I lived here the past 4 months and the staff are very friendly the cleaning crew and house keeping is on point especially its a place where because of covid homeless people where housed considering all that the main hotel staff and the hotels house keeping staff don't treat you like your an outcast they are respectful. Not the best of places to stay, but it's worth what you pay for. The building is older so there's really no sound proofing so you hear everything. No air conditioning and no fans to offer (and it was February so shouldn't have been that hot in the rooms). The bathrooms are tiny, but again it is London so every room is small. Friendly staff, helpful and happy to help with anything you need

Rooms were a bit small, but big enough if you're only staying for one or two nights. Good location, not far from the tube station and just over the road from the park. Breakfast was good too, a self-service style but staff were on hand. A nice cafe on sight too selling cakes and sandwiches to take away. A nice, relatively cheap, good quality hotel

Absolutely fine. Single room was worn but clean and tidy. Comfortable and quiet room. Small bathroom but great shower. Sufficient for my needs as I was travelling alone for work. Breakfast was basic. Would stay there again if travelling for work.

Rooms are small but good, cleaned well with comfortible beds. The food in the restaurant is not very good though. I orderd steak and chips but the steak was really dry and clearly frozen. Not that i expected differently in a budget hotel but for 13 pounds i expected a little bit more. also breakfast very basic. Staff very friendly. Overall i would come again and recommend this hotel.

Not bad overall, will be fine for most people. If you are looking for a short stay in central London. The rooms: small, warm, have a TV and a kettle. Clean but slighlty beat up. Very strong chemical smell throughout the hotel but especially bathrooms. There was always warm water in the bathrooms, and enough space for a tall man. But the sink was blocked all the time. Breakfast was fairly poor - only toasts and yougurt and some basic pastry. Didn't try ham as it looked dodgy. Coffee and juices are decent. Overall can get you started early in the day. Locaiton is good - a couple of minutes from the tube which links to most central stations within half an hour. Staff is friendly - no major issues. Recommended as you don't expect much from a 2-star hotel for this price and this location. Prefer chemical smell over any other smell.

The hotel is ok, rooms on the small side en suite was extremely compact, but it was clean and in good repair. The hotels only cooling method is windows, it was only 19c when I stopped but inside it felt much hotter, would not want to stop here in the summer. Breakfast was basic but ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a stopover but not a holiday.

A nice hotel with wide open terraces and garden. They also have a very nice cafe open to everyone. Very tidy hotel, nice staff, comfy rooms, breakfast was nice with plenty to eat. The hotel is in a fantastic location, only minutes from the train station and lots of local amenities. Finsbury Park is opposite with great views from the front of the hotel. There is a lovely pub called The Twelve Pins minutes away for a nice friendly lunch or drink. Would fully recommend the Pembury.

Quite modern finish, well appointed rooms. On site parking at extra charge, all though Street parking nearby is free after 1830 till 830. Continental style breakfast is very limited to just cheese, ham, toast, jam coffee and orange juice. Breakfast served in the attached Cafe that sells more items like cakes and pastries. Clean rooms but can be noisy as everything is laminated or tiled floors, other guests are very noticeable when walking about or arriving back at nights. All doors shut with a loud bang which can wake you up. Close to shops and lots of restaurants and other fast food type places.

It's ok for the money. Can't really add much more than that. Breakfast was rubbish. I booked a room with breakfast included and then asked to pay extra for a cooked breakfast and offered a pastry. The cost difference for a room with breakfast was about £11 a night so watch out for that as you'll end up paying £11 for a croissant and a coffee!

Very close to Finsbury Park & tube station. Has a lift but lots of stairs even when using lift. There are ground floor rooms. There's a cafe but I didn't use it on this occasion. My room was a good size with lots of storage, a safe, & a shower room. Wifi was easy to connect to & worked well. Reception is glossy & attractive, my room cd have done with a bit of a refurb. House-keeping is generous with toiletries.

