L. H.Hotel was easy to get to and decent enough location. Rooms were more than adequate for a night stay where you don't need too much. It was a shame that they don't operate a breakfast but not the end of the world. Some parts of the hotel looking tired but a very good price for a London hotel. Would consider staying again for a cheap room.

B.Warming welcome when arrived, explain everything what was needed, big and clean rooms, we have the door right by the entrance was quite till around 10, which is completely fine if getting up early… very good location right near restaurant and underground, we stay here to go out in soho clubs. Parking right outside. Saturday afternoon and Sunday was free so even better, we come here again :)

A. Y.Service wise it was great. The staff were helpful. However, it is a very old building so it’s more suited for backpackers. If your have a suitcase, good luck on getting it up and down the stairs. The hallway is barely big enough for one person to walk by. We had a family of 3 so we paid quite a bit for a 3 people room with private bathroom. The bathroom is so small that there isn’t any room to put anything. You also can’t move in the shower without bumping into the walls. You can hear people talking on the street when you are in the room. However, the location is great. If you take the tube, you are right by a few stations depending on which line you take. You are also quite close to the train station.

The dining room was friendly and if you had to wait for breakfast it was nice to have papers and drinks to keep you occupied whilst waiting,my son even used the internet in privacy before breakfast. Rooms weren't too big but had all that you need.

The breakfast was real nice and plentiful, once again the service was superb.

N. B.I had a one night stay here before I went into the Hospital "University College Hospital London" for an operation the following day and unfortunately I was not able to eat here.
It is in a great location although the room I stayed in didn't have a great view from the window.
I have to say that for the price I was very impressed indeed, excellent checking in process that was quick and easy, friendly staff and overall a very well presented hotel.
I had a single room and although it was quite compact it was clean, comfortable and everything was functional.
The bathroom had a walk in shower and was quite up market and exceeded my expectations.
There was a kettle so you could make your own tea and coffee and also there is room service if you needed it along with a television and free Wi-fi that all worked perfectly fine.
I was disappointed that I was unable to eat here as the food did look like it was very nice, maybe if I stay here again in the future (and I definitely would) it may be under different circumstances and I can take advantage of the very comprehensive menu.
I would recommend this hotel to others and it only lost 1 star due to the fact that there were a lot of stairs and I was on the fourth floor and I didn't see the availability of any lift.
b. d.Stayed here as I needed to be on an early train out of euston. Its sits within a row of london town houses.its a little bit dated in places but warm, comfortable and serves its main purpose a place to sleep. Staff friendly which made a difference. Only stayed one night so tricky to really give a good or bad rating. For the budget traveller there are certainly worse places than this though.
A. Y.It's spacious, close to underground stations and the British Library, and includes a delicious breakfast. Service was good and I loved the room. But just keep in mind that they don't have elevators, so probably not for you if your suitcase is heavy.
a. M.Very impressive. The hotel is nestled in a crescent of imposing townhouses adjacent to a leafy quiet amenities area. Room 34 is compact and modern and the bed is very comfortable. Staff are friendly and service is efficient and unobtrusive. The full English breakfast was done to a turn and delivered in minutes. The sausage is particularly delicious. Some kind of Cumberland or something. Would definitely revisit.

T. O.This was a (relatively) affordable room in a great location. So, I didn't come with high expectations, but I ended up glad to have stayed here. The single on suite room is on the 3rd floor and very, very tiny. But it suited my needs well. The water pressure was very, very low in the morning and there was only one outlet, making it impossible to charge a phone and run the fan at the same time. Note: Breakfast started at 7:30 and by 7:40, there were no free tables. However, by 8:00 most people had left and there was room to sit down again.
D. U.Traditional London guest house/hotel. One night in a small single room which was clean, had a very comfortable bed and was inexpensive. The toilet/bathroom was on a different floor but was vacant whenever I need it.
English breakfast was good and the young, eastern European staff were very efficient.

B. S.Clean room, very nice staff, very nice free breakfast with hot eggs, sausage bacon, totast, cereals, juice and fruit. Served 730-10am. In the room was a sink (shared toilet and shower down the hall) and in-room hot water kettle with tea and coffee. Tv was oddly angled to watch in bed. But there was a fan on the desk that no only helped with my hot flashes, but I dried my clothing after washing a few things. There is a large wardrobe for clothing and a small desk. I say small because the fan and tea service took up most of the space so it was hard to lay your own things out. There was a blow dryer. Yet only one outlet. I was prepared and brought multi plug cords with me so i could charge multiple items. Room is small with twin bed but perfect size for one person and priced right. I would stay here again. The beat part, there is a huge outdoor mall 2 blocks away with great food places and several grocery stores. Dont buy cold food though, the room doesnt have a refrigerator to store anything cold like milk or yogurt. But with so many places to walk to, go out and eat. And so cheap compared to eating out in US. A lot of the places were organic or vegan too, without being over pricey like back home. I guess London realized that good food is better for you so make it affordable. No wonder they have such skinny gorgeous people walking around. Ok maybe it's the nearby college lol.
This hotel has a park and tennis courts across the atreet so it was fun to sit and people watch. Very close to multiple undergroumd stations. I used euston twice but a bit confusing with so many entrancea. Kings cross st pancras was great for autostart train to Paris.

