Hotel is located very conveniently for the Excel and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it was on the top floor and a little cold. Continental breakfast wasn't bad but it would have been necessary to go to next door hotel for hot food.
A. B.
Good enough hotel, especially for the price so near the Excel. There was no hot breakfast when I was there, I had to go next door for that. The rooms were a bit dated with lots of caulking fixes. But it is clean and the staff is never standing around.

Rooms are modern and it's very quite, good location for shops and ships. staff are friendly. the Restaurant and Bar were closed during my visit due to staff shortages. Don't use the stairs at this hotel you will get hopelessly lost even if you follow the reception signs, and probably end up by the dock, in an underground Chapel or another hotel. This happened to several of my party in the first night staying here. Also the shower didn't work in 2 rooms I stayed in, and I was upgraded to Novotel, who had much nicer rooms, working showers, a bar and ipen restaurant.
G. C.
Great room. Great staff. Could be better restaurant and lobby facilities though they do share good ones with Novotel next door.

Very comfortable stay bed was super comfy, rooms were lovely had all that was needed. Staff very friendly would definetly stay again. Thanks you.

What can I say but just amazing.. Felt like home, warm and comfortable very quiet too.. Loved it.

Wasn't informed of the building work going on beforehand, but was swapped to a nicer room on the other side with a river view. For the price was fine. Annoying that the room keys won't open the outside doors later on (for the Novotel next door which is the only way to get in currently), so dependent on either a doorman being present (not always the case) or someone else staying at the Novotel to let you in.
The Nisa 30 yards from the entrance is great and cheap, fresh pastries every morning :-)

Not fantastic, but very good. Friendly staff, fast check-in. Nice rooms.

Very clean, comfortable room, excellent breakfast and very close to my destination, London Excel. Only let down is the price of drinking: £7.40 for a pint and £3.10 for a can of cola.
J. B.
Breakfast was a total disaster kept running out of hot no signs to show people direction of the queue and only one person replenishing the hot loads of other people wandering around doing nothing
D. B.
Verry clean place and wonderful view . And not verry expensive.

Great stay, friendly staff, breakfast was delicious

First impressions:
An average budget hotel. Nothing special, nothing not. We arrived and our accountant’s name was Gemma. Fairly average service until we arrived at our room - number 5. It was like a dungeon. There was no window and was not the room we asked for. We asked for 1 double bed and 2 single beds. There were three single beds. We’re a family of four. Therefore, we went back to the desk and asked for either a new room which we asked for or another bed. We got the other bed. We went back and discovered more insecurities about the room. There was disgusting food in the fridge left by the last people that stayed there. We immediately left and said we want the other room; we did order it originally. Once we got there the rest of the stay was okay. 5/10
Food:
Average. Slight restriction on food but good in taste. 7/10
Toilets:
Average. Shower was lovely. 7/10
Overall:
6/10

I stayed here as a trip package and from the moment we arrived it was excellent from start to finish. The staff were all lovely, polite and couldn't do enough for you. The food was very good. The rooms were very good.
I would recommend this hotel very highly and thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Comfortable, compact and good location for a conference

Great breakfast choice and nice spacious rooms. Not impressed with the unvacuumed carpet in my room evidenced by toenail clippings yuk! Evening meals in the restaurant very poor however brekky as good as a five star hotel hence the four stars...

The room was nice, basic but quiet, clean and comfortable. Could have done with a few more teabags instead of just two, and more milk but reception were happy to provide us with more when asked. A couple more towels would have been good too, or a least bigger ones. Breakfast was good, and especially the large time slot for it, so we could have a lie in. Overall a very pleasant stay and would happily stay again when going to the O2 again. Very handy location.
S. B.
The staff was friendly and helpful. We came to the hotel couple of hours before we could check in and we were suggested to leave our luggage there so we can continue our journey hands-free.
The room was nice and cosy. It had AC, a kettle, a TV, a hairdryer, a closet with some hangers. There was no lack of electrical sockets. The bed was large. Slept well there.
There is an airport nearby so you will hear a jet plane from time to time.
A. G.
Had a fantastic stay (even if it was just for one night!) Great location, easy access to O2 etc. Only issue could be the proximity to the airport - don't expect to have a lie in as you'll be woken up by jets taking off at 8am. Very nice lobby and bar area and the rooms seemed really modern with everything you'd ever need. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great! Would definitely recommend

It was ok'ish. Location is great, price quality good I guess.
Room (501) was a room for disabled people, that's ok, but I am not a disabled person, although I am 6'5 :) bed was too short, but good. Shower was good, but had a lot of spots to let's say touch up. Room itself was ok. Drains were clogged, I kinda don't like that when taking a shower.
As said location is great, was not pricey at all. Staff was helpful room was clean and I slept next to a construction site, did not hear a thing until I opened the window. So all in all ok'ish
D. D.
Friendly, welcoming and patient staff, our flight was cancelled and the airline put us up in the hotel. Considering the number of people that arrived in such a short amount of time the staff handled everything very professionally (considering how rude some of my fellow passengers had been).
There was a bit of a wait with the room which is understandable given the circumstances, but the service provided by staff more than made up for the wait.
W. C.
Room was clean and tidy, view of people's apartments was not to good. If you don't mind the sound of planes buzzing from 6.30am to 10pm then it's a nice place. The breakfast was cheap, not monetary wise just poor quality, with a very small serving area so got cramped fast.
Staff were friendly though - even though its difficult to understand when you first arrive that you need to wait for someone to talk to you as there is no reception desk just people with smart phones.
R. B.
Small, clean rooms. No fuss, comfy bed, small bathroom. No drawers or a safe. Bathroom has the “one-soap-for everything” squeeze bottle. The reception is fast and helpful. Bar was reasonably priced and lots of seating. Wi-Fi was fast. Not much nearby except the excel though... but I didn’t mind as that’s why I was staying here.

We spent 2 nights at the Ibis and found our stay very comfortable. For the purpose of our trip, concert at the O2, we found the location was perfect with available transport links on the doorstep.
we had a good couple of nights sleep thanks to the comfy bed and the quietness of the hotel. My only gripe would be the quality and quantity of the towels. 1 towel per person is hardly adequate considering the size of it too. With regards to the cleanliness of the room I think that better attention to detail would improve the service too. Finding an interdental stick on the carpet possibly from the previous occupant was a little off putting and the stain found on the clean towel has marked down this experience for us.
K. C.
Not too bad. Only used this hotel to sleep. Bed was fairly good. Pillows lumpy and hard. No fridge. Hardly any storage or shelves. Shower/ toilet is a pod inside the room but works well. Convenient location to trains, river boat transport, a couple of restaurants, small convenience store. Would stay there again.
J. G.
The staff were very polite and easy going, great service from all. Location of the hotel is good for events at O2.
Hotel room was clean and all amentities were provided, however the toilet was very dirty and stained for reasons I don't want to think of. Surely it can't cost much to change a toilet seat as you wouldn't want customers to have a stained toilet seat.
The shower and the set up of drainage was very odd, gap between the shower doors meant water will travel all over the bathroom. The shower pressure was absolutely non existent, I think the tap had more pressure than the shower, this needs improving.
Overall the hotel is good but improvements need to be made, especially if paying £70 a night.
L. B.
Location was really nice, by the Thames, with good views. The room was clean, and tidy. I was especially impressed with the environmentally friendly bed sheets and soap in the bathroom and also the fact that we were provided with glasses instead of single use plastic cups (wrapped in plastic) which are often provided at other chain hotels. Additionally, the complementary snacks were Lotus biscuits, which are also deliciously vegan! Well done Ibis! The staff were also really friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay.
J. M.
If you’re visiting the Excel for any reason and need a place to stay, this place is definitely somewhere you should consider. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and were helpful in assisting in some queries we had. The room was perfectly clean, a good size and had everything you need for a stay. Bathrooms are the same. The real stand out point is the location, so book a stay if you’re going to the excel

Reasonable price decent room and the area keeps improving. Been staying there years it's good value, and fairly straightforward to get to via the tube and DLR. Takes about 25//30 mins from central london. Staff are always nice. It comes with the usual noise you would expect in corridors from a large chain hotel, but I am a light sleeper and have never felt disturbed here. There is a bar downstairs but it doesn't get rowdy (in my experience) and nice restaurants nearby as well as two supermarkets and good location for DLR stations.

