The location of the hotel for all the sights of London was perfect. The room was perfect for us and our 4 Grandchildren, very comfortable and clean, with a well equipped kitchenette. The only thing missing was a toaster. The receptionist and cleaning staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.

It's alright. The staff are not overly warm and welcoming, just stiff professionalism, the rooms are weirdly designed with stairs in every apartment and the hallways are quite narrow. But it's a 5star location. Prince's Square itself is calm and tranquil but just around the corner you have the busy queensway Street with all the restaurants, easy access to buses and the Diana memorial parks and gardens nearby.

Great location to explore central London either by foot or public transport. Close to a lot of attractions and less than 1 hr walk to central London and close to various train stations and busesss. Lots of dining options along the Queensway. The room are good but some are small and a few facilities a bit dated. The family room is especially good and might be a good price point for families visiting London. It comes with a kitchenette but no dish washer.

Check in was quick, friendly chap. The apartment was spacious and clean. Had everything you needed. A little rough around the edges here and there but great value. Great location with nearby bus and tube as well as cycles. I recommend hiring cycles for a ride through the park....Very comfortable beds. My only gripe is the sky box didn't work and there was no remote for the actual TV. I had to control from the panel buttons. Not a big deal as we weren't there to watch TV but its preferable that everything works as it should. We will be happy to stay again.

Great place to stay. We stayed at the 3rd floor. Not too fancy, but clean and cozy. The kitchen is a big advantage. We really enjoy our stay, and the staff was helpful and polite.

Sick of putting up with mediocre hotels, food and service I decided to stop at somewhere a little bit more modern and up market for 4-nights. So I chose to stay at the aptly name, the Grand Plaza Hotel, situated at the opposite end of Westminster bridge, with Big Ben at the other. The views of London were spectacular, with most attractions within walking distance ( if you don't mind walking) or ride your bike or just jump on a bus or take a taxi. From arriving to going home, the staff where so professional and friendly. The rooms were easy to get to and very well equipped, and even if you'd forgotten to pack the soap, there was plenty to choose from. The bed was extremely comfy as were the pillows and smelt fresh. Two 40in flat screen tvs in the room with aircon. The breakfast was well tasty with proper bacon and sausages. If you wanted to eat in the restaurant, the food was also well prepared and tasty. The lounge bar was well staffed where you could enjoy burgers and snacks together with wines and spirits, and Cocktails (which I had a couple, Honest:-) not only did they looked smartly dressed and professional, but were also very attentive to your needs and nothing was too much trouble. All in all staying at the Grand Plaza, was a fantastic memorable and relaxing experience. 10 out of 10.

After a hiccup with an airbnb flat that wasn't in a safe or central area, I booked GPSA and had a lovely experience. The unit was excellent, great light and view, and had everything I needed for a 4 week stay. Marcio ensured my checkin was smooth and that I had a quiet unit. Jilldiss was helpful with my keys. Rosalin was helpful on several occasions with sorting out my luggage and other miscellanous things. And Steven was great at troubleshooting and helping with some of the luggage items. The room has never been dirty, everything has been great. Location is ideal Bayswater underground and round the corner is Queensway. Plenty of food places to eat. Very family friendly. The staff are very friendly and very helpful with all your need. Our room was a family ensuite, very large, we were 2 adults and 3 kids, enough room to move around. Good quality, very well located apartments in London. Rooms are modern and in good condition but the complex is a ‘rabbit warren’ of corridors and stairs. If there’s four or more people you really need to get the family suite / apartment which we had the second time we visited to have enough room. No in room washing machine or dishwasher but the in-house clothes washing service is good. We didn’t use the in-house restaurant - there are great restaurants everywhere nearby.

I wanted to stay here after finding it on Trivago & booking.com, planning a trip for 2 or 3 of us or more, including disabled person/s, this place seemed ideal as we prefer a Self~Catering Apartment than a Hotel room, with TV lounge area, fridge for hot Summer & kitchenette facilities, the prices weren't too bad. I telephoned & DeWalt with a very helpful, knowledgeable man indeed. Was looking forward to experiencing this place but unfortunately plans changed so we didn't stay here so cannot recommend more than that. There is no allocated parking so if you have a vehicle, you have to pay for metered bays, of which there are usually plenty available in this Square & in the Borough of Westminster, restricted hours are around 8am 'till 6pm, free at night currently

Originally booked a 3 bedroom apartment 2 months before arriving. But 2 weeks before we left, we were advised that they double booked us and that we couldn’t have the room anymore. They ended up getting us a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom. On arrival, the 1 bedroom was directly outside where the dumpsters were so I requested we have another room for my elderly parents due to the constant noise. Apartments were ok, both were clean but definitely no more than a 3 star premise. Very dated in a lot of areas, and the place is like a rabbit Warren, corridors absolutely everywhere. Had to go through 3 doors, 5 corridors and 1 lift to get to parents room. If you want breakfast, get in early or you get booted outside where it’s freezing as eating area is quite small. A basic 3 star accommodation but the location was the winner. Nice and close/walking distance to restaurants, chemists, banks, transport etc.

