I must have lost my other review. but...
Amazing.
Decor and location were fantastic. The staff were so attentive and helped us with our issue.
It was my partners birthday and they gave us a room with a view and a nice message and cake, which was just so kind and unexpected, so thanks for that.
Breakfast was cereal, fresh fruit and fry up. Veg sausage too and the Waffle Makers 🧇 😋.
Fantastic hotel and SUPER FRIENDLY staff, all always greeting us wherever in the building.
Hats off to whole team at Hampton Waterloo Bravo 👏

We had a great stay during our visit to London. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was just right - so much choice! Finally, were felt safe and secure during our time in the hotel. Very Good.

Perfect location for sightseeing in London. There is no need to have a car in the city and very little need for a taxi/ride share when staying here. While the bar area is small and very much like a hotel lobby, it is an easy place to grab a pint while waiting on others to show up or finish getting ready. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Any negatives are offset by the location and reasonable price for Central London.

Fabulous stay, friendly staff and central to everything, a quick walk to Waterloo station. The room was on the first floor and although facing onto the main road you couldn't hear a thing. Comfy bed, clean and good breakfast! Was an enjoyable stay
K. H.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast offering was excellent.
Only downside was no evening meals available at the time of my stay and was not told upon booking.
D. A.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Offers traditional Hilton hospitality. Good value for money. Excellent breakfast; close to public transport and main city centre attractions; friendly Hilton staff. Many thanks.
N. B.
Had a most enjoyable stay and will definitely return. Very good value for money. Comfortable beds, very good shower, room was clean, Internet was free and worked ok although a bit slow. Bar was a bit expensive but it is London! Breakfast was hot with a decent range of options for the price. Restaurant was closed due to Covid so can't comment on evening meals.
Good location with the 176 bus stop nearby taking you directly to Trafalgar Square and beyond otherwise Waterloo tube station is less than 10 minutes walk.
P. H.
Excellent hotel in a convenient location for the South Bank, West End and City. Clean and modern, but not intimidatingly large. Good facilities, and excellent staff. A great treat to stay there.
G. W.
Staff help and service was excellent and we were able to check in early. The room was comfortable and we were able to leave luggage at the hotel until the evening on the day of departure. The hotel is well sited and very close to Waterloo Station and many bus routes which eased travel around the capital. Will select this hotel on future visits.

Great location for many of the "big" sites of London, about a mile from many of them. Hotel staff was great. Excellent breakfast buffet. Room clean. No issues with room or hotel during our stay. Room rates reasonable. Strongly recommended.
R. J.
I stayed one night. the good things were: easy fast check-in. comfortable and spacious rooms. Amenities were supplied. Bed was soft and comfortable. Breakfast was good. there was plenty of options, most people went for the cooked English breakfast, which was fresh and tasty. The room rates were a bit higher than expected due to the time of year. only disappoinment was the poor quality of food served in the restaurant.
C. V.
A nice, clean hotel very near Waterloo station so makes it easy to get anywhere in Central London you need to. Comfortable beds, no concern with security in area.. Breakfast is included which helps when you are travelling and eating all meals out. Do not hesitate to book here, we have stayed here several times and will return again because of how easy it is to get to all the places we wanted to in London.

Quiet, comfortable rooms; lovely people. Even a decent fitness room. I was a bit shocked that no-one was wearing a mask, though
E. B.
Had such a good stay, their breakfast is amazing. The hot chocolate was the best!! Will definitely be going back again
M. S.
Pretty good hotel, kinda expensive for what you get in return but I believe the price is because of the location. 15min walk to London Eye and the Big Ben. The staff is very polite and friendly. The place is very clean.
C. B.
A fabulous place , our room was on the top floor was lovely woth amazing views over London towards the Shard , the room was very tidy and well maintained, the breakfast is well recommended with a complete choice of cooked and continental or both .....
A. D.
Great Hampton Inn just on the South Side of the river near Waterloo Station. If you don't mind a 20 to 30 min walk yo Leicester Square or 20 mins to Covent Garden over the bridge a really good economic place to stay. Breakfast was good for a family. Very helpful during covid times.
C. Y.
Very comfortable, modern, plush bath towels. staff super friendly, loved breakfast. I will stay again soon
S. O.
Perfect. Excellent value and close to everything we needed to get to. Friendly and helpful staff, comfy beds and best breakfast spread ever!
E. M.
Wonderful helpful Staff particularly Romeo who checked us in on Thursday Evening and Ben the Reception Manager. The location of the Hotel is excellent . We will definitely return to this Hotel.
M. P.
Amazing location, walking distance from London eye, courteous staff, delicious breakfast albeit not a lot of options or variety over multiple days.
M. B.
Too many good points to mention! Room was ready early, location great, view of the shard. Great breakfast and polite friendly staff. Left some items in the wardrobe after checking out, contacted the hotel, items were retrieved and returned. What a great hotel!!
J. M. D.
Great hotel for a short stay in London. Very good premises, great service and fantastic location just by Waterloo underground and train station. But also a short and lovey walk to Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, etc.
L. W.
Really lovely welcome, lovely welcome note and little cake when I mentioned it was for a birthday. Clean and efficient, enjoyed my stay!
S. M.
GREAT hotel with GREAT staff. Always asked if we enjoyed our breakfast and wished a pleasant day. Room perfect too. Very comfortable beds with excellent shower. GREAT location too, a few mins walk from Waterloo station. EXCELLENT price compared to nearby locations. Got checked in exceptionally early due to travelling down on sleeper, arriving at 7amish. Was only wanting to leave our luggage. A VERY kind young lady said she had a room available. What an absolute star and credit to your company. Unfortunately didn't catch her name and sadly didn't see her again throughout our stay. She checked us in around 7/7.30am Saturday 4th Dec so just wanted to say a massive thank you to her in particular. Not sure wjy its only a 3 star though, so extra star from me would go to your staff. Your staff are a credit to Hampton by Hilton 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
C.
Lovely Lovely hotel, very good location and easy to find if the area is unknown.
Breakfast was good but food quality could be looked into. Quality of meat, sausages n bacon is something I'd expect from a Travelodge or BB. So Hampton by Hilton need to change that.
Overall great stay, was only for the night. Would happily come again.
P. C.
Excellent hotel for visiting the City of London, Westminster and the South Bank. Friendly, helpful staff comfortable room, good breakfast. Close to Waterloo and within walking distance of Embankment stations. Would use again.
K. G.
Perfect location and good breakfast, excellent, friendly stuff, rooms a bit tired and need updating, but overall good experience
D. M.
Great hotel close to Londons attractions, clean and well presented, staff very polite and helpful, breakfast was the best we have experienced in a hotel. Good value for money in London, only thing that stops getting 5 stars is the room was a little small with sofa bed up. Thank you we will visit again.
C. H.
Great location for Waterloo and the South Bank. Welcoming staff, all clean and Covid safe. Breakfast was busy but they gave advice on when it would be a little quieter. Pretty much soundproof hotel - good nights sleep!
P. A.
Great location and beautiful hotel. Only thing they could improve is the coffee at breakfast. If you stay here you have to check out jerk in da park for lunch or the Thai vendor on the street around the corner!
C. T.
Lovely stay here on a visit to Central London to watch some musicals and see some sites.
Breakfast wasn't the best. Sausages were of poor quality.
And no waffle machine?! That's what Hamptons by Hilton is famous for.
Prices are competitive for the area it is in.
5 min walk from Waterloo Station and excellent pubs/ restaurants near by.
A. F.
Had a great overnight stay while visitng london for a wedding. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The fact we could store our bags both before our check in time on arrival and after checking out was very much appreciated.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
K. S.
This hotel was better than some. Complementary breakfast was good muffins, pastry and fresh fruit being the best part. Although we had chosen specific time slot for breakfast at check-in which apparently had to be the same time for the duration of our stay. We found that most guests were arriving early and staying as long as they wanted with no actual system in place.. So while the hotel is perfectly located only 3 minute walk to Waterloo Station. And 5 minutes walk to most attractions including the London Eye.
