apple juice or orange, for 17.99 that’s disgusting, i wouldn’t ever stay here again if rather sleep in the tube station, money grabbing robbers
S. E.
Excellent staff. All very professional when dealing with queries. Very friendly
I asked to move rooms because I wanted a room with a window and not to be in the basement. Everything was dealt with efficiently. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We booked a stay at another hotel. In which was cancelled just days before our trip due to staffing reasons (understandable during current circumstances) so we were transferred to this hotel! On arrival all staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and welcoming. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. We did have problems with our tv in our room in which we rang front desk and they had someone attend our room straight away in which he was very polite and helpful in fact he was very funny. But resolved the issue straight away as the tv still wouldn’t work he got us a new room (which was next door) would highly recommend!!
Looking to book with you again in the future

Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and enjoyed it. The room was large and spacious. It was on the 7th floor so was very warm with no air conditioning but there was a fan provided. The room included a small fridge to keep things in and a few hangers (but no cupboard). The bed was comfortable and my wife and I had a comfortable stay. The bathroom was clean and included a shower cubicle with a closed door. It was fantastic. Downstairs is a bar area which is reasonably priced (although it wasnt open every day) and there was the option of food to be ordered into the hotel from Maple Street Foods (which was also excellent and included gluten free options). The staff were reasonably helpful and the hotel is a stones throw away from Kensington Gardens and the Central line via Queensway. The price was very reasonable and we would return.
A. K.
Rude and slow receptionist with a bad attitude. Corridors swelteringly hot, with AC units present but switched off. Room very hot, no AC, stained and dirty carpets, double bed consisted of two different height single beds pushed together. Most disturbingly there was a plastic bag tied over the smoke detector and there were items from a previous occupant left under the bed.
To add insult to a horrible nights sleep, they wanted to charge £25 to store bags for a few hours after checkout.
Avoid like the plague!
D. i.
Excellent. Proper Hotel, well trained staff. Spacious rooms.
Definitely recommend and stay here again.
S. A.
the star is too much for them poor reception service they are rude, the room so so hot we couldn't sleep the fan doesn't actually help we asked for a bigger fan which they actually have 4 times on four days and everytime they ignore us, small toilet , poor cleaning they don't have much care empty bottles kept the rug not clean there are bugs. I don't recommend for anyone its a waste of money I rather live in a hostle with respectful room service I don't know who hires the guys but what I know that he seriously doesn't care.
S. A.
Always smells like someone smoking next door.
In the fridge found someone else expired food.
Toilet leaking water all the time and making noises, so can't sleep comfortably.
Even if you have breakfast included you can't get hot food, only cold.
T. L.
For the price i was extremely impressed, the staff were lovely, the hotel was clean and looked very modern and fancy, the room was lovely, the only reason I am rating 4 not 5 stars is due to the bedside light flickering a lot, but other than that I do recommend this lovely place!
A. A.
No heating , bad plug connections for usb charging and to far of the bed
s. e.
I booked in the hotel and I was not able to attend. The hotel refused to give me my money back. I know that it is the reservation policy, but I had to take into account my circumstances and even if a small part of the amount was received, they did not respond to my calls or emails.
L. L.
Disgusting! Booked a 4 night stay, left after one night. No air conditioning, asked for extra fans they refused, double bed was two singles put together, single bed had a tv right above where the pillows were. Not enough plugs in room, skirting boards were dirty, hair on floor in bathroom, no ventilation even with the window that’s in the room. No ventilation in hallway when u come out of the lift. Room was tiny! Unclean too. If you don’t care about hygiene, being able to breath properly, being ridiculously hot and small spaces then this is the place for you. This place shouldn’t even be able to run. The only thing good about the room was the water pressure in the shower.
J. T.
Stayed here for 4 nights mid September and the staff weren’t great. Very welcoming when I checked in but not great after that. I wouldn’t book again
W. R.
Super small room, and no air conditioner ! In hot day very hot! very unsatisfactory! It cost me £130 per day ! Carpet dirty ! WiFi signal weak ! Not suggesting!
M. G.
If I could this hotel a -1 star I would. WORST.EXPERIENCE.EVER. When I booked online it said there was parking options available and AC in the room. It was false advertising and they refused to give me my refund back. My husband and I booked this hotel for 2 nights so we could enjoy our London vacation. We arrived Wednesday and spent the whole day walking and seeing the different attractions. The room was like a SAUNA and I wish I was exaggerating. All we had was a fan which doesn’t help because it’s just circulating the hot air and the window barely even opens. We got to the hotel at midnight after our day out to see if the room would have cooled down but it didn’t.. by 04:00am we had gotten no sleep because how can you when you’re sleeping in a sauna.. I phoned reception and asked them to please find us a room with an AC but they didn’t help. I need to note that I am also 33 weeks pregnant and both my husband and I have asthma so we literally suffered the entire time we were in that room. When reception couldn’t help we literally packed our bags and went home.. at 05:00am. We couldn’t go back to sleep because it was so hot and we were so sleep deprived that we knew we wouldn’t have enjoyed our 2nd day in London because of this. So we literally just gave in the key cards and left to go back home. I feel robbed by this place and would honestly just not recommend it. The ONE nice thing was the fact that the hotel was next to the Kensington gardens and Hyde Park. The rest was complete sh*t. Worst.hotel.ever
C. R.
What can I say? This hotel is like an apple of Sodom. When I walked into this hotel hall, everything was pretty good until I entered my room.No one—used slippers! No shampoos and other cleaning items! The quilt has many black spots on it, which made me really disgusting.
P. C. F. P.
One of the worst experience in my life
Room with no heating, toilet was dirty when we got the room, I will not even put my dogs on that bad, fire alarm goes on 3 times a night, stuff that don't know English and have zero willingness to help
Avoid avoid avoid
E. L.
This hotel is very nice and have best service for the people coming visiting London Your staff is bigger training for service This hotel is ideal for the family and business
A.
Staff are not helpful , room was right by the lift and all you could hear was the noise from that . Wouldn’t stay there again!!! Sent email complaint no reply
A. S.
We woke up in the middle of the night and there was cockroaches running all around our room under all our stuff when asking for someone to come look the staff just said ‘it’s only a cockroach’ there was at least 10 cockroaches in our room we said we wanted to change rooms or we will be leaving they changed our room to just down the corridor which was so noisy when asking for a refund they simple said there is nothing we can do as we booked it with booking.com when contacting booking.com they have advised there is nothing they could do and we could not get any money back, we are absolutely mortified how they can get away with this!!
E. J.
Normal place bathroom not very clean for 2 days is ok staff in the breakfast room ver nice breakfast it is good
S. M.
Hotel is nice, staff are helpful but the beds are rather small
J. J.
What an amazing stay, we were looking for a cheap place to stay up in London for my birthday after the lockdown had been lifted and wow the Central Park hotel didn't fail. It was clean and they all seemed so organized. it was a perfect stay.
D. D.
It was awful. They do not provide any services. They did not even give me a water battery. small room . They did not give me slippers for the bathroom. It was the worst hotel of my life. I and my family will not use this hotel as long as I live. I wish I could not give any stars to this hotel. A small room like a grave.
S. P.
Didn't get the room we booked. First room was in basement, very awkward to get to, with no windows. When asked for another, a double room with no space to walk or to put personal effects in. Next day asked for bigger room like one in original picture, had to pay extra. Dispicable service!
a. p.
Genuinely such a great budget hotel, it is on budget so don't go expecting the moon and stars, but the rooms were clean, bed sheets clean, shower clean, bed super comfy and all that you could need from a basic room. The reception staff were super friendly and were really kind when we checked out some minutes late. The standard room without aircon does get abit stuffy, but the hotel does have fans which you can ask for and this helps with that, of course if you book a room with aircon you'll avoid that trouble. The room was cleaned daily. The location of the hotel is excellent a super short walk to Queensway station, and is right next to that highstreet. Honestly, I've tried a few budget hotels and this is by far the best!
A. W.
Some rooms are damp staff quick to change rooms very helpful and friendly
j. h.
this place is not safe the cleaning staff stole from my room 1900 pounds and the hotel couldnt help me because the cams are trash they are not using it and nobody helping i stayed there for 1 week one of the trashest hotels i have ever been at
P. T.
, the hotel staff a lovely the bar is fun. there's no air con in the hotel, so it's very hot but they do provide you with fans, so it's a little like being in the caribbean without the mosquitoes
w. S.
I spent 13 days at the hotel and the only positive thing about it was the location to the tube and to the parks. There was no AC and one window wouldn't open. We had to change rooms because on the 1st night we found the biggest cockroach I've ever seen.. 🪳 Most of the staff were nice.
V. P.
It’s a great hotel with clean room
E. T.
Awful quality of room. Don’t be fooled by the reception which looks great. It’s a scam. Soon as you go to the rooms it way worse than a hostel. Rooms are like a sauna no ac. I never complain about hotels but I have stayed in hostels way better way better. Honestly shocked how awful it is.
L. B.
Was way better then I expected!!! Loved that I could check in and out any time. The room was clean, spacious and there was no faults.
G. R. F.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. More than happy with my stay there.
P. R.
Very small rooms, do not match the pictures, a questionable cleanliness, but a super ok staff service.
D. M.
Was staying there for five nights on a visit to London must
Say Was very good must as the
Bed room was comfortable
And had a continental breakfast would stay at the hotel again
K. R.
Adequate for the level of Hotel & rate charged. Staff were excellent.
L. K.
