Nice hotel, good location. Rooms a bit small but nice and clean. Special mention for the bar and Theo, the friendly barkeeper who makes great cocktails and recommendations. Try his passionfruit submariner, it is delicious! Nice to find a bar that is open once the pubs close at 9:30 😉
K.
This hotel was great for the location of our event, Olympia, less than a slow 10 minute walk.
Pleasant, helpful and efficient staff. …

We stayed for 6 nights; the room is nice and higher floors even better.. daily breakfast is fantastic and a great way to start the day.. the lobby area with tea/coffee all day is a great place to catch up or work… Tesco is next door for all …
M.
It was comfortable staying in this hotel. The room was large if you compared to most hotels in London, it could be said that it is suitable for family with kids. The breakfast was amazing and delicious
and the photos on Booking.com don't appear the breakfast as how it was in real. Finally, I would like to thank Rain for her kindness and good treatment.
- There is no private car park in the hotel.
However, there is a car park around 3 minutes walking from the hotel and it's cost 37£ per day.

I have already recommended this hotel to two friends. We had a fantastic time. Although it was annoying there was only 1 lift and the 8th floor windows were easily opened by my 6 year old eeek!! (with no restrictions or window keys to …

The location was further out than I expected, though close to a tube stop. The room design isn't the best for getting ready since the bathroom door area was pretty cramped with the bed. The icing room space was nice. I wish there was a smart TV for streaming. Nice desk service.

Was a lovely room, with a fantastic shower as with me being diabled, it was lovely to freshen up. One down side was our TV for some reason kept turning off,. The food was OK but, not alot of selection. Staff were wonderful and very helpful.

We booked to stay 14 days in a 2 bedrooms type, later extended to 16 days. A very good choice as the first stop of our migration. Pet friendly, with kitchen, which is family friendly. Hotel is clean and comfortable, need to pre-book for …

The hotel is excellent, clean, good location and good range of breakfast. The hotel coordinates excellent taxi services at a very reasonable price. There are two elevators, one elevator cannot move without scanning your room card-key, the …

Just spent one night. The check in was quick and got upgraded to one bedroom due to my status. The breakfast was quite extensive for a free offer. Overall a great experience

Really lovely and convenient location. Great that breakfast was included in the price for all 3 of us. Having a kitchenette in the room was really handy especially as we had our toddler with us. It meant we didn’t lose too much of our …

This is a brilliant facility of various sized apartments. Location is superb with supermarket right next door and Earl's Court underground station just a short walk away. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast to set you up for sightseeing. Perfect. Good value for London.
H.
The hotel has a good position 5/10 mins from underground. It is very clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. Did have problems getting the bedding for the sofa bed and took numerous messages and calls. Other than that would recommend.
L.
Friendly, polite staff.
Despite having requested the sofa bed to be made up, we arrived at 8.30pm to find it wasn’t. Took an hour to get this done, not great with tired children. …

Spent five nights at the Marriot in July 2021 just before things opened up properly. The room was spacious and clean with enough storage space for two of us. No cleaning was done in the room because of covid rectrictions but we could have …

Location was good and a short bus ride from Shepherds Bush which had lots of options for food. Hotel was nice except for a broken elevator so we took the stairs each time, 3 floors up. It was a very busy place during the weekend so only …

We chose the Residence Inn because of it’s location and reasonable price. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with some amenities (like hob and a refrigerator). There is a communal laundry area. Breakfast is a generous buffet with a good …

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I had no issues at all. The staff were great and super helpful. It's also located just next door to a Tesco Superstore, so you can stock your mini kitchen easily! Makes longer business stays much more reasonable. The price was also fantastic!
Y. A.
First time living in Residence Inn, good for the price but didn’t meet my expectations.
Pros:
- Gym has almost all necessary equipments.
- Washers and dryers available for free.
- Great variety of breakfast items.
- 10 mins walking from Earl’s Court underground station.
- 2 mins walk to Tesco.
Cons:
- Elevators are very slow.
- Staff’s service slow and might need to call them couple of times to fulfill your request.
V.
Great rooms, with fab kitchenette, 24 tea and coffee in reception. Buffet breakfast has great variety and was clean and plentiful always stocked. Bar prices are very reasonable for London.
Family friendly and great customer service

One day suddenly all paper cups disappeared from coffee machine area. A few days later, porcelain cups all gone too! Same time I asked for room cleaning, all porcelain cups disappeared from my room! When I called front desk, I was told that …

My adult daughter and I arrived at the Hotel quite exhausted - we were coming from a seriously disappointing Airbnb. Our state was obvious to the front desk staff who had us shown to our room within 5 minutes of arriving (complete with …
M.
Decent hotel with good rooms , although small for family suite, good breakfast and friendly staff eager to help. Rooms are clean, good to organise your room servicing on arrival and close to tesco superstore and transport links. Wifi quite poor. Front desk staff and cleaners very helpful.
G.
Despite booking a room for 2 adults and 1 child aged 9 there was no extra bedding for the sofa bed on arrival.
The room was not serviced the next day and towels were not changed. …

Good location. Good staff. Poor accommodation - needs a clean. Photos on website not accurate. …

The stay overall was amazing. The receptionist ikram was so friendly and so helpful, which made our stay very worthwhile.
The service we got was excellent. There could still be to go breakfast as there was no containers and bags for us to take breakfast.

