J. L. N.Cozy and welcoming. The hotel is old but has that old Tim charm and character. A few modern touches and light updating will bring this establishment up to par. But the character is amazing. Not badly priced either.
D.I've stayed in better and I've stayed in worse. The staff are friendly and the beds are relatively clean. I stayed in two different rooms, one of which had the radiator stuck on (it was 28° outside) so it was hard to sleep. The second room I stayed in had aircon but being on the ground floor also made it hard to sleep because you could hear the kitchen staff and the clients smoking the shisha.
G. D.Brillant place for the price. the food was lovely, but I'm not keen on the London style "to go" breakfasts.
The staff were brillant n friendly so I think that's more important to me then most things.
The bed was a little uncomfortable so watch out if you have a bad back.
The air con thing in the room was really powerful and I like that as I like a cold breeze to sleep.
Excellent location for busses n the area was very quiet so as someone who doesn't know London Id be very happy to stay here again.

O. S.Stayed in winter 2020 right before corona. The place is great value for money! Near bus stops and the busy High Street, walking distance from the underground, clean and quiet. Between Heathrow airport and London. Offers enough to choose from for the breakfast. Offers ChargeBolt chargers, which is a relative novelty and very convenient. Clean beds and bathroom, warm and cozy, friendly staff, nice hospitality tray. Perfect for adult independent travellers, but will do for many bec of the price.

Y. S.This spot deserves a great review. The rooms addres small...ish but adequate for a couple. The shower curtains is a big negative, but apparently the 3rd floor had already been upgraded and the rest pending. The buffet breakfast is filling, the place is halaal, some lovely savoury cakes on offer. They have 2 "managers", the one pleasant and approachable (Ali?), the other a bit stern looking and rather distant. Kitchen staff really helpful. Stayed here twice and loved it both times. Would definitely use them again, especially as they busy upgrading which should be a major plus.
N. M.A very quaint and clean hotel with super friendly staff. We had a family room, and still found it comfortable to have all 5 of us in the same space. The kids loved the bunk beds and the delicious breakfast. A good bargain place to stay if visiting London, as the metro is a short 10 minute walk away.

H. D.A really nice wee hotel at an excellent price. The breakfast was a bit more continental than full English, but the rooms were clean and the beds comfy - I had a night at my own expense in a standard room that was perfectly acceptable, then for the next two nights (same price, but booked separately for work) I was put in one of the top floor rooms with smart windows and blinds controlled by a remote - very fancy!

A. J. A.Stayed for five nights, the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was British Halal and delicious... The service was excellent and the stuff is lovely and helpful when you need assistance .. There is a free car park during limited hours NOT 24/7, I struggled to find a car park nearby.

M. B.The intention to provide a good experience is there but the execution leaves a little to be desired. We had no kettle for our tea tray, no hairdryer in the drawer labelled hairdryer and the TV was not connected to any aerial. Having said that we booked looking for somewhere not too far from Wembley to get some sleep. The bed was comfortable, the shower was OK. The breakfast was rather eclectic but filled us up. Overall it was OK for our purposes but didn't feel like a 3 star hotel.

The area is nice, with a tube station a 10 minute walk away and a bus stop right outside. I would advise going out on your own at night, as the area appears to be a bit rough at night, but daytime is fine.

Various choices on breakfast menu that will satisfy perhaps everyone.the design and condition of the rooms and the interior of the hotel is new and attractive.the same for bathrooms.there is parking around the hotel however there is a restriction between Monday to Friday and hours 9-10 in the morning and 3-4 in the afternoon.so for these 2*1 hours during the day I had to move my car next block where there is a Morrison's parking.no need to do that in the weekend.i recommend this hotel as one of the best affordable hotels.transport to the city centre can happen by either walking about 13minutes to Acton town underground station or by red bus to the same station. The bar in the ground floor also offers shisha for 10-15£ which is crowded every evening with people enjoying.
N. x.Hidden Diamond! After a long night looking for a hotel late at night, I managed to find London star hotel! And I’m glad I did.
Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable, stayed at the deluxe room and I was speechless, electronic windows, room was newly refurbished and clean.
Will definitely come back next time I’m in London! Thank you London star 🌟
g.Nice place to stay. Cleen and spacy rooms, friendly staff. There is a vide variety of choices to pick for brekfast also the hotel has its own restaurant if you dont want to do out. Its a bit far from public transport as it takes about from five to ten minutes to the bus or metro, however thats why the place the hotel is located is quieter, less street noises
M. F.I was upgraded to one of the more expensive rooms so can only comment on those. The newly refurbished room had an enormous bed, clean crisp sheets and a deepile, sound absorbant carpet. Hardly heard a squeek from neighbours and due to double glazing roadnoise was minimal. Superclean bathroom and great (once i had worked out how to use it) shower. Only downside was a lack of instruction on how to use the technology. Good enough to book another night.