If you've stayed in an Ibis hotel before, you'll know what to expect. It's not going to be the Ritz. What you will get however is a very clean and comfortable room, excellent shower and a restful night's sleep. This particular Ibis scores so highly because it's ridiculously cheap. I've paid a lot more for much worse rooms elsewhere in London. Granted you're not in the dead centre of the city, but it really doesn't matter when it's so close to the DLR and jubilee line. If anything, I think it being outside of the city centre is a bonus, it's really quiet. I'll be returning on all future visits to London

We stayed only for one night but it was totally worth the money. The location is awesome - next to the water and close to a DLR stop. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was nice and clean. I highly recommend staying in this location when visiting London.

I have stayed in this hotel 2 times, and both were no more than £50 a night which is excellent value for a Ibis hotel in London. Service is excellent, and location is pretty good too with DLR links. Beds are very good and slept perfectly. Overall, great hotel with good value especially at that price.

I have been an Accor Hotels Club member for many years and am usually quite happy with the accommodation and friendliness of staff. The beds are very comfortable and I particularly like the bathroom shower arrangement with multi-purpose liquid soap available.
It was just a little disconcerting to see so many people queuing for breakfast throughout the 7am until 9 period, but the quality and quantity of breakfast food made up for this !
P.
Very nice hotel with nice new comfortable rooms. Free coffee and tea is excellent! Very friendly staff by check in and check out. Free luggage storage which was great. Airco was working centrally, so it was really warm in the room. And the room had a very bad smell during my stay. Further it was very nice!

The rooms are very small but have everything you need. From a great shower to a bed that can be moved back to make more space and double as a "couch", to drawers for your shoes and hangers for your coats, they really thought this through! Any space you need can be found on the fourth floor.

Reception managed to give me the key to a room where someone was already staying which wasn't a good start. Not sure how that could have happened. After that was sorted out it was fine. View from the room was great. Room perfectly acceptable.
Not a big fan of the single shampoo / body wash you have chosen, it is extremely basic and incredibly drying. I paid £75 so it was good value but if I had paid £250 I would have been cheesed off.
W. F.
I didn't enjoy the check-in experience. It's nice to stand at a desk where you can rest your luggage rather than just standing in random places in the lobby where other guests can trip over you. Rooms are basic, which is ok but lack any character. Very cold in how they feel as a bedroom. I would not say it was a comfortable room. It was clean, convienient and that's all I can say.

Ok hotel. Quite expensive because of the area but the room quality didn't match. I had a weird smell coming from the drain, the cleaners took our old cups and didn't replace them. The breakfast was good food but the selection was quite small.

The lady that greeted us was very friendly and provided excellent service.
Breakfast was lovely.
The room and area was also lovely.
Just one minor flaw was there was a few hairs around the sink area but other than that.
Perfect stay.

This is the third or fourth time I've stayed at an Ibis Hotel and just as the last few times, it has been very pleasant.
When you first walk in you can either approach one of the people walking around with smart devices, or you wait until you get approached. Either way it won't take long.
Check-in time is at 14.00. Our room wasn't ready at that time and the crew quickly gave us a new room with the same (beautiful) river view.
Rooms and linen are very clean. There are no drawers or closets you can close. There's space to hang about six items, you can tidy away your bags and some folded clothes.
The shower and toilet are combined in one 'pod' that cannot be locked. Both the fact that the toilet and the shower stall are combined as the fact that the bathroom can't be locked can be seen as a downside.
No complimentary soaps (there's a bottle attached to the wall, you can squeeze some from that), but there's an electric kettle plus coffee and tea plus all that comes with.
Public transportation is close by and you're in central London in 30 minutes, but you'll have to switch lines in between. The commute might be a bit of a hassle.
There are several stores and restaurants located nearby, one is a Tesco.
All in all we were very satisfied during our 3 night stay, but we would've preferred a different bathroom. :)

Staff uniform is t-shirt and may I say this kind of feel is carried throughout the hotel.
Sardines in a tin rooms were ok at best. Bed very comfy but only one towel so had to ask for second to be able to wipe my face and hands after shower.
Single use plastic cups in bathroom were not replaced every day. Cleaning was atrocious and I have pictures of my shower tray after cleaners went in to prove this. Even coffee cup I left dirty was not washed for me! Remember I don't mind washing but there is no fairy and a sponge so cleaners didn't do their job.
Lights are scarce - not enough of them to be able to create nice atmosphere in room and bathroom light is so bright when you want to go toilet mid night that it blinds you. Alternative low light would do.
Aircon is what it says on the tin- Air ... con. It doesn't cool air enough even when on lowest temperature setting because it is ancient and wasn't replaced when they refurbished the hotel. Got picture to show for it.
Sink drain in bathroom looks so old that it doesn't match my booking description of "brand New refurbished rooms".
Breakfast hm. . . Chaotic, nice coffee but I didn't really eat any meat only veg and egg. Egg wasn't cooked properly either.
Tarty lounge chairs and they wanted to charge us for leaving luggage for collection after check out but last minute they realized it would not be a good idea as there was hundreds of us that used the hotel our even thousands so pretty large group booking!
No iron, no safe or fridge in the room either. Ironing rooms located on certain floors and iron leaking plus flimsy ironing board that kept tipping up when ironing. They could at least invest in sturdy ironing board!
Will not recommend the this hotel unless you are happy with hotel on the total cheap!
Will be staying elsewhere next year needless to say.

Great hotel if you are visiting the ExCel London or Royal London Docks. Nicely decorated, friendly staff & comfortable rooms with air con. Food choices are limited but there is a couple of restaurants nearby in addition to a convenience store. Would return if visiting this place of London again. It is quite a distance from Euston Station and cost £55 in a cab but London City Airport is close by if this is your preferred travel method. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

Great hotel, very kind and helpful staff, nice rooms and clean. There was a blowdryer in the room and also a usb connector plug, so that you don’t have to buy an UK adapter. The overall look of the hotel was modern and really nice.
P. C.
The room is compact, all clean and cozy. Once you checked online everything is prepared.
Only a few TV channels you can view, so most of our time at night will be doing Internet. There are good restaurants around and the cable cars.

