Just been here for a Sunday roast. WOW. The best roast I have had in a very long time. We arrived when it was very busy, without a booking, nothing was too much trouble for them and they quickly found us a table. The quantity AND the quality of food was incomparable, everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were brilliant!

Was passing and decided to pop in with the family. There was a wonderful atmosphere with a BBQ, GIN, REAL ALE bars and live music in the garden. Inside the pub they were showing live football and there was a Thai menu to enjoy. Staff and the owner Dean were extremely friendly. Apparently they do a good Sunday roast as well from talking to some regulars. It was very clean also. Well worth the 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Nice pub, good value food and portion sizes, drinks prices a bit too West London; rooms are dated but clean, functional and reasonable value. Staff are really friendly but could do with being a bit quicker or more attentive on the bar - it's a huge bar area for just one person to be covering, as was the case when we arrived, and they weren't keeping an eye on all areas keenly enough.

Roast Dinner Hands down Yummo. Lamb cooked to perfection. Amazing. Prices for drinks are fine. Lovely atmosphere and staff. The bar is massive so getting served can take some time as staff have like six different areas of the bar to look after.

No acknowledgment as we walked in despite not being particularly busy, staff working behind the food counter looked like they had walked in from the street. One in particular was wearing a t-shirt covered in stains. This place seems to be lacking simple attention to detail. Quality of carvery was OK, won't be going back in a hurry.

Absolutely lovely old pub/building/staff Visited on a Sunday with an event on.. the food was at its best nice.. carvery £14.95 was ok… looked lovely tasted ok.. The staff were very welcoming and interactive… was asked to review them more than twice however.. fully understand ratings and reviews just shouldn’t be begged for them.. Had to queue outside (beer garden) for the carvery could be moved further into the room and customers called up when it’s there turn… wish I had ordered the burger from the normal menu.. overall cost 2 x carvery + 2 drinks £37 cheap and adequate.. you wouldn’t take your mum for Mother’s Day but you’d nip down on a Sunday if you’ve forgotten to put your meat in the oven and you’re after a quick plate of grub.. The portions were big and was asked if I had enough meat… always a winner!!! just less fat on the gammon next time..

Lovely, warm old fashioned wood panelled boozer with 3 bars, decent Thai restaurant and a well covered large patio garden with various seating options. Staff are great, good choice of beers and ales on tap. Quiz nights on Wednesdays.

The place is nice and it was crowded. It's good to see things going slightly back to normal. I ordered a pad Thai: it was fine. Not the best and not the worst I've eaten. My food arrived quickly however some of my friends had to wait almost an hour before getting served. I guess it's because they had a lot of people in the pub.

we called Dean the manager and booked a table with ease as now we are here there is loads of capacity. Once here we checked in and used the QR code to order drinks. Super easy and very happy. Update. We booked the garden yesterday for a 1st communion celebration and couldn’t be happier. The staff were attentive, the bbq food we asked for was delicious and simply couldn’t find fault. I can see that the pub has had a couple of 1 Star ⭐️ comments on Father’s Day and if that’s you please give them another go as I am positive it was a one off experience. I have eaten and drink at the number 100’s of times and never had an issue hence we trusted Dean to organise our event on the 26th June.

Enough days have gone that I can't be specific, I just remembered a bit of that feeling. Don't be put off though, good pub environment that had nice service and a complete mix of clientele, from couples with a bottle of wine to family groups.

Well maintained comfortable en suite room with lots of tea, coffee and biscuits. Hearty breakfast either continental or full English or both! Staff friendly and attentive. Be real happy to use again and the pub below is huge with a Thai restaurant in the garden room. Garden is well laid out and very sunny. I'd add that if busy a light sleeper may have difficulty as you can hear sounds from pub below or other rooms...

Really nice traditional ol' English pub. Drinks are priced on the reasonable side, good indoor seating and a massive beer garden. There is also a Thai kitchen ran here! The food is really very good and reasonably priced. The Forrester often has very nice seasonal events going on and has really good vibes.

This pub / guesthouse was a surprise. For our trip to London we chose this place and didn't know what to expect really . We were however pleasantly surprised. The room was tidy and big enough for 3 people. A coffeemaker and a kettle were there too. At night we met locals in the pub downstairs which was amazing and a nice experience. The breakfast however was not so good. The was a buffet table with lots of sweets and cereal bars. You could order eggs and a full English breakfast via menu. I would definitely come back however it would be nice to step up the breakfast game.