I have stayed here on a few occasions and never disappointed. This time a gentleman called Kamil (may not have spelt it right) checked us in and was absolutely fantastic. Great service and polite and friendly. Would hire him in a second with his customer service skills. Thank you for another great visit. I will be back soon!
P. S.
I have waited 15 minutes to check in and they gave me an occupied rooms key and I entered some peoples room!
In room, carpets were full of disgusting stains and bathroom was full of disgusting stains. see the pictures.
There were 6 other angry customers at the lobby, complaining about keys, lights and cleaning. One of them went and came back 3 times for the right keys. There is no security someone can enter your room in the middle of the night.
Reception does not bother about this situation. only answer they have is "Sorry, its software systems fault." as i heard it 10 times for every customer.
P. S.
Discussing attitude from customer service. Pretty much robbed me of my money due to the fact I can’t turn up because I caught covid the day before arrival. But I’m guessing from reading most reviews I had a lucky escape this place sounds like a dive!!!!
G. v.
Room was absolutely disgusting sick stains on the floor , dust everywhere, stained dirt on the walls and the bed had HAIRS in it I kindly asked to be moved to a different room but was refused as they said there was no available rooms even though when I checked online there was many rooms available some of the staff are blunt and rude but others were helpful and kind I don’t like writing a bad review but I’m this case it had to be done.
N. C.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.
Wish I had read the reviews before paying.
BE WARNED.
I booked online and realised I put the wrong date in just after phoned hotel and they wouldn't give me the correct date I wanted.
They took my money from me and wouldn't let me explain over the phone demanded I send an email.
I sent an email to the manager and he didn't reply but they were very fast taking my money.
I am so upset so I want to warn you all of this unsatisfactory service I received in 2018.
Shocking Service for a London Hotel.
F. S.
Nice place, much better than expected, though a fair walk to paddington
a. b.
The hotel location is excellent. The staff were friendly and approachable. My only disappointment was that my TV didn't work.I asked for it to be looked at but it wasn't fixed, which was annoying.
L. H.
Terrible! Absolutely terrible! There’s air conditioning in the lobby and hallways but not in the rooms... also the temperature within the room is unbearable, it’s significantly hotter within the room than outside.
I spoke to a member of staff and he rudely said the hotel did not advertise having air conditioning. Since, my partner and I couldn’t stop sweating from the heat we decided to cancel our reservation just a few hours after checking in. Initially they tried to charge us a two day cancellation fee for their inconvenience (can’t believe their audacity). So I decided to act through the online platform where I initially booked my room.
After dealing with incredibly rude staff that raised their voice and asked me to shut up. I faintly managed to cancel my booking with (1 day cancellation fee).
In brief, avoid like the plague! The prices might be cheap but all their facilities are closed, bar, restaurant, everything and to top it up, rude staff and a sauna for a room.
S. B.
Such horrible customer service they said it was meant to be 89£ for my booking but they took and extra 40£ for no reason. And rooms where disgustingly hot
r. b.
Nice clean . friendly staff.price was right.
Worth staying there.Handy for tube buses & trains.
J. W.
Not very clean rooms staff not helpful would not visit again
M. J.
Budget hotel in a convenient location, close to transport. Staff are reasonable although not friendly. Rooms are small although very clean. The biggest problem is that there is no
soundproofing. We stayed for a week and had almost zero sleep due to noise from other guests.
A. G.
The location is fantastic, being close to Hyde Park and the Central Line, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the food is very good, and the room and bed were quite comfortable. The oversized shower was especially nice!
The only downside is that the room was a bit small, but it was very clean and organized as well as pleasant.
T. B.
Central Park hotel was a fantastic stay. Our room for central London was a really good size. We were able to get into bed on both sides (which has not always been the case in London).
Overall i would give it a 9/10.
Only downside were the lifts were so small that it made waiting time a bit much. Sounds petty and i'd normally take the stairs but checking out with luggage you need the lift.
J.
I'm sure this doesn't happen every day, but I don't expect to see 50 police officers in the hotel lobby. None of the staff were wearing masks and I woke up to noisy repairs happening in the morning. Overall not a great stay.
Y. R.
Room size was disgustingly small. The bathroom was tiny - I could barely get my shoulders in it. Badly ventilated
Z. N.
The best place I ever been. The best clean rooms and the housekeeping team is so kind and fast to provide you with anything you need. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.
L. B.
Arrived yesterday 9-8-20 in ridiculous heat, couldnt wait to get to the room to cool down but we were refused entry as we didnt have photo id we wernt told we had to take any, the staff were extremely unsympathetic. The bodyguard was cery intimidating and other guests signing in also had the same issue so this needs to be more clearly stated i think!!!! After travelling 4 hours and walking 1 all we wanted to do was cool down. This did not and i repeat did not happen once. There was a fan that circulated warm air a fridge that wasnt plugged in and the tinyest bathroom where the cold water was luke warm as was the shower. As stated in previous reviews the towels were tiny. I had to sleep with a wet towel draped over me all night. After finally dropping off to sleep at 2am i we were rudely woken but bangs and doors slamming and men shouting in the corridor it was quite scary. I just wish i read these reviews before booking. Avoid at all costs!!!
A. M.
Stayed here last year for my Christmas present from a friend. The hotel was really nice and clean and spacious. Our room, although on the smaller side, was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The breakfast accommodated our dietary needs as we are vegetarians. Had a lovely time staying there.
M. C.
Terrible. Do not stay here. Poor service and staff are extremely rude. I had a very disappointing experience.
D. B.
It was overall a great stay - rooms were kept clean and well maintained. Although we had an issue with the card reader on the door - but it was fixed in no time. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is just walking distance from the Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, and there are plenty of food options and grocery stores nearby. The Malaysian Hall Canteen down the road is also a great place to have a meal.
S. K.
The location was good, and the room we had was clean. However we couldn't open the windows, which we really missed after taking a shower. Two of the three lightbulbs in the bathroom didn't work, and when we made reception aware of this they said they would send someone up. It didn't get fixed on our 3 night stay at all. When we tried to turn on the towelheater the fuse for our room blew (we could fix it our selves). The last night we were woken up by the fire alarm going of in our room for 3 seconds and then it stopped. When we called Reception about it they only said "everything is fine".
Overall book this hotel for the location, and if you require very little else but a bed.
E. S.
Very clumsy and was not worth for 45 pound as they don't provide any bath kit, nor a water bottle.
M. T.
Decent, not worth your money considering the distance from center and the awful rooms.
The hotel offers two kinds or rooms: terrible old generation rooms with bad air from the smelly carpets, or a brand new room which is located in the basement (-2 floor) with no windows and an air block for your ears. Can't enjoy the rooms, not the stinky one upstairs nor the brand new one in the basement.
The manager, Becky, was amazing and helped us get a better room after we had cigarettes smell come into our room every night since we were located at the ground floor at first and people would smoke outside our window.
The hotel bar is quite good with decent prices and good staff.
A. R.
The lobby is pretty much what you see in the pictures, but certainly not the rooms. Beds are really old, and one of them has a hole with the spring sticking out. I was trying to save a few dollars and thought how bad can the hotel be based on the pictures, but regretted. Not dirty, but not clean either. Occasionally has hairs on the fresh towels, which we found out when we dry ourselves after shower. Breakfast not many chooses and they don't allow you bring food back to the room. I did it anyway and brought the plates back down. TV is about 15 inches, mounted on wall pretty far from bed. The lobby and the bar are nice. The main person, a guy, is pretty knowledgeable with the tour suggestions, but not the lady who also work at the check in. If I could choose again, I probably would try alternative given if I pay a bit more.
D. G.
Hot room: thermostat was at 30C when I arrived. I turned it down to normality and went out for dinner at nearby Bella Italia (delicious!). The room was still uncomfortably hot by time returned in evening. There was a portable fan provided so had to have it going all night near to the open window.
Otherwise, the stay was as expected. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean but there was visible wear on the desk.
J. C. D.
Rooms are stunning and very clean. Hotel is in a great location, restaurants and bars and shops can easily be at reach.
Bar in hotel is really nice and bar staff are helpful and friendly. We did have dinner there which was very nice.
Breakfast is very over priced so we didn't bother with having that as you can find cheaper outside hotel.
Reception staff and concierge team and not very friendly Bearly talk to you. Wasn't. Dry welcoming when we arrived.
R. L.
Nothing to complain about the room, but I gave 4 stars because the cleaning lady is very aggressive and rude to my husband. She aggressively asked for a time she can clean the room when we weren't really sure. Everyone else is very helpful though.
Update: Stayed here again. Again, the hotel and room was very nice, but another staff was rude. We had to wait 5 minutes for the person who keeps the luggage before the check-in time and when he finally came he was so rude.
i.
Less satisfied than before. Room smelled of sweaty socks but decided to live with this as the air conditioning would presently deal with it. However the AC was not cooling the room or dealing with the smell satisfactory, the door handle on the inside came away when we opened the door so after the first night we reported these things. They immediately said we could have another room but we had to pack our belongings, keeping with us things of value as belongings had to be stored in the 'luggage room' until 3pm, the time of occupancy for new guests. We no longer had use of the incredibly useful safe. This was inconvenient but sadly necessary and did impact on our stay. Our new room was 'lower lower' (ie -2) ground floor witih no windows but was cooler and smell free.
This is a really nice hotel in a superb location in which I have stayed a number of times but I fear things seem to have rather deteriorated since my earlier visit's.