This hotel is so well situated for a visit to the Excel.
The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful but you are able to "do your own thing" with no fuss.
We have stayed twice at the London Docklands Ibis and certainly will do so again.
Excellent value for money with a surprisingly nice setting near the water with interesting views of London.
S. W. (.
The room we stayed in was nice and clean, a bit smaller than we expected but it didn't affect our trip in any way.
The key cards for the elevator and rooms would frequently stop working, and not just our ones, everyone had that problem.
The breakfast was a disaster. Not only it is not included with the room, we had to pay £24 for 2 people. But worst of all it tasted horrible. For example the scrambled egg tasted dry, like it was on the counter for 3 hours and hasn't been replaced. Most of the products just tasted old, not fresh at all. Better to just go round the corner to a pannini cafe.

Quite disappointed overall. We came to London to meet our daughter in law who was over here from South Africa on business and staying at the same hotel. We booked a sweet room which according to the literature came with a free glass of bubbly on arrival and 10% discount at Westfield as well as breakfast. Don't know if your check in staff knew about this but we had to ask for the vouchers for the drink which elicited a questioning look from your staff and a swift check of our documents. Staff went to get the vouchers and all was well. However, we forgot to ask for the Westfield discount vouchers and they were not forthcoming. The room was OK, if a little small, but clean. The bed was comfortable but the selection of pillows were all very hard. Breakfast was, I hate to say, dreadful. When we got to the breakfast room at about 8.15am there was very little left. The staff taking our room numbers were visibly stressed and most of the cooked breakfast had gone. There were no mugs for hot drinks and no milk for tea or cereal. There were no visible staff to ask for anything to be refilled either. Staff eventually refilled the cooked breakfast but by then it was too late for us. Overall though it was a very disappointing experience and did not encourage us to eat at your restaurant. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Arrival and check in was was smooth and efficient. Staff helpful, approachable and friendly. Hotel clean and functional, modern in design. Despite proximity to airport, it was very quiet. Location is great if you're in or around Excel for work, but could be seen as a bit of a nuisance to get to otherwise. For the price, it's a great value choice you can't really fault.
C. R.
Enjoyable stay brought my 2 cats with me they were comfortable the room was big enough for all 3. Tv good size just a lovely stay. I have stayed at this hotel before but this time was much better. The staff were helpful great time.
G. H.
For a budget hotel, ticks all the boxes. Comfortable, very clean, lots of excellent attentive staff which means you're checked-in within a couple of minutes. Even when we got a double instead of twin room. It was sorted no quibbles in less than 5 mins.
K. S.
I hadn't stayed in this part of London before, but the hotel was great with a lovely view of the river and shops and cafes handy. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Only fault was that the mattress was a little hard. Otherwise, highly recommended.
F.
As good as an Ibis gets, really. Location is second to none if you are coming for an event in Excel. For the city centre, it's a bit of a trek, but manageable.
Location: 9/10
Cleanliness: 9/10
Service: 9/10
Bar/restaurant: 7/10
Value for money: 8/10
Come here again? Absolutely.

The staff is generally friendly and responsive to queries. The room is small but neat. However, they do not serve mineral water in the rooms nor refresh regular supplies of coffee and tea. Furthermore, there is no conscientious top up of shampoo in the room toilet. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay In ibis hotel.
a. p.
Fitted our needs although beds are uncomfortable. we heard no noise at night which was a bonus as the place was full. Breakfast is ok if you can see past the rubbery scrambled eggs. Check-in and out quick and easy. All the staff that dealt with us were pleasant.
L. M. E.
No towels in the room (other than a dirty floor mat). No answer over phone at reception so had to go down myself. Apologetic receptionist sorted it quickly. Air-con not working/switched off? So had a choice of being too hot or opening windows with noise outside. Other than that it was a standard Ibis experience.
s. k.
very nice room . clean and tidy. the only problem we had. was that this was a night away from home so we could have a lazy morning and sleep in late instead of our kids waking us up early. but this did not happen as house keeping started knocking on all the doors on our floor and come into our room waking us up at 8.15 even though check out is not till 12.00 midday. I told reception about this but they didn't seem too bothered.
C. R.
I was working at the ISCT as an exhibitor, which meant very long days and the need for peace and quiet in my room.
Check in was quick and efficient, and they placed me on the top floor, which meant no elephants in the room above. Room was quiet, clean, and fresh. Bed was firm and comfy.
Breakfast was OK, and what I expected it to be for such a busy location.
All in all, what I needed.
I. W.
Nice friendly staff and a perfect location if your in the city for the ExCeL centre. I didn't stay here as it was fully booked but visited to meet friends who were quicker than me. They raved about the accommodation though! The bar was well stocked and complementary water available. Food was great and well presented. I will stay here if back for the ExCeL again.

Considering I paid £55 for this hotel I wasn't expecting the best experience, however I was definitely proven wrong. Rooms were spacious and very clean. I never sleep well in hotels but the bed was so comfy I had a great nights sleep. It's a shame there's an airport so close as the planes were quite noisy but for somewhere so convenient for the o2 arena I'd definitely recommend and I'd stay again.
J. S.
Great stay, staff were friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Room clean & tidy. Even changed the hair dyed pillow case each morning. Definitely would use again

This was our 3rd visit, but things were not as good as our previous two.
Cleanliness had slipped - blocked basin which smelled, shower fixings had grey gunge, grey marks round the basins. Looked like this room had possibly not been used for a while.
Breakfast was down on last year too - the trays had been removed so to get a glass of juice, a cup of coffee and some food you had to make several trips - queuing each time so the food went cold.
Food availability was poor (No eggs, hash browns, or bread to toast, empty coffee machine - only one working)
Staff generally helpful - but I was surprised by rudeness of one member of staff talking to another guest.
The location and price of the hotel suited our needs - and yes I would book again for these reasons, it is just a pity that standards seem to be slipping.
A.
Great place to stay at. Location is a bit annoying since the closest Metro Station is under construction (29.12.17)
Staff is always there to give you great assistance.
Breakfast is pretty nice.
Rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable.
Overall, great stay for an affordable price.

We stay in Hotel during Confex exhibition. Nice hotel. chosee thia hotel to save our time to get to exhibition. Yes its was long way from Heathrow Airport to Ibis Excel but 247london-airport-transfers.co.uk help us with transfer on busines class car. For sure we stay in this hotel next year.
You can save time to buy breakfest and lunch in hotel, save some money to not buy food in Excel Exhibition centr and withiur que.

The location is ideal if you plan to attend an event at eXcel. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. There are plenty of lifts, so waits are not excessive (their capacity is low, though, they can only fit four adults) The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but don't expect anything luxurious, because the it is not. It is very convenient, however. Oh, and it takes forever to arrive from Heathrow, so if you are planning to come through, think about two hours to arrive by train or Subway. Apparently they'll open a new train line that should cut that time by half in December 2018

The wife and I stayed at the Hotel on Thursday the 9th of July in one of your disabled rooms.
The staff were helpful and friendly throughout the stay.
The room for disabled people was very good it allowed plenty of room for a wheelchair to be turned and moved around and the same applied to the toilet and bathroom. There was adequate adaptions
and bars to assist with washing showering and going to the toilet.
And the breakfast choice was more than enough to help set you up for the day. I can recommend this as a base to stay and enjoy the sights of London.
Ken and Gill Lane.

A great service. The hotel was very accurate and we felt very comfortable.
The rooms are big enough for two persons. The breakfast has a large selection and we ate different things every day. Thank you!

Small room but had a pleasant stay there. Breakfast was good and one can find plenty of food around the hotel. There's also convenient stores nearby the hotel.