We were guests of the hotel three times, the first time the room was in the building next door, not nice but still clean, the second time the room was in the hotel itself, bigger but full of ants (in the end by dint of crush them they are gone and the cleaning staff did not intervene at all, the ants came from the cabinet where the coffee maker was), the third time we were there everything was fine, clean room. The breakfast (I don't know if anything has changed in the meantime) is a plentiful buffet and served at the hotel next door where at the entrance you had to show the key to the Pembury hotel to prove you were a guest. The last time we were there, however, breakfast was served right at the Pembury hotel. It is a hotel to recommend because it is located a few steps from the bus stop and right in front of the park and not far from the subway. The reception staff are not friendly and not very helpful but it is a reasonably priced hotel for the services it provides considering we are talking about London. I repeat: this review dates back to a few years ago, it may have changed over the years and we never went back there just because it wasn't available when we needed it. Siamo stati ospiti dell'hotel per tre volte, la prima volta la camera era nell'edificio accanto, non bella ma comunque pulita, la seconda volta la camera era nell'hotel stesso, più grande ma piena di formiche (alla fine a forza di schiacciarle se ne sono andate ed il personale delle pulizie non è assolutamente intervenuto, le formiche provenivano dal mobile dove c'era il bollitore per il caffè), la terza volta che siamo stati lì è andato tutto bene, camera pulita. La colazione (non so se è cambiato qualcosa nel frattempo) è abbondante a buffet e servita all'hotel a fianco dove all'entrata bisognava esibire la chiave dell'hotel Pembury per prova di essere ospiti. L'ultima volta che siamo stati lì però la colazione era servita proprio all'hotel Pembury. È un hotel da consigliare perché è situato a pochi passi dalla fermata dei bus e proprio davanti al parco e non distante dalla metropolitana. Il personale alla reception non è socievole ed è poco disponibile ma è un hotel con prezzi ragionevoli per i servizi che dà considerando che stiamo parlando di Londra. Ripeto: questa recensione risale a qualche anno fa, potrebbe essere cambiato negli anni e non ci siamo più tornati solamente perché quando ci occorreva non era disponibile.

A noi e' stata cortesemente concessa una delle piu' grandi con vasca da bagno, ma il letto, posizionato contro la parete, e' molto scomodo, il materasso e' praticamente distrutto e la notte senti tutte le molle sulla schiena dato che, oltretutto, e' stato adagiato su una lastra di compensato. La stanza e' un po' impregnata di odore di fumo. La vasca e' comoda e grande, mentre accanto vi e' un lavandino con specchio la cui grandezza consente di lavarsi a malapena le mani. La stanza e' dotata di una televisione a schermo piatto senza canali italiani e un phon per capelli a parete. Il wi-fi, purtroppo, e' presente solo nelle aree comuni. La nota positiva di tutto cio' e' l'ottima colazione servita al bar. Le addette riempiono continuamente i vassoi. Ci sono: paste calde, toast, caffe', latte', the', succo di frutta, cereali, marmellata, burro, salumi e formaggio...Nel complesso questo hotel meriterebbe solo della manutenzione e un po' di comodita' in piu'. Anche se il prezzo e' uno dei piu' bassi di Londra, non giustifica dover dormire cosi' scomodamente. Almeno un buon sonno dovrebbe essere garantito.

La habitación y, sobre todo, el baño eran pequeños, pero por ese precio (barato para lo que es Londres) no puedes esperar más, y tampoco creo que lo necesites si a lo que vas es a hacer turismo y no a estar en el hotel. Eso te lleva a las excelentes conexiones del barrio, con paradas de bus y metro cercanas, y además con varios restaurantes, cervecerías y supermercados, con precios más bajos que los de la zona turística. También hay varios cajeros. En el que usé yo, el más cercano al hotel, no me cobraron comisión por su uso. Además el barrio tiene mucho encanto. Es un barrio humilde de gente trabajadora, con el impresionante Finsbury Park al lado... Se me hizo un sitio agradable. No sé si volveré a Londres, pero de hacerlo no me importaría repetir.