Stayed here for two nights, the room was amazing, so good to have a kitchenette. The bed was extremely comfortable and I'm fussy. The air conditioning was an added bonus as we were there in the heatwave. Large Tesco next door, 25 minute …

2021 staycation at the London Residence. Our expectations of the hotel were met including the cleanliness. We had a very enjoyable week. The room was well equipped as described and felt safe throughtout
Y. M.
I can not use my mobile data in the building. It is Not quiet hotels to take rest. Talking, opening/closing door or cleaning room are all very noisy during almost 24hrs. Breakfast is great.
M.
Good property and with having in room cooking facilities it made it great value for money as not having to dine out in the evening. Tesco is next door. The breakfast was good, great selection and the kids enjoyed it. Good location for museums and shopping. Earls court tube only 5 min walk.
G.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights and the apartment was lovely and clean and very well equipped.
Breakfast was superb and there was a wide choice of food.
Would happily recommend.

Great location and hotel.
Good choice at breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
The only thing that marred my experience was that I had left my jacket in the …

room and housekeeping as expected full on Marriott standard, but the front desk staff is one step away from Marriott standard and it looks like they never heard about "walking the extra mile", which is actually a Marriott standard.
the complimentary breakfast is Ok but after a 12 day stay, it starts to get boring. Very limited for vegans
K. E.
Fantastic room, great breakfast, reasonable price. They brought us our necessities while we were in quarantine. My one gripe: the dryers seem to be on the fritz and probably need to be worked on.
D. L.
Not the best on hygiene, many people not wearing masks, as you can see soiled bedding. No checking for breakfast whom is actually staying in the hotel, felt as if anyone could of just walked in. Corridors to bedrooms not vacuumed, think this hotel is being used for either immigration purposes or housing. Never seen so many deliveries from online sites to guests. Not on top of my list to stay again, unless greatly changed.
M.
A nice reception staff is a plus, but not being effective in helping with getting maintenance and even rudimentary housekeeping when one is using their room for business, is a detriment. …
S. W. T.
Booked into this hotel in London. Room is good sized, and there is an attached kitchenette. Hotel also has a gym in the basement with three treadmill machines.
C. C.
Bit of a naff location but we stayed in a 2bed suite and it was very nice. Modern and newly decorated, with 2 bathrooms, both with showers. Bit close to the tube line for my liking
R. T.
Location excellent breakfast excellent but reception help is ok ok rooms are tight but from London point of view great 👌 vegetarian burger is amazing

I forgot to tell the hotel that our 3 days stay was for my daughter’s 7th birthday. So, I contacted them online and surprisingly they’ve got back to me in no time. I requested if they could provide a greeting card in the room and they did …

We chose the Kensington Residence Inn for it's location, free breakfast and found it offered us all we could have asked for and more. Accommodation and Service were excellent, we can't think of any reason why we would stay any place else when coming to London.
L.
Great apartments, well thought out, useful kitchen, good breakfast however let down by service levels. They seemed understaffed for the occupancy level of the hotel and could not cope with customer requests. Our sofa bed for our kids came …
D. R.
Great hotel for a few nights stay the complimentary breakfast was great also. The walls are thin so if noise is an issue you would like to avoid be warned.
M.
Absolutely perfect for a family of 5, the rooms were big and of high standard. The staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was very good and the overall value was exceptional
L.
Nice hotel accommodations. A little farther from restaurants and tourist sites than expected. The room was fully stocked for lite cooking and a nice grocery store very close for food and beverages.
S. B.
Lovely 2-br, 2-bath, room; but OMG, paint the walls, and clean the carpets. Marriott in Kensington needs an upgrade. A wonderful staff made up for the condition of the facility!
C.
The 2 bed room apartment was small, the housekeeping was slow, cleanliness was not great, reception was good but crowded. Breakfast was boring and also crowded with several items running out regularly
J.
I stayed here for my 10 day quarantine. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. I ordered a couple of packages and the staff delivered them to my door. Any requests I had for towels/amenities, were also dealt with quickly. …

Great location.
Rooms spacious.

We were happy with how the staff treat us particularly Mr Kidus.
Everything was perfect - we feel staying more time to extend but we have other commitments compelling to go back.