Good hotel, they have a freezer in the room, but it takes a bit to freeze, safe in the room, the bathroom is good, the room is good. only thing is the tv is tiny. beds aren't to stiff.
A. K.
It was amazing, great room, kind staff and good location! It 100% recommended
S. C. W.
Overall wasn’t happy. The hotel itself is very nice and good location. However, arived at the hotel, reception service was very pore. Didn’t get greeted which I expected, as we were the only ones there. It was almost as if they were trying to ignore us. We waited a good half hour before we got checked in. Then when we got into the room it smelled, the carpet was soaking which we later found out it was due to the fact that shower wasnt separate to the bathroom floor and the drain wasn’t the best so the water was running down out of the bathroom into the room. If we hadn’t checked the room would of been flooded. We payed for a double bed but they just put two single beds together. Also the plug sockets didn’t work. Wouldn’t recommend.

Worst experience of all time. Avoid like the plague.
They obviously overbooked the hotel so shunted us over to their sister hotel The Royal Eagle Hotel. This place was awful, noisy, the room was tiny and the complementary breakfast really basic.
The staff were rude and unhelpful and the room was too hot as the radiator in it was impossible to turn off. The walls were paper thin as well so all the noises from the lift and outside could be heard all night long.
Avoid like the plague

Average hotel with perks and cons.
This is an overall OK/good hotel for a weekend trip to London. The hotel is relatively close to Hyde Park and the underground/bus stop into the more central part of London is just a few minutes away.
The hotel staff was nice and helpful enough with requests that we had. The bed and pillows are not the most comfortable thing in the world, but you'll survive. The room did not have a working air conditioning and the air could get quite heavy so we had to have the windows open. The fan in the room helped with air circulation at night.
The lobby is very modern and a lovely place to hang out with a cup of coffee or a drink.
However, DO NOT buy the breakfast. We bought the full English breakfast for 12£ and it was such an awful quality of the food and definitely overpriced. We went down the street and ate a much better breakfast for 5£. Do that instead.
Overall, I thought the hotel was good enough for a weekend trip. Cheap enough to stay there for a few days while you're exploring the city.
J. L.
Room was clean, nice and we have nice view from the window. Hotel is near the undeground, bus station and the centre. People on reception were very nice and kind. Housekeeping cleaning our room everyday. Everything was perfect!
R. L. D.
The hotel was nice and was in a great location. The bedroom was fine and the bathroom had been recently refurbished to a high standard. Air conditioning in the rooms needs to be installed as the rooms were extremely warm in the night, due to it being the middle of summer. We arrived early and were able to check in early, which helped us a lot.
C. W.
I was not disappointed with this hotel. The perfect place to explore London
R. S.
Great stay, tube station just a short walk.
J. S.
Not as good as last time, there was no breakfast room, had to order in breakfast. No air con in room
L. W.
The room service is excellent, daily bedding change. Facilities are always clean, shower actually works and the beds are very comfortable, support for EU power connectors and mini fridge! Overall, excellent experience, except WiFi is very slow at the far end of the rooms.
L. F.
Stayed here in April of this year and was so unimpressed and hurt by the lack of care and interest the staff showed to us. When we got to our room there was dirty towels on the bed, a shower full of hairs. We asked to change rooms and I expressed the reasons why and we were told this was the room they had for us. We went back to reception and asked for the manager and he was very helpful in giving us a new room. As we went to the filthy room to collect our luggage we saw a cleaner entering the room I asked her if this room was still needing to be cleaned and she was surprised and nodded her head. I was very annoyed. My one star goes to the manager, I think his name was Marcel. Won’t be back again.