We arrived very early as the long travel to you was very smooth and expedited, Your check in staff initially told us that the room which I appreciated was not ready yet as it was before midday, after I explained that we were watching 2 shows later that day and would not be back till about 11.30pm he kindly offered to check us into an available room so we could freshen up. This was a nice touch and very much appreiciated by my wife and I.
All in all a very nice stay at your hotel which was to see shows and the near by Cake & Bake show will definately be back next year.

Comfortable modern rooms with on suite, drinks making facilities, hair dryer, room service etc. 24 hour bar and restaurant. Affordable, excellently located. Tesco nearby. Surrounded by various eateries catering for all tastes. Also very hear is the Emirates cable car to the O2 and the Victoria Docks DLR. Can't fault it, will be returning!
D. D.
The location is very convenient, being only a short walk from 2 DLR stations (allowing for easy travel to the center of London). There's also a number of shops and bars nearby it's on the doorstep of the Excel center. The staff were very polite and helpful, no complaints there! The room also very very clean, spacious and quiet. WiFi access was cheap and fast enough for online gaming.

Having experienced all kinds of confusion regardjng the various locations of ‘local’ Ibis hotels we eventually arrived at Ibis London Excel Docklands. The Head of Reception and staff were brilliant and soon de-stressed me by providing wine. The room was quiet, clean and modern. Breakfast was comprehensive and nicely presented. All in all a very pleasant stay - highly recommended.

