A truly amazing stay that ticked all the right boxes!
A warm welcome from check-in, to being allowed to check in a little earlier; gave us more time to enjoy an event near by.
The room was very clean, had more than enough space for a night's stay and also accommodated a balcony which was lovely.
The bar served truly gorgeous cocktails that I would 100% recommend #delicious..
The breakfast was worth the extra pennies, as the full English was freshly prepared for you to go serve up yourself.
The hotel also operates a ferry service every 20 minutes to canary wharf, which would be ideal for the commuters.
Customer service was brilliant 👏🏼
5* Would recommend on overall experience 👍🏼

Great hotel, fantastic friendly service's, from all staff members at the hotel. Nice location and free ferry services was a good and great way to get across. Views from the room, was amazing. We had food in the evening, which were good portions and freshly made. Recommended the fish and chips. The breakfast chooses is very good, and caters for all. Thank you for amazing weekend, will be coming g again.

Our experience at this hotel was great in November 2019. We took the room upgrade option to a king with a balcony. The room was very nicely decorated and well equipped, the balcony had great views of the river. The Doubletree cookies were delicious and warm as always and the free boat across the river to Canary Wharf was delightful! I definitely intend to stay at this hotel again as it is much better value for money than a lot of comparable hotels, simply for being a little way down the river...

I find it very hard to fault this hotel, right from the beginning the service was top notch.
Underground parking is available at £16 per night, although spaces are limited.
There is a restaurant and bar.
A boat service which is available to guests to take you across the water.
A small issue with the rooms was sorted quickly with the staff.
Check out is at 12.
Breakfast available until 10.30.am.
All of these little details matter when choosing somewhere.
A good location with a tube station nearby on the other side of the water..
An outdoor terrace, although this is water level, not on the roof, it still has excellent views of the Thames.
Easy to find if you follow a sat nav, this is an excellent hotel!!

My Mum lives nearby and when we visit her from America, the Doubletree Docklands is our home away from home.
The staff at the front desk and the restaurant are all really kind and helpful. Avelina specially made our stay even better.
The king rooms with a pull out sofa ate perfect for our family of three. They are well appointed and the beds super comfortable.
The breakfast is absolutely fantastic, really worth adding to your stay when you book. The full English breakfast buffet, plus a deli bar, continental breakfast, and hot oatmeal with all of the fixings. The coffee is really good as well.
The views of Canary Wharf and The Shard and the Thames River are spectacular from the riverside rooms and restaurant
Love this hotel!

Lovely hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was very clean with views to the city and the river. We wanted breakfast in our room and they brought that for us even though they don’t usually do room service for breakfast. My only comment was the staff weren’t always wearing their masks properly , I know it’s difficult but would be good to sort this out, otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Okay. Where do I start!
Firstly, on appearance from the outside and the entrance hall this place looks amazing. What a reception area. Stunning design and very well layed out. Great service from the reception staff and they were very accomodating and helpful with information about the local area and the ferry service.
Secondly, highlight of the place was the ferry service across the river. This was a life saver. To the lovely men that work the boat and have to just potter too and from the sides, they do a great job. They were friendly and amazing. This service takes off a good amount of time to get around London.
Thirdly, the room! Was not impressed one bit! Bed was hard as nails, the bathroom didn't look the greatest. We weren't impressed to be given towels/ floor mats with holes in and stains on but was only staying a night so got on with it. One drawer in the room was broken and glasses weren't clean. For what it is worth and the money we spent, wasn't worth the walk and hassle to get all the way to it back and forth throughout the day. Could hear everything around us and anything that was happening outside.
Won't be staying again as wasn't what we expected for the extortionate price that we paid. Didn't even risk breakfast due to seeing how bad the room was. The stars are only for the views and boat service, they deserved our money more than the place itself!!!

A very nice Hotel! We keep coming back to this hotel because of the warm hospitality and cosy rooms.
The staff are all very helpful and hospitable, especially Vasillio the night manager. The boat service is quite cool and let's you enjoy the views. Breakfast was good and had a wide variety of items.
G. W.
We had a room on the top floor which had floor to ceiling windows and a small balcony. The view over the Thames was just fantastic and the stay was worth it just for that.
I think the best thing that I can say is that I have already booked another stay at the hotel.
A. S.
The staff were lovely and the location is amazing. We had a junior suite, overlooking the river and canary wharf. The view was spectacular, especially with all of the lights at night.
Unfortunately an event held on the Saturday night marred our stay somewhat as loud music went on until 0100 and then we were unfortunate enough to have some utter muppets in the room next to us who were singing at the top of their voices at 0300. Whilst I'm not yet an old person, I'm certainly no longer a young person....so Sunday was a bit of a wash out and as the tiredness took a day to fully hit, Monday was a complete write off.
If I could be guaranteed that no events were on, I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel to stay while in London. Definitely book with breakfast (it's pretty great).
Great special service that you can get for free from the hotel to canary wharf pier by ferry and back.
C. G.
Great stay with amazing views across the river. The ferry that runs over to Canary Wharf every 15 minutes is a fantastic service, free to hotel guests.
Breakfast was hot very tasty and plentiful with eggs to order.

We spent a bleak winter weathered 2 day weekend in London visiting a friend and decided to opt for a hotel rather than a lumpy pull out bed and I am oh so glad we did. Our stay at the Doubletree was an absolute pleasure. Although we arrived late on a Friday evening the check-in was quick and effortless. The lobby and room were beautifully decorated, the beds extremely comfortable and on a par with Premier Inn's mega matresses and the balcony overlooking London was the icing on the cake, especially when lit-up in the evening. I would have given 5 stars but for the poor parking situation whereby it is £16 PER night for the carpark, however it is London after all and space is the premium commodity. Highly recommended.
J. B.
Enjoyable stay at the hotel. The check-in process was swift and easy. The room was very spacious and clean. The view across the river was very impressive (especially at night when looking across at Canary Wharf). The bed was very comfy.
My only minor criticism of the room was that the tea tray needed more supplies and there should have been bottled water in the room. Also, we ate in the restaurant in the evening and the menu was very limited. They didn't even have some of the items on the menu. But generally the hotel is extremely pleasurable to stay at, it's in a quiet location but very easy to get into central London using the Uber Clipper boats on the Thames!

The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful welcome, our room was fantastic, and the food is delicious. I don't think I will stay at any other hotel again.
P. T.
It all seemed very nice, with views over the Thames and a boat waiting to take you across the water. The food I had was exceptionally good, as was the coffee.
However, I had to ask for sugar, which took the waiter some while to understand, and then the milk ran out, which he seemed to not know what to do. Seems to be a good place to stay
A. M. s.
A gem!, stayed with my family, had the best time, the mini kitchen had everything in it to get you cooking breakfast with the family, perfect location to stock up on groceries as well if you like being economical, the rooms were spacious and comfy.
j. d.
Very nice hotel. Clean nice beds. Breakfast was good. We had a suite fantastic view of canary wharf. Balcony over looking the water. Free boat included anytime of the day
C. M. U.
First time staying in this hotel and to be honest it won’t be the last. Staff very friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. We booked a suite for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The views were stunning and I could spend all day watching the boats go past. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and looked newly painted.
Breakfast was self service and dinner was a good price and tasted lovely.
You get to the hotel via a free ferry, this was easy to use but check the running times. The ferry goes from Canary Wharf clipper boating station. It only takes about 90 seconds from one side to another and can be a bit bumpy at times due to the tides etc, good fun and kids will love it.
10 minutes away from the DLR station at Canary Wharf. Definitely going to book again. Suites are expensive but well worth the money for a special occasion
M. W.
The family twin room (415) I stayed in was a bit of a let down - pretty scuffed up furniture and doorways and the carpets were stained, the bathroom tiles have also seen better days. More budget hotel than a Hilton. This room needs a refurb. On the plus side, awesome views of canary wharf across the river, the riverboat is cool, the restaurant décor was nice and the staff are excellent - the Hilton management should be proud of them. The breakfast choice is also pretty decent and they give you cookies when you check in which is a nice touch.
J. P.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. It was immaculately clean and staff were very helpful. I'll definitely book again soon!
C. P.
Stayed 2 nights here and what a perfect hotel for what we wanted.
Requested a river view room and boy did it not disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff plus on day of checkout was allowed to leave my car in the car park till we left London around 5 o'clock on day of checkout. 10/10

Hotel is amazing! Make sure you get a room with a terrace. The view was incredible. Room was very clean loved the bathroom! Lady at the reception was very professional she was kind and helpful. Also I was impressed with their secured private parking it was only £16 for a night. Highly recommend.
S. D.
Stayed 3 days with my family, its a clean place with good Hilton standards, great view of Canary Wharf and London city skyline, and car park in the basement.
The only issue was that our room was not ready on arrival but we were given complimentary drinks in the lounge and the staff were apologitic.
Recommended as they have large family rooms so Will use them again in the near future.
E. E.
Great staff pleasant and cheerful. perks of using the uber boat, would have given 5 star but few things in the room not up to scratch, cobwebs, broken bath covering. But generally clean and decent size room for a London hotel.
L. M.
One of my favourite hotels while staying in London. The view over to Canary wharf is wonderful specially on the top floor
N. H.
Great family break, value for 5 people, superb staff. Lovely view of the Thames at night (room 540). Food in the restaurant was excellent too.
A. W.
Great location, very friendly helpful staff, good food fantastic views from the restaurant terrace. Spacious room. Lovely hot shower.
D. B.
In the spirit of serving the friendly staff showed up and delivered. Clean and contemporary property. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside - very much convenient in location. Andrea (FOM) was very accommodating, welcoming, pleasant and professional when I recently utilised the property for a day let. Thanks to Cannie as well (FO).
A. G.
Nice place to stay if you have to reach canary wharf offices via a free daily ferry ride!
Difficult to get taxi service.
Decent food and breakfast options.
G. H.
It was a beautiful weekend for me and my family... a bit sad we couldn't stay for more days.... enjoyed the beautiful river view watching the boats ..... environment and rooms were neat, free boat pass across to canary wharf, reception welcome was also exquisite👌 will surely revisit when time and cash permits..
N. M.
Staff, especially night staff on the day we checked in were superb, the manager was so helpful and accomadating with our specific needs. The rooms where smaller then expected and the beds where quite small too although we booked a queen bed room, it was smaller then my double at home which is the only issue faced at this hotel otherwise would have given it a 5 star 🌟
I. Q.
Close to the Isle of dogs, decent views if you get a deluxe room. Service is good and breakfast is the standard buffet.
Overall, I recommend this place but there are some quirks, the showerheads are usually half functional. Calling for room service, reservations or anything else will end up with nobody picking up.
Manage your expectations but you'll still enjoy the stay.
Oh, and the ferry ride is included in your stay.
J. G.
Promised balcony room didn't get it. Still a great view and tidy place. There is no way to get in the main door with ur card after dark a member of staff always has to let you in and when the busy u can freeze to death
R. L.
Nice enough hotel, rooms bit jaded and missing fridge, bath mat etc.
Check in was good but when I called 2 days prior to confirm booking front desk lady was discourteous and dismissive. Needs to do a lot better.
Breakfast concierge on the 21st Sept was excellent and very professional. full marks to her in contrast to the front desk lady who took my call
M. W.
Great location, friendly staff and decent rooms. I have stayed here twice now for work, and have booked again for next week. The free ferry across to Canary Wharf is perfect, with Uber ferries running up and down the Thames.
E. H.
There is so much positive about this hotel but also negative so as much as I'd like to give 4-5 I had to give a middle rating.
Positive - travelling as a family of 5 it is really hard to find rooms that accommodate us, so when this came up we went for it. We knew it would be a little trek outside the main centre but that was OK. It was lovely and quiet, there were also many families staying here and the bed layout was great. Comfortable and clean beds. We also were given a really great view (room 270), probably the biggest highlight for the kids. Especially at night when canary wharf is lit up and you can watch the uber boats speed up and down. The free ferry over to the other side of the river is frequent and takes a few minutes. It's then about 10 min walk to canary wharf stations.
Our stay included breakfast. This was a great selection of continental and hot breakfast buffet, with fresh food and selection of hot and cold drinks. Really accommodating restaurant staff who went out their way to chat and help you and you can see they work hard to make it enjoyable. A credit to the hotel.
Negative - as much as our room was nice, the bathroom was very dated and grubby. We also had no hot water for the duration - it was only when we called on two occasions to reception that they sent a maintenance man up to get hot water. Once the shower was turned off it was cold again. The 2nd time I called reception I had to physically call the main hotel number as they don't answer the room phone. The receptionist immediately said "but you have the best view". I replied "I appreciate we have a great room view but we'd all also like to have a hot shower and if it's not possible could we go to another room to just shower. Eventually she agreed to send maintenence. On the 2nd evening we also asked for new towels and some clean cups. There is no housekeeping so you have to ask. By the evening of day 3 I had asked 3 times. In the end we found the storage room and helped ourselves to towels. Evening of day 4 we finally got clean cups! I bought my own little bin bags and anti bac wipes to keep the room and bathroom clean. The toilet is incredibly old and small. Even with a bit of toilet paper it blocks easily. We had to get reception again to plunge the loo, day 4 I did it myself! The attitude and manner was so different to the restaurant staff. Either they are very short staffed or just don't really want to do anything else other than check you in and out. I found this really disappointing. It let the hotel down. I don't understand why there isn't some basic housekeeping for stays.
I would return and recommend this hotel despite the negatives.

