Premier inn Blackfriars is not just an hotel. Staff is friendly and ready to help for all your stay at the hotel. Food worth the price and the service is impeccable. From the site you can reach easily all the most important attraction around London
C. P.
Superb location. Typical premier inn experience. The staff were excellent. Alex, as the breakfast meet and greet, was super friendly. Food both in the evening and for breakfast was really good and excellent value. Can't fault it at this price.

I couldn't ask for better service! Staff lovely and friendly. Hotel extremely clean and tasty food. Great location , easy to access multiple places. Reasonable price!
S. H.
Nice and clean with some really lovely and helpful staff. It did appear that the majority of the staff were wearing 'I'm exempt from wearing a mask badge' though, that seemed very odd. All in all a very comfortable stay
J. S.
Hotel in great location, near tube enabling easy access to other areas around London. Set in back streets away from main street so generally quieter. Staff were really helpful. Due to covid housekeeping requirements at front desk as they do not access rooms however not a problem getting extra towels, tea and coffee. Breakfast was nice and worth arranging in advance. Hotel clean and well maintained. Would definitely use again if I visit London.
C. B.
Under £100 for a central London hotel, booked on the morning of arrival??? You can’t beat that. Typical Premier Inn, clean and comfortable with helpful staff. There’s even a late night food shop round the corner for bedtime snacks! 2 minute walk from Blackfriars station
C. H.
I think his name was Jay. Great customer service and a really good guy. He sorted out something that was mad mistake and resolved it to satisfy the customer. This person is truly an asset to your business. Great guy, great service 👍

I have stayed in alot of Premier inn's and this one is the first were I have been and it has not been up to standard. The staff were really friendly and it was all good apart from the check-in system crashed and we had to wait around to check in (no big deal) the thing that let it down was the state of the bathroom/shower, it was dirty and grubby and just not the norm from a Premier Inn

Pros: Great location right in the middle of everything and very close to public transportation. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, plenty of outlets around. Generally had a fantastic stay.
Cons: wifi was fairly slow and it asked you to log back in frequently. The hotel’s boiler overheated during our stay which set off the fire alarm and then knocked out water to all of the rooms for the night. I doubt this is a common occurrence, but it was less than ideal to have no running water until the morning.

Location was really nice. Approximately 2-3 min walk to Blackfriars station which is about a 10min ride to covent garden etc. I recommend walking by the River Thames to the attractions because the view, especially night view is really pretty, and is rather quiet so fantastic for a romantic evening/night walk. Tesco Express, Superdrug and Sainsbury's were nearby. Located in a business area and buildings look posh. The hotel staffs were really helpful and friendly. Customer service was brilliant as well. The reason why I am rating it as 4 star is because personally I would like to see it done up a little more. Eg new paint, new carpet etc to give it a new modern look, but I understand it's a Premier Inn. Regardless of all that, would come back again!

All you'd expect from the rooms ... Wonderfully quiet, with superb bed and bedding.
Spotlessly clean.
Only downside was that the foyer seems to double as the breakfast area.
Wonderfully helpful staff who appeared to genuinely be concerned about the experience
U. M.
Stayed for 3 days and 4 nights with adjoining rooms and was made to feel very welcome the stay was affordable and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and i will definitely be staying there again. The only negative was the variety of the food on the menu and the lack of portion sizes for the cost however breakfast was consistently superb. Thank you primer inn blackfriars. 5/5
.. W.
I chose the double bed , the room was very spacious. It was a cold night , so the ability to crank up the heat was amazing . Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book again.

Easy to find and close to the Underground.
Not a bad base for exploring central London especially if you enjoy walking about the capital.
Usual Premier room though it felt cleaner than others we’ve stayed in. Efficient, relatively quiet air conditioning.
Lovely reception staff who gave us a quiet room, happily supplied extra tea bags & milk for the SO’s cuppa addiction and who always seemed genuinely cheerful
We’d definitely stay here again.

Big hotel in great central location for The City. Usual Premier high standard room, no frills but everything you need and spotlessly clean. Cool views of The Shard (only from a few rooms, I was lucky). Efficient & friendly reception staff.
S. H.
This hotel is located in a great area to explore Londons main sites. You can walk to most place within 20 minutes but the tube station is just across the road if you don't want to walk. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. There was also enough staff on hand which was great as some Premier Inns seem to have no staff around. Breakfast was lovely. I stayed with my two grandchildren. I would highly recommend this hotel.
P. T.
Wasn't very happy with this premier. No machines were working to check in. Had to wait in a queue for over 30 minutes to check in. The following day to check out the queue was so long, I just left the cards on the desk. Following day I had around 20 bug bites, that could only have been when my skin was exposed, which was when I was in bed. The breakfast was very good but the coffee seemed a little watery, but not unpalatable.
J. B.
We really enjoyed our stay here, 2 adults and a 13 year old in 1 room. Great breakfasts, service and really friendly and helpful staff. An excellent central location too. Thoroughly recommend for a good value stay.
M.
Good as can get with premier inn, two members of staff in particular, Hazel evening meal and yussuf breakfast service excellent customer service.
Buffet breakfast was good start to the day, rooms OK but no views.
MUCH BETTER than PI kings cross!!
F. L.
Really bad internet connection, also when paying 5£ extra (room 530).
Payment at arrival !
Rest worked fine.
H. F.
Easy check in. Standard premier inn room which was cleaned to high standard. Very good soundproofing. Large restaurant area for eating and bar.
P. C.
Came to do the Shine Night walk half marathon for Cancer Research. Needed a quiet hotel close to the finish line, open after midnight with comfortable clean beds and a filling breakfast. Premier Inn delivered everything we needed !
S. R.
Very clean, good value (paid £90 for a zone 1 area room 2 mins from a main station mid week), unusually big rooms for the location.
S. P.
Arrived early to leave our bags, (11.30), room ready so able to check in. Check in quick & easy. First impressions really good
J. H.
Really nice stay, staff were great, rooms and recommend having the breakfast set us up for the day and really good on price.
D. S.
Always reliable although we endured problems with in-room heating and the check-in system on the latest visit, all resolved eventually.
L. P.
Very big hotel. Great location close to the sites of interest. Good food and service. Rooms were very nice and clean.
T. T.
Thehotel maybe its not the newest but its clean has friendly staff and it's excellent located. Breakfasts could be more differentiated.
C. B.
Comfortable bed & pillows. Restaurant not open (Covid issue maybe). No facilities but the shower delivered lovely hot water 🙂