Fantastic location especially for those in need of tube stations near them. All kinds of shops and restaurants are a breath away, the two beautiful parks at your feet and let us not forget we are talking about value for money. A simple -very thin walls on the sixth floor!!!- yet fine hotel, in the heart of London offering rooms at low prices! Concierge and reception staff simply wonderful and very helpful. One more plus which I won't forget-they allowed me into the room hours before 15.00 that is supposed to be the check-in time. Mrs Simona-at reception desk- million thanks!
S. S.
Besides the kind and helpful staff,
I didn't enjoy my stay, no air-conditioning which makes it very difficult to sleep in summer time.
A. E.
The rooms are nice and clean, very comfortable beds, and the housekeeping is flawless. They cleaned my room every single day, and made it look new again. The reception staff is great as well, very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside are the bar staff. They seem kinda new, and they don't have the best attitude. Location wise, it's close to many great restaurants, and this area is more like a tourist hub. It has 2 subway stations about 2 and 5 minutes walk respectively. Queensway and Bayswater. My overall experience, apart from the bar staff, awesome!!! Would definitely stay here again in future.
S. C.
I paid 67 USD per night plus tax for a September 2019 stay. The room was clean, and the lobby has a nice bar area. The hotel is conveniently located near public transit. Kensington palace and gardens are located across the street. The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Oxford Circus and other major neighborhoods and attractions are about 15 to 30 minutes away using public transit. If you'll be spending very little time in your room, you can't beat the value. If you're seeking more amenities, then a full service hotel may be a better option.
In other reviews, I'm seeing comments about air conditioning. I stayed on the lower level and the air worked perfectly fine. I do believe that the rooms have a energy saving feature that shuts the air off once you leave the room. The room was always stuffy when we returned from outtings. However, the rooms cooled down quickly. A lot of hotels have this feature installed. You have to leave the key in the slot by the door.
D. M.
Just be aware of the fact they charge for early check in and luggage storage
W. M.
Excellent location, tube station is very handy. Well connected by public transport too. Very near to the Hyde park. The room was small and congested. The entrance to the room had such a small place, we could hardly take the pushchair in. Rest the room was neat n clean, comfy bed, had a safe in the room. Desk staff was OK. Overall stay OK.
A. M.
It was cheap, but there was no AC and the fans did little to help. Extremely small rooms. Service was good and rooms were kept clean, but the staff did not speak much English, which made communicating difficult at times. Overall a good experience, but next time I come to London, I will definitely splurge for a room that isn’t the size of a breadbox.
J. S.
The room was fantastic, with a very well designed layout. The bed was comfortable and everything I needed was provided to me. Upon checking in, the staff were very friendly and helpful, making my stay an overall very pleasant experience. Would definitely look to stay there again on my next visit.
T. R.
Great location. Close to the Queensway underground station 🚉
J.
super rude and incompetent reception staff - there were about 8 people behind the desk and I was the only one waiting to check in and they were all too "busy" and left me waiting for about 10m .On checking in, I asked what they were going to use my home address for which they "required" (info not included on booking), the extremely rude man started threatening to not let me stay in the hotel and wouldnt answer my question. Think its quite reasonable to know what your personal information is used for. Then the man refused to call my friends room who was staying there, because I had questioned him and was very condescending. Only reason its not 1 star is because the room was fine and a good location - but would definitely recommend somewhere else. Bad customer service makes a big difference to the experience
c. h.
Clean, quiet, friendly helpful reception staff.
Room was a bit small, breakfast ok but has limited choice. Need to update those breakfast cups.! Had to refill 3 times to get my large coffee in the mornings.....
L.
NOT VALUE OF MONEY, I normally don’t write a very long review but this is the worst hotel experience I ever have. The room is ridiculously small a total opposite from the pictures online. Due to the weather the room is extremely warm literally no air at all, the fan given is very bad, hardly blow cool air. TV is just a bit bigger than Ipad screen! The bed is an ok quality, but the bedsheets and pillow case doesn’t look clean! The room carpet looks dirty. The hotel corridor itself is in a very bad form, it’s like the hotel is almost fall apart the wallpaper are falling off, the wooden frame or wall decoration are cracking and falling apart. One of the staff in the afternoon shift was quiet rude, when asked about upgrading the room to the one with AC. The only good thing I can say for this hotel is the location, but IT REALLY IS NOT WORTH THE VALUE OF MONEY!
E. B.
Nice and comfortable rooms but with the recent heat, there is no way to cool down the rooms. Walking in after a day in and around Hyde Park was hotter than it was outside in the sun.
P. V.
Perfectly acceptable room
J.
They made everyone wait over 30mins in the lobby after check in time, Extremely unprofessional.
j. w.
Beautiful place, very helpful staff, great location.
Only issue was the bathroom - it was minuscule.
A. R.
Helpful guys on Reception and girls behind the bar. Wanted a cup of coffee in Breakfast room while waiting for breakfast to start at 07.00! Chef would hear of it and kept the door locked. Is this London or some sleepy little village? Maybe he should understand customers pay his wages
T. P.
Hot room: thermostat was at 30C when I arrived. I turned it down to normality and went out for dinner at nearby Bella Italia (delicious!). The room was still uncomfortably hot by time returned in evening. There was a portable fan provided …
G. L. M.
Good value for money
C. B.
Nice environment. Central london. Great music in the lounge. Crew work hard. Cosy and great price for be in the middle w2 in London.
C. B.
Hotel very clean and comfortable with proper windows that opened. However was looking forward to shower after extremely hot day only to find there were no safety/grab rails within the lovely spacious shower cubicle, surely a Health & Safety issue!!
S.
The rooms were very clean and the wifi had a great connection. I didn't feel like the staff weren't too worried about giving us the best experience, they were also very busy when we checked in. We called down when we realised we had forgotten a phone charger and were informed the hotel didn't keep any spare. I Feel like these extra little things usually turn a good hotel into a great one.
S. N.
Overall is a good hotel for tourists who want fast, near and reliable transport and infamous London attractions. The breakfast is an option for those who don't want to go outside and search for restaurants and overall a great hotel. However the downsides are that the rooms have no air conditioning and some with little to no sockets to charge phones when occupied with other wall outlets. Also the bathrooms can be a bit small sometimes.
j. w.
I was disappointed because when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told me that the room was not accessible and I had to stay in another hotel on the other side of the street – Troy Hotel. I’ve been there with no complain, even if the quality of the hotel was much lower then what I paid for – Central Park Hotel.
In addition, during the check in at Central Park, the receptionist told me that the next day at early morning the room would have been ready. I’ve been waiting at the hotel and the room was not ready till noon or even after.
I’ve talk with a woman responsible for the situation and she told me that we had to thank her because she was trying to give us the room before 3 o’clock – the standard check in time; she forgot that we paid also for the day before (meaning we had right to have a -paid - room during all morning at the hotel) and that the receptionist told us that the room would have been ready in early morning.
We really did not feel comfortable in being moved at late night in a lower standard hotel but above all to wait all morning at the Central Park Hotel hall. Due to this, we ask you a partial refund of the stay, taking in consideration the change of the first night and the long morning waiting – considering we had important meetings during the day and we couldn’t go to refresh us before them until 12.30.
I want also to mention that the behavior of your employee, this girl with glasses in charge of the situation, was really disappointed. I was saying to her that we were in late in the morning and that we paid for the morning and I was trying to explain my reasons, and she answered back “you said you are in late for meetings, why are you still talking to me then?”, she was really not respectful and unprofessional, treating us like disturbing things more than people and I think I will let people know about this behavior.