The hotel is in a great location overlooking the Thames with convenient access to both the road and TfL transport links. Some rooms are a little on the smaller side and do avoid ones next to the lifts as these are exceedingly noisy from many past experiences (this hotel has been used often over the last 25 years). The rooms are functional, but do make sure you take your chargers as rooms have no powered charging USB points, and as a note from the wife, ladies please do check the desk lamp works as that's the only light for doing your makeup unless you stand in the bathroom. The mirror in many rooms has no lighting so you're stuck in your own shadow from the bathroom light (room 143). Car park does get busy and spaces are tight especially when the garage is filled with SUVs! There is limited on street parking and above ground on site.
j. a.
Good links to canary wharf via complimentary ferry. Good breakfast. Think twice before booking any sofa bed as an extra sleeping arrangement they are not comfortable at all
G. W.
Post lockdown stay. Extremely good service. Clean rooms. No housekeeping unless you ask. Great outdoor areas for drinking and meals. Amazing views (see pic). Car parking limited but good drop off zone. Regular ferry to Canary Wharf. Food good quality, standard pub fair such as steak, fish and chips etc. Limited beers. Average prices. Booked again while here.
j. r.
Nice rooms, interesting location right on the river, underground parking garage for guests. Ordered a 'Wagyu' beef burger and a Caesar salad from room service on our first evening - burger was like something from a van at a football match and the salad was 85% dressing, plus we had to go down to collect the food which seemed to defeat the purpose of room service... recommend ordering Deliveroo or something if you stay here. They have a ferry to cross the river into Canary Wharf which is free for guests. All in all, a good week spent staying here.
j. p.
Nice, clean and fresh place to spend the night! They had a great ferry service for customers free of charge, couldn't use it as we had to leave, so sad!
K. G.
Great value for money in a quiet location across the River from Canary Wharf.
Big clean room with a wonderful view of the River Thames and Canary Wharf.
Make sure you know the last ferry times as reception told us wrong time and we missed it, if this happens you have to walk to the tube station and get the train to Canada Water and walk through the quiet streets for 25 mins to get to the hotel, scary times at night.
S. B.
Nice hotel with very good breakfast buffet one of the best I've been to. Good access to canary wharf from there uber boat that they do. Just a little bit of a pain if your getting back to the hotel late as youll have to get the tube to Canada water and get the C10 bus which is fine just extra public transport you have to get on.
M. B.
Amazing stay! Cleanliness was perfect, a great view from our room and the complementary boat service to take us across to Canary Wharf was a great surprise for us. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Thank you! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Z. H.
Lovely hotel - fantastic view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Everywhere was clean and Covid procedures were clearly explained and visible throughout the hotel and restaurant. The room was comfortable with good facilities. The only downside is the bathroom - really small but I guess you're paying for the view. The complimentary ferry service to Canary Wharf is a great idea.
M. G.
Fantastic experience. the gym was well equipped for a hotel gym, the bar was friendly with a great view and the free boat across the river to Canary Warf made a lovely morning commute.
C. H. -. R.
We had a great stay here. Me and my family of 4 stayed here. Check in was easy. But we booked a renovated room and none were available. Location was great ,
A. A.
The Hotel was neat and cosy. I like the view especially the sea and ferry at night.
A. C.
Very much enjoyed our stay visiting family nearby - comfortable room with added bonus of a balcony over the hotel beach, with soothing background sound of waves - not expected in the middle of London! Very convenient ferry to Canary Wharf, and handy bus service immediately outside. Staff were attentive and helpful, breakfast was good, and the public areas clean and comfortable - excellent wi-fi throughout hotel was also appreciated. We will certainly stay here again.
S. S.
Very good standards here at the Hilton docklands with helpful staff. I really like the location of this hotel with beautiful scenery all around.
P. M.
Ferry service is very useful and fun. Hotel was comfortable. My corner room had great views of docklands and the city.

Friendly staff, nice and clean hotel room. Nice views of the Thames River. A bit expensive. Difficult to reach using public transport.
P. M.
Nice hotel, but the rooms are a little tired and in need of an overhaul. The staff were super friendly and it’s a great location.
D. L.
Great location, room just right for my largish family and ferry link to London river locations was excellent. However, hugely let down by not being on top of the guest experience.
G. L.
Very clean , bathrooms so small. But would recommend very conveintent for
canary wharf especially having the ferry pier at the hotel
T. A.
Always a lovely comfortable stay. Great staff, friendly and helpful.
S. V.
Very nice location and set up. Great to be able to take the free ferry to Canary Wharf.
Fantastic views over Canary Wharf from the terraces. Friendly staff and room was very clean and comfortable. The library is a cosy place to have a glass of wine in the evening.
Only complaint was the warm breakfast that was fairly tasteless and dry.
Overall a very good experience and I would certainly want to come back here and recommend to friends visiting London.
T. H.
Room was lovely and clean, the view was amazing. The use of the doubletree ferry to Canary Wharf to get the Uber boat was very convenient. The staff were so lovely and very helpful. The restaurant was closed and the bar menu was limited but it was ok.
4* because the cooked breakfast was awful, we had two adults and 3 children we ordered all full breakfasts but one without eggs they brought 4 kids breakfasts and one adult all with eggs, we sent one child’s meal and the adult meal back but when they brought the adult meal back with no eggs everything on the plate had been reheated the hash browns were soaked in oil and over cooked, the beans dry but the bacon and sausages were cold. We stayed for 3 nights and only ate breakfast that once, this is the only thing that let the hotel down.
We would stay again regardless, maybe we would give breakfast another go if we did.
Y. K.
My favourite hotel. Rooms are amazing. Location to die for. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good choice and plenty.
P. L.
Lovely hotel, made better by the free river ferry to Canary Wharf. Need to book early to get best prices though.
A. T.
It is a very nice hotel especially for those who love the sea because they've got ferry service over there .
K. C.
Stayed Doubletree by Hilton Dockland many times. Love this hotel. The staffs are always helpful and cooperative as usual. Hotel is located at the best location by the river Thames and opposite Canary wharf. The night manager Mr vasello is just outstanding at his services. The manager was so cooperative and helpful, we bothered him again and again for additional reservations and room changes, fortunately we were very pleased and happy for his genuine hospitality. Wishing all the best for this hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was cool.
Thank you!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Excellent place to stay.
All the staff were great
Great customer services
Restaurant and bar staffs are outstanding
B. A.
Quiet location with a very handy complementary boat ride to the other side of the river. Friendly people, small room.
C. M.
Still one of the best views in London - if you get the right room! Terrace bar great spot for summer drinks. Limited parking but regular buses into town or to be Canada Water tube station. There is also a ferry with a regular service across the Thames to Canary Wharf.
S. O.
The location and service are excellent, but the aile of hotel is too narrow to use a big suitcase, a wheelchair or a buggy.

Lovely stay at the DoubleTree Riverside Docklands Nes Years Eve. Having great staff made it extra special!

Staff very good, room very pricey for the size. Good breakfast.

Amazing staff from check in to breakfast experience on departure day. The food and beverage team were helpful and informative, our room had a fantastic river view and we fully relaxed during our stay.

Lovely place to stay, great service, great continental breakfast and amazing views.

We began our stay on the first opening night after the hotel had closed for COVID 19. The hotel had an efficient atmosphere and the staff were prepared and covid safe. Breakfast ran really smoothly and was a great experience. The food was lovely and, again, the staff were really helpful and friendly. Nicoletta was particularly efficient and she kept the dinning room ticking along and kept the guests happy in a very professional manner.
Our evening was made however by Monica, who was working in the bar area. She was extremely good at her job and stayed engaged with each person she was serving in spite of being busy. We stayed for two nights and during this time both Monica and Nicoletta continued to impress us. I can only assume that the rest of the staff are of an equally high calibre, and look forward to all future stays. Well done all.

Booked this as a 'Top Secret Hotel' on lastminute.com a while back but forgot to review. Maybe changes have been made. Opened the door to our room and it hit the bed. Very old fashioned. Bed wasn't uncomfortable. Do not stay here if you plan to spend any time in the rooms. We did not try the food as our expectations were low after seeing our room. Getting the ferry to the hotel was quite a sweet novelty and the outside area by the bar had it's charm. Lovely view of the river.

Our family of five stayed at this hotel right as the current pandemic began to unfold. I can't compliment the staff at this hotel enough, who were so kind, thoughtful, and courteous to us in the midst of all of the change and uncertainty; our stay here and their response was a big comfort during these challenging times. As for the facility itself, it's an historic hotel so the layout and rooms are different, but that's part of the charm. While not the most dazzling, I found it to be very cozy, quiet, and clean. It was family-friendly as well. The location is not ideal if you are going to spend most of your time in central London. That said, if you want to be away from the noise and crowds, it's very peaceful and quiet here, and you are still well-connected to the bus system and both the Canary Wharf tube and the DLR using their free ferry service. The kids and I enjoyed taking the ferry across, as well as being so close to the Thames. The food was good at the hotel, better than most hotel restaurants, with again very friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable, and the water nice and hot contrary to some of the reviews posted. The heating/AC did seem a little finicky, but after taking some time to figure out the console, we were able to adjust this as well. I would overall highly recommend this location if you're visiting with a large family, or just want a more peaceful area of London to stay in.
M. M.
We stopped here after Leaving the Sheraton at Heathrow (terrible) WOW this hotel is lovely - Clean room , friendly staff and very well aimed at kids. Our waiter (which I have forgotten his name) he worked in Scotland for a few years before coming to london was fantastic so good with the kids and nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in numerous hotels and have to say this is one of our favs so far.

Great hotel, poor breakfast and cold.

I spent just one night. I enjoyed my stay. The lunch was good. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were very helpful. i'd stay there again.

Visited the Hilton in London Docklands for an all day conference. Very well managed and maintained. Our speaker stayed overnight at the hotel and said the stay was great. There's local tube and bus access. Plus there's a ferry to Canary Wharf, which is free for hotel guests. There's parking as well, although it's not very well signposted (black automatic gate next to hotel, opens once you get close enough. Don't assume it's closed). Will visit against n and recommend to friends and colleagues. The food was also great. Short order menu with a selection of pizzas and sandwiches with a starter and a couple of desserts. Can't attest to the wine selection though.
K. G.
Very nice hotel, one half of the hotel is very modern and industrial looking and the other half is externally not so attractive but very pleasant inside.
R. L.
Fully recommend this hotel, absolutely faultless, from booking in to checking out the service was second to none! Staff were very helpful and professional, the room was amazing, very comfy bed and the restaurant was perfect, for the price we paid, the experience was exceptional, fully recommend the river view suite with balcony!... we will definitely be back soon, thanks guys, you went above and beyond x (I don't often leave reviews but this time it would be selfish not to)
F. G. D.
I have been here sometimes as I am resident. I always been look after and staff was always friendly.
Definitely a plus for the local community. Will be nice to have a discounted rate for residents. May inspire to host friends and family more often there and not in the airbnbs near by. But if you do that please advertise as we may benefit
M. F.
Room was very comfortable.
Food and drink great.
Fantastic views over the River Thames

Great stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff are very helpful. The ferry over to Canary Wharf takes less than 5 minutes and is free for residents at the hotel! Excellent stay, would highly recommend.
F.
Brilliant stay at this hotel recently. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The parking was helpful and the use of the boat across to canary wharf was also great...also free. Breakfast was one of the biggest selections of breakfast buffets I've seen. The restaurant also has great selection of food and drinks. We will be returning in the future.
R. R.
Great location, superb service, everything was just perfect! I will definitely be booking here soon again :)
T. M.
Location is great and free ferry service to Canary Wharf was great although watch out for them stopping it during low tide! Room was nice although no window as was frosted so couldn’t see out, would recommend paying and upgrading as …

Stayed two nights here. The bed was ridiculously big and comfy, staff were friendly. Car parks are a nightmare if you drive anything bigger than a smartcar 😅 make sure you get a cookie when you check in too. Room was big, but lighting was very poor. No fridge?!

I like this hotel, it's very clean and a good value. Employees are helpful. Very easy to get on and off the ferry. We had a nice sized suite to share with our children. My biggest issue was the poor lighting and lack of mirrors and outlets. It's very difficult for three females to get made up and do hair in this suite. If I were to stay here again, I would bring a lighted makeup mirror.

Lovely room, I did enjoyed dinner and wiev from terrace is beautiful.

Loved this hotel by the thames river. Friendly staff and very good breakfast.

Lovely hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly upon arrival. The nearest tube station this side of the river is Canada Water a 20 min walk away, however the hotel provide a 2 minute customer only ferry ride over the river and back allowing us to make the 10 minute walk to Canary Wharf station instead. Housekeeping did not get to our room until 5pm by which point we were getting ready to go out again so couldn't let them in so our room did not get seen to but that wasn't a massive problem.
K. K.
Really good clean bit expensive especially if order food drink from restaurant £3 per water
R. S.
Very good location nice clean room little balcony to see the Dock from, mattress was my only problem had worse but definitely wasn't the best
S. S.
First the good: the cookies. Cookie monsters be warned, they are super addictive.
Staff was generally polite and helpful. The gym is pretty nice compared to what you usually get across the average hotel gyms. We got the balcony view which was nice.
The accessibility to the Tube via bus can take up some precious time for tourists unnecessarily if you're tight for time.
Being a Hilton member and having tried out various locations, this one seemed very crammed for space in the room, and along with the accessibility to the tube issue, it didn't make sense when compared to the price point.
Then came the bed bugs. They were seemingly playing the "connect four" board game on my back while I slept. Hope the hotel can fix that issue.

Amazing hotel.
Great service, room was lovely with great views. Views from our balcony were overlooking the Thames and Canary Wharf.
Beds were big and comfortable and the kids loved the free boat too!
Highly recommend and will be booking again

Love the location of this hotel, a quiet spot on the water and a short river taxi away from all the sights. Staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view! Food was good. Service was a bit slow but host served with a smile.