So this place was fine. Room was warm and dry, bed was decently comfortable and the service was helpful. I don't recommend the breakfast, they completely ruined the fry up. Cold baked beans, floury sausage, fake bacon (the restaurant is halal, but they didn't specify that the bacon is not pork). Also the kettle in my room didn't stay on, I had to hold the power on to get it to boil. Because of these issues, only a 3 star review.

It's a really good hotel, accommodation. Very clean. Since I have been to it her hotels in London, I can say that this in is very spacious! The location is perfect - you are everywhere in no time. Right around the corner are several shops and restaurants to get food from. The only downside is: there is a Malaysian restaurant in the courtyard, which means, that if your room is right next to it, you might can't sleep well because it can get pretty loud. We stayed in the family room. It was Cosy with good amenities for comfortable cooking, microwaving, showering, and storage. Beds were super comfy. but the ground floor room where we stayed did not have air conditioning , which made the room stuffy. You can open the window but I dont feel so safe doing that

PROS: Nice staff Ken to help, nice Malaysian restaurant with tasty reasonable priced food, great location, 7 day laundry service - leave clothes and pick them up dry (not a self service), choice I'd rooms, food safe for valuables. CONS: interior is tired and the squeaky door and floor kept waking up our baby, some doors were missing the kicking mechanism shook they weren't closeing properly. Windows don't open all the way. It is a true 3 star. No more no less. Would stay again if I don't have a better choice.

Being a total stranger in London, this place made me feel right at home. Located near London Central's business and shopping district (1 bus ride only!), it is also surrounded with shops for essentials that is just a walking distance away. Our room is clean and provided with basic utensils so I can cook anytime I don't feel like eating outside. It's a serviced apartment so someone's gonna clean and tidy things up for you (although I prefer doing my own dishes and not be a pig). Overall, the place is great and it'll definitely warm you up despite the cold London climate. Highly recommended for travellers from other countries like me.

We had put up in these serviced apartments in our recent vacation to London. These apartments are centrally located & most of the good Resturant are nearby. . Strangely, the rooms are quite small with quite some restrictions, once you enter the apartment property or the rooms, it feels no less than a maze. . Breakfast even after being included in the package has the least options & apart from few Fruits, tea/coffee or breads, everything is charged. . Staff of also not that friendly. . Shall think twice next time before putting up in this apartment, especially for vacations.

From the quick & friendly check-in to the immaculate room & facilities, I just love staying here when I get a chance. My room on the ground floor had lots of space & was very comfortable. Unfortunately I wasn't staying in for the evening so after dropping my stuff off I was straight back out until late. Another thing was the ample supply of toiletries including shampoo & shower gel. At other hotels I find I have to request more. Overall a fantastic stay & service. Would definitely recommend Grand Plaza Apartments to others looking to stay in London.

Very clean, calm, and comfy appartements (with small kitchen corner, bathroom, safe, and a free to use phone with google maps and internet). ATM in the main hall. Concierges very friendly and helpful, especially re. our children. Very well situated public transportation-wise and shops/restaurants-wise. Continental breakfast buffet, English breakfast or Malaysian breakfast for reasonable prices. Would go again in a heartbeat. Only downside might be the price, but then, with a family, it would have been even more expensive in a "classical" hotel.

Nice apartments, poor services. The apartment we had was very nice and more than adequate for our needs. However, the services we used were horrible. Don't try to use the laundry as you'll never get clean, dry clothes back and the breakfast is awful and crazy expensive. Buy your own breakfast and make it in the kitchen (having a kitchen in London was a big money-saver). The apartments are also a bit pricey, but specials can be found.

This place is sufficient for a family of five or six. It has a mini kitchenette and pull out here. Turnover rate is so high that the Housekeeping team has a hard time keeping up the cleaniness and you can feel the dust in the rooms. The bathrooms are abit of a hazard as the glass partition is held with a swing hinge and getting in and out of the bathtub can be quite a challenge as there are no bars to assist you to get into the slightly raised baths. Not sure how they get the authorization on having this cleared as a hotel and I know it sure does not pass the safety issue. Front staff is mediocre and can be quite brash. So if you are looking for comfort not recommended but location is very central.

Clean and smart apartment. Well equipped kitchen area. TV. WiFi , all good. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Position of the bathroom in our apartment was awkward for all guests to use overnight as it was an ensuite off the main bedroom downstairs. The main bedroom had a really comfy bed but the other two doublebeds upstairs were less comfortable. Overall we had a great time, slept well mainly because the temperature in the rooms was well managed and we would definitely come back again.