The disappoint seemed to be the lack of communication. With the availability of Family rooms being low and the price can be quite high i believe this hotel is best suited too single or couple occupants or at least family with older children.
Overall the hotel was clean and even from the second floor had views on both sides and we would visit again just without the children and probably upgrade to a higher floor. To see the best views.
A. D. D.
Fantastic, the staff were amazing and very friendly!
The facilities are very good, the bar is reasonably and given its location is fairly priced.
Rooms are high quality and as expected of a hilton.
Overall would stay again, cannot be beaten for location, qualify and value for money!
P. R.
I stay here a lot and the staff are really friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are good value, and it’s only a short 5 minute walk to Waterloo. Definitely recommend it.
E. R.
Nice staff, always pleasant and friendly. Rooms are very pleasant, rates are good and the location is very convenient. Food could be improved, though I understand it's difficult to maintain a big selection during COVID times when there are fewer guests.
Y. K.
Good location (very close to waterloo station) and nice breakfast. Spacious room.
M. P.
Good enough for the price. Random crisp packet under the bed. Couldn't get onto the WiFi in my room
M. D.
Nice room, as expected from Hampton, selection on breakfast was also good.
Most importantly though, there was no noise in the rooms from passing guests or outside world and I could sleep without any interruptions
J. (.
We had trouble checking in as it was booked through a third-party website. That said, the hotel sorted it.
The location is great and the rooms were clean.
Be sure to have breakfast early as it gets extremely busy.
M. T.
Excellent customer service!
Fantastic views of London from the 8th floor as we booked the Queen Room. Not disappointed.. Very quiet also.. Worth every penny.. Ty!! See you in November 2021! 😉
K. S.
Very good service and clean hotel but all the rooms Are very small. Conveniently located from all the tourist attractions. Walking distance from Waterloo and elephant and castle Station
M. M.
Hotel is conveniently located close to the Waterloo underground station. I was able to walk to the London Eye, Big Ben, and Westminister's Abbey, all of which are within one mile from the hotel. Buckingham Palace is within 1.5 miles from the hotel. Clean and well maintained hotel. The breakfast offerings were extensive and more than adequate. It was refreshing to have hot breakfast options. At times, it seems the front desk was understaff as lines were long with multiple guests waiting to be checked in.
F. L.
The staff are nice and friendly and the room was some what clean but was disappointed with no USB ports in any of the plugs and the bed made so much noise just rolling over didn’t get much sleep also didn’t think much of the breakfast
S. L.
A great stay in such a modern well run hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, location is excellent and the hotel is super clean and comfortable.
M. J.
Would rate the location higher that 5/5 if I could. Walking distance to Waterloo station making it the perfect location to stay for vacation. Under 20min to travel from the hotel to Piccadilly, Tower of London, or Hyde Park. Close enough to the station that me lugging my heavy suitcase wasn't an issue. They will let you drop off your luggage if you get there before check-in. And across from Waterloo is a Tesco/Salisbury so you can get some pre-made food. Boots inside Waterloo station if you need a pharmacy.
Room - Higher the floor, better the view. I was luck to have the London Eye as my backdrop and got a nice view of the city. Standard room/shower. No mini-fridge in the room. The bathroom did include shampoo/conditioner/body soap/soap/lotion dispensers. Since this was during the COVID era, room cleaning was done only by request. For being across the street from NHS ambulance station, I only heard 1 siren then entire trip.
If you are looking for a good hotel for a London vacation, I recommend them. Can't beat the central location. Time your day right and you get breakfast every morning before departing. Get back to the hotel and enjoy some drinks at the bar before 11pm.
M. E.
Perfectly functional hotel and good location near Waterloo, but that's all. The breakfast is very poor quality using cheap ingredients and there is nothing special about the rooms.
W. I.
Loves the room, spacious and very clean, staff is extremely friendly and location is very good.
Breakfast menu needs more variety.
N. G.
Fantastic location if you are planning to be a tourist in london - but the rooms are always quite disappointingly small for their price. I’m sure the biggest contributing factor would be that it’s so central but it does feel like a squeeze.
All Covid procedures seem to be correctly followed and of course, there is always the expected high standard of customer service delivered by the Hampton.
P. S.
The hotel is very well located on the South Bank of London.
Very close to bus stops and underground stations, you can reach your destination quickly with minimum walk.
The staff were all very friendly and I consider them the strong point of this hotel. It the staff were not excellent I would give the hotel three stars maximum.
Breakfast was OK, and the single dinner I had one evening at the hotel restaurant was good.
Wifi was reasonably fast, no interruptions.
My room was quiet, even though I turned the A/C off in the night because the humming was noticeable and didn't let me sleep.
The bathroom needed a refurbishment. The single towel holder was spinning around and dropped the towel on the floor, toilet paper holder was crooked, one area of the carpet next to the bed was continuously wet, some leak I suppose , the faucet sink was cracked and dirty. Cleaning could also be better, there was some kind of gross gooey substance on the carpet which stuck to my foot whenever i stepped on it, so I had to move the armchair over it to avoid touching it.
A. P.
Nice hotel, good location. Plenty of choice for breakfast
B. B.
Great location, very nice accommodation, the most friendly and helpful staff we have ever found, without exception, the whole experience was first class, thank you.
K.
We had a lovely stay on Bank Holiday Monday. The staff were friendly and the room was comfy and clean.
There was only one slightly small problem (lucky we didn’t need it) there was a spot of mould in the top of the shampoo pump that was a bit grim to look at. This didn’t effect the quality of the stay.
The hotel was really close to the station, and it was an easy walk down to the river for dinner and drinks. Also a good corner shop open opposite until midnight for snacks and drinks.
F. H.
Breakfast was below average, Romanian housekeeping rude talking bad about guests and about me, not knowing I speak the same language. Asian receptionist at front desk was rude all the time with me while Giada and Laura were very kind and helpful. Overral this is not a Hilton. I know cause I used to work in Hilton. So many ridiculous problems I had during my stay due to lack of communication in your staff. Waited 25 minutes in line to check in, noise from corridor unbearable, couldn't sleep at night and so on.
R. A.
Very clean rooms, very friendly nice staff and great price for a London.
Definitely would say again, thank you Hilton.
L. R.
Could not fault staff. Very willing to help no matter how small the problem. Rooms very clean an fit for purpose
A.
Perfect accomodation, maybe a little smaller than expected but can't find many issues with my stay, staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was gorgeous.
T. P.
This is a decent hotel and the 3 star rating is probably on the low side it could be a 4 star if it was not so dated inside
S. W.
Stayed for 5 nights I can't fault the room. Breakfast was a gd verity and staff very friendly.
C. F.
Great location and a lovely welcoming clean hotel. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and tasty fresh food. Highly recommended hotel a few minutes walk from Waterloo station and not far from the London Eye, and the West End is easily walkable.
D. H.
Hotels staff friendly and helpful
Rooms clean and tidy
C. S.
Great location only 5 min walk from Waterloo, friendly staff - room decent size and clean
J. O.
Clean and central! Good buffet choice for breakfast.
M. B.
Lovely rooms. Attentive staff. Only complaint queues at breakfast
C. R.
Clean, comfortable, great location for sight seeing. Perfect for our family.
l. n.
Amazing, I loved the view the location ,the service and the design of the bedroom was so convenient too. The staff were so great too, especially the receptionists
R. I.
Convenient location to Waterloo station, and very nice staff, great breakfast (complimentary) and great bar!
B. J.
Ideal location for my visit, only issue was the shower in the room, not very good, otherwise no complaints
L.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, always willing to help their guests.
Special mentions go to:
Laura G. and Nicoletta.
V. M. R.
We stayed at this hotel back in December 2020. The location is very good, close to the tube and train and many buses. The rooms are spacious and clean. I knocked off a star because i could not see a fridge in the room. I was expecting to have a mini fridge. The breakfast was not nice and i think this was more because of this covid situation but probably in normal times the breakfast might be a good one. Overall a good experience and definitely i would book again this hotel. The reception was very kind and helpful when i asked for an extra chair in the room.
M. T. G.
We were here to attend the London Meet Up with the other Digital Business owners. The staff are friendly and accommodating, good service.