Great location on the River Thames. Really enjoyed our stay at this fabulous hotel. The character of the hotel was amazing! It was clearly converted from an old warehouse or factory. We had a river view king suite which had a balcony and an wonderful view. The free ferry was a nice amenity to cross over the river. This hotel is situated in a more residential part of London, which added to our experience. Travel to all of the attractions in the city was made easy by the bus stop right outside of the hotel.
D.
It's a decent hotel, very well placed for travelling to Canary Wharf as you can commute by foot ferry. Has ample parking if you're driving in, though the location isn't amazing if you're looking to get the tube into the city as it's a long walk to the nearest station. The road links aren't terrible, but be careful not to get caught driving through central London.
You can get a bus from right outside which is OK which improves the tube situation, but its not that regular compared to other buses in London (At least, in my experience).
The hotel itself is pretty nice. The block I was staying in though has some issue which was causing all the corridors and the room I was staying in to have a faint 'sour' smell. I don't know if all the floors are like this, but mine definitely was. Also, the room I was in had a very odd layout with very cheap plastic fixtures everywhere in it. They were good to look at, but they clearly won't stay looking good for a long time into the future.
I'll be staying here again, especially if I work in Canary Wharf again, but there are better hotels around.
S. W.
The customer service was EXCELLENT! Very friendly and attentive! Waiters at the restaurant & Housekeeping was wonderful as well. The room was too small. There was not a place or closet to store our luggage. The lifts (elevators) are extremely tiny. Two people and 2 large suitcases can barely fit inside of it...
C. H.
The hotel was generally reasonable and clean.
The rooms probably could be improved. The layout of the rooms isn’t great. There were no shelves in my cupboard either.
The hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren and not easy to navigate. The passages are narrow, even to get to the lifts. Some passages are also blocked by towel trolleys occasionally.
Breakfast is OK but not brilliant particularly given the price.
The hotel location is pretty decent - although not within walking distance of a tube station. The ferry operates about every 10 minutes to Canary Wharf. The bus trip (381) gets you to London Bridge really quickly. The C10 bus is quick to the Canada Water station. The setting on the side of the Themes is nice - and a little removed from the London hustle and bustle.

Was pleasantly surprised. Nice hotel. Our room was spacious and the bed was huge! Fantastic location just a very short ferry ride to the hustle and bustle of Canary wharf. Will definitely recommend staying here.
V. H.
Lovely hotel on the River Thames. Great access to central London by using the clipper boat at the hotel that crosses every 10 minutes. Great views from our room of the London Skyline was extra special. Bathroom was a tad small but not too much of an issue. Bed was really comfy and the TV on the wall could be pulled out to face you in bed which was a nice touch.
G. H.
Good location for Canary Wharf with inclusive ferry. Getting back to a normal breakfast as Covid restrictions are easing.
G. P.
The location is perfect, prices are very high considering standard and size of room and bathroom

Absolutely amazing!
Me and my partner had booked this hotel for two nights as it was our first weekend away together and I’m so glad we chose it!
When we arrived early we got the doubletree ferry across from Canary Wharf straight on the hotel site. The ferry is free for guests for the entire stay and when you check out. We left our luggage behind the reception desk and headed out until it was time to check in.
When we checked in, they explained everything to us and gave us a free warm
Cookie each.
We were in an executive king bedroom on the 6th floor with double doors that over look the river slightly. The room was a very good size, a good quality and comfy bed, modern bathroom and overall just an amazing room.
As we had an executive room we got free breakfast which you could have a fry up or a continental breakfast. We also had access to the executive lounge which allows you to have free snacks, soft and alcoholic drinks! (Always Love a free drink!). Only downfall to the executive lounge is that it was super super small!
I would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in London.
R. v. R.
Very nice hotel, Excellent breakfast. The rooms are OK but a bit old and small.
There is no subway station close by. You need or take the bus or first cross the river (for free). Taking the ferry into the city is nice.
J. M.
My experience at this hotel was phenomenal. The hotel location is great, it provides it's guests with access to the ferry which can be used to go onto another ferry which can take you throughout major points of interest in London saving you time and money. The service was excellent and the cost is fair. The access to the ferry helps overcome the cost. The service and staff was great. I would highly recommend it for anyone seeking easy access to London visiting areas.
*Access to the ferry to get around town will allow you see London and move around fast. Using a taxi or a bus can eat up your time due to traffic.
S.
This hotel is simply beautiful from the word go. The room had more then everything you needed, with full size toiletries provided which smelt and felt fantastic. The warm cookie on arrival is a very nice touch. We had dinner and breakfast and the staff were very attentive and made me feel really relaxed. The allergen chart was really detailed and I could tweak some of the dishes, the chef was very accommodating. Breakfast was one of the best laid spreads I've ever seen, definitely something for everyone. The only thing that was abit of a shame was paying for the ferry over from canary wharf, eventhough I showed them our booking reservation. Nevermind, a simple email and a refund was sorted from the Thames clipper. Highly recommend a stay here!!
I. F.
Excellent location. Convenient ferry that transfers you to the Canary wharf stop. We were able to take an all day hop on hop off boat to Central London and back. This was faster than taking the underground and dealing with buses and traffic. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Definitely recommended if you're visiting London.
A. H.
A very nice hotel with great connections to public transport, as well as a free boat service across the river. Breakfast is fine but on our last visit the service was very slow at the omelette station. The staff at reception are always very friendly and welcoming.
T. L.
Upon arriving at the doubletree, we were told our room wasn't ready and then asked to pay £20 to up grade to a better room. After refusing to pay, they found a "more suitable" room, which came with no view, no minibar, broken aircon and only one towel between two people. I turn to the Hilton to avoid the likes of travel lodge, but feel this time I would've been better off there. The only saving grace was the free ferry service to canary wharf, and the beautiful decor of the bar and restaurant, however, this isn't enough to warrant a return.
A. A.
What an amazing hotel. The view was incredible. And it even has it's own ferry. The assistant night manager, Fabio went out of his to make us feel welcome and made sure the kids were doing okay. Will definitely be back
D. P.
Great hotel Very kind and nice staff.
The detail of the cookies upon arrival and departure is very original. The room for 5 people is very large and comfortable. The breakfast is spectacular and the menu for lunch and dinner is very good and varied. The option of having a ferry at your disposal to cross the river is perfect. And finally the bar has a great variety of beers and cocktails. And all under the Hilton seal guarantee of luxury and quality. Thank you and see you soon.
As an anecdote, to say that in the hotel teams of the Premier and the English championship are concentrated.
K. S.
One of the best hotels near Canary wharf. Great point about the hotel is its location which is not exactly amidst the commercial buildings as it's across the river which gives it a slight homely touch if you are staying away for long. Besides there is a dedicated and complimentary boat service that takes guests to the wharf from the hotel and back
G. P.
Interesting 🙄
Location and views 10/10
Food and service 9/10
Hotel layout 3/10
The hotel consists of 3 Riverside blocks linked by bridges over the old docks, which is fine. However, when you get to your block the internal layout is a series of dog legged, narrow, grim corridors with multiple but separate lifts. None of the normal straight corridors and multiple lifts. Also the internal signage could be better.
A. N.
Beautiful hotel and lovely setting. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast very great. Only negative was they didn't have all our rooms ready and as we had restaurant reservations we wouldn't wait so one one couple had to get ready with the others and couldn't unpack - the staff said the room would be ready in 15mins and then 40 mins later we got the key. A couple of the staff were a little unhelpful but the rest were very good and friendly. Bar was nice and we'll priced.
R. A.
We loved staying here and will definitely return again. The public spaces are spotless and really well styled. The free ferry to canary wharf is brilliant and our children loved it. It is in a really good location for eating out although the restaurant looked lovely. Good tube links on the jubilee line and easy access to most of London. Our room was spacious although the bathroom was a little on the small side but considering there were 5 of us in the room I think we had a good amount of space. There was a noisey party next door to us and the staff moved us right away to another room. Breakfast was great with a good and wide selection of food. Really really good.

Wow wow wow, my girlfriend booked a weekend stay for my birthday and was blown away by the whole occasion.
The room were incredible a small balcony over the bar terrace and a clear view of Canary Wharf, easily could have sat there all day watching the boats go by.
We had a few cocktails in the bar, was a bit alarmed when i asked for a cocktail menu and was told whatever you ask for we'll make, but set up my test and cocktails delivered were outstanding.
We had room service but don't believe this is a fair judge of food in a hotel.
The buffet breakfast was excellent and everything you'd ever want it need in a breakfast.
R. R.
Very nice hotel really enjoyed my stay the staff where all excellent.

As a location..... It is hard to fault it at all!
The free boat that takes you directly to the hotel from the canary wharf side and back is a good touch! Just need to make sure that you get back in time for the last one, as that would be an expensive taxi if you were out late and the wrong side of the river!!
The reception area and staff were lovely and a lovely touch with the free warm cookie they gave us.
The room however was definitely not to the standard we expected! This was one of the King Executive rooms on the 6th floor. On the website, the pictures showed a balcony, which was the main point of booking this "King Executive" room....... We didn't have a balcony.
The carpet was warn badly in some spots and had stains on it, also the floor creaked in many places in the room. The "large double" was in fact two singles pushed together. I really can't stand seeing this as it just looks tacky and like the place can't afford to put in a proper bed.
Considering the location and the views (we hoped to see)......... I'm so shocked that in this day and age, that places still lock the door and windows in the room! The one that did open you could only just post the complaint letter through it that u wanted to write!
I detest using the air conditioning when simply opening the doors and or windows is so much better.
If it's just a safety thing, then at least give us the option of keeping it locked for children, but we're 2 adults and wasn't thinking about jumping at that point in time!
The sink in the bathroom is way too low and although a thing done people hate seeing.... A toilet brush! There wasn't one......... The thought of the staff having to address "leftovers" is not something I enjoy and would always prefer to address myself.
Some good points........ The black out curtains...... Although on the windows above the them, we're crudely painted with a low quality black paint..... You could see the brush strokes and the light from outside came through a bit.
Decent TV...... Good quality ironing board and iron....... Pillows were lovely....... Shower was nice and powerful....... Ample draw and cupboard space........ Good tea/coffee/kettle section on the desk.
Carrying the Hilton brand name, we really thought that we would have not noticed so many things that changed how our first ever trip for Winter Wonderland went. By no means did it ruin the trip, but unlike the cookie..... Left a bad taste in our mouths!
Although the price of the room was kept from me as my girlfriend booked it up, I know that she wasn't happy with the way it was and I knew she was a little upset as was the first thing she'd booked for us together.
I don't know if I'd book here again to be honest, which is a shame as I've stayed in Hilton locations around the world and this was my first bad experience.

I decided to stay at this hotel because it was a short ferry ride to the location where I needed to go but it’s probably the worst decision that I could have made. Here’s why:
Check-in: I arrived at 9:15 am after a long flight from the United States. Check in was at 3, but I was hoping that I could get a room sooner. The front desk was a little busy and told me to come back at noon, and they would have a room ready for me. They sent me to a mall to eat and shop while I waited and I came back at 1 pm, hoping I had given them enough time. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t ready, so I had to wait an hour in the lobby for a room. While I was there, I witnessed 2 people change their rooms because of room issues. I think they gave me one of the rooms with issues without fixing it.
Rooms: The rooms are lovely and large but the bathroom is small, and the AC system did not work, and when I told the front desk, they sent a guy that didn’t know what he was doing. He turned it off then turned it on and said, “see it’s working.” It was above 80 degrees in the room all night and 50 degrees outside. I would open the window to cool the room then close it, but in no time the room was back to 80. I complained the next night again, and they sent out the same guy who did the same thing, and I went through the steps to cool the room. With the drastic changes, I wound up getting sick.
Restaurant on Location: The first night I was there, I decided to go to the restaurant because I was tired and wanted to go to bed early. When I arrived, there was only one other person in the restaurant the waiter was very friendly, but it was a new menu, so he didn’t know much about it. I placed my order and waited. The waiter brought me my glass of wine and water that I drank. About 45 minutes later I asked the waiter if it was going to be much longer, I had already finished my wine and a half a liter of water. The waiter told me that it would be 2 more minutes, I was starving, so I asked for a piece of bread while I waited. The bread has hard and cold but food. The restaurant started filling up. People would order, and within 20 minutes, they would have their food. I was about 90 minutes in and still without my dinner. I finally got up and asked them to cancel my order. The manager apologized profusely and finally found my order, about 10 minutes later, I had my food. Apparently, they had never placed my order to the kitchen? The food was delicious and I wound up ordering dessert, but in total, I spent about 3 hours there for a “quick” dinner. They invited me back the next night to make it up to me, but I honestly didn’t want to relive the previous night. I would never go back.
Transportation: One of the reasons that I selected this hotel was because it was a “quick” ferry ride to my destination. It’s easier to catch the free ferry to the other side of the river than to try to commute on land for the hotel. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as it seems. The ferries are not very easy to navigate and they have signs and even if you stand in the correct line the people that take the tickets don’t follow the order of the lines so I got in the right line but was loaded onto the wrong ferry and wound up in the other side of London. Obviously it’s not the hotel’s fault but I quickly realized that you need to pack your patience and extra time if you decide to use this hotel. The next day I managed to get on the right ferry but wound up waiting an hour to catch the ferry ride back because all the boats were full. It’s simply not as easy as it looks.
Summary: The hotel is lovely and might be nice or a vacationer that is trying to save money but I would not recommend it for someone that is London for work because the commute into central London can be complicated; the hotel is not very accommodating and could care less if you sleep; your room is comfortable and the restaurant’s service is lacking. The hotel tied to comp a couple of things but I wound up sick and tired from the whole experience. There’s nothing that would make that better.

This is a good hotel that I regularly use when working in Canary Wharf. Rooms are variable due to the size of the hotel, but whenever I have been unsatisfied they do everything they can to resolve it. Great breakfasts and well equipped rooms - especially the huge TVs!! Beds are on the firm side but good quality. Excellent staff and service throughout.