Fab friendly service. Room was great, very quiet and we had a wonderful stay. Didn't have food there, but happy with our room. Shower lovely and hot too! No complaints
M. D.
No problems with arriving a little early, no long queues to check in or out. Our room was small but adequate for the business purpose required. The stylish decoration and carpeting gave a feeling of warmth and welcome
L. T.
A nice clean hotel, stayed one night when a big convention was on and the price was high, but its convenience to Excel could not be better. My only complaint is the shower went from just right to cold then hotter then the fires of Hades, in about 30 seconds intervals. My room on the 7th floor overlooked the water and with quite a fantastic view. The fast check in via the Internet was handy as all I had to do was just show my booking confirmation and just handed my key.
K. A.
On arrival, the parking information was not that clear & I only received the Arrival text after I had arrived. The welcome from Reception was very good & the reception people were always very helpful. The room was very good, clean & comfortable. The Breakfast was excellent in variety & quality. The evening restaurant was not quite so good. Overall very good.
M. E.
Very clean and comfortable experience! The cleaner was frienly and very helpful too. The hotel is just a short walk to royal victoria station for the london underground and in a quiet area. The room was spacious!
Y. D.
Comfortable beds, good location for events at Excel. Elevators weren't working during our stay. Lucky us we got a room on first floor. Breakfast staff couldn't keep up with filling things up. Only one coffe machine working, no cups, no glasses, no bacon, no scrambled eggs. Spent our mornings waiting for everything...
R. W.
Rooms clean and good size. We took our small dog and plenty of room for crate too. Very friendly staff. Close to the docklands area. Close to Abu Dhabi Conference Centre and stone throw away from O2 Arena. You just need to take the Emirates Cable Car (under £10) and you are there! Perfect
P. F.
The room was clean and very nice, the check in and out were very smooth. What was an issue was the dining experience. On Saturday morning there was delay for some cultlery and the breakfast was very dry, been on the heat pass too long. We did eat at 09:00. The evening meal that night we were told would be a 30 min wait, which is not too long. We order at 18:45 and got our food at 20;00 after complaining, we were not offered any complementary drinks or anything. Also the bolognese was only warm not hot, I am aware there was an event on at the Excel but would have thought that the team would have known that and staffed accordingly!
S. B.
There was an unpleasant smell in the toilet/shower cubicle - possibly from the drains and the extractor fan in there was not working. Stopped by closing the sliding door
The air conditioning unit did not heat the room.
I reported these and received a complimentary breakfast.
A pleasant stay otherwise & I had stayed there twice before
S. -.
Very nice and modern hotel. Not expensive. Only bad thing is that you'll wake up at 07:00 because of planes flying low. Very friendly staff. The location is very good, near the DLR and near London city airport.
S. M.
We stayed only for one night but it was totally worth the money. The location is awesome - next to the water and close to a DLR stop. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was nice and clean. I highly recommend staying in this location when visiting London.
g. h.
The hotel is decent, clean and really, really competitively priced. LOTS of technical problems at the bar, but staff were very friendly and were obviously doing there best.
A. s.
Everything was fine. room and bathroom was clean.
The only thing I would suggest is to have a box of tissues in the rooms - that would be a good addition
Paying for parking the novotel reception was cumbersome - maybe you could set up parking payments from your reception area.
A. I.
Wonderful stay. The staff was very kind and polite and the fifth star is for giving me a a room facing the docks.
Rooms were clean. Bathroom was compact but didn't feel congested and best of all they were clean.
m. b.
Okay hotel with pod construction rooms. Location to 02 brilliant and use cable cars to get to show and back again. Cable cars close at 10;30 so you have to be quick leaving the gig.
B. K.
Fabulously modern decor in the hotel and rooms. Very comfortable bed and fantastic shower. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay and really good value. Well done.
D. C.
Staff very friendly & was nice clean stay. Very basic rooms & bathroom. Didn't like the shower layout as it next to toilet. Over all good value for money £50-£70 per night & car parking £16 per day.
F. M.
Good hotel next to the Excel exhibition center. Good quality / cost ratio as usual with Ibis hotels. The breakfast buffet can be quite chaotic due to the small place of the buffet itself, especially if groups are in the restaurant.
P. D.
Not a very well planned hotel. The distance between the lifts and the far rooms is huge, with long corridors, making it a long walk. The hotel is crowded with youngsters serving drinks until late. The staff is more worried with the bar sales and socialising rather than the hotel reception. For an average of £130 a night, which is not cheap, the management should pay more attention to those who pay for the rooms and not for a £5 drink.
Music extremely loud after 9 - 10pm. Almost impossible to speak with the staff.
Had to go to the bar and ask for a member of the staff to do the check out and stamp the parking ticket. After a couple of attempts finally a chap met me at the lobby.
S. D.
Helpful staff, nice clean rooms a bit small though but you only need a bed and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious.
B. M.
Nice hotel! Clean and with everything. There is no iron in the room but there is a room in some floors for do that. There is a tesco very close. It's a good hotel..but really far from city centre, you need to pick a bus or metro to get there (the station is close enough)
M. B.
Easy check in. Ibis hotels have had a really nice makeover so this hotel feels less like a budget hotel than it used to. Very pleasant stay. Close to a DLR station and cable cars to take you to The O2.
H. I.
Lovely and clean, great location for DLR, skyride, The 02 etc. Not A fan of the check-in system (teenagers with phones!!) but otherwise fine. Car park right outside available on a weekend, £13 for 24 hours which was fine.
H. W.
Great location for events at the Excel, and very comfortable.
V. B.
One night stopover, comfortable bed. Reasonable size room and bathroom for the price. This was a second visit and would return. Air con was a bit noisy, but it had been an unusually hot day, so I doubt that it would matter on a 'normal' British summer day!
S. B.
We used the bar area after visiting the excel centre and although weren't booked in to stay the night felt welcome. Service was fast and the seating was very clean with lovely decor. Just wish there was more seating which weren't stools. Drinks were reasonable for London with a great selection. Great little hang out for after an Excel event.
M. S.
It was easy to find and great location for out trip. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The bar was a nice way to end our night at the O2
D.
It was nice, staff always helpful
M. R. M.
It's good as a work hotel and if coming to work in excel London. Stayed 6 days and not a single item changed in the breakfast buffet. Dining area could be cleaner.
A. A.
Conveniently situated between Royal Victoria and the Excel Centre on the DLR. The rooms have been recently refurbished and look brighter than a standard Ibis hotel room. Was a little disappointed that my room wasn't ready at 12:00 noon. I have an Ibis business card and had checked in online earlier in the morning. I'm sure there must have been a room cleaned and available. Other than that, I was happy with my stay.
R. G.
Staff were very polite and friendly. Managed to accommodate all out requests.
Comfortable stay for the 2 days that we stayed.
Only frustration was the key cards getting deactivated several times in a day!
C. W.
The staff were friendly and the hotel was decorated for Halloween and they knew it was Comic Con which made the stay more pleasant. The room was nice enough, but the bed and pillows I found uncomfortable.
S. S.
While the stay and room was fine, the customer service in billing query is poor. I was charged an extra 95 GBP for no reason, and when I asked about it through email and your customer service system (website), no one has replied so far. Add to that the inconvenience caused by having to shift the rooms because of a smoke issue, I would rather stay away from ibis in future.
S. T.
Very pleasant staff, rooms were in excellent condition, beds were comfortable. One of the rooms wasn't ready when we got there and the rooms could do with a small fridge to put drinks in.
F. H.
Great hotel close to the O2 arena. Nice British breakfast in the morning serving eggs, bacon, sausage and bakeries. Air conditioned room perfect for the hot weather!
S. “. P.
20 minutes into London Tower Hill (City, not the tourist West End) and close to Excel and City Airport makes this an easy choice. Clean hotel with basic features but a surprisingly OK breakfast. Surroundings are somewhat toytown but there are a few late shops. Grab a cold beer from the shop and wander around the 'dock.' Staff were friendly. Be aware that this is a typical tourist hotel with basic, efficient facilities. Prices, ok compared to City.
D. D. M.
Great location for those exhibiting at the London Excel- its within a very short walk. Rooms are clean and modern, if a little small. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. However the bar area is more like a corridor!
S. F.
The Ibis was a perfect location for visiting the O2. It was 5 minute walk to the emirates cable car across to the O2. It was 10 minute walk from the tube.
The accomadation was as you would expect from a Ibis hotel. Fairly basic but everything you need for a comfortable night sleep.
The beds were very comfortable and the shower was clean and basic.
G. N.
I enjoyed the hotel and its facilites, specially due to its location. However, friendliness of the staff and availability is quite poor. The noise at the street on Friday night kept me waking up several times. I had to sleep with a pillow on my head...
j. P.
Give me a high service because of my allergy lovely rooms easy access (if the Excel metro line is open.) Just need to be able to clean the toilet or better clean in it. Breakfast was nice as well!
J. S.
A very 'bright' and continental hotel. Rooms are small but perfectly equipped. Interesting jazzy décor and the bathrooms need door handles because when one is closed the surrounding rooms vibrate.
r. w.
Great little hotel for excel show. Room was compact but clean. Bed was comfy and bathroom ,although a bit like a pod put in the room, was clean and adequate for our stay. Will stay here again!
S. H.
Rooms were clean and staff were lovely - the night team especially. Food at the bar was of a good standard and the view was lovely. Being so close to the excel was a huge plus for us.
S. V.
The common spaces were dingy, with many poorly-photocopied menus and signs taped everywhere.
I only saw my room, which was compact yet had a split, slightly undersized bathroom. The main part featured a tub as well as a shower; a separate chamber, tucked between the electric tea-kettle and the clothes rack, had the toilet.
My room was adjacent a construction area of the hotel, which resulted to noisy daytimes and interrupted sleep.
The hotel is adjacent the quay, as well as underneath the approach to London City airport. One can hear planes as they descend to the runway nearby.
During my stay, the entrance to the hotel was partly blocked by a large Dumpster.
J. T.
Stayed here a few times and the hotel is great. Rooms are decent and clean. Bar area and restaurant are good. Just watch the price, as soon as there's a show on at Excel the prices goes up.... a lot ;) No show on and its very good value for London.
D. 1.
Typical IBIS hotel. What can I say? Clean rooms. Perfect location if you're an ExCeL visitor but on the other hand too expensive during fairs. For that money you can stay at a better class hotel in the city and take a 30 mins DLR ride to the fair. Standard breakfast.
P. N.
Lovely room. Quick check in. Polite staff. Good location for the excel and the O2 arena. Would return. Only downside was we could hear the shower going in the next room.
J. W.
