Decor of the hotel was to an excellent standard, breakfast was a cut above what I was expecting (e.g. Brewers Fayre). Seemed an odd choice to have reception on the 1st floor as opposed to the ground floor. Bed wasn't comfortable but of course that's personal preference. No road noise to speak of. Shower was nice and hot, with plenty of flow. Receptionists were polite and attentive, if a bit hard to understand their heavy French accents.

Overall was a great stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal location for the Apollo, but also Kensington / central London. Room seemed clean. We were also very early for check in but we were able to go to an available room, which was great. A recommendation would be to make it clearer about dinner, as we booked a room which included dinner, but on arrival it wasn't made clear and again when we ended up ordering dinner, just seemed complicated for something simple. And if I'm being really picky, some better pillows and cases (personal opinion). Definitely recommend staying here.

great 5 day stay. the hotel is in walking distance from the hammersmith station. rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet.
the desk staff is very friendly and helpful... answering all my questions and addressing any concerns i had very quickly,
in the lobby there is a restaurant that served food including breakfast.
they also have a bar/lounge located inside the lobby.
the interior design looks goos as well and the landscape architecture on the outside of the building.
overall good experience

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and Covid measures in place. A very comfortable bed and great breakfast choice. Room was clean but a little stuffy even with the window open. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Very good stay. We were in a premium room on the top floor, great view eastwards over London. Comfortable bed, everything very clean. Room service prompt. Only small criticism is that the tea bags hadn't been topped up! I could easily have asked for more, so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was included in the price, and it was buffet style. Perfectly adequate. We would stay again definitely, as the position is great, very close to Hammersmith tube station.

I must say the room was fantastic comfortable bed clean and tidy really nice the only thing is the bath is a bit tight. Now the reception was fantastic they really is young girl with glasses directed us where we wanted ago and we got right there straight away fantastic couldn't thought the staff there. Now this was let's down the side. we decided to have a drink before we went up room my girlfriend wanted a Bacardi and Coke and I wanted a Budweiser at first you couldn't find the and then she couldn't find the Budweiser even though there was a fridge full of Budweiser right behind then she struggled because I paid cash she couldn't work it out she was working it out with her fingers and she was so slow

I stay here quite a lot for work and I find the hotel a bit hit or miss. Some rooms are really comfy, fairly modern and have good sound proofing. Others feel like a halloween scare house prank room. Staff are always friendly and the breakfast is good. Room service menu is quite limited.

This is a really good venue. We have stayed here for both on site conventions and gigs at the Apollo which is easy walking distance. Hotel is large, bright, modern and very comfortable. You pay for it though. Whilst room rates are ok for London, parking at £35 a night is expensive, also be aware that the underground carpark is only 1.85m tall so not all cars will fit and surface parking on site is first come, first served. Now in the zone for ULEZ and Congestion Charge every day but Christmas Day, driving here could easily add £60 to your stay. Bar food is £5.50 a pint, same for a sandwich and a burger is £15. Breakfast is a buffet style on an industrial scale and can get very busy. Still it’s convenient and comfortable and we will be back next December at least. Should the hotel read this please consider that running a mini fridge 24/7 to cool 2 bottles of waster is not great.

I stayed here because i was attending an event in the conference centre.
The hotel has a very modern feel: the decor and ambience was quite chic.
The parking rates were reasonable and there's also a Just Park option.
The room provides lovely views and contains all the necessary facilities to enhance rest and provide convenience.
The breakfast buffet even included noodles!

Rooms were comfortable but a little tired. Beds were comfortable good location for tube and the Appolo theatre. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. I found all the hotel staff polite and extremely helpful.

Stayed here overnight to go and see rag n bone man. Rooms large, bed comfy, and even a fridge, excellent. Had a meal in the bar, amazing and staff lovely. Breakfast was a bit crazy but food lovely and plenty. But bless them so short staff.
H. B.
The staff members are so nice and lovely especially Elliot in the restaurant he was so welcoming.
The breakfast buffet was variant and has plenty of options. All in all nice stay

640 rooms, no problem booking. Bar area is very good on the first floor with a good reasonable menu, open to Non Residents. Only downside, I found the pillows uncomfortable and could do with an upgrade to softer ones.
O. H.
The bar and restaurant kitchen team prepared a delicious food left us very impressed after our visit!
I asked the reception and they said the name of the chef is Mr Omkar Mestry - thank you chef top star rating.

Lovely staff and a very very good breakfast. Rooms big and comfy beds. Towels were very small and thin and rooms are more than fine. 15 minutes to central London with shops and restaurants close by. A few extra touches in the room and better towels woukd have given it 5. Would stay again as good value.

Was at comic con. Wot a great day out. Brilliant. Will b going back for another day out with daughter who loves anime. From wot isaw of hotel it is very nice, clean and spacious
P. D.
The room was huge and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was cold even if the heater was on. The hotel is lovely, but the food on the trays was left outside the rooms for the entire day. I wouldn't say I liked it. It appears unattended.
K.
Hotel is comfortable although it has a bit of an impersonal feel to it. Staff seemed a bit inexperienced but pleasant enough. I had an issue with the bacon at breakfast: it was cold and hard and had clearly been out for some time. I could …

Always helpful friendly staff. They make you feel like part of the Novotel family and not just a customer. Thanks to all the team at Novotel Hammersmith.

Participated in a conference here today. The staff were very friendly and the catering was good. Staying here this evening. Check in was simple and the receptionist was very friendly helpful. The executive room was well provisioned with the usual coffee/tea, but also sported a Nespresso machine with 4 free capsules! Little bit disappointing that the Bose speaker on the desk only has and old style Apple/iPhone connector which renders it useless to anyone in this day and age.
M. K.
I have been here to attend London Anime and Gaming Con 2022 february the hotel is very close to Hammersmith station only 5 minutes walking, quite big hotel, looks nice, good for events
S. O.
London anime convention would recommend but book tickets as very busy. Great cosplay, stalls, stage and large gaming area. Great for teens
P. A.
Nice well maintained hotel, but the lifts seem to be hidden away, some being around corners that you'd never think of looking at - it's a pity it's not closer to train stations as it's a good 15 minute walk, but it's a good place overall
P. B.
Rooms clean and spacious. Staff very helpful. Wonderful choice of breakfast. Only issue was the very limited bar menu as the restaurant was closed.
S. L.
Part of the nice and reliable hotel chain, located conveniently in Hammersmith of zone 2 in Central London. It is perfectly located for visiting London (underground fare should be identical for travel within zones 1 & 2) and can be reached by a number of underground lines. There is an on-site parking where residents receive special discounted rate, just make sure that you ask the hotel staff to validate the parking ticket whe checking out.
I usually use the hotel for the overnight stay before an early morning flight. While the hotel may be further away from Heathrow comparing with the airport hotels along A4 and around M25 in Hounslow and Uxbridge, it's proximity to London allows me a pleasant evening out in the capital city rather than wasting a night stuck in an anonymous hotel.
The hotel is very very BIG with lots and lots of rooms. I was given a room at the end of the long corridor. It took a good five minutes to walk to and from the lifts! Nice and quiet and good exercise specially after a hearty hot English breakfast. Do ask the friendly staff if you would prefer your room to be a bit closer to the lifts. During my stay, check in and out were very efficient and all staff came across very attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel to the others.
H. M.
Lovely event space, clean, great amenities. Next time a convention is here I'll definitely stay!
V. H. G.
Good location if you are flying into or out of Heathrow. Right along the Piccadilly line. Nice location away from the hustle and bustle of London proper, but easy enough to take the tube into the city.
L. S.
It was fine. Wouldn't call it a 4 star place though.

I was really looking forward to my stay here having paid a premium price for three nights. In my booking with Theresa, I specified that I needed my children's room next to mine and I was assured on several occasions that would be fine. Having arrived Friday night I was surprised to hear that my children's room would be a corridor away. I was told nothing could be done as the hotel was so busy. Plus the man just didn't look as if he wanted to try. I later enquired with Najmal and he helpfully brought us a bit closer but still quite far apart. It was very inconvenient having to change rooms late at night and especially after a long travel. We had left a note at reception to sort the problem out so that we could get the rooms closer. Pedro emphatically assured me that he would do so and leave all updates with the next staff. Later on whilst we were enjoying the sights I rang in to make sure... But there was no note of my discussion with Pedro! It then took the manageress Dana to start the enquiry from afresh! Then the toilet in the kids room got blocked. Following morning tried ringing for room service/operator for some toilet roll but no response (tried for half hour). Had to go down to reception to get this! I'm sure that the hotel will respond by saying that in the morning we are busy due to the breakfast! Still no excuse...just added to the frustration. We were finally offered two rooms next to each other just a day before departure but the children didn't want the hassle. Certainly not a 4 star experience. Better staying in a two star as you know what to expect. The shower is not strong enough too! Tbh the hotel is on par with premier Inn or travel lodge. Better off staying there as you probably get better value for money. Good service from Najmal though...and nice staff at the bar. Apart from this...£800 not well spent. Disappointed and apologies really don't solve the problems. I didn't enjoy my stay one bit as we all get together at night (on holiday) to share tea and snacks and this time nothing could be done. Don't book. Ignore the other reviews... And book the travel lodge!
M. R.
It is a comfortable place with low corporate level ambiance. So it’s familiar. No frills service from pleasant competent staff. I stay there once a month so to me it’s very familiar.

Stayed here for a show at the Apollo clean friendly nice hotel. And a good breakfast
P. H.
Didn't stay in the hotel but took my daughter to Animé-Con and she LOVED it.
L. S.
Beautiful hotel breakfasts are so plentiful beds best nights sleep
F. F. D.
Very good hotel, though the wardrobes seem small for some staying longer than say 4 days. Breakfast are excellent, well worth the £10!

Great fun with London Anime and Gaming Con! And I had fun and excitement! Thanks, Novotel!

It was good overall. The price was too high and I got ridiculously charged for a few hours of parking underneath the hotel. Not very clean hotel either.
J. G.
The room was clean. The breakfast was quite diverse. The staff were friendly and professional. The conference center was just ideal for purpose.
L. N.
Air conditioner is totally trash, not cool at all.Things are old and need to renew.totally bad hotel, don’t go
R. B.
Very comfortable Hotel with a extensive breakfast menu. Room was very comfortable staff very friendly and helpful

Only used the car park but its a ni e hotel and a great location
V. H. G.
BE AWARE: This Place has three entrances and is MASSIVE.
Staff were friendly and approachable.
k. r.
The room rate -- USD/nite

They said early check-in was avail but did not keep promise. The bath towels are like sand paper. I had to go out and buy my own. Not much service from room cleaning. I used same towels and sheets for a week. This is not a 4 Star Hotel. It's more of
M. C.
Had a lovely time in event , well organised and Novotel staff was so helpful guiding through all the way from parking to event.
S. L. R.
a bit anonymous, but okay if you are going to a business semainar. Not so good if you are going for a weekend of handy panky with your secret lover unless you are going for a boss and secretary roleplay :)
M. S.
We loved this Novotel. Great location, lovely staff, efficient service. Sofabed for 14 year old already made up when we checked in. Good extras including Nespresso machine with capsules. Will stay here again.
K. H.
Booked superior room but it was far from it..... Budget at best but at least was clean!
S. Q.
Have stayed here a lot over the years with work. Hotel is decent and rooms are nice, but have never had a good experience when leaving... There's always a problem with the car park, either the ticket doesn't work meaning you have to go back up to reception and queue (it's always busy) just to get some attitude from the staff, or the machine isn't working. Great on arrival, awful when leaving which sadly, is the impression you're left with.
C. V.
The hotel itself is huge and room is nice. Beds comfortable. Dont recommend food. Ended up complaining about 5 times. Pizza burned, salad shrivelled up, chocolate brownie tasted off and ice cream completely melted. Came on a broken plate with another plate underneath. Totally unacceptable.
B. Y.
Used this venue for car parking at Kensington Olympia. Signposting could be improved and relocating low hanging pipes.
A. A.
Overall the experience was ok... but the stay was not a pleasant one because of the water clogging in our bathroom wash basin.
R. M.
Very neat and tidy. And the staff are polite, also useful is that there is parking
It's a great hotel. Went there once for a conference, however this other visit was for my covid vaccine.
S. H.
Came here for an event so can't it as a hotel stay but can say venue was clean, great lighting, water dispensers everywhere and spacious area perfect for conventions.
C. W.
Stayed 1 night for a business trip.
Joanne at reception went above and beyond, thank you for exceptional service
m. h.
A decent hotel, good bar, good food, good price and very helpful staff.
To be fair our room was a little tired, but acceptable.
O.
The location is great just beside Hammersmith station but a bit distant from main attractions in central area. The rooms are clean but you feel it’s outdated and worth a less price.
The air condition was not working the first night so I requested a fan and it was like sleeping in an oven until they fixed it the next day.
B. G.
Worst place have ever stayed, Very rude desk boy, Charged for early check-in when told wouldn't be, Room was rubbish, Staff need retraining, Would never recommend or use again
G. S.
It's a great hotel. Went there once for a conference, however this other visit was for my covid vaccine. Very neat and tidy. And the staff are polite, also useful is that there is parking
A. G.
Very good hotel, the food is good and delicious.
The service is also good.
A. B.
If you're unable to host a Walk In covid vaccine day, you should really update it on the website and let people know ahead of time. Poor management and organisation on your part as a vaccine location.
D. H.
My favourite hotel in London. Thanks for the staying
G. G. S. 2.
Went for an event in the conference centre rooms, didn't reside there, so can't comment on the hotel rooms, sorry.
C.
Not bad, but I think my teenage children were right saying they prefer Premier Inn.
m. w.
Noise from the rooms is easily heard from next door. Needs an upgrade on the bathrooms. Bar service in the evening is slow,
P. N.
Nice hotel used Also as a covid vaccination center at the moment. I had an executive room at the 9th floor:nice and big. Lovely coffee machine with nespresso capsules. Good location right in front of hammersmith metro and bus station. the area around is not great but it is easy to move and go downtown. Also easy to reach from Heathrow.
Z. B.
London film and Gaming con, busy well run event.