I would definitely recommend the food at DoubleTree it was of five star quality. As part of my business, I am involved with food artisans and I acknowledge the kitchen and dining staff for taste and presentation.
When i was visited, there was a choice of three main dishes of a high quality (i had poached fish with roast veg) with a selection from 2-3 sides including an excellent salad. Desserts looked great but i resisted (just)!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the visit or the location. Superb day. A really outstanding experience at DoubleTree.
The layout of the building was open and inviting, with plenty of glass showing the incredible views of the river and historic vista. I was attending a business training seminar and mentioned it was my birthday on that day. I was delighted to receive a mini birthday cake that afternoon when I returned for a break - what a treat!
Thank you everyone at DoubleTree

Amazing view from the restaurant! And amazingly delicious breakfast - the best I’ve had!!! Rooms are clean, bathrooms - as well!! Also a nice complimentary RB4 connection to Canary Wharf, which was very convenient for me during my stay. I personally lacked some more daylight in my room - it felt a bit dull. That is one reason I am not giving 5 stars. The other one is that I got a wrong charge afterwards for a single dinner that I had at the restaurant - £94 sounds crazy!!!

Good hotel. Brilliant service. Breakfast was great with a massive variety of food. The boat across made it a little bit more special. Loved staying here.
The bed was massive as seen in picture. A+++

Really enjoyed our stay here and a great base to explore canary wharf with a complimentary regular ferry across the Thames. Helpful and friendly staff, lovely clean rooms with great views of the Thames. Food was good though cooked breakfast took quite long waiting in queue for item to be cooked. Good variety of buffet items though. Would stay here again.

Overall this is a comfortable hotel. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful. One thing missing is a mini bar within the room. Having cold water or soft drinks and snacks on hand is always a plus. Bathroom is tiny but it's manageable. Bed is super comfy! Room service for in room dining has been great! The pizza is delish! Morning breakfast arrives on time and is also great. I would stay here again
C. S.
Bit quirky layout being across 3 buildings but we were in the Wharf conversion with a fantastic view overlooking the Thames. The position of the bar and terrace overlooking the river and Canary Wharf is spectacular and we loved the free ferry across and took the water taxis up and down the river. Fantastic breakfast, great staff and car parking means we'll be back.
K. T.
We stayed here as was visiting family in East Ham. There is a car park provided under the hotel which is very easily accessible. The rooms are very clean and provide everything you need. Our room had a beautiful view of the river and Canary Wharf. The hotel provides a free river boat service to get you across the river (if you'd like to go to canary wharf) where there is plenty of places to eat and shop (even a Tesco express there if you're unfamiliar with the area). Staff are exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was lovely, all ingredients high quality and cooked wonderfully. High Recommended.
A. P.
We choose this hotel for afternoon tea with endless prosecco, good friendly reception and asked which sandwiches we would like.
Excellent food and tea and the bubbly kept flowing.
Comfortable restaurant with lots of people enjoying themselves, we finished the day with a trip across to Canary wharf on the hotels ferry.
Very good value.
K. A.
This is a modern, functional hotel. Its location is underwhelming. I'd only recommend as a business hotel.
Views over the river are nice, but not the most attractive part of the Thames.
Also transport links seen limited.
The level of service you'd expect at a Hilton. Clean and functional of course. The layout isn't oral, though I wasn't able to explore fully.
E.
Excellent location on Eastern/Southern bank of Thames river. Beautiful views of river depending on room. Ready access to the river bus and Tube at Canary Wharf and -2 minute ride with hotel ferry complimentary for guests. Breakfast is fantastic with fresh items.
L. P.
Friendly, helpful staff, very clean, amazing views of the Thames etc and this hotel is full of character yet extremely modern. Only down side was a tiny bathroom. A free ferry crossing is also offered. We will be returning! *****

I would like to say thank you for the great service what we received with my partner. We had our anniversary on 21st and we went for a 3 course dinner to DoubleTree Docklands. The location is beautiful, with Canary Wharf view! The menu wasn’t for us as we saw it, but the guy who looked after us made a very good impression and an amazing service, offered something else from the normal menu and just made us feel special. I’m not sure about the spelling Janos or Jamos. Great personality, entertaining and an incredible smile! Thank You! Keep it up :)
S. C.
We had two rooms at this hotel for my bridal and bridesmaid wedding preparation. The staff were wonderful. They were kind and helpful and I would especially like to thank Loren who went above and beyond to arrange our rooms and ensure that we had everything that we needed.
The room was clean, modern and had a wonderful view over the Thames and Canary Wharf.

Beautiful stay in amazing hotel. From check-in to check-out we were impressed! Great city break and getaway. We were greeted with a warm choco cookie at reception! We also had vip lounge access which was stocked with free drinks too! Our room was massive and in the loft! Beautiful setting
R. P.
Great rooms , but needs carpet cleaning.
Great location

Absolute value for money. We managed to get a room for £119 for 1 night when we booked 2 months in advance. Situated alongside the Thames, it has a 'free to guests' ferry to take you over to Canary wharf, with boats every 10 minutes. The room was very clean, and the staff were very polite. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!
d.
I was surprised at how affordable the rooms were. In the pictures everything looked great, modern and well done. In reality was even better. Is a nice place to relax, next to the river, in a quiet area.
So what is the issue? Not well connected Im afraid. Is not the end of the world, you can take a short ride in the bus or walk 20 min to Canada Water(nearest tube station). Just be aware, plan ahead, and enjoy one of the best priced hotel in London.
G. R.
Excellent property.. great views.. good rooms. Very helpful staff.. very good breakfast spread.. on the banks of thames river. Superb views.. they have a ferry service to Canary wharf, which makes it very convenient.. close to underground and bus services overall very satisfied.. recommended..

Nice hotel, Very handy for Canary Wharf. I also enjoyed the river boat trip into town which is frequent and doesn't take long. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Staff helpful and friendly. Bathroom needed to be refurbished. It has an executive lounge but it's not as good as others in the chain. Hence 3 or 4 stars
D. B.
Lovely hotel. Great view over the river Thames. Really enjoyed my stay with hubby. Parking was very useful as we could leave our car for longer after check out and had a walk near Thames. Would come back. Recommended

Located on the Docklands side with an excellent free ferry shuttle service to Canary Wharf. Lovely large warm cookie offered on check-in which is a nice touch. Look to stay in the block above the reception or the block furthest away from the restaurants as these were recently refreshed and avoid the ground floor rooms, Level 0. Breakfast was typical good Hilton choice with friendly staff. For those in an Executive Room, the executive lounge is located next to the car and down some stairs. The hotel's general manager Mr. Dean Rigby takes the operation of his hotel very seriously and has a professional approach to dealing with issues. If you do have any major issues that reception can't resolve to your satisfaction, ask for Mr. Rigby. Rooms facing the river/Canary Wharf offer a stunning view at night.

Attended a wedding last Saturday. Arrived the Friday, the staff lovely and the welcome desk and check in was perfect. My first issue, we were offered complementary cookies to which no nut free option was offered; so being a nut allergy sufferer I wasn't able to enjoy the little treat. The room was fantastic, clean and spacious 10/10 nothing to fault. Next issue: Room service, £50 for two fish and chips heavily salted, with watery mushy peas that had no flavour, which was £15.50p each; then not to mention two 330ml diet coke at £4.50p each; and a bottle of water for around the same price as the diet coke, and to top it off £5 room service charge. The service charge I can understand but the fact that the food was subpar and the diet coke was way over priced I feel a bit cheated. And this was also reflected in the wedding dinner, baring in mind I knew the price for each head was £75 , the portion size and quality of the food for a prestigious, hotel was lower than I expected. To which I understand why a lot of the guest staying at the hotel order food in. To extend on this further on this, for three double rum and cokes the price was £50. I have been to other high star hotels and have never seen prices like this. I do generally get the feeling you're paying for the location rather than the quality. My next issue was the state in which the table cloth for the wedding ceremony was in. If I was the bride and saw the state it was in, baring in mind I would've paid for the level of service a dirty table cloth is not acceptable. It is the little things like this that make or brake a hotel stay. On a positive note the hotel staff during the wedding celebrations were 10/10 and very attentive, as being a guest I would love to say thank you.

Very welcoming, cookies on arrival, overall a lovely stay. Amazing breakfast buffet. Very good price too 👌🏼 Breakfast with a view of the Thames on a sunny November morning had to be the icing on the cake 😊

Nestled on the banks of the Thames, the DoubleTree is a mix of old and new(ish) spread over a few buildings. Checking in is easy, and you get the usual hot cookies, but finding your room from there could take some time in the maze of corridors, floors and lifts; listen to the instructions given! Once in our room, a sixth floor junior suite, everything was as expected - clean, working and spacious. Normal rooms are still a decent size, but upgrading makes for a more pleasant existence. We had dinner in the bar, which was perfectly acceptable, but the Executive Lounge was a tad cold and unwelcoming. Breakfast was overrun and service was slow, but it appeared that there was either a huge surge in customers at one time, or an unusual lack of staff. Quality didn't dip, though. For the price paid (well under £100) and even including parking (£16 and a tad right for room!) this is an excellent option if you need to be near the Rotherhithe or Docklands area, especially as there's a free boat across the river.
D. S.
This is an ok hotel. Probably 4* in facilities but certainly not in service, friendliness, helpfulness or cleanliness. The hotel is pleasant from outdoors and some areas indoors.
There are 2 restaurants but we only used it for breakfast due to the expensive menu. The breakfast was extensive in choice and availability, but many of the hot food options were cold unfortunately. There were options for gluten-free, milk-free and vegetarian. The cost is £16 for adults and £8 for children. I personally didn't feel it was worth the price.
There are lovely views of Canary wharf from reception area and along corridors. The free ferry service across the Thames to Canary wharf is good, and underground can be accessed there. There are buses from the roadside too but they take about an hour to reach Westminster area, with a change half way. It is possibly more suited to business people accessing the City.
This was our first time in London as a family and we chose this hotel as it has rooms to accommodate 5, and was within our budget. We quickly regretted our choice. We were given a family room on the 5th floor with a city view which meant we could see the shard etc in the distance which was quite pretty at night. There were 2 double beds and a sofa bed, a tiny patio with a sliding door and a second window which had a screw holding it closed. There is a large smart TV, a fridge, a hairdryer, iron with ironing board and a safe. The sofa bed mattress appeared to be older than me and was really uncomfortable for my son. The bathroom window looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months and as it was beside the shower over the bath, was covered in soap scum and some black mould stains. The bathroom roof also had black mould stains. There were 2 ill-fitting drawer and cupboard doors. The bottom of the sink leaked over the floor and was finally repaired after asking 2 different days. I reported to a staff member on our first morning that the room wasn't great and he promised to do what he could but nothing happened. We had to ask for help with the internet to obtain a code to enter for the promised free WiFi, as this wasn't explained at all at check in. The smart TV stopped working on any channel on our final morning which was when the Rugby World Cup final was showing, and which we had desired to watch before checking out. We attempted to phone reception over 8 times with no reply and ended up watching it on my husband's phone. This was a great disappointment. No explanation or apology was given as we checked out and all was said that we didn't owe anything. There was no thanks given to us for staying etc. Thoroughly sour staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

A normal avarage American hotel. The front desk hostess were nice but that was all. The restaurant service was really bad and rude. The boat is not the most convenient way of transportation from the hotel. They would not answer the phone when you called for help from your room. I had to get dressed and go to the front to talk to someone and ask for shampoo. Came back to our room 5:00 pm and still no cleaning as they were short handed. There are better hotels for sure.

Great hotel next to the Thames. You can arrive by boat if you get off the tube at Canary Wharf. Hotel layout is a bit odd but the rooms themselves are nice. As I'm Hilton Gold I got an upgrade to a deluxe room with balcony. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Tourist's review! The location of this hotel makes it more of a business hotel for the Canary Wharf area, I believe, but we're frugal tourists and the reasonable rates here compared to hotels nearer the "middle of the action" made it worth a try. What a great choice we made! Our room was comfortable, modern, and well-appointed. Service throughout our stay was nothing short of amazing, except one minor issue I'll mention shortly. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the buffet breakfasts in the morning, and both the servers and chefs were engaging, cheerful, and eager to handle our every request. Housekeeping was impeccable. We had a minor air conditioning issue in our first room, which wasn't a problem until our last day when the weather had turned quite warm; after trying to fix it, the engineer had the front desk move us to another room nearby, no problem (their attention to it was unbroken until we were comfortable). We also enjoyed the tea service, served riverside with delicious sandwiches, pastries, and scones. We had one dinner in the hotel's restaurant, which was very good and with the usual attentive service, but service from the bar was mysteriously slow (only a handful of people in the bar; we had food on the table before our first round of drinks arrived, and second round was also a long time in coming--seemed like a coordination problem). Ferry service across to Canary Wharf (included) was convenient and quick. Free wi-fi was reliable and fast. We found that the savings of staying in this somewhat "outlying" hotel (tourism-wise) more than made up for the cost of our taxis to and from the tourism centers, and the ambiance of the hotel and warmth of the staff were welcome bonuses. I should also mention that the hotel's venue, built in and around an old shipyard with its dry dock intact and integrated into the landscape, made for a charming and interesting facade to the hotel from its grounds and looking across the river, and picturesque views from the rooms. I would happily stay here again, and recommend this fine hotel to anyone for tourist or business travel.

Pretty interesting place. Had never been to a converted hotel in this format. Very clean and enjoyable. Doesn't get full marks because the food was not great - it was just OK - the lounge was tiny and very hot, and the reception staff on checking in were a bit lost, and despite my pleas, ended up still not adding my HHonors to my stay. Had to correct that at checkout.
N. M.
Excellent, breakfast was fantastic and chef was very polite, friendly and professional. Room was comfortable and hotel staff polite and friendly. Hotel was very clean and all staff were great nothing to much trouble.
Had an amazing time and we will be back.