Exactly as the name suggests, this functional and clean mid-market hotel is only a short walk from the giant ExCel venue. Staff are helpful, and the kitchen is straightforward. A convenience store is opposite. Car parking at a price is available, but public transport by bus and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is very near.
D. S.
Nice location, clean and has parking next door. Bit loud when I stayed with people out till the early hours and the sound carrying but has a great view over the docks.
s. l.
Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. But the beds are the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel, they can't be more than 70cm wide. Youth hotels have bigger beds. Seriously small. Also, If you're going to work from the hotel, bear in mind that the internet is unreliable.
p. k.
Staff were an absolute joy during our stay. The rooms were compact, and the bathroom was a little worn due to the plastic material it was built with.
T.
Amazingly comfy bed, with everything you would want. Nice shower, coffee, tea. Room was very clean. Really quiet considering it is so close to city airport.
S. O.
Good value for money hotel. Staff very pleasant. A bit hectic at breakfast time, so probably a few extra staff needed then, but plenty of choice of things to eat.
d. s.
Lovely hotel really well situated for events at Excel as basically on the doorstep, food was delicious and good selection for breakfast, only reason for the lost star is the beds really need new mattress as both ours had a big dip in the middle and were quite hard and uncomfortable.
D. F.
okay, disappointed with the non inclusive breakfast and car parking. The room was very basic but satisfactory. It was unclear about the tap water being drinkable. Wifi was better than Premier Inn but still only fair.
M. J.
The room was excellent, really comfy bed and really quiet, which is the main thing. The bathroom reminded me of a caravan...terrible plastic experience, didn't feel clean and not pleasant.
Z. R.
Great location for visiting the O2. Decent sized room with a comfortable double bed & en-suite shower room. Excellent value for money. The DLR nearby provides superb links to the rest of the city. Would happily stay here again.
D. i. L.
The hotel itself is ok. Nevertheless communication between the staff has to be improved. Someone walked inside my room while I was still there and missing 20min for check-in time.
D. E.
From the informal welcome to leaving it was really relaxed particularly after a dramatic drive to the East End of London. I particularly liked the way we checked in . We didn't take advantage of on-line check-in but were expected anywhere with no check-in desk just receptionists at a lounge table. We were immediately relaxed as London traffic does tend to pump up the adrenalin.
K. O.
The staff member who was there to greet us was quite abrupt in his approach which was taken as hostile. Other than that the hotel was average, certainly not the best ibis in the local area with regards to service, window views and hotel layout. A little far away from tfl bus stops, but has a for station and Emirates Airline to North Greenwich nearby.
A. S.
The facilities are clean and meet requirements as expected from a budget hotel. We didn't receive a confirmation email despite ringing to request and confirming correct email address twice, this caused a lot of stress as there are several ibis hotels around the excell and we ended up at the wrong one.
S. B.
We arrived early and as our room was ready we checked in straight away, a seamless process with a few taps on a phone!
The room was spotless and the twin beds very comfy.
E. A. S.
Excellent friendly staff only 4 stars because of the screaming and shouting that wen on for hours outside. Great view of cable cars..O2 and the docklands slap bang next to excel and dlr. Shops bars and restaurants around and felt safe to be alone. I
J. M.
A nice space located on the North side of the Thames, just round the corner from the Excel Exhibition Centre. Very scenic especially when the Sun is going down in the South West. The bathrooms are semi-wet rooms, there are ample plug holes for anything you need to charge. We were disturbed in the night by a fire alarm going off in error which wasn't fun at 7am, but luckily the emergency exit was easy to find.
n. e.
Loved the place. We had to deliver the Tardis for 'comic con' exhibition. Its just next to the water. And cheap for the position in London? Fantastic food!
W. G.
Got food at the bar here a while ago, had to ask the barman if he forgot about me after waiting 45 minutes for mac n cheese! When it arrived it looked like something he blasted in the microwave. Quality did not match the price!
Other than that its a nice hotel, clean etc
C. R.
Drinks are nice and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is relaxed with plenty of room. Two minutes walk from the Excel, good place to visit after a convention, accommodating of cosplays. Cannot comment on the rooms as I have only visited the bar.
M. D.
It was a fair nights stay, "sleep like a rock star" leaves a lot to interpretation. I didn't find the bed all that comfy, and sound proofed rooms is a stretch as we could hear a toilet flush. But it wasn't bad for the money.
M. N.
I was lucky enough to get a room overlooking the Royal Dock with a view of the cable car going across to the O2. I can also see and hear the planes taking off from London City airport. The room is very nice with a flat screen TV and a bathroom "pod". this is very hygenic with no mould!! The shower is fantastic. the only criticism I have is that there is no free Wi Fi in the room. The hotel is also very near the Docklands Light Railway so you can get anywhere in London easily.
D. S.
Good hotel in.a quiet area around 20min ride to the Tower Bridge. Very comfortable beds, close to the cable car. Tube Station is 5min walk away.
K. H.
Good hotel at a great price. Easy access to the centre of London via the DLR. Only downside is it's location right next to the airport but sound is hidden when the windows are closed. Would recommend
C. L.
Decent price for a hotel in a handy location for Central London. Room.was small but perfectly adequate and was a bi us that was dog friendly.
M. A.
It all started wrong when I arrived I only saw one staff member dealing with all the check ins and it took me almost 45 mins to be checked in. The member of the staff then called another person who came and booked me in. Had problem with lifts. The card wasn't working there so it was just an extra hassle to deal with. Other than that it was all fine
I. G.
rooms clean. location good. car parking ok. reception staff good. dining at the hotel restaurant. check staffing levels as my experience was shockingly bad.
S. C.
Good views but noisy aeroplanes and they need a touch of maintenance. Scratches to TVs and. ¿Really handy for Excel though! Is recommend Marina bar Android grill round the corner for tea, great curry house!
N. S.
Decent place to stay if your out and about sightseeing in London. Room is small but clean, cozy and staff helpful and freindly. Will come back here if in London again.
H. W.
Not bad, but not great. A clean serviceable hotel with a comfy bed. Practical, not luxurious. The best bit was the bathroom - it was well laid and unusual in design.
D. C.
Stayed here every year for 3 years now. Good comfortable beds, no air con, cleanliness could be better but house keeping on hand all hours if there's an issue. No air con but this is England.
D. S.
Service is excellent, but being used to US hotels these rooms are much smaller. And the decor will remind you of an Ikea store. But it is clean and very close to the ExCel.
R. C. (.
Lovely hotel, fantastic staff, comfy beds and well proportioned rooms. Windows also do a good job blocking out a decent portion of the noise from outside.
J. S.
Arduous tube journey to central London, especially with a pushchair. Breakfast was good but limited. Staff were lovely. Very comfortable room despite noise of planes
H. H.
The hotel is at walking distance of the city airport and the nearest train station (the DLR line). The nearest grocery store is not even 2 minutes away on foot. The staff is friendly and the rooms are quiet, clean and air-conditioned.
F. M.
Good location, close to public transport. Very friendly staff. Special mention to Edita who went all the way to make sure we had breakfast even though we were leaving early before breakfast time.
M. S.
Checked in last night which was quick and incident free, they have a floating check in desk which means that sometimes things can get confused but worked well last night.
The room was clean and spacious and it was a pleasant change to be able to turn around in the shower. The only disappointment for the room was the 26” 📺 which lost on the large empty wall and could do with at least a 40”
Would I go there again yes 👍
H.
Small but clean rooms
Friendly staff
Unique location although far from the center, but the tube/DLR brings you everywhere
Airplanes departing from London Airport might be disturbing for some people, but there are no night flights
M. K.
Friendly staff and good bar / restaurant but the rooms themselves are quite tired - felt like it was in need of refurbishment. Housecleaning standard was very high which helps.
L. A.
A great location with stylish rooms and a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful. WiFi was slow, but I can't fault that too much as it's to be expected.
R. B.
this hotel is very well located for visiting the excel exhibition centre. walking distance. neat and clean rooms. helpful staff. stayed here during the BETT exhibition. overall a good experience.
S. K.
Great hotel and staff. Organised early check in as arrived early without asking. After check out my father was seriously hurt in a bike race and Stuart in perticular was amazingly helpful and caring.
J. T.
Staff are friendly. Room is nice, good shower. USB charger in room. Food at restaurant was good, good location if you are attending an event at the Excel centre. Stones throw away from DLR station.
P. J.
Found room booked to be too far from lift. Long walk for 80 year old. Explained to reception who changed room very close to lift. Staff very helpful and chatty which made our stay enjoyable.
A. H.
Checking in was quick and easy, the room was comfortable with great views. Location is ideally placed for the Excel. The only issue was the loud noise of the aircraft due to the proximity of London City Airport.
C. M.
I am not a fan of ibis they do not even have a desk anymore just some subcontractors who give your he key. They are of course nice but is is quite an anonymous place and at exhibition time awfully expensive rooms
Are totally okay. Ibis Standard
I. R.
Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip - great value for money, good location and link, great service and the staff are all friendly and helpful! 5/5 would stay again.
C. C.
A lovely clean hotel to stay in right next to the Excel three minutes to the Emirates Airline cable car and then to the O2. Couldn't wish for a better spot. The star missing is purely for the passing planes using City Airport but it's closed 2230 to 0530 so doesn't ruin your sleep - unless you want a lie in
Ε. M. J.
Small rooms but comfortable breakfast is pricey but its delicious I would like to give a special thanks to Richard & Sergio for such a great service on the checking in & checking out
a. r.
Disappointed - standards have fallen. Stayed at the hotel before. Room linen not no a good standard, smelly towels. Also you use to pay for storing your luggage.
P. W.
Very Clean & comfortable for a budget hotel.
Good & affordable Cocktails at the bar.
Only the breakfast isnt worth the price.
a. f.
The hotel was fine except for the horrible drain smell coming from the sink. Staff were friendly. A little noisy as there were low flying planes.
H. C.
The staff were friendly, easy check in. Nice size room but smelt of sewage. Location fine :)
S. C.
Excellent location, staff and hospitality
V. T. P.
The check in was slow and the staff is O K, dont expect too much out of this hotel to be honest, full of tourists and noisy due to London city airport being so close, i cant complain too much about prices but i would advise you to look for a place closer to central london as the journey back and forth isn't too fast... TLDR Aok for a couple nights in town, noo good if you want a comfy stay!
F. K.
Really nice and priceworthy place. Daytime a little bit noisy from the London City Airport, but no traffic at night so definetely good to go. Beautiful Area and sights in the Docklands!
M. M.
Well kept and quite cosy. Small rooms, basic service, staff very friendly and helpful, free internet everywhere, modern design. Check in within 60 seconds! Clean