Novatel London west is a place to be. I really enjoy being there. Very good hotel and their services is great.
J. A.
Good location to Eventim Apollo. Would happily return.
P. C.
Very good location close to Hammersmith Tube and bus station. My room was big compared to the room sizes in London. The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean.
K. G.
Attended the photographer's show a good visit.
L. R.
Conference meeting, well looked after by staff with provision of beverages and meals through the day
P. L.
Old fashioned but clean. Self service breakfast and plates cleared quickly.

Great hotel, good value . No real views

Love the Novahotel would recommend it 100% top notch
l. s.
Wonderful time. Friendly staff. Only issue was the wait at the bar as the staff were slow and didn't seem to know what drinks they had left or what they were doing
D. D.
Without doubt the worst customer service of any hotel, booked direct with the hotel yet they still managed to get my booking wrong then charged me more as within 3 days. The manager is totally inept. I would avoid this hotel at all cost
D. C.
Overall great experience , clean hotel.

I stayed at this hotel recently and must say it is one of the best hotels I've been too as of late. We were upgraded from our regular room to an executive suite at no extra cost. However once we got to the new room, it smelled like someone had been smoking in it, the staff was courteous enough to give us another executive suite promptly. The room came with amenities such as tv, small fridge, ironing board and espresso machine. The one downside is the bathroom which I felt could have been designed a little more practically as they went for a minimalistic modern design. The water quality is great and appears soft which is good. Complimentary breakfast was awesome.
D. W.
Had to book in urgently due to a family emergency, really helpful staff, nice room, Covid measures good, great nights sleep and a really good breakfast.
L. N.
Attended a work function...nice place but extortionate food prices..sandwich..soft drink..£8..
A. B.
If you have not been here before reception is on the first floor
There is parking below the hotel on a first come basis,
The hotel itself, while it could do with a refresh as a bit worn in areas, is quite nice, very clean and reasonably well laid out
Rooms a quite basic and again a bit tired and worn but very clean.
The hotel is surprisingly quiet, very good soundproofing and beds comfortable
Buffet breakfast was well stocked and hot, coffee was good.
Bar was poorly stocked but Competivly priced and well staffed
Cons
Air con in room didn't cool
Electric tripped out three times during a one night stay
Lack of signage and staff on reception.
Would have liked to have given five stars but the electric in the room niggles as does the very worn appearances of a lot of the hotel
S. e.
Very friendly and very nice staff, the breakfast had a large selection of food, but some were a little oily. The room was clean and very tidy. In spite of the bathroom ventilator was not working and almost falling down. The common parts of the hotel were not so clean, we had a vacuum cleaner on our door step for 4 days. Also the dinner buffet was good quality/price relation. Excelent was the staff that was attentive, very nice, very friendly, competent, always trying to help and trying to improve our stay in every way.
D. B.
Went for anime con, was a lovely hotel
d. r.
So bizarrely ibis earl court is very popular among Chinese visitors...when it's one of the inferior accor hotel in earl court. The novotel is far superior and right next to Hammersmith tube station. I got upgraded to junior suite and it's a really good hotel. Most important it's quiet, comfortable and convenient. Very well connected to rest of londonn via Hammersmith station aswell!
J. R.
Amaizing hotel, nice and clean rooms, beautiful outside terrace. All staff are friendly and professional.
K. R.
A reasonable London Hotel nice room friendly staff food ok.
A. U.
Fantastic staff good clean room will return
I. R.
Rooms fine. Typical modern hotel. Has recently been recarpeted. Decent sized bathroom. Solid double bed. Excellent breakfast in large restaurant, with plenty of tables.
Check in process is however a nightmare at weekends, when an event is on locally. They adhere to a strict 'not before 2pm' policy for check in, so there is a longish queue plus phone calls to check for room readiness. Advice is to go for a decent lunch (plenty of good eateries nearby) and check in around 3:30 once the rush has cleared.
G. D.
Nice and quiet, friendly staff, attentive service. Excellent location walking distance to shopping, buses and underground.
M. B.
Every morning there is an air show of commercial airplanes going on always but best seen at dawn break from a 9th floor window on the road facing side. There are 78 rooms on each floor from 3rd floor up to 9th floor. Wonderful and modern decor. Food is good. Breakfast is also nice. Staff is courteous. Wifi is decent.
O. O.
Huge hotel, which led to a very long walk to elevators. Staff very friendly snd efficient. Excellent breakfast selection. The restaurant has fantastic food! Loved the chicken carbonara, fish & chips, etc. Loved it do much, ate dinner there twice.
L. L.
We stayed here when attending a gig at the Hammersmith Apollo. The hotel is ideally situated for this and is an easy walk to the venue and all the surrounding bars and restaurants. The reception / foyer is nicely set out and there is a bar and a couple of restaurants available. We used the bar and I was impressed with the beer selection (for a hotel at least). The room was fine with no issues - it was comfortable and everything worked. All in all very satisfactory. We used the parking under the hotel and this was convenient and reasonably priced for the area.
E. H.
Only used the parking as we were going to the Apollo, no problems what so ever.
R. N.
Great place! Good breakfast and clean hotel rooms/lobby. My family friends and I were able to leave our luggages while we roamed around the city before check in time. I personally had an issue with my leg and stayed behind. Much of the staff specifically Jovel from the registration angelica from Aroma and another lady were very accommodating. One negative is the Night supervisor. Very insulting towards me and my discomfort with my leg. The room was not properly cleaned.
The bed was made but the rest untouched. Other than that the hotel was great. Highly recommended.
D. R.
At first, the hotel is really close to the underground and the bus station, too. So you can travel easy to it and to the other part of London. When you gettin to the reception, you got all information meanwhile a proper but short check in, so you can go to the room super fast prepared for the stay. The room is clean and pretty, full of space for leisure. After a long day you can rest in the most comfy bed in the world! The other day is beginning with a delicious and various breakfast, look at the pic :) the staff is helpful and kind, all the time, even if its morning, afternoon or evening. I am definetely coming back soon! Mainly to see how its gonna look like after the renewing :) Five star for the whole hotel and team, and special thanks to Mihaela for the check in and Alicija for the welcome !!
D. J.
Comfortable Hotel. Well appointed rooms with plenty of space. Excellent breakfast and on site Al a Cart Artisan restaurant was very good. On site bar also nice to relax in. Check in staff and porters are all very friendly as was Comos staff for tours on site. The only slight improvement they could make is to upgrade the carpets in the hallway and rooms as they are worn.
Overall worthwhile staying here.
H. B.
Although the hotel public areas are spacious and personal is friendly, the advantages end here. Everything feels very cheap and old, bathroom sink stinks, the water pressure in the shower is annoyingly low. There are just 2 little water bottles in the minibar. Room carpets are full of stains. We even had stains on the sheets. Both the food quality and variety are just average.
With that, the prices are still very high. Would not recommend!

We and our guests are always happy to stay at Novotel London West. We have been living in this hotel since 2009. It's great. Many thanks to the hotel team for wonderful stays in London!
R. P.
Stayed here for a night at the end of July. Although the staff at check in were friendly, it took me almost 20 minutes to check in as the receptionist walked out the back to check the systems. A mouse ran through reception and the bar area as I was waiting to check in and was chased by another member of staff. The hotel boasts Aircon in the rooms but this made no difference as the rooms are so warm and you cannot open the windows. Room was a good size, comfortable and was well equipped with a sage, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and a safe. Although rooms were nice, the mouse by the restaurant has put me off staying here again
A. L.
I stayed in Novotel London West for a few days and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was an incredible experience.
Particular thanks go to Mihaela and Alicja who prepared our room and really went above and beyond. The rooms are modern and the location is great. Breakfast had a huge selection and Miruna was very welcome such as Cristina from the bar. Highly recommended!! Thank you for making our time in London so enjoyable

Location, entrance and reception are all fantastic, the resteraunt seating looks tired. We had a family room which was very dated and although clean was certainly not what you would expect when looking at the rest of the hotel. The cooked breakfast selection was good with various types of items on offer but the scrambled egg, baked beans were well over done and had a crust, and the half a tomato had barely seen any heat. The pastry selection was very good, and cereals ok. It would have been nice if the orange juice was fresh. Overall only half as good as I would expect from a Novotel.
M. C.
Very good location. They took long to find my booking. Although I must say the Guest Relation manager is very friendly and warm welcoming. Free Wifi with good net speed when I needed to do quick job away from home country. Good variety of breakfast but be there for very early. I would recommend to other travellers.

I am extremely satisfied on my Stay. Hotel is ideally located. I am also Thankful for staff at Novotel London West for the service they extended during our 3 night stay at this hotel, especially thank you to Lorena from reception, she helped us with everything! Last but not least appreciate Lovely Breakfast with Wide choice to keep you going. I would definitely stay once again next time visit.

Welcomed immediately, to be told that as guests of the day, we were being upgraded, as well as being given complimentary breakfasts and an evening drink! The hotel is sparkling inside, and very spacious. Service throughout was polite and attentive, the room was quiet, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and cooked perfectly. All the staff could not do enough for us. What is not to like?! The environmental controls in the room were responsive, the tv and wi-fi worked, and the bed gave us a great nights' sleep.
s. S.
Overpriced and not very nice. Hotel staff never smiles, rooms are small, carpets are dirty and cleaning personnel forgets to bring new toiletries every day. Safe box door is always left open for you to hit your knee. Working desk is microscopic. Electrical sockets need to be International - why can’t they simply install universal ones so you dont have to deal with the adapters? There are no USB charging outlets in the room. There are no electric sockets in the bathroom so you need to charge your shaver and toothbrush in the room. Mattress is probably decades old. I wish I could avoid staying here....
T. S.
Lovely stay at the hotel the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we was extremely disappointed on arrival to find out that the on site parking is £3.50 per hour for staying guests. This was confirmed by reception. So after paying £128.00 for the room and then expected to pay at least £70.00 for one nights parking is discraseful, the parking price was not stated on the website when booked. Breakfast was impressive. This is a lovely place to stay as long you arnt travelling by car.
V. H. G.
Very nice hotel, I enjoyed a few days in London and I was very happy to sleep in their bed. So comfortable ! I loved breakfast, I ate for the first time pancakes with chocolate, that was delicious !!! Thank you Novotel,. <3
T. B.
Room is very dated, the pillows have seen better days, amenities such as the shower does not work properly - the dial was stuck and took a long time to turn on the shower. Housekeeping is absolutely horrendous - my room was not made the second day when I came back at 10pm, and I did not leave the DND sign on the door. That was enough to make me pack my bags the same night and find a different place to stay. Not what I expect from Novotel at all.
T. D.
Was there for my covid vaccination , and having to walk with a stick was helped by a lovely young lady every step of my visit. The set up was also extremely well organised and spotlessly clean.
M. C.
The people who work here are first rate. So very friendly and helpful. Always ready with a smile, these lovely people greeted our children and us. A gift pack for the kids guaranteed that they were occupied whilst we got settled. Breakfast is until 10:30 and is excellently varied. I even mixed and matched with bacon, pancakes and maple syrup! Rooms are clean, admittedly not huge but you have everything you need. Overall I would be happy to recommend this hotel.
A. S.
A little confused at first trying to get in as the old side steps were boarded off for building works on an adjacent site. The hotel itself was good as usual. I was impressed with the check in team, despite a large conference party checking in when I arrived they were quick, pleasant and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable and the air con worked well. Breakfast was lovely and again, despite the large volumes of diners caused by the conference the waiting time was kept to a minimum, tables were cleared quickly and fresh food on a constant supply. Overall a very pleasant stay.
M. S.
Air-conditioning doesn’t work, rooms a ‘worn’, food substandard. The walk from the lift to my room takes about 5 minutes too, the layout is very poor. I had to pull apart the sliding doors to enter last night to cap it all off. I will not stay here again.
Previously I complained about the air-con and cancelled my second night stay. I asked the duty manager to ensure my bill reflected the cancellation ‘why bother, your company pay for this’ was his reply. I should never had rebooked this place.
Just don’t!