It's a nice and clean hotel. The complimentary fair to Canary Wharf is nice. Food in the restaurant is good but unfortunately the restaurant service is rather slow and staff will walk past you without asking if you would like another drink or anything until you flag them down. Please note that if you will be staying here the subway does not operate until after 5am so if you have an early flight you will need to ask for a taxi to be ordered which takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to arrive.

The room was comfortable, the facilities were great, location was spot on for our requirements and the breakfast was lovely. Not a five star as the check in was a bit of a mess. We had three rooms booked and trying to get checked in to them was hard work followed by one of the room keys not working. That wouldn't put me off going back as the rest of the experience was great but did knock a star off for me as it was the first impression and I think should be seamless.
C. D.
Lovely hotel, staff were really friendly and attentive. Some in our group didn't get their cookie, which they were disappointed by, but I had mine so I didn't care haha. Rooms were quite big and spacious, except for the bathroom, the toilet was too close to the wall.
J. M.
I love this hotel. My room was comfortable. My bed was comfortable. Everything that you expect from the Hilton chain was 5 star about this hotel as far as my stay was concerned. I enjoyed being able to ride the boat to the other side of the river to go to the mall and come back. My continental breakfast was ok. Depending on who was cooking determined if the individual knew how to make an egg white. Some days I was able to get it and on other days I was told we dont have it even though it was as simple as cracking the egg and separating the whites from the yolks. I also dined at the restaurant within the hotel I had the wings which were not as spicy but otherwise worth trying and good.
P. S.
Our room was cold and the heating didn't work, we complained and got moved to another room. This one was cold but not as much as the first. The heating did work but it seemed to be limited. Everytime the maid had been in to clean our keycards were reset, so we had to swing by reception every day to get them fixed. Staff were polite. The free use of the ferry over to canary wharf was great.

A beautiful hotel with nice large room sizes that truly reminded me the standard of excellence I've come to appreciate in the United States. We received a ton of great tips and suggestions about things to do, food to eat, and how to get around the city of London during our stay here. The hotel is conveniently located right on the Thames river and has a complimentary ferry ride to the nearest public transit ferry station so it makes it very easy to access the entire city right from the hotel. Also about its excellent location, being right near access points to all the action yet being just outside the congestion fee zone, allowed us to park our vehicle and get everywhere we wanted to go without having to worry about our car or paying to enter the city.
I had a great experience here and I'll be looking to stay here again next time I come.
A. C.
Really liked the communal spaces the hotel offers. That alongside their free and quick access to canary wharf makes this a great place to stay.
The rooms themselves are okay. Their (at least mine was) located in a part of the hotel that in contrast to the communal spaces is very cold and looks a little run down. That said the real let down was bed :( was way too hard for my taste.
A. M.
Although the hotel itself is modern and looks great. I was not Impressed by the service. At check in was sent to my room without a room key as she forgot to put it in the room information card. Also had to ask for the cookies and water as was also not given these. Called reception via telephone from room and found the guy quite abrupt and rude. Breakfast was very nice. Also the car park shutters were down and wouldn't go up whenever we tried to enter the hotel car park. Had to keep walking to reception to then wait until someone went down to car park and bring the shutters up each time we left and came back. Could have been a better stay.

Good quality hotel, good location for London Stadium. Nice view towards Canary Wharf. Free shuttle boat over the Thames. Very swift and friendly check in. Easy to find room. Nice room, albeit quite small. Very nice bathroom. Very good buffet breakfast, superb choice.
N.
Lovely hotel. Beautiful views. Comfortable rooms and a lovely bar! I love the little ferry too, it's such a nice touch.

We stayed here on our 4 days trip to London, family of 6. Since I enjoy staying with Hilton family hotels I picked this one up due to its location on river & room sizes compared to other downtown hotels.
Staff all over was super nice and accommodating.
Rooms for Europe standard were good size for (family room) with plenty of room, though wish they took some space from room to make bathroom a bit larger, sink was so tiny was hard to wash hands in it.
Breakfast area was great & again the staff will do what it takes to make you comfortable.
Now the stuff I said not up to Hilton standard but not show stopper.
1. Executive lounge, plain and simple avoid it, it's tiny with nothing in it (you can get free water & soft drinks) coffee machine doesn't work. Good news staff at Bar can get you coffee & not charge you plus view better. Suggestions eliminate that room.
2. No business center... That was a shocker considering hotel is in business district! Again staff was more than accommodating & let us use computer to print our tickets.
3. I can see some hotels have no pool but a nice hot tub would been a good touch.
4. Internet isn't worth the hassel. Feels you are back on dial up
Anyway overall good place

My visit was for a breakfast meeting which has been held at Double Tree by Hilton in the last 3 years. I was impressed with the quality of service, the ambience and the facilities available in the meeting room. The breakfast was top notch and I highly recommend the hotel
F. P.
Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable room, however I had a leaky shower head causing a fair amount of water to end up on the floor of the bathroom. Breakfast was quite good except the area is not big enough and had to queue for about 10 minutes to be seated. The fried eggs were also quite under cooked. Small gripes with an otherwise pleasant hotel.
M. D.
On arriving to the hotel me and my partner were greeted by a lovely girl on the desk. She answered all of our questions and made sure our stay was going to be great as we were celebrating our anniversary.
Our room was very nice and breakfast in the mornings was really good.
Everyone from the reception to the waitresses and bar staff were so polite and very helpful.
Definitely will be staying here again :)
K. S.
From the very first the staff made us very welcome and booked us in quickly and professionaly. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a king size which was as big as any we have stayed in. We eat in the restaurant the first night and again and the staff are very professional and friendly. The breakfasts were well cooked and nicely presented with enough to eat for anyone! We would highly recommend this hotel and would choose to stay there again

This by far has to one of the best hotels i have been too, have visit 4 times with my wife but each time the place has got even better, beautiful room with a beautiful view.. wonderful food served by a host of fantastic staff, every member i came into contact with was friendly and made our stay welcoming..
Only one fault.. I didnt get to stay long enough.. and thats my own!!
Thank you double tree!!

Really like this hotel. Not sure what the original buildings were, but they’ve been beautifully converted into a hotel. Staff has been amazing and the breakfast is very good. Downside is that the easiest transportation is on the Thames Clipper - which although very fast and convenient, is expensive and doesn’t work with the Oyster visitor card travel cap (read before terms before you travel).

We had a lovely stay here whilst visiting London. I would have given the hotel a 5 star review however we had to wait an extra hour for our room to be ready which meant we were running late to a concert, but we were offered a complementary drink while we waited and the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and we had stunning views over the River Thames, the complementary ferry rides were great to get over the river to Canary Wharf. All in all, we would stay here again.

The bottomless Pimms Afternoon Tea was lovely. They topped up our Pimms without us having to keep on asking for an hour and the sandwiches and cakes was a good variety. The scones was large and tasty and you can have unlimited tea, coffee, latte or cappuccino.
The table we had was facing the river so a nice view. Staff was friendly. Only one negative and that was the bread on one of the sandwiches could have been fresher but overall I enjoyed it.
T. M.
The hotel staff were friendly and couldn't do more to help. I like hotel location as it's very convenient to Canary Wharf via a ferry service which is complimentary to hotel guests. Stopped at reception on the way where we were offered to …

We really loved the experience being with Hilton Dockland Riverside. Would definitely get back next. THE STAFFS WERE VERY WELCOMING AND PROFESSIONAL.
C. P.
Excellent service, very attentive and friendly staff. Rooms vary - sounds like the ones in the new building are better. Did was good for the business function we had there. The conference food was to avoid. Breakfast buffet is ok if you avoid the pre-made warm stuff. I really liked the pastries.
C. M.
The food was quite good. The location was fantastic. But the best part of the experience was the service. Andre was kind, patient and so so caring. The perfect host. Will visit again only thanks to his amazing service. Thank you Andre..
I. W.
Staff are are outstanding and friendly and there are some great views of the river from some of the rooms. Make sure you ask for a view as our original upgraded room looked out over a tennis court and construction site, the television was also awkwardly located compared to where the bed was placed. Front desk moved us to a better room. Knocked off a few stars as the building and rooms are a little tatty, could do with a lick of paint. It's also quite inconvenient to reach by public transport as is about a 20-30 minutes and a ferry journey from the closest tube station.
T. B.
The rooms are nice, big enough for me and my family. The breakfast was amazing, better than most. I had a nice view from my room, and there were a few nice places to eat nearby the hotel. There was also a nice park across the street, good for jogging or taking stroll. Overall, a very nice hotel.
E. M.
Me and my boyfriend had a fantastic stay for his birthday. We were particularly impressed with the staff in the bar and resturant who made our stay exceptional.
We had an executive room which wasnt as big as I thought it would be, however it was clean and comfortable. We had trouble getting into the executive lounge as our card kept playing up a few times. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I will return.

We checked in to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, London around 7pm, warm welcome, clear instructions given about use of ferry for transportation in the morning, where our room was and about breakfast. The room was a decent size and seemed in good order. Neither cold or overly warm. An issue with the bedding due to an allergy was resolved promptly. We got a good night's sleep and enjoyed a plentiful breakfast in the sizeable restaurant. We departed by ferry back to Canary Wharf. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
A. C.
Great place, calm and chic. The breakfast is the best I ever ate in that 4 stars level of hotel. The choice is normal for that level, but the quality is far better.
The view (I can see the Thames from the window of my room) is beautiful and the people of the staff are all very nice and helpful.
Great hollyday in this hotel.
P. A.
Everything you would expect from a DoubleTree. My room was great and I even had a balcony with a view. Lovely breakfast, again with a view of Canary Wharf. Shuttle ferry is great and runs late into the evening. Can't wait to visit again to be honest.
P. L.
The room was really nice. Modern but with a bit of local history.
You can take a free river taxi across the water if you want.
I didn't eat dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was decidedly average. There is a breakfast chef if you fancy an omlete but the rest is either brought in (croissants, pastries etc which were soft, not crispy) or sat in water bath that were just a little soggy for me.
L. V.
Check in was friendly and efficient. Free baked cookie on arrival. Fantastic gorgeous white fluffy sheets. Outdoor smoking area for those who must with night heating. Great service all around. Ferry goes every 10 mins to canary wharf and its free for guests. Really really loved this hotel and it's staff. The photos are each from the opposite side of the river. The hotel is the lit up orange one
R. R.
Went for the Bottomless Prosecco Afternoon Tea deal as found on Groupon. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant looks right over the river. The food is lovely, and not too heavy. The drink is absolutely bottomless for the full hour and includes a coffee. After the food, we sat outside on the riverfront with our last top-up. The staff were friendly and professional. It was a lovely way to spend a bank holiday Friday afternoon.
D. J.
I did not stay but came to the bar to meet folk. It was a Sat night, empty and soulless. Head up to the library bit if it's available. They have open fires and comfy chairs. Hotel prices though and food was nothing to write home about.
B. B.
The hotel itself is situated in a perfect position on the quiet side of the themes with a regular ferry over to canary wharf included free of charge. We got a free cookie on arrival which is a great way to win me over. Our room was lovely with excellent views friendly helpful staff too
C. P.
Lovely facilities, really clean and just by the river.
E. M.
Such a wonderful hotel. It's recently become a Doubletree instead of a Hilton. Still the same brand. Pricey breakfast but very friendly staff at the bar. A few gentlemen gave us tips on places to eat in the area. Short, pleasant and free ferry ride to Canary Wharf. Close to many restaurants and bars. Canary Wharf station is close by.
R. H.
Great hotel. Excellent location on the Thames opposite Canary Wharf and with great public transport links. It's a little outside Central London and so is much quieter than the hotels there, and has bigger rooms and more facilities.
N. O.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Toilets beautifully decorated! Food great, we had the champagne afternoon tea. Great idea to get the water taxi over, apart from if you've had too much prosecco on the way back! Great day had by all. Very glamorous location.
A. S.
Had a great stay, fast check in, spacious, well furnished, clean room with a good view. Good range of options available at breakfast. Very convenient if needing to commute to canary wharf, with the complimentary ferry boat service available. Highly recommended and will be staying again in the future.
I. L.
My family and I have used this hotel quite a few times now and it never disappoints. The staff are all very friendly and there is a good breakfast on hand in the morning. The free to guests ferry takes you to the other side of the Thames where a short walk delivers you to both under and over ground services. There is usually parking available art the hotel for a small fee or on street parking just outside.
L. C.
Awesome cookie on arrival, the hotel has its own ferry! Breakfast was really good loads of options. The rooms were comfy and clean, modern and well decorated but beginning to show age a little.
M. L.
I have stayed at a lot of Hilton properties over the years, but this was by far my best experience!
The personnel at this hotel truly made the experience even better and I would like to specially thank three of them: Mr. Franck at the front desk who was incredibly accommodating throughout our entire 8-day stay and made sure my parents and I were satisfied with our experience. There was also a bartender who went out of his way to make me a hot toddy on the evening of Aug. 26th when I was sick (even though it wasn't on the menu). I would also like to thank the woman working the front desk around 8 AM on Aug. 28 who helped my mother get us a driver to the airport in under 10 minutes and managed to diffuse an incredibly stressful morning when my mom realized our flight was at 11:30 not 2:30. Seriously - you saved us that morning!
Even the breakfast staff were wonderful and handled the overwhelming and stressful rushes with ease every morning. There was a gentleman who made omelets every morning who was so funny and welcoming and was especially good with children in line.
Our two rooms were exactly what we ordered and had awesome views of the river/lock! Air conditioning worked great, really great free wifi, and comfortable beds!
m. K. H.
It is fantastic place. Nice location and staffs are friendly and helpful.
P. M.
Went for a function. Beautiful building, fantastic location. Good car parking facilities - once we made a brief phone call, as directed on a sign. However, my friend and I went for a drink in the bar and we got a 75ml bottle of sparkling water and it was a ridiculous £6!! Outrageous!!! not happy. The staff behind the bar were very pleasant and friendly but the staff at reception were very abrupt when we asked for help and the staff who served behind the bar for our function were grumpy. Shame really. Wouldn't use it as a function event myself.
D. S.
Nice Hotel with recently renovated rooms. The breakfast is great. Canary Wharf can quickly and seamlessly reached via Ferry across the river. Staff is always friendly and helpful. For sports, you can take a run along the Thames or go to the gym.
L. J.
The facilities are good but the service can be greatly improved. Access to parking is troublesome as most of the times the closest parking is full and they use a local one as alternative (is a short walk but not nice if you are carrying luggage or is raining).
The food in the pub and restaurant is not particularly nice and, except for one of the waiters who was fantastic, the rest were grumpy and unhelpful.
Can improve with the right management but has a long way to go.
D. F.
Incredable staff, they really where lovely. Comfortable and clean rooms and kinda cool that you have to get a ferry (1min journey from canary wharf side) to get to the hotel. Highly recommend this place and go king size if you can.
T. R.
Had a really nice stay. The staff are friendly and the views are great. They have a ferry system from the hotel to the other side of the river every 15mins. (Canary wharf Jubilee line) The breakfast has a great selection to. The restaurant there has nice dinner options but can be a bit pricey.
T. L.
Due to storm Doris I needed too stay in London and although this hotel was a little off my route I am glad I stayed. The rooms are will appointed but to be honest it was the staff that really made the stay special. From Miriam on reception smoothly helping me to change room, to the Brazilian chef who made a delicious omelette to Chef Holly who bought me waffles, berries and a laugh. She also listen to my Feedback which was nice. Just a stone's throw from Canary Wharf so well placed for there. Highly recommended in my book.
I.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The free river ferry take you direct to the hotel, or a 20 minute walk from Canada Water tube made access to London very good. Cookie on check-in is always nice and room was very pleasant with no noise that I noticed (free bottled water for Honours menbers too). In the access hallway some doors are looking rather tired (broken handles etc) but overall the hotel was great quality.
H.
Lovely location right on the river with a view of Canary Wharf, especially of an evening. They run a complimentary ferry service to and from Canary Wharf riverside. The rooms are decorated with a great theme but are very creaky, floors, doors and beds! and the windows can be covered with a huge wooden board which actually scrapes over the vent below, bit of a design malfunction there! The staff were super friendly and helpful, even to the point of checkout when drinks had been put on our room but we we'rent even in the hotel at that time and when we were in the bar we'd been paying cash.
D. B.
We went to the hotel to have a drink by the river. There is very little guidance in the lobby to inform non residents of the services available.
The bar was understaffed. Despite several staff coming and milling around the bar tender was offered no support to serve four or five customers. Tables were left with glasses and sticky. The service given by the bar tender was very good and the cocktails well made.
As a well positioned hotel in a dense residential area, we were hoping for more. Lots of potential. Not great