This is mine and my family second time staying at the Blackfriars Premier Inn. We cannot fault it at all, lovely welcoming staff, that were absolutely fantastic! Clean room, tasty food with excellent service. Can't wait for our stay with them next year!
s. d.
Just what you expect from the purple prison, clean and professional, the breakfast was outstanding though, properly cooked bacon was a pleasant change for London.
c. h.
This was a great place to stay for our trip to London. It was about 15 mins walk to covent garden. Its located 2 mins from blackfriars underground and has a Tesco Express and Sainsburys just round the corner.
There was a mix up with the room, but this was resolved quickly. The staff were friendly , helpful and accommodating. Plenty of covid measures still in place, eg asking people to use anti bac and wear masks...although some people choosing not to, which is a shame.
I would stay here again! Thank you.
D. C.
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. The manager and her staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is in a good location and is very clean. Breakfast was also good , a lot better then most other premier we have stay in. Will definitely stay here again next time in London .
L. L.
Excellent location on numerous bus routes. Clean, friendly helpful staff excellent breakfast lots of choice.
M. L.
Good Premier inn - good location. A little pricey but not outrageous compared to other establishments in the area!!
E. n.
Staff are so helpful and polite with everything explained clearly, we felt very welcome. There was no waiting around. The place was very clean and the breakfast we had was on point with a veriaty to choose from.
D. O.
Well situated very clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff
H. E.
The hotel staff are excellent but if you need anything you have to go down to reception
N. W.
Lovely staff, clean hotel rooms. Will definitely be staying here again
R. G.
Nice, comfy hotel. Helpful staff. Nice sized room & toilet. Clean & tidy. Nice lobby & bar.
J. C.
Great location!
Clean
Great value for money, especially the breakfast!
r. P.
The hotel itself is good but most of staff arenot. They behave so weird and unprofessional. The hotel nealy was empty. There were more staff than guest. My drama started when I went to reception to let them know I extended my stay. When I came back I saw housekeeper on the phone next to my room. I saw they entered my room despite not asking them. No problem I went to nearby cafe shop and when I came back I asked receptionist to check if my room was ready then I saw housekeeper coming to me your room is ready. When I went to my room I saw eyerythong is just a mass and they did not do anthing. I am one person and tidy and I do not carry luggage. They 100 percent were up to sometging but I dont know exactly what it was. I came downstairs and ask for different room. I already paid for it othewise I woul have gone to different hotel. No wonder is empty dispite being in heart of London. Put people in this hotel who does their job not crimialy minded.
K. B.
Quiet, clean, nice room, helpful staff, loverly breakfast 😋 Closed to Blackfriars Underground Station
C. K.
Couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. Didn't hear a thing at night considering we were in the middle of London
A. F.
Hotel was as expected.
Housekeeping need to look at the reservations a bit closer and try putting enough towels in the rooms.
S.
Everything you expect from a premier inn & the staff are incredible!! This is tucked away from the main road so it is very quiet & very close to blackfriars station. Highly recommended!!!
N. H.
Absolutely brilliant stay, staff we're friendly and super helpful. Superb location for running along the Thames... Couldn't recommend highly enough and fab prices too. Xx
A.
Friendly staff, clean rooms , on site bar and dining .Good location
D. M.
Great location, just round the corner from St. Pauls Cathedral.
Really pleasant staff, will definitely use this hotel in the future..
..
Had a really great experience with lovely staff, nice bar downstairs too
R. G.
Very conveniently located next to good places to eat out. Only a 20- minute walk from Trafalgar Square. Friendly service. Nice and comfortable. Great breakfast.
W.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Would recommend to anyone visiting London.
D. M.
Really impressed with this hotel, I was a little unsure about booking it initially as I wasn’t so familiar with its location but it’s so close to Blackfriars tube but you can get anywhere quickly.
We had a basement room which initially I didn’t like the sound of, but it was a decent size and was well lit so actually worked quite well for us.
We stayed for four days and had breakfast each day, there wasn’t much wait for a table on the selection of hot and cold food was very good.
All the staff we encountered from checking onwards were helpful and polite, we will defiantly use this Premier Inn again.
T. W.
Great location, only a 5 min walk to st Paul's and a stone's throw from black friars tube station. Friendly staff and nice breakfasts
A. L.
Price wise is a good solution for the area. Location is perfect for business or city tourism
C. S.
Moved here after flooding issues at Euston Premier Inn, hotel clean, staff friendly, great location but if I had paid Blackfriars Premier Inn price rather than Euston Premier Inn price then I'm not sure I would be happy as nearly double the price & they couldn't even put the toilet paper in the dispenser they left it on the side & I had to ask for more towels as only 1 in the room.....little things but these are the basics!!
S. M.
I have stayed here before and thought this was a great facility - it is still pretty good but the cistern for the toilet in my room took ages to refill and you could hear running water at night for quite some time. The staff are good and the price is pretty good if booked in advance. The underground and train stations are fairly close by. Buses can also offer a good way to see the city while travelling.
I. T.
Clean, tidy and modern rooms
Staff are nice and friendly
Good lobby and bar area
The piri piri chicken is great
Its very central for getting about London on your plates
N. C.
Brilliant location and the price because of the weird way the world is today was exceptional ! Great room, had to get a couple more pillows which was handled very safely by reception. You step back, they put the pillows already in sanitised bags on a table, they move away, you go forward to pick them up! Felt sorry for causing all that but they were very gracious. Slept well, and very close to everything I like
P. T.
Very good breakfast and clean rooms
L. K.
Great value - clean, excellent location, had all I needed - note that hand/body/hair soap dispensers were only toiletries provided. Iron requested from reception arrived quickly. Hairdryer was in room. Extensive delicious breakfast. Reception can be busy but excellent staff willing to go the extra mile including a nice Italian who hand made hot chocolate for me. Thanks!
S. K.
Externally a tad depressing, but brilliant inside. The rooms were great, and the restaurant/bar area was excellent, one of the best I've seen at a Premier Inn. Staff were lovely, helpful and always polite.
k. b.
Very friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast and near to the tube station a few minutes walk away. Reasonably priced too for London, what's not to love ?
M. O.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Most comfortable bed and clean room. Surprisingly quiet at night for the centre of London. Delicious meal each evening & great breakfast! Recommended!
A. L.
Delightful friendly staff. This is a new hotel. Everything pristine. We had a bigger room than in more prestigious hotels, so if space is significant, choose this hotel. Lovely comfy bed and a very good breakfast, and the staff were still communicative and very cheerful. So quiet and none of the usual London noise.
D. R.
A very pleasant stay. Great sized family room. Quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was great and staff were excellent x
j. a.
Had a great stay, hotel was in a brilliant location and staff were helpful. Only down side was my friend and I had a twin room, one bed being a sofa bed, not great for an adult. Should think about having some twin rooms with proper single beds in them, plenty of room to do this.
G. C.
Great location and facilities. A restaurant with lots of options and well priced. Lovely staff who made a real effort to welcome us. Well priced for the location and facilities offered. As a young family the size of the room was adequate and there were sweets left on the kids beds which was a lovely touch. Extremely clean too. Not a smudge or loose hair in sight. Never stayed at a Premier Inn before but would highly recommend on this experience alone. I would be a very proud hotel manager if I ran Blackfriars 👍👍👍
R. C.
Very comfortable bed, clean room and en suite
M. W.
Great location and Premier in quality, so many poor quality hotels in London but Premier in you know what you are going to get 👍
A. J.
Stayed for a week with my family. Very quiet on a side street, away from the traffic. Perfecf location close to the tube, shops and London's sights. The staff were very friendly and always helpful.
Breakfast was fairly basic but very nice with plenty of choice. They are serving a few hundred guests every day, so we made sure we ate early, around 07:00, well before the rush. The kids ate for free so it's hard to complain. As we expected the family room was quiet small, but it was clean and a decent size for the price and location.
Will definitely stay here again.
H. B.
The quietest Hotel. Great night sleep.
R. B.
Good location, clean rooms, comfy beds, nice bar. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the lounge area with table seating, power plugs, private screens for your laptop. Only problem is the water pressure is almost nil. No room safes. Lots of restaurant and public transit options nearby.
M. F.
Absolutely loved the hotel, superb service as always.
B. P.
Not a bad version of the chain. Basement room which was large. Could not really complain
J. C.
Quiet and comfortable, pleasant surprise for a central London hotel
E.
Great spot, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Had a great sleep. Staff were happy to look after our bags after we'd checked out. Note, the interior lobby and bar / restaurant has been refurbished since the Google photos taken here. Much nicer now.
A. d. B.
Location, cleanliness, layout and all round service was an absolute pleasure!
R. H.
During my visit to this Premier Inn I can say that the rooms are definitely up to standard for the brand and the social areas in the lobby are very nice. Unfortunately the service in the evening at the restaurant was far from satisfying, the staff were very slow to take orders and clear the table when needed. Overall the Premier Inn here is a great place to stay for the night, great rooms and location. I am however very skeptical about the restaurant at this particular hotel. (Just a disclaimer, I'm happy to amend the review in the future when necessary)
A. B.
Clean comfortable rooms, good service, nicely cooked breakfast. Very convenient for attractions/events in the City or on the River Thames
H. B.
Good value and location. One negative was room was not serviced despite requests
S. G.
Lovely location a stones throw away from Blackfriars station. Staff are friendly and attentive, bar has good selection of beers. I didn't eat in the evening but breakfast was as youd expect at a Premier Inn. Again, always filled up and warm. Great amenities nearby too. Wouldn't hesitate in staying here again
C. F.
Here for one night. Super convenient to get to from Blackfriars station, just a two minute walk. Arrived late but was just in time for last food orders which was 10pm. Room was clean and large but in the basement so no view. Bathroom was huge but nothing much in it. Bed was super comfy and room was very quiet all night. Note there is no iron or ironing board in the room, you have to ask for it. Shower was hot to start with but went cold after five minutes. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet for just over £10. Staff were great all the way through. All that said, I still feel the room was expensive at just under £200 for the night.
D. K.
Very comfortable stay, lovely staff and food.
c.
The room was bigger than it looked in the photo on their website - first time ever! Practical, cosy, clean. Very close to St. Paul’s & Blackfriars stations, quite convenient! Pretty much what you can ask for from a hotel.
