B. B.A really nice comfortable place for a stay in London, in an architectural milestone building. The two-rooms flat was quite big, very functional, and very well maintained. The gym is big, nice, not really crowded, and open for some 16h/day, there is a sauna for 4-6 persons, also free for guests, fresh towels included. The pool is cute, rather small (some 20m) and closed because of pandemics, should be for free, too. The kitchenette has everything for a short and even longer stay, cutlery, dishes, water boiler, fridge, microwave, ceramic heat plate, some cooking accessories, if you really want to prepare something to eat/drink and/or store some food. The sockets are fit also for continental plugs, at least for the light ones like for mobile phones rechargers. One TV set per room, but have not tried them. Other then in most of the hotels you will find more than enough hangers in the two wardrobes. Complete ironing facilities in the flat, and of course a safe box. Staff really nice and helpful.

T. M.Fantastic apartments with a great location for exploring the city. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was serviced everyday and to a high standard. The local facilities are great. The room was quite hot and even with a fan and the window open we struggled a bit bit that was the only downside. The rooms itself was comfortable and large even being in a studio apartment there was plenty of room for two people. Great place to stay and look forward to going back.
R. H.Stayed in these apartments in August 2021. A fantastic stay. They very kindly upgraded us on check in without us asking. Apartment was spotless and very spacious. Generous with toiletries and towels. Kitchen was very well stocked with all utensils you could need. Lovely swimming pool and gym onsite. Great central location and community gardens just outside for a morning or evening walk. Friendly, attentive staff. I would highly recommend and will return!

However we had our dog with us. There was nothing in the booking form to say we would hav3 to pay a extra £150 for the dog, for a three night stay.
This was due to extra carpet cleaning.
Our dog is a cockapoo. He does not smell, or shed hair. He is fully house trained, so does not soil the carpet , or chew anything.
So I was charged £150 for what? No extra cleaning was needed!!
I suggest rooms are checked before people who have dogs check out. If there is damage then charge that fee.
I would be very interested to know what the £150 was used for.
I have done a review before this, and it hasn’t come up on trip advisor. I wonder why!!
All in all we had a pleasant stay, but it was ruined by being made to pay this charge. We feel we have been ripped off.

Breakfast ...well not what we were looking for. Delivered in a box 7.45 Sunday morning. Croissant, slice of bread, apple n cheese. Orange juice was nice. coco pops in a small box...ahhh no milk.
Pool looked lovely, but didnt use it.

S.We stayed here the 2nd week of November for our Honeymoon we arrived late Saturday night which wasn't a problem , reception was very friendly and helpful,the rooms were clean and tidy and the room was serviced every day it had everything we needed for our stay the bed was so comfortable that we both slept straight through every night.The only downside was we were in between the 2 lifts which both squeaked when going up and down lol. But Dolphin is in the ideal place to get around 5 mins from the tube or even for walking which we did alot, we would recommend highly and will be returning before our anniversary stay for another visit to our great City ,but we will be upgrading from a Studio to a one bedroom apartment just for that extra treat.

W. M.Booked an apartment for an overnight stay. Excellent location just outside the congestion zone charge. Very close to Pimlico tube station and close to Westminster and London Eye area. Very good value for money. Friendly staff.

G. P.Couldn’t recommend Dolphin Square more! All the staff are really helpful, amazing facilities in terms of the pool, gym, tennis/squash courts and classes, and all for a reasonable price within zone 1.
Unlike usual private landlords, they’re flexible on move in dates. This means you avoid the dreaded double paying for rent which usually occurs when moving houses.
They also ‘touch the properties up’ before you move in so it feels like a brand new home.
E. H.I am very happy with my flat! The lettings team, Alberto in particular, were really accommodating with my move in dates and found me a perfect flat at a really good price. The flat is brilliant, they completely do up the rooms when new people move in so everything is freshly painted and brand new. It's also very quiet and you get to meet some very interesting people around the place, I don't plan on moving out for a long time! :)

Restaurant was shut so we were gutted when we went down for a dinner but ubereats delivered Nice food straight to our apartment door. Breakfast not bad value for the price. Would recommend.

