Lovely staff and great location. Four stars only because of lighting. Despite having what feels like dozens of light options in the room, I could never seem to get it bright. I'll stay here again when I return.

Really great apartment hotel. I stayed in a studio room for 4 days over NYE and I was very impressed. The location is absolutely perfect with easy transport to almost anywhere in London within a 10 minute walk. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed along with an excellent shower. The facilities in the building are also top notch with free washer/dryers downstairs, a gym and plenty of work spaces. Check-in/out was also a breeze.

Great location & service. I was also impressed with the room having the space to 'lounge' around & the room specific wifi.
I had an inner room though, so no window. I think that was because of the noisy construction nearby, so great they proactively moved me.
I didn't get to use the fridge or oven, but love that they were there for longer stays.
Special shout out to the staff. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and wanting to keep me happy.
Late check out is a great bonus and the public area downstairs looks perfect for working from a laptop - I'll be checking that out next time.

Amir arrived to our home promptly as scheduled. My father and I were impressed with his professionalism. He was extremely patient. He had to work behind another technician's incomplete job.Wow, Amazing Air and heating system service.

Very well presented rooms and a good location. However building work at next door building made our room very noisy from early morning.

We had a beautiful Valentine’s Day stay at Locke! The night staff were so polite and friendly and our room was perfect. We will definitely stay here again!

In many ways this was a great place, the price was good for Central London, the staff were friendly, it was very accessible for Gatwick, ( 10 minutes from Blackfriars Station) close to tube stations, half an hours walk to Covent Gardens, you get the idea, the apartment was well appointed, clean, the wifi was brilliant and the interactive TV was a bonus, it was small but this was no drawback. Whilst the lighting in the apartment was adequate, for anybody wishing to do makeup, etc there was nowhere with suitable lighting available. The biggest drawback was the building site right next door, which started work at 8.00 and went on til 6.00. Very noisy, we were told that this was supposed to be finished by June. If that is the case then I would have no hesitation in giving this establishment 5 stars and rave reviews with hardly any reservations. We were up and about by 8 any way and generally not back until after 6 on most days so building did not affect us really. Of course I should have mentioned, which I forgot at the time of writing the review, that we were offered a change of room by the staff on arrival if the disturbance was too much.

Amazing hotel in an unbelievable location. Right on the thames overlooking the wobbly bridge and Tate modern. Amazing value for the location. Rooms are really stylish and comfortable. Staff are fantastic - especially Jo who was really welcoming and managed to get us a river view room. Looking forward to our next stay!

Excellent hotel - the River Suite had an amazing view of the river, Millennium Bridge and Tate Modern! Could also see the dome of the St Paul's. Great bathroom, super comfy bed too. Living room/kitchen area was also nice. My room didn't have a desk to do work but there is actually a (slightly dimly-lit) co-working space downstairs.

I stayed at Locke Broken Wharf for a few months while working from London and despite all those weeks have no complaints. The Locke Studio is an excellent size for longer stays, cosy but not small. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and after getting the hang of working everything was able to make full meals with ease. The bedroom area is separated from the living space which is great as you don’t feel like you’re living from your bed. Maid service was always on time and accommodating around meeting schedules, likewise with any engineering work which the front desk give plenty notice about and are again extremely accommodating. The ground floor is also fantastic- it was lovely to always see the coworking space so busy and is great for a change of scenery. The cafe staff are always so attentive and friendly and I’ve loved having quick chats with them over the weeks. Likewise with the front desk staff, who were always keen to say hello and welcome you back with a smile. The gym is extremely well equipped, tidy, and very modern. The location is also fantastic. Supermarkets and tube stations within a 10 minute walk made living so easy. It can be noisy at night, but that’s expected from living in the middle of a city! I would absolutely stay here again on business, but also for leisure.

I stayed at Locke at broken wharf from January to June. It was fascinating experience. I love to see the fantastic view of the Thames from windows. At night it was completely dark in room so I could sleep really well. The room is big enough and very comfortable. Staff are nice and helpful too.