Stayed in this hotel on the 27th July 2017 and wow what a beautiful hotel it took us awhile to find it but that's because we wasn't 100% where it was but when we did find it we was a bit like its too far from centre of London but then we walked in to the hotel and we was so happy the distance was forgotten fast and very polite at the front deck check in was easy and handed us warm cookies our room was amazing and very clean the bed was so comfy I wanted to take the bed home. The bathroom was small but it was nice the room was very big enough room for all our luggage had a beautiful view from our balcony. The ferry was nice. We walked from our hotel to London Bridge it took us 1hr 40mins and it was such a nice walk. We have stayed in London before and paid £250 for one night stay at this hotel we paid £124 for one night stay and this hotel was perfect. We will be staying at this hotel from now on every time we come to London perfect rooms prefect staff nice view and very relaxing rooms. 10/10 will be back some time this year. 🙂

Been for this afternoon tea on a groupon voucher many time!. They have a new chef (Matthew?) Who we had a nice chat with and he explained some of the new items on the menu. They're really good at stopping up the bottomless prosecco and especially when done on a groupon is GREAT value for money. They give you way more than the 60 mins stipulated and very sweet and friendly about it. Dont have any other experience of the hotel though except to say there is a bus stop right outside and it's easy to get to from Canning town.
Note: the slope up to the hotel is ridiculously steep.
A. K.
The staff make this an exceptionally wonderful hotel, the location on the River and the overall ambience just add to that experience. Thank you.
H. K.
Was just passing as on a walk along the Thames Path but took the opportunity to take a look around. Was pleasantly surprised about how sprawling the accomodation is with lots of different areas of varying ambience. We saw a very happy wedding party in one area, people enjoying afternoon tea by the river in another with the potential for outside grilling in the corner. There is a coffee bar in reception which is a nice addition to a hotel lobby. There were many people having a drink in multiple bar areas, both inside & outside and the whole feel of the place was extremely appealing. We wished we could have stayed for a while longer. We did observe a long queue to check out or check in when we passed through at first but this was rapidly dealt with by the friendly & competent reception staff.

First time visiting double tree by Hilton it was an amazing place to stay at, the staff were kind very respectful. The food was so nice i would go back and stay at this hotel again best hotel ever I’ve experienced in life so far. I defo recommend it to all you guys out there if your looking to go or stay in London. Everything was brilliant the bedroom was nice and big beds were comfortable and when it comes to hygiene it was spotless don’t have enough worlds to describe the place.
P. S.
We stayed 2 nights on our last days in London. Even though the building isn't new, the rooms are clean. My room has a balcony and we can see Thames river.
Free ride crossing the Thames River by small ferry to Canary Wharf.
The hotel offers variety of berakfast and I was very happy about the taste.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay here.

Wonderful experience, barring a few setbacks. Upon check-in, there was a huge (and hostile) tour group, and only one desk attendant. This was managed for me, but resulted in an unfortunate confrontation with the group's tour coordinator, who felt he should video my check-in. Without consent. This was ultimately dealt with. Second, the fire alarm went off fairly often on the Tuesday I checked out. I got a late check-out, so this was also ultimately moot.
Irrespective of these setbacks, the hotel is indeed lovely, on the bank of the Thames in a converted warehouse (?), with great ambiance and views. Be advised that the hotel is quite remote. If you don't taxi, Canada Water station is the nearest tube, and you'll need to take a bus ~7 stops. Not much in the way of dining nearby outside of the hotel - but you can get to relatively nearby Southwark from Canada Water. There's also the Surrey Docks Farm just 7 minutes walk away as a family activity. I'm crazy fond of animals and nature, so it suited me as a diversion between business meetings.
All in all, I loved it, but I like my hotels quiet and remote. Someone looking for a place with action nearby might choose another.
P. D.
Very nice hotel, I love the fact that when you check in you're given an amazing cookie. The hotel seems a bit cramped for space but the rooms are large enough and well maintained. The beds are good, I had a comfortable nights rest and overall I was pleased with my stay there. The car park is a little bit out of the way.

Awesome river side place, if you want a water side room make sure you tell them. We did not and got a wall side room. Good size room. Bar and restaurant onsite, room was dusty but the probably don't get much time to clean each room. They are very helpful

We booked an Executive Suite for our Wedding Anniversary. Digital Check-in was smooth and stress free. Great location with spectacular views of the city. Facilities were good, but the rooms could be better if they had a phone in the living room, and Sky TV instead of freeview. The Staff were polite, friendly and approachable. Ample parking on site. This place caters to the needs of business executives, tourists as well as couples. Aron and Elvio were very hospitable and went above and beyond our Expectations. We had a memorable experience and look forward to staying again.

Booking information: King Junior Executive suite- 2 adults and a teenager
Lovely property with amazing views of the River Thames if you are on the river side of property. We were fortunate to be in a riverside junior suite and had a small balcony and several windows to take advantage of the view.
Upon arriving and waiting in one of the longest check-in lines I have ever been in at a Doubletree Property, we were told that our room was not ready and would need another 30 minutes. We weren’t too bothered by this as we did arrive a bit before official check in. We returned 45 minutes to an hour later and were given the keys and more complete hotel information. Entered the room and at first look it was very tidy and clean and we were impressed with the décor and views.
All in all, this is a nice property with helpful staff. However, we had some things that just didn’t align with the usual Doubletree standards. Here is a compressed list:
Even after having extra time to ready the room (room was not ready when we arrived to check in) the room was not prepared to usual standards or room needs. For example, no ice bucket, no sheets for the sofa bed, and not the correct amount of towels/glasses for the number of guests. And when I requested proper linens I was argued with and had to insist that I wanted to use the sofa bed for an accompanying child who was listed on the reservation.
Always a long queue at front desk/reception- full length of lobby. Need more reception staff.
No AC- cool evening on arrival & opened windows/balcony to get a nice breeze. Next morning the temperature was 24.5C (76F) and climbing. Front desk was alerted and & told that maintenance would investigate. Arrived back at the end of the day temperature was now 26.5C (80F) after having all the curtains pulled to help keep it cooler.
Attempted to speak with the Duty Manager, but was never able to as there was a long line of other guests with the same problem. We witnessed the Duty Manager get into a heated argument with a guest in the middle of the lobby, several other guests wished us luck as they had gotten nowhere with the manager, and the manager tell me he was too busy to speak with me and walked off.
The staff that was left to deal with all of us at midnight were very apologetic and tried to help as they were able, but all major decision roads lead back to the Duty Manager and he was now missing in action. We decided to call in a night and try to sleep as best as we could.
Temperature in the room when we woke up the next morning was 28C (82.5F) and only 21C (70F) outside. Spoke with the morning Duty Manager who was helpful and tried to offer what she could but as we were checking out there was not much she could do. After all the issues back and forth, we ended up missing our outbound train and were forced to buy a new set of tickets finally arriving home at 1 am instead of 6pm.
I have never been more disappointed in a hotel. I decided it was best to compress the issues into a shorter review but the list is extensive and there were multiple opportunities to “Make It Right”, first starting with being honest with guests and offering suggestions. I realize it can be overwhelming with that many problems happening all at the same time, but as the management in the hospitality industry, it is your job to listen, offer solutions, and try to make your guests stay as pleasant as possible.

Nice hotel in a very historic part of London. Excellent check-in, where I received a chocolate chip cookie for the evening coffee. Reasonable breakfast restaurant. Room was a bit too hot and no instructions on how to lower temperature. Free ferry to Canary Wharf.

Lovely place, been before .. worth the money in comparison to other places, few free disabled places to park ..staff helpful .. lovely spacious rooms with everything needed.. great quality n variety for breakfast with very helpful n the friendliest of staff .. Good areas to sit and chill, fab views!! Would visit again-Many thanx!

We had an enjoyable stay. Would have been five star but for the air conditioning in the room which made it like sleeping in an oven. Slept with the windows wide open for two nights. Staff were very friendly and apologetic but I would have preferred it to have been sorted.
R. H.
No room service. Very old building. Water was leaking. The toilet too close to the side and small. The wash basin very small.
T. M.
Nice meal, staff member on the blackjack table was alot of fun. Night slightly ruined by being stuck on south side of the river when the ferry stopped 23:55pm. I was completely lost & didnt know how to get home, not that the ferry staff cared when i told them

Pros:
++ Incredibly friendly employees, in every layer of the staff. I was pleasantly surprised.
+ Clean, neat room complete with all details to make your stay comfortable.
+ Very clean bathroom with a clean bathtub. I didn't detect anything odd or filthy.
+ Very complete, delightful breakfast with a wide array of choices.
+ Free ferry rides.
Cons:
- The airconditioning may be a little broken. When I first came into the room it was so freezing I had to put on my jacket, so I turned it off. As the weather warmed up a little, I turned it back on at the lowest setting, but it seems "Arctic Frost" is the only setting the airco understood.
- When I arrived on the first day my room wasn't ready yet so I decided to hand over my baggage to the reception and explore London for a few hours. Upon returning my bagage was missing. I got it back after a while but it turned out the person at the reception who took my baggage in the morning was supposed to give me a sort of sticker that proves the baggage is mine, which she didn't do.
- The toilet didn't flush from time to time. Very awkward the first time this happened.
- The basin sink plug was broken, so I had no choice but to freshen up with the water constantly running.

Can I just say what an amazing few days.We was served by someone called molly and her ownership skills was amazing when stressed she tried not to show to us waiting she gave my little girl a colouring book and pens which made breakfast so much easier. Everyday without a doubt molly was happy my girls was excited to see her and I honestly can’t thank her enough. Overall service was okay and room was amazing looking over Canary Wharf other then that staff was all friendly but will defiantly be returning!! Thank you so much molly got your hard work and as we spoke about you can’t do big things with life.

Everything about this hotel is amazing, for example: the hotel is cozy, staff is friendly, they gave us cookies at checkin :), it has a huuuge tv, BUT the toilet in our room smelled like sewers and we couldn't even shower due to the smell. Also the hotel is pretty expensive for not that big rooms and a view to the stairs. All in all, the hotel is decent but not the best for a buck.
R. W.
We had afternoon tea. The servers who were doing the floor service were impeccable, their manners and attitude were wonderful, but there were two of them, and they were clearly understaffed. There was a very busy tea room and two servers makes for mediocre experience. Waited ages for anything to be brought out, topped up on cheap Prosecco (one of us wasn’t drinking) and no coffee brought to the table, despite asking, because the two servers were so busy! I commend the two women on their service, they worked really well under the pressure, but the management was poor and they provided no help in the time we were there.