Taking your gin and tonic into the lovely well planted and serenely quiet gardens is a great place to unwind. The Gym and pool facilities are very good

岩.The apartment is as good as a first class hotel. Good location. It has a professional 24/7 reception, daily housekeeping and towel change and even room service. The reception staff were always ready to help guests and housekeepers willing to accommodate guest needs, which was really exceptional when other hotels had only limited services during lockdown. We felt very safe and at home there.
The room is very spacious with lots of sunshine. The bed is large and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything essential except a sponge. There was nothing I could blame in the room. Just one thing: I had to ask for a sponge to wash dishes, which was politely declined first by the reception, but the housekeeper understood my inconvenience and gave me one. Thank you!!! It would be good if the management ensures that these details are taken care of in apartments.
R. v. P.We contacted Dolphin Square about viewing any available apartments, and Alberto was extremely helpful and efficient. We were able to view some apartments that same day and also come back a few days later to see some more. Overall our experience as been welcoming and easy. We have moved in and were able to do everything quickly.
Alberto was able to answer all my questions in regards to the apartment(s), the building and the facilities, and he was greeted by the residents as we viewed the properties.

A.Stayed for a weekend break which included parking and was the really the best value for money in the peak of July summer season. Cheaper than any other room I could find.
Apartments are a nice size with good double bed, decent shower and small kitchen.
The pool was kept well and clean when we visited. We ate out every nigh, but stopped for lunch one day at the on site restaurant and it was very good food. They also have gym and some local on site shops which is handy if you want some milk for tea etc.
Overall an excellent place for a weekend stay in London especially with the free parking. Would stay again and recommend.
R. S.We stayed here for a week leading up to Christmas, and would certainly stay again if in London. The apartment is just around the corner from the tube which made it very easy to get around (except Christmas Day where the whole transport network closes, so we just walked...it is fairly close). We enjoyed the apartment over a hotel as it gave us space. Apartment is modern, spacious and clean, but the pillows were a bit lumpy and hard. Breakfast was included in our stay which was a great option.

P. B.Our stay at Dolphin Serviced Apartments was great from start to finish. We were able to leave our bags when we arrived early and were even upgraded to a suite with a seperate sitting area upon our later arrival back to the hotel. The staff were very professional, cheerful and helpful. As for the rooms, they were large, clean, comfortable (beds were wonderful with lots of pillows!) and had all the amenities to allow you to prepare meals if you desired to. Right within the complex were two small convenient stores, a pool with a sauna and steam room, gym with workout classes and a spa. We tried the pool and sauna and both were very nice. Also on site was a restaurant, but as there are so many great pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area we opted to eat outside of the apartments. There is also a nice outdoor sitting area with a fountain behind the complex. The best thing about the hotel is how it is centrally located to visit the different parts of London by foot or by metro. Only negative is that we only stayed for two days and wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

Nice but basic one bedroom living. Tiny kitchen area but not a problem as only wanted to make hot drinks and have a fridge. Apartments with cooking facilities were available if had requested one.

Small restaurant area where breakfast was served. Very dissapointed with the staff as poor customer service each morning. We had to find cutlery ourselves and sharing toast with our neighbouring table.
Even charged us for having extra guests which wasn't true. Had that removed from our final bill.

M.I have been a resident at Dolphin Square for a few years now and I must say the service they offer is impressive. Recently, I moved flat and Natalia from the lettings team has honestly been a star! She’s helped throughout the whole process, with her professionalism and kindness. I couldn’t have asked for a better agent! Moreover, the gardens are always well taken care of and security is always around to make you feel safe. It’s like living in the perfect place! Highly recommend it.

G. P.We loved staying in their 2 bedroom delux apartment. It was excellent. Decent size for the location and price. Well equipped with all you’d expect in an hotel apartment. Great having the shops on the ground floor, especially the laundromat and general store. Excellent pool and gym. Nice being close to the river and public transport. Many of the popular sights are within half an hour walk. Felt safe walking around the area, even at night. The restaurant is ok for a meal if arriving late and don’t feel up to searching around, but not a good option otherwise. Need to lift their game for breakfast.

