This hotel is magnificent and centrally located to many popular sites!!! The room was spotless, had a gorgeous view of the Thames River, and the mattress was SO comfortable!!!! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I have to add that their room service was literally the FASTEST I have ever had in the MANY years that I have traveled!!!!! Seriously it was SHOCKING FAST!!!!! We used room service multiple times and the food was piping hot, delicious and again CRAZY FAST!!!!!!! If you are ever heading to London I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location. Right by Westminster Bridge offering some spectacular views during day and night. I've stayed there twice now and will be coming back again in the future. Starting with initial check in experience to dinners, room service, check out and general customer services I can rate it as 10/10. I'd highly recommend visiting this hotel.
Rooms are very clean and looked after and beds are really comfy along with a very nice shower unit.
I believe there is a pool and spa facilities however I haven't tried those yet.

We didn't stay at the hotel but were having dinner there. We had an issue with our buggy and the lovely people on the door were absolutely fantastic. They helped us in up the steps and patiently waited for us to get the baby sorted and then looked after the buggy for us. Very helpful, very professional. Thank you so much.

I have stayed at the County Hall numerous of times now, it is my go-to spot to relax and enjoy 5 star leisure. The staff on the desk are amazing and friendly, and the staff via room service on phone are polite and requests are always met fast. The location is amazing, just outside the London Eye and across from Big Ben. The pool and sauna is available to use when you book too. 10/10, I highly recommend it.

My husband is a Titanium member and we travel around the world, a lot, and this hotel may be our very favorite of any place we have stayed.
We are currently guests here. It is our third visit to London and third stay at this hotel.
We have a favorite room we stay in and every time we request it, we have been fortunate to get it.
The location can't be beat and the staff is top notch. This time around, Laura at the front desk was accommodating and just plain PHENOMENAL when we checked in. Felicia in the library breakfast "nook" was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her.
Love this place- I don't want to leave, but it's easier knowing we will definitely be back!

We went before Christmas with 2 adults, 3 kids and got a lovely room with view on the boardwalk and the London Eye. Big room with good amenities.
Staff was extremely kind and delivered excellent service. Started with dinner in Gillray's Steakhouse & Bar the first night. Good food, friendly service.
Pool was accessible via a booking system, worked vey well.
Room was not cleaned very thoroughly. The cleaners did not come in with a vacuum cleaner at all during our stay, did not meet expectations for such a hotel.

Checking into County Hall today. Service has been amazing. We are frequent travelers and have high expections. Every staff member has been professional and friendly. I would like to give kudos to Martina and Kibrom in the M Club!! They made me feel special and welcome! They took such good care of me. Take care of your valued employees - they give you Hotel ambience!!

Five starred hotel in central London. Convenient location in the old County Hall just across the Thames from Parliament.
Rooms were of a high standard and over all level of service was excellent. Hotel has a fantastic fitness centre, including a pool, up on the 5th floor. Breakfast was very good and the bar is also decent.
Hotel offers a good selection of conferencing facilities.

If I could give the staff a 6 out of 5, I would. Genuine, courteous, knowledgeable, professional. Rui leads an excellent team in the lounge. And a phenomenal property in the center of London. Always love coming to this property- highly recommend.

Excellent hotel, with an amazing location - South Bank of the River Thames. This place has an atmosphere of traditional and modern, perfectly combined.
Since the building used to be the County's Hall until the beginning of the last century, We decided to try out the afternoon tea at the Library, on the first floor. The library still houses periodicals and oficial ďocuments from its original time. Very cool.
It was a great experience, with amazing views and a variety of pastries, finger sandwiches, jellies, wine and champagne available with the meal.
My kids definitely raved the chocolate éclairs 🫖🍾🍷🍰🧁🍮
If its your first time having formal tea, I'd recommend not scheduling dinner soon after. This formal tea is a complete meal. You wouldn't have much of an appetite after it.
We'll be back 😍

Second time staying here, they unfortunately changed the room service. Everything arrived in takeaway boxes, not so tasty… what happened to 5 starts Marriott service?! The other services were great. I hope they’ll get rid of this unnecessary covid19 policy on food.

