S.Absolutely fantastic experience. Had 2 rooms for 13 nights each and couldn't have asked for anything better. The rooms were clean with all the amenities, the beds were comfortable, the water was hot, the hotel staff was wonderful and breakfast was included in the price of the room. Oh, and I forgot to mention the location, snuggled nicely between Paddington (tube and Heathrow Express) and Kensington Park (just love feeding the birds) and an easy walk to each.
I. L.Perfect base to explore the city. Very close to Lancaster Gate and Paddington tube stations. Renovated rooms, very comfortable. Continental breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff, makes you feel at home.

So if you're planning a stay here, dont think twice. Its a good place with great service.

R.For 26 days we were at the Lancaster Hall Hotel and I want to tell you that there are the nicest staff in the world who keeps the hotel constantly clean, the beds are very comfortable and the cold breakfast is very satisfying. But the main reason this hotel gets me five stars is the staff. From the principal, through the receptionists, the security guards and the cleaners. One by one the day was pleasant to us and gave courteous, efficient and pleasant service. Thanks when I'm in London again I'll only sleep here.
N. D.Our 3 day stay was comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms clean. Receptionists friendly and polite. The room has no fridge and no AC. The weather was cool luckily. Windows open slightly not fully. Take your shampoo and tissue box. There are toilet rolls.
They have a kettle, coffee, milk and sugar area.
For people who are senstive to noise , you need to specifically ask for quiet rooms. For us it was not a problem..
Excellent location close to restaurants, cafes, pharmacy..
They have a storage for your bags if needed. 24 hour reception.
R. T.I have stayed here two times in the last couple of months and on both occasions found it to be excellent. Extremely clean and comfortable. While the rooms may be small the low price more than compensates. Incredible value. All of the staff I met went above and beyond to help; Sebastian on the front desk could not have been more helpful.
j. a.It's a basic hotel, perfect if you just want to sleep and it's clean. I wouldn't say it's noisy but at night you can hear some noises like water running..it's not cosy, it's functional. Nice stuff and decent breakfast.

I walked in here to get info and a reservation… Jessica at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The rooms are actually quite nice and clean. P. B.This hotel has a perfect position, just next to subway, so you can reach everything in London, or you can walk through Hyde Park, kindly staff and clean room. You can prepare english tea or coffee in the room. Just bed was not good for me, but other was ok.
G. M.LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! That is the highlight of the hotel. Hotel as such is old and not very fancy. The heating system in the room did not work for the first 4 days and only when I told them the 5th day was it turned on. I believe they did not even realize it was off. Days were not too cold anyway so it was manageable.
BREAKFAST- Their croissants are THE BEST! Otherwise it is the same items every day with no table service. Everything including tea etc. has to be picked up from the counter.
ROOMS- I was a single person staying for 10 nights but I did not get a double bed. Instead it was 2 single beds that could not be joined so the sleep was just OK. Did not have enough space to sleep lavishly since it was a single bed.
NO IRON in the room- Got to pay a 10 pound deposit to get it. (While checking out, the receptionist (a tall gentleman) asked me twice if I was sure I paid it to get the Iron) It is part of their policy so I am not sure why the question was asked to me as if I would have gotten it otherwise. It is their job to keep a note of who paid what when and not ask the customer as if hinting we could be lying. That is the only thing that turned me off in my ten days of stay there.
Overall, it is a decent experience- dont expect much. what you are paying is for the location! 2 minute walk to Kensington Gardens and 5 minute walk to Paddington Station.
N.Me and my girlfriend spent a total of 3 nights in the Lancaster Hall hotel and it was great. Decent location to the London Underground (about a 5 minute walk) which takes you to anywhere you want to go. Staff was friendly and polite and check in and check out was as painless as could be. Room was a decent size for the amount we paid and was very clean. Bed I found was a bit hard and noise could be a tiny issue at night hearing people coming and going to there rooms and doors slamming. Tv was modern but the kettle and hairdryer looked very dated and do need updating and although I didn’t drink from the kettle my girlfriend did and said it was ok but not great. Overall it’s a decent hotel and will deffo be staying there when staying overnight in London from now on.

C. M.I have stayed here many, many times, and I really like it. Great value for money. Those who complain that the rooms are small clearly have no realistic conception of average hotel room size in London: the rooms in this hotel are, if anything, above average size for a London hotel. I have always appreciated the very hot water in this hotel (as opposed to the tepid temperatures in many hotels worldwide), as well as the “no frills” approach (no redundant cosmetic samples for guests to make off with in this establishment). This hotel was originally recommended to me by a German friend, and is consistently frequented by German travelers, who are exacting when it comes to vacation accommodations. North American travelers may well find the hotel a little too rough-and-ready (i.e., no, sorry, we cannot upgrade you to a better room), but their views should not be taken as representative.
J. D.What a lovely hotel! It has everything you could want. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, genuinely friendly staff who are very welcoming, and an outstanding and generous breakfast. And very affordable! I can't recommend it enough! Why would you want to stay anywhere else?
C. S.Lancaster Hall is a simple hotel with basic accommodations and a fantastic location. The staff are kind and the cleanliness of the premises is exceptional. The breakfast buffet is comprised of all varieties of breads, meats, cheeses with hard boiled brown eggs, fruit juices, hot coffee and tea and a couple of basic cereals. Not exotic but is sufficient to start your day for adventure in the city. Rooms are sufficiently sized with a full bathroom. I did not feel cramped but there is not much space to frolic. Be aware, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. You have to leave your windows open and turn on the small oscillating fan to move the air around. I would stay here again with no 2nd thought.
A. K.If you like luxury, you won't like this hotel, but I did! It was clean and simply furnished. No frills--bring your own toiletries. But the staff was very kind and helpful. The location was fantastic. There is a great pub down the street, The Mitre, and we felt at home. The breakfast is plentiful, but we got tired of eating the same thing for one week (there was no variety). I will definitely stay there again.