M. K.
The rooms are pleasant; clean and comfortable. The staff are polite and helpful.
The complimentary breakfast buffet is extensive. From cereals, muffins, pain au chocolat, ham, cheese, salad through to veggie and normal sausages, bacon, eggs and beans. They even offer gluten free toast.
At the moment the gym is closed (1st Aug 2021).
Unfortunately during my stay some guests lacked consideration for others. Stomping around and shouting in the early hours is childish as is knocking on people's doors in the middle of the night and then running off.
N. D.
Not the hilton experience I am used to having stayed at atleast 10 hiltons previous including 2 others in London and not as clean as advertised
M. M.
Great place to stay close to Waterloo. Very clean, quiet and comfortable
R. S.
Excellent hotel and great value for money. Good facilities, superb staff who were always helpful and knowledgable. Good food. Great 2 nights undisturbed sleep.
J. L.
we had a lovely stay, hotel was clean, staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was really good. A little disappointed with the upgrade to a City View Room so if we stayed again would just stay in a Standard room
G. L.
This hotel hit the most important points; location, ease of transportation, walkability! Location, location, location! This hotel is in a great location for getting around central London. Even though it is on the south side of the Thames, bus and tube service will get you where you need to go very quickly. If you are arriving into London from LHR on the Heathrow Express, the Paddington Station underground lines will get you directly to Waterloo Station, only a 5-minute walk to the front door of the hotel. There is also direct underground service to Euston, Marylebone, and King's Cross/St. Pancras stations from the Waterloo Station underground. There is a bus stand for 6 bus lines outside the hotel on Waterloo Road for going south, across the street for going north. If you are into walking, there are 8 bridges you can access that will get you to the other side of the Thames, or to walk along either side of the river embankments. There are several shops within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. If you need a bigger shopping trip, the buses going south will get you to 2 of the largest grocery chain shops in the UK, in about a 10-15 minute bus ride.
I liked the size of my room, and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows were exceptionally well insulated for the street noise below. The bus stand was directly below my window and I never heard a bus in the 3 nights I stayed there. The breakfast is very good, with light to heavier entrees and a full complement of hot and chilled beverages. Hand sanitizer stations were plentiful on the ground floor. There were 3 computer terminals available to use and a black and white printer for printing necessary documents. The bed and linens were very comfortable.
N. B.
Great clean rooms with good space, You can have the view of the London eye, I stayed in the hotel back in September 2019, breakfast was way above average for 3 stars.. definitely will come back to it✨. However, 5th star not given because I have a health condition and did not get the help I need with my luggage.
Z.
Lovely hotel. First time staying in Hampton. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Right near Waterloo Station. River Thames 10min walk away. Entertainment and eating places plenty nearby.
P. B.
Lovely hotel but the manager needs more training not able to open room door but instead of being honest disappeared and left the little girl on reception to take the flack very poor service such a shame let the hotel down
S. B.
Great hotel. Within walking distance over Waterloo bridge to Soho, Covent Garden, Leicester square etc.
Waterloo train and tube station 3 or 4 minute walk away. 2 mins walk to The Old Vic Theatre. Local shops, restaurants and pubs plentiful. On a main bus route.
Good breakfast served, PC' s to use . Door locked 10pm. Use room card for entry and access to floors via lift.
Views of the London Eye and The Shard from some rooms. Iron and ironing board in the room, safe in the room and kettle etc. TV.
Staff, all very friendly. A most enjoyable stay.
T.
Extremely professional and friendly staff.
All covid related safety measures are followed.
Rooms are reasonably clean and made 'covid-safe by the staff (there is a seal on the door of every room before you enter that they have been cleaned). Complementary breakfast is provided in takeaway bags. Really happy with both the quality and quantity of the breakfast.
However, the hotel rooms feel a bit tired with cracked plaster, slightly age-damaged furniture, and small (for 2021 standards) TVs. Not sure if the facilities successfully communicates "Hilton luxury".
There is ''free'' wifi but I would urge everyone not to use it. Too much data is collected and passed on to third parties. If you have to, read the terms of use very carefully and decide if your data worths the service you are agreeing into.
L. C.
Had a wonderful stay for two nights. Would recommend and will come again. Thanks
S. W.
Lovely place to stay and the tower of London less than a 5 minute walk away
G.
Clean, functional airy rooms. Quite a long wait at check in but otherwise excellent service
P. W.
Excellent priced hotel for London, great location, decent size room and clean.
Nice staff, friendly and attentive. Thanks, Josh for getting me out of a stuck lift.
Not too sure about a room with a view I would not pay extra for it, however, it was so quiet couldn’t hear a thing slept like a baby.
Covid means breakfast has to be brought up to your room in a brown bag. It is adequate, with a choice of hot and cold drinks, warm sausages, hash browns, fruit, yogurt, a small muffin and croissant
I would stay here again.
D. B.
Wonderful hotel, so clean and comfortable and perfect for travel in London
C. B.
Really welcoming and informative reception staff and very comfortable room.
V. M.
Basic Hilton hotel. Clean friendly and easy access to Waterloo Station
K. R.
Given the circumstances and the rules forced by government, the Hotel did well to balance conformity with customer satisfaction. It turned out to be four days of value for our money.
B. “. J.
Very spacious rooms, friendly staff, decent breakfast, most importantly in this weather; air conditioning throughout!
P. A.
Very clean so felt safe during covid. Great night sleep! Thought the price was brilliant for breakfast included to find out breakfast was a packed lunch which wasn’t so nice. Pretty decent location. Down the street from the station which was handy.
I. A.
Had a really good relaxing stay, bonus that breakfast was included which was really good. Definitely stay again
R. “. d. e.
Great location. Clean rooms and lovely breakfast, good value
A. M.
Rooms are clean, quite and comfy. The shower lacked pressure but is perfectly usable and the breakfast area could do with a bit more seating, we managed to get the last table andi didn't think the hotel was that busy. Great location though and a reasonable price, would recommend
S. K.
Excellent accommodation but disappointing quality of buffet breakfast.
N.
Great location, the staff were incredibly friendly always a smile and the complimentary breakfast was great. Found the rooms very clean and fresh. Could do with a little extra storage space in the room and bathroom but not a big deal.
A. D.
Very enjoyable weekend breakfast was amazing staff very friendly and helpful would definitely be returning
C. I.
Nice breakfast, comfortable room, helpful staffs and insightful London live environment, would like to come back again.
R. F.
Excellent accommodation for our annual delegates to a professional conference.
S. R.
Stay here whenever we come to London. High standard of cleanliness, very comfortable
V. A.
Stayed overnight (end of July 2021) and it was a good experience with friendly staff. If you are searching for one night stay to attend your business meet in Central London, definitely recommend this hotel.
W. S.
Lovely hotel, comfy beds charming helpful staff
F. J. C. C.
The staff is amazing, the location is lovely, the rest just leaves a lot to wish for.
M.
Very well designed comfortable room at a good location.
The quality of breakfast buffet has declined a lot since we last stayed. Terrible coffee and not enough staff to clear tables nor a trolley to wheel around to collect dirty plates. A shame for a lovely hotel otherwise.
G. P.
Great central location. Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms.
S. P.
Convenient location. Staff helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and clean. Covid protocols in place. Would recommend this hotel.
n. l.
Ideal place to be if visiting London....4 min walk from the underground
S. F.
Only positives with this hotel. Great location.. Room was good with comfortable beds. Breakfast was top notch and so was the bar. The staff was excellent.. Will stay here the next time we are in London for a football match. ⚽️⚽️👍👍😁😁
S. S.
The location was very good and the staff friendly.
Breakfast arrengements should be improved
C. B.
Wonderful hotel. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is better than any complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had. The location is great if you are looking to walk the city. The front desk was very helpful in arranging a taxi for our departure.
M.
Nice hotel, nice room, lovely breccy (breakfast) loved my visit back in 2019
J. C.
Very Supportive staff and extremely helpful when an issue occurred. A Superb place to stay.
d. y.
Lovely hotel
Staff very friendly and helpful
R.