We arrived reasonably late in the evening and decided to order room service.
The order arrived some 30-40 minutes later served in a paper bag!

We experienced a great welcome by all the team. Our room was amazing, very modern and clean. We had booked a gin afternoon experience in the bar which was amazing. We also managed to take a swim in the morning, extremely impressive gym facilities. A lovely weekend treat

We booked the kids staycation offer. The kids were delighted with their slippers and cuddly toys. The room was very spacious. We had access to the lounge-the drinks were nice however there did need to be more snack items especially during the day

This hotel is a must if you plan to stay in Central London. The building is fantastic and located right on the Thames with easy access to the tube stations & river boats which stop right outside. We experienced a warm welcome from the …

The County Hall is one of my favorite London properties. Besides being in a historic old building that actually served as the meeting place for Parliament in the 80s when their usual digs where being renovated, the hotel is just across Westminster Bridge from Big Ben/Houses of Parliament. You can walk straight across the bridge and up the road to Trafalgar Square, there's a tube station directly across on the opposite bank, or cross the bridge and turn right and you'll be walking along the Strand. It's just a little bit removed and across the river from the main tourist areas (although the London Eye is literally right next door) so that the congestion isn't so bad, but not so far enough away that it's inconvenient to get to wherever you want to be.

My stay was awesome! They accommodated my requests and the staff were so hospitable.
The only thing is the room we stayed in had small issues: some light bulbs were …

The Hotel was clean and front of house staff were attentive. I did not eat in the restaurant as the menu was limited and not that appealing for a Vegetarian but OK if you wanted a steak!. Also I thought the application of a service charge for each drink ordered at the bar a little excessive. The pool was very good and well organised

Visited this hotel for a stopover during our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. The hotel staff, from the doormen to the front desk staff were exceptional. And the hotel manager gave us some brownies too! Amazing, would highly recommend to anyone and the view was incredible!

The hotel is lovely and in a perfect location. We booked a room with a view and that view was spectacular. The food was great, but it was the service that made it special, and everyone we dealt with were lovely and helpful…..I’d like to give a special mention to the team in the Executive Lounge. Thank you everyone

Despite the outstanding location and the decent atmosphere, the experience is quite hard to enjoy. We booked the room with a park view, but they gave us the room with a inner courtyard view. We changed twice and finally got a room with a park view, where we can have a glimpse of the London Eye. The room was not bad for the price, but I cannot rate the experience very high.

Location is superb, staff are highly professional and welcoming (especially Leena who is very supportive and friendly) and their services are just to make you enjoy the stay! highly recommended 👍🏽

Average hotel but very nice views from the rooms The Rooms are all new service average for a Marriott comfortable stay
R. D.
Staff excellent, Room fabulous…toilet a little smelly. I think the front of hotel where you drive in let’s it down badly. Under arch leading to Hotel lots of cigarettes butts & rubbish should be cleaned daily looks like it hasn’t been swept in a while. The false grass & the miniature Big Ben looks very cheap. Should have real soil & flowers planted there, would be more in keeping with the Hotel.
I.
A piece of history with a wonderful view! The hotel is situated in an old county hall, however it's been rennovated and the rooms are comfy. The swimming pool is nice and we also enjoyed the gin bar. Breakfast was decent, not brilliant. The staff were all very kind and gracious. The housekeeping is a bit on the spotty side, you have to request it proactively and they still sometimes don't show up or forget to replace soaps or wash glasses. It's conveniently located not far from both Westminster and Waterloo tube and other attractions. Would definitely recommend!

