Excellent location for walking around the city, also perfect for all the clubs in the surrounding area for nightlife. Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean toilets, as well as the whole structure, which is fundamental. I stayed in a mixed room for 8, with the essentials present and a cage to store under the bed for personal items. To be absolutely recommended for cleanliness and location. I'll be back!

Pros. Very central, very cheap, clean and staff are very polite.
Cons. So noisy, the floors crack so you hear every person passing on the corridor, the door in the bedroom sounds like in the horror movies and the bed sounds too 😅 I won't talk about the works on the building nearby because it's not their fault.
My dormitory was 6bed only female and was only 1-3 ppl, I was lucky.

The pictures in google maps look way better than the actual place. I found it to be a little dirty (I saw a mouse in the coffee area) and a bit more expensive than similar better alternatives. Shower had no hot water and shower panel was falling off. I changed hostel the next day.
That being said, the location is convenient and the price is not particularly high.
Would stay again only if location in SoHo is very important.

Lovely and simple hostel with a great location. Only paid £18 for the night with hot showers. Free drinks and common room facilities and 24h security on front desk

Second time I've stayed at SoHostel, a very nice and affordable hostel in central Soho, which is lovely!
Stayed for a week, and had the privilege of the room to ourselves for all but one day. Staff were very nice & even sorted out my friend and I staying in the same room!
K. W.
This was good stay and the location is unbeatable! So close to bus stops and the underground. It's a pity that it has such bad housekeeping issues and half closed due to Covid. I'm sure my stay would have been awesome with the bar, breakfast and lounge open. The floors were absolutely disgusting and my bare feet never touched them. The showers are also revolting with terrible mold and mildew smells. However I had a good stay. They are currently serving unlimited tea and coffee in the main room and Tesco is literally 1 minute away. My bed itself was spotless and the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I'd recommend this for your stay in London but definitely bring your flip flops, soap and hand sanitizer.

Amazing location, Tesco right outside.
No kitchen or anywhere to prepare food.
Would be a perfect hostel if they just let me use the microwave.

Overall I had a great time at the sohostel. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, giving good recommendations. The communal area is nice to hang out in, altho it's fullest potential is sorta stuck due to corona still. Location is great, Soho area almost offers anything I could think of to eat or drink.
Only downside is the layout/engineering they have in the building is sorta old: some toilets with a jank flush that u need to try a couple times before it works, bed nightlights working on batteries, sockets aren't in reach for top bunks.
But again, overall a great place to stay and I'll come here again if need to find a place in London to stay

for the first time in London and stayed in this hostel. great location clean room of a different pressure quiet night. coffee machine for free

Very nice and clean place for the price you pay. Comparing to others with same price is amazing. But something needs to be improved is after certain time there's no one in the reception and you need to keep ringing for someone to open the door for you. Otherwise 👌🏼
S. G.
Good hostel, the only downfall for me is there isn't a working kitchen (it's only for staff) and there are no curtains on the beds.
J. B. L.
My favourite place to crash in London. However, there's one thing they need to improve. When I stay at SoHostel is usually because I want to go out in London, crash in the hostel and leave in the morning. It's very frustrating that there's usually no one after certain time in reception to open the door for you, so you have to keep ringing and ringing until someone comes and opens the door for you.
It took them 25 minutes of ringing and waiting outside the last time.

Would give 6 starts if I could! Cannot rate this hostel and the amazing staff highly enough.
First, a huge amount of appreciation for staying open during the pandemic to allow key workers like myself somewhere to stay. I stayed about a dozen times through lockdown between work placements and it became a second home.
The hostel is in a fantastic location and I will definitely be back in 'normal times', as the set up is fantastic - the common room is a great spot to hang out, and the hostel is huge. I can only imagine the atmosphere without Covid!
The rooms are comfortable, clean and affordable, no complains from me.
Finally, the staff are amazing. SOOOO friendly and went absolutely above and beyond for me a number of times. A special shout out to Luca for being an absolute superstar - the SoHostel team are absolutely fabulous and I can't rate them highly enough.
Thanks all - can't wait to be back when things are a bit more normal, and the bar is open!

Firstly, the staff are excellent and the location is very good. The price we paid was good too at only £23 per night for a double room. If you're staying here be warned it is very noisey from the street as well as other guests is bad. A lot of the showers and toilets were out of use (but still plenty). It's incredibly hot too, a fan is provided but it's perched on a chair that is too small for it. Toilets and showers were cleanish. Bar was shut as was roof terrace but both looked good. Overall its not too bad really especially given the price but it's not the most comfortable.

Great location....very reasonable prices for Soho....quiet, clean , very good front of house staff ...thoroughly recommend
M. G.
A very nice hostel. The location is perfect - right in the center of Soho.
The rooms are clean, quiet. The beds are comfortable enough to sleep well after a party. We liked the lobby. We had some minor issue with the elevator, but the staff solved the problem perfectly. I would definitely recommend this hostel.
D. S.
Rooms are clean, they have spaces to sit and relax or take a coffee, the receptionist is kind and give all the information you need
J. M.
Friendly staff, perfect location. I stayed in October 2020. There was no Breakfast included because of COVID but you have unlimited coffee/cappuccino. They give each guest a separate room. The room was clean. I highly recommend it.
K. M.
The place is conveniently located, within a walking distance to many landmarks of London. The staff is very kind, communicative, and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend it. The common room is a great place to hang out and I wasn't concerned at all to do it, despite COVID restrictions- the hostel follows safety regulations and precautions.

