My wife and I stayed at the Melbourne House Hotel for a week stay and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is very accommodating, and the rooms size was as expected for London. A couple minute walk to Pimlico station and about a 10 minute walk to Victoria Station. About a 20 minute walk to the Westminster sights. The breakfast was a really nice adder. The fact that the Hotel did not have lifts was not of any concern for us, but it might be for you.

Warm, lovely staff; Diana is an absolute angel! Very nice breakfast in the mornings. Room was clean and neat. The only thing that could keep some people away is that there are stairs involved for every part of your stay. If you're fine with navigating stairs, I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel! For the price for central London the room was a good size with a nice view and fan and hair dryer provided. The showers were excellent with a great temperature, water pressure and volume. The continental breakfast was lovely and very well stocked.

My wife and me were there during January 2018. The hotels' position is perfect to access public transportation service. Victoria Station, Pimlico Station and Belgrave Road bus stops S and R are all within the 1km range, so all of them can be easily reached by walk. The hotel has recently been renewed and the rooms are comfortable although quite small. Overall the cleanliness was good, apart from some details (one of the towels we found when we arrived was a bit dirty, but honestly this happened only once: for the remaining three days of our stay, the towels were perfectly clean). Our room included breakfast, which was quite good, although we hoped for a larger selection of foods. Friendly staff and convenient fares, compared with similar hotels in the same area.

This is a house hotel and the family runs the business. The best part about the hotel is the friendliness of the staff. When it comes to room, the rooms are small which is fine in London but the beds are not comfortable as it is supposed to be. the breakfast is decent for the price we are paying. Overall not the best option in the near vicinity as we stayed in another property which is the proximity. Another major issue is with the staircase as there no lifts. The staff is very courteous as they allowed us to keep the luggage in their reception till the evening at no charge.

My sister and I had a wonderful two nights here. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. We were on the top floor so the view was very nice. Since there isn’t an elevator it was very good exercise as well! I would recommend this location to others who are looking for a quiet area to stay.

My daughter and myself have just got back from London and we stayed at this Hotel from the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a warm welcome, the rooms are excellent, the continental breakfast was amazing, and what can I say about the staff well they are all so polite and can not do enough for you. The next time we are down London I know where we are staying. Plus I will recommend to friends and family Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Ideal location for our visit to London. A stroke of luck that the No. 24 bus stopped nearby and took us past Westminster and up to Tottenham Court Rd. Very accommodating management team and a decent room. A large bathroom (we were room #1) but not an inspiring breakfast. But pros far outweigh cons. Plenty of local cafes/eateries and just down the road from Victoria. Will definitely revisit.

A cousy home away from home. A simple but very clean and comfortable hotel. The beds was very comfortable. The location is excellent. Just a few minutes walk from the under ground station and a walking distance to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham palace. Quiet. A local pub is a minut walk from there. The best service! The manager made us feel like a visit at a distant careing unkle. Every time he made shoor then we leave the hotel that we had an umbrella or that we have eaten. He was extremely nice and helpful. I am surtenatly will stay there again.

First stay here, whilst the hotel and room were very clean it was rather dated. Excellent location only a 5 minute walk from Pimlico station. Be warned there is no lift and there are rooms on the 4th floor! Health & Safety isn't great, had to boil the kettle in my room on the floor as there was no power supply close enough to use the kettle safely... overall, 3 stars due to no lift, dated decor and unsafe kettle use.

Very close to bus, 10 min walk to Victoria Station. Staff Nima provided useful info about currency exchange and transportation to sightseeings. Owner John remember guest's breakfast preference, he is very nice and after many years management, continue seeking improvement of service. Room is small, no lift, but that is what I expected.
