J. Y.I stayed there for two weeks. The room and private bathroom were relatively clean, but not really. The bed sheets and towels had stains for example, and the carpet on the floor was obviously not clean.
The first night I told the person who works there that my hot water kettle was not working, he told he he would take a look that day and if he doesn't I should just remind him. He never fixed it and I decided not to remind him.
They advertise daily cleaning which is a lie, I stayed there for two weeks and my room was not cleaned ONCE.
They will probably blame it on covid which is BS.
Also, you can hear every step anyone else takes in the building.
All in all, it's cheap and the location is good. I would definitely not recommend it though and will definitely not stay there again.
G. S.Nice, clean, great location. All the amenities such as hairdryer, kettle, TV, shampoo and shower gel. Very easy check in and check out. Simply but nicely decorated. One let down was that the shower drain was clogged, meaning the shower tray would fill up with water after about a 1 minute shower. Apart from this it was perfect.

N. S.Lovely little hotel just next to the tube. Conveniently located and close to the Tower Bridge, the London Hotel was surprisingly quiet and so much better than I expected.
The room was spacious and clean. The beddings were sublimely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern.
The only negative was the lack of lift to get your baggage up to your room. Although the lovely staff were ready to help. It's cheap compared to a lot of London hotels so it's worth considering.

During the evening a member of staff accidentally came into my room, the team were very quick to apologise and offered a free breakfast, a touch you wouldn't get at many other hotels.

The small hotel was very comfortable, beds really good and I had a great night's sleep. Situated above a cafe and next to borough underground station I wasn't too sure about the location when I first arrived. But I was greeted by a lovely lady who was very welcoming, helpful and the place was great. Great customer service and great value for money.
T. L.Amazing hotel for a great price. We did the shared bathroom which was super clean and very accessible. Perfect location for exploring the city. The only issues were it was a bit warm inside and the walls were a bit thin.

R. L.CityHotel could be rated as Astoundingly Okay. If all you need is a cabin to sleep in, look no further. CityHotel of clean, affordable and tiny. Oh, and the toilet/shower is down the hall. The bed is comfortable and the shower (down the hall) has even pressure and temperature. But it is definitely no luxury establishment.
The noise from the street, and the church bells, will probably wake you up in the morning if you aren't a deep sleeper. The open window is your air conditioning.
The hotel is quite literally on top of the Borough underground station and it's of walking distance to the Thames, so the location is convenient enough.
The hotel is connected with the City Cafe and there's a fairly nice pub just next door. So, it's not for everybody, but it's alright.
V. B.We needed a place to stay the night since a gig finish time meant we would miss the last train home. We found this hidden gem in the City. The location was ideal, right next to Borough tube station, and walking distance to London Bridge and other key stations. Despite the busy location, I wasn't awoken by any noise. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite and chirpy. Nice to see a smiling face in London! The price was very reasonable for the area and what you get. I would definitely stay again.

10 minute walk from the South Bank including Vinolopis, Clink Museum & the Golden Hind. Only a further 5 minutes to Southwick Cathedral and Borough Market (a must for foodies)
No restaurant, but literally next door is Cafe Riva who do a full English breakfast to rival the best offered by a top rural guest house.
I think it is fair to say that my wife and I enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to when we return.
C. V.Literally next to the underground station, very close to the borough market. Excellent location and price. The layout is a little weird, we walked through the cafe to get to the room. The room was comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom was awesome.

J. M.Was this the best hotel I have ever stayed at? No. But this was by far the best hotel for the price I have paid.
When booking the hotel, the bad reviews left me a bit worried whether I made the right choice. But when arriving at the hotel, all worries were gone. Lucas, the receptionist is a really kind guy!
We checked in four hours earlier than the actual check-in time allowed. They were so kind as to give us another room that was ready as the initial room planned for us was still being cleaned.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. On our last day in London, we were even allowed to leave our bags in our room past check.out time.
We had a bedroom with a bathroom ensuite and it was great, everything we needed was right there. Bathroom was also fairly clean.
I can really recommend staying here and I am hoping to return soon!
G. S.(Translated) Overall, it is located in a convenient area for those who not only need to be a tourist but must travel by train, metro and bus. The hotel is quaint, and the staff are always available at any time.
One thing that really perplexed me the first time was the very narrow stairs, so if you intend to stay for a long time with a very bulky luggage maybe don't even go through the front door ... For all the others I must say that I found the rooms clean and always well served. I found the bathroom small to be in a double room, but it is still doable.
The hotel offers breakfast from the bar just below the hotel, so just go out the door of the hotel and less than half a centimeter there is already the door of the bar ready to welcome you for all the meals requested.
Even there the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast served is modern English, so nothing strange.

Nel complesso è situato in una zona comoda per chi non ha solo bisogno di fare il turista ma deve spostarsi con treno, metro e bus. L'hotel è caratteristico, e il personale è sempre disponibile a qualunque ora.
Una cosa che mi ha lasciata davvero perplessa la prima volta sono state le scale strettissime, quindi se avete intenzione di soggiornare a lungo con un bagaglio molto ingombrante forse non superate nemmeno la porta d'ingresso ... Per tutti gli altri invece devo dire che le camere le ho trovate pulite e sempre ben servite. Il bagno l'ho trovato piccolo per essere in una stanza doppia, ma è comunque fattibile.
L'hotel offre la colazione del bar subito sotto all'hotel, quindi basta uscire dalla porta dell'hotel e a meno di mezzo centimetro c'è già la porta del bar pronta ad accogliervi per tutti i pasti richiesti.
Anche li il personale è gentile e disponibile, la colazione servita è modern english, quindi nulla di strano.