Very little in the way of additional services here as, yes it says on the tin, these are self service rooms. Was it expensive? Compared to other cities, yes but this is London. I appreciate,too, that it's close to Paddington (one stop.) Celler-level room was OK and yes, I had a little Kitchenette, As a hotel 3/5 but as a place for a 3-4 day stay, 4/5. Booked early and you'll probably get a better deal than I did, just 48 hours before I arrived.

The location is perfect if you're visiting with small children. Close to the underground, park and several bus stops. The problem however lies in the apartment interior. We were 6 (2 small ones) and 4 of us had to sleep on a couch that had to be propped with pillows in order to stay upright. The second problem was that the app offered a kitchen with a nice stove... but only a single pan, single pot and one dull knife. I had a lot of problem cooking meals for my daughters.

Great location near Hyde Park, many supermarkets/ restaurants The Whiteleys Shopping Mall & 2 Underground stations. It's very convenient to stay here to be able to use a finely-equipped kitchen to make our own dinner and a dining table to eat in central London. The rubbish bin is very large for those who cook and need to throw away containers, and the trash bags are taken away daily. We are blessed to have two large windows to enjoy light with views and are grateful to stay on the ground floor because our son uses a wheel chair. The room is quite spacious and is cleaned and offered clean towels as well as other cleansers daily.

These are great apartments for self catering. Really up market and flash rooms with everything you need. We had little kitchen with kettle and fridge etc for 4 nights which was ideal for us as we only ate breakfast there and drank tea or coffee. Too many sites to see and parties to be had. We were lucky enough for then to make a booking error and only paid half the price, which they attempted to get out of but we had the confirmation booking on e-mail in phone. Just round the corner from Queensway and Bayswater Underground for easy access to everywhere required.

The personel was very friendly and service minded. The hotel is situated in an area with plenty of restaurants and shoping possibilities. The surroundings to the apartment was silent. If I was asked what could be better, it would be the hard couches in the living room, while the beds in the bedroom was good. Due to cold weather it was not required to open windows during the night. But during the short time I let the door open for fresh air, we got a bad smell of cigarets inside. There are smoking posts outside each apartment, which could have ruined our stay in a warmer periode. It would be appropiate to establish a smoking room aside from the apartments, and have the exhaust from the ventilation routed away. But after all we enjoyed our stay and can recommend the hotel, which have a high degree of service.

Still gets 4 stars for its location and proximity to transportation, restaurants and shopping. It's aged rapidly into a grand old lady but without the emphasis on being grand. I'd suggest that the owners update this establishment back to its former days of glory. I first stayed here more than 10 years ago and have stayed here whenever my family travelled to london with the last trip 6 years ago. Then, the unit was still cosy albeit a little warm. This time even though we were upgraded to a larger and airconditioned unit, the cosiness of old has been lost. Appointments are of the poorest quality and that's a shame. It's time to inject life back in.

We (Husband, daughter and me) had a short stay at the Grand Plaza in mid Mar 2016. Location is very good - very near restaurants, Bayswater tube and Queensway tube as well as grocery stores(Tesco, Sainsbury), Boots Pharmacy and souvenir shops all within 10 mins walking distance.One of the Sainsbury stores opens till midnight. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful esp Patrick. We were in a 2Bedroom apartment. The master room was not too big but okay. The arrangement in the other room with the kitchen was odd - the bed faces the door while the dining table was further in. Bathroom was clean and with enough hot water - no complaints. Overall, I would recommend this hotel .

I very much enjoyed my stay here. Location was superb...right in the centre of London with relevant amenities close by. Space was ok by London standards. Everything else is standard, the service, room cleaning, pretty satisfied. There are also vending machines inside for a quick snack (more like chocolate) or drink which came in handy.

Located a 10 min walk from Bayswater station there are a multitude of restaurants and shops nearby. Closing the window wasn't an option as the breeze helped to cool the apartment. The air conditioning pods do not work which means you have to open the windows with a fan and the flys come in because there are no screens.

Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments is conveniently located in Bayswater which is great. Some of the floor was sloped and trim in bad need of repair. Been staying here at Grand Plaza whenever we visit London...love this hotel...the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are of a good size (last time we stayed at the family room for the 3 of us), quite spacious, very clean and comfy...equipped wt ample cooking utensils to cook simple meals for breakfast...its surounded by restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops and little shops of everything incl. souvenirs. Just a 2 minutes walk to 2 train stations and if you like to walk further, it is within walking distance (wt a few breather stop n not if you hv small kids) to Kensington Gardens, St. James Park, Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace and other sites too. We even walked to Oxford Street). For Malaysians, its a stone throw away from the High Comm and Malaysia Hall. Dont worry, buses are aplenty there. Will definitely visit again.

The location of grand plaza bayswater is to die for, being located just a stones throw from both bayswater and queennsway stations, as well as whiteleys, sainsburys and tesco. That said, the service leaves a some room for improvement, as they were less than helpful regarding repairing our microwave in the room, and the upkeep of the place is not stellar, with many chipped tiles and peeling paint all around.