One thing got onto our nerves though - the self check in machine didn’t work! They get all your info and didn’t give you the card, and you’ll end up still queue at the counter...! Quite annoying.
D. K.
I stayed here for business reasons as I was working close by. You absolutely can't fault the hotel in terms of being conveniently located and reasonably priced for that. It is very busy though which is not surprising but still the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Also the rooms were quiet which is nice. So, overall, I can highly recommend this hotel.
J. H.
I have just had a 2 night stay with my daughter and 2 young grandchildren as we were attending a family wedding nearby. The hotel was easy to find and within easy walking distance of Blackfriars station. We had checked in online so merely had to print out our room receipt and key cards from a machine in the foyer so there was no need to queue at reception. The room was okay but a bit of a squash with the two extra beds for the children. However this was more than made up for by the spectacularly helpful staff throughout the hotel. Having bought my grandson a toy bus we needed a screwdriver to get it out of the box. Although the receptionist couldn't help us straight away she made sure that a suitable tool was on hand when we came back in later. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and with 2 young children in tow it was very much appreciated! Well done everyone!
G. O.
Customer service could be better, talking to staff for long periods of time without acknowledging guests at the desk is a tad disrespectful. Rooms are as expected, comfortable bed no views but you get your money's worth. Breakfast spread is good with constant replishing of hot food options.
L. F.
Very nice hotel which has just been refurbished in the reception, bar & restaurant areas. We stayed in a family room on basement level and it was very spacious for the four of us. Breakfast was great quality and plentiful. Really close to Underground station but also a nice walk to Embankment & Westminster with plenty to see and learn on the way. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would visit again.
M. A.
Lovely clean & spotless in all areas. Stayed here 3 times over 18 month period. Food is ok too. Quite a busy place. We always ordered cabs to take us wherever we were going. Not far from the riverside & close to some London sights . Definitely stay here again. Very close to King Cross in a cab. Only about 10 mins max. Walking distance to the courts & chambers if you need that!
Staff were helpful & courteous.
C. F.
I regularly stay at this hotel as it's a great location for work or sightseeing in London. The rooms are great and the staff extremely helpful. Only downside I have experienced is the restaurant can be a bit hit and miss, great food one stay and not great another, plenty of places to eat nearby though if you don't want to take the risk, also had huge issues getting wet in the shower as the water pressure is so low. Very expensive for a premier inn that really needs a bit of tlc to bring it up to standard. Other than that I've had a great stay most times I've been here and the beds are very comfortable 😄
C. L.
We stayed at Premier Inn Blackfriars for 4 days whilst we did the tour of London. The service was superb, the bedrooms simple but clean and comfortable, the breakfast was fabulous and also catered for my gluten free needs. The lounge area was very comfortable and inviting. The location was extremely central and we were able to walk or catch the on off bus or the train to all the tourist destinations. All 4 of us highly recommend a stay here and we will stay here again when we are next in London. Thank you.
M. B.
We booked Family Room. Little bit disappointed when we arrive, we expected also for kids proper beds, but it was much smaller. Room was dark and there were no towels and cups for 4 People in the room. Anyway we asked hsk about more towels and bar staff for more glasses. Otherwise room was clean and comfy and aircon worked well.
But! Hotel staff was really great, was hellpfull and kind and they brought some surprise for kids.
Breakfast was really good, great choice of hot and cold food and beverage.
Pizza for dinner unfortunatelly was not that good.
In general, I would stay again!
M. W. (.
I stay here most times I am working in our London offices and need a single overnight. Perfect for single night business travel, though the restaurant choices are no longer to my tastes. Good beds, quiet rooms, reasonable prices. Obviously, neither gym nor swim so less favourable for extended stays if you like these facilities (as I do).
C. S.
I love this hotel it's my little London secret because it's quite cheap if you book in advance and it has a great location next to the train/underground station. Rooms are big enough for London and the beds are soooo comfy. Check-in is very fast if you check-in online your key will be ready when you arrive, which is a plus. Would definitely recommend.
A. C.
Great place to stay, easy to walk for London sights
J. T.
Excellent service with easy online checking in, room was extremely clean and perfect as the place to crash after a long day in London seeing the sights.
It's all worth paying for the breakfast as it's a buddy with lots of choice and you can revisit as often as you want, though it can get very busy!
The bar was good with very pleasant staff and the happy hour was very popular as a start to our evening out.
All in all, this was a brilliant hotel to stay in and being right in the centre of everything made it perfect.
Thanks Premier Inn
S. R.
Love Premier Inn. Quiet, efficient, friendly. London Blackfriars was a great location and the public spaces are great. The downside was that the bedroom was unusually small, as was the bed itself. The mattress was worn, rolling us into the middle. However we still slept well. The breakfast promised much .... Costa Coffee no less, but although there was lots of choice, none of it was cooked very well and the coffee came from a button press machine and was unpleasant. I'm still a fan of Premier Inn but this experience fell short.
A. C.
Fab location so close to the underground and on a quiet street off the main road. Very, very comfortable and quiet. Food is fabulous both breakfast and restaurant. The staff are so friendly and nothing is any bother, always there to help. The Premier Inn Blackfriars is our number one choice when staying in London.
K. S.
Amazing hotel really clean and tidy wonderful location with Blackfriars station literally round the corner. Staff are very friendly, helpful and approachable really went above and beyond when the manager found out it was my lads 8th birthday putting balloons and sweets in our room for him! We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast but that was great massive selection both the continental and cooked selections really nice. Can't praise the place enough will not hesitate to go back hopefully in August!
R. P.
Friendly and very helpful staff in the evening. Clean rooms. Publicly available lavatories not very clean and partly broken for several days, despite informing the staff about it. Breakfast selection typical british. Would've loved to see some more international food besides all that greasy food. Also, the plates were super hot and the kids burned their fingers. The staff just responded "just take some tissues and grab the plates with those, if they are too hot for you or your kids." ...
I. H.
Hotel is nice and clean. General service you would expect. Staff are very friendly. Room was comfortable and breakfast options were decent.
Stayed for 3 nights. Room was always cleaned in my absence
R. W.
Pleasant Premier Inn hotel, not too expensive considering it is central London. Very well placed for most attractions, theatres, Blackfriars Tube station is 3 minutes away. Very clean, good breakfast. Reasonable bar and restaurant.
S. E.
Stayed here on a visit to London. Our room was clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the meal deal for the evening meal and breakfast in the morning which was good value. One observation yo note, is that it was chaotic at breakfast time. It was a Thursday morning, really busy early on with not enough staff clearing tables etc. The hotel itself is in a great location hence the 4 star rating.
B. G.
Nice hotel in the center of London, very compact and rooms are very spread apart, <2 min walk to the Blackfriars Tube station. The food is good and the beds are comfy. It could do with some TLC and the reception staff are a bit slow, but overall good.
L. M.
The rooms are very comfortable and have free WiFi, hairdriers and coffee in the rooms. The bar area is large and really nice to sit in, with comfortable seating. We had a very poor experience with dining however. The food was delicious, but the wait staff forgot about us and another table. We had to ask for our next course, and they forgot what we ordered, then were told they had run out of the food we ordered.
J. W.
Everything was great. Rang through at half 6 in the morning to request an iron and it was delivered to my room less than 10 minutes later. Breakfast was excellent. I'm a vegetarian and even though quorn sausages were advertised they weren't on offer from the buffet. I imagine if I'd have asked then some would have been cooked for me though. There was more than enough other items to fill me up! Great location as well.
L. B.
The service and quality of the room was absolutely perfect. The food choices for dinner and breakfast were great, and the price was very good, considering how close it is to public transit and being in the City.
One note: there was not a single fresh vegetable in sight for the breakfast buffet, unless you count the hash browns. ;)
t. w.
The place is huge! The cleanliness of the room was impeccable and the beds just as comfortable as at home I would definitely recommend staying at this place if you're in central london and also getting the breakfasts on a morning if you can they were very delicious and the all you can eat factor made it perfect!
M. R.
This a great location with clean and well presented rooms. The communal areas are bright and modern and food is ok. The staff were young and enthusiastic but a little immature... More focused on goofing around than delivering a quality service.
S. H.
A great Premier Inn. Brilliant bar and restaurant area usually well staffed so deliver good service. Superb breakfast!! Rooms starting to get a little old looking compared to new Premier Inns but not had a bad nights sleep here so no complaints (except could do with a bigger TV in the room!) The staff make this place, a happy chirpy team 24/7.
T. R.
Spent 3 nights here over new year with husband and daughter.
This will be our go to premier Inn from now on due to location, facilities and extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond for our daughter who has severe food allergies.
Relaxed bar and restaurant area, clean and modern and really comfortable bed. Will definitely be back.
W. N.
Excellent excellent excellent. Staff were wonderful and genuinely nice. Helped me print off my boarding pass and helpful in helping me to connect to wife. Waiting staff were the same. Patient helpful and genuine. Rooms were spotless. Towels n bedding also. I think this premier needs a pat on the head indeed. I'll be back!
M. M.
I travelled from Glasgow to London for work.
I stayed in the Premier Inn @ Blackfriars for 2 nights.
I canno't rate this hotel enough on service at check-in, food, cleanliness, friendliness, really comfy beds, efficiency, music (within the restaurant/bar area) & overall service.
I would stay here again & recommend to others to stay.
Gutted to be going home tomorrow!
Fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. X
M. H.
Looks can be deceiving. I was really impressed with this hotel. Wasn't too sure from the outside, but the interior is clean, modern and more than what I expected. Breakfast was tasty and staff were helpful. The location is great and you are within walking distance to lots of attractions, but also only a short walk to the nearest tube station.
L. B.
Great hotel in good area near underground and trains to airports. Room was big enough for family of four, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only caveat is trying to contact hotel during off hours - did not succeed in contacting them to let them know of a delay in arrival. Recommended highly.