The rooms are very comfortable. We were in three and we wrote a request for the service (more towels since there were enough for only two people and a sofa instead of a second bed) and they immediately did it for us. We didn't tried the restaurant for launch but the breakfast was amazing, it had literally everything you could even imagine. So good!
The position is perfect since it's very close to the London Eye, the Waterloo station and the bus stop.
A. B.
Very nice hotel. Lovely clean room and nice staff. Fantastic cooked breakfast busy at times but we knew this as they have a traffic light system. A very comfortable stay. Waterloo station just down the road and bus stops across the road. So no place was hard to get too.
ע. ש.
We stayed here for 5 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. Our room was on the 4 floor, not big, yet functional and comfortable (no fridge, cleaned daily). Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was good and the food was fresh. The location is just great, Waterloo station located about 300 meters away, and the bus station (176 and other) just in front of the hotel.
S. A.
Easy to fine, room was great, breakfast was good. A pretty seamless experience.
S. D.
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and loved the stay. Luckily we got a corner room which was quite large. The bathroom was huge cometo other hotels. Breakfast had a lot of options and was pretty good. The hotel is close to Waterloo station and a lot of buses pass through the area.
I. B.
Not bad for a 3 star bed and breakfast, clean pleasant staff
A. E.
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean nice room. A little smaller than “normal” by American standard No in-room fridge or clothes dresser so had to keep all our clothes in suitcases but still good, just setting correct expectations. Room was very soundproof despite being close to bus line. No noise at all. Breakfast was good selection and tasty and open til 11am!! Convenient, safe location to the tube & train lines and walking distance to Southbank of the Thames where there is great selection of restaurants and shops, and London Eye.
J. K.
Very friendly and polite staff always willing to assist. Breakfast is great with good varieties and quantities. Definitely will visit again in the future. Definitely will visit again in the future. Rooms are 21m, good size through and is daily cleaned
c. o.
Great value for money, Great staff, Super clean, Great location and Great selection of breakfast choice.
M. F.
For me the location is excellent, a short walk from Waterloo Station.
The rooms are not so big, but perfectly acceptable for two people. They are new and clean. The usual style of Hampton room.
Excellent staff who were always willing to help. The service was excellent.
Breakfast is included for everyone, plenty of options. Waiting time is an issue at the weekend, which is not a big surprise. We timed to go a little earlier (before 8am) and had no queueing or problem to find space.
Overall an excellent stay. The only small negative was the room had only one set of towels, we didn't find out until next morning!
M. P.
I really have no complaints! The towels could be softer? One of our rooms was beside the hall door which slammed fairly regularly early in the morning which was disruptive. Otherwise it was quiet, exceptionally clean, the staff was delightful, and we were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.
J. M. A.
Modern hotel, located at the very center of the city only a few hundred meters from Waterloo station. The breakfast is excellent and complimentary(!) and the rooms are nice and well equipped if a bit small (especially if you have to have an extra bed in a two person room). Only negative thing to say is that the bar is a bit boring in the evening.
A. B.
Exactly what I needed. A clean room. Easy access and decent breakfast.
C. R.
Great hotel! Perfect location for visiting London (about 15 mins from Westminster and downtown.) Hotel staff was nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also a welcomed treat and had amazing croissants/pastries alongside more traditional British breakfast offerings.
K. H.
We were very pleased with this hotel. We were allowed to check in early, the hotel itself was quiet, the rooms were nicely decorated, and the complimentary breakfast was varied and filling. Every staff member was kind and greeted us. We would absolutely stay here again.
D. W.
Enjoyed my stay last night. Avoided the 24/7 pizza option but sorely tempted. Comfy room with space and modern shower. Staff helpful. Breakfast good with usual options. Good location with short walk to Waterloo stations and South bank.
N. K.
Cleaning was a bit of an issue, looks like the cleaning lady just wiped dirty dishes with a towel. Didn't get to take pictures of the coffee mugs but they were filthy too.
Otherwise reception staff are friendly and helpful, good breakfast offering and rooms are spacious.
A. B.
The hotel overall for the price is pretty reasonable. As an international traveler staying here for a couple days, there was nothing I was surprised by except that the rooms had no fridge/bottled water and that there were only European plugs (no USB ports). The front desk staff were very friendly though and also gave an adapter to borrow for our stay. The place was clean and was about a 6min walk from the nearest underground station, making it pretty easy to travel around and sightsee.
A. A.
The hotel has a great location, very easy to access the main tourist sites at a reasonable price. The breakfast was quite good but is the same everyday, so it becomes repititive if you stay for more than two days. The room was of decent size (queen plus sofa) for London, if you are from north America expect it to be crammed but you can get two suitcases in. I found the staff to be helpful. The air conditioning worked great if you value that. Only downside I would say is house cleaning. I felt like they didn't do a proper job in cleaning the room, just came in and made the bed without taking the trash.
J. K.
For a reasonable price, you get a comfortable sleep, quiet room convenient to Waterloo tube station, friendly staff and lots of free breakfast foods. There's even a cappuccino machine and business center. No complaints at all; I would stay here again for sure.
T. D.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is really what I liked most with a broad choice of food. The room was very clean and quite spacious for the price. Very friendly staff, too. Nothing special in general but there were no flaws in my opinion. You can't go wrong by booking here.
M. A.
Very good and well priced hotel with easy access to Southbank. It serves drinks and food even until the early hours in case you need sobering up! There can be queues for breakfast in the morning at peak times, so plan ahead, I guess it’s just a popular convenient location.
K. R. M.
A lovely short stay while attending an Investiture at Buckingham Palace. Comfortable room, clean and quiet. Great variety of choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well done everyone involved.
T. M.
Very good service - easy check-in (room was ready around 11), easy chcek-out (no problem to leave bags in safe place). Nice breakfast - english, continental, full choice of coffees, self-make waffels, fresh fruits ald cakes. Room - clean, …
M. L.
Loved our stay at this hotel! It's is just minutes away from the Train/underground station and a short walk to the London eye. The breakfast they offer was lovely. The on-site restaurant offered more American type cuisine but it was good food albeit a little pricey for somethings. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit London!

Ticks all boxes
Clean efficient modern hotel. breakfast is really pretty good buffet. Its comfortably a three star
For tourists its not a great area but you are reasonably close to waterloo station.
We stayed here for an event at the old vic which is 150m away and had to pay well above what the accommodation is worth, however if you can get a room for around £125 then thats fair.
Lots of workmen stay here. Like i say nothing special but its an efficiently run hotel and no complaints
R. C.
The hotel was awesome, very nice and clean. The location was very convenient, right next to the train station. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing trip to London.
K. D.
Very good hotel and brilliant location
M. M.
Lovely Hotel very clean
Staff lovely
We stayed two nights and had to ask for toilet roll and clean towels
Also our beds werent changed after our first night
Apart from that great hotel an location
J. T.
Clean, friendly, great value, close to places of interests
S. B.
No frills attached Hampton by Hilton. The rooms were cozy and spacious. The location is perfect if you want to explore central London. Most of the places, Big bus stops etc are close by and at walking distance. Not much to say about service as probably it is not a full service property. Full points for the location.
D. C.
The check in was swift and well done. The room is clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. The location is close to Waterloo station so easy to get on the underground for going to other parts of London. The breakfast is good and there is plenty of choice of what to eat including a waffle maker for fresh waffles. This is a good value place to stay and I will come again.
O. V.
This is one of the best hotel stays I have had in a long time. The rooms are clean and modern. We were especially impressed by the bathroom with walk in shower and elevated toilet. The room was equipped with an iron and board as well as a safe and TV. There are also big mirrors which are helpful when getting ready in the evenings. Will visit again!
J. B.
Great stay,fab food and service
A. W.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Bedrooms comfortable, clean and quiet. We were staying as a family of 3 and room was great size. Our favourite part was breakfast, it was fantastic and the staff organising it, incredibly efficient. Definitely coming back!
K. J.
Very good hotel. Nice rooms with a lot of comfort. We were there at christmas time and it was so nice!
I can really recommend this place. Especially their breakfast was totally superb!
Overall it was a very good experience!
