G. H.My husband and I stayed at the Citadines South Kensington London from 27 Aug 2021 to 30 Aug 2021 and it was one of our best experience in an Aparthotel.
The room was clean, with the perfect size for us and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed and the toilet and shower room were spotless.
In reception, the staff were friendly and the coffee machine was a great surprise for my husband, who cannot face the world without a propper coffee.
The location is the best you can have: Lots of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, metro, bus stops and rent-a-bikes to choose from.
And the reason why we choose this place: a walking distance from the museums and the Royal Albert Hall.
We found our home away from home while we visit London.
J. P.Nice apartment hotel in great part of London. Rooms were smallish but very practical and clean. Free coffee tea and water from the reception was good and there are plenty good food shops and restaurants within walking distance.
S. A.Overall, I had a great experience with the Citadines South Kensington Apathotel. The room was clean, very convenient for a family of 4 with a small kitchen. The staff were helpful. They went over and beyond to help. The location was the best thing, a walking distance to the museums, hyde park and Harold's and many middle eastern restaurants and groceries across the road. Highly recommend this Apathotel for anyone visiting London. The only downside is the washing and the dryer machine are old and not worth paying for it, consider doing your laundry outside the hotel.

We took the 1bdr appt. have the kids downstairs in the sofa bed and extra bed, and we sleep in the bedroom upstairs. Shower over bath and small kitchen. But mostly free coffee anytime from the lobby!

We were a short walk from Hyde Park, Gloucester Road station, the Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert. The rooms were clean and the kitchens more than sufficient. The staff were friendly. I would stay there again in a heartbeat
M. A.Lovely place to stay, very comfortable hotel. Wonderful with extremely helpful staff. Nice clean comfortable bed. Small clean kitchenette with two burners, microwave/ toaster/ oven, mini fridge and plates and cups and silverware. Perfect for a week or more stay. Nice closet. The little Partridges next door is convenient if your stomach doesn't do time changes well. The Waitrose is a bigger grocery store down the block right next to the Gloucester Road Station. Good location, next to nice shopping but a little ways away from the center of all the tourists stuff so it is quieter.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is been this business model is a combination of a hotel and renting a flat. So you do not receive cleaning services unless you request and pay an additional fee.
C. C.Citadines is 'alright'.
It was renovated a few years back and that's certainly made it a bit more modern and enjoyable, however the beds are still a bit worn out, the place is sort of dusty, generally it feels like a place where you can certainly spend a few days but you'll never catch your self feeling anything luxurious either.
The kitchen is large enough to prepare some basics, 2 stove tops, just enough space to move around in - and it is nice that all the basics are present.
The beds as I mentioned were once of good quality but are past their prime.
The noise factor is pretty good for a hotel like environment, the lobby is just fine and has complimentary coffee as you make your way out in the morning.
I have found the staff to be very helpful and pretty friendly - The room in which I'm spending a few weeks as I'm mid relocation from the US to the UK was missing some furniture and on prodding the staff they added the missing lamp and table within an hour or so. I also had some special requirements around the cat that is also staying in the apartment, and they were more then willing to come up with a custom cleaning schedule that makes life less stressful for the kitty.
So plenty of 'alright' mixed with a few goods. It wont leave you feeling spoiled, but if you need a super central location, you could do worse.

Service at the front desk was great providing advice on transport and attractions. I highly recommend staying at the Citadines South Kensington if you wish to have a worry-free vacation or visit while in London.

T. M.The studio apartment we had was on the smallish side but we are used to that in London. The rooms cannot be described as large but are an adequate size and somewhat expected for the UK. The Travel Company that arranged all the details for us did an excellent job. Nice size kitchenette with everything i could possibly need.