C. X.I have lived in a garden-facing flat in Dolphin Square for two years and half. It is a tranqil residence amid the hectic London.
Some reasons to recommend:

2. Responsive service when something needs be fixed
3. Sufficient heating service
4. On site gym with trainers, arcade, garden and restaurant provide all you need.
5. Low council tax and electricity bill.
Very suitable for the tenants who have clear living duration.

S. T.Stayed here on a work trip to London and it was perfect. So much cheaper than hotels and we had our own kitchen which was wonderful. They have a great gym and even a laundry room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was a bit dated, but the location was awesome for access to London transit.
Excellent availability of food whether buying to cook in the apartment or whether eating out.
They do have longer term leases available and the value for money is pretty good.
M. S.problem 1: no air conditioning. we were there in July. the fan is good but does not do the trick. go elsewhere in warm or moderate weather b/c the rooms heat up alot during the day,
problem 2: the pool is great, but it's a community pool and kids are restricted for parts of the day and then may only use one lane.
problem 3: staff don't speak English well and could have been more helpful in various ways.
problem 4: the internet pass code is changed once or even twice in 24 hours, which is unnecessary and annoying.
problem 5: the tub is very high and difficult to get in and out of for young and old.
Yet, the rooms are clean and the price is right for the area, which is quiet and residential. Good gym. small grocery stores on premises.
But the lack of AC in summer would mean we would not stay here again in warm weather.

M. A.Luxurious hotel. We only stayed one night but left the next day feeling relaxed. The reception staff were friendly and professional and the facilities were excellent. The room itself was excellent and clean.
The restaurant is a different story in need of a lot of improvement, the breakfast is very disappointing and you are shown to your table and left waiting to figure it out for yourself. Restaurant staff and chef need to be properly trained.
S. P.Great place to stay. Really close to the centre of London. I've stayed here twice now and couldn't fault the apartments. This time we were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment free of charge. All three rooms were en-suite. We had a separate lounge and kitchen. The place was immaculately clean.
Breakfast in the bar and grill was really good. We had an evening meal which was ok but nothing special.
The only negative was two of the reception staff were rather unfriendly.
T. M.A friend and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a mystery holiday. You truly get what you pay for here. The hotel location is pretty good itself. We always had transport willingly available to us from the resort. The ***ager was very professional in dealing with the problems. Quiet at night considering the amount of people there.
G. 1.Rooms should be renewed, but in any case they are comfortable and clean; position is ok for visiting most of London. Daily house keeping is good and also sauna, swimming pool and fitness center. Bathrooms are not so nice. Breakfast is quite good. At the end probably you would expect something more considering the cost.

A. E. D.The room was nice for a quick overnight stay. Had issues with the lock which was sorted in the end however took a long time. Was worrying having to go out leaving the door unlocked. On return was told it was sorted and wasn't a problem yet still opened the unlocked door without using the key card. Once asked a third time, a few hours later and a visit from security all of a sudden was sorted. No air conditioning which could be an issue in warmer times so wouldn't visit in the summer. The food in the bar was okay. Had quinoa, avocado and broccoli salad which was all salad leaves and not much else and was charged double for it. After checking receipt and going back it was refunded with no issues. If it wasn't for these issue would have been perfect. Will consider using again in the hope of having no problems.
T. B.Hidden gem. Need to select the rooms as some better than others and the difference can be a lot for the same price, but for central London, a great alternative to a 3/4 star hotel. The pool and gardens are lovely.
T. M.Everything you would ever need was close by. Anything we asked for was immediately taken care of. The free wifi is a bonus. The exercise room was well equipped. There are a lot of high end shops here. The front desk helped us out numerous times. The cleanliness of the room was well kept.