Outstanding cigar terrace with beautiful view. Everyone friendly. Great chats great service. The nonstop ferry transfers are handy. And the subway connections make it easy to roam. Will be back
F. P.
Lovely location, went here for dinner. Food was ok nothing to shout about. The decor in the restaurant was alright, but there was just something about it, left wanting. Think the only thing about this spot was the scenic view of the gentle rippling water and that fantastic city skyline at night. To be honest the Hilton brand is not what it used to be. Then again there is an awful lot of competition out there now. Still expected more though.
G. N.
This beautiful property is situated on the bank of River Thames. Opposite to famous Canary Wharf. One can avail ferry service from this hotel and have a joy ride on the river flow. Though walkable distance from 'canada water' metro station, one can avail bus services to this hotel too. Cool and serene place. Restaurant is just awesome. Happy holidaying.
I. S.
The room was in impeccable condition, supplied with everything a business traveler could need. The Internet connection was perfect. And the service was reliable, friendly and helpful even when not required or asked to do so.
I would recommend the hotel to everyone who has a stop in London.
The view is amazing and the experience memorable :)
J. K.
First looks amazing views are breathtaking, staff not engaging with customers, had to ask for drinks three times before we got the drinks, we left to the side for a while then about 30 minutes into our seating time we were then given food that was mixed up, staff didn't really know what they were doing, manager came apologized gave us the prosecco that we had been asking for, then another large group came in and we were once again left behind, had to keep asking for a re-fill. There was also a wedding party I think the staff were being used to attend them rather than our group, such a shame, so if your booking make sure you check if they are busy. We ended paying top money as discount from website was incorrect, poor show.

Let's start with the positive: I have stayed there a few times. Lovely to sit outside to eat breakfast in the sunshine and watch the boats. The ferry across to Canary Wharfe was useful and convenient. Highly recommend for a nice weekend away in London that's not gonna break the bank.
T. K.
Good location, as there's a ferry that would take you to the other side of the river free of charge during your stay in the hotel.
We had one bedroom suite, which had quick acces with lift near by (but unfortunately the nearest one was out of order). Private balcony was nice, with lovely views across the river. Unfortunately our bathroom door was not working properly and was very problematic on opening/closing.
Very friendly staff and with suits you have 24/7 access to executive lounge where complimentary drinks and snacks are available (hot drinks + cold beverages, alcoholic drinks are available from 6pm to 8pm only).
Order in-room food available 24/7 for additional charge.
We had breakfast included, was same as in other 4 stars hotels in London.
One member of staff knocked on the door and just opened it (we did not even realise that someone was knocking). But shut it straight away when saw our belongings in dining/guest room.
Other than that it was a lovely time, would come there to stay in suites again.
D. C.
Reception was nice but very busy, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pretty standard room, there was a card on the desk saying that every room comes with two complimentary bottles of water and a newspaper, although neither were there. Couldn't change the air con temperature which was annoying as it was a little cold. Secure underground car park, but if the main one is full you end up in car park 2 which is a little extra walk.
J. M.
Very good hotel with great links into London. Customer service is excellent, staff go that little bit further to make you comfortable and feel at home.
Some of the public areas are a little tired, but the rooms are generally up to scratch.
L. b.
Reception bar and restaurant pretty up to standard but rooms are tiny and not worth the money. Thankfully the free ferry to canary wharf whilst you stay is definitely value for money. Much easier than getting the bus to Canada water station. Overall, wouldn't stay again for the same price... But it is New Year after all...
D. C.
I like this hotel for work in canary wharf. Nice staff , food and bar Good. Super views. Intersting little ferry trip for canary wharf offices. Easily walkable to Canada water. Good value. Decent sized rooms. Gym needs an upgrade and coffee not very good.
A. B.
Had a lovely day for bottomless Prosecco thanks to the bar and waiting staff here. So lovely and fun, and really made the experience that much better. Thanks guys! Very good deal for what it was, nice tea, great views. Only downside was a bad smell but I guess that can’t be controlled seeing as you’re literally overlooking the skyline.
M. A.
Very good location.
Professional and courteous multilingual staff.
Very pleasant from the architectural point of view.
Great views on the river.
The restaurant is more of a pub, but the beer is pretty good. Got a great price for a Sunday night.
J. C.
Very good staff but rooms a little dark and although I had a river view, the windows were so dirty it was depressing. Breakfast was great, again the staff make this place and are to be commended, so helpful and really do go the extra mile. TV, as in many Hilton brand hotels, is over complicated and not worth the effort when you do find the channels!
B. v. N.
Nice hotel. Great location. Food is not great. Personnel is friendly, but strangly not all. Some are blunt and rude, whilst others are Hilton quality friendly. Odd difference. Rooms are nice and big. It was winter, but all areas were very warm.
V. W.
We were really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We'd booked months in advance as we were going to a thing at printworks. Loved our suite, the views in fact pretty much everything (aside from paying for parking but you can't have everything)
L. R.
I had a fantastic Time here at the DoubleTree Hilton hotel. The Staff are all so attentive always checking you are happy and your Glass is alwsys full of bubbly and your happy with the food. My friend didn't eat some of the sandwiches as they contained egg and the chef ask her what she likes and went and made fresh sandwiches on the spot and was Very happy to do so brilliant day we spent there.
T. M.
We have just spent a lovely overnight stay here and I'm really impressed. We did not eat lunch or dinner in the hotel but did use the bar for a night cap and the prices were very reasonable. Being Situated on the Thames means that there are …
H. v. A.
The DoubleTree Docklands is a very pleasant hotel. You can reach Canary Wharf conveniently by the ferry over the river Thames which actually moors straight at the hotel. The hotel is in a nice old warehouse with spacious rooms and in attached new buildings with smaller and also some spacious rooms. It houses also a decent restaurant AND the Blacksmith’s Arms is nearby, for pretty good pub grub. Hilton status well recognized and they do have a nice executive lounge. My favourite hotel when visiting the Wharf!
K. F.
The layout of this hotel is a bit unusual and this location is detached from Central London, but the rooms are well appointed and meet my expectations of the Double Tree brand. The signature warm cookie at check-in is great :-) I really enjoyed using the free Hilton ferry to get to the tube station at Canary Wharf. Front desk, room service, and other workers were all wonderful. Would recommend for business and leisure travelers alike.
D.
Wow this place is amazing. I wish I booked longer. We had a suite overlooking Canary Wharf and at night it was breathtaking. Also there is a free ferry to Canary Wharf for guests of the hotel. Would definitely go again.
T. D.
Great location with boat to mainland from outside hotel. We ordered a family room for 2 adults and 2 children but on arrival we were allocated a room for adults and a separate room for our small children. After complaining we were given a family suite. Breakfast was great with full English as well as continental options and check out was really quick.
C. “. M.
Service was good , free cookies when you arrived was a bonus and a free ferry pass to the Canary warf (other side of the river). Only a shame when it came to the restaurant / morning breakfast buffet service. I know it's usually busy but we noticed some people received a better service than we did. I thought the service should have been equal to all guests. Location wise is good and it's easily accessable to everything (tube, food and malls).
C. A.
Didn't stay at the hotel, just went for a couple of drinks at the hotel bar. The view is quite pleasant, since it's on a balcony right on the river, facing canary warf. Found the prices quite average for a hotel bar. I think they could benefit from a little music on the background. Good place to spend an hour on a pleasant summer evening, not so sure to be an option on windy days though.
G.
Very pleasant service and no complications at the reception. Good location and clean rooms. In my personal opinion i think that the best part about this hotell is the service from the staff and the location. And the breakfast aswell which is mixed and if you have any special desires or alergies you just tell the chef about it. It's also quite easy to find things around the area. The fitness centre is ok and have the basic equipment that you need if you would like to get a workout.
V. E.
Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and breakfast was great. However the rooms are severely outdated, no Wi-Fi, no convenient powerplugs and a little dark. For a brand like this I was suprised. Would give 3,5 if I could but 4 would be too much.
M. E.
A fine hotel in a really nice location with great views at night of the towers at canary warf. Spent two nights here and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual fare for a Hilton and was well presented with good service. The bar staff was knowlageable and made me a very nice old fashioned. Pleased with my stay would recommend.
r. h.
Hotel was clean and the shuttle service across the Thames was great. Service at reception and the bar slow at times, they had a kids party going on whilst we were there and they didn't have enough staff to cope with both tthis and their paying guests.
L. S.
Stayed here for the first time yesterday. Top quality service and a great room with a nice view looking out to thames.
Best part is a u get a free freshly baked cookie on arrival!
Will definitely stay here if I was to travel down to London again as it was also in a quite area, with a free ferry over the river to Canary Wharf.
D.
Great hotel with excellent connections to Canary Wharf. The complementary ferry service across to Canary Wharf (for guests and their guests) is great and frequent. Rooms are generous in size and well equipped. I have stayed here twice and will be back again.
D. F.
I have to complaine about the service here i am sorry to say. This could be an outstanding place great views great location but there seems to be a lot of management and not enough staff. Don't get me wrong there are great staff as well here but you will find your self waiting to get served while 3 Managers just stand there and watch. I am here now and I felt like walking out. I only ordered a coffee. Come on Hilton liven up.
T. M. C.
An interesting hotel located along the Thames river. The hotel is housed in former warehouses when the wharf area was in used. Rooms are ok with comfortable bed. Wifi is stable and sufficient. Breakfast offerings are good with a friendly cook to cook your eggs to order. There's a nice pub next to the hotel.
N. T.
Good location for South London. Free parking is a bonus. Great view. Went for afternoon tea, food was poor but can't complain when you receive bottomless prosecco. One waitress Nikoleta, seemed to be serving everyone outside but she was very professional and friendly.
T.
Had a lovely stay stuff was friendly and good with kids, breakfast was good except Monday the gentleman was rude and service was slow apart from that it was good, the kids loved the ferry across to canary wharf
A. G.
Really enjoyed the stay. What I liked the most was a really comfortable bed and tasty breakfast. Also fun ferry ride accross the Thames to get to hotel, easy to reach Canary Wharf. Recommended.
J. S.
Rooms ok comfortable beds.
Ideal location as was working in Canary Wharf ...3 minute boat trip across the river.
Just a couple of things to mention ...bring your own slippers for the room along with a dressing gown. Was quite surprised not to have these basics.
A. B.
My wife and I had our wedding reception here in the millennium room which can hold a maximum of 120 people. It was absolutely fantastic. The room itself was well decorated and they had brilliant mood lights which you could modify to the colour of your choice which added to the ambience.
A. F.
Nice location opposite to the Canary wharf, so you need to get a ferry (free for hotel customers, other needs to pay with Oyster) to get there. Room was clean and typical amenties in place. In the restaurant I needed to wait a bit until someone taken my order and after that it turns out that the beer recommended in menu actually runs out. Breakfast are ok with focus on both British and Mediterran ones.
T. N.
Stunning hotel. Perfect get away. Free ferry to canary walff. Staff were fantastic. The view were amazing especially at night. Room was beautiful 5 stars isn't enough for this hotel. Oh and the bed is the most comftable bed I've ever slept in
m. m.
Excellent customer services! I booked my stay here through travelogica and i am impressed by the staff in the hotel! Always ready to support and assist with your needs. Will use it again for my next stay!
E. C.
Guys, be nice to the chefs!! So many people in the morning were just plain rude, walking away when he was cooking omelettes, hardly saying thankyou or even acknowledging that the guy just made something they had a special request for; it's not hard to be nice! On that note the breakfast is ridiculously good!
Gorgeous location with stunning views and staff are absolutely brilliant, my only real fault with this place is it is just shabby in places, it's obviously been done up and refurbed at some point, but there are so many little things, like holes and marks in the bathroom tiles where things have been moved, dirty grout, worn furniture and the balcony was grotty.
The whole place just needs more attention to detail, that spark that makes it worth staying in a higher priced hotel, to be honest I think this is a Hilton thing as the others I have stayed at have been similar in terms of not having that high polished finish.
No fault at all with the staff, it was overall very clean and I really couldn't fault them at all - they were everything I expected and more, but there are hotels near this that are cheaper that really make an impact visually, and are high spec (in terms of decor), from the furniture, right down to the skirting!
So 5 stars for the staff and the food - 3 stars for whoever got cowboys in to do a refurb!
P. L.
This is a convenient location for getting to Canary Wharf as the hotel provided a ferry service across to the North side of the Thames. Once across, it's about a 5 minute walk up to either the Jubilee line or the DLR.
The hotel itself is well presented and the front desk staff are polite.
To park your car, you pull up to a gate and there's a sign that says to go to reception if the car park is full. The problem is that the sign to show that the car park is full is broken, so you have to kind of work out for yourself what's going on. If the main car park is full then the hotel has a 2nd car park nearby.
My room appeared to be in good order when I arrived, but when I pulled the covers back I discovered hair and a ball of dried snot on the sheets. Lovely! However, housekeeping did a good job of keeping everything clean and changing the sheets for the three nights I was there.
Don't bother trying to call for room service. I tried several times on two different evenings and could not get a reply. The room service line just rings and rings but nobody ever answers.
For a 'king' room, I thought that my room was quite small compared to other Doubletree hotels that I have stayed at - although it was in a private section of the corridor that I guess the idea is that this keeps the noise down. It doesn't work like this as the pressure changes caused by opening the doors to the other three rooms in this section caused my door to rattle loudly.
I found that the toilet was difficult to get to flush. Several presses of the button were required. Also, the walls in my bathroom seemed quite thin and I could clearly hear conversations from another room.
Oh, and the power to my room failed on the morning that I left which meant that I had to shower in the dark.
The three star rating is due to the ferry service and the fact that it was cheaper than staying in central London. However, schlepping in on the Jubilee line gets to be a PITA after a while so next time I'll stay somewhere else.
M. A.
Great location on the opp side to canary wharf with a boat crossing. The lounge area and bar are plush with nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. The service is of a high standard and prices are decent not extortionate. Parking outside on the roads are free in unmarked bays. Great overlooking thames. Would be a nice wedding venue too. Great Hilton standard away from the hustle and bustle.
k. m.
Large room with a view across the river to Canary Wharf. Wonderful views. A little tricky finding room at first. Entrance to the ferry from the hotel is a real bonus
K. K.
This is not the best Hilton I've been to so far. It is fine and I don't really have any material complaints, but the room is very small and the corridors are narrow and hard to navigate with all the 90 degree turns. I guess it has it's own atmosphere but it just feels so small. For example the TV cannot even face the bed properly (only at a 45 degree) because of weird angles in the room.
z. d.
Nice room with a great view allowing to explore happy moments
F. “. Z.
I went here to a party that was organised in one of the halls. It was a lovely atmosphere and the space was rather big which was nice. The food that was served on the night was amazing and the drinks were free too! I didn't see much outside of the hall we were in but from what I did see, it was a lovely place to be in.
R. H.
Whilst the staff and service are very good, getting to the hotel is problematic especially if you have a large suit case. The Hotel itself is somewhat of a maze and is spread out over a large area the river opposite Canry wharf. The executive loInge leaves a great deal to be desired. The Hotel is more like a holiday resort and the restaurant gets exceptionally busy at breakfast.
T. B.
I had a wonderful experience and would stay there again
J. H.
Our stay was lovely. The only downside is it is not very close to any of the tube stations so you do have a bit of a walk if you plan to use the tubes. You can use the clippers from Canary Wharf Pier but the boats are a bit more pricey than the tubes.
R. T.
Had a wonderful stay here for New Years Eve. Rooms are a little small, but full of character. Breakfast is good but can get busy at peak times. Ferry ride is cool
T. M.
Great hotel and acess is free with the ferry/boat across the Thames. The late-night receptionist didn't bat an eyelid when explained I'd lost my key card and was utterly charming given it was very busy and I was clearly at fault. I'm not sure how it compares price wise with the Hilton.
Α. Κ.
Lovely hotel and room but for that price you expect more. Dont forget to ask for a map in order to find your room... Breakfast is absolutely great but not for free.
T. H.
Fantastic establishment.
Had tea for two / prosecco with sandwiches.
We were running late with the booking however, staff were kind enough to accommodate us.
Clean, modern building and excellent staff.
E.
Very nice place to stay and within walking distance to various places you might want to visit. There are also bus lines right outside, which will take you to the local shopping centre and to Canada Water station.
There's also a small ferry that will carry you to the other side of the Thames for free as a bonus for staying at the hotel.
Friendly staff, although quite softly spoken.
Well priced too; would you believe a Hilton Hotel was cheaper than most AirBNB places I found?
Overall I would recommend staying here if you're visiting Printworks or something else that's close by.
A. I.
Nice Hilton, really enjoyed the free ferry over to Canary Wharf too! Rooms are nice and everything well maintained as you’d expect from a hilton. Breakfast has a wide selection too! Nice exc lounge and perks if your diamond member too!
L. C.
Great staff, great views! Compliments to Rob, who went above and beyond with our customer service! Very clean and safe, effective and comfortable COVID restrictions! Cannot recommended enough! X
D. M.
Beautiful hotel, very professional bar staff. They always go extra mile to please the customers . Last night was an amazing atmosphere. The best place to stay in London.
K. G.
Very good hotel in Canary Wharf. Bus stop just opposite hotel. Can use bus C10 to/from Canada Water station or complimentary ferry boat to/from Canary Wharf. Excellent breakfast. Nice rooms (some with balcony).
A. D.
I made some last minute bookings for my boyfriend's birthday and I manage to stubble upon this Hilton which were vacant specifically for the days we were visiting. I immediately booked it and I do not regret it one single bit.
When we got arrived at the hotel, we received a cookie and helped very quickly.
Our room was above expectation, and we had a great view. The windows were not double isolated so it got quiet cold during the night, but we noticed in the morning that there was a portable heater which we decided to use on the second night. As for the all the necessary amenities, they were all present in the room. The room was tidied up and new toiletries were provided daily.
As for the daily breakfast, it had a huge selection and were always warmly greeted by Ilona and Frances. They always made sure we had a table by the window because I always liked looking at the view and sitting in the sun. They were always eager to know what we did the day before and even got us tickets to go to the London's Eye. Holly the breakfast chef was such a sweetheart on top of that she made our omelets perfectly. The entire breakfast team was so welcoming and helpful, we felt like we were at home.
Also the bus stop was right infront of the hotel, which was so convenient.
We were very pleased with our stay and we would love our next stay in London to be here again.