Great hostel! It is decently cheap, located very close to Tottenham Court Road Station and Chinatown (Leicester Square) and food can be easily found in the area. A large proportion of occupants are from Korea (which is great in my opinion since I like Korean culture), the breakfast provided is good and the hostel staff are friendly. Beds are comfortable, toilets are clean, and I think there may be a lift (I always used the stairs so I am not too sure).
J. J.
Been here for a week. Very clean, higher end furniture and doesn’t feel dirty at all. Staff constantly cleaning too, it was a great experience. I stayed in the 8 person room, most guests were super respectful. I highly recommend ear plugs and a face mask though
S. P.
Overall not impressed with the building or staff. Very few bathrooms that required much more attention than just the morning cleaning shift.
The 18 bed mixed dorm looks like an American prison set up with only plug-ins against the wall for your phone and small, under the bed cages for your valuables.
You have to buzz in to get into the building and occasionally the staff will just stare instead of opening the door.
The food and drinks are cheap and more than decent.
R. T.
The price is good. They have the best location and they serve a relative cheap continental breakfast. The prices at the bar were fine compared to the rest of the city.
They have laundry (£4.5 for washing machine, dryer and soap).
My biggest problem was with the rooms, they are so small that when it is full, the people and their bags do not fit well at all. Also the structure of the bunks is made of a material very, very noisy and they quake a lot when you are trying to move.
The bathrooms are OK.
J. B.
I booked a double room, and, as expected, got a bare room with bunkbed, sink and night stand. The room is good sized but empty. The floor was showing a lot of wear. There is nowhere to unpack.
The shared bathroom left a lot to be desired. One shower room was covered in black mold on the ceiling and door frame, I don't think the vent was working. The bathrooms were not kept clean and one day I found one shower room smelling of foot fungus and another covered in hair.
The building is a giant maze with decent signing, but I felt there were better ways to get to the teal zone instead of going all the around way back.
They offer meals and bar services, the prices were reasonable and people said that the food was decent.
If you are using a dorm room, you must bring or rent a towel. There are cages that can be locked in each room.
A. B.
Huge hostel, circa 300 beds. You get what you paid. Breakfast is nice, except for the coffee. Some of the showers had bad maintenance, doors not closing or was not possible to change the water temperature. Ventilation in the corridors is missing.
The staff is friendly and helpful! That's a plus.
M. P.
Awesome hostel, very nice and kind staff. The security is superb and so is the infrastructure. The bathrooms (even if they call it shared) are private (only one person per time) and the location is terrific. The bar downstairs is cool with good and affordable pints (they even have happy hours and weekends promotions) with a kitchen. The breakfast is good and with nice options for a small price. Accepts credit cards.

Lovely customer service~
I remembered the guy named Luca, he is really kind and friendly. Clear introduction what I may need in the hostel. Good location and price. Shared bathroom is clean.
S. T.
Lovely staff, clean and bright common areas, very tasty breakfast. Tours, pub crawls and other events planned. Small and very minimalist bedrooms but all the required basics. They couldn't change my top bunk to a lower one, and as an older (and heavier!) traveller I struggled. Also the lift was out of order for the duration of my stay, but those were my only issues. Definitely a very good choice for young travellers looking to see the city on a budget.

I recently stayed here during my short time in London and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly and made me feel welcome. I even had some thought provoking conversations and laugh with some of the staff. I slept in a 6-person mixed room with an en-suite bathroom. The accommodations were nice and always clean. The food was good (Big ups to Dex, the evening chef). For the price and location, this place is hands down my favorite place! I will most definitely be going back when I return to London. They also have a ton of events that guest can sign up for from Pub Crawls, Walking Tours, and various other tourist things. I'm truly going to miss Stewart, Hazel, Val, Marta, Lou, and the rest of the staff that made my stay so enjoyable.
S. R.
Perfect location, super cheap and clean and spacious, highly recommended! Much better than any hotel
N. R.
Basic rooms, nothing great about them. However, good friendly staff, they have a decent bar and a couple of food options and nice lounge area. A suggestion if possible, please run some AC in the building as summers can get really stuff both in the rooms and I. Lounge area. Location is a great plus as it’s close all major attractions in London. Finally give the price I paid, should have got a better quality room or price for the room could have been a bit lesser.

SoHostel was a last minute booking for us and we were pleasantly surprised! The location was phenomenal, close to a variety of tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, and metro stations. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We booked a private room, it had the basics, a bed, nightstand, sink and mirror all we needed for 2 nights. The showers were fairly clean and the water was always hot. We had an issue with the toilets flushing. We came to realize the tank does not fill up very fast and with the high volume of use, they wouldn't flush unless a significant time had passed. All-in-all it was a great stay and we would return again!
M. M.
Good hostel. Decently clean, friendly, and organized. Had a "getting ready" room complete with 7-8 mirrors with bright lighting, and free use of GDHs (straighteners) and blow dryers! This was a pretty impressive feature for most women staying there.