Although you can not beat the location of the hotel. You can definitely beat the service and accommodations by going else where. Upon arrival the hotel staff that was checking us in was a man who spoke in a very low voice that could not be heard with the other hotel staff working near by. Once we revived our room the room was extreme muggy and hot. There is absolutely no air conditioning with in the rooms on the third floor at all. There is a small plug in fan that is extremely noisy sitting on the window seal but it barely is enough to leave you comfortable in the room at all. We asked for another fan which only broke later on that day so we were left in a small muggy room with a small fan that wasn’t doing much. The second time we requested a new fan they never brought one up at all and never apologized for the lack of brining another fan up to the room. You are essentially getting what you pay for. If you are only staying one night near Hyde Park it is a good alternative then staying at the pricy Hilton down the road. No frills at all. Very simple. The towels are also extremely rough and they do not properly wrap around your body much so you are left still wet. Other then the uncomfortable nights sleep and constant sweat we endured we are happy to have stayed near Hyde Park but will not be returning to this hotel any time soon. Save your money and go to another hotel that will have better accommodations, and maybe some AC during the hot days.
C. M.
Stayed at this hotel last April and complained that the toilets were not working. Got no satisfaction from the rude front desk and had to leave for another hotel. We were told there was only one room available in the basement and we would not want to be down there. Stayed at the Hilton down the street with courteous service and rooms that were impeccable. Learned a lesson in that you get what you pay for. I see the service and cleanliness has not changed. How in the world are these hotels allowed to stay open?
D. D.
The hotel and distance was excellent but the receptionist people are very rude to us, ESPECIALLY the girl named ELENI. We haven't enquire finish on our questions and she suddenly stopped our sentences halfway. Most of the staffs are being rude and not helpful. One of the worst hotel i've stayed so far in London. Will never recommend anyone to come back here until they have all of their staffs being trained nice and helpful.....
C. M.
Standard 3-star what you'd expect for the price.
S. S.
1 star for the location very close to underground and bus. The room equipped with ventilation system, not working! El. fan brought some air in the room. Bathroom set up is fairly new absolute uncomfortable narrow, again no ventilation. The designer can go for some lessons. Housekeeping Sunday morning 8.30 ran up and down to find a room to work on. Sign do not disturb is meaningless if their behave like selling veg on a market. I did not book the cheapest category, but this should absolutly be a very good deal to stay.
A. S.
The hotel was ok but nothing special.
Some staff training with some at reception and some in-depth cleaning in the bathroom's would be good. Our bedroom was tiny and the ensuite was really small.
D. T.
It was my fault really. I should have done more research. Did not realise that we were booking the type of hotel that rents rooms out by the hour! We had 3 rooms and my poor husband who was sharing the room with my young son has orgies take place in the room next door all 3 nights all night . When he complained to reception it stopped for a little while then started again. The room was dirty, the tv remote had tape holding the batteries in place, the safe did not work, the kettle did not boil, the cupboard that the fridge was in had no ventilation holes and therefore got very hot. A fire hazard. The shower was clogged, the staffed were not happy to be there, they took too much money out of my account, the breakfast was horrible and they charged us 12pounds for the privilege. The staff were not interested in sorting anything out. DON'T GO THERE.
K. Z.
Good location, awful hotel. Rooms are hot and outlets are broken. Staff is complacent and do the bare minimum to keep their jobs. Rooms are small and bland. Bellhop 'Abdul' has little to no manners and is incredibly rude. Due to an issue with our first room (no power) we switch rooms and they held our luggage while we left for the day. When we returned they had us fetch our own luggage from the store room after waiting for the bellhop to arrive and did not help as I carries up 4 suitcases up a flight of stairs (trying to get the room ready for the family). Avoid at all costs.
A. W.
Please don’t stay here. This is NOT British hospitality. Had a tv. But you couldn’t watch it. The picture I have shown is it’s full extent and points to the wall. So there’s no where to sit and view it. Had a beer in the bar and the staff were arguing in a foreign language about something. Wasn’t quite the relaxing atmosphere I was looking for. Concierge and reception staff were good on one occasion and the following morning different staff were distracted and unhelpful. The bar was ridiculously hot and had a fan and heater working at the same time. 5 minutes was enough in there for me. Room was ridiculously small. Breakfast was £12 for an English breakfast. You can buy a fresh cooked English or continental 2minutes walk from hotel in bays water that is 10times better than the rubbish they were serving. If I could leave this place a zero
Star I would. Arrogant bar staff. Wouldn’t except 10pence in small change (coppers) To pay for a beer. Seriously GROW UP and learn what hospitality is.
K. W.
Nice quiet room with comfortable bed, TV, fridge, safe, kettle etc. Spotless bathroom with wonderful shower. Excellent breakfast in the spacious dining room. Stayed here before and will do so again when I next visit London. Recommended.
M. H.
The hotel itself was good .staff were very accommodating . Fatty bacon at breakfast and having to wait for food to be replenished on a (buffet that wasn't help yourself as we had hoped was quite annoying. Very limited fruit selection on the continental buffet so we ate out on day 2.
M. D.
What an awful experience. I booked with this hotel back in March for November. The price was great and the location was fantastic, exactly what I was looking for. They charged my card months ago and took a 'deposit' amount and then they tried to charge my card again two days ago. Unaware of the charges being declined as I wasn't expecting it and therefore didn't have the right amount in my account, they then cancelled my booking. After spending 20 minutes trying to get through to the hotel by phone I finally managed to speak to someone. She told me that there was nothing they could do and I'd have to re-book online. The price had gone up by over $200. What a money grab. The customer service is appalling and really needs to be looked in to. I spoke to Klaudine the reservations agent months ago about my booking and she was awfully rude and condescending. I'm glad they cancelled my booking and I will definitely be telling anyone travelling to London to AVOID this hotel. I've found a lovely hotel on the same street and for a much better price! I would advise everyone to look elsewhere before going here.
A. S.
The hotel was good - clean and well-presented, friendly staff, and just a short walk from Paddington and other central locations. My only minor observations were that the room was quite small and the breakfast was not on-par with those offered in other hotels. That said, I would come and stay again.
4. a. C. W. A.
This hotel is clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. The room I booked was cheap, so I shouldn't be surprised by the narrow bathroom, dated furniture and appliances. It is also not very central to the touristy sites in London, so that was a bummer. Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are a quick walk but everything else was a haul (or maybe it was my jetlag making me think that.) There was free wifi, and a refrigerator in our room which was really nice.
G. H.
Without a doubt the most frustrating hotel experience I have had in my life - and I have traveled a lot.
Prior to my arrival 3(!) emails were left unresponded to by the hotel, which is ridiculous by a hotel that is staffed 24/7.
When checking in, our room was filthy. Working in a hotel myself I understand that can happen, and asked them to clean it again. Usually when a complaint is made you make damn sure the room is spotless after - but not this hotel. They did one thing and that was to remove the sticky-thing from the ceiling.
I complained again per email as we returned late to the hotel, when it was left unanswered again I complained to the concierge. He could inform me that they only answer emails Monday to Friday 9-17...
I was told to complain directly to the manager on Monday before 10. I did, and I stood there for a good 45 minutes. The result was that I had to re-send my emails another 5 times, until they found out they don't get emails with too many pictures attached to them, so I had to send each picture individually. They couldn't resolve anything as far as compensation on the spot because yet another department had to do that. After being shuffled from department to department and spending a good portion of my last day I asked for a late checkout till 14.00 thinking they would OF COURSE give us that for free, especially considering we had paid for a superior room - but nope. It would be £10 and hour.
Customer service has been throughout subpar, from phone calls to check in to emails to management. I honestly would not recommend them ever. The location is great, but you can definitely find that and a better price with other hotels..
C. O.
Wife & I spent a week here in August. Room was OK, no AC. Bathroom lock needed work, guest was locked in the bath, needed maintenance to unlock door.