I was shocked walking in my room seeing how basic it was but when I woke up after my first night I had decided I LOVED this place.

N. D.It’s basic, no frills accommodation at a realistic price. The location is outstanding, especially it’s proximity to Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens. 2 tube stations within a few minutes walk, and plenty of life in the area to not mind walking back of an evening. Staying in a room at the front was somewhat noisy at times due to the road, and yes as other reviewers point out the decor is somewhat dated and the rooms/bathrooms are looking a little tired, but given the hotels background and what you’re charged for staying here we have absolutely no complaints. The staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast was lovely and offered a good choice: numerous breads & spreads, meats, sliced & soft cheeses, boiled eggs (cold buffet so hard boiled only), fruit, cereals, yoghurts, juices, teas & coffee. Without doubt we will stay again.
A. G.The hotel is within short walking distance of Hyde Park and several restaurants. The room was a reasonable size, two beds, a bedside table in the middle, and room service was provided every day. They also provided tea and biscuits every day, two mugs, some sugar and milk. Delicious! Breakfast was served in the mornings.

A. B.If you are planning a trip to London then please consider the Lancaster. While the rooms and beds are small it is in a great location. A short walk to the Big Bus pick up as well as local restaurants makes it ideal. Buckingham Palace is close by. Breakfast on the AM is also great. Small bar is cozy so when you get back from a day of sight seeing enjoy a drink. Front desk people will welcome you and you will enjoy.
S.The location is very good. It's near lancaster gate underground station so easy to get to places in London.It's also near Paddington station which made it easier for us with our luggage.Clean hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. The free continental breakfast is bonus.

Excellent location close to the Lancaster Gate Underground, Hyde Park, Kensington Garden & Palace, V&A Museum even the Natural History Museum was within walking distance (long walk). Our room was 2 single beds with bathtub if you wanted a soak after a long day of sightseeing in London. Breakfast was available in hotel. In room safe available. Small wall mounted TV with plenty of selection. Telephone;(we didn’t use). I’m planning on staying there again in the future.

Sehr schönes Hotel und super Lage. Bis zur nächsten u Bahn Stadion sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Hotel ist sehr süß und reicht vollkommen aus. Personal sehr freundlich es ist sauber und das Frühstück reicht auch aus.

European outlet and English sockets available. Television by the bed. We had a bathroom with bath (shower head with a good jet), a toilet and sink. However, poor extraction in the bathroom. The bathroom door really needs to be closed every time, because otherwise the walls in the hotel room will be covered with water drops. Cleaning is good, the breakfast too. Friendly, helpful staff. Bus and metro can be reached within 6 minutes. Hydepark fifteen minutes walk. Many eateries and the neighborhood and small shops. Sights can be easily reached via metro and bus.

Niet duur. Kan renovatie gebruiken. Wel nette kamers, redelijke bedden. Voldoende ruimte tenzij je echt veel op de kamer zit. Waterkoker en thee aanwezig op de kamer. Europees stopcontact en Engelse stopcontacten aanwezig. Televisie bij het bed. Wij hadden een badkamer met bad ( douchekop aanwezig met goede straal), een wc en wastafel. Wel slechte afzuiging op badkamer. De badkamerdeur moet echt iedere keer worden dichtgedaan omdat anders de muren in de hotelkamer bedekt raken met waterdruppels. Schoonmaak is goed, het ontbijt ook. Vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel. Bus en metro binnen 6 minuten te bereiken. Hydepark kwartiertje lopen. Veel eettentjes en de buurt en kleine winkeltjes. Via metro en bus zijn bezienswaardigheden goed te bereiken.

Gutes Mittelklasse Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Lage ist zentral und für eine Städtetrip zu empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Lediglich das Frühstück fand ich persönlich langweilig. Ich hatte mir ein wenig mehr "englisch" gewünscht.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hydeparks. Es ist nur ein kurzer Fußweg zur nächsten U-Bahn Station. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber sauber.
Das Frühstück war gut mit reichlich Auswahl.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Einen Stern weniger gibt es nur, weil die Tür zu unserem Bad verzogen war und jedes Mal laut gekracht hat, wenn man sie öffnete.
Wir waren zu dritt im Zimmer und durch die laute Tür wurden immer alle wach, wenn man nachts zur Toilette ging.

Sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis, ich bin Überrascht über den guten Service und das Recht nette Ambiente in der Lobby und im Eingangsbereich. Auch die Zimmer sind für “Britischen“ Standard sehr gut.