The best Hostel I've ever been to! Very, clean, amazing staff and the perfect location make me come back every time I'm in London. They offer a free walking tour and Pub crawls, as well as themed evenings, like karaoke on Fridays, which you can't hear in the rooms if you prefer to go to bed early. If you are visiting London to see a musical, the West End is just 5 minutes away (walking distance).
You won't regret choosing this hostel, it's the perfect place to stay.
I'm looking forward for my next vacation in London, because I know both, the hostel and the city are amazing 😄
A. G.
It is what it is: everything is tiny, basic and to the point. You have a tiny room, basic bed with minimal padding and a place to wash up. It is tight, but you cannot expect too much for the price. The staff is rather friendly and helpful to the guests and the place is clean.
In the summer it gets quite stuffy as there is only a fan. There are multiple stairs to go up and down but they do have an elevator available and it is an added bonus to have cheap drinks, food and free breakfast. Overall good value for the money, but don't expect too much other than simple basic necessities. Thank you!

Very nice location and friendly staff. The room (4 bed dorm) was on the small side, but clean, and the bed was very comfortable and the duvet of good quality. Loved the common pamper room with makeup mirrors and hairdryers! Every hostel should have one. Price was good for such a central location.
M. P.
BEST location. 7 min walk to Piccadilly Circus, 11 min walk to Trafalgar Square, it's so close to everything in central London.
The rooms are pretty good too for hostels. Clean, comfortable. The bathrooms were above average compared to other hostels I stayed at in Europe.
The only minus I have is socially the atmosphere wasn't as great as other hostels I've been to but if even if you do care about that the room & location more than makes up for that. Highly recommend, would stay again.

What is superior about the Hostel is the price and location in Soho being major draw cards. Central London can be mega expensive for accommodation... especially at last minute. Walking to great eateries and theaters is a pleasure; tube stations are close for further afield travel.
Stayed in a 4 person mixed dorm; guests I had where quiet and respectful. My larger luggage was left securely downstairs.
What disappointed were the bathrooms weren't regularly attended too (despite the check list suggesting otherwise). Fairly clean... soap was never replaced for the duration of my stay. Whilst sleeping, many doors opening by other guests slammed, and there was no expectation of guests being quiet throughout the hostel. Not the greatest night sleep.
A few tweaks making the place seem a little more like home would make this place great.

The bad:
The mattress is extremely thin and uncomfortable. Both my partner and I had back pain due to feeling the wooden slates that kept digging in our backs every night.
The walls are thin, and we could hear people running up the stair throughout the night.
It’s a bit confusing to get to the Teal Zone.
The good:
Unbeatable location
Friendly staff
On location food that looked good.
WiFi was great!

In general, staff are good, helpful and friendly. The bar food is not bad. The lounge space is comfortable. I always fell asleep on the sofa. Besides, the staff must be fans of Oasis. 😆 I listened to Oasis' songs any times. The pamper parlour is special, but sometimes a little inconvenient because guests have to go to the ground floor to dry hair. The only obvious shortcoming is the bunk is not firm. When the roommate climbs or turn the body, it is as if the earthquake happens. 🤦🤦🤦
s. k.
Staff is great and the bar is a fun place to hangout at night. Everything seems to be broken around the place though. 2 of the 3 showers near our room were broken and the temp could not be adjusted. The washer was broken so had to find another laundry room. Our room was super hot and even though there was a fan it never really cooled down. I give it 3 stars because it is a hostel so you cant expect it to he too great.
Z. R.
Decent hostel. Rooms can get pretty hot and the beds are okay. Breakfast is nice but it's minimal; just cereal, yogurt and toast. Wifi works well but you have to sign in multiple times a day when you're using it. Location is definitely nice as well as the 24 hour reception. Definitely do the free walking tour and the pub crawl was a hit as well.

I stayed at Sohostel for 6 days in the lime area.
The Good: The location is great, very close to Tottenham Court Stn, shopping, restaurant, theatre. Very few other hostels offer the same value/location, that is why i chose this one. And to have a Tesco across the street was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I found the hostel very secure with the buzz in feature and security cards. I did not spend much time in the lounge area, but it was clean and quiet in the morning, a lot of people watching soccer at night.
The Meh: this is more of a product of hostels in general, but bathroom cleanliness highly depends on its guests and unfortunately, during my stay, there were several gross/unsanitary people. I saw staff cleaning the bathrooms/showers every morning when i left and felt immense empathy for them. Late at night, ppl would pee without looking/drip all over the seat, i walked into toilets with puke all over, ppl who did not flush.
The Bad: From talking with one of my roommates, our room was one of the smallest in the building: 8 beds with only a small area between us, only enough room to pull out the lockers from below our beds. He told me there were rooms 3x the size of ours with the same amount of beds. It got very stuffy/musty by the morning, despite opening the window. The window had mold spores all around the ledge. I noticed the same with the Shower areas, where black mold is growing on the ceiling. I just don't like the idea of sleeping in a small room, where ventilation is poor while mold spores are so close to your head as you sleep. I also think carpet is a bad idea in the rooms, very difficult to clean and more chance of things to grow.
The bathrooms are separated: toilets only, showers only, and bathrooms (with toilet+shower+sink). I don't mind this, but the showers desperately need a stool or shelf to put things on. I think the expectation is to put things on the floor, but its often wet and presumed dirty.

