W.Hard to find, no signage from road, a bit odd in this respect, but room was clean and bathroom was fine, location is pretty decent for London city airport (1 tube plus 3 DLR) for the price, if you are after service then this is not the place, but if you just need a bed for transiting through London then it's fine.
A.I will be staying here again. Cheap and cheerful as you'd expect for the price. Good access to London via public transport quiet during the night despite the main road.
A.Very well priced and clean. Good staff. A bit far from the city center since it's in zone 3 but overall a recommendation for its price and room.

Se sai adeguarti alle condizioni minime, se non cerchi lusso o comodità ma solo un posto dove dormire la notte, dopo aver lavorato molte ore e soprattutto se il tuo budget è più che misero....allora il Metro Star fa per te. La sua posizione ti consente di essere vicino alla metropolitana e tutto sommato in mezz'ora ti trovi ovunque. Per il resto aggiungo di aver conosciuto l'unica persona che lavora e si dimostra di essere disponibile nel risolvere ogni problema......

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Vicino alla metro e alla fermata del bus. Tutti i servizi previsti cioè TV, asciugacapelli e riscaldamento, funzionano regolarmente. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Forse avrebbe bisogno di alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione.
S. F.(Translated) (-) First of all we didn't find the "hotel" because it wasn't recognizable as such.
(-) We didn't know beforehand that it was in a "ghetto" and you didn't really feel safe.
(-) We had a "deluxe double room", which was relatively small, but enough to sleep. Closet, bed, table with glasses and cups, fan, television. However, you couldn't regulate the heating yourself and it was set extremely hot for us. But realized it was too late to give notice, or there was nobody to speak to.
(+) However, it is very well connected to the underground and buses and there is a small supermarket around the corner that is open for a long time.
(+) Very hard-working and super nice staff. You are warmly welcomed and although the room was not ready for occupancy because we were there 2 hours early, we were able to bring the things into the room and it didn't look bad.
(+) The bedroom and the bathroom were clean!
But we wouldn't book it again personally, it was just out of necessity because it was the cheapest still available for our weekend trip.

(-) Erstmal haben wir das "Hotel" nicht gefunden, weil es nicht als solches erkennbar war.
(-) Dass es in einem "Ghetto" liegt haben wir vorher nicht geahnt und man fühlte sich nicht so wirklich sicher.
(-) Wir hatten ein "Deluxe-Doppelzimmer", dieses war relativ klein, aber zum schlafen reichte es. Schrank, Bett, Tisch mit Gläsern und Tassen, Ventilator, Fernseher. Allerdings konnte man die Heizung nicht selbst regeln und die war bei uns extrem heiß eingestellt. Haben es aber zu spät gemerkt um Bescheid zu geben, bzw. es war keiner da zum ansprechen.
(+) Allerdings ist es super gut angebunden an die Underground und Busse und es gibt um die Ecke einen kleinen Supermarkt, der sehr lange geöffnet hat.
(+) Sehr bemühtes und super nettes Personal. Man wird herzlich empfangen und obwohl das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig war, weil wir 2 Stunden zu früh da waren konnten wir die Sachen ins Zimmer bringen und es sah nicht schlecht aus.
(+) Das Schlafzimmer sowie das Badezimmer war sauber!
Wir würden es aber persönlich nicht nochmal buchen, es war nur aus der Not heraus, weil es das günstigste noch verfügbare für unser Wochenendtrip war.
