Never stayed somewhere that smells so nice! Cool and modern venue in the heart of Dalston. The location means you have plenty on your doorstep and good transport links. The apartments are peaceful not sure what magic they did to make sure you hear nothing of whats going on outside, which in Hackney is always something 😊 The reception team are friendly and welcoming and helpful. Good for short and long term stays and if you want a little discount go via bookings.com or talk to the team who do deals for longer stays.

Spent a couple of nights here and we were very impressed with our stay! The staff at the front desk were very welcoming, our room was spotless and had a very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely be back :)

A delightful experience, the Locke has entirely nailed the touch-points of a stellar and inspiring stay.
Super nice to be a guest here, loved every part and found the hotel team really cool and friendly. Always accommodating.
Bravo! Really a bright light over Dalston.

I stayed at Kingsland Locke for 3 months. I really love my time here. Girls at the reception are warm-hearted and helpful. They listened to me when I experienced something unlucky and they said a lot of cheerful and warm things to me. They were like my family at KL. Even after I moved out, they still helped me a lot. I will miss them.
The location of KL is also amazing. You will find it's so convenient living at KL.They got almost everything around. (M&S, fast food, restaurants, hair salons, pubs, 🏳️🌈 bar, boots etc.) There is a bus station just outside and you can take 4-min walk to a train station.
Inside KL, there are nice bars and a restaurant on LG floor. You will also need to explore those activities at KL too. ;)

We had a wonderful stay at the Dalston Locke. Check in was easy / the reception team was very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious which came with a dining table, a sofa and an extremely comfortable king-size bed. Surprisingly quiet at night with effective windows!

I just love staying at Locke hotels! Staff were all incredibly friendly and able to assist with any issues, room was very spacious. Overall great vibe and the coworking space/bar/cafe on the ground floor is not to be missed!

Really modern contemporary designed place and rooms with everything you want for one night or a month. Very well equipped and very comfy bed and huge telly. If you want a place to stay in the Dalston/Hackney area then this would be hard to beat!

This is by far the best Locke Apartments I have stayed at. I stayed at the apartments for 2 months and experienced 4 different rooms! Highly recommend the Loft Room. I was staying here for work and relocation purposes and it was a challenging time, however the staff made it such a better experience and the kindness Andreas and Mel were able to afford was really heartwarming.
The apartment rooms themselves were so well equipped and beautifully designed it really felt like a home away from home.
Housekeeping were attentive and friendly from the interactions I had with them throughout the day.
Across the board staff at Locke were pleasant and helpful 24/7 whether it be to book a gym session or for toilet roll!!!
Great central location, good food spots and really peaceful coworking area.
Definitely recommend, as I have done to so many friends and family. Would love to return as this was my second time visiting!

I stayed in the apartment-hotel for a little over 2 months. My stay went wonderfully well from start to finish. The studios are very clean, very well equipped and above all very accessible. There are many services available such as a restaurant, a bar, a laundry and a gym and all the services are very functional. I would like to point out that the staff are available, accommodating and very welcoming, especially Andrés, thank you very much for everything.
I 200% recommend this apartment-hotel !

I discovered Locke Living about 6 months ago, and had several really great stays at Bermonds Locke over the winter months. I was so pleased with my stays at Bermonds Locke, I decided to try out the new site in Dalston. Unfortunately, I haven't enjoyed those stays as much. On my first stay, the room was not properly equipped... there were no coat hangers, no iron/ironing board, no movable chairs so that we could sit at the table to eat, only a sofa type chair fixed to the wall(?) and no bin - I actually had to go to reception and ask for one! On my second stay, I booked a 'loft studio', it looked so great in the photos, but it was tiny! I liked the elevated bed, but the room felt a bit claustrophobic and really wasn't spacious enough for 2 people/a couple. The aesthetics/design of the hotel are gorgeous, the location is brilliant, and the staff are absolutely lovely, but I don't think I would return based on my last 2 stays. If you can stretch to a more expensive room, you may fare well, but for me the 'loft studios' are just not worth the money.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London. We have personally got the chance to stay at this hotel 3 times and it got better every time we stayed. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The design is unique which gives the hotel a very moder look. All the necessities for kitchen were provided which gave us the chance to prepare a really romantic dinner. A very honorable mention to the cleaners for keeping the rooms spotless.