Staff were friendly and gave pretty good recommendations for things to do and see around town. They also allowed us to store our bags after we checked out. This hostel does not provide locks or towels. They do have semi-small cages under the beds, once again though bring your own lock.
A. R.
Very good experience for a hostel! Staff is friendly, common space is lively, everything is clean and most of all, cheerful. It even has a "makeup" room with hair dryers and stage room style mirrors! Stayed in a 6 bed room, was simple but clean. Bed has power sockets reading light and an USB charger! The location is obviously also fantastic. Would recommend to a friend!
a. j.
Its more like 3.5 actually. I went there early october 2019, stayed at 4-beds mixed dorm. The hostel was clean and service was very good. Location was really good. Bit dissapointed that the elevator was broken, so we have to bring our luggage all the way to 3rd floor by stairs. And I wish there were curtains to the bed for more privacy and power plugs at each bed instead of only 2 near the bottom bunk bed of one of the bunk beds. Luckily we brought extensions, and our roomates can charge as well.
E. M.
Amazing location, very central. The hostel was very clean, room very basic but it was all good. In the morning when I went for a shower they were getting a good full clean which is always assuring to see! However, there was no power socket in the (female) dorm I stayed in... Luckily I always carry a 20000mAh power bank so thankfully I could get my phones charged up. Fast and free WiFi throughout the hostel. There is a pamper room with GHD straighteners, mirrors and hairdryer which was useful, though you have to walk through a communal area to get there. Another thing to note is that the dorms don't have lockers, they have a cage type of thing that you can lock up but it didn't seem very secure since someone could stick their hand through the gaps... I just left my backpack on the bed locked up.
Overall, if your looking for a cheap and clean place to stay in Central London, then this is a good one for you.
C. C.
Just wonderful, I got a 4 nights reservation in a 4 beds bedroom, it's extremely clean, the staff is nice and serious at work.
All amenities are perfect, the continental breakfast has many items and is very tasty, the bar is just perfect with a handful selection of good beers. Wi-Fi connection is very decent, good restrooms and bathrooms with warm water showers.
The location is just perfect, for me as a 1st timer in London, it helped a lot to have a good experience, I will be back for sure.
L. K.
Clean hostel with good wifi, a nice rooftop patio with cheap drinks during happy hour (5-7), large common room, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms could be bigger and a table would have been helpful. Washrooms are private and majority of showers are private as well. Excellent location!
A. V.
Not bad for my first hostel! The reception guests were really nice and upbeat. The facility itself looks newer and is "hip." The vibe reminded me of my college days so I enjoyed it. I was in a 6 bed dorm and the room was quite small. I'm 5' 1" and I couldn't sit up all the way in my bottom bunk without hitting the top. The lockers are actually roll out cages underneath the bunk beds. If you bring in large luggage it starts to get cramped. The hostel comes with free breakfast so that's a plus. There was also a parlor room which I liked as well...it gave me the privacy to do my hair/make up without hogging the toilet. The location is real nice since it's in Soho. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area for a short amount of time!
m. c.
The best hostel I've visited. Everything was perfect: the location, staff and the facilities. Every member of the staff was eager to please us.
The restaurant/bar it's very cheap and super tasty, to my surprise.
They had a "pamper room" where you could dry and straighten your hair in a salon-style room.
I hope every hostel I visit was like this. Thank you!
J. C.
The room of 4 people and room of 18 people are both comfortable actually. But that kinda depends on who your flatmates are... The service is quite good except some of the staff are not very kind to us. And there's "book exchange" by the reception desk which is interesting and useful for me. There's one part I find inconvenient that you have to pass through all the people having a good time at the bar to get to the hair dryer after shower. The best part is that you can print your boarding pass there!
b. v.
Definitely my favorite hostel to stay at in England. The staff was all fantastic and they were always having events to promote a social atmosphere. There are lockers under the beds and a light and chargers at the top bunks. The bar and kitchen have a great selection and you can't beat the prices anywhere. I will be returning here any chance I get.
G. Z.
Very nice hostel! Bathrooms well maintained, breakfast delicious, many choices of food for you. Very spacious lounge where you can socialise or simply relax on the puffs. Staff pretty friendly and great cleanliness throughout the place too. Excellent location, I did everything I wanted by walking. Really recommend.
M. S. E.
Everything was more than great during our stay in this hostel. The room was clean and comfortable and the toilets and showers were also very clean. There was a 24h reception and the receptionists were super kind. Every host had an individual key card to get into the building so this made us feel safe. The hostel is centrally located, just a few steps from Oxford street and China Town, very convenient as you have a huge variety of restaurants, shops and pubs just next to you. Last but not least, the hostel has a free storage room where you can leave your luggage. Me and my friends would definitely recommend this place and we will come back again on our next trip to London. Thank you very much Sohostel!

