W. H.The night staff on the 19th of December were really accommodating to a young family. We were able to access parking outside the hotel which was an unexpected luxury in London. They got us processed quickly at reception and the family room was well put together and very comfortable.

And, I was not expecting that someone would come, and clean up the room due to pandemic reasons. But they did! They made sure that our room is clean. The breakfast was amazing. Located in a quiet neighbourhood with a variety of rooms at various prices, there should be something for everyone. Lifts are available too making it accessible.
The room we had was small but comfortable, with well maintained facilities. Expect the usual and you won't be disappointed.
The included breakfast was a good continental style with plenty of options.
With 24 hour desk service and very helpful staff I would recommend this quite comfortable hotel as a good play to stay.
The building itself is fun too.
Things could be a little cleaner in areas and some of the rooms are a little small, but everything feels good, so it has many more positives than negatives.

On my visit I was initially placed in a room where the plug sockets didn't work. The receptionist swiftly allocated another room on the ground floor however it had something like a generator in it. It hummed constantly so was a bit of a disturbance. In the morning our towels were changed but our cups weren't clean from the coffee bar.
V. R.We had a lovely stay. The staff were considerate and helpful, the rooms were large and clean, and the location was very beautiful and convenient. We were able to enjoy Hyde Park very easily and were just steps away from Paddington Train Station.

K.Perfect hotel option with room for our party of 4. Those commenting on how small the rooms are haven't traveled much throughout Europe. They are perfectly fine and standard. Quiet area and a 3 minute walk to the Paddington underground.

We stayed 2 nights and leaved our luggage once in the front desk.
We met no issue, everything went marvelously well.
It is very well located:
3 minutes from Paddington rail station/subway, 15 minutes by the Tube to Farrington, which has trains to Luton and Gatwick (36 min of travel), 25 minutes by walk to oxford street.
There is a Waitrose and a Tesco next to the and many pharmacies around. Also, lots of restaurants and fast-foods around.
The place is not so noisy and the road in front of the property is quite nice.
The room is excellent:
The bed is comfortable, the pillows a bit harder than the usual, but very comfortable. Everything is clean, the cleaning team is very effective.
The room is not to narrow and has the commodity needed: TV, shelfs and teas (because it's England!)
The bathroom is very good:
Not narrow at all, clean and work nicely.
The service is top level:
The front desk is so nice and helpful. Thanks again to be that great.
Also, there is possibility to leave the luggage in a secured place, with a ticket system to take them back (and not getting them stolen)
Breakfast was OK:
There is enough choices. A good continental breakfast but we could use a bit more types of breads ans sugary stuff. I really liked the service still. It was worth it. Room can be a bit noisy, but it is not unbearable.

My son had made the arrangements and was disappointed also since he was treating me to my first trip outside of the U.S. and it was our first night. Staff nice, not overly friendly.

Look: We got a room that was refurbished but still looked very dated. The hotel lobby and surrounding areas appears to be stuck in the 80’s. Having said that, you get what you pay for and it wasn’t at all a problem for us.
Cleanliness: very good and the housekeeping staff took pride in their work and were very friendly.
Room: was fortunate to have a room that was accessible by lift and facing away from traffic, so it was quiet and convenient.
The room is also decently sized, and the toilets not too small, so it was pretty good! The beds are also very very comfortable and which ensured a good night’s sleep.
Breakfast: Decent. Again the staff in charge took pride in her work. You’ll get croissants, 2 or 3 types of fruit, cheese, olives, bread & jam/honey, and coffee from a coffee dispenser with different types of coffee.
Service: Excellent!
Check In/Check Out: Very easy and convenient. They were so accommodating and let us store our luggage and sit at the lounge until our departure from the hotel.
Location: Excellent! Close to a number of restaurants and transportation was a breeze to

Value for money: Extremely value for money. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel for what you’re paying but its well worth the price.
C. P.Good size room for the location and the price. Tiny bathroom but it had all you might need in an en-suite. Really close to Hyde Park which was great. The immediate neighborhood felt a little bit sketchy to us but we didn't have any problem with anyone. It's also a little hard to find a good place to eat nearby as there weren't many good choices in the area. Breakfast was good, continental, plenty to choose from. Overall, we were pleased with this hotel as our base camp for our London trip.

It's less than a 5 minute walk from Paddington station which is a hub for many other lines plus the Heathrow Express leaves every 15-20 minutes. There are cafes and pubs nearby as well. The place is clean and well kept. The rooms are small but tidy. My sister and I both had large suitcases. There is a place for one large suitcase to be set down and opened. We had to use the bed to have enough room to open my sister's too. The room can hold about two large suitcases and maybe a couple rolling carry-on type bags. There is a hairdryer and two mirrors. The room also has a safe. The breakfast is good. There was a coffee maker that had various types of coffees including a hot chocolate option. There were hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, many different cereals, breads, croissants, and fresh fruits. Check in was very easy. We had let them know what time we would be coming and the room was ready when we needed it. There's a small bar that serves various drinks and cocktails for purchase. My sister and I came back with some soup and sandwiches from Pret A Manger and asked if we could sit at the tables and chairs in the bar area and they said no problem. The price was okay, I would have liked to pay less, but this is downtown London. For the location and convenience, it was well worth the money.

Staff were all very accommodating and helpful. Parking is £20 a day and is right outside the front of the hotel. My biggest gripe was the breakfast - a pretty lacklustre continental selection.