Let me start by saying I would stay here again. The proximity to the Hammersmith station was great. I chose this hotel specifically because of the price and the location. We took the Underground everywhere and it was very convenient. The room was nice and pretty clean. My only complaint is similar to others. The AC is terrible. It was set at 5 C and it never got cool enough in the room. We were there when the temps hit near 34C/92F but sleeping was very difficult for all of us.

Used car park for event at Hammersmith paid £20 from 7pm-11pm

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay in the hotel. The staff were excellent. Very professional but also very welcoming. I would like to mention in particular the receptionist on arrival (c.11.30 am) and the Bar Manager and waitress who dealt with us for an early lunch (12 pm) on Saturday, the 13th. First impressions are very important and they were great ambassadors for your hotel. The room was the biggest disappointment. The off-white/cream coloured sheets and pillows just look like they are old (even if they aren't) and the TV selection/lack of movies made it difficult sometimes to keep young children amused for the periods that we were in the hotel. The low hanging ceiling (8th floor) in the corridor is also quite oppressive and doesn't look or feel good. There is a huge disparity between the standard of decor in the lobby (4 star) and the standard of decor in the floor corridors and rooms (2-3 stars). I would mention that while the rooms were disappointing, the housekeeping was very good. The quality of the food was also very good and the selection at breakfast is excellent.

I checked in online, collect my room key only to discover that someone else had already been issued that room. So we had to be moved. We got a free drink as compensation. Our room was supposed to have complimentary water, slippers and robes, but didn't; we didn't want them so it was fine. Just the attention to detail would have been appreciated. The toilet system has air bubbles somewhere and we had whiffs of sulphur coming up all weekend. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, assuming because other guests were using taps too. Power shower fixed this problem at home, but I have no idea how it would work with hotels. The on-all-the-time hall way lighting is wasteful and annoying, I'd love if the hotel could fit motion sensors so that when lighting isn't needed, they are turned off. I'd also would have liked to be able to turn off the coffee machine, it had two flashing LED lights that I finally had to block with tea sachets because they were so irritating. Me and my partner are disabled and we would have really loved if there'd been on site parking for us, but due to the high number of disabled people that attend the convention we would probably not get a space. The rooms on one side of the hotel - Bouzy, Epernay, Reims and Chalon all got really warm this year and I had to leave one panel because it was so warm. The rest of the hotel seemed nicely air conditioned, so I'm not sure what happened in these rooms. The breakfasts are great, only issue was that I wanted apple juice on days 1, 2 and 4, but there wasn't any out. There was a lot of grapefruit juice though. I asked on day 2 if I could have some sent to my table and the waiter assured me that it was in the buffet, it wasn't. I didn't get the chance to ask about it again. It is a nice hotel, we have been twice now and enjoy the space. The staff are lovely and so helpful. I really loved their costumes for the convention too, it was really fun.
A. K.
Courteous staff and check-in process was quick. Rooms were clean and ample amenities (in-room safe, water, ironing option) for a business visit. A good movable desk to work, comfy beds, room service was efficient. Minor issue was after check-in there seemed to be an assumption that customer would know, although I had to figure out where the lifts were. Breakfast was British style and options were great. I liked the vegetarian sausages but the hash browns were a bit oily. Access to Gym on the 1st floor with a tread-mill was perfect for some indoor running on a rainy day.

Novotel London West is a beautiful luxurious hotel well located next to the Hammersmith underground station (3 minutes walking)
The staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were pretty well welcomed and even upgraded.
The executive premium rooms are fully comfortable, equipped, and clean. The early-morning breakfasts are abundant and rich of tastes. We thank all the Novotel London West staff and especially Izan for our amazing weekend. We hope to come back soon !

Whether you choose our 4-star hotel for business or leisure, Novotel London West is the perfect place to stay for comfort and location. Situated in the bustling heart of Hammersmith West London, discover the amazing sights the capital has to offer thanks to the nearby by tube station. Whatever your reason for staying - whether it's a weekend city break, family holiday or business trip - you can be confident that we have the perfect room or event space for you.
Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are within both walking distance, while the popular venues of Earl's Court and Olympia are close by too. The Thames river also offers some great riverside pubs, all within a five minute walk of the hotel. The Novotel London West has excellent meeting and event facilities, and is able to accommodate events from 1,000 person conventions to wedding banquets.
This hotel has everything you could want - warm and friendly staff at Reception who really do bend over backwards to help, housekeeping staff who want to make sure that everything is as it should be for guests, and fantastic restaurant and bar staff. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the gym looks great - but I didn't use it. The food quality in the restaurant is superb and the wine cellar has some very interesting choices. The location is perfect for heading in to central London by tube, taxi or bus, and the huge shopping complex at Shepherds Bush is just a few minutes away. Hammersmith itself is buzzing and there are some fantastic shops bars and restaurants in King Street, just a short walk from the Hotel. All in all, the Novotel ticks all the boxes.

Services were good. Breakfast great as always. Reception area gives a sense of high level of cleanliness of property however once you get into the accommodation floors, the carpets in the general walkway and rooms lets the property down. Definitely requires replacement. Bathroom water had a strange smell.
However Customer service was really good. Customer service lady (Lucia) was excellent at helping resolve issues with invoicing etc.
Y. J.
Staff very good indeed. Reception and everything on first floor is very high quality. The rest of the hotel is dated - when the lift doors open to the floors it's like a different hotel. Old, stale smell on the floor we were on (3rd). Room a nice size.
Breakfast was poor. We went for full English as not much choice for the cost. Scrambled eggs were inedible slop and baked beans were sweet. Rest ok. Pot of tea was cold so we asked for hot water twice, which never came.
R. C.
Very big hotel and was very busy during my stay. Room was a good size for 1 person and was clean to a high standard daily, the room also had a mini fridge, a kettle and iron and iron board. Staff were friendly and professional. Wait 30 minutes to get served at the bar and felt the breakfast was expenses hence not giving this hotel 5 stars.
S. S.
This is my third trip in London, staying at a different hotel each time and by far this has been the best value. For the price, I wouldn't be able to ask for more. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere - more family friendly than strict business, clean room and decent food. Both my wife and I are hugely satisfied, and will definitely come back for any future trips in London.
D. O.
Smooth, friendly check-in. Receptionist was very helpful, she found us a room with a view and close to the elevators (when requested). Room was comfortable. Bar staff were very professional and friendly as were restaurant staff. Restaurant dining was good, breakfast was adequate. Location is great (close to tube and bus stops), convenient shops in Hammersmith Tube Station and about 40 minutes (depending on traffic) from Heathrow. Overall, would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Very nice room. Good size. Very close to subway. The only issue is that my room had bags in it when I arrived. This was concerning and the front desk stated that they were left. Who leaves their suitcases and backpacks? They removed them, but it did not make sense.
S. Q.
Amazing stay and lovely staff. Rooms always perfectly cleaned. Excellent breakfasts included.
Perfect location to visit London. We stayed
3 nights in an executive room and absolutely no problem, except the lifts : 2 of them were out of order... A bit long to go up to the 9th floor.
Thanks to Novotel for the service, we'll come back !
D. p.
Location is excellent, 2 minutes walk from the tube and buses are everywhere, but the hotel itself could be better. Rooms and amenities like towels are not very clean. Water pressure in shower is a little weak to my liking. Always busy and only a few of the many reception desks are attended so checking in and out or any enquiry would have to wait.
J. Y.
Pretty good and I would certainly use again. Very convenient for the Apollo and car parking a bonus. Room for improvement would be to clearly sign the way to reception. I only stayed one night and ended up directing two newly arrived guests who were clearly lost.
S. B.
Good - Air conditioning, breakfast choice, size of room (a twin), perfect location for my purposes. Check in staff were reasonably friendly.
Could have been better: Choice of room dining wasn't great (particularly for a vegetarian), room facilities were generally average when considering the amount paid for this one night stay - e.g. only decaffeinated coffee, only two biscuits, cheap toilet paper, limited toiletries. To be honest, I have stayed in rooms with better facilities in budget hotels (e.g. Travelodge). Staff - housekeeping staff seemed not to even recognize the presence of guests, the restaurant staff at breakfast weren't unpleasant but no-one explained the breakfast choices available - I was just sat quickly and left after an order of coffee was hurriedly taken.
Overall, if I had been paying £50 - £70 for the night I probably would have been satisfied but for the amount charged I expected much much more.
A. S.
beautiful, and super big...
the elevators take forever to arrive (there are so many floors), so I typically took staircases to get to where I wanted to go. one of the staircases took me to the delivery center??? it led to a super sketchy and smelly part of the hotel and totally contrasted with the beautiful inside. good thing there were workers outside though, I would not have made it back inside by myself as the staircase doors seem to lock once you go past them???
the breakfast was amazing--large selection including pancakes and some other foods not usually served in cheaper four star hotels.
and the beds are absolutely AMAZING!!! the only hotel during my stay in London that actually gave me a full night's sleep and also felt like my bed at home.
besides that, the only thing i would say they need to improve is the "do not disturb/need cleaning service" door sign... the sign is double sided and easily turned over; we placed it on the "do not disturb" side and our room was still cleaned up. not exactly a bad thing but not something that we wanted.
I. S.
I could spend an hour writing a review but I'm sure you would need to see how nice it is for yourself!
Room comes with Bose Bluetooth speaker, TV, fridge, amazing views over London all the way the the eye! Great staff! A short walk from lots of shopping, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Not hard to get to either! Gym on site, plenty of space to go read a book in the outdoor areas and more!
E. S.
Our experience was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and all the required features were provided with.
Only complaint was that the carpet seemed a little old and dusty when we first went in to the room. (not a big problem as after cleaning by room service, it was clean)
The bathroom was very clean.
The breakfast buffet was just fabulous. We loved the variety and the fact that you provided lots of options for vegetarians.
The location was also excellent as the hammersmith metro and a bus stop are short walks from the hotel. Also, supermarkets like tesco and sainsbury are very close. So are malls like the Kings Mall.
R. S.
The staff was really nice and helpfull, especially Serena who was very welcoming! When booking, we asked for a ”quiet room with a view”, which was fulfilled. We did neither hear neighbors nor traffic/construction work from neighboring site. The room was clean and in a modern design. The beds were quite firm (almost too firm) and the linens were made of simple unbleached cotton, which might be a deliberately environmental thought. However, I would have appreciated more soft linens but not exchanged during our three night stay to save the environment by less laundry. The breakfast was great with lots of varieties, both hot and cold, fresh bread and fruit (the oranges and grapefruit were filleted!). Even though there were a lot of guests at breakfast time (we stayed part of Easter holiday) the service was very good and the breakfast went well. The tube was just about one block away, or five min walk, and at the same place you could find a Tesco grocery store. We enjoyed our stay at Novotel, everything was fine. However, we are not used to stay at as good as four star hotels.
F. D.
Seamless check in, helpful and friendly staff after a long trip was welcome! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only minus I would give the room was all the flashing lights from all the gadgets in the rooms - coffee machine, TV, alarm clock etc. all flash so if you are sensitive to this give it some thought. Easy to remedy though as the plug were all accessible! Overall a good stay.
S. S.
The hotel was clean, rooms large, staff friendly and helpful, location perfect. The choice at the breakfast buffet was outstanding. I was very impressed by the hotel's contribution to saving the environment by not bleaching the sheets. I think the only things which could possibly be improved would be soundproofing the rooms - you can hear your neighbours quite clearly, which can be annoying (but luckily wasn't a problem for us) - and maybe make the curtains a little thicker as the room got light very early in the morning.
J. R.
The conference centre has been turned into a CoVID Vaccination centre. It is very well organised, and hardly any queues. A good place to go to if you can get to ot
A. A.
Very very poor. The price of the room you would of expected a lot higher quality. The rooms small, no free water, the floors looked thread bear. Came back in the evening to find out no glasses, ice for drinks. Toilets are the bar full of sick and disgusting. I would say at best this is like a Travel lodge and a low end one.
L.
Very nice 1 night stay. Very good breakfast, Always topped up. Rooms clean and tidy. Although only a plug on 1 side of the bed, and this plug did not work properly. Plenty of other plugs around the room. 2 hairdryers to choose from. And good shower gel and shampoo provided. Nice late check out time. Overall a very relaxing experience.

