K. H.My second stay here. Reasonable service considering the price. The temperature in the bathrooms was a bit low which did not account for a pleasant shower experience. Apart from that, it is worth every penny

Smells a bit like feet in the dorm but what would you expect in a hostel hosting loads of random people every day. Will use this place again. The guests are random and the general vibe is good. A. G.Great staff, comfy beds. Wish the women's bathroom had a lock and more changing space within the showers although I was in a mixed dorm and experienced no problems. Breakfast was not great, but I can't complain because it was free. Bring your own lock for the cages under the bed.
M. S.We spent 6 days here as a couple in a 4 bed dorm. This place is great! The staff are AMAZINGGG, I cant say enough about their hospitality and attentiveness. Combined with complimentary breakfast, comfy beds, laundry facility, huge kitchen & a downstairs hangout room with a pool table...Need I say more?! 10/10 recommend. Thanks for the awesome time!

Recall it being pretty solid as well as lots of nice folks staying there, and the staff being pretty fun; comment further I can't as I was mostly suffering through terrible jetlag the time I spent in the area. Draw curtains on the dorm beds are always welcome. More hostels need to get with that program.

M.This is by far the best Hostel I was in with most friendliest people in the Reception who let me parc my park my bike inside the lobby so nothing happens to it on the streets of London. Most craziest parking place I had till now.

The London metro which takes you straight to the center is right around the corner, this is very convenient. Would definitely recommend everybody to try once here!
I. L.It's a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days, the staff is super friendly and always ready to help with either figuring out what to do, how the underground works or how to get to the airport of your preference. The rooms are not fancy or anything, but they are adequate. You get a bed and a metal box to put your stuff into (though you gotta bring your own lock to lock the box) and breakfast is included. Same here though: nothing fancy.
All in all, our stay was very pleasant, and if I'm ever back in London, I'd stay here again!
8.What you would expect from a budget hostel. You get a kitchen although you have to pay to store food. Free breakfast was decent. Areas for socialising are neglected. Some cheap places nearby to get groceries. Only other minor complaint was the size of the shower cubicles was a little tight but perfectly serviceable. Gets busy on the weekends (like most major city backpackers) so if you like your sleep maybe switch to a less crowded room.
K. C.Nice clean hostel and inexpensive for its location. Provides a complementary breakfast and sleeps 18 to a room. Breakfast consisted of toast, homemade jelly, and cereal with milk. Has lockers to lock away valuables although these are in short supply. If you bring your own padlock each bed is provided a small-suitcase sized cage but this does not have a lock of its own. Has a total of three showers in the men’s room for the whole business but this seemed to be plenty while I was there.
J. M.Best hostel I've ever stayed in! Breakfast is awesome and the girl who runs it is welcoming and fun. Great people staying here and easy to make friends. Facilities are kept very clean. Curtains for privacy and USB ports/lights/shelf in every bed. Everything you could ask for!

I booked the 21 bed mixed dorm and they put me in a 12 bed girls dorm and then moved me to a 6 bed girls dorm. I was there for a little more than a week *in the off season* and I rather enjoyed my stay despite having a cold for part of it, but I have to say, the charge for the washing machine and dryer is a bit high and they could add some curtains to the ends of the beds, rather than just the one long side opposite the wall, for a little extra privacy.
Also, the rooms get very stuffy, so be prepared to leave the window open a bit, even if it is cold out, and a lot of the people staying here are long term, but that just means you have access to local guides right in your room! ;)
F. M.I booked a single room just for 2 night and the deal was £50 with breakfast included. The room is very cosy and the shared bathroom is cleaned well functioning. The staff is super nice, it's also a great excuse to approach people (especially in the kitchen). This hostel is an a very strategic position, just next to the Hendon Central Underground and surrounded by restaurants and pubs.