m. g.The apartment was clean but smelled a little of drains in the kitchen and bathroom. The parking was very bad, expensive even for London! A little difficult to get to from the apartment or main entrance to Dolphin House, be prepared to do some walking! The worst thing was the carpark was underground and very flooded, I don't recommend this parking if you are visiting alone. The pool area and restaurant were both nice and in good order. For the money I would not stay here again but in a pinch it was the solution to our problem after an Airbnb cancellation.
A. C.An older property, but conveniently located 3-5 min walk from Pimlico Underground station with lots of eateries and groceries stores in the area. We booked through Expedia and the 2 room package included breakfast, which was made to order and was excellent. The staff were very accommodating as we were able to check into our room at 10 am after arriving from a long overnight flight from North America. However, you do need to keep in mind that the suites do not have A/C and may get a bit hot in the summer time although portable fans are available in each bedroom. The area is very safe, populated with lots of primary and middle schools and libraries.
A. L.As a visitor to London, and England, the convenience of a hotel combined with the comfortable feeling of a community is a lovely experience. The spa located in the complex is really fabulous, the perfect thing for getting rid of travel stress quickly. The grill and bar has good food for reasonable prices. And being so close to the downtown attractions means that it is easy to walk to most of the tours and outings we have scheduled.

Y. M.Miscommunication followed by great experience. I’ve booked an appointment for studio viewing. An agency (i guess dolphin square themselves) didn’t contact about my viewing and I’ve for nothing. I couldn’t contact them back . But when managed to call they reach out to me quickly and did great viewing and advice.

C. N.Edit: in a previous review I mentioned several issues we had had with our flat during the first covid lockdown. I am pleased to say that, after discussion with Dolphin Square management, they have resolved them all to my satisfaction.
So I am once again in a position to be able to recommend living here—we have been here for five years, and, aside from the issues mentioned above, have been very happy. The location of the building is ideal, at under five minutes' walk from Pimlico tube, and a stone's throw from the river. Our flat is large and comfortable, and has lovely views over Dolphin Square gardens. The onsite amenities are very handy: there's a decent gym, a modest restaurant, a spa (that I have not used), and a handy parade of shops including a dry cleaner, sandwich shop, and convenience store. It's a great choice if you're looking for a peaceful living experience, in a unique, historic building, right in the heart of SW1.
T. M.The location of the hotel was easy to find and close to Pimlico tube station. The package we booked had breakfast included which was a good way to start each day. We found the experience to be thoroughly enjoyable from the time we set foot in the hotel till we left.

J. A.We always enjoy staying at Dolphin House. This is our 5th or 6th visit over about 10 years. The rooms vary in size but have everything we need in the smallest of them and that's where we are now. On one occasion a light didn't work but that's the only negative thing we can remember. Bar and Grill does what the name suggests and does it well. We always have a swim and use the heat rooms. It's a great place to stay in the centre of London.
Z. S.Loved the location. Right on the Thames provides great access to central London. Good options for food locally. Rooms are fine, I had a small room on the 1st floor (with people walking past the window). Internet was a real problem. Signal was weak in the room and connection was unstable.

V. J.For a stay in London which is so reasonably priced - I would very much recommend Dolphin House Apartments. A wonderful location in the heart of Pimlico - very close to Westminster, the only noise I heard was Big Ben telling me the time each morning! Apartments are modern and bright, with a comfortable and airy feel. Swimming Pool and leisure facilities also enable you to relax in the heart of this busy city. Combined with helpful and friendly staff, you will have a most welcomed stay here.
L. A.We can really recommend this place. Near central London, nice apartment with comfy beds. The included english breakfast was fantastic. Resaurant staff had understanding for and knowledge about allergens and served glutenfree bread for breakfast. Internet worked just fine. F. P.First of all is located in a fantastic position. Pimlico is in the city center without the chaos usually connected with this. Victoria Station is really near by foot and there is everything around. The Dolphin Square itself offer all the amenities you can wish for such as an arcade if you need something without going out of the building, a laundry, a gym, a swimming pool, a spa, tennis courts, a garden, and so on. As for the apartment s there are different type depend on what are you looking for.
I've seen a couple of them. One single bedroom and one double. There is the moquette in all the rooms except the bathroom and the kitchen. The wardrobes are wall mounted while the furniture is on request. The kitchen is small for my opinion if you wanna live here for a long time. But is fully equipped for a short mid stay. In the bathroom there is everything but they are with no windows as often happens here in uk. In the complex a very good place to stay in London.