T. H.
Good size rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable bar prices. Free left luggage.
R. L.
I liked this hotel a lot. It was newly refurbished, comfortable and a really good location. My only negative is the cost of parking! £20 flat fee!
C. C.
Lovely rooms, clean, tidy and up to date. Perfect location if attending O2 arena. Only thing was the staff were a little rude upon arrival and checking in.
m. c.
Cheap sleeping in the heart of 21st century London. You can catch a cable car to the O2 (millennium dome) from right outside and there is a good kebab restaurant and even better international supermarket over the road. There's a tiny airport if you want to bring your private jet. Post-modern!
K. F.
Room was great and staff were lovely. Perfect positioning between convention centre and some really good restaurants. And compared to some other hotels was a really good price as well
A. B.
Good simple bar menu at reasonable prices but staff overwhelmed by demand. The nightly rate of £229 is probably reflective of demand during major eventscat EXCEL but is far too much for an Ibid hotel
Y. R.
Room is TINY and the bed is very small, I am not a very large person but I could barely turn over without falling out of the bed. It is clean and I like the focus on saving energy and the environment.
J. H.
It was OK - but nothing special.
The check in lady did not give us the vouchers for breakfast and dinner.
The food in the restaurant was horrible.
The bed was comfortable.
P. S.
One of the better Ibis hotels. Location is good but only if you're at the ExCel exhibition. Breakfast is so bad that you only can assume they do it on purpose to avoid guests eating too much.
R. K.
Nice and polite service, clean room and nice view to Thames. Easy to get to by public transport. Thank you again for making my second stay in London such a good experience
G. C.
Great location, with clean, quiet rooms and very attentive staff. The rooms themselves are perhaps a little small but well appointed and conveniently located for both the o2 and Excel Centre.
C. R.
Good position for Excel and the Crystal Centre.
Good values for money. Very helpful staff.
Well -organised- no queues to check in or out- good use of mobile technology but enough staff to offer help on hand.
H. C.
Friendly and lovely staff. Although the room was small, everything was ok. Clean, nice view, comfortable beds.
M. D.
Nice modern hotel with fantastic views over river (ask for river view, amazing!). Room appeared recently refurbished and clean. One of only few London hotels I'd recommend.
r. d.
Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast staff very pleasant too. Good hot breakfast even at 9.45am. Would definitely visit again and recommend to my friends.
D. C.
Lovely staff, smart common areas. Rooms clean, good showers. I'm not a fan of the beds, but that's personal preference.
Handy for the DLR
D. M.
Cosy beds, staff are very friendly. Also had a wonderful view. Bathroom is a little cramped.
O. W.
Great location. Very close the cable cars to o2 Arena. Very quick and easy check in. Nice clean room. Lovely breakfast.
L. N.
A really great hotel, the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy. If you have an event at excel then this is a good choice!
J. S.
It's been great so far, and not had any issues, rooms are always clean and the bed sheets and towels are always changed.
D. R.
Cheap and cheerful (cheap by London standards). Good location for Excel, Emirates Air Line (access to O2 across the river)
DLR quick and easy access into city.
Some people may be bothered by planes but soon get used to it.
C. B.
Room was fine basic but fine. Was unable to order food from the bar at night as was not able to get surved (only one memeber of staff) not enough for the people trying to us it.
L. A.
Just stayed one night, room was clean and bathroom very nice too bed comfortable, only down side was the key cards did not work.
M.
Room was nice, everything good, only thing that would've been nice is to have more towels, toiletries and instant drinks.
W.
Had to stay one night due to cancelled flight. Was decent enough. Clean and helpful staff
P. H. (.
Room was good in a good location but staff were not that attentive. We were also double charged for the room which took a week or 2 to sort out our.
G. L.
Great place to stay. The rooms are basic, and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
M. W.
Great location, with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and of a decent size for the price. Would definitely stay again!
S. T.
Nice location. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. No huge deposit on arrival. Simple place to rest your head
R. M.
Great customer service and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast option however a few more veggie options would be nice and not great for vegans.
J. B.
Fantastic place. Cheap but great room. Quiet. Nice area. Get there by Emirates Air Line if you can. Wonderful end to a day out.
A.
Hotel and staff were excellent however our rooms were locked without warning as Ibis felt payment had not been received despite them having our valid corporate credit card details.
D. A.
Decent travel hotel. 20 minutes away from the airport. Friendly staff & quick check-in. There was a lot of noise due to the proximity of the airport.
L. B.
Loved our stay. Gorgeous room. Amazing friendly staff. Will defiantely stay again. Thank you
M. X.
Nice and clean. Rooms are small and windows are small too..
A bit far away from the city but perfect for Excel
L. L.
Awesome stay, staff were welcoming and super close to the ExCel, TV was swapped to a larger TV as we had a console hooked up to it, without having to ask...
G. W.
Great service from all the staff. The rooms are very nice and the hotel is in a good area. Will stay again.
S. d. L.
Noisy unfortunately one of the two nights we stayed but great otherwise, friendly staff only too happy to help. Quite close to the 02, super handy.
T. c. n. t. c.
Very conveniently located for the Excel centre , O2 arena, Emirates cable car and DLR connections to central London. Rooms are clean, and comfortable as always from the IBIS brand. Staff were a tad 'mechanical'.
G. J. V.
Nice hotel and lovely staff. The breakfast was ok. The room was nice with comfortably beds
M. N.
I stayed at the ibis excel while attending a conference at london excel. Good location as it is right in front of the entrance of the excel. Comfortable and clean rooms. Overall it is ok.
C. G.
The rooms are nice and air-conditioned, but with no fridge. It is also a short walk to the DLR and the Elizabeth Line (when opened in late 2018).
P. S.
Ready good stay, modern hotel and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and i would visit again.
T. E.
Classical Ibis standard toilet, which I do not like, feels like a toilet in a caravan.
Breakfast was so so, but works
But the place was fresh, well cleaned, good service by personnel
S. d.
Clean, bed always made, loved the lotus biscuits left. Staff are always ready to please with a smile on your their face.
В. Г.
Great place for the price. Clean sheets and room. Staff is friendly. Room was quiet. Breakfast was Ok.
L. B.
Located close to the excel centre and O2/Emirates cable right on the river. Fantastic views, great food and soundproof rooms so no early wake up from London city airport.
T. H.
Stayed her multiply times over the year and was always lovely the only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars the last stays is no matter how many times I asked I wasn't given a picture of Ron Pearlman on my bed side table well that all changed today when I walked into the room and on my table was Ron Pearlman so well done ibis you have more then earned the 5th star from me
g. d.
Low cost business type hotel. Clean. Small room but enough for business travel. Nice view of the old docks.
J. S.
ExCeL is a huge exhibition hall.
T. S.
good location for the O2, Emirates cable car, Docklands... nice rooms with dirty windows and good views if facing victoria dock, very good breakfast, nice & obliging staff
S. F.
Pleasant staff, nice room, clean and quiet. Good night's sleep. Not sure I like the booking in via staff members mobile experience.
F. D.
Everything was ok until I asked for an adapter. They could not lend me one. only for sale. One day before, Ibis Kensington provided me without cost... Besides that, it was ok.
T. K.
Stayed here for three nights in August for an event at excel , the room was very comfortable , staff were friendly , breakfast was good quality , will be returning
M. W.
Stayed here for the motor show and the room was very relaxing after a long day and I slept like a baby, very comfy bed.
A. B.
You know what you are getting - it's not going to be luxury. I paid less than £100/night and for that it was somewhere comfortable to sleep and shower. No complaints.
G. F.
Perfect for visiting the exhibition centre, but also if you are stopping over after working on the right side of town. I had meetings near Bank and getting back to hotel late (9pm ish) couldn't have been easier.
P. H.
Nice and clean hotel, you get what you pay.
I have stayed here for 4 times and never had a bad experience.
You can take easily the DLR to London City
M. C.
Good hotel but continual issues with keycards and reception area isn't very professional. Staff were helpful when needed but could be better
M. U.
Very nice and clean, a little confusing at the front desk in the morning, it was a busy on the ground floor with people eating breakfast and there wasn't anyone to great a guide me I had to wait around other then that fabulous
L.
Good, everything we needed, nothing more nothing less, value for money compared to other London hotels
air con good, beds very comfortable, breakfast good, restaurant good in the evening, very good if you are at the excel or 02,not 5 star but not 5 star money, good value for money,Novatel and Ibis connected together by car park so same really.
j. d.
room was nice and clean, bed and pillows were lovely and comfy the shower was fast hot and refreshing, the thing that let the hotel down was the cleaner, we were left only one toilet roll on the first day, no teabags, plastic cups were removed the next morning and not replaced and the shower gel in the shower was empty the whole time we were there, this did let the hotel down slightly as the room ect was really nice.
B. A.
A budget hotel with nice staff. the lift to the rooms is always busy, if you are getting out allow for up to 5 mins before you can use the lift.
P. E.
Impressed by good standard of hotel, good breakfast and (generally) attentive and friendly staff...but...stay severely marred by an Ibis' organizational defect. Disappointed.
A. I. Z.
Clean place. Good coffee but quite expensive even for London. Near the DLR station and well connected with the central London.
D. A.
Very pleasant and comfortable. Lovely staff. Decent breakfast and all very clean.
C. M.
Restaurant was shocking. Late food, cold by the time they served it. Got the order wrong. Hotel was nice enough. Friendly staff.
G. P.
Good stay, reasonable price, good service. Had some difficulty in locating the hotel as they had another ibis in the locality.
S. R.
Place to stay if you attending events in the excel London exhibition area. Breakfast is ok with limited offering.
M. H.
Very clean room and good service, just a little away from Central London, but near the Emirates sky like so definitely take that!
P. C.
Perfectly adequate though I'm not sure how they can justify £7 for a beer at the bar when ibis Canning Town is £5.
R. M.
Staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and good value for money.
R. G.
Very nice for the low price! Clean and comfortable room, good service and a reasonably-priced hotel bar.
A. M. L. E.
I went to an event at the London ExCel. The hotel is very close. The staff are well trained. The room is clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money.
M. E.
What you'd expect from a budget hotel. Clean and comfy with a bathroom that seems to be moulded from a single piece of plastic.
A. O.
Had a great room at the back. Overlooked the water. Breakfast good. DLR (rail) close by. Convenience store just over the road. A little basic but good.
P. A.
Good hotel next to Excel (2 mins by foot) . Perfect for attending a conference. However there's not so many restaurants around so you will have to go in the city for that.
Z. ..
Stayed with you while attending the comic con event at the excel centre, rooms were comfy and well maintained, food options were lacking though
A. P.
Very Comfy beds. Clean and tidy. Good selection for breakfast and very warm welcoming staff