Brilliant service, staff is very friendly. Nice views of the Canary Wharf buildings and good food (breakfast). Got a bit annoyed that staff kept walking in my room thinking that it was unoccupied and the maintenance people drilling on the walls in the room next door which was a bit annoying because I was trying to sleep; but otherwise the service is on point! ✌🏽✊🏽
T. M.
We only live 20 odd miles away from central London but love it so much we tend to book a hotel so we can spend more time here instead of worrying about the trains getting home. The hotel gives guests free passes for the ferry crossing to canary wharf. We came back to the hotel for Afternoon Tea on the terrace and this was great value.
V. P.
Brilliant hotel, staff very friendly. Sara in particular at reception made our stay enjoyable. Good breakfast. The River service to cross over is convenient too & complimentary.
J. H.
Friendly staff. Hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast if included is of a high standard. A bit of a mission getting to though via the free ferry from Canary Warf dock. Our room had a fanatic view.
J. M.
The hotel is in amazing condition. The rooms are like new. Location is good. And the hotel staff is nice.
I recommend avoiding the restaurant. Food has little to no flavor, it's expensive and the service is not great. The restaurant manager saw we had a bad experience and did nothing to resolve.
M. N.
Great hotel for a stay with the family, one of the very few places that will happily accommodate parents with three children comfortably! Amazing view over Canary Wharf. Great breakfast. Make sure you park in car park one if you can, as car park two is a real ordeal!
C. F.
The hotel can be found on the left hand side of Rotherhithe Street as it's not easily signed posted. Parking is limited on site but there are nearby side roads.
We attended a birthday party that was held downstairs, however there were no signs or notices saying where the party was. There were 2 members of staff at the check in desk and a long queue of guest with suitcases waiting to be booked in. Unfortunately there was no one to ask for directions. Eventually we spotted a cab man and he suggested we tried downstairs.
The venue size was prefect for 90 sit down guest with an area for dancing.
We had a 3 course meal that was served with bread rolls from a pre organised menu with various options including vegertain and gluent free choices. . The food was nicely presented and good value.
I would recommend hiring venue as it a riverside hotel with fanastic views.
A special thank you to the Restaurant Manager who was a excellent host and reassured me that I would not need to buy a packet of crisps. Lol.
S. D.
My wife and I were here for 8 nights.
Wonderful staff that took their time giving directions and alternatives to only Underground transportation. We used their River Clipper transportation system and they requested several Upton cars for us.
R. C.
Hotel may be a bit off from city Centre but the property is beautiful and located along the banks of river thames. The have free ferry service to cross the river every 10-15, that's thoughtful. Breakfast spread is good but mostly remains the same across days
A. R.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff - Great location. Recommended
I. G.
Not overly impressed.reception staff more than helpfull, the room was cold, heating system not working, had two electric/ oil radiators that didn't warm the room enough.broken floor tile in the bathroom, and sealant lifting away. Windows were draughty.
Breakfast was in abundance, Many, many choices to cater for every taste.
R.
We had our wedding reception here.
Venue hire and view was fantastic but service was not outstanding - very nice staff, attentive at first but slow as it went on.
Reception and restaurant a bit disjointed as they didn't know anything about the event going on and guests were confused on where to go.
If the service and organisation were tweaked then it would be amazing, otherwise it was a good venue hire and it went down well with the guests.
T. M.
My room was clean upon arrival. Room was TEENY TINY. My bedroom was an adequate size and had a quirky diamond shaped window like a porthole. Staff were absolutely fantastic and cannot be faulted. The best bit is you can park on the road for free right outside and it's outside the congestion charge zone.
D. B.
Amazing location if you're in London on business at Canary Wharf. Lost one star because the TV didn't work (no signal) and my room looked a bit dated. Although not a big issue in itself, can't rate it 5 stars.
h. f.
Dominique & Nikola gave my friend and I an amazing service for my 27th birthday. They made sure we were comfortable. A highly professional service. I would recommend. Great place for afternoon tea!

Weekend away to attend a Bocelli concert although the wrong side of the river for the O2 helpful staff explained our route, nice and easy and trouble free there and back. The water ferry being a lil extra treat. Our room fantastic location overlooking the Thames with a balcony just amazing. This being our little 35th wedding anniversary treat we received a complementary bottle of bubbles, perfect. Breakfast was plentiful hot and relaxed. Friendly staff from arrival to departure a very happy, relaxed enjoyable stay. We will return, thanks to all the staff 😃

Lovely hotel great staff very helpful. I am booked here twice a year and the hotel is great lovely food. The view of the river is great perfect photos at night all lit up.
T. M.
Excellent hotel on the Thames overlooking Canary Wharf. Location is fine if you're happy for 30mins or so to get to the main attractions. There's a free ferry which runs all the time to take you across to the Hilton hotel. On a sunny morning, views from the terrace are a welcome start to the day.
N. D.
I love This boat ride so quick and beautiful views
E. A.
Beautiful venue! I totally enjoyed myself here! My highlight was standing on the bank of the Thames with the cool breeze and watching the night lights! It was just so beautiful! Everything and everyone worked out brilliantly to create such a memorable day!!! Glad to be here!!!
T. M.
Wow, I booked this subsequent to a work trip thinking it would be luxurious, as it was at Hilton hotel, as well as accommodating. The ferry over to Canary Wharf was great. Great location ideal access to O2 arena. There were quite a few people waiting by this time but the quality and variety was the usual Doubletree standard.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Really liked recieving the free warm chocolate cookie on arrival was delicious. Only negative was that room was smaller than expected and very bland boring decor but other than that lovely hotel

View was great, loved going on the ferry. Room was good too. However, bar staff were rude and disrespectful and even tried to charge service... when I went up to the bar to buy myself a beer... Cheeky.

Nice enough hotel, rooms clean and the a/c kept it cool. Let down by the bar staff's desire to over charge me with a 'service fee' and still expect me to fill in the TIP section when I signed the bill ! ... Strange how my English colleague didn't attract the 'fee' when it was his round... unless they were racially profiling my Scottish accent 😉

Beautiful location but rooms are very small and whole place seems to be run on the cheap. Not alot of quality detail here from the loo paper to towels to choice of pillows. Decor very tired. Bar area and restaurant staff are very good in particular the breakfast and lunch time staff.

Would love to have given 5 stars but had an executive room and they tried to sell me breakfast which I paid for to find out it was included with the room, so if you pay for an executive room breakfast is free. Rooms where okay bathroom looked tired and needs attention. The boat is a good idea.

Afternoon tea, with bottomless Prosecco was a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attebtive. With a very attracrive & relaxed atmosphere, the fizz just kept on coming. Tea & scones were most delicious, however the sandwiches and cakes had obviously been left uncovered for some time as they were quite stale. Such a shame, if only they were fresh, the whole experience would have been faultless.

Great spot on the south side of the River Thames close to the city. Quiet, Well appointed rooms on the river. Has its own ferry across to the river bus. Nice bar and typically good Hilton breakfast.

Nice view onto Canary Wharf. Waterside location. Seems to be noisy at night with open window.

Great hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Nice room just a pity about the viewing angle of the tv. A better bracket would solve the problem. Handy ferry to the other side of the river.

For the price I paid for the room (over £200) it left something to be desired. The air con was blowing out hot air, and made an awful noise when it was off. The staff were far too stretched for how busy the hotel was. However, the breakfast was good, and the 24 hour fitness room (two treadmills, a cross trainer, some weights) was also good.

Brilliant location by the side of the Thames opposite Canary Wharf. The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very of a very high standard. The free pass for the ferry from Canary Wharf to Double Tree's own jetty was a real benefit as it cut down both cost and journey time from central London. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for both short and long breaks in London.

I love teaching yoga, using the gym or hanging out and relaxing here by the river. The rooms are also beautiful for an overnight stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Come along to my indoor and outdoor yoga classes all year round : )

I stayed for one night on the day i arrived to London. Beautiful location, excellent view. Evening staff could have been a little friendly. In the morning it was all different, staff helped me with my luggage and helped me with a taxi booking etc.

Great hotel really unusual as looks like a dry dock. On the river Thames with its own ferry to transport a cross to canary wharf. Give yu warmish cookies on arrival. Not cheap hotel. £12.50 breakfast get thete earlier at weekends or queue. Can't see out of your windows in room in queen doubles which is a bit weird.

Best place for the weekend baterry charging. Really nice customer service and great food. Hope my next London trip will also spend a night or more in DoubleTree by Hilton.

Good hotel with nice and confy bed, friendly staff, and good view (if you are lucky), it also has a complimnetary ferry to Canary Wharf that makes it easy to reach (we didint know and walked from Canada Water), befome Hilton Honor member and get free WiFi.
On the otherside, There are 8 lifts in the hotel, which are a lot for the size of it, and you might need to walk through corridors before you find your lift. TV in room was placed in a way that it was supposed to be only one person in bed, shower was leaking, and no minibar or fridge in the room. And bottled water from bar was way too expensive.
Overall, its a good hotel.

Stayed overnight at the Doubletree Docklands as was attending an event at the o2 and wanted somewhere easy to get back to after the show. The hotel was lovely - wish I had more time to stay in it! Room wasn't ready at checkin so was offered a complementary drink at the bar immediately. Room wasn't ready 15 minutes later so the concierge returned with an upgrade for us. Great service.

Stayed there this weekend as a bit of a treat and because I was competing in a local sporting event. I'm afraid we have booked a different hotel for our next visit even though I just loved being by the river. Free ferry across to canary wharf was a great way to travel.

He reply us,... it mean what i said! We got many email, we can not answer you! I was so upset, i hope hotel manage this service more professional....