I used Wyndham rewards points for my booking, so I cannot tell you of the cash value of the stay, but it was as expected for the area.
The breakfast was reasonable, toast, jam, coffee, yogurt, etc. Fair sized dining room.
A. B.The hotel is one of many in Paddington between the station and Hyde Park. They are all in grand old buildings and vary in quality. Often constrained the architecture of the buildings. They are all expensive, but that is London. Prices vary from day to day for the same accommodation, sometimes by a factor of 4.
So this hotel is just pretty average for the area. Staff pleasant and friendly. Rooms small. Bathroom clean and modern. WiFi OK, but 4G is also good.

r.This was our second stay. The hotel is small but is in a great location three blocks from Paddington Station. Hyde Park is a short walk away. Underground stations are nearby which makes travel around the city simple

Only gripe is the A/C doesn't always work. you have to complain several times to get them to turn it on at the front desk. It's a real pain.

Hotel is located within 10 minutes walking distance to Paddington station and 40 minutes taxi drive from London Heathrow Airport. Rooms are on the small side as to be expected as was the bathroom but that was not an issue at all. They offer breakfast that is nothing special, but always fresh items and the morning staff always staying on top of the items. Good housekeeping room was clean.
There is a small lounge/ Bar in the lobby to which you can buy a beer or cocktail at the time you desire. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for location and fair pricing with a good over all experience...
D. M.What can I say about this place? Firstly, the room was very tiny like a rat hole. We struggled to enter and move around in the room as there was little space in it. The room was also very hot and we couldn't manage to turn down the heating. We were literally sweating and the room was very stuffy.
Secondly, the bed was so uncomfortable my 2 year old son couldn't sleep. I couldn't wait for morning to come as it felt like we were sleeping on springs.
Thirdly, the coffee mug in the room was dirty and unwashed from previous use, quite disgusting. Let's not even talk about the "breakfast", that was a complete joke.
I could go on and on but it definitely wasn't worth the amount paid.
The only positive things about this place are

Absolutely the WORST check-in experience of my life, and an over-all bad experience and I'm almost 50, so I've stayed in quite a few hotels. Let me share my story: I booked this hotel six months ago via my usual booking website, which is how I always book. Our bank converted from MasterCard to Visa since the booking. I've updated payment information and have a correct mobile number as well as e-mail in my booking profile because we take quite a few weekend trips. One week before our trip to London my husband suggested we stay an additional night. I contacted Days Inn Hyde Park through the booking website, and also emailed the hotel directly. I got a quick response confirming the extra night and an updated total. We arrived a couple hours before check-in and asked if our room might be ready or should we store our luggage. The man at the desk took our surname and told us the room wasn't ready. No worries; we stored our luggage and set off for the afternoon. Later we walked back to check-in. The "gentleman" (please note the inverted commas I'm using here) at the front desk, possibly the manager, told us "There's a slight problem. Your booking has been cancelled. We ran your credit card, a MasterCard ending in ___ and it was declined. We tried running it five times so we've cancelled your booking." He was VERY rude and in front of other guests as he scolded us about not having correct info. Now please remember, they were able to contact me in order to extend my booking, yet ironically, when there was an issue with payment, I heard absolutely nothing; they simply cancelled our booking. I've never felt so embarrassed as he spoke to us like we were attempting to defraud a hotelier. My husband and I both attempted to explain what had happened with our bank, but he wouldn't quit talking over us as he continually treated us like we were running a scam. We were finally put in a room with two beds, which wasn't what I had booked. I truly have never had someone in reception treat me as this man did and it was horrifying. Never when we passed reception during our two night stay were we greeted. When it was time to check-out all this "gentleman" said to us was "Room number?" He's truly a horrible man in his condescending treatment of us. We will NEVER stay here again nor suggest it. Everything about our experience was maddening. The beds were uncomfortable. There was only shower gel and hand soap as far as toiletries; no lotion, shower cap, etc., and lots of standing water in the shower. Also the basin completely filled with water as I brushed my teeth. It was a dreadfully, uncomfortable room. Do NOT stay at this hotel; Never, ever.

How was it: Well, it was a slight step up from our previous experience in London but not by that much. We visited before booking because we thought it would be much better. They put us in this room in the ''basement'' which was very humid and the smell in the room was very bad.
The cheaper alternatives for hotels in London are not very ideal. It's an expensive city, period !
One thing we will consider the next time we visit will be Airbnb, hopefully this will help.

Recommend: Well, it can be your safety net backup plan. The location is quite good and you may get a better room than we did.

C. A.Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I would only recommend to a hated enemy.
The bed was the worst part, worn out and lumpy, with an obvious dip in the middle. I would have slept on the floor if there was enough room, but there was not.
The pillows seemed to be made of rock, while the single window acted as a speaker, amplifying every sound of the street.
The bathroom was smaller than seemingly possible, with a toilet only a little person could comfortably sit upon, and a broken shower door which allowed water to fill the floor. Luckily, perhaps purposefully, there was a drain.
The towel dryer did not work, but it was nice to know that it once was useful.
The lobby smelled like cigarettes, always, and the staff were a mixed bag. The man who greeted us forced us to pay for the room before seeing the condition of the room. We would have left right away, but had no recourse. When we asked to change rooms, we were met with a cold stare and shrug. Thank you Rajan, for the warm welcome.
Breakfast was supplied, the quality of which changed daily.
The only saving grace was decent toilet paper, a welcome surprise.