T. W.
Very cozy and comfortable beds nice place to stay unfortunately over slept for breakfast
P. B.
Company paid trip so unsure of the costs, the rooms are basic but very clean, good choice if you are going to an excel event
P. K.
Not a very good experience. Receptionist could not speak English, no iron in the room, drunk contractors in the bar and restaurant, weird bathroom (very slippery surface)
D. P.
Good clean hotel at a good price. Could of been 5 star with better soundproofing from planes taking off at nearby airport.
M. e.
An okay business hotel, nothing wrong, but has the slowest elevators in London, add 10min to any trip from and to your room, stairs are faster
l.
Very clean and friendly staff, room was a good size, maybe a bit small but that would be picking at straws!
L. C.
Well appointed rooms, great staff interactions, and a nice view of the Thames. The proximity is to Excel makes it plenty worth the cost.
J. W.
Perfect. Friendly staff. Great price. Great stay. Near to cable car for those that want it.
A. C.
Good location for what we needed. The room was comfortable . Would book again for this hotel.
D. P.

E. D.
Fantastic area and clean basic room perfect for my overnight stay and walking distance from London City Airport

S. L.

M. B. (. B.
Staff were great, the room reminded me of being in a caravan, the food was rubbish. Handy for getting to the Excel though.
F. B.
Very useful to stay at the hotel for attending events or conferences at the London Excel. Rooms are clean and service is friendly.
E. F.
Actually a really lovely hotel. Really nice staff. Not much close by though.
S. J.
You get what you expect from an ibis. Basic rooms that are clean and quiet.
C. I.
It was very well located for the 3 day convention at Excel and the hotel was clean and cheerful. I will stay here again.
B. T.
The location is close to the ExCel centre on Docklands which means that it can get busy when people are attending a show however the low price per night means that this is not an issue. We chose it as we drove into London and it is close to the ring road and has parking available at the Novotel Hotel next door. The DLR is also a 5 minute walk away and allows travel into central London in about 35-40 minutes.
There are also several restaurants close by and a cafe if you do not want to pay for breakfast in the hotel.
J. B.
Pleasurable experience, the staff made just the right amount of effort. Was only visiting for a short period, I'm sure it's a limited experience, but a good one nonetheless!
P. S.
Decent hotel. Nice clean rooms, pretty basic but still decent.
N. G.
The hotel is great. The prices are overratw though because is next to London Excel exhibition center.

G. K.
Great hotel. Functional, but smart. Had a great night's sleep.
S. C.
I have stayed here multiple times for work, nicely located for public transportation and the local convention centre. The only problem I have with this place is that it is not close to town.
M. T.

Very clean and fast reception, good view of docks. Somewhat noisy under flight path
w. f.
Had a great stay @: Ibis Excel. Raman and his team worked tirelessly to ensure every guest had a great stay.
A. S.
Clean and tidy hotel, car park can be awkward depending ding on size of vehicle, next door hotel is much nicer which you realise when you have to go there to pay for your parking.
F. B.
The hotel was very well located for the DLR line into into London. Its next to Excel. There are restaurants nearby to enjoy.