B.I highly recommend this place. I had a problem because a pickpocket stole my wallet. I went to the police station and they suggested me to send them a report by phone or email. At the hotel I asked Sokol at the reception: he helped me by talking to the police and giving them all the details they asked for. He was very very helpful and we are huge grateful to him. That's why we highly recommend this place. Of course, we'll return. Thanks so much, Sokol.
G. H.Lovely place to stay
Bathroom cleanliness could be improved , removing shower curtains and cleaning tiles .
Cleaner should come in to hoover rooms if guest stay more than a week as fluff and grit stay on the floor and could do with a quick clean up.
Let's dogs stay but there is nothing for a dog , no bed no toys no bowls no grass outside . So not great unless you fancy walking to the Kensington gardens everyday.
Bedding is comfortable however not great condition as many pillows and duvets are stained and have holes in , I even had a yellow stained pillow (supposed to be white ) which looked like someone had stabbed it several times :0
Citadines SHOULD supply a patch of grass outside for dogs and possibly blankets or beds for the dogs especially as you have to pay for them (even if they are small dogs who are non moulting!!).
Amenities that SHOULD be able to be asked for include - a baby gate , a clothes airer for people who want to dry there clothes naturally (me!). A few more glasses so you don't have to wash the 2provided every time you and your partner want a drink. A tall brush not a small brush that you have to crawl around with, so that you can sweep away any grit or dirt if the cleaner only comes in once a week.
Something I found highly annoying that there was no dish drying rack ! Even a pop up one would have helped as you have to use a tea towel to rest them all on and the other one to dry but I feel more towels needed or a rack .
However after all of these problems that occurred every week during the 6months I stayed here , the staff were wonderful polite and helpful especially Miguel , the facilities were good and the stay was relaxing . So I would suggest a stay here but you may have to plan a bit before coming to make sure you have everything you need for your rooms .

R.We stayed in an apartment on the 4th floor for 5 days and were really impressed with the facilities and found the location to be excellent as it was close to the underground public transport system and also restaurants, grocery stores and anything else you may require. Highly recommend this place.
T. M.We stayed in the Citadines for a few nights on a lay-over as a treat for our boys, who wanted to see the museums of London. Rooms are in good condition. Room size is good and we are glad that it was not noisy and were able to get good sleep.
T. M.I have to say this that the wall between apartments are not thick enough to cut noises from the next apartment. Contrary to some reviews I have read, our experience with the apartments and the staff in South Kensington were superb. The location was quiet despite being on a main street.

m. n.I HAVE JUST RECENTLY STAYED AT THE CITADINES AND ALTHOUGH IT WAS ONLY A ONE NIGHT STAY, I FOUND THE HOTEL ROOM TO BE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THE AMENITIES AS STATED. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, THE ONLY MINOR HICCUP WAS THE RESIDENT STAYING OPPOSITE MY ROOM THAT CONSISTENTLY BANGED THE DOOR TO HIS/HER ROOM WHENEVER - WHICH WAS DISTURBING WHEN YOU WERE TRYING TO SLEEP. I APPRECIATE THESE DOOR ARE SPRUNG BOUND, BUT THEY CAN BE CLOSED QUIETLY WITH CONSIDERATION TO OTHERS. I WOULD HOWEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. THE AREA WAS BRILLIANT FOR SHOPS AND AMENITIES.

A. G.(Translated) Very welcome, some staff are French, others speak French without problems. Rent an apartment with kitchen: the kitchen is clean and well equipped (with fridge, microwave, toaster ... And even a dishwasher!). The apartments are duplex.
Noise level, I'm pretty maniac above: nothing to report. The rooms are well soundproofed, even those overlooking Gloucester road.
Cleaning is not done every day in the apartments. You have to ask for it and pay it if you want it to be done regularly.
At the reception, we have a coffee machine, tea and hot chocolate self service.
There is a laundry room in the basement for laundry (expect £ 5 for a machine).

Très bon accueil, certains membres du personnel sont français, d'autres parlent français sans problème. Location d'un appartement avec cuisine : la cuisine est propre et bien équipée (avec frigo, micro onde, grille pain... Et même un lave vaisselle !). Les appartements sont en duplex.
Niveau bruit, je suis assez maniaque la dessus : rien à signaler. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées, même celles donnant sur Gloucester road.
Le ménage n'est pas fait chaque jour dans les appartements. Il faut le demander et le payer si on veut qu'il soit fait régulièrement.
À l'accueil, on a une machine à café, thé et chocolat chaud en libre service.
Il y a une laverie au sous sol pour le linge (prévoir 5£ pour une machine).

La ubicacion es muy buena,cerca de todo pero en un lugar tranquilo,con bares para desayunar y comer, almacen a una cuadra, metro a 3 cuadras que te lleva a todas partes.
Pague por 3 personas en un cuarto que era para dos,nos agregaron un catre, eso es lo unico que me parecio mal , la cocina muy bien,con todo lo necesario para cocinar.
El personal muy amable ,es de destacar.
En el subsuelo tiene lavadoras y secadoras ,esto es muy práctico !!
En la recepcion una maquina con cafe y chocolate caliente de cortesia.