R.
I stayed here for a month, almost. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in London near Kensington. …
B.
The location was fantastic. However rooms were cleaned only on request even though all other hotels cleaned daily
Breakfast was good but boring
W.
Beautiful deluxe room, large room with kitchen and sitting area. Bed is really soft and comfy. Grab and go breakfast was so tasty and plentiful: croissants, pastries, English breakfast, bread, milk, condiments, cakes! And I can only imagine what a buffet breakfast will be one restrictions are lifted. Will definitely stay again!
G.
The place is great. Here is few things you should bare in mind. Rooms are smaller than they look online. General wear and tear in rooms. However, you do have everything you need and kitchen is well equipped. If you mr fancy pants, probably …

Hotel is located in a good location about 8 mins walk from Earl's court station
There is a good pub about 5 minutes walk away Scarsdale inn. Large 34 hour Tesco adjacent to the hotel. Room is modern and well equipped. Breakfast was good except that the hot good was limited and poor quality. Hotel is clean and comfortable.
A.
Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, with a really good adherence to social distancing rules. The breakfast was brilliant, with a huge range to suit all travellers. The kitchen facilities in the room were ideal for a family.
N.
Good breakfast and decent amenities provided. Location is good.
Apartment cleanliness upon check-in wasn’t acceptable. Elevators were out of order for most of the trip which was sub-standard.
g. r.
Really like the amenities!!! The one drawback was the broken elevator. It would take around a 8 to 10 min wait just to get in the elevator to go either up or down.
M.
Stayed in a twin room with kitchen/ sitting area. Nice and spacious with oven and dishwasher which was handy. Location a little out of the way of the tube even with the Warrick Road exit of the Station. The breakfast was disappointing- the …
M.
Enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly and room was clean and fresh. Elevator out of service is the biggest downside for this hotel. If you are with kids or not able to take stairs expect queues for the elevator.
N.
Excellent value for money. The second bed was not made up when we arrived but housekeeping ensured it was quickly rectified and fulfilled on their promise. Dry clean.
A.
We had everything we needed and the hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us. I can honestly say it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in not only for the location but the facilities too. Thanks for making our break great 5xxxxx
A.
Very comfortable stay and good COVID precautions. Only down side was 2nd lift was broken which meant more than 2 people using the only lift. Signs were present for 2 people or 1 family. However it could mean a very long wait for the lift. As I had recent surgery to my knee climbing 6 flights of stairs wasn’t an option.
P.
On the surface the hotel is nice, staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating. However, some issues with the room, nothing major. Shower leaked out of sides and also filled up, some mildew around the tiles, base is discoloured. Cot was delivered to the room until late in the day even though it was requested upon check in. Star were apologetic.
S. P.
Apart from almost unfriendly attitude and non working of AC and induction cook top for first 4 days of our visit and one of the lifts permanently not working in all the 8 days of our visit, the hotel is okayish…. But unworthy of included in the Marriott group of hotels whose hospitality is par excellence elsewhere.
L.
Our one bedroom suite was excellent - facilities very good - even a small dishwasher - only thing missing was a tea towel.
Great shower room with plenty of shelf space for make up / toiletries and an excellent show
N.
Feedback cant judge hotel!
Location is okay! Parking is handy, tesco carpark nearby! …

We stayed for 5 weeks and overall had a good experience. The manager Sharad was extremely accommodating and friendly. He often checked on how experience was going and asked if we needed anything. The front of house staff were also very friendly, the reception staff always said good morning and were welcoming.
The room size was great and relatively modern.
The cleaners were not very good. They often needed to come back twice however they improved throughout our stay.
K.
Came into the UK and had to do a 10 day quarantine at the hotel. The staff was flexible and attentive at every stage of my stay, they had a solution for every concern I had and they made me feel secure in during this precarious covid …

It is always nice to stay here as the staff are super friendly and helpful!
My only downside is that the WiFi is not always the most stable for older phones.
P.
Stayed one month here. The room is nice , and decent size at great location. Hotel provides breakfast in the morning. The breakfast area downstairs is pretty nice. And the laundry room is great .
There are many good restaurants nearby within 7-10 minutes walks. There is bus station downstairs and Earl’s Station is about 10 minutes walk.
Problems: only one elevator works during my entire stays so prepare to walk up and down a lot . Some housekeeping staffs can be very rude but they did clean my room anyway. One night there was very unbearable smell from the bottom of shower room but smell gone in the next morning. Wifi was weak.
Thanks Louis!! He is wonderful!! He went to my room to teach me how to turn on microwave and oven. He also delivered a pillow to me at one time.
J.
This was my first time staying here. I really enjoyed it! Everything was great, the staff was friendly, and the service was wonderful, especially considering the last year we've had. Highly recommended and will be staying here again in the future.
E.
Our two bed/two bath was spacious and well-designed, with a very well-equipped kitchen and living area. Non-carpeted room floors were nice for cleanliness, especially in a city property. The front desk graciously allowed early check-in - …