T. W.
Walking distance from Waterloo train and underground stations. Staff were attentive. The rooms are nice, clean and a decent size. TV, tea, coffee etc available. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, was well lit and complete with toiletries.
Breakfast was included and it was a fantastic self service buffet. Everything from full English to waffles, cereal to fruit. The breakfast alone was worth staying for.
D. B.
Nice but that little bit more needed for a 5 star review
A. C.
Very central location in the Waterloo area of London with very helpful staff.
A. S.
Lovely hotel and staff. Great London eye views and close to Waterloo Station. Nice pizza restaurants near by.
C. B.
Good hotel for the price in a great Central London location. Clean and well kept rooms. Excellent food located within walking distance and in the hotel if you like Indian influence. Staff is good and receptive to customer needs. Suggest not taking a room on the front side of the hotel as the ambulance noise can wake you over night.
J. A.
Very nice hotel. Spacious room, everything new and clean. Breakfast is complimentary and is awesome. The food and the ambiance. This is a great plus since most hotels would charge ridiculous money for a lousy breakfast.
One thing to be aware of is that there are no USB plugs to charge your phone in your room and the only outlets are UK type. I forgot to bring my own adapters so I requested one at the reception. They wanted me to pay for $3.5 for one when I was expecting to get one for free.
Like I said, this hotel looks new but they seem to have forgotten about international travelers and the fact that we all need to charge our phone at night!
T. H.
Good location, missing some touches to be a great hotel
A. S.
Hampton by Hilton is a fantastic hotel which is very close to Waterloo station, London eye. Location is very central with lots of eateries, cafes, restaurants. I booked the hotel on their own website and it was very easy to navigate and book. We were celebrating a special birthday and had requested to place a card for my husband's birthday. They had placed a beautiful card with a lovely message, a complimentary slice of cake, still water which was very nice of them. Check in was very smooth and easy, the lovely lady at the desk was very friendly, polite and welcomed us. She asked us about our journey, explained about breakfast and timings in the hotel. Thank you so much lovely lady(Sorry for not remembering your name) it was very easy to find our room, our room was in the 5th floor and with a bit of a London eye view! It was a big room, clean, bathroom was spacious with great amenities Ann's great shower, towels was good quality, bed was very very comfortable. We did sleep very well. There was a bar, restaurant and a huge breakfast area, a small library area, lots of couches to relax. Breakfast selection was huge with so many varieties to choose from, even a waffle machine. Loved the breakfast and all the staff were very helpful, friendly, cleaned up the table immediately for the next guest. There were lots of guests in the hotel. I did not use the restaurant so cannot comment on it. Checking out also is very quick, there is also a express checkout box. We also requested for a taxi to airport which was not a problem to arrange for us.
Overall we loved staying at this hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone for a luxury stay with special testament.
Thank you so much Hampton by Hilton for making our stay so special and our special celebration was even special with your extra special treatment. Whenever I am in London I will definitely stay here and here only.
C. H.
Nice location near Waterloo station for trains or underground. Was a good base for exploring. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. They have times posted with when it is busy and they are very accurate. They accommodated my late check-out request.
L. D.
Clean good breakfast nice staff
N. W.
Very good breakfast buffet! Nice clean rooms and friendly staff!
The breakfast had many options including eggs, bacon waffles and many other options. Another plus is the close location to a convenience store across the street, pret( a coffee shop) and Waterloo station which offers tube services and national rail train services.
A. K.
This hotel is under the change of Hilton and comes under Hampton chain, it means you will always have an inclusive breakfast. The buffet provided is good and good if you are coming with a family. For some reason I always found it booked may be because of its proximity to Waterloo. This hotel does not provide any executive lounge for the Hilton Honors members, however they do give one voucher for mini snack (you can choose between a pack of chip, chocolate bar or a sachet of nuts) and a drink (non-alcoholic). The place has a gym at the ground floor.
J. N.
Rooms are nice, A/C only goes to 19°C. Bed is comfy. TV a bit small for the size. Stairway and lift are keycard controlled. Breakfast buffet is really nice, lots of options. Dining restaurant is really good.
G. J.
Welcoming attitude at the front desk. It is a 3-5 minute walk from London Waterloo Station depending on your walk speed. All the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good quality too. Overall I would recommend this hotel for anything from overnight to a long period
R. C.
Reasonable hotel and decent price for the location. The breakfast options are great and includes waffle irons to make your own fresh waffles. No room service is available which is a down side and the queen room with a city view had a view of the bins outside so really wasn't worth the higher price. Would stay here again but in a standard queen room without paying extra for the non-existent view
j. g.
Great location for tourists. Breakfast is offered in great abundance to the hotel guests for free. Wifi is free too. Price is in the middle range. Staffs are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, with the special mention of Andreaa at the reception desk . From my personal observation, often families put up in this hotel. You can get a very nice panoramic view of London if you happen to have a high enough room.
D. C.
Stayed for two night. The breakfast had good traditional British lots of options, but not a huge fruit variety; however, the waffle station made up for that. Apparently mini marshmallows are popular on waffles. The room is very clean and has the right amount of space for a quick stay. The bathroom was also a good size. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. There is a restaurant in the building as well which was an excellent choice after being out all day. It was within walking distance down to the london eye area. The room also comes with a safe, but no mini fridge.
A. S.
Nice hotel, very good value for money. Lovely room and reasonable breakfast. Ideal location if you are staying in town overnight.
R. B.
Love it! Great location!
Great staff! Big rooms!
Breakfast was good. But the same every single day! They could change it a little bit!
The restaurant at night is amazing! Great service and the food is delicious!
L. M.
Decent hotel, rooms are reasonably spaced, very clean, friendly staff, pleasant lobby, breakfast no more than OK. Price was fair. The only problem is the location - a bit distant from any London highlight. It takes about 20-30 minutes to commute to any of them, walking or by public transportation.
N. O.
Clean, and great staff but most uncomfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel. Felt like a decades old half collapsed pallet of springs.
A. M.
Visited here for the first time October 2017. Under 10 minute walk from Waterloo train station and centrally located so it is an easy stroll to all the attractions and the West End. We did hop on the tube to go to Buckingham Palace, but other than that we walked everywhere. The rooms are up to date and offers free WiFi. To keep the lights on you must keep your room key (or a credit card) in the wall slot by the front door. Bathroom can fit 2 people includes soap, shampoo and conditioner in containers attached to the shower wall. Wash cloths were not provided. Hampton goes "all out" with their complimentary hot breakfast served 6am to 11am. Everyone can find something eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee and juices. We found ourselves getting up early just to go down to beat the crowd. To top it all off there is a pub right behind the hotel should you need your beer fix. The only negative is that the front desk staff gets busy so make sure you give yourself plenty of time upon check out. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Back again 10/24/18 and loved it once more! Stayed in room 624 very quiet and lovely room and then came back for two more nights 10/28 & 10/29/18 and was in room 307 street view but still pretty quiet. This time both rooms had wash clothes. :) No parking at hotel closest car park is at Waterloo Station.
R. S.
On business, good location for work and plenty around for tourists/ evening activities or dinning. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Decent gym considering many hotels dont sacrifice potential rooms.
M. G.
Convenient for us with Waterloo station a5 minute walk away and Kings college a further 3 minutes. Well equipped, courteous and surprisingly quiet for a London hotel.
C. B.
Picking a hotel in london where you have never been before is not an easy task. Having stayed at Hampton inns in the past we felt comfortable making the choice to stay here. It more than held up to our expectations. Staff is friendly, Hotel is clean, rooms are nice, bed is comfortable, bathroom is well organized. Got a good nights sleep, hot shower with plenty of pressure, and a good breakfast before starting the day.
R.
The location of the hotel is convenient for London Waterloo Station and public transport is readily available. The room was clean, spacious and had everything needed including an iron and hair dryer. Staff were polite and helpful and there were fantastic options at breakfast too.
t.
Amezing team at the reception always happy and informative ready to help I love this hotel I would recommend all my family and friends to stay here. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is amazing.
C.
I was there for a meeting and found the staff helpful. The room was pleasant and the food they provided was delicious and we had a great selection. The coffee tasted great!