Great room but wouldn't do the evening meal again . Was told to book a table as it was busy then when we arrived for our booked time it wasn't busy just a few families.took ages to be served and when we ordered they upgraded our meal without telling us until we paired and then looked at the receipt and noticed after and I went to get my refund. Had to ask for the pudding after 4 members of staff walked past us after we had finished and didn't take our plated or ask us if we wanted our dessert. But would stay again but have a meal else where
K. A.
Great place to sleep for multiple nights and the bed was super comfortable just like the ads said
M. C.
Arrived on Sunday 16th June. First impressions were good: clean, spacious reception area. Staff were very helpful on arrival. Room on first floor was nice although noise from room above was evident. After a change on Tuesday morning to a room on the 1st floor, everything else was very good. The restaurant is really good, with very friendly staff!
S. R.
Nice staff a little slow on reception, breakfast was okay not great though... The room was fine and a very comfy bed we slept well. The distance from the underground was a very short walk and there was a lot to do within walking distance from this premiere inn. We would stay here again.
M. H.
Very good hotel. Communal areas and bedrooms clean and smart. Reception really helpful. Good breakfasts and dinner. All staff exceedingly helpful, friendly and happy 😄. Location close to Blackfriers and well within walking distance to west end.
P. D.
Perfect overnight stay. Warm, clean.
S. G.
Wonderful location , staff were friendly and gave excellent service. My Grandson left his i-phone in the hotel room after we checked out . The lady who cleaned the room found the phone and handed it in.After the hotel phoned me I was able to pop back and pick it up befor catching the coach home. In this day and age I was amazed to get the phone back and cannot thank the lady enough. A huge thankyou to all the staff for making our trip to london a truly wonderful experience.
G. M.
Very central to everything, staff couldn't be more helpful, even proving complimentary hot chocolate due to the cold weather outside. Outstanding hotel, we will definetly be back. The only down side is the big poster in the bar area stating food served all day, when in actual fact its just breakfast and dinner.
R. W.
It's a premier inn. You know what you're getting. WiFi was indeed rubbish, but showers still had decent pressure and temperature even at busy times in the morning.
Providing you're just looking for a well-priced place to sleep and have breakfast, can't really go wrong.
M. V.
We stayed here for three nights. It was a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable. The staff were helpful. The location was amazing! It wasn't fancy but it met our needs at an affordable cost in London.
M. T.
Fabulous friendly staff, especially Nicolette in the restaurant. Extremely clean and lovely food. See you in July.
C. A. M.
Handy location near Blackfriars station. Clean and quiet. However be aware that your room does not have a safe, mini fridge or telephone. Toilet tissue wasn't replenished by daily housekeeping leaving us to ask for more. Took 3 requests before iron and ironing board was made available.
N. K.
Good family rooms, excellent City of London location for visiting St Paul's and Tate Modern, a short walk from Blackfriars station. Breakfast is a bit of a bun fight at peak times. Good service from staff as always with Premier Inn.
P. L.
Lovely breakfast. Clean and friendly. Would stay again. Have been back and was still good however key card system in these hotels fail quite often, room for improvement.
C. P.
Clean and quiet. Good location for Central London
J. A.
Lovely nights sleep peaceful and very central
N. N.
Great location just 2 minutes from Blackfriars station. Self check in worked smoothly. Rooms were the usual standard Premier inn and thats what i needed after a long journey. Staff seemed professional. Only stayed 1 night so not a bad place to rest your head.
S. B.
Pretty impressed with my stay at the Premier Inn compared to other hotels in the area. It was very clean, spaceous enough, and the bed was nice and comfy. Breakfast was also a highlight.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars were a weak shower, and the TV
was tiny.
R. C.
Excellent..Staff really good and friedly. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I. B.
Second time using here and it’s perfect for exploring around London. Tube station nearby. The area is slightly out of the way and the shops close early. Rooms are perfect for short stays and the buffet breakfast was nice
C.
From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed and found the staff to be polite, friendly helpful and approachable (particularly Cupid, he was brilliant upon arrival!) lovely breakfast, clean and spacious rooms and good location can’t fault anything will definitely be returning thank you for having us!
L. C.
Excellent central location for visiting tourist attractions. Room comfortable, reasonable size with an ensuite. Towels provided are ok, some could do with replacing as had one with fraying edging. Toilet paper is rubbish budget 'one square at a time' dispenser. Didn't use the restaurant but seemed busy all the time.
B. M.
Excellent hotel for the price. Extremely pleasant staff and spot less rooms and common areas. The hotel is set back from all busy streets so its very calm at night without any noise at all. There is a restaurant there and that's it - but you don't come to city centre London and spend all day in the pool. Very good price for service too and very near blackfriars tube.
M. L. G.
We were put in a room for the disabled, which was weird, but the amenities were still good. Breakfast was delicious, but not included in the cost of the room. Good location close to the Underground. Overall, good experience at the hotel.
D. C.
This is one of the best premier Inn hotels. Cozy, friendly and with a relaxed atmosphere, it is perfect for a longer stay. The staff are exellent, the rooms and food are good and it is close to the centre of the city. The area is very quiet, which is difficult to believe, but it is well served by public transport and only a 20-30 minute walk from trafalgar square.
L. C.
Rooms are small. Can get noisy at times. Bathroom was leaking, got room changed but staff didn't seem concerned about fixing the leak. No safe box. Location is good, close to Blackfriars station.
A. D.
The hotel staff was great. Everything was neat and clean. The food was very good and delicious. We will visit them again. A++
S. A.
Had an overnight stay here for a two-day theatre trip with a friend and we were both delighted . probably the nicest Premier Inn Ive stayed at. Relaxing bar, dining and reception area and friendly staff . and you kbow what youre getting with the rooms. A great location for easy walks to the embankment and favourites like the Tate Modern, Globe and National Theatre. will be my first choice for future visits!
A. T.
A good hotel for the price in London. Rooms are clean and reasonably sized by London standards at this price range. The beds are comfy. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is very central so easy to get around.
The cons;
- They throttle internet speed and make you re-sign every 10 min or so unless you upgrade.
- The shower pressure is poor. Not bad for a short stay but annoying after a few days.
- You have to pay as you go on meals / drinks etc and can't pay the bill at the end.
I would have given 4 stars but poor internet is a bug bear for me.
h. e.
Nice clean hotel in a good location for st Paul's and the Thames. Only criticism is the eating area is too small for the number of guests which means there can be queues for breakfast.
E. M.
Excellent accomodation right in the heart of London, everything you need around you staff were a joy and very polite
M. R.
Excellent stay. Big room, nice breakfast and super friendly staff. Definitely would stay again. Be aware that the free internet you get is very slow but other than that everything was perfect
B. R.
Only staid one night but I guess it was just an average experience for a premier Inn, plus side it was all central and within walking distance to some good sites in London. I thought £186 was extortionate for one night but I'm around the area we staid that was one of the cheapest.
M. O.
Great location for the tube and a short walk to London eye. It is also in walking distance to Covent garden. Breakfast was busy but nice and tasty. The bar prices not bad either for London. Worth a stay.
O. H.
Excellent experience, breakfast was served fast the room was also cool! What else can you ask for?
L. B.
Lovely clean hotel with great staff however I stayed in room 405 and was woken up in the night by my bed shaking. I was alone in the room and had been fast asleep..... I admit I was too scared to open my eyes to see why my bed was shaking but having never experienced it before I knew something wasn't right. Did I imagine it? Definitely not. Would it stop me staying there? Certainly not :-)
S. R.
Good location, very near Blackfriars tube and overground train station with a couple of convenience shops just around the corner for necessities. The staff were all very pleasant and accomodating when needed. It's a standard Premier Inn, so you know what you're getting.
M. B.
We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights whilst visiting London at a weekend. The location is ideal as it's just minutes from the underground station and nearby shops. The staff are very friendly and the breakfasts are so delicious. Would certainly come here again!
A. P.
The place could not be more suitable for those seeking a central London location at a reasonable price. We added breakfast to our stay which was well stocked and full of variety. Would recommend this for businesses or leisure stays of a couple of days.
I. M.
Lovely place staff very friendly food and free glass of champagne /orange juice. Very handy place for sightseeing. If flying to Gatwick (get oyster card here) get train to blackfriars station only costs about £9. The train was very quiet, not like getting train to Victoria train station, which is very overcrowded.
B. B.
Just returned from 3 night break.Hotel a few minutes from Blackfriars tube and rail stations.Staff were fantastic and rooms were clean and comfortable.Location is in a nice quiet street with no noise at night.Great base for seeing London! Plan to use again in the future.
L. J.
It's fairly standard for a Premier Inn. Clean room, decent shower, and the bed is fine. The price of some nights can be a bit eye-watering though, even for London. £170 for one night is just crazy.
N. G.
Very good located near the London Eye, London Bridge, Tower Bridge etc. The room is very big and the bad and pillow very comfy. The breakfast was delicious and vast. 10 stars for the Hotel personnel. They speak very nice and they are very patient.
N. M.