Let op als het warm is dan heb je geen airco vanaf de tweede etage. Wij hadden een kamer op de bovenste etage en was niet uit te houden. Personeel is niet opvallend vriendelijk. Ze doen er in ieder geval niets aan om je thuis te voelen. Plus punten zijn centrale ligging, direct naast de Underground, pub en de kamer was ruim en netjes.

The location was great, the breakfast in the breakfast restaurant under the hotel just great and the tube station right there. It is not better for a city trip to London. Only the double bed in the room was a bit narrow. But that did not really bother me. Everything else was just good. Everything was clean, the service 1a and the tip in the evening a bit further afield at Kennington Tandori was just great.

Ich war mit meiner Familie im Familienzimmer für 3 Nächte. Es war einfach toll. Die Lage war super, das Frühstück im Frühstücksrestaurant unterm Hotel einfach super und die Tube-Station direkt dabei. Besser geht es nicht für einen City-Trip nach London. Lediglich das Doppelbett in dem Zimmer war etwas schmal. Aber das hat auch nicht richtig gestört. Alles andere war einfach nur gut. Alles war sauber, der Service 1a und der Tipp abends etwas weiter weg im Kennington Tandori essen zu gehen war einfach super.

The bathroom in the corridor only the sink in the room. On the plus side, cleanliness and a shop opposite and two bars downstairs, although in one, prices are probably exaggerated.
No air conditioning and the window facing the street does not encourage airing the room.
The price of the room plus parking is completely inadequate to the quality. On the plus side, I will add that a 15-minute walk to Tower Bridge.

Brak parking (dodatkowo płatny na przeciw budynku na ulicy obok). Wejście schody i korytarz wąski więc nie polecam na wycieczki z małymi dziećmi. Łazienka w korytarzu jedynie umywalka w pokoju. Na plus czystość i sklep na przeciw oraz dwa bary na dole choć w jednym ceny chyba zdrowo przesadzone.
Brak klimatyzacji a okno wychodzące na ulicę nie zachęca do wietrzenia pokóju.
Cena pokoju plus parking kompletnie nie adekwatna do jakości. Na plus dodam że 15min piechota spacerkiem do Tower Bridge.
C.(Translated) Structure next to the subway therefore in a truly strategic position, about 5 minutes walk from London Bridge. The structure does not catch the eye because it is really small (19 rooms in total) .. Steep and uncomfortable staircase with 4 floors in total .. I found the room very comfortable and above all very clean. The reception is 24 hours a day and it is also possible to leave your luggage in the structure even after check-out in case you want to remain free from weights during the day.

Struttura a fianco della metropolitana quindi veramente in una posizione strategica, a 5 minuti a piedi circa da London Bridge. La struttura non balza all'occhio poiché veramente piccola (19 stanza in totale).. Scala ripida e scomoda con 4 piani in totale.. La stanza l'ho trovata comunque comodissima e soprattutto molto pulita. La reception è h24 e inoltre che la possibile di lasciare i bagagli in struttura anche dopo il check-out in caso si voglia restare liberi da pesi durate la giornata.

Gutes Hotel mit schmalen Eingang, die Zimmer sind aber einwandfrei und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage direkt über einer U-Bahnstation ist natürlich optimal. Gibt genug Kaffee (und Tee) im Zimmer zum aufgiessen und nicht nur die sonst übliche Ration pro Person. Top.

Nous avions réservé une chb avec sdb et avons eu une chb sans sdb, pb au moment de la réservation apparemment.... le 1er jour nous avons eu droit a des bouteilles d'eau, du thé et du café, par contre plus rien les jours suivants. Apartment 52: a few meters from the reception, this apartment on the twelfth and last floor (so with a beautiful view of the SOUTHWARK district, where we can also see LONDON EYE and BIG BEN) we have agreed! The building does not look, but the place is very clean and the apartment very new. It is quiet, functional and has a kitchen. It was a pleasure to stay there!
Good location: very good restaurants nearby (Lebanese, Italian ...) and a supermarket and BOROUGHT MARKET. The BOROUGHT metro station (direct line from St. Pancras) is only a short walk from the hotel.
Good home simple and pro.

Bon rapport qualité prix.
Appartement 52 : à quelques mètres de la réception, cet appartement au douzième et dernier étage (donc avec très belle vue sur le quartier de SOUTHWARK, où nous pouvons aussi apercevoir LONDON EYE et BIG BEN) nous a amplement convenu ! L'immeuble ne paie pas de mine, mais les lieux sont très propres et l'appartement très neuf. Il est calme, fonctionnel et possède une cuisine équipée. C'était un plaisir d'y séjourner !
Bon emplacement : de très bons restaurants à proximité (libanais, italiens...) ainsi qu'une supérette et BOROUGHT MARKET. La station de métro de BOROUGHT (ligne direct depuis St. Pancras) est seulement à quelques pas de l'hôtel.
Bon accueil simple et pro.