C. L.My husband and I stayed here on 10th July as we were attending Kew The Music in the evening. We managed to park directly outside, and were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Our room was on the third floor which has been completely refurbished, and was large and well lit. Bathroom was also new and we had a remotely controlled air conditioning unit and could even open the bathroom window remotely. When we made enquiries about how to get to Kew Gardens that evening, the lady on reception kindly looked up our entire journey and even wrote down directions,platform number and train times for us. Breakfast was unlimited and we didn’t feel hurried at all. We were made to feel very welcome, and we would definitely stay here again.

There's a Lebanese restaurant in the lobby.
It's a bit loud with there being a hooka bar right below the room window but nothing a cheap set of ear plugs won't fix.
All in all I'm glad we stayed here.
A. S.Clean rooms with good beds and a shower, awesome wifi and great continental breakfast. Nights were quite quiet if you kept the windows closed and the place wasn't too crowded. Morrisons supermarket is nearby and getting to central London is easy via underground from Acton Town Station.

Be careful about parking - obey instructions when cars shouldn't be parked w/o specjal permits. In the evening you may have some neighbours with shishas. Polish Delikatesy in neighbourhood.

The hotel is located at very good location with close rail station(North Ealing and Acton) which makes it very easy and convenient to get to london and back. Especially if you are having kids but the best train station is North Ealing which has a parking lot at fee for the whole day. Is next to Morrison which makes shopping convient plus other groceries/restaurants around. Only issue is parking has restrictions at certain hours.Overall its affordable,convient and value for money.

D. A.(Translated) We stayed in this hotel from 31 January to 3 February and we had a great time, clean room, very quiet, discreet breakfast, very quiet area, helpful and always smiling staff. The metro station is about a kilometer, whatever you choose as a descent, but very well served by buses, getting off at the NORTH ACTON take the 440 and take you to the front of the hotel. The kitchen deserves applause for the excellent dinner they prepared for us on the first evening.

Siamo stati in questo albergo dal 31 Gennaio al 3 Febbraio e ci siamo trovati benissimo, camera pulita, molto silenziosa, colazione discreta, zona molto tranquilla, personale disponibile e sempre sorridente. La stazione della metro è a circa un kilometro, qualunque si scelga come discesa, ma molto ben servita dai bus, scendendo alla NORTH ACTON si prende il 440 e ti porta davanti all'albergo. Un applauso lo merita la cucina per l'ottima cena che ci hanno preparato la prima sera.

A.(Translated) Very good hotel, the staff are really very kind and courteous (like Londoners in general) we spent 4 nights at this hotel at 4 (2 adults and 2 small children) the room for 3 was adequate. There is a metro station 1 km away but if you have a vehicle, I strongly advise you to take the metro from North Ealing 6km from the bus unlike Acton, you can park (4.5 pounds a day) well insulated rooms. The included breakfast is enough to get some strength and visit London.

Très bon hôtel, le personnel est vraiment très gentil et courtois (comme les Londoniens en général) nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet hôtel à 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants en bas âges) la chambre pour 3 était suffisante. Il y a une station de métro à 1 km mais si vous avez un véhicule, je vous conseille fortement de prendre le métro de North Ealing à 6km de la car contrairement à celui d'Acton, vous pourrez vous garer (4.5 pounds la journée) chambres bien isolées. Le petit déjeuner inclus est suffisant pour prendre des forces et visiter Londres.