A beautiful apartment with 2 separate bedrooms equipped with a bathroom in both rooms and a small kitchenette with a small lounge, for breakfast, clean and quiet, where in the same building, near the reception, there is the possibility of use the swimming pool and the wellness area.
Wandering in London with a rental car is impossible, there are no parking lots, we move with the excellent transport services with the classic red double-decker buses of London always punctual and heated, and the London Underground which with many lines lead you in all areas of London.
Eating in London was not so difficult, we Italians adapt to everything, but real London cuisine is found in the houses, there are no typical English restaurants, where you can taste typical dishes such as porridge, or meat stews, here as in other European capitals, there are many ethnic groups, so cuisines from all over the world, there are places where you eat sushi or Turkish or Spanish or German or you can find many Italian restaurants, as many are our boys who have come here to London to work, where unfortunately it's no longer in Italy.

The exchange rate with the euro is not favorable and London is very expensive.
Despite their classic London applomb, the British are very friendly and helpful, walking around London is like being inside a history book, you can find yourself near castles, with the London Bridge, or near medieval houses kept in excellent condition state, to then enter a building of the Second World War or the skyscraper of the future.
It was a beautiful discovery London, and four days are few to visit it all, we will return to complete the visit.

Londra.... un altra realtà
Londra non mi ha mai suscitato interesse, non so perchè, ci sono altre capitali europee dove io ho viaggiato, che danno sensazioni a pelle, tipo Berlino, Budapest o Praga, ma per Londra quella sensazione non riuscivo a percepirla, ma capitò un offerta di alcuni voli su Ryanair e siamo volati a Londra.
Quattro giorni sono pochi per visitarla tutta, ma faremo del nostro meglio per riuscire a vedere il massimo, anche perchè siamo nel periodo del Natale.
Arrivati in aeroporto ci dirigiamo verso l'autobus che ci condurrà fino al nostro bad and breakfast.
Il National Express è un ottimo servizio che gira su tutta Londra e periferia, che collega tutti gli aeroporti , e ve ne sono quattro a Londra, e lo si può prenotare su internet.
Il Dolphin House è una bellissima struttura, situata a pochi metri della fermata della linea C10 che ti conduce alla fermata della metro Victoria station.
Un bellissimo appartamento con 2 camere da letto separate dotate di un bagno in ambedue le camere e un piccolo angolo cottura con un piccolo salone, per le colazioni , pulito e tranquillo, dove nella stessa struttura, vicino alla reception, c'è la possibilità di usufruire della piscina e della zona benessere.
Girovagare a Londra con una macchina a noleggio è impossibile, non ci sono parcheggi, ci muoviamo con gli ottimi servizi di trasporto con i classici autobus a due piani tipici di Londra rossi sempre puntuali e riscaldati, e della metropolitana londinese che con tantissime linee ti conducono in tutte le zone di Londra.
Mangiare a Londra non è stato poi così difficile, noi italiani ci adattiamo a tutto, ma la vera cucina londinese si trova nelle case, non ci sono ristoranti tipici inglesi, dove poter gustare piatti tipici come il porridge, o degli stufati di carne, qui come in altri capitali europee, ci sono molte etnie, quindi cucine di tutto il mondo, ci sono locali dove mangi sushi o turco o spagnolo o tedesco o puoi trovare molti ristoranti italiani, come molti sono i nostri ragazzi che sono arrivati qui a Londra per lavoro, dove purtroppo in Italia non c'è più.
Per chi volesse visitare il grande museo di Londra il British Museum l'ingresso è gratuito e dove chi vuole potrà fare una donazione.
Immenso come struttura dove la stele di Rosetta e l' Uomo Danubiano di 5000 anni fa, son i reperti più ammirati, al suo interno si possono noleggiare a 2 sterline le audio guide.
Il cambio con l'euro non è favorevole e Londra è molto cara.
Nonostante il loro applomb classico londinese, gli inglesi sono molto cordiali e disponibili, passeggiare per Londra è come essere all'interno di un libro di storia, puoi trovarti vicino a dei castelli, con il London Bridge, o vicino a case medievali mantenute in ottimo stato, per poi entrare in un edificio della seconda guerra mondiale o al grattacielo del futuro.
E' stata una bella scoperta Londra, e quattro giorni sono pochi per visitarla tutta, ritorneremo per completare la visita.