t. w.One of the best hostels in London. Management work round the clock to ensure all common areas are kept clean and tidy. The included breakfast is made up of cereals, toast (w/jam & cheese) and the usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Doesn't sound like much but goes a long way when you have to rush to activities early in the morning. The management are very helpful and down to earth so feel free to make a special request and they'll try their best to accommodate your needs.
Y. J. S.My rating is based on my expectations for accommodations in general. I've never stayed in a hostel before, and maybe this is much better than them all.
The place is conveniently located by the subway, has friendly staff, and is clean. On the downside, the pillow sucks, there's no air conditioning, and with so many people in a room there's often lots of noise, including snoring. It can be hard to fall asleep, which is the extent of what I want out of accommodations.
S. s.This is my first ever experience of being in hostel and it’s very good. I have been here with my friends. All the facilities are too good. It is close to railway station so if you want to roam in central London you can get trim from there. Some shops are also near by so you can buy something plus night walking is really near hostel. You can find some people discussing or singing in the hall. Just remember hostel provide free breakfast till 9 or 10 only.
Ohh yes there is free wifi as well so don’t forget to take password from reception.
M. S.Great place, I found it unexpectedly clean, warm, tidy, organised, reasonable price, free great breakfast, working/studying place with a tv and kitchen for anyone to cook, clean toilets and showers, and room service everyday.. honestly the place impressed me..
The only comment I have is the reception team.. they need to know how to smile to guests as their attitude made me feel like either am not welcomed or I am guilty of doing sth!! Management need to address their team how to smile and how to treat their guests nicely, in order to keep the place with the best quality.. I visited there last November and the only receptionist I found smiling when I was checking out was the Australian guy his name is Tim as far as I remember, and I sadly knew that he was leaving the following week! Please keep smiling receptionists at the hostel like him in order to keep a high rate as u do deserve😊 thanku very much for the great stay 😃
L. B.Very good hostel, especially for the price range. Good warm and pressured showers, the beds were comfy and it was very clean. Just be in time for checking in, we arrived on their lunch break,so we had to wait a little haha. Nothing long and it was nice weather.
S. H.Good location next to the train station. The train also only takes 20 minutes to the centre of London and they are very regular. The hotel is dorms with triple bunk beds to fit 15 people. You have privacy curtains though so its not bad also each bed has a light and plugs for charging your electronics. Free WiFi which is also decent. Its not lavish or anything but it gets the job done.

M. D.I stayed 6 days in a room for 21 people (mixte). It was nice but it smelled in this room because some guys were living here for months!
Then I went to a 6 people girls only bedroom and it was really nice, clean!
There is one bathroom for girls and one for boys but it is enough. It is clean.
People are really nice and you can make friends easily. I recommend you this hostel but if you are a girl, prefer a girl only room! :)
m. o.BEST HOSTEL EVER. Mikey who works here is an absolute doll, I love him. I met some of the friendliest people at this hostel, very accommodating and helpful people. I was there for three days I had a 6 mixed room, everyone has their space and the bathrooms are updated.
S. R.Decent stay for 1 or 2 days! Room is very basic which is completely loaded with cots..Washrooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is ok. Location accessibility is very good, 1min walk to tube station.
W. C.Update:
The owner spoke with me and cleared up that it is illegal on London to have an open kitchen. Apparently there are postings about the kitchen closing somewhere in the building, but I was unable to find them.
Be aware that the signs that state "no eating or drinking in rooms" means don't have anything that resembles food or drink in the dorms, or they will take it and put it up for free in the kitchen. Even if it is an unopened gift from/to someone.
The deposit for the kitchen box is non-refundable, which wasn't stated at time of borrowing the box. Only the card key deposit is returned.
Dorms are VERY warm and stuffy. Bring light night clothes.
Again, communication could use work.
For the cost, it isn't bad. Clean rooms and facilities. It is right across the street from the Hendon Central Station. Free breakfast that is mediocre. (Slices of cheese, butter, and jam for toast and cereal. Feeling of kitchen is that you cannot make your own breakfast. Staff hover in kitchen while everyone eats.)
The communication is a joke, though.
1. No word upon checking in that they close the kitchen at 09:00 and at night. I found this out by being kicked out at 9am when I was trying to make my breakfast. A few of us were kicked out at 00:30 as well by the front desk attendant. I have never been to a hostel where they kick you out of a gathering area, lest the kitchen and food prep area.
2a. They lock the front door when changing over beds. This was not information given at check in. I found this out the hard way . I was told we don't get a side card key (£5 deposit) unless you are there for a week or more. But if someone is here for a few days and needs to get in during room change, the person is SOL.
2b. I have been in the room twice during room change over and the people switching the sheets literally kick possessions away from the beds. They also blatantly don't talk to us in the room and shut the overhead lights off without asking if we are using them. Again, I witnessed this twice personally.
3. Food bins for the kitchen are £1 deposit, which isn't posted or discussed anywhere. The kitchen items, such as cups, plates, etc, are padlocked and unable to be accessed during the day.(Note: fridges are tiny for the amount of people that are able to stay here and there was no room for any more items in all the times I tried to store perishables in the fridge. They also look like they haven't been cleaned for ages.)
4. Staff give off irritated air when asked questions. England is different than where I have traveled and lived before, so I have questions on how things work. I felt that staff don't like to be asked for assistance and acted like I should already know how everything works in the area/country. They also don't go out of their way to talk with the people staying at the hostel. This is vastly different than every other hostel I have been to.
I won't return to this place. I feel uncomfortable and will pay more to be closer to the city with better communication and customer service skills.