I would stay at this hostel again in a six bed dorm and use cleaner bathrooms in other zones — not the ones pictured in the orange zone.
Great location: Supermarket across from the front door, 1 minute to main street with lots of shops.
Accomodation: Stayed in a four bed dorm which felt way too tight and had a crazy lady staying in the same room.
Moved to a six bed dorm which was much better — bigger, more light. Beds seemed clean. (Some construction work happening next door but didn’t affect me)
Vibe: There is a big open area where the bar is where people seem to sit throughout the day. It’s alright.. not the most social space though and not many power points to use.
The “FREE walking tours” are not free and are done by an outside company that drop by the hostel to pick up people before walking to the main public pickup area further down the street. You are then expected to pay a fee for the tour at the end of it. I paid £10 — I’d look into how much other paid tours are next time. I’m happy I went on it though. Be careful as well — the pub the guide took us to after tried to charge me £10 for one cider and a side on its own of chips — the same price others were paying for whole meals. 😂
Facilities: Many bathrooms are extremely dodgy and have mould all around the ceiling, shower frames and more. The hostel replies to some comments about this saying they are renovating but it’s been a long time and they still have the mould... and I saw no builders anywhere inside when I was there.
Some orange area bathrooms were also so small you couldn’t walk into them and close the door without squishing against the wall.
I didn’t use the bathrooms in the orange area my dorm was in and instead walked a bit further to newer bathrooms that were clean in the green area. They should just remove one bathroom or so from the orange area and make them bigger.
Staff seemed nice although early morning staff guy told one guest to see the bar staff for a question he had — he did and then the bar staff said he should ask the front reception staff because they’re currently doing shift change over and front staff have three staff on and they have less... so the guy just ended up having no one do whatever he needed. The front staff were also busy... someone just needs to take responsibility and help guests when they ask.
Overall good time.

A great an inexpensive experience for one night for me personally. Staff helpful, particularly, Alexandro on reception. An interesting mix of guess.Would do it again, for one night only.Breakfast, great choice, particularly the avocado and eggs on toast. Clean and great location. Easy to find from Great Tottenham court tube station.

A great hostel...value for money. It has lifts (yay!) and the interior has been renovated with its purpose in mind. Rooms have charging stations (usb and plugs) and lamps next to each bed.
bathrooms are spacious.
Great service from staff on arrival and available 24/7 to assist if needed. also very secure.
Great location I felt safe the entire time and was easy to walk everywhere from here. Good access to underground and bus stops if walking isn't your thing.
Personally I found the room's overheated for my tastes...but would stay here again.
D. D. (.
This hostel was for the most part clean, the staff was helpful, it was quiet, and the water pressure was great! Keep in mind that there is no AC and the windows are secured close with a stupid cord, so if it's hot you might want to bring a fan. With that being said I'd stay here again!
A. T.
Location is in a fun area with restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Plenty of places to drink and within walking distance to awesome choices for shopping. I was in a 3 person room, it was fun, not too cramped and with a private sink. They're plenty of restrooms and showers on the floor. 2 laundry rooms are available per floor. However, one of the dryers broke down while I was there and did not dry my clothes properly. Also, the machine themselves do not take very big loads, and it costs £4.25 to get tokens for the washer and dryer. You get 1 soap pod, nothing to put in the dryer, and pray your clothes get properly dried. But the staff was helpful and understanding and helped me to the best of their ability. People were always coming and going so seeing lots of different people was fun. Drinks and dinner are relatively cheap. I would say the breakfast is not worth the additional price, you can get something else better, nearby at a somewhat similar price. One bad instance was one of the girls in my floor had her chefs jackets stolen 4 of her 5 jackets taken from the dryer. Do be careful and check your dryer every now and then. Otherwise fun space and great location, would definitely recommend and come back again in the future. FYI I would day it is not disability friendly. There is one elevator that goes to each floor, but many stairs come after the elevator between each sections on the same floor.

We booked that hostel for its location, because from there you can go walking to several top touristic spots.
It is a commom hostel: really friendly staff, reception 24 hours, quite clean showers and toilets around the hostel (not in our rooms), small rooms just to sleep, etc.
Our booking was included the breakfast and it was not bad; also in the bar you can find food and beer with a good price.

SoHostel is probably one of the best hostels I've stayed in. My room wasn't ever really full but 1 night, and even that night everyone was pretty quiet and respectful. Check in was easy, although they did photocopy my passport. One of the receptionists walked my to my room and showed me my bunk and where the room was, along with a quick tour no the property. Beds are about normal hostel... A little loud. The sheets are awesome, and the comforters are pretty warm. The rooms are pretty big, even with 3 bunk beds in here. Enough room they could have put a small table or something. Location is perfect. Tons of Asian food (little China is really close), and some street food. Really close to a few museums, tons of theaters, and shopping. Only complaint is the bathrooms Cann get a little messy, not sure how or why. And the rooms aren't as clean. Looks like the walls are pretty scuffed or might have some mold along the baseboard.
C. &. C.
Nice staff, especially the folks next door at the coffee shop they own. Really cheap, decent food with reasonably fast wifi, good place to do some work. With that said, the rooms themselves are like prison cells. Super small, white walls with nothing on them, and a lonely sink attached to the wall. Like a prison. Be careful if your room is next to the toilet or shower, as the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Bathroom doors don't see to work, people keep slamming them to try to get out. Impossible to sleep for most of night.
R. R.
It was stated that the beds are two separate and the room without a window, upon arrival, both the window in the room and the double bed, which was very pleasing. We stopped at 20:00, opened the room ourselves, talking to the staff on the phone, we didn’t need a passport and we didn’t have to spend time at the reception either, which was also an amazing plus.
· Very hot batteries. And there are no minuses.