The staff is great and very helpful! The room amenities are wonderful and the location is perfect.
However, I have to point out that if you’re looking at studios, it’s not possible to work from them since the table is small and round and has a sofa only no chair.
What is also a huge drawback - inability to open the window. Relying on air conditioning during the night is not the most pleasant experience. Plus, have to say that without a window in the room itself, the bathroom starts smelling horribly of dump and mold that can not be got ridden of.
So it’s a very mixed felling here.

Fantastic place to stay for a few months - full kitchen lovely bathroom in each room, great gym and guest laundry. Super friendly staff and beautiful spaces to sit and work, eat and relax. Can’t speak highly enough of Kingsland Locke! Lots of amazing cafes really close by as well.

Everything was outstanding. The room has all the amenities you need and more, including a full kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, smart tv, iron and iron board, safe just to name a few. It is really one of the best equipped places we have stayed at and we also appreciated the small details such as the welcome treats, quality coffee, amazing toiletries.
It is comfortable for both a short and a long stay in my opinion. Special thanks to Andres, who was so kind from the beginning and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommended. (We will probably be back!)

Sleek minimalist vibes. Cool staff. Amazing gym. Very clean and safe. Wicked location with a dangerously convenient health food store next door! Banging soundproofing. Everything feels new and clean and slick. Lighting is super sexy. This is a really exceptional place to stay... So exceptional in fact that I extended my weeklong stay to a couple of months!

The interior is cool and clean. Loved staying here, even though I live near Dalston it was such a treat to stay away from home for a night. Would definitely go back. Also cocktails are yummy!

Stayed here for a month. Really nice quirky hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was just what I needed and gym was good too. Would 100% recommend staying here and I will be back.

Stayed here for a mini break with the bf....It's location is great on Kingsland Road so you can really explore what Dalston has to offer.
Really vibesy hotel with really friendly staff and cute features. The room has a great kitchen and the hotel has a lovely lobby area.
We were really well looked after so am definitely going to hurry back super soon!

I came last year before lockdown and had such an amazing stay! The hotel and interior is so beautiful and the room was really spacious. I can't wait for things to get back to normal as think it will be really fun , the bar area looked so fun and the restaurant downstairs was AMAZING. Rach and Benny at the front desk make me feel so welcome and gave me great local advice- I'll be back for sure!!!

Incredible value for a hotel right bang in the heart of Dalston with everything it has to offer in the neighbourhood. Bar and restaurant are great and the staff are super helpful if you want to explore further (was directed to an amazing local bakery for breakfast one morning) and a stones throw from the station to Shoreditch/City but in a much more interesting location. Will 100% return.

Second stay at kingsland Locke, didn’t disappoint super friendly staff and love the fully equipped kitchen. I was allocated a ground floor room which I wasn’t happy at first but it had high ceilings which I actually preferred to my previous room on a higher floor.

The hotel is lovely and the room was great. It had everything I needed. The staff was amazing! Melissa checked me in and was so helpful. She always had a smile on her face which was very warming !!

Locke opening up in Dalston has been the best thing in 2020. Me and my fiancé’s stay last night has been nothing less than extraordinary, we both love the rooms so cosy and warm. Great service and amazing design making you feel special.

We received great service from Rachel at check in however we’re underwhelmed overall. Rooms were very small and the services were quite inadequate and not very hospitable (eg extra charge for a 2pm check in!). We’ve stayed at other Locke hotels which were much better.

Hotel with bier halle (german kraft lager brewed on site) und cafe (french breakfast). Modern cozy rooms: white tiles, pink carpets. Free laundry and little gym with rowing machine. Rooftop with 270 degree view south, south east.

I spent 5 night in this hotel. Amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and in a very good location. The only downfall is parking. Will definitely stay here again.