D.Stayed here for three nights and was very impressed - Location - concerned about the distance into the center at first , However it's directly outside the underground which runs all night (you can't hear this service from the hostel ) and is £1.50 to Euston . Bargain . The area itself is a nice quiet area . Steady . Staff - Found all the staff very friendly and very helpful . In particular Ben who was very welcoming . Without being overwhelming. I had a few of the other people saying that it felt like I family and I feel Ben inparticular may be a contributing factor . After 10 mins it felt comfortable and relaxed as though we had been there for ten days . everyone having a good laugh. Facilites - good shower - powerful - nice and warm. I was happily surprised . Toilets , kitchen , shower and rooms were found very clean again credit to staff . Overall enjoyed my stay .very good value .

They got wi-fi, free breakfast and computors that you can use, example printing out boarding passes and so on..

S. A.Clean rooms, hot showers, good Wi-Fi, and fairly easy to access via public transportion. I really can't complain about this little place. My room is up several flights of stairs, which I totally need, as an American.
I. W.Beds a little uncomfortable and is often noisy, but staff were perfectly friendly and it was only £12 for a night in London so can't really ask for much more. Bear in mind that it is in zone 3 so does take a little bit of travelling to reach central London and its attractions.
N. M.Nice place! Funny and very friendly staff! Had a good time there :) Compared to other hostels, the other guests weren't as chatty and open-minded as we were used to. The kitchen was quite messy, the storage boxes and fridges are always stuffed, and don't expect a real Continental Breakfast. CB is a euphorism for toast, butter, jam, cornflakes and disgusting orange juice :) We've had breakfast elsewhere.
The Central station ist just across the street, takes up to 20 mins to reach the City Centre. There is a variety of shops and takeaway in this area; Hendon is a quite Jewish area, so don't be surprised.
Brent Cross Shopping Centre is about 15 mins walk away with plenty of shops to satisfy your shopping needs. Even a walk to Hampstead is doable! :)
J. B.It is a bit far from the city center, but it's really not that inconvenient. It's in eyesight of Hendon Central Station and you can enjoy some people watching as you travel to your destination. Bunks are a little uncomfortable, but it's a great value for the price and I especially like that there is a curtain and personal lamp with charging station above your head! Also USB ports.
I would stay again!

It was a very pleasant stay and i recommend the hostel to all those youngsters that dont wont to spend much money in accomodotion but expect a hostel near the center and with a good atmosphere. The beds and rooms are not high quality but there are people from all around the world.

Haciendo una descripción sobre el hostel: Cuenta con dos salas de estar, una de ellas está cerrada pero la otra continua abierta siguiendo las medidas de seguridad, a su vez también cuenta con cocina por lo que puedes puedes preparar tu propia comida. Tiene servicio de habitaciones y lavandería.
Se encuentra a pocos metros de la estación de metro de Hendon Central y también esta bien conectado con la línea 113 hacia Oxford Circus. En los alrededores puedes encontrar diferentes tipos de supermercados, post office...
Nuevamente quiero dar las gracias a todos por hacer mi estancia lo más cómoda posible y no dudaré en hospedarme en London Backpacker una segunda vez.

No sé cómo serán los albergues en Londres, pero a mí este por lo menos no me ha convencido. Habitaciones pequeñas para albergar nada menos que 21 camas, sólo incluye desayuno. Es una buena opción para viajes de negocios? No, es una opción para ir poco tiempo, de vacaciones o de fiesta, y en grupo, porque la mayoría de los otros clientes ni hablan ni saludan. Dobra lokalizacja - zaraz koło stacji metra, co nie zmienia faktu, że pół godziny jest do centrum. Czysto. Śniadania okropne... chleb tostowy i ser, sok pomarańczowy ma więcej wspólnego z wodą z Tamizy niż z tym do czego standardowy Europejczyk jest przyzwyczajony. Pomijając niedogodności typu nie dociągające się zasłony w łóżku i mając na uwadze hostele w których dotąd byłam, oceniam to miejsce na 3,5