Great location for Appollo, reasonably priced and excellent breakfast
L. B.
This place is hit and miss. When I checked in earlier today, the reception staff said they didn’t have a reservation for me despite sending me a text confirming my reservation earlier in the day. It tries to feel like a W hotel but misses the mark. I tried the traditional fish and chips for dinner but all I could taste of the fish was the floury batter. Service was average at best.
D. M.
Probably Hammersmith's best hotel. I was working here, in a conference room, not staying as a resident. The lunchtime buffet in the Aroma restaurant is excellent, with a different carved meat roast available each day along with many other choices. Recommended - unless you want some specific exotic foreign dishes (unfortunately my colleagues did, which was not fair on the restaurant).
S. M.
Getting a bit dated, everything looking like it's due a refurbishment. But rooms are comfortable and quiet. Great breakfast, but most of the staff seemed like they couldn't really be bothered so not great service.
J. C.
Rooms very comfortable, staff excellent. Stayed for a convention and the staff really threw themselves into it and were generally quite brilliant.
I ate in the Lounge Bar which had a fairly limited menu but the food was good. Had Thai curry - not overly spicy, but very tasty (though my companion felt there were too many mushrooms). We could order drinks at our table which was very nice - shame there were no real ales, unless you count John Smith's...
Didn't try the main restaurant so can't comment on that.
C. M.
This is honestly one of the worst Novotels I've stayed at. Staff is not as friendly as they used to be. Cleanliness of the room is just unbelievable. Weird smell comes out from the sink whenever the tap is running. (I've stayed at a couple different rooms before and it's always the case.). Towels are old. Stains on bedsheets. Hair was found in bathtubs. They didn't even bother removing the tissue paper wrapped around the hairdryer as they cleaned the bathroom... The only reason why any guest should be still staying at this property has got to be its convenient location. The hotel itself? It's really more like a motel.
J. H.
Very Pleasantly surprised. It was just a stop over before our flight the next day. Only stayed because we used some points but the 1st floor was fantastic. The Restaurant where we had dinner & breakfast the next morning which was very good. The bar where you gave us a welcoming drink & there was even a gym but we didn't use that. I love a modern hotel.
J. L.
Very nice hotel, personnel were very gracious and helpful. Strange to us about not having washcloths and not having bath mat (or strips in tub which was very high sided) But the breakfast buffet was very good. Had a little hard time finding the hotel when we left to take the tube on May 14-15 but did better on May 26. Some confusion as I recall about opening window, said there were restrictions so hot in the room first night but okay with window opened (evidently by staff) the second night.

Pros
Good location
Affordable prices
Cons
Breakfast wasn’t great
L. P.
We stay at this hotel around this time every year either for one or two nights. This is due to Olympia horse show and this hotel is literally a ten minute walk from there. The hotel is clean and tidy with friendly staff who are always willing to help you. They offer a superb breakfast which can be either a full English or a continental. You can park on site and in all fairness the cost is reasonable for London. In my opinion i feel that it is better than a premier inn and you are valued more as a customer than a business person! This is a true hotel rather than a 'motel.' I would recommend staying here and as with most things in London, the underground is just down the road in case you wish to go sight seeing!!
S. R.
Room was clean however the sharp screws for the door pretrued out of the frame
L. W.
Ordered a drink an hour ago... still waiting
Eventually, we did get our drinks, and they were comped. The food in the Artisan (ate their twice) was excellent. Room I stayed in this time was a bit dated and bathroom in need of upgrade, executive rooms are nicer. Staff in general are friendly and helpful... I think we just caught them on a really busy night.
L. P.
Food was OK, not terrible but not great. Rooms were perfectly adequate and is typical -- comfortably handles two adults. There is a nice social area on the first floor which had extremely nice staff who were very helpful. Also, we went to a very good sushi place that was about a block away.
It's a little far from the City, so you probably wouldn't want to walk out, but there are plenty of buses and taxis in the area.
Would recommend.
P. M.
We run a 3 day Training Programme - overall the hotel is great. Fantastic Events Staff (Alicja). Most of the meeting rooms a very good, apart from the rooms with no daylight, Bourg especially, as not only no daylight, but very low ceilings, and very dim lighting.
Catering was excellent, throughout the event.
Bedrooms and corridors are in need of refurbishment, but clean and functional. This would be the only reason why we wouldn't return.
Location is great for transport links.
I. B.
The staff at check-in were very helpful as we had 2 reservations which they sorted so we could stay in 1 room rather than moving. The room itself was a decent size and the bed was very comfy, however our room was on the side of the hotel overlooking the very busy dual carriage way which could trouble light sleepers (especially the sirens) but we were mostly too tired to notice. We had an issue with the plumbing that was sorted by the time we returned to the room the first day , however cleaning staff etc around the hotel seemed to mumble/ignore guests in the corridors. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, again staff here are hit and miss- the greeters are very friendly but it depends who you get for the rest of the time, some are efficient and friendly, others aren't. We found the lifts to be an issue- reception being on the first floor sometimes meant it was quicker to get in a lift and go down and back up rather than wait to just go up, a bit quirky really. Overall this hotel has its pros and cons but if you want a comfy bed and a decent breakfast to set you up for a day at a convention at the Olympia (a 10 minute walk down the road)- like we did, then this should be just fine.
L. L.
Very nice rooms, liked having a fridge. Comfortable firm bed and hotel staff friendly. Was very happy that our checkout time was extended a couple of hours as it gave a chance to freshen up for our 10 PM flight home. Only downside was our first night at the Buffet restaurant, choice of meals wasn't great and a bit dried out, also to our dismay we overheard the manager telling staff if people go back and fill their plate charge them extra, and sure enough we were asked how many plates did we have, as it was we only had one each as the food was only average, but this is not what a "Buffet" restaurant should be doing as people will get annoyed at being deceived, suffice to say we found other eateries outside the hotel for the rest of our stay.
S. M.
Wildly overpriced. Walls are thin as paper so if you want a good night sleep, bring earplugs. Many of the rooms are a long walk from the lifts. If you are disabled, make sure to request a room closer to the lifts. Overall the service was pleasant and rooms clean. The best feature was probably the bed - surprisingly comfortable for a hotel bed. Worst part: cleaners walking in on my morning shower. Latch the door when you're in the room.
M. K. A.
I enjoyed my stay there, Staff were very helpful and friendly and corrected any problems i had. Room's were relatively basic but very pleasurable to stay in and clean. Beds / Sofa Beds were also comfy. The location is in a great location if you are visiting the Olypmia Exhibition Centre as it is very close (About a 10 minute walk 0.5 miles) and theres a wp minute walk or short cab journey to the nearest westfield. The Breakfast was exclellent (all you can eat with plenty of variety) and the Artisan Grill also serves amazing food. Overall i would highly recommend staying there and i would go back again.

Really nice hotel and the management are lovely

Tried their desserts on a wedding. must say love it.

Nice and clean Hotel in a good location. Staff were very helpful.
Superior room was decent size and comfortable beds.
One thing if you want to improve is the shower. No matter what you do with the control, the temperature of water remained steady , occasionally getting hotter. But, this is a minor inconvenience in the overall experience.
Thank you.
K. R.
Great hotel and location next to the Excel Centre. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and accomodating. The views from the bars balcony were great especially on a nice evening. Gym facilities are basic but great for a mini workout and the sauna/steam room are an added bonus (the only drawback is its on the eight floor and not too well used so can feel a bit isolated). I'd stay again.
R. P.
When we arrived we were greeted by Serena who was polite and very hel0ful. The hotel was clean and well presented, and we easily found our room, which was clean and fresh looking with everything we needed for our short stay. On returning late back in the evening from a concert, after the restaurants had closed the bar staff couldn't have been more helpful supplying my very hungry and thirsty daugthers with crisps and lemonade. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fresh.
The only negative part of our stay was being woken up at around 9am ( after a very late night out at a concert) by our door being opened by the maid, who quickly apologised and left, but we felt we had better get up as it seemed they were waiting to clean our room.
D. W.
Check in was easy and the lady was very helpful.. our room was on the 7th floor, clean and spacious.. with a large comfy bed.
Our 2 nights included breakfast which was delicious.. so many choices! Great coffee too!
On the 2nd day of our stay it was my birthday.. I had cards to open from friends and family which I put up in the room, on return from a day out I found a beautiful birthday cake had been left for me!.. fantastic touch which was really appreciated!
I will definitely stay again .. the locality near to the tube stations is great! .. Hitel is definitely recommended.
P. L.
Stayed here recently for 4 nights, updated to an executive room on the ninth floor. Everything was great; clean bathroom, comfortable bed, windows that open and actually quite a large room. We didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment. Staff were pleasant and professional. All in all a great visit and would stay again.
W. B.
Decent location, very dated, staff hit or miss. We stayed on the 8th floor, having just gotten engaged. Our initial receptionist, Serena, was quite pleasant. Our room ended up being very small, smelled very stale, and was dated/old with dirty rug and corridors. Lights also made loud humming noise.
Talked to another receptionist and she was very disinterested. Not very pleasant and didn't really seem like she made much of an effort. We were able to swap rooms after waiting in our room for help for a good while, but the second room was the same as the first...
I'd recommend just paying a bit more for a nicer stay at another hotel.
G. F.
The hotel is at a great location, near the Hammersmith station. The reception and the bar of the hotel is very modern and new. You get a nice selection of food to choose from for breakfast. However the rooms would require some redecoration and improvements. It's ok if you are staying for one night, however personally I like to stay at a nicer room when spend more days in town.
p. m.
Extremely pleasant stay, immaculately clean, lovely and helpful reception staff, great food from the bar/restaurant. A very enjoyable stay indeed. Just surprised to pay for parking (although at a reduced rate of £1.50 per hour!) plus 'service charge' automatically added onto food bill - but I guess that's just London's exploitative nature! Great Hotel though, I would love to return one day.

Almost got 2 stars.
Really long check-in wait having to abandon the Priority Queue. I asked and was told that Priority check-in was not available because the front desk was too busy! This makes no sense. Whenever that becomes the case (it never should) remove the cardboard sign that indicates a priority service for Accor members is available.
We were off to a bad start and it did not improve when I found my room. The room was hot and the the air cooling device wouldn't switch on. Down to reception immediately, just 5 mins after check-in, but I sensed I was being doubted when I mentioned the fault; in general I feel there is a prickly edge to the staff when things are not running to routine.
Rooms are big but dated. The bathroom is what might be expected from a more budget member of the Accor family. I don't mind the towels being off-white (they do not bleach them and that is a good thing), however when they have not been pressed/ironed and are hanging wrinkled off the towel rail it makes you wonder whether they have been changed since the last guest. They smelled clean, which confirms they had been properly laundered - but there should have been no doubt!
Breakfast box was disappointing as was the staff help when I asked if I could request items for the morning. Again a slightly prickly attitude because the box is the box and there should be no changes. I asked if it would be possible to have a piece of fruit a bottle of water and a bacon sandwich (or ham sandwich if bacon was not possible). This is what I receive from the Leeds Novotel when I need to get away early - I was told the box came with fruit and a fruit juice and some yoghurt and a bar. So rather than attempt to accommodate (I am paying a lot of money for this box after all!) they just repeated the "standard" contents. Out of ordinary is a problem for this hotel. If the content of the box is fixed, I asked if it would be possible to nip in to the buffet at 06:00 and quickly make up a bacon sandwich for myself? I received a reluctant "yes". In the morning, the staff at reception and the staff at the buffet questioned why I would want to do this - since I already have "The Box". The lady standing at the buffet clarified that if I take "The Box" then I would NOT ordinarily be entitled to enter the breakfast area . So here I am - the guest - feeling that I am asking too much of this hotel: a bacon sandwich "to go" in the morning! So after an awkwardness that should never happen and after feeling the prickles from the staff, I was allowed to make up a quick bacon roll. There was a kind chef who overheard and offered to get me a hot black coffee to go, a bonus - promote this man before you lose him.
All in all I feel this hotel is damaging the Novotel brand. I have stayed in Novotel hotels many times, in London, across the UK and overseas. I know what good is - and the Novotel London West fails to meet it.
The check-out staff didn't ask how the stay had been, either they were not interested or they could probably guess it had not been an Accor Gold experience.
S. M.
The room served us well. The Parents bed was very comfortable and the kids bed were also big and comfortable. The breakfast offer was very big and yummy ;).
For the city trip we had, the hotel was just right.
M. Q.
Easy check-in process and friendly front of house staff; clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed and plenty of amenities - good hairdryer, coffee machine and wide range of toiletries; pleasant bar area with good selection of wines and spirits - lovely bar staff with good product knowledge; tasty breakfast with good options for food and drink; easy check-out process with email invoice which is helpful.
Only a couple of negative points - the shower temperature was very temperamental and ranged from scalding to very cold. Also, the access and egress situation is a bit confusing due to work being carried out at the hotel.
Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money.