Room was clean.
We had key problems.
Wifi worked.
Continental breakfast not up to my standards, but not bad.
Only one usb port for charging. Outlets did not all work.
Wrote to hotel to get price of Full English Breakfast. Was told 3.50 for the upgrade. Upon arrival, it was 5 pounds. FEB not worth the upgrade, I don't think staff had ever had a good one, mostly Eastern European/Romanian.
I would go there again, but it wasn't what I was expecting.
C. B.
Good value hotel in pleasant part of West London.
Well worth another visit
C. G.
I have to say it's been a long time since I stayed in such an agreeable hotel (in the UK). Considering the price, the location, the rooms, and the service everything was up to standard. Would definitely stay again.
J. A.
We booked our stay with a third party. At the time of making the reservation, we booked two adjoining rooms for a family of four. When we got there to check in, we were told there is no such things as adjoining room and we got two separate rooms instead. That meant that we would have had to split since the rooms and bed are small. That didn't worked for us, since we wanted to be together. However, we manage to accommodate ourselves for the length of the stay. I recommend to check with them directly if you made a reservation with somebody else to avoid inconvenience. Other than that, great location.
A. H.
The hotel is really good for people that came to hit get to know the town. Is near some underground stations, restaurants and convenience stores. And you also can walk to some sightseeings due it's locations. The room is good enough for cool down after a day walk around. The staff is really good, very helpful, my group don't speak english fluently and they explained everything patiently. The restaurant it's a life saver for those with jet lag and meals times all messed.
O. B.
after reading alot of the negative reviews we thought we should still go seeing as we had pre paid but we phoned the reception first to ask how there rooms where they said everything is fine now.
I can assure you this is one of the worst city hotels I've ever stayed in, no air condition, rooms are hot beyond belief, its got no sound proofing, and all the walls are marked or scuffed this place is no way worth the money if it was £70 a night you could understand but they charge alot more than that.
A. E.
Very Nice Hotel in Paddington , near Hyde Park, its position is very easy to reach and very comfortble for going around the city.
The hotel has good Princes, the rooms are quite big with a very good bathroom and a nice shower. All the staff is very kind and the cleaning of rooms is complete. The ratio quality/price is very good and I think the hotel is even better that 3 stars they had.
H. V.
Bed too short for a 1.80m person and not comfortable.
Reception does not have minimal bathroom stuff in case you forgot. The receptionist proposed I buy his own toothpaste.... horrible
T. W.
Nice place to go and stay in London. Staff was very efficient, rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfortable. The reason I am giving them 3 star is because when you stay in rooms in basement, you constantly hear luggage being dragged by people checking out. If you can ignore this, it's good place to go, queensway station is in close proximity and you can go to bus station as well which is just outside the hotel.
N. N. A. A.
The hotel has dated since the photos were taken. For the money, this place is pretty basic. If you are looking to be central and just need a bed, then sure, it works... otherwise nothing to ring home about. Staff who checked us in looked like she would rather not be there.
M. B.
The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. No welcoming ambience to this place. No air conditioning except for basement. The carpet is old and smelly; some of the rudest staff;non nutritious breakfast; water leak in front of room door that was not fixed for 4 days; Wifi that was sporadic:Room decor is non existent. Don't be fooled by Internet pictures.
This was the worst leg of our European vacation.
M. K.
Easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is excellent and the reception area looks nice but that's where the good stuff ends. The rooms are dreadful - uncomfortable bed, far too hot, dirty and shabby. But the worst thing of all is that my boyfriend and I got bitten all over by something while we slept. Horrendous!! There are plenty of Travelodges and Premier Inns in London that are cheaper and much nicer than this dump. Do yourself a favour and stay in one of those instead!!
N. N.
The staff is friendly. Room small but cosy. Will recommend.
G. B.
Very nice hotel. Good service and a great location if you like to walk a little.
The room was nice and always clean.
Ask to get the rooms in the internal building as it is more isolated.
L.
The only good quality this hotel has is its location to Hyde Park. Staff are not helpful at all, and there is no air conditioning available in any rooms on floors 1-5. Which in 30 degree heat is unbearable. If you are planning a trip to the capital, stay somewhere else.
A. S.
Hotel is way less than its daily room charges. Staff is not helpful. we visited London in the first week of August and it was hot, no AC and a fan which was given to us was not working well. you can hardly feel any air coming out of it. I would not recommend this hotel. Bath room is very small and room is not comfortable.
K. F.
Great for a cheaper place to stay in London. Overhead rainfall shower in bathroom is refreshing but there were signs of a lack of cleanliness overall
V. B.
ROOM:
--The bed = okay.
BATHROOM
--Great small bathroom; two showerheads to choose from, hot water.
--Soap, shower gel and towels = okay.
LOCATION
--Good location; cafes and the Tube within 5-7 minute walk.
OTHER:
--Wifi.
--Coffee maker in the room, tea, TV, fridge and a safe.
--Perhaps housekeeping needs some training; they were loud throughout the night, early in the morning yelling in the hallways and I saw one who was cleaning a room and had the TV blasting - before 10 a.m. So unprofessional.
P. V.
Was told to check in at 3pm, however due to double booked rooms we had to wait until 4.15pm to get a free room, as did many other guests. Room was hot with no a/c and only a small fan. The staff were too busy to properly cater to guests needs (believe this was due to understaffing and the staff were trying their best to handle everything at once to no fault of their own) and when our room ran out of toilet paper it took three phone calls to reception and 40minutes to get more.
R. B.
It was a total disaster. First the photos did not match the room we stayed in, which by the way was small, dirty and smelled of dust, old sheets and towels. I asked the reception if we could change rooms and she said they were all the same, if I did not like one, I would find the same of others. When I left the room for a walk, I left the "do not disturb" sign on the door, when the maid asked me if I did not want to clean the room, I said "no thanks", even though she did not like it. Upon returning to the room (the night) the "do not disturb" sign had disappeared from the door, there was a spoon on the floor next to the suitcase (which was not there when we left) and, most important, the PERFUME that was on the table DISAPPEARED . I informed the reception of the hotel and they told me that they would call the police and they would solve the situation, spent the night and no one returned. The next day when checking out I questioned the front desk and they told me to fill out a form and one day they would give me a feedback on the subject. That is, they did not solve anything! I paid for a horrible room, dirty, poorly attended and still "lost" a perfume.
J. B.
My stay at this hotel was awful. The beds were dirty and me and my partner woke up with sore elbows because of the rough sheets. The toilet smelt of drainage and the tv remote smelt of poo. The whole experience was disappointing, also the staff were very rude and blunt .
-. a.
Hotel worthless. Run away from this hotel! The advertised pictures do not tell the truth. The bed linen is dirty and the bed is old, noisy and uncomfortable. The facilities are good only in the lobby. Inside the room is old, and unused. There is no air conditioning. The bathroom is old and dirty. Employees make so much noise at the time of cleaning it impossible to sleep. Rude and discourteous service. There is no internet in the rooms. Neither paid internet works and they do not reimburse.
C. l. A.
A wonderful hotel, their services are excellent ... a fault with the small bathrooms and this is a general problem in Britain
J. K.
I would never recommend the Central Park Hotel to anyone. It's so small. The fridge doesn't work and we have bed cover completely covered my pants in white fluff. We asked for the fridge to be fixed, spoke to 3 people all with blank stares. We asked for a new room, they advised there was nothing they could do. It was stupid of me to pay in advance. This is a terrible way to end what was a fantastic time in the UK.
R. D.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!
My family and I were awoken at 12 midnight by another party entering our room. Clearly the hotel had double-booked our room and allowed this terrible situation to occur, jeapordising our privacy, safety and security. You can only imagine the fright received by my wife and I as we were fast asleep and awoken with a start by the new guests. Since the incident in March 2018 I have subsequently tried to work positively with the hotel to address this situation however I have been completely ignored on all occasions by all staff I have made enquiries with despite my ongoing efforts. We are simply gobsmacked and appalled by this situation and would recommend all STAY WELL AWAY from this hotel. Seek alternative accommodation elsewhere!