Good base for seeing central London.Quiet location close to Blackfriars tube and river walks. Also close to St Paul's. Staff are extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A great base. Would use again.
H. P.
Good points.. location.comfort. cleanliness and friendly staff
Bad points .. noisy drunken party waking us up at 1.30 am . Lack of coffee in room . Not being able to get a coffee in the bar at 10.45.
Otherwise good stay
C. T.
It's a very bare bones hotel. Small rooms. No wash cloths in the bathroom. One soap for all needs. No in room fridge. No iron for pressing clothes. Bed was fine. Elevators are terribly slow. Take the stairs.
m. c.
Very comfortable and clean hotel. Good cafe bar area and our room situated at side was quiet ..also good location for tubes a short walk away...
I. T.
Friendly staff, rooms clean and ample. We had a family get together one afternoon and the staff thoroughly looked after us. Right in the heart of London, will definately be back.
M. K.
Lovely room. Bought meal deal however they did not explain they would be charging extra on top. Still don't know why we paid extra £5 for drink and £4 for meal
G.
Nice clean hotel. The hotel was up to the usual Premier Inn standard. The rooms were a reasonable side and nice and quiet. The breakfast was nice, one of the better Premiere Inns I have stayed at. I would go again.
A. O.
Great location in London, 20min walk to London Bridge, 30min walk to Tower Bridge, 30min walk to Westminster Abbey. If you don't like to walk both the District and Central Line Tube is a literal 2min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, comfortable, and modern with staff available 24hrs a day. I highly recommend this place
D. M.
Great location great staff and really good breakfast. Family room was also perfect for our short break. Walking distance to London eye and st Paul’s cathedral.
S. B.
Restaurant was good but the room I was in was cold and the bathroom even colder. For some reason I was in the disabled room so did not appreciate that so have marked down accordingly. Breakfast was great staff were good.
K. F.
Good standard hotel. Great size rooms for central London. Staff were friendly and the beds were very comfy. Can be a little nosy.
M. S.
Lovely caring staff, Clean, accessible from the near by blackfriars tube station (which has the perk of using a lift crucial for me as I was traveling with my wife and 1&5 years old sons using a pram), furniture and room fitting in great condition; not the newly furnished though, left couple of bags with them at the day of check out and collect it at the end of the day.
All on all it was a trouble free stay.
M.
Premier Inn rooms are reliably standard and clean and this was no different. The food served is particularly poor. I stayed for two nights and both times the meals were cold and slow
K. L.
Great staff good value for money in a great location. the room was very clean and the maid service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.
m. a.
This hotel is brilliant, the staff absolutely make it a great stay 🏩❤️
M. B.
Everything the Premier Inn advertises, clean, well furnished rooms, comfortable beds, lovely bright surroundings in reception/breakfast area and efficient, polite staff. Would highly recommend. In fact, would look for Premier Inns every time over other competitors.
F. L.
Very good location, comfortable double room. Good breakfast but overcrowded after 8.30 am. Cons, no refrigerator in three room, no international power plugs, only UK. Get up earlier to have an easy and good breakfast
S. M.
Brilliant stay, central and close by walking distance to almost everything
Rooms very comfortable staff couldn't do enough and manager made us very welcome Very approachable very friendly and full of humour would definitely stay here again
Meals evening excellent
Breakfast amazing
A. M.
Great place to stay with good connections to the rest of london. Breakfast was good but can get really busy at 7:30 onwards. Room was brilliant and clean
g. s.
Good -
Accommodation is fine, location is good, staff are friendly. Breakfast good.
Less good -
Automated check-in doesn't seem reliable at all. Staff unable to correct errors on receipt. No one ever answers the phone.
P. G.
Fantastic place! Very nice staff 👍
J. S.
Reasonable 4* I reckon. Not tried the restaurant attached. Nice clean hotel, easy to check in. 3 lifts which we've not been kept waiting for yet and good location, plenty of bars around here.
D. W.
Usually enjoy staying at this Premier Inn, on this occasion the room got a bit hot so the air conditioning, which was a little noisy, had to be left on. It was tolerable on slowest fan speed, just, so slept ok in the end. Bed as ever comfortable.
P. C.
What a fabulous Premier Inn. So clean. Such friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was spot on too!
(The beds are smaller than the usual Premier Inns we have stayed in...)
W. H.
It's a Premier Inn, they're consistently decent. Bed is good, but wifi is paid. Location is good but no ironing board in the room. Delivers what you'd expect for the price.
G. N.
I love this London hotel. Spotlessly clean with teally cpmfy bed, tv and tea/coffee/water. Small area to work from if you need to. Good WiFi, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast buffet for £10 which has everything (hot/cold/cereal/fruit/pastries) and very near London City. I always try and stay here when in London. Highly recommend for business trip or weekend trip.
I. B.
The best experience in a Premiere Inn I have ever had. The room was spacious as ever and very quiet great bed nice bathroom and very high quality breakfast for a Premiere Inn. Nice and quiet zone of course the prize is higher due to London factor.
A. G.
Although slightly pricier than other premier inns that we have visited, this premier inn was by far the best value for money we could find in central London. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept all night. The breakfast was also busy, but again the location explains this phenomenon. All in all, we would stay here again after a night out in London despite living only a 30 minute train journey from the nearby Blackfriars station.
a. b.
Perfect hotel for families. Nice stuff. Explained about London and provided help and more whenever needed. Good air conditioned room. Great bath.
c. b.
Staff really helpful. Food good. Room was typical of Premier Inn. Double room but only one set of towels but staff sorted this extremely quickly.
W.
Restaurant seems under staffed and busy, the area and the closest underground station are nice and quiet. The room is clean and tidy. I've stayed in a few Premier Inn's around London and it's hard to put my finger on it but we prefer the others we've been too.
s. m.
When in London I always stay here. Central to all my needs, clean, friendly staff and decent food. Tube station close by and within easy walk of tourist haunts.
N. S.
I would have rated this 5 stars if I had met Lenny Henry inside. I did not. Therefore this hotel only gets 4. Still, not bad. Use for close access to the City of London, nice view of the Thames and short distance to Westminster.
C. F.
Great location if you are visiting London for the first time . The rooms are clean .service and breakfast is excellent.
The place is well connected with the underground network ..and not overcrowded with tourists .
R. C.
Clean, modern, sensible price. I wonder if the rooms here have been refurbished fairly recently, mine (on the lower ground floor) had USB charging sockets built in on either side of the bed.
j. m.
I loved staying here 100% couldn't fault the place was great location staff were amazing the meals they had were very good value. Couldn't recommend this premier inn more highly loved it
A. B.
Good central hotel, close to embankment great to walk out from and explore. Close to theatre land so we walked to the show. Walked to the shard also, London Bridge ,tower bridge , the eye. As for hotel great helpful staff, good food , comfy bed. Brill
Q. B.
1 Street away from river Thames and 2mins easy flat walk from Blackfriars station. Tesco express 30seconds away handy for snacks late at night. Very modern clean inside. Breakfast cooked food was not brilliant but service excellent. Nice little bar. My 7th floor room had a view of the London eye in the distance. Easy quick check in also with self service option
F. T.
I've stayed here 3 times. I find it to be in an excellent location with easy tube and bus access. Very short walk to StPauls area too. Room has always been clean, queit and reasonably priced.
C. B.
The premier inn in Holborn is nicer but this place isn't bad. It has a bar. I didn't try the breakfast. Beer selection in the bar was good. Bed was comfortable, shower was fine.
J. S.
Tidy room - good breakfast. Very crowded .
V. A.
Very welcoming and friendly service
L. S.
Excellent spot, great value and friendly helpful staff. Super handy to the tube but also a nice waking distance to the centre. Comfortable and clean. Second time staying here and not disappointed. Thanks!!
A.
This is a great hotel. Nice spacious rooms, decent air conditioning that manages to keep up with the 2 extremes of weather that England gets, and a nice restaurant that serves great food
I.
Nice Premier Inn. Good location; just a short walk to Blackfriars station (tube and train) and St. Paul's Cathedral. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Co-Op and M&S in short walking range, and streets full of eating places. Nice, clean, standard rooms, and a good breakfast buffet, if somewhat small. Friendly staff.
M. M.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was very central, right next to a tube station. Great choices for food and drinks here. Would definitely visit again
T. D.
Situated a stones throw from Blackfriars Tube (a 5 minute walk over the road) This Premier Inn only opened last year so you would expect it to tick all the boxes, and it does just that.
Hotel staff are cheerful, polite and accommodating without being over bearing. Rooms spotless, ours was on the top floor, three lifts so you were outside your room in a few minutes.
As I said, very clean, comfy bed, two pillows each, TV with freeview (and USB, an extra bonus) lovely powerful shower, the usual tea making facilities etc. The only one thing missing was a shower mat, it got a bit slippery in there and you had to take care when exiting!
We paid the extra for breakfast on the two morning we were there (about £8 per day) and its well worth it, buffet style help yourself, cereals, fruit and yoghurt, croissants, muffins, the 'full English' (Bacon, scrambled egg, sausages etc) toast (loved the grill style toaster) tea, coffee, juices....early morning heaven.
In all honesty I can't find fault with the place, and when I return for another break in this great City, this place will again be first stop.
(Note the entrance to the Hotel is on the adjacent Bridewell Place)
A. H.
Stayed overnight with my boyfriend as we were seeing a performance in the West End. Excellent location with great tube links, friendly and accommodating staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely consider staying here again.