I just moved to London last month and stayed in 3 hostels. The first 2 were for a day each and I stayed in SoHostel for about two weeks before moving into my flat. They have the best location in London, the absolute heart of all the action. The staff are kind and courteous, The computer room was large enough that I never had to wait to use the equipment and the morning breakfast wasn't bad. The rooms were nice although at 6'4 the single beds were just slightly too short. If the bars weren't there I'd have loved to hang my feet over the edge. Lots of tours were nearby and the staff have lots of information on what to do and where to go. I also met a lot of really fun people here from all over! Would stay here again.

Good:
Location.
Bad:
Room was hot as hell every day of the stay.
Room was right next to a construction so 7am you start hearing power tools at work.
Room lockers are free-moving rectangular see through cages.
No activities.

Great little hostel right in the middle of Soho. Stayed with 3 friends in a 2 bunk room. Service and facilities were good. Plenty of toilets and showers. Unfortunately the shower I had was cold but my mates said theirs were fine so I must have just been unlucky to pick a dodgy one. Bar was good and cat complain at a cooked breakfast for £1. Would stay there again.
S. S.
Great place in the heart of the city... excellent staff very helpful and caring., Neat and tidy rooms everything was perfect..spent a very good time looking forward to stay again hopefully..❤️❤️
J. S.
In general the hostel was quite good. It is very well located. I got placed in a 18 bed room and it smelled a bit bad (possibly due to the amount of people inside). Staff the very knowledgeable and welcoming
A. T.
I didn’t care for it. It was upsetting that the rooftop bar was closed. That’s why I booked this instead of other cheaper hostels. It’s on a great location. So you’re basically paying for being in soho. I found the luggage room to be a little weird when they make you search through everyone’s luggage even though you have luggage tickets on it. Basic rooms. They did have heating which was amazing! If you book and you don’t like the top bunk like I don’t, email them in advance.
F. K.
- Really great location. Soho is amazing and so is Camden.
- Very clean and lots of activities to participate in
- Slightly noisy for sleeping but earplugs came in handy
- Power outlets were not located near top bunks. I had to crawl over my lower bunk buddy to charge something in on my first night.
- Staff are so-so in terms of professionalism
N. L.
Great location! Very clean rooms. Good breakfast! Only down side was the noise from the construction work nearby early in the morning, and the truck that was picking up glass bottles from Tesco across the street - also very early in the morning.
E. C.
It was a very clean, modern hostel that was very nice for the price point. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I found the area to be very confusing for my first time in London and I got lost quite a few times. It's also in a busy area which might be great for some people but I was definitely kept up at night by the various clubs and bars. Would be perfect for someone looking to experience some nightlife, maybe not for someone just looking to see a bunch of museums like me.
R. B.
The best thing of this hostel is the location. I found it a bit expensive for what it offer, it is not very comfortable as it has lot of stairs for the luggage. I also didn't find the hostel atmosphere for those traveling solo. Resuming, if you are looking good location, it's the best. For other qualities go to generator hostel, I also went there and found it much better.
J. T.
Best location. Staff amazing. Rooms great. If this hostel was a woman I would ask her to marry me.
T. l. o. I. B.
Freindly day staff night porter not freindly could do with fridge and microwave but nice very clean big clean toilets showers good place of your heading out in the west end
D. W.
Honestly, was excellent bang for your buck. Turned up after seeing an evening show, staff were more than friendly, no problems with the booking or payment. My only criticism of the place itself was that it would have been nice to have been told someone else was sharing our room instead of finding someone's stuff there, but since it's a hostel you should expect that I guess.
The area itself isn't the quietest - it's fairly near a long stretch of bars and clubs on the road, which at night are obviously loud.
However, myself and my friends felt safe, secure and snug in the bunks overnight, so what more could you want?
A. B.
It was my first time staying in a hostel, so take me with a bit of salt. I'll start off with the good, first the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and want you to enjoy London. They have events planned and friday nights in the lounge are so much fun! They have a photo booth and a make up room, they have food (which was cheap and delicious), beer, very multiple language inclusive, they've even got karaoke! I really enjoyed my stay here. And if you forget a towel, don't worry they sell them for €1 and even sell locks too! What I didn't care for, and called me a bit spoiled, was the lack of ac or fans. Surprisingly London was very humid and kinda hot, who would have guessed? So I didn't pack any shorts to sleep in and constantly sweated the whole night, top bunk and one tiny little window didn't do much for air flow. The hall ways and rooms were also super moist. It felt like I was always breathing in wet air from everyone's showers, the hallway even smelled like wet dirty laundry. While we were there one of the showers drains clogged and over flowed, which not only one killed shower availability, but also made the rooms and hallways smell super foul. They fixed it luckily within a day. Overall, would I stay here again? The answer is hell yes. The location is superb for walking everywhere and the prices were super affordable.
Y. T.
The bar vibe was really soft, not much going on there. The staff was really friendly and the rooms were clean. I was looking forward the gaming room, but I was told it was temporary out of service... Anyway would recommend as this should be fixed in a month.
K. K.