Rooms are good, neat and clean and with modern furniture, decor and amenities. Good hotel and located just opposite Kensington Gardens. Hyde Park is just opposite. Tourist friendly area. Located near Queensway station. Many food and souvenirs shops in nearby area.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Very safe area for family and children. Tourists from all over world book this hotel. Located in Central London and near main tourist locations of London.

My girlfriend and i booked for 2 nights in june and then i had a health problem in family, so i needed to pospone my journey. I asked them to change dates (in august) but they decided to take the money leaving me without any room! 👌🏻
I'm very surprised of this lack of care about customer satisfaction. I wrote to them and they neither reply.
It worth to book in an hotel where for managers money are more important than customer satisfaction?
The decision is up to you.
You will find this rating also on Booking
PS: I had another hotel booked near airport (to be more comfortable for early morning flight) and they made this favour to me (very kind and professional!)

Rooms were petty good, although the bed wasn't exactly spectacular. Breakfast was alright, with a lot of things to choose from. Overall pretty decent for what you would expect

The inside is beautiful, but the rooms are incredibly small. Our shower drain wasnt eorkingand when we called, they said maintence would be up, they didnt come till the next morning. The beds are old and uncomfy. The walls are thin. Breakfast is a joke

Clean, but pray to the god of your choice you don't get noisy neighbours. Walls are made of paper and every EVERY sound comes through. Enjoy hearing people pee at 3am? This is the hotel for you!

Our room was a full sized bed and had two windows. Visit was Aug 7-14.
Most rooms do not have AC and you would think this would not be an issue in an area that doesn't get above 70 degrees much. Rooms were unbearably hot. Windows open slightly but such that no breeze can come in. An osculating fan was provided and that made it just bearable. The room was often too hot to sleep. Many degrees warmer inside than out.
Bugs would also come in through the windows since there are no screens. If you can eat carbs then the continental breakfast was OK. however if you require protein then you will have to upgrade at 5 pounds per day for the hot breakfast. The mushrooms are canned. The sausage was mushy, and the bacon is closer to US bacon and not typical UK bacon. Beans were fine as was the tomato. You had three form of cooked eggs to choose from, fried, scrambled, and hard boiled. Absolutely no decaf options in the breakfast room.
The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. Our bathroom was spacious enough to use. Friends who were in a smaller room had a very tight bathroom that was difficult to use.
Location was useful. Just across from a park and close to Kensington Palace. A couple blocks from the Queensway Tube stop which was very convenient.

Been there last year. Room not really clean. Paid a lot for extras. Safe was broken. Bathroom leaking and really small. Bedroom was in theback and the window cannot lock. One phone call of 5 minutes cost me ! Forget about breakfast we had to go eat out.

Small rooms , good bed but way to hot in the room even if it were around 15 degrees outside it were around 26+ inte room and no air conditioning their solution was a fan.

There are not many amenities, everything is a little shabby, the floor we stayed on had very low ceilings like a hobbit hole or that bit from John Malkovitch, and there is a funny smell. The noise is also a problem, with a lot of noise from the street below, and a loud air conditioning unit. Don't get me wrong, it's quite clean, very close to Hyde Park, which is nice, and the staff are friendly, but this is a hotel and nothing more.

Slow and unprofessional reception. We got there and AFTER being charged were informed that they would send us to another hotel since they had "problems". After objecting we got another room which was horrible - uncomfortable and with single beds only. Stay away.
T. B.
Run down, overused and shabby. Rooms are horrible and look like they've not been updated since the 90s. Reception/lobby area looks ok but that's it. The rest of the hotel is not worth wasting your money on! Would not recommend!

The rooms are a bit small and the hallways and rooms are kinda lloud but it is almost in the centre so thats great, from queensway underground station its very easy to find! i booked a standard double room!
I would reccomend this hotel if u are alone or a couple! They have a restaurant and bar as well! Very kind and patiënt staff.. I would come again!

The Good Stuff
1) Beautiful lobby
2) We arrived too early for check in but the gentleman looking after the luggage room was friendly and very helpful - perhaps more so than those on reception
3) The room was a good size, clean, comfortable and ambient
4) Good location - close to bus stop and subway, restaurants and mini supermarkets
The Not-So-Good Stuff
1) When we arrived to check in, two receptionists stood at the desk gossiping about a customer who had just left instead of serving us although they could see us. A member of staff next to them announced on a speaker that there were guests waiting and the jumped into action. Not very professional at all.
2) The fire alarm went off twice, on calling reception I was told it was a false alarm. I also let them know that I could smell cigarette smoke on our floor. There are not enough, if any, no smoking signs/detectors. No assistance was offered by staff to try and make us feel more comfortable.
3) The other floors of the hotel are in need of a makeover as there are chunks of plaster missing near skirting boards (likely the trollies)
4) The doors slam
Overall, for the money, it's a good enough place to rest your head if you're spending your days in around London

Get what you pay for. Its got a great central location and the bathroom was newly renovated. Small room with no air conditioning and a horrid smell to the room.

Stayed there last year and caught COVID, the receptionist caugh at my face, not wearing I mask. When I questioned him, he yealled at me and asked me to go away

Housekeeping services are a little weak, toiletries not refreshed regularly and you have to give efforts to get them. Nice and polite staff, rooms can be taken as spacious considering it's in London.