We booked and stayed in a river suite (room 404) for about a month and it was very nice. Only negative thing is, our first night experience was disappointing. We were checked into room 601. That room is nothing like the one we stayed for the rest of our trip. Windows cannot be opened, ceiling is too low and river view is very limited. As we would stay for a month we asked for a room change and Nate helped us. From then on our stay experience was very good.
M. W.
My partner and I stayed here for his birthday and Locke were kind enough to set up lovely balloons write a card for us. Which was a warming touch. Our city studio was a little smaller than expected and the TV positioning was slightly off due to the pillars in the room but other than that we had an amazing stay! Great location, on the river and opposite Tate modern and the Shakespeare Globe. Staff were super friendly, even had a music event on one night! Will definitely be back.
N. G.
We throughly enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we stepped in, till check out, the staff were nothing but friendly and accommodating! A special thanks to Nate for being so kind and going the extra mile to keep a smile on our face! The room was beautiful and was stocked perfectly! It was everything we needed, thanks again!

The room was nice an comfortable but don’t be fooled by the pictures of the river views. We paid the same amount as a room advertised with a river view and were given a box room with a window that didn’t open, looking at a wall that was about 30cm away from the window. Ended up paying £90 for an upgrade for a room with a view of the building site next door and a partial view of the river, if you leaned far enough. Woken up by building work at 7:30/8:00am. Booked the room for a 30th birthday so was quite disappointed overall. If we weren’t going to get a river view that’s fine, but I would have liked to have been notified before hand as I asked for a view of the tate twice during the booking process.
M. S.
Overall a nice stay in the micro studio! The place has a cool aesthetic and the bed / bathroom were really cool and felt fancy. I would rate this 3.5 stars if I could though - even though our room was £220 for the night, it didn’t have a view, only a forested blurry window 🥲 this was kind of claustrophobic… Also, the smart TV was huge, but we had to watch stuff on our iPad because the TV didn’t allow screen mirroring with Netflix and our TV didn’t have the Netflix app or have anyway to install it. We even tried to login on the internet to watch it but it wouldn’t even play there 😭 I wish we’d known this before because we had certain stuff we wanted to watch and probably would have gone elsewhere … glad I tried it once though!

We enjoyed three fantastic nights here. The location couldn’t be better right next to the millennium bridge. We had the Locke Studio and it was a beautiful space. Staff super too. We’ll be back.

A bit darkish atmosphere (lightning), but other than that a great way to stay in London. Loved the room and the personel was nice, too.
M.
A beautiful hotel in a convenient location, just across the river from South Bank and minutes walk from Mansion House, St.Paul and about 15 minutes walk from Bank. Lovely premises with lovely staff. The view from my room wasn’t great and their website doesn’t have enough pictures to show how nice the hotel is for the price and location. They have a coffee shop and wine bar on site and the room includes all the essentials as well as some extra comforts like a yoga mat, cooling equipment (if you have a studio) etc. Had a lovely stay and would definitely return
V. N.
Very lovely staff, each floor had a lovely smell and the room we had was very spacious and overlooked the river.
L. A.
Really great hotel. The staff were brilliant. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating ❤️