This hotel is very nice. The hall and the dining area are beautiful. The buffet breakfast includes a wide range of food, from sweet to savoury. The rooms are clean and the hospitality is great. It's just minutes away from the underground station and the bus station. There's even a little shop and food court close by. I totally recommend it.
T. M.
Comfortable and spacious room, well equipped. Much better than other hotels in the area. Friendly staff. Nothing to complain about, though the shower could be better: It was difficult to control water temperature. My room did not have a city view but it didn't matter.
O. B.
Had to make a last minute reservation and from the gentleman who took my reservation at 20.00, to the receptionists when I arrived slightly frazzled at 21.30 I was happy with the service. Comfortable, clean room with excellent facilities. Also worked there and the meeting rooms are comfortable and well equipped - tic tac mints mmm - a very positive experience. Oh, and the food is lovely too.
M. B.
Stayed here through work. I was lucky enough to be on the 9th floor in an executive room. The room facilities were great. These included a bose wireless speaker, nespresso coffee machine, steam iron and lcd tv. The shower pressure wasn't great on either the waterfall shower or normal one and filling up the iron was difficult as it was wired to the ironing board with a small hole to fill it up. Also the toilet paper was more like tracing paper. These are fairly minor critisisms but nonetheless caused some inconvenience. The room was clean, quiet (despite being besides the hammersmith flyover), and clean. I would recommend this hotel.

I have always used Novotel as a preferred choice, even after their acquisition by Accor. The rooms in this particular hotel are always tidy (their maid service is impeccable), their staff are always friendly and helpful, and the location is pitch-perfect. They may be a bit steep with their prices but that makes up for the hotel's location. This also comes with free wi-fi and breakfast as standard. This is always a great place to stay at.

I first stayed in this hotel when it was The Cunard. That was in 1978 and although I miss the large model ships that used to decorate the hotel, I was still impressed by the service and the overall ambiance of the hotel. Living overseas the hotel is extremely convenient for both Heathrow and Central London. My daughter greatly enjoyed playing the piano and the free breakfast buffet for her was also greatly appreciated. I have no criticisms, just one suggestion - please ensure there is a set of scales for guests to weigh their luggage before departing for the airport. Overall a wonderful hotel that is staffed by wonderful people. Thank you.

Loved the room, bed, pillows, coffee maker and speaker. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Food, wine and service were excellent. Loved having use of the Virgin gym and pool next door for a very reasonable £5 per day. Will definitely be back.

The stay was ok, food very average, parking costs were 50% more than led to believe £171 for 4 days, carpets were dirty, toilet in room 8002 continuously overflowing, there are much better value hotel around. Will not be staying at this one again, the location was perfect,

All of the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from two underground train (tube) stations with frequent services to most parts of the city, plus there is a bus station nearby, so getting around is …

This was my third or fourth time staying here on a business trip. I always feel comfortable and familiar with my surroundings but wish the construction work would be over with as entrances and smoking areas change every time I stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast offers sufficient variety for my liking. Minor things went wrong such as my first room having not yet been cleaned when I came in (remedied proactively within minutes without my needing to say anything), my safe in the 2nd room was not working at first but again this was fixed very quickly. I can't really fault much overall and it will always be my first choice when traveling to London.
O.
Good secure parking, nice room, good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. The room was cold due to a/con only blowing cool air, but after calling reception a thick doona to stay warm with was quickly sent up.
W. G.
I loved the check in done by Johanne who was the front of house office manager she was super friendly. One colleague next to her who's name was Domitille was very friendly and professional and she advised me on local areas where me and my boyfriend could go for dinner. I would definitely be visiting this hotel again.

I stayed for 12 nights so got to know the breakfast well and it was always pleasurable. Great choice and fresh. I looked forward to it each morning. The only time I was annoyed was one morning when the Maitre D was checking an iPad for room numbers instead of a printed list as usual and it took a good couple of minutes of queuing before I was eventually allocated a table, at which point I had to grab and go as I was going to miss my train. I told the Maitre D that the waiting time was unsatisfactory and they apologised.
The room was also good. I was upgraded to an executive. The bathroom was well stocked. The bed was comfy. Only negatives was that the aircon was a bit too loud, and I requested earplugs one night as my neighbours were watching TV loudly but the hotel didn't have any to give me. They did instead go and speak to the neighbours which was good.
J. H.
Great service. Diego checked us in and was very helpful in helping us get to know the neighborhood and transportation around. Our stay was great, had good drinks at the bar and breakfast was very good too.
Room was clean and comfortable. Location, so close to Hammersmith underground station is excellent. Safe neighborhood too.

I have visited this hotel numerous times over the past 10 years for various conferences, training days and also socially with family. I have never been disappointed with the facilities or staff which has always been to a high standard. The food is always good and the location means it is easy to access by rail or car if coming from outside the city. Highly recommended for all occasions.
W. W.
Just a few minutes walk from Hammersmith tube and easy to find. Amazing friendly staff really helpful and with ready smiles. Hotel a little tired but staff more than make up for this. Nice meal in Artisan in the hotel itself.
M. D.
Stayed here eight nights for work the hotel is well located has good beds and is clean. The WiFi is okay too. Things to note not every room has air-conditioning ours didn’t and the breakfast gets repetitive as it never changes and you need to watch out as they like to charging you for it despite the fact it’s already included in some room rates
E. L.
We are almost 2020... so as I was on a business trip, I was at least expecting to have at least some wifi! Even after being in touch with their IT I was getting nowhere. Average speed of 1 mbps takes us right back to the middle ages. When paying the price of these rooms, at least Wifi should work. And that's even besides the undercooked french fries and foodpoisoning :-(
M. B.
Very big hotel with all the facilities you may want. It is conveniently located a few steps from Hammersmith Station and a high Street Kensington
J. D.
Overall experience is positive. It is very nice to have espresso in the room, a good improvement. Some suggestion as below:
- some more tag is needed for house keeping, I.e. Towel, bed sheet not need to changed.
- do not disturb mode change to electronic
- more variety for breakfast, more salad choices, fruits. Asian choices.
- staff is very good, professional and nice.
B. G.
Modern and well kept hotel located within walking distance from the Hammersmith tube station and other buses going to the city centre. The room I had was ok even if not particularly big (although an executive room). The breakfast experience was not that great, super crowded and with 5 minutes of queuing to get into the breakfast room due to the paying registration done at the entrance keeping the other guests waiting. I have travelled in hotels all around the world and they will normally bring the breakfast bill at the table.

Was a good experience overall. I previously lived in a Sofitel in Seoul, Korea for a year so I have something to compare it to although I lived on the club floor in a one bedroom suite which is a bit different than a two nights stay in London. I do not understand not providing wash cloths (face cloths) in the bathroom, we had to use the hand towels for the shower but this seems to be a European thing. I asked for face cloths and they came to the room right away with more hand towels saying they didn't have face cloths! I also do not get chaining the iron to the ironing board (afraid someone will steal the iron)! The only other issue was the bar not knowing how to do a frozen margherita but in fairness, it's a French hotel chain and wine is probably the more appropriate choice but I felt like a margherita so I asked for one. They said they could do one, but not really. Not very good. Yeah, I know, I'm nitpicking. Our sink was slow draining but they took care of it right away. The service was good, staff very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Me and my fiancee stayed at Novotel West London for 2nights. The staff were fantastic. Marjorie who works at the hotel arrange to make our stay extra special by decorating our room in a 'Harry Potter' theme as we got engaged that week and were in London to see the Stage show (HP and the Cursed Child).
The beds are comfy, the rooms are a good size, and the en suite was modern.
Also the breakfast buffet was at a good standard and set us right for the day!
The hotel is a 3min walk to Hammersmith tube station, so it has easy access to all parts of the city.
All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone coming to London.
I. T.
This rather overpriced and shabby hotel does no credit to the Novotel (Accor) brand at all. Rooms are outdated; heavily stained carpets, marks on the walls and a decrepit mattress will underwhelm.
The staff are friendly enough and tried their best to help when I was unable to get the room temperature to go below 24deg. The air conditioning is a two-pipe system which means only warm air can be produced in winter mode. The windows only open one inch.
I can’t recommend and will not return unless the pricepoint (£200/night) reflects the actual product.
Disappointing.
M. D.
Right from check in, everything worked like a clock. found the room well appointed and clean. The staff at the reception desk were helpful in setting my wifi on my mobile. The breakfast was excellent and the spread was good. The coffee was good and I looked forward to breakfast time so I could enjoy hot cups of coffee.
J. H.
I stay here once a year due to my work with the London SF scene. Rooms are comfortable, neat and clean, with air conditioning and the usual tea & coffee facilities, etc. The breakfast buffet is fabulous, and surprisingly high quality, with a variety of cooked and cold options available.
The onsite dining options are predictably quite pricey, and not always good value for money (the dinner buffet is nowhere near the quality of breakfast, and often lukewarm, with various less choice and only one vegetarian option; the main bar and grill are both much better, but a lot more expensive; the smaller bars only serve disgusting reheated burgers/hotdogs and a limited range of prepackaged sandwiches). Luckily, the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from Hammersmith's main shopping area and a multitude of bars and restaurants.
s.
We bought a bottle of wine for £22 at the bar (staff said it should have been £22 but all the price lists said £21, so I think they just liked the idea of charging an extra £1)
The following day the price lists still said £21, though we didn't buy another bottle as the first bottle tasted like alcohol hand wash. It certainly didn't taste like wine. The plastic glasses were particularly horrible.
Otherwise, the hotel is fairly generic. It's fairly capable, has bars and conference rooms, and has escalators between floors so you are not stuck queueing for elevators.
P. D.
Everything other than the lobby and restaurant is very dated. Location is convenient, although finding the hotel from the subway can be a bit difficult due to construction work in front of the main entrance. Breakfast is good, service is OK. The conference rooms are dated as well.
A. M.
Nice big room, comfy bed. Could certainly do with better sound proofing though as spent a lot of the night awake with people outside constantly talking loudly or closing doors loudly! Cooked breakfast is very good but pastries were a bit doughy and cold.
s.
Good location. Good and helpful staff. Good decor of restaurants and lobby. Well equipped fitness centre.
Breakfast buffet is same every morning.
Rooms are pretty average. Small size, small TV and with poor connection.
Bathroom is small. Flush would typically splash out.
M. C.
The staff were amazing they made our stay very easy with a 1 year old boy and.my son fell in love with a couple. Do not loose them.
They all deserve large pay rises
The room was excellent. Clean and comfortable
Food was excellent so my best to the chefs
Can not wait to go again.

One night stay in London and the Novotel was grand. We had a family room which had more than sufficient space for us. Although we didn't use all the facilities those that we did were excellent. The bar in the evening had a fantastic barman, sorry I forget his name,... 😁 We paid for breakfast to be included and that was well worth it. A self service arrangement that allows you to choose from a vast array of items, cooked breakfast to continental and many other options in between. I would definitely stay with them again.
G. Z.
I attended an education conference using the various rooms here. On the whole the experience was great. There was plenty of space in the rooms used, with good technical set up which may have been hired in. There was a great exhibition space downstairs, then a large auditorium space upstairs. Food was great and all of the staff were helpful.
N. S.
i've been here many times for many years. staff always friendly and helpful. the room is old but pretty clean, only that the fridge smells sometimes. love the pillow here, different from other novotel i've been.
S. T.
The hotel and all the service were great. The room was at good standard, breafasts fresh and tasty. Rodrigo was very helpful and with great attiude for the guests - real proffesional. We will definitely visit there again.
S. A.
Way better than it's miserable exterior suggests!
T. M.
Fantastic stay in this lovely hotel, room clean and comfortable.Special mention to the staff, who were friendly and very helpful, especially Johanne and Amelia on reception for sorting out our rooms.Thank you.
M. C.
We arrived late on Friday evening, traffic was terrible in London, the receptionist was great in helping us to check in, very pleasant and helpful even at that time. The room was a good size for us, a family of four, it did state it had a queen sized bed but but looked more like a king size instead but we manage with it. Breakfast was excellent, there was something for everyone there, we loved it and next time in London we will stay at the Novotel again, highly recommended!!
V. V.
Location is good. Convenien even at night. Piccadilly line is 2 corners. Room is good for a short stay. Bathroom needs a bit upgrade, but overall good. My son loved the super rich breakfast.