M. F.
Good spot, rooms clean, hotel staff friendly. Would have been 5 stars, but there was a lingering odour in the corridors and the key card didn't always work.
m. J.
Excellent stay. Lovely food, helpful staff, very clean rooms and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely stay here again.
P. M.
What you would expect, which isn't always the case. Plain, no frills and quiet. 2 working lifts for 7 floors is bad news. I didn't mind the stairs but otherwise the wait was painful.
V. F.
Good and friendly service, modern, clean and quiet room, and firm bed. No view to speak of, but other than that very good experience with reasonable price in London downtown.
L. A.
Rooms are OK, free wifi is very slow in the evenings.
Breakfast is made of very cheap ingreadients, powder eggs, dutch tomatoes etc.
If you get a deal on accommodation go for it but eat outside.
V. B.
Easy check in . Rooms were lovely . Beds really comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. It was easy to find and great central location. Will definitely go back !.
E. G.
Spacious room but needs updating
V. J.
Room was nice size. Had trouble with breakfast as it wasn't included even though we already paid. The breakfast wasn't that great, not much variety and not the best quality.
A. M.
I stayed at the Premier Inn for 5 days, Sunday to Friday.
I have never felt more welcome anywhere else than I felt there. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. The moment I walked through the doors I felt very welcome. The room was cleaned everyday, as well as the towels and the bed being made (I guess how I made it wasn't good enough!) The TV was a fair sized 22" Samsung TV with all the freeview channels, it also had a USB port, VGA and HDMI. I found this would be very useful for those who wish to bring their own media. During my stay the weather was quite nice, leaving the room feeling warm. I was unable to open the window, but I noticed there was an AC unit that was very effective. It could cool the room down in seconds. I was very lucky to get the meal deal that gave me a 3 course meal and a drink in the evening and a all you can eat buffet styled breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic. The Food was presented very well. I would like to note that the hotel is in a very central location but hidden away from the traffic. There is a small Tescos store over the road and a small Sainsburys store not even a 5 minute walk round the corner (on Fleet Street.)
As of today this is the best Premier Inn that I have stayed in. The staff were all lovely, The room was brilliant, the food was class, my overall stay was very satisfying!
Premier Inn Blackfriars - Thank you!
J. B.
Nice quiet location, friendly staff
A. B.
Very friendly staff very quick service. Nothing is too much trouble! Breakfast is very good! Would stay here again. Very close to the tube and easy to find and get around
S. K.
Excellent spot very close to everything in central London yet very reasonably priced. Service is good and they are more than accommodating to look after your luggage before check-in opens or after your stay.
R. M.
Staff were amazing and very attentive. Food was great. Family room was very big and we will definitely be back.
S. G.
The hotel is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious and has all of the required things for your stay. The breakfast is a buffet style and is also really nice
M. M.
Good location to explore Covent garden and the area around the shard and St Paul's Cathedral. Very clean rooms and the hotel staff are a credit.
L. N.
We were very happy with this hotel. Easy access to the train. Our room was comfortable and quiet and the staff was very pleasant.
S. D.
I've read all the 5 star reviews, and appreciate that my review may stand out. But I feel after a huge number of stays my review will truly reflect this hotel.
I am a huge fan of the Premier Inn brand, I stay in premier inn hotels all over the country every week for minimum of 3 nights each time but it has its very obvious ups and downs:
Goods:
- Good Night Guarantee
- Beds are very comfortable
- Rooms are clean and very well maintained
- Staff are extremely friendly and well trained one of the reasons I always come back. The operations manager has always made a point of coming over to me asking how I am and shaking my hand when he see's me which is appreciated.
- Checkin process is seemless, beats competitors.
- Food is nice, not perfect but its what I would expect for this standard of hotel.
Bads:
- Good Night Guarantee - Premier Inn don't like it if you claim, if you claim more than 3 times or more you'll get a 8am call from a GM/Ops Manager asking if the brand is really for you. Out of over 150 nights i've only claimed a few times (1 x Bad Smell - couldn't move rooms as they were full, 1x Air con making loud noises all night 2 x Loud Noise from Parties of people and 6am kids running up and down the corridor) but the guarantee is supposed to be "no quibbles" but yet you get an interrogation, putting you off from complaining or claiming the guarantee in the future - which has done for a few of my nights recently as I dont want them to tell me to leave and not book through them again.
- The hotel is promoted as Budget Hotel, but costs a lot more than a lot of competitors with the same standards. They've even won awards for being a Budget Hotel but doesn't sit right for me considering the price.
- You cant negotiate a rate with Premier Inn without a lot of hard pushing, I had the promise of a solid 4 month booking which could extend to 8 months and even then it was a struggle to get a rate (which still isn't that great), the ops manager approached me and has reneged on this deal starting from the new year saying he wouldn't honour it any further and the staff member who gave it to me has been "spoken to" and shouldnt have given it to me, and this member of staff is is now on "maternity leave". Competitors of Premier Inn are very welcoming to negotiating long term rates.
- Phones are in the Premier Inn rooms, but if you try to call the bar/restaurant to pre order for takeaway food generally this is impossible and they make you come down to the bar and then wait the 15-30mins to cook the food.
- They don't offer room service.
- Premier Inn doesn't have a Loyalty Program.
Deals
Generally the deals Premier Inn mail out via Email are for outside of London generally and aren't targeted.
They have a promotion on at the moment that if you stay 3 stays or more you are entitled to a free stay, but they sneakily hide in the Terms and Conditions that you pre existing bookings don't count and lots of other dodgy type exclusions. It feels very tricky.
Conclusion:
Premier Inn is a great hotel brand, if you are going to stay 1-3 nights, but if you decide to stay regularly you really do start to see all the cracks show.
For now it still beats Holiday Inn Express, but with all the upgrades Holiday Inn Express are undertaking i'm not sure how long Premier Inn will stand out.
Other competitor hotels are just as good but the good night guarantee stands out for Premier Inn.
M. W.
Great hotel.
Perfect location
Family rooms spacious ,clean and well staffed
Great value for money deals for breakfast and two courses dinner including 🍷
Will be returning 😀
h. h.
Nice decor in reception and dining area , rooms usual premier inn , television a bit small . Better to eat out as the service is appalling, waited 45 minutes before staff attended us despite being quiet .
D. M.
Ideal location for visiting the city. Good sized bedrooms, clean and very helpful polite staff. This will become our regular hotel when visiting London for a weekend stay
T. S.
Ok hotel. Pretty big rooms. A little worn out but fine for one night business stay. Descent selection for breakfast. Terrible panckackes.
R. B.
Beautiful, well located and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable especially on week ends and you can walk to St Paul's and the Abbey. Breakfeast is great. Don't skip it!
L.
Food took 30mins to cook. The restaurant was pretty empty (10pm). The Chef brought the food and there were 3 waiters just pretty much standing or cleaning the tables. Food was good.
B. G.
Go down Tudor Street and take your first right and you will see the front entrance. Great breakfast. Can't open windows though and air con tends to turn itself off after a while so staying on one of the top floors can get uncomfortably hot at night
G. “. F. D.
Recently had a redisign so the bar and reception area are in the same place making things a bit more convenient. Rooms and service as good as usual, the only thing missing is USB charging in the rooms.
P. O.
Really friendly staff. Super quiet and clean rooms. Probably the best premier Inn I've stayed in, and I live in them at the moment.
I. J.
Central to all places, close to tube station quite in evening. Good breakfast. For value for money great. Would definitely stay again if we go to London again
c. M.
Lovely spot. Stayed here with my wife and 2 children. I can't fault it. Staff and food great too. Good location also
N. K.
We wanted to leave our luggage here and this hotel offered us the service to do so and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here aswell.
D. G.
We had a long stay and enjoyed our room in this hotel.Nice fresh food and generous brekfast buffet.
C. T.
Exactly what you'd expect with a premier inn! Comfortable bed, nice food at a reasonable price. Some buildingworks are being carried out but that didn't trouble me as I arrived at 20:00 and left at 7:00 the next day.
M. K.
Just home from a lovely 3 night stay here, rooms were nice and clean, on our last night we had the 3 course meal with a drink and breakfast the next morning good selection of food both in the evening and morning, priced very reasonably, Andy in the restaurant was very nice and friendly, he even got a candle for desert as we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday.. close to blackfriars underground station making getting around very easy.. would definitely stay here again.
P.
It's a nice hotel. Views from the room are rubbish but you don't stay in a budget hotel to look out of the window. Premier inn is ok.
L. P.
Really good staff and service. The rooms are quiet. The hotel is right located in the center of London and make it good to go anywhere really easy.
O. H.
Very nice Hotel especially the staff is very very nice and helpfull. Stayed there after christmas. Breakfast very good. Clean rooms. Quiet. Close to center.
S. S.
Great hotel, really friendly staff, helpful, great location to get around London and the food was really good. Room was spotless also
D. F.
Great location just off Fleet Street, comfy bed, friendly staff. Booking recommended if you want to use the hotel restaurant in the evening, breakfast queue can also be huge!
a.
Pretty decent for a premier inn good location close to the circle and district lines. Close the southbank and a few handy shops close by. Breakfast pretty standard for a premier inn(nothing to write home about.