D. M.
Great location. Just a few minutes walk from Waterloo station. The room was pleasant, a few things let it down. But overall it was a good hotel and a fair price
R. G.
Prices are reasonable given the central location (hundred metres down the road from Waterloo mainline train station and Whitehall). The buffet breakfast is of a high standard (breads, cooked breakfasts, hams, cheeses, waffle machine, coffee). Rooms are a good size for london, beds are comfy and showers good.
I usually have a room at the back of the hotel which are very quiet but the view is non descript. Rooms on the road side have a partially obstructed view of the London eye. Even though the hotel is on a relatively busy road, noise pollution on the road side is still quite low (thick windows).
R. E.
This is a great hotel. New (or refurbished, whichever), very stylish, nice rooms.
Beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean.
Wifi is fast and easy to log to.
The hotel is right in the middle of Waterloo district and only a couple of minutes' walk to Waterloo station and you can get pretty much anywhere from there.
The hotel has a restaurant, the food is good and reasonably priced. They have a very good breakfast buffet in the morning. There are numerous restaurants of all types (from fast food to foodie food) within a close and easy walk.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
A. G.
Cozy hotel in an excellent location, close to Waterloo station. The building looks new, so the rooms have enough space and the bathrooms are clean. The restaurant on ground floor has a good options of food, such burguer with fries.
I recommend it to everyone.
R. W.
Clean and quiet room, very nice breakfast. Room is small for three guests (two adults and one little kid). Location is okay, a little far from the subway.
M. A.
Lovely stay, however was disappointed theu didn't have their own parking. And also they should let us know on their website about the congestion charges in their area. As we had no idea because we was from out of town.
R. A.
Loved it... after finding the room safe and ice machine. Gym, wifi and computer/printer center. Short distance to Waterloo train station, accessible to all tourist points of interest. Continental breakfast every morning. Mini pub and restaurant connected to hotel. Definite recommend!
C. B.
On a good deal, this hotel is absolutely worth it. Always clean, great location, but breakfast could be better... Their coffee is truly a thing of nightmare.
F. S. K.
We needed a place close to the centre which we easily found here. Great place, walking distance to Westminster and good connections from Waterloo. Rooms were clean, comfortable beds (which we are usually picky about) and the included breakfast was great (better then a lot of brunch places). Would recommend it
T. B.
Very nice hotel the night manager was amazing I cant remember his name. Amazing customer service
D.
Amazing stay in London
Very good placed hotel, close to Waterloo train/ tube station. We got a room at 6th floor vith view op London Eye-just great, daughter very very happy. Room was big and very clean, breakfast over the top, big diversity- self made waffles were delicious. But what makes the staying in this hotel worth every penny is the friendly and extremely polite staff. Sure a place to stay in London.
C. H.
Pleasant enough, good location, good vfm, good size room, nice bathroom. Had everything you needed
S. W.
Staff stored our bags when we arrived so we could go out to see London since it was well before check-in. Helpful at desk and friendly. There are no I've buckets in the rooms, you must ask for one at the front desk. Breakfast is a very nice spread of got and cold.
P. B.
Staff great the rooms very good. Will come again
J. C.
Met friends there who were staying, nice room, no porters to help with luggage to the rooms and no parking. Two 70s + ladies touring the baggage cart 🙄Ate at the adjacent restaurant food was good.
J. O.
Used my Be My Guest Certificate at this hotel after an unpleasant stay in York. First arrived at 4pm on 8/3/18 welcomed by a male member of staff. Produced my be my guest certificate and was asked for a passport or driving licance for proof of ID. Lucky enough I had my passport to had as I was visiting the US Embassy. Given our passes and given information on the restaurant and times for breakfast. Entered the lift to 6th floor and entered out VERY small room. First impressions, small, clean apart from a few cup ring marks on the table. Clean crisp bedding.
Downsides, quilt very old and lossing shape bumps every where. Overwhelming smell of damp stagnant water possibly from bathroom drains. Couldnt even open window to get fresh air. Not the best view out the window Iv ever had, over looking the loading bay / laundry trolleys and rubbish bins. Did call down to reception to ask for another room even if I have to pay for the extra. No more rooms available... went out. Returned at around 21.30. Shower and bathroom very good. Aircon was great. Had a quite night sleep. Had to use the computer and printer as left an important documents at home this was a godsend as without this print off my visit to the embassy would have been cancelled so computer service printer service brilliant. Breakfast at 06.45 hrs was ok. Nice set up pleanty to offer. No take away coffee cups. Sausages and bacon not the best quality. Basically hardly get anything had a coffee and left. Morning welcoming staff very pleasant well dressed. On check out at 11 a.m. anyway very pleasant. Sure the hotel could have made more of an effort in giving us a better room considering we were using a be my guest certificate room value £179 if we were playing this ourselves I would have probably checked back out of the hotel and gone and found a better room somewhere else
K. C.
Outstanding value. Very good location and a very comfortable and clean room.
m. a.
Everything is as should be, just as expected. Standard quality breakfast, clean and big enough rooms, fast internet. The only negative thing is the noise from the Air conditioning, it decreased my sleep quality.
J. L.
Great location. Very clean. Fantastic breakfast to start the day. Easy access to public transport. All you need for both a short and long term trip to London
D. W.
Room very good but oh dear the breakfast! Both days sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans etc all cold. Really unpleasant. Told the staff on the first day no improvement on the second day. Toast and cereals had to make do.
C. 8.
We had a great stay, brilliant location near waterloo underground and pretty much in walking distance of all major attractions. Very clean room and wide variety of food for breakfast. Would definitely stay again!
E. M.
Got a room on the 7th floor at the backside of the hotel. Nice, clean and quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay, except for the coffee. You can bake your own fresh waffels. Would recommend it.
C. K.
Great location for Waterloo Station and Westminster / Waterloo Bridge(s). Breakfast was by far the best I've had in any hotel, with many options including gluten free bread that is toasted on request.
Ideal sized rooms with good facilities. Staff are very helpful and it really added to our London trip.
S. R.
The room was clean and simple. Not massive, it enough room that you didn't feel cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, if selection, although the cooked breakfast was only ok.
k.
Quiet hotel in a perfect location - close to theatres, waterloo and other "London offerings". Rooms are quiet, or just guest clientele is on the level? I was surprised how clean rooms are! A big plus and a big thank you to a cleaning crew at this hotel - great job guys
T. A.
The meeting room is quite good to have a training. The staff are friendly and as par thelunch the butter squash soup and vegan vegetable salad is so sumptuous. Would def recommend .
C. O. r.
Nice little hotel , clean, with very helpful staff. Was initially worried about being so close to an ambulance station but it was surprising quiet. Good breakfast, and for once I slept soundly ! Would go back again
R. M.
Perfect place to stay when you want to visit London England. Public transportation is just right outside, so it is very convenient to get around. The staff was excellent, took care of us like we were royalty. The room was very clean and spacious enough for two adults and one child. We would definitely stay here again when traveling or visiting London again. The breakfast was bountiful, plenty of great stuff to eat to keep you full for most of the day. Hampton Inn money back guarantee is well worth the risk.
N. H.
Really good hotel. Extremely clean, great breakfast and friendly staff. The room was too small for 3 people and wasn't a "family room" as they said it would be. But it's perfect and specious enough for 2.
S. C.
This hotel is perfectly adequate. Rooms are small but clean and the breakfast is good. No more then a 10 minute tube ride from everywhere you want to be.
R. F.
Excellent! Fantastic service, quiet, great staff, really good breakfast options. The location is also great, only a few minutes walk from Waterloo station. Highly recommended!
R. H.
This is a surprisingly awesome hotel. Would love a room fridge and a little less city noise, but these are very small details. The restaurant is good, location is good, price for location is on point... highly recommend
J. P.
Good location and good amenities in the hotel. Room was a little too cold during the night but was too tired to mess with the heating controls further. Comfortable bed and nice shower.
J. B.
A warm welcome a very secure hotel.nice rooms.very helpful.
C. B.
A lovely Hotel with warm welcoming Staff, the room was very clean and tidy and the hotel itself in a prime location. Even if we did get lost the other side of the river walking back to it. A perfect place to stay near to the train station. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people.