Great location with plenty of amenities.
Perfect room for a business trip or a family weekend.
Best of both worlds with the in room catering facilities
E. D.
The district is noisy, but not far from Hyde park. The side to the railway seems the best.
T. I. D.
Nice place overall. Rooms are small and breakfast options are slightly limited. Apart from that, nice place to be. Two underground stations and a few bus stops are nearby, so we'll connected place.
W. H.
Staff was so nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Close to the Tesco. A bit further from the Tube but close to a couple bus stops.
D.
The rooms are compact but well laid out. I was on the 8th floor and had lots of natural light. Nice big shower and very clean. No Bathrobe, slippers, shower caps, hairdryer etc, just soap, shampoo and conditioner so take your bits and …

Not a service hotel. No amenities were provided.

A very centrally located hotel.
Very professional and courteous staff. I booked a 1 bedroom suite, which also had a sofa bed. Both the bedroom and open-plan living room had a TV.
Personally, a range of toiletries should be introduced.
Overall, good value for money. Excellent safety signage in place retarding staying safe during Covid-19.
C.
Excellent location, staff really make this hotel. Breakfast very, very busy, could be difficult to get seated. Eat at quieter times if possible. The quality of breakfast excellent. Hot food with loads of choices, staff were very attentive. …

This hotel is definitely on the path to much better reviews! The reviews we read were mixed but the rate, location and desire for a kitchenette and sitting area encouraged us to book. We were pleased we did! We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom …

I don't usually give negative feedback but our experience was not great.
Firstly, I want to say that the hotel is modern, the rooms are nice and comfortable. However, the front desk service is "not good to actually pretty bad".
The only reason that I can confidently say that the front desk service was bad is that 3 people in my group have worked in the hotel industry for years.
We arrived early and saw that it was very busy. We completely understood that we would have to wait for our 3 pm check-in time.
However, 3pm came and the room wasn't ready. So we waited. We understood how it can be. 3:30pm then 3:45pm came and the rooms weren't ready and when we asked about them they didn't even have them on the priority of things to be cleaned. It also seemed like the day and night shift were switching, so the manager seemed to be passed us off to the afternoon manager.
4:00 pm came and we asked about the rooms and they legit didn't know what we were talking about. In the meantime, other people who came in after us were checking in and going to their rooms.
We were very confused. 4:30 came and the room still wasn't ready. Finally, the afternoon manager/front desk could see our frustration so he went to the rooms to clean them himself which we appreciate.
By the time our rooms were ready, it was almost 5 pm. Then they just handed us the room keys and said your luggage is over there. That was it. I'm not one to expect an apology, but if I were them, I would have said something.
It was a very weird unfriendly experience. Sadly, I won't be recommending Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington to anyone. There are comparable hotels to choose from in the neighborhood. I wouldn't start with Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington when looking for a place to stay in London.
D.
I expect quality when I book a Marriott, and yet again I was delighted at what I got.
It’s a busy hotel, but everything worked and we were fed and watered at breakfast in good time, considering how busy they were.
K.
We only stayed one night at the hotel after going to Wimbledon. It is in a convenient position for the tennis.
Hotel is good value, needs a little maintenance but nothing negative.
M.
Although hotel is clean, but unlikely to come again when there are neighbouring choices around

Room worked really well for us with two younger children. Kitchenette gave us flexibility. Breakfast buffet was really enjoyable

Very clean environment, breakfast was good.
Top notch amenities.
However I had to make at least 24 hours booking for house keeping services, most times house keepers are fully booked and I didnt get attended to till 48 hours later

I will recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget but still wants a good quality accommodation near Central London. However of you need house keeping services you have to request it . I will stay here again

Nice Hotel and Good breakfast. Family visit for 4 nights and near public transport. Good staff service.

From the moment I arrived I was treat with such kindness. The suite was perfect, and the added bonus of a daily complementary breakfast and laundry was so appreciated. Thank you to the incredible manager and his staff for a wonderful stay!
M. H.
Spacious rooms, well equipped with Kitchenette & very comfortable bed. The closet is smallish and awkwardly placed, but it works.
The hotel offered me a welcome gift bag with chips & nuts & so on, and there was a welcome reception for all guest in the evening with free drinks & snacks.
Overall a good hotel, but beware it lacks a full service kitchen.
D.
Room is good
Breakfast is excellent
No room clean or new towels …

Amazing hotel, has everything you would need, breakfast is so nice! And even when you couldn’t eat in as of covid the pack up to go breakfast was fab, rooms are clean and hospitality is on point