All conditions for a great stay have

I stayed here as a solo Traveller in June and July last year and have just booked for 6 nights again this year in July. So excited to be returning. The staff are so friendly. Hotel location fantastic, close to high St and tube station. Excited to be returning
S. O.
No hot water for shower, maintenance man said hotel busy so tanks probably empty. Poor for a four star hotel. No mention that we couldn't leave car parked once we checked out without paying more. Again for four star hotel corridors and rooms first impressions were a little tired and in need of freshening up. Staff were all polite and helpful on the positive side both at front desk and at breakfast
D. V.
it just not a 4star, its not as good as its rack rate, although our receptionist in was lovely, breakfast arrangements were vague, the carpets worn, icemachine broken in the corridor, lifts cramped, rooms not premier sized, with the optional cobwebs. no arrangements for a gluten free breakfast (honestly). just a litany of little things a Hilton, Radisson and such do that the Novotel didnt quite deliver. Feel bad but this is not the first time.
D. W.
Properly sanitized and smells nice too
D. H.
The Novotel London West is in a great location, a five minute walk to the Hammersmith tube station. My superior room was a decent size, but with a small but practical bathroom. The reception staff were very pleasant. The only disappointment was the breakfast, it appears they have to deal with a huge number of clientele so they provide an efficient service but with medium quality. The coffee was terrible, there was no muesli or granola, and the bacon was poor. Overall a good weekend stay, but for the price I would have liked a better breakfast.
T. C.
Great staff lovely breakfasts. Wonderful nights sleep. Good position for transport and amenities. Some issues with the bathroom, which management have assured me they're putting right.
K. L.
Anime convention, a short walk from Hammersmith tube station. A little understaffed but in general run if the mill chain hotel quality.
B. K.
Fairly large budget hotel halfway between Heathrow and central London. Rooms not a bad size but badly in need of updating. Recent room had stained carpet and felt rather stale. As other reviewers noted, bathtub shower setup is quite treacherous, impossible to avoid a lot of water on floor and no safe way to get out. All surfaces very slippery and must step rather far down without any hand grip. Bizarre. Bathrooms need total redo and room needs big refresh. Suggest a gut renovation.
Conveniently located near Hammersmith tube and bus depot. About 30 mins to get into central London.
R. L.
Lovely hotel, very classy. Except we had an issue with the shower, the temperature was everywhere. If you set it to hot, it's hot for a few seconds, then it's freezing, and then it's burning your skin off. Room service is very expensive but the hotel is lovely.
G. C.
The bedding was comfortable, in room dining service was prompt and delicious. However, we were suprised to find a mouse running along the floor in breakfast lounge. Staff were alerted but did not understand English. Needs immediate attention.
C. D.
Slightly spoilt by non working room key after check in and tops missing off bath and shower taps.
Loved the restaurants and bar areas.Big plus was the hotel atmosphere in the lobby and nice receptionists.
Location ideal and car parking good.
Good helpings and price in the restaurants.
In spite of a high work load staff were very polite and friendly.
In the bar area Desiree impressd with her stunning smile. Went the extra mile and is appreciated, Please pass my remarks on to Desiree and say the croisants were the best ever.
R. S.
The check in staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was extremely comfortable. So nice to be able to open the windows for fresh air. The bed was excellent and we had the best nights sleep we have ever had in a hotel.
E. E.
Amazing stay at Novotel London west. Lots of lovely treats In the room for my dads birthday. Guest relations truly do make people’s stays magical and really make people feel at home. Bar had a great atmosphere in the morning, and buffet breakfast tasty!
R. G.
Syloni was very helpful through out stay. She made us feel comfortable and handed us coffee vouchers since our rooms weren't ready. Breakfast was very elaborate and there is wide choice for vegetarian also.
C. B.
Awesome dinner in Artisan!! Unfortunately I have not opinion about the hotel itself as I only went for dinner with some friends on Tuesday, but looks great. Our dinner was wonderful, tasty and vert well presented (especially the salmon). Fresh food properly cooked. Best place for food lovers!!!
C. M.
Three minute walk to Hammersmith Broadway Station and Bus Station. Friendly staff, incredible breakfast, spacious suite compared to other hotels. It's only missing a pool. I had to call for or room to be cleaned one day as we flipped out sign to have the room cleaned but they didn't see it or didn't realize it has been switched. They should redesign that door sign as it's not easy to know which is which unlike most hotels.
J. S.
Friendly and efficient staff, clean comfortable rooms and great food. Having stayed at the Novotel London West many many times they never fail to impress. Breakfast was perfect, and the bar staff were superb, ensuring we had a great end to the evening to finish off our team dinner. Thank you, look forward to staying again soon.
M. L.
The hotel is centrally located within few minutes walk from Hammersmith Underground and bus station, the room was spacious and very quiet. Do brace yourself for the heat in case you visit in summer because the room does not have cooling air-conditioning. The online check-in makes check-in faster as all details are sorted online, but you still have to wait in the line to pick the cards
D. C.
Tired, ageing and inhuman beige shed that serves conference victims, flight crew and unfortunate tourists who think it's a good hotel.
Set in the middle of a roundabout and surrounded by busy roads, this hotel is as close as you can get to blade runner while remaining safe and getting a good night's sleep.
Rooms are mediocre to acceptable. It's so long since their refit that the bathrooms could get listed status soon (wonderful mica/acrylic one-piece sinks are 'very Barbican').
Staff are pleasant and helpful (best they can be). Lots of lovely French accents.
Food is mediocre and wine lists are basic and expensive.
No-one in their right mind would be here out of choice, but it's a functional large business hotel with zero frills.
We have run an annual conference here for 11 years and it's been consistent during that time: never a disaster but never a joy.
L. W.
After a 13-hour flight, couldn’t even take a hot shower! Waited for a long time!
At the next day, requested two bottles of water and waited for 35 minutes. And the man didn’t mention anything about the long wait.
Very efficient hotel...
J. G.
Nice hotel located in Hammersmith with decent sized rooms. The food from restaurant was good. In house restaurant is Artisan and they do chargrill meals. The salmon was well cooked and delicious which I had with rocket and parmesan salad. Food decently priced. The chef was kind enough to rustle up a meal so close to the kitchen being shut. The service from bar staff was lovely. All in all, worth a try.
R. D.
I have attended conferences at the Novotel 3 years in a row, each time they were a single day event.
The Novotel is easy to get to, being situated close to major roads and public transport hubs. They have their own underground carpark if you are driving, and I would recommend calling in advance if you drive a large car or 4x4, as it is pretty cramped down there. Parking was £3.50 per hour, reduced to £1.50 for hotel residents.
The hotel is modern and well presented, with bars and a restaurant on the ground floor. The buffet lunch was excellent.
Conference facilities seemed modern, with large rooms for keynotes, and smaller rooms for break-outs. Coffee and snacks were plentiful and kept topped-up
D. T.
As a 200 day/yr business traveler, this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at the past few years. DO NOT STAY HERE. To begin: The receptionists refuse to store / retrieve bags so you have to go to the ground floor security. When I tried to retrieve my bag no security was posted and after waiting 30min I finally had to ask someone from reception to come down and go into the baggage room. Next, the hotel gave my room away and the reception person looked at me apologetically but didn’t offer a solution other than a free drink pass and to wait. I escalating to her manager who didn’t apologise and was visibly annoyed to be bothered. A room was finally found (luggage still not yet retrieved) and the receptionist TOOK BACK the drink ticket after all this. Another 2 things: you have to put a specific amount of incidentals because they won’t let you just charge meals and expenses to your credit card and you have to activate your room card to get entrance to a gym. For a hotel that’s charging me a couple hundred pounds a night, this service is truly terrible. A word of warning to fellow travelers.
A. T.
We had a lovely stay. Our check in experience was great thanks to Jose 888 whose friendly and can do attitude was a refreshing change to other places we have stayed. The breakfasts were great too and nice clean bathrooms. Thank you.
A. F.
I d rate it 3.5 if that was possible. It is a 4 stars hotel, pretty convenient with several restaurants, a gym, and all the facilities of a 4 stars hotel. The rooms are spacious and have windows. However, in hotels i really care about the feel a hotel gives you, the warmth and the comfort, both not too special in novotel
R. H.
First time we've stayed in this hotel and it's not what I would've expected sadly.
It's so hot this weekend too and the aircon isn't great. And the one window barely opens so all four of us are boiling hot and feeling unwell
For about £190 odd on a sat night aswel and it being a family room we are pretty squashed in here feel like I'm in a bedsit.
Had food last night and it was abit of a disaster to be honest.
Don't think we will be coming back sadly but hope it for the future does well, thanks for having us
T. K.
Usual expected quality of service of a Novotel - excellent. The staff are great.
An expensive room rate but we were in need of somewhere with parking. Didn't realise that the car park would incur an extra £1.50 per hour whilst we were there.
Adding the car park to a standard room came out at around £200 per night, which is too much for this hotel.
The rooms are ok but bathroom had mould around the bathtub and pot luck as to whether any water came out of the taps or not. I think the building is probably just too big for it's plumbing system.
An ok stay - we love Novotels - but I wouldn't choose this one if something else suitable was available.
j. w.
Mostly great. Room was fine, checking in and out was easy, etc. A couple of points...
1) The vegetarian options for room service is very, very limited. I had the vege curry two nights in a row. Luckily it was a great curry! How about a vege burger or something?
2) At breakfast, if you're a solo traveller, there is no way for staff to know if you've left or not when you go up to get more food. How about a sign on each table saying 'I'm done' on one side and 'I'm still here' on the other, that guests can use?
P. R.
We stayed here for six nights in a suite. We had to ask for towels for 4 not just the two they provided. We had to ask for coffee and also enough pillows for us all. The breakfast buffet had many choices but some of the hot food was cold. The hallways were grubby and had empty glasses left outside some of the rooms. I will point out that the staff were very friendly and helpful but because this hotel is so big with so many guests it shows that some of the little things are not able to be covered. The location in the West of London was great and easy walk to the trains and many many shops
C. K.
Clean and comfortable. Decent size twin beds. Bathroom small bath very short and shaped so standing to shower challenge. Breakfast good
D. B.
It's a tour group hotel, really. Long corridors and bare rooms. Everything works, but decor and fit a bit dated, a good refurbishment to get rid of textured walls, few pictures, fresh bathrooms, etc could really give it a lift. Breakfast pleasant, although bit of a queue sometimes. Staff are all exceptional - they are by far the best bit of the hotel, a real credit to the group. Area is not amazing, overlook a flyover, but a short walk from Hammersmith shops and the Queens Club tennis courts.
A. P.
everything was exceptional! from the look of the hotel to the amazing customer service at the desk and room service. Ive other stayed in other hotels in london where the staff where slightly rude but to recieve such friendly service helped make the overall trip great, extra kudos to the awesome blonde lady at the desk who was very good at perking up a travel tired 4 yr old!.
H. K.
This hotel is perfectly situated and also a great hotel within itself. Inside the hotel is very clean with staff that speaks multiple languages and is ready to help with any of your needs. Also, I don't know if all British hotels do this but breakfast in your room is free! Simply, place the meal option card filled out outside your door handle before 2am and you get breakfast at the time you put preference for! The only issue I have, is that the elevator can be very hard to use during the busy times of the day. However, if you don't mind taking the stares it shouldn't be a problem. As for the location if you leave from the check-in desk exit you are just a 5 min. walk to the "tube" (metro), Nando's (great chicken place), and Capital restaurant (a great and cheap Turkish place).
j. p.
Breakfast buffet was a bit on the disappointing side. I've seen much better ones, although I won't complain too much as it was still ok. There are plenty alternative choices near Hammersmith Stn though.
The hotel itself is a bit old and some parts show their age: our bathroom door was at times very difficult to open, and the bathroom fixtures were not all "fixed". Water in the sink in the bathroom did not eant to leave in a hurry. The bathtub closing "closer" did not work and had to be completely removed to use the bathtub as a shower.
Our electronic keys were incorrectly disabled a day too early.
All minor issues and none was really needed to complain about.
Staff is friendly. Room was clean. Location is great with Hammersmith being a large Tube and bus terminal. Great to go around and to and from Heathrow (Picadilly tube) and Luton (Bus and then change to tube).
D. W.
I rated it 3 stars a while ago. Changed it to 2 stars now because every time I stay here (for work, don't have a choice) there are things wrong. Rooms look old, linen are not the cleanest, when they give you a room there is already someone in it, TV is small, bathtub plug does not seal, washing basin drain is blocked, when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet. These are small things, but it adds up and there is always something not right. Staff are friendly though and breakfast buffet is okay.
R. O. T. L.
This hotel bathroom is super smelly n stinky. There is a strong smell of poo in the water pipes n I can feel the staff just sprayed a whole bottle of air freshener trying to cover that smell. But it’s so choking and unpleasant. Also, the shower head looks like 10 years+ ago that is very ugly, very dirty. Water is hot-cold interchangeably during your shower which is super annoying and unacceptable. I can’t have a nice shower after a long day. Plus, The amenities are so cheap that I hv no interest to try. Toilet roll location is totally not user friendly, asking you to twist 180 degree of your body to get a toilet paper, come on, hv u ever put yourself into users shoes? Who is able to get it? Other than toilet, the room air con is not cold at all and the walls r just paper thin that you can hear ppl laughing next to your room. Just hate it a lot. Never come again. Absolutely ruined my stay.
C. A.
Seamless check-in and check-out service. Rooms/corridors are a bit tired, could do with a fresh lick of paint and for the plug sockets to be given a polish. Otherwise seems to be reasonable value for money for a LONDON Zone 2, 4 star hotel.
E. M.
Having visited the hotel for a technology open forum and showcase, the facilities were more than ample in size. The meeting/conference rooms were not overly well adapted to projected presentations, however. The lighting above the projector screen is not independently controllable, washing the image out slightly. The lunchtime selection of sandwiches was good, with some interesting flavours. The only thing I couldn't immediately find, or at all, was the toilet - no signage to indicate it's presence on the 2nd floor.
J. H.
Old and tired looking hotel. Reception area has non standard ad hoc furniture and the ceilings have damp stains... at nearly £300. Per night one would expect better conformity. The rooms themselves are better.
S. F.
Positives
The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was well cooked, with plenty of choice. Convenient location.
Negatives
The carpets in the room were stained and looked dirty. My 2nd night the room was not made up i.e. bed not made up, the tea bags and Milk were not replenished, bin was not emptied.