Overall a pleasant stay, great location. Shame the bar closes at 11pm and there is still no room service after 10pm or any mini bar. Always prefer a buffet breakfast with lots of choice, but covid is now the normal excuse

I never post reviews, I am writing this review due to unique circumstances.
Such an amazing hotel, the service was outstanding from the moment we arrived.🥇🏆
Good value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful and a very nice atmosphere at the hotel.💕
Lovely staff (excellent front desk staff compare to Marriott Northampton NN4 7HW where I learned that cannabis is legal in UK now equally as in my own country Netherlands ‘not only for a medical use “ , after dealing with a very young receptionist with a very strong cannabis breath smell during’ checking-in’ I smelled even through the Covid barrier. 🤢
Such an important concern has been addressed to the Manager on next day. However, she advised me with a very cheeky uncaring smile, I am making a false allegation and I can not prove anything!!!She also strongly advised me This Subject is now closed for good!!! Thank you for staying with us. There you go...........................
I was truly disappointed and disgusted by making me a liar, more than that I was shocked by her response and a very defensive attitude even she was protecting her staff which is a really good thing to do but not in this case. She is very loyal to her staff 👍🏻but not loyal to Marriott 👎🏻
Not really sure how this can tolerated by Marriott in general. 🤷🏼♂️ Staff like that are destroying “impeccable Marriotts reputation” and “trustworthiness in Marriotts culture” ☹️)
My faith in Marriott has been restored a big thank to your hotel front desk staff. 💕
Excellent stay room was nice and clean , breakfast was something to look forward to, the gluten is nicely controlled in the breakfast. ( equally a very nice place to dine at Marriott Northampton NN4 7HW )
Loved the housekeeping staff, very lovely women. ( equally carrying the housekeeping staff at Marriott Northampton room was nice and clean)
Thank you for a lovely stay!
J.
Rooms at the rear of hotel noisy with tannoy announcements throughout the night. Bar area disappointing. Breakfast service lacking but very friendly staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Good location.
T.
Loved this hotel. Room service was extortionate as was juice at breakfast aside from that everything else was top class. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely pool and facilities

This hotel goes above and beyond for you! Honestly nothing is too much for them ! If you’re contemplating going here, just do it ! We went to celebrate a 21st birthday and it was 100% worth the money. Great location and super easy to navigate.

I was treated so well here, it was just an amazing experience. My room was beautiful with a fantastic view.

This hotel is absolutely magnificent. Place is always clean. The drive up to the entrances feels as though you are in the countryside. Rooms are spacious and very big. Gym facilities are available hot tub is amazing. One off the best hotels on London. I would highly recommend the top few rooms with the view of the river as at night the view becomes amazing I would highly recommend it and it's a wonderful view.

Good rooms. Fab location! Clean. Excellent pool/gym facilities. Bet happy with the breakfast. We were welcomed with Sparkling Wine and balloons/kids activity packs for kids. Wonderful decor and away from the bustling crowds. Great start
It probably deserved a 4.5 star but the staff need improving. Nothing major but you’d hope they have basic skills. Luckily it didn’t ruin the experience and overall I’d still recommend this hotel.

Perfect location with very professional and accommodating staff. Great room views and right in the middle of all the great sights of London. Clean room, good bed and linen, silent, friendly, Gym o.k. (as always there are few standing bicycles and most of them are damaged).
Very good location.

Really Iconic place to enjoy. I love the fitness Club. The restaurant needs some charming decoration it is too plain, the management needs to be more client oriented and the food is good but the presentation is deplorable. Look on the pictures below what it's advertised and what you get :(

Except for the lack of step-free access and the gym needing urgent maintenance, this hotel has the best location and provides the best value for money in central London.

We recently stayed as a family at this hotel and had a great time. Walking outside was very convenient with views of the Thames. The staff were all lovely from beginning to end. The teenagers loved the pool and extensive gym. Would definitely stay here again.

County Hall is in the most amazing location on the door step of the London Eye and the Aquarium. In the evenings there was a great choice of nearby restaurants on South Bank. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had two double beds so was well suited for a family of three. Clean and comfortable.

Once Google maps doesn’t send you the wrong way your fine. This hotel is near the London eye but entrance is via London Bridge oppose st Thomas hospital. There was a little bit of wait to get a table but understandable.
They have a qr code in mini bottles to access the menu. I was really impressed by this and well done to you guys. The meal was impressive as well, fresh made coleslaw. Spare ribs with flavours to make your heart melt
R.
Excellent service from the staff. Always helpful and on hand for any query’s. They set up our hotel room with a ‘just married’ sign, balloons and rose petals as it was our honeymoon. Cant recommend them enough

We had a marvellous stay at the Marriott, an excellent location for Southbank and all the attractions. Special mention for Pauline on reception who my 7 year old daughter adored and said was ‘so kind and helpful’ - as were all the staff. Thank you!

