I booked for a standard double room, and we got a room with a double bed and one extra bed, I was really surprised. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The size of the room didn't bother me as I stayed there for 2 days. The price is reasonable. The hotel is well located and literally 5 min away from Clapham South station. Really enjoyed my stay! Would happily go back.
Also I didn't hear any noise in the room, bear in mind that the hotel is located next to a busy street. The only little thing is that the floor creaks when people walk but again it's a Victorian property so it didn't bother me.
J. K.This is a budget hotel. As long as you get an up stairs room you'll be fine. The bathroom is small but the sink is so low you can't brush your teeth. It's clean, friendly staff. Excellent position for the tube into center. The common is glorious
M. V.I do not think it's as bad as it's rated here. To sleep, watch some Tv and stay there for a little while it's absolutely okay. It could be difficult for people with a good amount of suitcases etc., because the rooms are definitely small. Plus it is easy to reach with the underground.
All in all a good place to stay, if you want to have an easy reachable place to sleep at night.

Rooms were small, simple but clean and fresh, housekeeping were efficient and helpful, although 1 star off because the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, however the price of the room we were happy with and made for a good base to explore London from which is all we really needed. Our overall experience was positive with staff and everyone else in the hotel.
T. A.Most of the staff is quite helpful (at first I got a really bad room, but they did their best to change me to a better one), however the quality of the rooms leave to be desired. My coat rack just fell down, my sheets were dirty even after 4 days of asking them to change it (at some point they just inverted it). In the end you get what you paid for, as the neighborhood is amazing.
W. A.Stayed here for 4 days, very clean hotel, polite and courteous staff. Rooms are on the small side but adequate for your needs. Beds are clean and rooms are serviced daily with clean towels. The full English breakfast is really good and excellent value for money at only £7 per person which you pay for daily if required. All in all a really good stay, would definitely come back again.

J. B.5 stars based on value for money. Rooms are clean, comfortable, adequately sized and functional. Street parking is easy and free of charge after 6pm and at weekends. Hotel staff are friendly.
The hotel is well located. 2 minutes walk from Clapham South underground station.

It's a very pretty place, clean, near bus stop and tube and the staff is very professional and kind!
Unfortunately something in the room was broken and the electric kettle didn't work very well.

F. F.Okay hotel, very noisy near the side of the road. Rooms were quite small for the price, but it's London prices so can't complain too much. You have to pay for WiFi which can get expensive. Staff were nice though and if you are just looking for a roof over your head for one night then it's not too bad.
B. C.We spend 7 days in this hotel. Ours impressions are positives. The personals were very polite and friendly (special the young girls Laura and Diana). They gave us many usefully informations. The hotel is close to a tube and bus stations. We met the owner, who is very preoccupied to increase the conditions in his proprieties.
K. C.I paid £35 for a ensuite twin room (toilet and shower). The room was clean and cosy, had a built-in wardrobe, hair dryer, and coffee/tea available. Wifi and breakfast is at an additional cost.
The hotel is in short walking distance from local shops, pubs, the park and public transport.
They were renovating the hotel at the time, but that didn't really harm the experience. Great value for money if you're on a budget.

B. V.Extremely small rooms, but otherwise ok and close to the Underground station. Good for a weekend trip. What I did not like was that I had to pay 3 Pounds just to leave my luggage there before the room was ready. That's a rip off.

M. S.This has a good location and the rooms come cheap, but that's about all that's going for this place. It looks like the Fawlty Towers of London from the inside. The rooms are tiny, and if you are claustrophobic, do not even think about going in for a single room. WiFi works in some rooms and doesn't at all in some others. If you are on a shoestring budget and need a place just for a couple of nights which is not that far from central London, you may consider this, otherwise, uh not really.