We used this hotel during the summer when attending a three day event at Olympia. Although our stay was okay there isn't anything that makes it stand out. There is an onsite gym but unfortunately we were given no information about it when we checked in so even now I still have no idea how you gain access. I would definitely stay elsewhere next time around.

Very nice hotel, personnel were very gracious and helpful. Strange to us about not having washcloths and not having bath mat (or strips in tub which was very high sided) But the breakfast buffet was very good. Had a little hard time …

The hotel is about five to ten min walk from Hammersmith underground and bus station. It is a modern looking hotel quite close to the Hammersmith Appolo theatre and the flyover. The rooms were large and clean. The staff were friendly and the food was good. Prices were what you would expect in London. We were on the top floor and the traffic noise was minimal. It is close to Olympia and can be walked to straight up the main road in no time at all. All in all a good place for a break with on site parking if you need it and close to TFL transport links. Would I recommend this hotel answer yes.
R. S.
Amazing stay at Novotel. Very nice rooms clean and really great care from the staff particularly Alijca, Javell, Keagan and of course the great Domitille. The breakfast was really good as well
Would recommend !

We bought a bottle of wine for £22 at the bar (staff said it should have been £22 but all the price lists said £21, so I think they just liked the idea of charging an extra £1) …
T. O.
Service and room at the Novotel was lovely. Our room looked over the whole of London. Our room included toiletries, towels and tea making facilities. Unfortunately the shower wasn't as powerful as we would have liked. The breakfast was amazing! It is set out in a buffet style and anything you could think of for breakfast was there.
T. F.
Bathroom shower fittings needed renewing as we couldn't tell what was what as the fronts had been removed. Bathroom smelt of sewage which I think came from the sink. Just needed a good blast through I except. Room smaller than travel lodge despite it being 'superior room'. Only enough tea/ milk n sugar for one cup, so take some with you. Quite a comfy night on the whole, satisfactory for me and my daughter.
G. W.
overall the stay was pleasant enough.
room was clean on arrival. Although they never topped up the complimentary tea or coffee.
check-in was a bit of a nightmare as the receptionist couldn't understand English. Then there was confusion over the booking.
breakfast was lacking understaffed for the amount of occupants. waited 10 minutes for cups for tea and coffee and then another 5 for milk.
Pillows were hard and there was no alternative to these supposed neck comfort pillows. Thus ended up with a headache. Not enough towels or face cloths either, and size of towels well that's another story. I'd say this hotel is ok for a one night stay. There was nothing really appealing about the hotel to make you want to stay longer. Only the location has its plus points. Sorry but I have stopped in better cheaper hotels with better service and value for your hard earned money.

Old and not so well maintained. Breakfast can get very crowded and service was not very good. Location of the hotel is amazing though, 5 mins walk to Hammersmith station (which is very convenient, as there are 4 subway lines that go through it). Plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs in the surrounding area. Around 10 mins bus ride to Westfield Shopping Mall.

Hotel location was fantastic, reception staff very helpful. However, TV guide and info didn’t work, which was disappointing. Unclear labelling on bottled water pricing in the mini fridge. I asked 2 members of staff at 11am if the bottled …

I was staying at the hotel as part of the NineWorlds convention and cannot fault the staff I interacted with, from the reception desks to the bar. My room had a couple of issues with it, which I reported to a member of housekeeping. She immediately contacted maintenance, who arrived very quickly and dealt with both issues. Everyone was polite, friendly and gave an impression that they couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. In fact, I would say they were even better than they were last year, and I thought they were pretty good last year! In particular, I really liked that the staff were allowed to join in with the cosplaying, because seeing them in capes and masks was awesome.
The only issues I can complain about seem to be ones that may be unable to be fixed: my shower kept running very hot followed by lukewarm every 30-40 seconds. Plus, there was an unpleasant smell coming from my sink whenever I turned the water on (a smell that hung around the corridors, albeit faintly).
T. M.
The hotel is about five to ten min walk from Hammersmith underground and bus station. It is a modern looking hotel quite close to the Hammersmith Appolo theatre and the flyover. The rooms were large and clean. The staff were friendly and …

Great location to the tube and apollo. Only bad point is that the rooms were too hot especially at night. Only warm air was coming out of the vent in the room. Checked with reception and they said they turn the cooling temperature off …
B. C.
When I booked all that was a available was a Premium Executive Room. I stayed in an Executive Room the week before and to be honest it was better than this one. Apart from two more bottles of water there was no difference. No bathrobe in the room.
Also walked into the hotel with a mountain of luggage and no one offered to help! Apart from that good as usual.
J. K.
Warmest days of year - no air conditioning. If we kept our pets in these conditions we would be prosecuted, instead we are humans paying for a room where the hotel did not automatically supply water. Instead they kindly supply a menu charging you for it !!!
Reception, bar and dining areas are of a good standard - room looked good but on further inspection it let the place down.
Bathroom sink when running water produced a nasty drain smell. Bath plug mechanics broken.
Bedroom bedside light mains switch damaged revealing bare metal and electrical wiring - very dangerous.
Bedroom bedside mains socket not functioning and had a burn mark again potentially very dangerous.
Fridge could not cool water which I bought due to the heat so it is a waste of time.
Air conditioning - produces noise but it does not cool
The hotel room was quiet but with the extreme heat I was unable to sleep for 3 nights.
Checkin added £50 per night on top of room rate for pre-approval.
I stayed at this hotel 30+ years ago and had one of the worst experiences in my life (life threatening), now after another 30 years I still end up being very unhappy.
At checkout I was offered apologies and a free coffee to take away.
Being asked to contact guest relations or come back and everything will be fine wastes my time and why should I give the hotel another chance of my money.
I now get asked to complete a survey instead of receiving an apology - this is not the sign of a caring hotel.

Older hotel in quiet part of west London. The room standard and equipment is of the same standard as in other 4* Novotel hotels, e.g. in Amaterdam.
The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable.
The staff is helpful and professional. The breakfast is common English-based 💂🏻♂️🇬🇧💂🏻♀️
V. P.
No room cleaning even I’ve displayed “Please make up my room” sign from 7am to 10pm. Called guest service 3 times and it took an hr for a fresh set of towels to arrive my room. Service not up to normal Novotel standard.

Quickest ever checkout. Overnight business trip, helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, nice room with steam iron & ironing board, complementary fair trade toiletries, the most comfortable bed in any hotel I've ever stayed in.
S. J.
A good hotel, with a bit of 90s vibe in the interior. Overall service was good, wifi was great and rooms had very good hair dryers and irons - important for a business traveler. Hammersmith station is right next to the hotel. My only gripe is, that architecturally the place was just confusing.
M. B.
Small televisions. Limited food as all restaurants closed.
J. S.
The hotel's location is perfect. Very close to the tube station easy to get to the airport. Nice area to walk around, lots of pubs nearby. The staff is friendly and professional. Rooms are large and comfortable.
G. V.
The Novotel was an excellent venue for Nine Worlds once again. Staff were pleasant and helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable. The only minor issues were the mattress seemed a little worn on both sides (so I ended up sleeping in the middle, which wasn't disastrous) and there was an issue with a fire escape being blocked that delayed the convention's entertainment on the Saturday night.
P. W.
Although the rooms are confortable and the staff is friendly, they had a party going on (probably due to a conference) with very loud music going on until midnight. I could hear the music in my room like if it was happening there. Taking into account that I needed to wake up early this was no fun. An hotel that charges this much for a room (more than 200 €) shouldn't allow this kind of things to happen
P. C.
I visited this venue briefly for the Swpp trade show recently. The restaurant was really nice and had a good buffet, and that is the only reason I've given them any stars at recently.
The women's toilets have glass doors to the cubicles. Honestly, how did this absurd idea get past planning?? Yes they are opaque, but you can ask see the outline of people in there. Which woman would feel comfortable sitting out her sanitary pad or tampon knowing people can see her?
Honestly, I am rather insulted by this so no, I'd not recommend, I'm rather concerned about the hotel's lack of attention to their customers privacy.
N. R.
Location is good, easy assess to the city centre by tube. However, if you have dust allergy, better bring your own towels, slippers and pillow case as their hardware is a bit old and deep cleaning is necessary.
A. L.
In the middle of canicula there was a smell
Previous guest in the room was clearly a smoker.
Elevators out of order: 2/6 creating long waiting lines...
People at the front desk are very nice as well as most of the employees
Breakfast is expensive and very very crowdy noisy....
T. A.
Worst hotel I have stayed in London. Claims customer parking but you only get a reduced rate in their car park. Bath plug didn't work, bathroom stunk of drains, sink wouldn't drain, TV remote barely worked and the kettle wouldn't turn off so continuously boiled. All things I would be fine with but for £120 you would expect a lot better.
S. B.
Check in was good, lovely reception area and bar and good selection at breakfast. However I was disappointed with the dingy corridors on our floor they are bland and shabby and the rooms weren't much better either. For a 4 star hotel and having had great experiences staying at other Novotel's this hotel is a disappointment. Good location for Hammersmith underground station
A. O.
A large modern 4 star hotel. Two restaurants that I haven't tried, also a nice bar which does food as well although it's quite small so can get crowded. Very close to the Apollo music venue but a fair way out from central London, however there are 4 tube lines and a bus station. Rooms are as you'd expect - I got a free upgrade.
J. J. 4.
The staff here are ignorant need a good hard kick up the ass the keycard was printed in such a way it wasn’t ledge-able when I asked which room no I was the card was snatched from my hand. I have a group booked here and when I asked about parking I was told Kensingtonwas the closest place when there are loads of bays outside told I wasn’t booked. Wouldn’t it be better to ask the group when they book the hotel if they need parking for Coach. That would be the sensible thing to do. And I can guarantee they won’t all be filled tonight just a gimmick and there was only one person who eventually helped me when I asked to speak with the manager. Then I was asked for my name I said driver. They said No your full surname and Christian name I said driver they got even more annoyed 😒 I am sure there are hundreds of drivers stay here every year and their name won’t be anything other than driver. Why o why do they need my name I’m booked and paid by the travel company. They don’t need to know my name. This is a lovely hotel to stay in clean and very elegant and nice but the staff treat people like herds of cattle not even a smile from one single member of staff and that was before I even got into my room let’s see if it gets any better throughout my stay here
J. R.
Novotel is an excellent hotel that gives you all you need for a decent stay away from home. The food by far is the highlight of its services, offering an all you can eat buffet for breakfast and dinner. The staff are friendly and helpful though rather quietly so. They provide all you need without interrupting you during your stay. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the underground station and high street shopping is just a short walk down the road.
N. M.
Clean hotel. Nice rooms, breakfast is pretty standard but plenty of seating and things don't run out. Service is pretty good, staff is attentive and quick to help. Would stay here again.
G. B.
Accor group of hotels are always my top choice when looking for accommodation. However this one I will never ever consider as the rooms are old, carpets worn and dirty, hot water system that occasionally spurts out really hot water, a smelly drain, and a host of other issues, to be regarded as a 4 Star hotel really is a joke. It is close to the tube and bus stop and service is to a good standard. Just hope the rooms will get upgraded soon.
D. W.
I attended a work conference. The hotel was fine, good even, in most ways but two things stop it getting 5 stars. Firstly, the layout is quite confusing. Reception is upstairs and it's not immediately clear how to get there. Secondly, the entire day in the conference room it was freezing. I mean really *really* cold. I didn't take off my big winter coat the entire day and yet I was still cold. Very strange.
S. L.
On arrival we were told we were Special guests of the day. We were given vouchers for drinks. Also upgraded to a premier executive room. The receptionist, Rebecca, was lovely and hugely welcoming. I told her the upgrade was really special as that day it was my birthday - and the reason for our trip to London (Shard tickets and S show booked). She looked after our bags whilst the room was prepared. The following morning a knock at the door and we were handed a beautifully decorated plate with a speciality cake on it and a happy birthday on chocolate piping. Thank you for making our stay so special. We really appreciated it... and we will be back!!!
G. S.
I booked two nights at your hotel and while I was sure I needed the first I was not sure if I needed the second. The assistant told me that I should book both nights to make sure I had the same room, but then I could cancel the second night if I let them know before 14:00. I did let them know before 14:00 but they still wouldn't let me cancel because it had been booked under the wrong code. I then checked out (before 14:00) but had to pay for the additional night that I was not there for. I also had to spend a considerable amount of time chasing this up on the phone as the hotel claimed they had nothing to do with reservations and couldn't give me the refund. The reservation line said it should be done at the hotel, and I couldn't get anywhere. A total shambles. A refund for the additional night not used should have been offered. I will never stay with you again.
D. C.
Greeted promptly after flight from Paris early morning, room ready for us to unload and unwind before venture out.
Nice experience to start with; ended with late check out at 2:30pm - enough time for packing up all purchases!
Lounge manager Christian and front desk staff Joso were most helpful during our stay, keep it up!
K. V.
The concierge was really nice when I arrived early for check in in the middle of a rain shower, soaking wet. She made sure I got into a room quickly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient to the Underground so I could get into and out of London easily.
C. M.
Good hotel with an excellent breakfast included. Hammersmith Station is nearest (about a 10 minute walk). Excellent bar and menu for snacks in the lobby. Staff is very friendly. A little far out if you want to be in the middle of the tourist spots of London. But the value makes the tube ride worth it. Aprox a 20 minute ride to Victoria Station.
M. D.
Dirty, dark, outdated rooms, hallways and restaurant. Strange odor comes from the sink when using hot water. Front desk staff not the brightest besides one clever, chipper woman who affectionately calls everyone “love.” She was, by far, the best part of my Novotel experience.
G. S.
Travelled solo to exhibit at a conference in the Chablais suite. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and maintained the exhibition floor very well. The facilities, including gym, reception, function suites and dining rooms were of great quality and I would definitely visit again.
J.
I tried to check in at 19.15. I was told to wait on two occasions, and was left by myself for over ten minutes in total. I had a dinner appointment with my son, who lives in NE London, and wanted to go to my room to change clothes, and leave for dinner, as he needed to get back home before it was too late. I was told that "my room was being cleaned, but this would take some time as the guests had checked out late". I was given vouchers for two drinks, for me and my son, but when I returned to reception with my son, my room was still not available. I was therefore forced to change clothes in the corner of the lobby!
Honestly, for a Silver Member in your loyalty programme, I didn't see any benefit at all.
When I returned to the hotel at 10.20, I could finally check in.
Unfortunately, just when I wanted a coffee, the Nespresso machine would not work!
The next morning, while shaving, a smell of rotten egges was released from the drain when hot water was running, indicating a bad contamination in the "U-bend". I reported this to reception, and before I checked out, a friendly "plumber" arrived. He confirmed that the Nespresso machine was broken, and the drain stank of H2S. He sprayed a chemical into the drain in the hope that it would kill the smell. As an engineer, I think the U-bend needs to be flushed!
At least the safe behaved itself. On two previous visits, the power supply to the safe failed, and I was late leaving the hotel as I had to wait for an external contractor to open it!
I really get the feeling that you are charging top dollar for poor infrastructure. My collague, Dr Thomas Ingram, who stayed in your hotel for the first time, swore he would never stay there again.
M. S.
This is a dirty hotel with dirty stained carpets and torn up walls, a smelly room and uncomfortable beds. I would absolutely not stay here again. Also no was clothes in the bathroom and a clogged bathroom sink! Can’t believe it has legitimately earned a 4 star rating!
S. U.
Good location for the Apollo, plus spacious car park. Nice bar and food area. Very well presented, clean throughout, modern but comfortable and menu well priced. Would use this hotel again.