Fantastic location very clean are room was so quite good nights sleep good beds staff great can't fault it would stay again would definitely recommend 🛏️

Hotel is clean and neat. Service is quite poor though, especially for a capitol city hotel. The staff I encountered had poor manners and seemed generally bored and disinterested.
P. R.
Great stay for a young family. Staff were lovely with kids. Tom went out of his way to look after us at Dinner.
T. H.
Could check in early. Clean. Kind people. Good breakfast. Good traffic, however in a smaller, less noisy street. Close to underground. Good for both tourism and business stay
M. H.
Convenient location for the city. Is clean and tidy and breakfast not bad. Room comfortable but no real view or enough natural light.
S. M.
Great food and lovely friendly staff. Air con a wee bit noisy at night. Would definitely stay here again. Close for all London attractions.
A. A.
One of the best premier inns I have been to and I have used a lot, it was cheap and all, I had a great time and sleep here. There was no noise from the outside at all
J. S.
Your typical Premier Inn. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was a bit chaotic which is why it lost a star. Would happily stay here again
S. C.
Room was quiet and clean. Bed comfortable. Sadly restaurant was closed for refurb but complimentary pastries, fruit and coffee was laid on in the morning in reception.
A. M. S.
Great place to stay, lovely and clean and comfortable, staff were all really nice and friendly would definitely recommend
S. B.
Just a lovely and sweet hotel. Really friendly employees that didn't mind chatting with you. You really felt welcome because of that!
D. S.
Stayed here lots of times over last 4-5 years. Never had a bad experience and the rooms are very quiet...always a good night's sleep!