This is a hidden gem. Lovely little apartments, much higher spec than a budget hotel room, and yet the same price. We had a kitchenette, sitting area as well as the usual bedroom and bathroom arrangements. Downstairs a nice cafe area with very few other people around, and a nice range of food and drink. Helpful friendly staff and a great central location too!
J. N.
Excellent hotel, very well equipped "city suite", with small kitchen/dining area within the room. Beautifully decorated and finished. Very accomodating and friendly staff. Stayed just for one night but would have been perfect for a longer stay. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing stay, just about the nicest place I have stayed in London. From the moment I checked in, all the staff at the reception were superb. Every request was answered with a smile and a prompt service. The room was perfect with an amazing view of the River Thames, well designed with all the modern facilities and a comfy bed.
The hotel was an excellent find - great location, relaxing ambience and lovely customer service. The hotel has been tastefully completed and with great lobby area with ample of space to relax or work.
I will definitely be back for any future stays in London!!!
M. K.
Well designed and in a great location.
This is the third Locke hotel I’ve stayed at. I’ve previously stayed at Whitworth Locke and Leman Locke. We stayed here for 4 nights.
Upon arrival the staff were friendly and check in was quick.
Our room was in the 6th view and had good views of you were locking the right way.
We stayed in a city studio room. It was smaller than the rooms I’d stayed in, in the other Locke hotels. However, still quite spacious in comparison to your usual European hotel room.
Our room had a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and sink. We did not have a dishwasher or washing machine. However, the communal washing machines and tumble dryers were free to use for guests and the hotel provided washing tablets.
The bed was comfy and we both slept well.
Like the other Locke’s our room had a cool sofa. Great for those all important pics for the gram.
Also, the Apple TV was great for streaming and I also made use of it to do some workouts (a yoga mat was provided in the room).
I didn’t use the communal area downstairs but it looked nice.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from mansion house station (although the quickest routes to the hotel from the station involve a lot of stairs and would not be suitable for those with impaired mobility - as they are quite heavy on the stairs).
The only negatives in my opinion were:
1. The bathroom sink - was difficult to use for anything other than hand washing. It was too small for face washing or shaving and you would mess up the floor.
2. The gym. The equipment in the gym was non-existent. What kind of gym does not have a treadmill at the bare minimum.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. And I look forward to visiting more Locke hotels.

This is our home whenever we are in London. The staff are so polite and the service is excellent. The manager and all the employees go out of their way to make sure every need of the guests are met. They would even give you tips on where to go for food and site seeing. The manager makes sure that you'll always feel at home. I love their simple gestures to make you feel welcome. Will be staying here again definitely. Our home away from home.

Interesting accomodation. Quite modern rooms, the bathroom is good. Shower is very good but the sink let's it down, it's small and the mirror gets in the way of using it, at least for me. The bed was comfortable but the bedding made me too hot and the a/c was not the best. No window to open, but that's not a big thing. Kitchen was well equipped, microwave, sink, fridge/freezer and hob. The room was compact but the location makes up for that. I'd stay here again for sure

I had a fantastic experience at Locke! Their services totally exceeded expectations. Despite limited services allowed to operate during the lockdown (during which we lodged), we had an amazing experience with the staff who were so friendly and helpful including the Manager/host Mr. Jhon. They pulled the sweetest surprise on us on the day of our wedding ceremony when we came back from the ceremony to meet balloons, a card and treats (I only told them of the wedding that morning!). What can I say, I’ll definitely return and I recommend them totally!

I was impressed how friendly and helpful the general manager (Rob) was. Very hands on in solving my issue - didn't excpect that from a manager. Room (515) was simple but quality. We had an issue with the room temperature and they sorted it in no time. I was even spoken to, to make sure I was happy. Great customer service. We will stay here again and I would highly recommend them. Apart from the lack of food for breakfast, I can never fault this hotel.

Had such a lovely time!
The rooms are great, and every member of staff was so kind and helpful! Will definitely be coming back soon! 10/10
Thanks so much! :)

Great views, walk and environment around the sound bank. Easy to spend an evening around the around. Try walking up the side of the bank

Stylish Riverside venue with wonderful few and tasteful interior design choices. Expensive, however.

Recently spent a long Weekend here and really enjoyed it. Great Design & lovely Staff, thanks everyone. Would have happily given 5 Stars, but the Bedlinen feels uncomfortable and the Sink in the Bathroom is very badly placed. Will definitely book here again
R. L.
Not somewhere I would choose to stay again, our room had a window that was locked and smoked out so no light or air could get in, if your staying by the Thames it would be nice to be able to see it from your room.
D. M.
Rooms are well equipped with quality appliances in the kitchenette, which is a great addition to any room. The staff has been warm and welcoming on all occasions and willing to do anything to make a stay enjoyable. The reasonable price makes this a real find in London.
M. J.
Amazing place, perfect atmosphere; room is great as well as the spacious bathroom. Great and very friendly reception people. I’d definitely will be visiting again and again. Thank you
U. H.
Rarely have i had a check in as welcoming or accommodating (no pun intended). Rob (I hope I remembered correctly!) and Kathryn were both especially helpful and made the entire experience a step above the usual process driven affair. Their positive and customer focused personality are a credit to Locke as a business and made the place itself a pleasure to stay in and work in during the day (the co-working space is particularly useful and internet access free and fast).
We re-booked a River Room to stay in in October, before we checked out.