In general a very nice hostel with especially extremely friendly staff. Good location aswell, and I guess this is what you pay for the most. The only downside for me was the smell while walking through the hostel, some parts had quite a nasty stench. Other than that, no complaints!
K. R.
This place is AMAZING.
I left my passport in my pillowcase (to avoid theft) and in the morning I totally forgot when I left the hostel.
When I returned a couple hours after check out, the staff went above and beyond to retrieve it from the cleaning company. The cleaning company checked for it and they “couldn’t” find it. But the staff was persistent and check the linens themselves and retrieved my passport.
They are lifesavers and I definitely recommend staying here.
C. S.
We were there as a group of 65 high school students at the start of July. The service was good, clean bathrooms and rooms were comfortable, although extremely hot despite the fan (probably because windows only open a few cm). Sometimes staff seemed a bit annoyed with the large and young group, but were still helpful.
H. P.
Right in the heart of Soho, you couldn't all for a better location. The hostel, although large, has a very welcoming and personal touch. Thank you to Gregory for taking the time to show me around the hostel. The staff really make you feel at home. Very safe and secure hostel. A big recommendation to stay here.
J.
Location: very close to subway and Chinatown. Can easily shop and eat around.
Free walking tour is the best way to know the history of London. Start from morning and end around 12~1pm. Recommend if you don't have any plan in mind, join it on the first day.
If you have book room with breakfast, you can choose in the morning.
M. S.
Nice place with a decent lounge that sells drinks and food. The staff is OK. Some are fun and cool but others are kind of standoffish. Recommend taking the free tour if it's your first time in the city. They take you to see the parliament building, Buckingham palace and Westminster area with great stories and advice from the tour guide. The tour helps you realize how quick and easy it is to walk around to see the sites. Things I do not like are the showers. They are tiny rooms with nowhere to put your clothes down and there's no air conditioning.
L. M.
Everyone is really nice, the rooms are simple but very clean. Same goes for the bathrooms and toilets. You have enough of them for everyone to be comfortable.
Nice breakfast buffet for £5.
Would definitely come again!
C. W. T.
The staffs were really nice and friendly, especially the guy with fluffy hair.
Hygiene is not perfect. The room I was staying had two people snoring like concert.
J. B.
Great location! Walking distance from Soho and China town. Perfect for walking and enjoying the night life. Many restaurants and bars all around. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious, many bathrooms, theres a rooftop bar. Wifi in the room, and breakfast is better than expected. My first choice for when I return to London.
N. C.
Cool hostel that is pretty much in the city center (most things were close by).
Not the most comfortable beds to sleep in, but it was ok. I felt that I had to lay still so that I didn't bother my neighbours. Luckily I was in a room where we had our own bathroom.
Breakfast was at the hostel which is a plus for me :) I would stay here again, since it is so in the middle of things.
d. a.
Good location, bar is nice and drink is cheap.
6 bed dorm was nice and clean.
I do wish the breakfast started a bit earlier or it was clearer on the website at which time it started at.
K. G.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities including a computer room, pamper room, cute rooftop bar, and large common area. Breakfast not free but affordable, plus coffee is free in the morning and cake is also for the taking during the day. A large fan in the dorm was an added plus.
K. T.
Quiet new hostel in the centre of London. It is hard to get something cheaper in this area. There are option within walking distance but the slightly higher price is compensated by great breakfast which was I believe one of the best that London's hostels for similar price can offer. The staff was nice and helpful especially the girl working in the basement during the breakfast. The hostel has also a bar area where one can easily meet new people if traveling alone. Definitely recommended!
j. r.
Stayed for nights and loved it! 20meters from a grocery store, 50meters from Oxford street and minutes from the closest tube station. I found this hostel better than most hotels. It was a positive and outgoing environment without being to wild. The breakfast wad so delicious and the dinner food such at soup and chicken pie- which i had both for around £3-5 was amazing! The staff was always extremely helful offering advice, opening doors and i even got a free drink one night as they were busy and tea took a short while longer. My only downfall was the shower was a bit hard to workout and then was mostly extra hot. But thats being really picky! I stay here anytime, thanks for a great London experience! :)
B.
Basic, but very reasonably priced. Great location and importantly, CLEAN. Staff helpful. All good. Would stay again
G.
Super fun hostel! Rooms and bathrooms were clean! The bar area is very cool and always social. Would recommend if you’re into socializing and a mellow party atmosphere
B. S.
Stayed for one night in a twin room. Room was clean, food was decent, bar was reasonably priced. My only complaints that the halls constantly smelled like the bathroom (freshly used) and not a very good value. For two pounds less I booked a hotel 5 minute walk away with a private shower.
t.
Perfect location! Couldn‘t be better!
But our room (2 ppl) was extremely small! I even suffered claustrophobia! A lot of things (restrooms, showers) were defect! And the rooftop-bar, which they presented as the highlight of the hostel, was closed.
G. G.
SoHostel was a lovely place to stay- the staff were all very friendly and welcoming to me and the whole atmosphere felt very relaxed. Their book exchange- where you can swap one of your own books for one of theirs- was very cool.
The rooms are your typical hostel fare- smallish with bunk beds- but comfy. One of the toilets had a strange quirk- you had to squash yourself right in the corner to shut the door.
The location was prime and right on the doorstep of various clubs, pubs and strip joints in Soho. I felt the check-out time of 10am was a little early, considering most of their clientelle will be likely to be wasted from the night before!