Personally, the experience wasn't that bad despite all the bad reviews. Sure the room was quite small, but there was enough space to put the suitcases. Good cleaning and change of sheets and towels every day.
One of the two shelves on the sides of the bed was supported by the same, almost completely detached from the wall, as were various other rather ugly details that could be noticed around the room, which however remain rather harmless details.
We slept well, a little noise from upstairs but nothing extraordinary.
Slight drafts from the windows but we were fine.
Very hot shower: even at minimum the water was quite hot, fortunately bearable.
For the rest, the room was discreetly equipped: TV, fan, soaps, hairdryer, kettle. There is no Wi-Fi except for a fee.
I can't tell you if there is air conditioning.
The person who received us was precise and friendly.
The price was great on the date of the order.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui dal 16 Agosto fino alla mattina del 22.
Personalmente l'esperienza non è stata così negativa nonostante tutte le recensioni poco positive. Sicuramente la stanza era piuttosto piccola, ma c'era abbastanza spazio per appoggiare le valigie. Pulizia buona e cambio lenzuola e asciugamani tutti i giorni.
Una delle due mensole ai lati del letto era sorretta dallo stesso, quasi completamente distaccata dal muro, come vari altri particolari un po' brutti che si notavano a giro per la stanza, che comunque rimangono dettagli piuttosto innocui.
Si dormiva bene, un po' di rumore dal piano di sopra ma nulla di trascendentale.
Leggeri spifferi dalle finestre ma siamo stati bene.
Doccia molto calda: anche al minimo l'acqua risultava piuttosto calda, per fortuna sopportabile.
Per il resto la stanza era accessoriata discretamente: TV, ventilatore, saponi, phon, bollitore. Non c'è Wi-Fi se non a pagamento.
Non so dirvi se c'è aria condizionata.
La persona che ci ha ricevuti è stata precisa e cordiale.
Il prezzo era ottimo alla data dell'ordine.

Habitación pequeña, decorada con un gusto dudoso y sin apenas ventilación. Baño decente. Nos advirtieron de que la zona no era muy recomendable, pero nosotros no tuvimos ningún problema. Hay bares y restaurantes decentes alrededor, y la parada del metro está a pocos minutos. Si lo único que buscas es un lugar para dormir, es perfecto.

Avis donne sur une chambre trois lits simples. Chambre propre, peu spatieuse, matelas très mous, un peu petit en longueur. Une odeur d'humidité persistante. La salle de bain ne suffirait pas d'une brosse a toilette, qui le semble indispensable pour une vie normale en communauté... Bref hôtel pas cher qui vaut son prix.

Wir waren drei Tage in London. Hotel für seinen Preis vollkommen ok. Eigenes Badezimmer, sauber und das Bett schlief sich gut. Zentral gelegen. Was will man mehr. Einen kleinen Nachteil gibt es und zwar liegt das Hotel direkt an einer Hauptsstraße, hat uns persönlich nicht gestört da wir vom Tag so platt waren das wir Abends gleich eingeschlafen sind und nichts gehört haben. Zusammengefasst würde ich wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Buona qualità prezzo. Stanza situata nel sottoscala un po umida senza finestra discreta se non si deve permanere all'interno per troppo tempo. Biancheria e pulizia camere giornaliero. Bollitore con caffe e the illimitati in camera. Posizione ottima 5 min dalla fermata metropolitana e 3min da quella dei bus. Colazione a buffet a 5 pound nella struttura adiacente non male. Accoglienza albergo un po fredda ma accettabile. 5 pound adattatore spina.

I booked along with 2 friends of mine a triple room that we would be served only to sleep .. We had no great pretensions but the room was really small (we could not even move). The thing that bothered me was the lack of a closet (we stayed for 5 days with clothes inside the suitcase) and there was not even room to put your luggage.
However, we didn't find it terribly bad. Friendly staff, good breakfast (for a fee) and nice facility.

Posizione fantastica a 5 min dalla stazione di Clapham south. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.. Ma mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Ho prenotato insieme a 2 mie amiche una camera tripla che ci sarebbe servita solo per dormire.. Non avevamo grandi pretese ma la stanza era veramente piccola (non riuscivamo nemmeno a muoverci). La cosa che mi ha dato più fastidio era l'assenza di un armadio (siamo rimaste per 5 giorni con i vestiti dentro la valigia) e non c'era nemmeno lo spazio per appoggiare i bagagli.
Ad ogni modo, non ci siamo trovate malissimo. Personale cordiale, buona colazione (a pagamento) e bella struttura.