Excellent staff! Extremely clean and fantastic location!
Extremely clean room, fantastic location and the staff couldn't do enough! We were on a weekend break (family of 4) for my son's 18th bday, the location was fantastic to either go out and about town... or just sit and watch the world go by from the room or Gilrays Steak house (which do the best burgers by the way). Miko (concierge), Pranita (restaurant) and all the other staff were very friendly and made our stay a fantastic experience. I couldn't fault the service! The covid measures the hotel has taken also make you feel really safe, everything was spotless, public areas disinfected and sprayed. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Group of 6 friends celebrating recently missed birthdays. Afternoon tea at The Library is superb setting with views over Thames across to Big Ben & H of Parliament. First class discreet but attentive service from Gareth & Aurora really made a difference from advance call to check my booking then making it extra special with complimentary arrival fizz drink & a mocktail for one of our party plus an amazing choc cake decorated with Happy Birthday & 6 juicy plump choc dipped strawberries! The tea choice is impressive & tastes to match. We were a demanding group; one last minute cxn, one v late arrival yet our 2hour table time was extended plus various dietary special requests! So we were able to enjoy the experience over 3hours. Thank you Gareth for all your efforts, flexibility & willingness to oblige our various whims & requests. Would thoroughly recommend the venue and genuine personal service for high tea, notably the champagne, coronation chicken sandwiches, home made lemon curd & basil scones and County Hall tea blend! Would recommend & hope to return again.

Excellent location for this Marriott hotel. Definitely 5* for the upkeep of the property and the exceptional service from staff in all areas. Would have no hesitation in recommending and my daughter and I will look forward to returning on our next London break.
M. 1.
went for afternoon tea with colleagues and the staff were so friendly, helpful and happy, one of the servers could of easily been a comedian.
will admit that was a little awkward when they do that putting the table cloth on your lap for you thing but that's mainly because hierarchal situations are kinda weird to me, so if being waited on isn't your thing, that part might be a lil uncomfy for you. then again, if you're going here that's probably part of the experience for you...? but if you're not, that was a word to the wise lol
D.
The location of this hotel is spectacular, however the hotel needs more cleaning and the staff needs training, specially during breakfast as we got the wrong order multiple times. Being a long term Marriott customer I was expecting more. Although I must say that despite the issues we had with our room, the staff was very friendly.

Exceptional architecture and gesture. Been here many times, very recently with my mom for photographs and realised that I had missed much during my official meetings. A wonderful stay and wonderful staff with great facilities but the food range is too narrow and unless one wants to eat steak there is very little else. Nothing Asian, very few healthy options. We ordered takeaway and that worked well

Not a great night's sleep on a double bed that was actually be two twin beds zipped together. Room was also quite stuffy as the air con appeared not to be functional

Post lockdown stay. The hotel spotless and the staff friendly and professional. Room fantastic with a view of the London Eye. Close to everything you need to see and do. Would recommend and definitely will go back.

Excellent hotel, our family just stayed here for a night. The staff are extremely accommodating, especially if you are still choosing to social distance as much as possible. Help is offered with parking, all staff are wearing masks, lifts are kept separate for each set of guests, social distancing in bar/restaurant and room service. Great views of London and a nice walk around the Thames should you choose to do so. Thank you to all the staff who made this a nice safe stay.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location, only let down was not many alcoholic drinks available if you’re not a Lover of Gin, as for the steakhouse the meat was cooked to how I liked however, the grill didn’t seem to be cleaned that it was cooked on as there was a taste of burnt which took away the flavour of the meat.

Great location but a bit pricey. Drinks are very expensive. Didn’t eat in the hotel and had room only £21 each for breakfast is extortionate.