We came here instead of queuing up for the Toby and we are so glad we did. We were slightly hesitant because of the price £14- but it’s actually cheap for what you get! The portions are really generous, including the meat portions. Some carveries give you a slither of meat but this filled half my plate! The manager was absolutely lovely and welcoming, gave us some information about about the hotel and made us feel very welcome. She was absolutely right - we didn’t leave hungry, we couldn’t even finish our plates! 10/10

5 stars indeed! We loved the structure and just jumped in. My boyfriend immediately recognized that it has been a location for "impractical jockers" which we love, so we had to give it a try...and luckily we did! We are been amazed from the great service, friendly and smiley even if the pub was quite busy. We tried the Thai food that was exceptional, above the average of Thai food you can usually find in pubs. Pleasant atmosphere and obviously very good selection of beers, ales overall were nice and tasty. We will definitely come back to try the Sunday's roast! E+A

I have been here twice for Drinks and Food. This is a Good pub, it has character, in a good location, a local hotspot. it has good variety of drinks like any pub should have. I recently came for lunch meal. The food at the foresters is actually Thai Food. The first impressions are the service. We were served by a lady named Jenny. She was attentive, approachable and welcoming. We order the Lunch boxes, which consisted of a starter and main in a Lunch box. We order a Thai Green and Thai Red Curry, The food was reasonable in price and had a good taste. overall it is decent food and is good value for money. Many Thanks

A wonderful traditional pub with function rooms and a spacious and sheltered garden which can be an ideal venue for outdoor private parties in all weathers. I have attended a wedding reception there last summer and all the guests really loved the place. The staff and management went the extra mile to ensure that the event was a total success. We went here for a Christmas meal with our local orchestra. We had the whole upstairs room to ourselves, and packed it out. The staff brought our food up and we were all impressed with the quality of the food. The bar downstairs had a great selection of beers and wine available, and the staff even put up with our renditions of Christmas carols through the evening!

Nice atmosphere, great for watching the football and rugby. Beautiful building! Beer garden out the back. The Thai kitchen is good and the food excellent from there, if a little expensive (nicer than a takeaway though). Usually clean and tidy. Runs lots of events such as live music, quizzes, food/beer festivals and so on, which while good in theory can mean you won't get a nice quiet pint if that's what you were hoping for, so do check the boards outside and give them a ring if you don't want to be crammed in there on a busy day. Closes relatively early (before midnight) as it's a residential area.

Recently taken over by the landlady that ran the New Inn on South Ealing road, and what a difference someone with some commercial experience makes! This tired old pub only fit for drunks and substance abusers has been transformed into a tranquil traditional 'local'. Check out the beer garden; a good size and very peaceful. Dropped a point for the most inane of things: a pole from the gazebo blocks the door to the beer garden (fire and safety says tut tut). Otherwise worth a visit.

Stayed for 1 night, 3 single beds in one room gave us plenty of space and ensuit had huge shower, room was very clean. Pub itself was excellent very friendly staff who were always happy to help.. For £30.00 pp including breakfast (in London) you cant beat it.. on top of that pub is very lively and open till 1.00 am... Excellent place to stay for small groups looking for a cheap but good b&b in London. Definitely would stay there again..

Ordered Thai takeaways via Uber eats. Can I just say that this is the tastiest homemade Thai food I’ve ever had! Would 100% order again, visit the pub and recommend 10/10. Had the mixed appetiser - the prawn toast is on fresh sliced bread, none of that crusty old bricks. Satay chicken has been marinated well in advance, very succulent. Prawn twist and dumplings are perfect. Also had the pad Thai with prawns. Everything was beyond expectations and satisfied our Thai food craving!

Love the Forester! Great Carvery on Sundays, good Thai food as well six days a week, big garden, good for kids/families, great ale. Friends have stayed in the rooms which they say were comfortable, clean and spacious. Generally all round great local!

The Forester's is a really great pub which has a decent Thai restaurant tucked into one corner. The food is really good quality and the service is prompt and friendly. The pub itself is large and has a great atmosphere; it has an 'authentic' feel to it thanks to all the wooden paneling. Expect standard London prices though!

The Forrester is I would say a very lively local middle-class boozer that caters for a wide ranging variety of people. The landlord is a very nice geezer called Dean and can be seen flitting in and out of the pub most days,but when hes not around he has a very nice and very helpful set of staff members to tend to your service. The pub is situated in a very good location right at the edge of a very large and highly populated affluent area which brings in very good mix of friendly set of customers. There is no immediate parking facilities but there is plenty of places to park very close to the pub. Depending on the time of day spaces vary so the later you leave it the less likely chance of a space...just saying. The pub itself has a great variety of local ales..wines and spirits. It also boasts an attached Thai food restaurant which is very popular and I myself can vouch for the food and how good it is and not that expensive either. So in my overall view of the Forrester I would definitely recommend that you pay it a visit or if you live near by make this pub your local...ps They also have a weekly quiz night and show both Sky TV and BT SPORT.