R. v. d. D.
Modern and comfortable hotel. Everything looks very new and fresh. WiFi works great too. What more could you wish for? Some more healthy choices for the breakfast perhaps, but overall very nice hotel.
J. H.
The hotel - Hampton by Hilton London, is very conveniently located 2 blocks from Waterloo Station. Also nearby a helpful convenience store and a restaurant that serves the best fish & chips in London. Included in our hotel fare was a breakfast served by the restaurant attached to the hotel’s first floor. We didn’t complain about this, but our room was on the chilly side and couldn’t quite figure out the thermostat in our room. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. For instance, I needed an electricity adapter for my USA products to be powered by U.K. electricity. They had an adapter right at the hotel available for £3 (British pounds).
N. F.
Great Hotel. Clean Rooms and the breakfast is pretty decent. Only complaint is the beds are pretty hard and I could feel the coils. Staff was great. Location is very convienient.
T. W.
Nice enough hotel, let down by small details like a cracked bathroom sink, a broken door fitting and the glasses in the restaurant being scratched after going through the dishwasher once too often. Overlooking the Ambulance Service HQ proved not to be a problem.
a. m.
For a 3 star hotel was actually quite good. The location is ok, facilities are new and up to date. The check in was easy, the room was clean and nice. The breakfast was good as well. Overall 5* for this very nice 3 star hotel
J. R.
The hotel has a lovely feel for it being centrally located near Waterloo Station, a local Sainsburys store, the Old Vic, lots of pubs nearby and also a McDonald's nearby! The pillows were extremely soft, the bed very comfortable, the rooms are slightly on the small side as well as the ensuite but otherwise happy to recommend this hotel. When booking you will find that breakfast is also provided cold cuts, hot breakfast, cereals and fruit.
H. W.
The room was clean ,bed very comfortable and good shower. The breakfast had plenty of choice although there was a pressure on finding a table at busier times. Convenient location
T. M.
We were on a business trip and had a very good time at this hotel. I especially appreciate the friendly explanation and welcome from the Korean staff(Miss Cho). I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again if we come back to London. Thank you!!!!
S. M.
We had good 3 nights stay at the Hampton by Hilton. The room was clean and tidied everyday. One thing which bothered me a bit was that there was no chicken or beef items on the breakfast buffet, everything had poke in it. Other than that it was a really good stay.
T. J. R. E.
Its a quarantine hotel without microwaves or fridges?? Very cramped rooms. Bring up cold food..
S. S.
Lovely place, we have had a lovely stay everyone was kind and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast. I felt abit uncomfortable with the dress code of a receptionist I think by the Yary. I was with my husband and felt as if her uniform was too tight and inappropriate in such environment. Overrall all went well.
J. C.
Very nice hotel clean great location very good staff
J. M.
Great hotel, very close to the tube so easy to get around. Staff was always friendly, helping with packages and the breakfast that was included was very well put together compared to Hamptons in the States. Would stay here again for work or pleasure.
C. S.
Convenient location (less than 5 mins walk from Waterloo station), good sized room for London. Decent breakfast (not quite so good if you don't like cooked breakfast, but still ok). Given the location it was remarkably quiet too.
R. J.
Nice room with london eye view. Definitely coming back. Breakfast was not all that great but coz of covid rules it's understandable. Highly recommend.
C. F.
Lovely stay at the hotel & will definitely be back x
D. M.
It's not the best hotel in London, it is though, one of the most practical! Breakfast is pretty good, rooms are fine, and the location is a winner for sure...great shout if you're working around Waterloo/black friars area.
D. T.
Very pleased with the location. Very accessible to all attractions in London. Very good breakfast and the restaurant has good classic European dishes with a twist. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Really recommend it. Price is affordable.
H. M.
Easiest 5 stars ever had to give... stayed Sat 6th Aug 2016
- The location of the hotel
- The decor upon entry
- The greeting upon entry - was a bit of moodiness from 1 member of staff but this was quickly overlooked due to the welcome of the other staff members and their wish for you to have a great stay.
- Room was amazing for the package price we paid for our stag - great bed and shower - space and just the feel.
- The staff who were on when we returned at 5am+ YOU PUSHED THIS FROM A 4 TO A FIVE REVIEW ...YOU WERE OUTSTANDING thanks for allowing us to carry on vibing.
- Finally the breakfast buffet...OMDays...the sausages and loved ur fruit and yogurts and all incl.in the price...
YOU'LL DEFINITELY BE SEEING ME AGAIN ...this time with the Wife
Thanks Hampton by Hilton
Peace HM
A. M.
Great hotel for location to Waterloo station, very quiet rooms (unexpected as on busy road), simple and pretty small rooms, but excellent value and staff were great. Also free breakfast with a wide range of buffet hot and cold options
R. G.
Location is the huge perk here. The free breakfast gets old after a couple days, especially if you’re here on work travel. Rooms can be a bit loud but your are central located. Don’t expect views.
O. A.
It is a great hotel. Quiet, decent and neat
a. b.
Nice decor. At the bar there is no wine and beverage menu, no liquor prices on display, staff said that the company have not provided wine list, just for fun ask them to name the wines and description and prices of large or small glass.
D. M.
Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo is a bright modern, comfortable hotel with friendly, efficient staff.
The foyer has a relaxed lounge feeling with a 60s/70s inspired modern lounge that is great for all guests. The onsite bar and restaurant are quite busy and provide a reasonable service throughout the day.
The rooms are well appointed, although I feel they should be more spacious to make them more comfortable.
No on street parking available throughout the day.
S. M. V.
Great choice, good prices and, being London, you get a good sized modern room with comfortable beds and a nice buffet breakfast included in the price in a great location 2 mins away from Waterloo station tube. Would recommend for sure.
J. H.
Brilliant location, room was OK everything u need for a short break
The view was a bonus, and breakfast was good, would return.
D. M.
Staff are helpful breakfast is good, shame their restaurant is closed on Sunday
R. K.
Excellent service & rooms, view was not quite that great. Buffet was lavish and most of the items were of good taste and quality. Check in was fast, my visit was in July 2015
G. W.
Lovely rooms, professional and helpful staff. Loses stars thanks to the poor upfront provision for vegetarians and vegans. Soya milk for cereal kept in the back and delivered in a mug. Vegetarian sausages likewise not provided as part of buffet (although advertised). Evening menu in diner likewise a meat fest.

Have stayed here a couple of time now for a weekend in London before Christmas. Very modern and comfortable. Nicely appointed rooms. Polite staff. Nice restaurant. Just down the roard from the Old Vic Theatre, conveniently close to Waterloo station and only a couple of Tube stops from Picadilly Circus/Leicester Square/Covent Garden, making it idea for the West End theatres.
A. S. L.
Great location for tube and south bank. Lovely friendly staff. Room was comfy and quiet with amazing views. Breakfast was good but coffee not so good.
S. L.
Excellent hotel close to Waterloo lovely fresh breakfast comfy beds and lots of bars close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely stay again
J. S.
This place was fantastic. It within a couple miles of most attractions. The breakfast was great and we had an amazing view of the London Eye and the cityscape. I would highly recommend.
M. M.
Very convenient location near trains and buses. Staff was very helpful. Well-stocked and fresh continental breakfast. Nice rooms, modern feel but still comfortable.
G. F.
Very nice. The room was great a little small for my liking but it is London.. great breakfast and excellent Gym..
I was a little surprised that I found a cheaper price than the App I downloaded...
C. W.
Clean, comfortable room. The front desk staff was great and the breakfasts were actually very good. Great location close to Waterloo Station.
J. K.
Decent for London. Clean, decent size rooms. Good facilities.
Excellent breakfast with lots of choice.
Restaurant is expensive for what it is in the evening though. Food quite good but slow service too.
A. E.
It's a bed for the night in a convenient location
M. V.
This hotel was surprisingly comfortable and the room was quiet full stop the breakfast wasn't anything fantastic but it was good enough. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A. H.