Horrible. There are romanian gangs around the hotel. My room was burgled and my camera and money stolen. The hotel staff did not bother a bit. In fact, they were absolutely callous, rude and irresponsible. This is not a hotel. It is something else.

I stayed there for a week, the room and bathroom were a bit small but it was okay for me, since they are renovating the place, they probably changed out the bedding etc because I was looking for bed bugs and even came prepared but the room was clean. Room service came every day to make sure everything was okay and clean. The location was perfect, close to queensway and bayswater tube stations, groceries and fast food places to eat and a shell gas station if you needed anything for late night. Kensington and Hyde Park were across the street. Check-in starts at 3 pm so if you arrive before that time frame, there is storage for your luggage so you can tour the place and return to check in. If you are looking for a great hub to access everything this hotel is a great spot, it also is surrounded by other hotels as well I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely choose to stay there again. I will say they definitley need to update the hallways/ lift lobby of the hotel seems a bit outdated.

We checked in at 12.30 but room was not ready. No problem we go visit and come back at 7. But they gave us a room in the basement. And told us first in first served. Ok. But nobody told us we can have a room in the basement. So they finally change us for an other sister's hotel. Impossible for us to stay underground to sleep.

A very clean hotel, nothing exceptional just nice basic rooms and friendly staff.

Staff were very polite and helpful... Our tv wasn't working and straight away it was fixed... I have read so many bad reviews about here and i have to say i find it a great hotel bathroom a littel small but thats my only complaint

Hôtel a bit noisy, but everything is fine. Good english breakfast. The room was small but cleaned. Bathrom was refurbished. Not too expensive as breakfast was included. There is also a luggage room to keep luggage after checking out and free of charge

F*** THIS PLACE!!! Unfriendly staff with no help! They were over booked and put us in a different hotel for a night without explaining anything. After a night they gave us a room and it was in the basement with no windows and small for 3 people - it was a single room and we paid for a double room. I was disgusted with this place and I will never recommend it to anyone! Unfriendly and disrespectful!!!! Not worth your money!!!!! Stay away!!!!!!

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights. The pluses are the location and the breakfast. The negatives are: no air conditioning, small room and very small bathroom. The opening of the window is limited unless you have hotel staff disconnect the window latch. However, the wider the window opening, the more street noise you will hear such as street sweepers at 6:00 AM in the morning.

The staff were rude. I wasn't happy with the room they gave me and the woman told me they were no other available rooms but there were. She just didn't want to give it to me. Lack of customer service. Rooms are ancient and the TV in some of the rooms are just unusable. Terrible hotel. Save your money. Go Travelodge.

Receptionist and the cleaner were fine. The room was terrifying, the view from room was on the bins.... booked by booking and if you can choose different place to stay.

Not a great experience , the hotel need huge work and renovation , staff are tough specially reception, rooms furnished inappropriately with very old and over used stuff No air condition , toilet and toiletries old and smelly, sink hard to open, when I complain about that they change the room in the second night to the renovated basement rooms where I felt I moved to new hotel , large with air condition room, clean and large toilet . I think all the rooms should be in this level as the stander one less than ⭐️.
Location is very good nearby every thing .

We are still staying at the hotel at the time of writing. We stayed in a double room, whilst the room is pretty basic, going by London's standard it is quite big enough to put 2/3 large suitcases. Similarly the toilet is basic but very functional, I would certainly stay here again if it's just the 2 of us. The main reason I would recommend is the accessibility, 2 tube stations and bus stops nearby plus a major British Railway station not too far away at Paddington.

Horrendous stay! Room had no air conditioning was hot as a sauna, fleas and insects in the room un helpful staff would definitely not recommend
T. V.
Great position, with transports, shops and restaurants at the doorstep.
The rooms are tiny and stark.
Nothing seemed to work, from the extractor fan to the shower and the power plugs.
Chilly drafts through the window and rude staff.

So I was at the bar drinking a beer at 12:00 and I felt like the boss of the hotel untill this guy ordered 2 vodka redbull and drank them both by himself and left I've never seen a alphaman like that?! Loved the hotel tho good service and clean rooms.
A. P.
The room was clean and comfortable but the temparature was too hot and we couldn't decrease it. The hotel is situated in a calm area near two underground stations, some bus stops and Hyde Park.
A. J.
I booked a room here for 2 nights. Rather than get to stay here, we were booted from the hotel due to a "pipe issue" and sent to a subpar "sister hotel" Royal Eagle for our 2 nights instead. Let's just say the sister hotel had various problems and In my eyes Central Park is ultimately responsible as they are the ones who put us to stay there. But of course Central Park gladly collecting their payment before shipping us off to worst off accommodations. Never again would I give Central Park my hard earned money.

Terrible attendance. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. I had a stolen a personal object and the hotel did absolutely nothing até all. I do not recommend!!

My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Central Park Hotel for two weeks. Arriving back in the UK last week was rather depressing after having such a great time! Kudret, the owner and head chef, makes you feel so welcome and will do anything for you during your stay there. The hotel's facilities are excellent, boasting a great sized pool, lovely rooms with all the mod cons and an excellent restaurant which presents great, reasonably priced food everyday. Kudret's menu is very extensive, providing a range of foods from local Turkish cuisine (which is fab) to a good old fillet steak and chips.

Ok for a night stay but nothing else. Toilet was not the best and was freezing cold
A. P.
Apart from some issues regarding the concierge assistanxe and rhe diminished attention provided from the front desk, rooms are clean and the location is really good, as it is close to 2 major underground stations, and next to the Hyde Park. That is my family's second time there and we noticed a decline in the general service provided. We would book them again, though.

This is one of the Worst hotels in London. They basically still charge you when you make your cancellation before the cancellation date. Do not believe anything that you read in regards to their cancellation policy. The hotel will not waive anything. Codene (Reservations Staff) is rude and not willing to assist. Also keep in mind the cancellation charge will be the first night cost and they are typically not willing to waive it. Central Park Hotel London will not work with you to waive this under any means.

Get the hell out of here as fast as you can! My room was in the basement. Humidity stains on the wall, noisy since 6am onwards due to hotel staff loud and careless chatting; and if that wasn't enough, a nauseating smell of sewer was coming up from the toilette. Enjoy your staying, somewhere else 😊
M. D. B.
Horrible! Disgusting! The carpet (in and out of the rooms) have probably never been cleaned.
Beware of the fact that they have refurbished -1 and -2 floors and if you get one of those rooms, not only you won’t have natural light but you’ll be hearing the underground (!!!!!) note that the tube runs all night on weekends. What more can I say?

Great location, multiple lifts, high COVID standards, 24/7 supermarket around the corner, spacious showers.

Double Room. Small and comfy but most importantly it was spotless. Strong force shower and comfy bed. Able to check in alot quicker, cheers for that. And parkings free on Sunday but affordable on the rest of the week. Coffee facilities in the room and free WiFi which is a bonus. Walk 15 mins to the famous Portobello Market, along the way there's Nandos,KFC,Tesco, McDonald's and many more restaurants and pastry shop for a quick bite. Further 5mins on Portobello Road and there's this delicious and fresh All you can eat Thai buffet for £8.95. Brown Rice Authentic Thai food. Don't forget to check it out. Overall a fantastic stay here.

Nice hotel, but you need to take the bus or tube to get to central London. Some restaurants in the area. Clean rooms of a decent size. Will consider this hotel on future trips.