J. B.I have stayed at the George three times--most recently in May 2013--and I have been consistently impressed with the service there. The staff are helpful and friendly and the service during the (free) breakfast is fast and efficient.
The overall quality of the George is good for a budget hotel. My rooms there have always been clean, with comfortable beds. It goes without saying, of course, that they are on the small side. (The single I had most recently was so narrow I could almost touch the walls if I held my arms out straight.) And, like the three other London B&B's I've used, there is no air conditioning beyond a fan and opening the window. I would hate to be in a London B&B during a heat wave, but those are thankfully rare. When I visited in May 2013 I had to wear a coat and sweater every day! Oh, and also, it has no lift/elevator and even the reception area is not handicap accessible.
The location and the pricing of the George are its main attractions.
Bloomsbury has always been a great place to be for museums (British Museum and British Library) and cultural events and over the years I've visited it the number of restaurants and coffee houses has grown and grown. Moreover, the once hideous, poured-concrete Brunswick Centre (two blocks away) has evolved into a lovely spot for dining and shopping. Nearby Euston and Kings Cross rail/Tube stations make it simple to get to any other location in London. (Avoid the Russell Square Tube station and its rickety elevators if you can.)
The room pricing cannot be beat for the quality you get. For my most-recent visit, my single room cost about US$90 per night, and the free breakfast was so filling (eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, fruit, cereal) that I could subsist on small lunches. Even modest hotels in London without free breakfasts can cost two or three times as much.
That single room had a sink, but no toilet/shower, which brings me to my main complaint and the reason I've rated the facilities as poor/fair. The shared bathrooms were kept clean, but the George's aging plumbing was a constant issue during my two-week stay. I tried all four shared bathrooms and only one had a toilet that would, shall we say, clear the bowl. And the showers were utterly unpredictable. One morning the cold water stopped mid-shower and I was forced to finish with only hot water. Another morning, the shower flow stopped entirely just as I was finishing. And the day I arrived, the radiator in the bathroom was not working (the boiler had just broken) and the room was quite cold.
In sum, the George's positives outweigh its one negative (its plumbing) and the time I stayed there and had an "en-suite" (in-room) toilet/shower I did not encounter the plumbing issues I detail above. Before booking a room at the George that is not en-suite, I would recommend checking other nearby B&B's to see if their prices are competitive.
T. M.We found the staff very helpful and you can set yourself up for the day with the breakfast. The hotel is well located in a nice corner of Bloomsbury. What a lovely surprise and for a bargain price. We will be returning in October and definitely will be back here.

In the centre of Camden, yet you could think your in a small village, so little noise and you can't hear busy city.
T. M.I stayed there last week as it was near Kings Cross and convenient to my plans the next day. Clean but a little charmingly dilapidated. Those you could not walk you had good transport links with the tube and busses. At only £90 for an ensuite single room with breakfast it was very good value for money.
T. M.We stayed at the George over Christmas last year and had a wonderful time in London. The whole place is clean. A good filling breakfast was included in the price and is served in a small restaurant on the ground floor. Breaskfast proved great value and just the right amount.

Kleines, nettes Familienhotel nahe des Zentrums. Frühstück ist üppig-traditionell und die Zimmer sehr sauber, das Bad mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Ein öffentlicher Garten befindet sich auf der anderen Seite der Straße. St. Pancras & Kings Cross sind nur wenige Minuten vom Hotel entfernt (in die Innenstadt sind wir gelaufen, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel waren für uns nicht nötig). Nettes Personal. Wasserkocher und Teebeutel findet man in jedem Zimmer.
Leider kein Fahrstuhl, nur Treppen. Die Fenster sind nicht dicht. Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen..

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Es liegt zentral und alles ist gut zu erreichen. Sehr gute U-Bahn Anschlüsse. Liebevoll eingerichtete gemütliche Zimmer. It is a common bathroom, but it is inconvenient, but the bathroom is ok. 위치가 완전 시내 중심가는 아니지만 좋다. 번화가로 지하철 이용 가능. 걸어서는 20~30분 거리. 기차역이랑 대영박물관이 가까이 있다. 공동 욕실이라서 불편한 점이 있긴 하지만 욕실이 나름 괜찮다. 지하1층에 있는 건 좁고 안좋고 1.5층에 있는 욕실 사용을 권장한다. 조식이 매우 좋은편이니 조식을 중요하게 생각한다면 선택을 권하고 싶다. 가격 대비로 리뷰한 점을 고려해주셨음 한다.

This the British museum we go you have everything at hand ... at least my experience with that hotel I loved we were 3 people in a room for 100 euros breakfast included that by the way the breakfast great coffee milk varieties of tea and the typical English breakfast with varieties of cereals fruits and juices ... it is not a posh hotel but it is comfortable and practical because of the location .. we rent transfers for the LDH airport but seeing how easy it is to get it we cancel it for 5 pounds which are 50 min . Q seem a lot but you get there in a moment talking and things like that or what you notice.

Esta el museo britanico vamos q tienes todo a mano... almenos a mi mi experiencia con ese hotel me encanto estuvimos 3 personas en una habitacion por 100 euros desayuno incluido que por cierto el desayuno estupendo cafe leche variedades de te y el tipico desayuno ingles con variedades de cereales frutas y zumos... no es jn hotel pijo pero es comodo economico y prsctico por la ubicacion..alquilamos traslados para el aeropuerto de LDH pero al ver lo facil que es llegar lo cancelamos por 5 libras q son 50 min. Q parecen mucho pero se llega en un momento hablando y cosas de esas ni lo notas.