I haven't stayed at the hotel, but Kayleigh from Premier Inn Blackfriars gave me such an excellent customer services experience I couldn't not mention it! Sorted out my issue in seconds with a friendly tone and happy to help. Thank you!
H. U.
Location is great. Less than 1 min to the station. 30s to tesco express and Starbucks. Rooms clean and tidy. What else could you want.

My wife, my twin sister and her husband and I stayed at the hotel 18th-21st February 2017. On our last day my wife and I went for a walk over Blackfriars Bridge when she developed a racing heart beat, something she has had three times before but nothing for over two years. We went back to the hotel and told the young lady on the Reception, Kayleigh, who was totally brilliant. She called an ambulance and my wife was treated therein and quickly recovered. Kayleigh looked after both of us providing drinks until we were ready to travel home. I wish to highly praise and thanks Kayleigh for her wonderful care. My wife went to see her Doctor when we got home and she is having further tests.
Thank you very much Kayleigh, you were brilliant. The hotel is very good as well.

Nice hotel with clean rooms and no noise from other rooms. AC was good and much needed in the summer. Only no safe and a quite small tv set.
A. D.
No nonsense hotel. Staff are very friendly and chatty. Always ready to help. Will stay here again for sure as it is located perfectly beside tube and rail.
J. P.
Good location, nice rooms, shower was a bit weak and on the the lower floor rooms you can hear the underground regularly but not badly. You get used to it very quickly.
O. “. R.
Superb rooms and good service. Breakfast here was also great!! And the dinner menu is a bit pricey but affordable.
J. S.
Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Good location, close to St paul's cathedral and millennium bridge and tube station.
G. R.
Literally just an overnight stay, but absolutely nothing to complain about
N. S.

D. T.
Very nice offer for a long weekend. Stayed there twice in fact. Nice and centrally situated with 5min walk to St Paul's and a 15min walk to Covent Garden.
J. H.
Reception Staff were really friendly, allowed us to buy drinks even after the bar had closed, bed was comfy and shower was not, only complaint is that we couldn't open the windows, which made us cloggy in the morning and feel a little restricted, other than that was good
S. K.
Absolutely lovely. The nicest staff, great customer service. Location was perfect for our weekend, tube station across the road.
A. S.
Handy location in central London. The room was clean and tidy. Standard quiality that you expect from a Premier Inn. Staff helpful and friendly.
S. H.
Comfortable and efficient hotel stay as expected. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
C. P.
Had a great experience in their bar/restaurant. Can't comment on their rooms as didn't stay there but the décor seems simple and nice enough.
N. D.
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired (poor Quorn sausages, cheapest possible bread for toast).
R. S.
Friendly staff, food to room all good quality.
A. H.
The location is very central, the rooms are quite big with some comfy bed. The bathroom is big as well. All in all, a very enjoyable experience
N. C.
Great location, clean comfortable modern family room. Restaurant served extremely tasty food at a great price. Highly recommend
D. C.
Fairly bog standard hotel, with automated check-in and a decent breakfast. The location is excellent though, and it's quite reasonably priced for the area
T. O.
Good location for St Paul's and fleet street.
Clean room
Rubbish shower
T. B.
Great hotel. Very cheap for its value. Very modern, nice big rooms (compared to rooms size in Europe), great stuff.
S. G.
Amazing place, breakfast is good and so are dinner options. Staff is very courteous and always willing to help.

J. H.
Bar closers too early. And restaurants too early.
S. B.
Good size room for 1 night. Reasonable shower. Quiet location. Overall 4 stars.

Ok hotel but amenities not quite what you would expect on new year's Eve with the bat closing at 2330 - breakfast very good is about the only positive comment
M. P.
A short walk from Waterloo Station, nice rooms with comfy beds and good bathroom. The only thing that let it down was the lack of fresh air from an openable window
A. C. (.
Quite location yet in london city 4 min walk to backfires station. Close to 5 min drive to famous Soho area and all main london attraction. A good location from tourist point of view
D. L.
A perfect location to stay in the heart of London City. Would recommend visiting St. Paul's and the Oxo Tower areas to get a real feel of what London has to offer.
R. B.
Only popped in to the bar/restaurant for drink or two after work it seemed nice, the colleagues I knew staying there seemed happy with it.
T. M.
Possibly the comfiest beds in the world in a great location. You are a 15 minute walk to the London Eye and Houses of Parliament. Would definitely recommend.

Compared to newer and refurbished Premier Inn locations Blackfrairs is slightly outdated with the old room style. However staff are friendly and the rest of the great PI experience is present here.

Handy for underground at Blackfriars and not far from farringdon. Kettle broken and I wish the poached eggs were soft. Like the refurbished entrance area.

A basic budget hotel in London, very close to Blackfriars station. Okay for the price, but I found the room a bit noisy with the sounds from my neighbour.

M. B.
Very impressed with all of the staff we encountered, and the bed was very comfortable. Would Reccomend to friends.

My double room was quite large for London Hotels standards. Furnishings are nothing to write home about, but more than acceptable, in line with Premier Inn standards, same as with breakfast.
W. H.
The staff were super helpful. I was there during renovation and didn't notice anything. Exactly what you need and expect from a Premier Inn.
J. J.
It's not like be in apartment bud clean, quiet hotel in center of London. If you want to just sleep somewhere and be close to work, it's nice.
S.
The great thing for me about premier inn is the consistency, comfortable rooms, good beds, good showers and excellent front of house staff.

Needs freshening up but a great location and quiet rooms. Restaurant is alright until the 4th visit...
J. S.
Strange accessible bathroom...almost slipped and fell...breakfast was ok I suppose if you're used to English breakfast...men's room smelled awful...overall not terrible but not great either
J. S.
Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Bar staff need to be trained how to pour a pint properly
L. W.
Ok place hot breakfast not so hot evening meal ok but too many waiting staff asking if food ok to the point of annoyance preferred other premier Inn near king's cross
A. D.
I was here for an afternoon for meetings, far better than the crowne plaza round the corner where I usually go. Superb service with a smile and loads of tables\plugs to use.

G. H.
It's a premier Inn what can you say? It's the same as all the others: a clean comfortable bed. Just somewhere to sleep while you experience the local sights
A. G. P.
Perfect location but not so good room quality (the bed is very comfortable nevertheless).
B. M.