I come to London after visit 31 years ago. This is a surprising visit in the pandemic era. Chic design with wonderful views of the River Thames and Millennium Bridge. The facilities of open kitchen, oven, hob, washing machine, dish washer and fridge, all are perfectly available for tourists who don’t want to take risks of staying in the crowds of the street. I enjoy the stay so much. I like also the coffee bags, herbal tea and shampoo ,shower gel and toiletries, only limitation is the sink, water always splashes making the sink surface always wet with water.
J. G.
I am a Dentist and stayed at Locke Broken Wharf for 6 days at the start of the Pandemic so I was able to walk to work and help get my patients out of pain.
Not only is the location great, on the banks of the Thames and five minutes walk from the heart of the city, but Rob and his team are so friendly and accommodating I didn’t want to leave. Always a smiling face at reception. When the gym was closed they delivered weights to my room.
It only opened three weeks ago, well designed rooms with small kitchen, comfortable bed and super fast WiFi.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed. 👍

Location was really good! We could walk to most of the biggest sightseeings of London (Big Ben, Millennium Bridge, Tower of London etc.) The hotel is located nearby the Thames and a 7 min walk to the nearest metrostation. We slept in a micro studio which had a modern design, loved the light minty colours. There was a kitchen, a couch, tv and a small table for 2 in it. A bit cramped but very functional. Bed was big and nice. Shower was good and beautiful. The washstand was a bit small and not handy but it was not a big problem for us. Reception was very nice and willing to help you with everything. There is a café in the hotel where you can get lunch and breakfast. We didn't make use of it but it looked good. There is also a big lounge area where you can sit and relax. Price quality was very good, you cannot beat the location. For eating nearby, visit Borough market! Loved the variety of foods there.

Stayed here for 2 weeks - amazing hotel that is very conveniently located. Great service from the staff as well - would highly recommend!
A. N.
It is a brilliantly outfitted hotel, with lovely amenities and rooms. Although it is hard to find, there could be better signage. Either way, once you are in the property, it is an incredibly enjoyable experience and I will not hesitate to stay there again.

Locke at Broken Wharf is an outstanding hotel, clean, tidy with excellent staff always helpful and friendly. For me, the highlights of this place are the views from the rooms facing the river, absolutely stunning and highly recommended.

Great hospitality by the caring Anu. Made my extended stay very enjoyable during the lockdown with her world class service and extensive knowledge of great food in the area.

Very friendly and helpful, superb location. There’s also a cafe/bar option outside of the apartments where you can sit by the river

(Translated) The location, the location, the location! You practically live below the Millennium Bridge, it's a 5 to 10 minute walk to St. Pauls, and over to Tate Modern as well. Bourough Market is about a 15-minute walk from here, as is Sky Garden. It is particularly nice that you are at two Uber Boats moorings and can use the river as a great transport route.
Best tube station Station: Blackfriars. Walking 2 minutes longer than Mansion House but by the river all the time - St Pauls Walk
The accommodation itself is very modern and hip, the lobby and common areas are spacious and offer everything from sitting areas to work areas. There is a small café with very tasty coffee and nice snacks. Staff is super friendly and helpful. A little tip: the toilets in the basement👍. Even the small rooms are well suited for two people, although the shower in particular is quite large, the small kitchen has everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. As is customary today, there is no closet, just a small area to hang something up and a chest of drawers. But should be enough for a short trip.
Very tiny little flaw, but I really don't want to deduct anything for that, is again the lighting situation in the bathroom by the mirror, no woman in her life has done that who knows how difficult it is to put on make-up in such light conditions. And who in the world chose this faucet for the sink🤔😂.
The only thing that really bothers a bit is the very busy street that runs behind the hotel. It is then quite loud, especially because you drive quite fast here at times.
You probably don't hear that in the rooms that have a window facing the river, I would highly recommend it because of the view.

Beste U-Bahn-Station Station: Blackfriars.