The hotel was amazing in great location just 3 minutes walking to Waterloo metro station near London eye also , the view of our room was amazing to London eye, by the way you will be unlucky if you meet Antonila ( breakfast cheaf) in your morning she is know nothing about the hotels hospitality. The staff was really friendly specially the shift manger he is very professional and helpful person and also LUCA very good person to be in the breakfast.
M. R.
Big comfortable room, comfortable bed (rather hard, doesn't sink), everything clean, nice bathroom, brilliant lighting (looks almost like natural light), comfortable armchairs, big window, absolutely quiet (a room with a window to the back, not to the main road)...even the AC/heating can be switched off completely making this hotel the first one where I am able to sleep perfectly well without wax earplugs on (in most other hotels, the noise of lifts, doors, other rooms, talking, traffic, and mainly the AC/heating making a continuous and more or less loud hum, sleep is impossible without earplugs). I only wish you were able to open the window to ventilate the room.
Single minus of the room itself: as always, not enough storage (one shelf and one rod, might be enough for one person, certainly not for two, even for a few days).
Nice receptionists, good cleaning staff (they leave everything where it was), fast lifts with no waits and no queues...
One big disadvantage (probably the single one) is the breakfast; we went down to eat once and absolutely everything was so unappetizing, that we didn't touch it, nor did we go down for breakfast any of the other days. Unripe apples and bananas was all the fresh fruit there was; a couple of canned fruit types, orange juice (made of powder?), just two kinds of bread (even the seeded one looked bland and artificial), one jam and one ham, only one kind of cheese, only sugary cereals and one very dry looking musli, dry croissants and yes the English breakfast (which might be nice). There was no way to get much apart from low quality products packed with sugar and fat....very surprised.
I would definitely stay here again, but taking a room without breakfast included.
As per the area, it's very close to several supermakets (Tesco, Sainsbury's and M&S 2 min walk away) to Waterloo station (5 min walking) and to the Cut...
I personally prefer to stay North of the river (who doesn't?), but it's convenient all the same.
A. K.
Overall a good hotel, which can be hard to find in London without paying an extremely high price. Great location close to Waterloo station, friendly staff, nice breakfast, and very clean (which isn't true of many London hotels)!
S. E.
Great value for money
Good location
Decent breakfast
Lovely hardworking staff
C. C.
Went to the restaurant for dinner. Service and atmosphere were great, and the menu had a good choice aperture from the lack of cocktails. However, the steak was only average and quite expensive compared to similar restaurants
M. W.
Book the breakfast. The choice is excellent and you won't do better for the money. I had to queue for around 5minutes, but worth it for a hearty start to day. The room was fine and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.
R. B.
An easy 4 minutes walk from Waterloo Station makes this an ideal location when staying for business trips. Clean and tidy rooms. They had the waffle making machines which made breakfast a pleasure in the morning.
R. A.
Much smaller room than the Hiltons I usually stay at in London, but well furnished, comfortable, quiet and functional. Good location as well.
P. T.
Very conveniently situated for our needs, close to Waterloo underground. Perfect for travel in and around London. Very clean facilities and helpful staff.
P. R.
People were nice, helpful for someone that didn't know the area. Breakfast buffet was decent. Room was good for a budget / fairly priced hotel.
E. C.
Nice place. Polite staff. Coffee is acceptable but pricey (central London, though). Haven't stayed here but I probably would if I needed a room.
P. G.
Convenient location, nice clean rooms and great breakfast!
D. L.
Stayed here a while back with my family. Very nice inside. The room's are well finished with everything you expect from a well appointed hotel.
M. S.
Great location! Rooms were comfortable...staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast spread was excellent
H. C.
Didn't stay here... Just met visiting relatives. They said it was good accommodation and we're happy with their stay. The foyer area was good for meeting up, coffee, etc.
P. T.
Depending on the room, one might have the view of the garbage court. Other than the view, the hotel is nice. Excellent breakfast.
B. M.
Great location, helpful staff and facilities you would expect from a Hampton. Always enjoy breakfast here.
J. L.
This is a very nice hotel in a good location to most of London's attractions.
Very friendly staff, nice clean and modern rooms and a veritable feast to choose from for breakfast in the morning.
j. W.
Great stay will go again
H. B.
Great view from the hotel. Shame they didn't decorate the room as requested for my boyfriend's birthday but lovely clean room, really comfortable bed and great breakfast
A. A.
This hotel is located quite close to Waterloo station...just a 3 minute walk from the station..Waterloo is one of the main train junctions in London and there provides easy access to travel by tube to any part of England...also its walking distance from London eye...if u want to take a stroll u can reach Big Ben in 15 to 20 mints..even less i guess...hotel has a great breakfast, rooms are small but very well maintained..highly recommended for family and business trips.
N. S.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Clean hotel. Great value. Bus stop in front of hotel.
J. T.
Good location and excellent service.
Staff friendly and efficient.
P. M. I.
An otherwise nice enough hotel spoiled by an apparent check-in tactic where you're warned you'll get the worst, noisiest room unless you "upgrade" your room for, in my case, £40. Result, got a really noisy room. Bizarre policy!
S. T.
Lovely hotel. Right next to the tube station. Lovely staff. Had a very comfortable stay for the one night I spent in London. It's in the heart of London so the sightseeing locations are very accessible.
B. Y.
Fantastic. Great size room for price in central London, even during Christmas rush never appeared too busy, gym very good for kind of hotel it is and top marks to the great staff who ensured a personal connection despite the fact it was Christmas time and they were all very busy- 10/10!
Y.
Very nice hotel, conveniently located near Waterloo station. Breakfast included. They have room with sofa bed that fit 3 people.

K. Y. T.
Nice location hotel, 5 mins walk to Waterloo station, plenty of good restaurant near by. Free breakfast but everyday is there same serving
S. T.
Quite not like your regular Hilton. It's a budget hotel n the breakfast menu doesn't change a bit. Quite boring. Location is good
C. M.
Service was great and community was friendly
K. N.
Staff is very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Comfy beds and nice view.
J. P.
Comfortable room, good food, good location, reasonable price
J. U.
Very comfortable and a great breakfast, but not as luxurious as I had expected - and a lack of USB chargers!
C. M.
Really nice, well kept. A bargain of a hotel. Only problom was the keycards kept malfuctioning. A three day trip cost 5 cards and an app to recalibrate twice
M. R.
Very comfortable 3-4 stars hotel in london. I got a room in corner of the building and that is very nice view. And you will get a wider room if you request you want in the corner
D. M.
Lovely hotel and staff

Quite a nice Hilton, central location, nice rooms, reasonable price, breakfast is good (but can get full of Tourists during Peak times)
M. B.
Nice and tidy place, the restaurant is very good with great food and location tho a tad bit expensive. My main complaint would be the breakfast. Dry and lacks variety.
Y. H. L.
Great breakfast with multiple&various choices. Drinks available at bar. Cozy and clean room (no toothpaste and toothbrush damn!). Great location
D. A.
Great room with comfy beds. Was only there for the night so didn't experience anything else they had to offer but was a very smooth experience.
P. G.
Convenient location and pleasant room. Unfortunately the window seal wasn't doing it's job properly and letting the loud traffic noise in from outside. Had to keep pushing the window closed to try and block out the noise!
T. D.
We were in London for 3 days. This hotel is very centrally located to numerous iconic locations, as well as the Waterloo train Station. Your time and availability are the only limitations! Everything is at your finger tips.
N. L.
Cant fault this place. Comfortable rooms, great service, fantastic breakfast. Good location near Waterloo station, Old Vic and a few nice spots for dinner or drinks.
J. B.
The Hampton by Hilton hotel is very nice, especially for the price. It is in a good location close to all the action in the city. Also, you can go almost anywhere front there via the good Bus and Underground connections.
D. F.
Very clean, breakfast is a little hectic. But other than that, a great value for money hotel central to everything in London.

Mediocre breakfast. Good coffee - nowhere to be found. I'm not nice when I don't get my caffeine dose for the day so they deserve that 4 stars

It's closer to an American style Hampton Inn which is appreciated for a long stay!! I was there three weeks! Karen Golding makes the place run great!!