A durian smells not pleasant but good to eat. Though I don't like however I have seen people go crazy for it. Specially Malaysian people, they sit whole families and eat durians, I was really surprised to see that!
B. O.
The ease of access to nearby tube stations is very convenient, the staff is (for the most part) very helpful and the in-house Cosmos event coordinators make planning excursions a breeze. My room was more than adequate and quite comfortable. As hotel stays go, this was a winner!

Standard. Uninspiring. Impersonal. Fair price though, and clean - February 2018
Stayed three nights and had meetings for two and a half days at the hotel as part of a company off-site.
The hotel is massive, impersonal with uninspired décor throughout and giving a feeling of being in an airport terminal. The price per night was not too bad but not cheap either, and the rooms (though clean) were generally too cold as also confirmed by my colleagues, with the old-fashioned temperature control dial not doing much to help.
The breakfast buffet was OK, but the lunch/dinner one quite subpar, after 4 meals I didn't want to ever see it again. I wouldn't recommend it unless it's the only venue that fits your budget for a company meeting and you're flying to Heathrow (it's next to the Hammersmith stop on the Piccadilly line so that's a convenience point)

We just attended a wedding there. Worst staff, bad customer service. Parking was already paid by host till 6. If u reach to counter 10 minute after 6, they charge youball over again . They cheat and lie at your face. Charged me 40 pounds for parking although it was already paid. And they just blame different departments within the hotel. Stay away ftom this hotel if u can.....

We used this hotel during the summer when attending a three day event at Olympia. Although our stay was okay there isn't anything that makes it stand out. There is an onsite gym but unfortunately we were given no information about it when …

bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable! bathroom is top notch. - Minus one are for the parking cost ), hence four stars only.
Thank you for having me, all staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. I will be back again.
S. D.
The main reception and breakfast room were fine. I was in a 4th floor bedroom. The corridors are completely bare - it looks like offices in an aircraft hangar. The signage to the bedrooms is not easy to follow and it is a long walk to the far end only to find you should have turned down a side corridor 100 yards back. Do you have a better colour than all-grey?

I enjoyed it. I was checked in by a receptionist in training and she handled herself and the process very well. The person training her was patient and didn't allow her input to interrupt our interaction. The room was comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious.
P. g.
Breakfast was good the dinner in the lounge was good the bed was comfortable with the Internet work perfectly. Considering where our offices in Hammersmith I thought this was the best choice and it turned out to be very good. Even though there was construction going on next-door. I would have no problem staying there again whenever I come to our office and Hammersmith.
J. K.
Only stayed overnight to attend a party nearby. The hotel ticked all the boxes: friendly welcome from reception, clean modern room, good bar service and plentiful breakfast. Would certainly stay here again if we are in the Hammersmth area. Only downside is the parking is expensive at £1.50 an hour for hotel guests.
M. V.
The hotel was conveniently located nearby Hamersmith station. The reception is at the first floor and it is not very clear when you arrive that you need to go up. My stay was during one of the hottest day of the year and the A'C in the room was not very powerful. The room was very big though for London which was very pleasant. I was at the back and it was very quiet.
A. S.
4 stars?! It barely make it a 3-star hotel! Maintainace guys are rude, front desk takes forever to respond. The rooms and corridors are old fashioned and shabby, lights are dim, carpets are shaggy feels like one of those haunted ones. Sheets are unclean as well. And the shower temperature is unstable one second its hot next second its cold, imagine taking shower in winter... The only good thing about it is the location, Hammersmith is the tube hub of London west, easily to get anywhere. I would suggest take something else if you have a better choice
T. G.
Here for a conference and the facilities are quite nice. Large number of rooms in various sizes to accommodate large conferences requiring many break out rooms. Staff is good and facilities are nice. Easy access to public transportation.
M. B.
Amazing hotel! Superb cosy bar with immaculate service. Delicious food and tasted even better as it was surely made and served with love. Thank you for everything.
C. B.
This is not a 4 star hotel. We stayed as part of a travel package for an excursion while in London. It was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Needed to store bags since room was not ready. We were led to the storage room to stow our own bags rather than having the bags taken care of for us. At 11:30pm there was a long line to check in. Children running through the lobby unattended. Rooms were worn and dirty. Bathroom mirror was dirty. Room smelled like someon had just eaten dinner in there, very strong odor. No AC, yes there was no air conditioning. We thought it was odd that when we entered the room, the window was open. Called down to inquire and were offered a box fan, so needless to say, a very uncomfortable and sleepless night.
B. C.
It's surely looks better on the inside then on the outside :) First two floors are just an entrance, the real deal starts at the 2nd floor. The restaurant is good but expensive. The garage is very narrow. The hotel is located close to Hammersmith tube stop.
B. R.
It was fine. I've stayed many times before as location suits me.
Only complaints would be air conditioning not very good considering the extreme temperatures in London.
Also, and this has happened before, the key card to your room checks you out before check out time of 12 noon, so after breakfast I had to go up to room on 9th floor, then com all the way down to reception to get new card, then back up to room again in order to pack up my things. Surely this could be rectified - it must happen to people all the time and be a nuisance to reception staff also.
M. H.
The stay was very pleasant. Very nice welcome. Nice room with confortable bed. Modern bathroom very clean. Staff very helpful. I recommend walks along the Thames , a few minutes from the hotel. Good public transport network nearby.
V. T.
The hotel was just perfect. The room was big,the bed was very comfortable and even though we slept next to a busy road we didn't have any trouble sleeping. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again!
J. K.
I have stayed here on several occasions and it was just terrible this time. I was put in room 6002. It was yellow and smelled of stale smoke. The sheets were un pressed and seemed dirty. The bathroom had a dead spider and hair on the floor. It also had stains that came up with just water. No toilet brush and half a toilet roll! 2 towels which were tiny, both of which my wife used leaving me a wet one.
Dined in the restaurant on Saturday evening after the theatre. What a mistake. Ordered a drink which never came. Had to ask for it 3 times. Steaks not cooked to the correct temperature and tasted terrible. We switched with each other trying to make the best of it however they tasted really bad that for the first time ever we left not finishing our meals. On arriving at the room we were both very ill. (Reminder of the no toilet brush situation!)
Slept terribly in a double bed which was advertised as a Queen.
We got up and left as quickly as possible without having our pre paid breakfast. Told the receptionist about our issues. She just handed me a card saying 'duty manager' with a phone number where nobody answers.
Like I said I have stayed at NOVOTEL several times and we have a couple of businesses that need us to be at Olympia 4-5 times a year. I will never ever book a NOVOTEL again!
P. E.
Great service from start to finish - especially appreciated the prompt room service and availability of vegan options. Very convenient location right by Hammersmith station but still quiet despite being next to the roadway. Only quibble is that the pedestrian-friendly entrance is somewhat out of the way, and more direct entrance (path through the bus parking area) is a bit dodgy.
J. B.
Stayed only for one night but had great experience. I was having drinks while waiting for someone by the bar, the bartender kept on checking if everything is fine - when he asked me if I like my cocktail I replied that I was expecting something different, more sweet.. after a while he came back with another drink, exatlcy what I was expecting from previous one, complimentary of course. Great service.
G. W.
Had a lovely 2 day stay, the room was clean and basic. Coffee, tea and water provided. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. We had an evening buffet meal and it was basic food but there was fair amount of choice or you could have a more expensive menu.
C. D.
Would be a 5 but the rooms are looking old a dated
M.
In the many consecutive years I've stayed in this hotel, I've seen the quality get worse each year. The breakfast buffet has depreciated greatly in quality and food choices (the yogurt looked particularly unappetizing). The rooms (not just mine, as I was told) did not have properly working air conditioning, and this during a couple of particularly warm nights.

Be aware!!! This hotel is totally not secure!!
Everyone, stranger and take lift to guest room levels without key.
I went out for breakfast only 1 hr,someone came into my room and stole my purse and iPad...
The most scariest is I saw this thief on the aisle when I was going out!!!!
Even the ground floor entrance happened criminal cases before !
Hotel said: it's not their responsibility!!
Welcome to stay with us,but our hotel is not safe!
k. t.
room very small once sofa bed opened up for children to sleep in, gap at end of bed and sofa was tiny. Parking extremely over priced, was not aware of this charge we would not have stayed if we had known we would have to pay over£70 on parking alone.
Check in/out staff were hit and miss, some were very polite, others were extremely rude and in need of a personality implant
C. M.
Ok hotel, not a really big room but average for London standards, the matras needs to be replaced I could feel where the previous guests slept. Also the AC will turn off wait until it's unbearable hot and then turn on again. Also because of the thin walls there could come some noise from inside, I didn't hear the road outside at all which was good.
N. S.
Popped in to novotel to use their car park while attending event in the apollo. Great carpark, bright and spacious. Big bays allow for easy parking. Lift takes you to the lobby which has nice and clean toilets. A but pricey but the location is worth it.
D. E.
It was literally just nice. Wasn't anything over luxurious considering the price. The breakgast we had already paid for was an extra £10 each to bring to room. And even then it was just about standard food. I give a satisfied rating because it is just that, but the price tag is not worth it. Felt like I got nothing extra for paying 230 for executive suite.
M. K.
It's a standard Novotel, does the job but nothing to write home about. The car park is not very secure - a colleague's car was broken into during my time here. Make sure you don't leave anything on display when your car is parked. The hotel does have signs to warn people about the risks.