J. b.
One of the best hostels in London.
Excellent location. Cleaned. Staff helpful.
I recommend it, if you are on budget avoid paying the underground.
And visit London by walk from this Hostel it's really easy if you are not lazy :-)
British museum 20 min walk, Oxford street 30 seconds walk. Piccadilly circus 20 min etc.... Clean hostel VERY IMPORTANT
C. N.
Not the cleanest rooms, quite rubbish beds, not the most privacy (space under the doors) and loud ventilation. Great staff, and location. Good price for london. Worth it but hope they couldve kept better hygiene and better pillows.. also there was a cute dining area and bar (overall a really good vibe from the hostel).
M. I.
SoHostel is a really nice place to stay. Dorms are good, the bar is fine, you can get everything. And the breakfast is also good for this price-range. However, the staff is the most brilliant part of the place. Especially Paweł Masalski. I left my jacket in the room, and flew back to the Netherlands, and he helped me retrieve it, he put so much effort in getting it back to me. This is service like you want it!!
J. S.
I stayed about 6days in Sohostel and I can tell it was a great stay. First of all, the location was fantastic for the tour and nightlife. Train station is nearby where you can go anywhere and the bars and clubs were crazy in Soho which is also near. Staffs were nice and kind. Bed was comfortable enough compare to the average hostels. I do recommend you this place for your stay in London.
M. T. E.
Good value for the price. The bathrooms are outside the room, in other hostels i have been the wardrobe/looks where located in the hall of the room, so you could prepare the luggage without annoy the mate rooms that are sleeping, this is not the case of sohostel...
In sohostel you can eat well and cheap, but i have to say that the vegetarian burger was not good the "meat", may be you can try burguers of soy protein that are more tasty.
In brief i recommend the hostel if you want to save money and stay well located, but if you have a light sleep may be is not the best option. Also i recommend the restaurant.
T. L.
This place is in a great location in the heart of central London and Soho which is the gay village of London. It's accessible to various other locations via the London Underground system and London buses.
The hostel is always kept clean and tidy and the communal toilets are regularly checked and cleaned throughout the day and night.
The hostel is always putting on various events like karaoke and different sporting events shown on the TV.
When it comes to the food that is served in the kitchen there is so much variety at excellent prices considering the location where it's based.
So if you fancy BBQ chicken wings, sirloin steak with all the trimmings, spaghetti carbonara or a pizza with a beer going into the hostel and ordering dinner is the best that you're going to get because it's all fresh and made from scratch by Desmond.
F. P.
The location of this hostel is perfect! It was walking distance to theaters, restaurants, Soho Park, super market (Tesco) even the British Museum. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Happy hour was a bonus.
I would stay there again.
C. S.
This would be the best hostel we have ever stayed in.
Very friendly and helpful staff, well organised and prompt .
Room small but clean and the wash basin in room was great .
Meals here were brilliant , better than a lot of restaurant meals we have had , value priced as well , there was no point eating anywhere else .
Far exceeded our expectations and highly recommended.
E. L.
Not bad, but plenty of things that could have been done better. Power outlets didn't work for any of the rooms, only the ones in the halls work. Be aware, you have to pay £3 for a towel, so bring your own if you can fit it.
X.
Very good place to stay with family or friends if you don't mind to share room and toilet. Very near to Soho and the Notenham station. Clean and tidy. The breakfast is good and sometimes they have good hot coroisants. Good place with young people and very good service. The bar and the reception are opened all day and night.
C. J.
Good location, you can easy to walk or take the subway to famous spots. But the hostel is quite like a maze, you have to memorize the way to get your room, and the wall socket seems doesn't work or maybe the energy is too low that I charged my mobile 1 nite but only got 10% power.😌
P. N.
Very well placed if you are exploring London, good rooms with electrical sockets at each bed and metal cages to lock your stuff in (bring a padlock). The only drawback is the excessively loud evenings in the restaurant/pub/common area, although I could not hear them from my room, it would have been nice if at least one evening could be spent speaking with your friends without having to shout...
A. P.
Booked 2 beds in a 4-bed room, Golden Area.
The hostel looks young, dynamic, very helpful staff; different sleeping areas are separated with colours. Clean and well organised, has an elevator.
Room: the room IS very small and only has 2 beds, a mirror and a window. That's it. No table, no chairs. Be aware of that.
Location: is excellent for the price, tourist objectives within walking distance, also near transportation and pubs/eating places. There's also a Tesco Market opposite the street.
Cleanliness: very good; the bed is done/changed sheets on a daily basis. Be aware to bring your own towel or rent one for 3£. They don't have any slippers (not even to buy), bring your own.
Bonuses: there's a Pamper&Parlour room to get one's hair done and also an internet room with PC. There's a Photo Booth in the Lounge area.
It seems a great place to book with friends.
What i didn't like: lack of table/chair in the room, poor door/walls isolation - you can hear people on the corridory.
Also, you must buy your own padlock! Go to the nearby Tesco, it's 5£ for 2 padlocks.
E. T.
Sohostel is a good hostel and it's number one feature are the amazing and friendly employees. Very nice people that help in any and everyway they can. After that the location is unbeatable. Less than a 2 min walk to the tram/subway, surrounded by pubs and restaurants, also really close to China Town and Trafalgar square, truthfully you could walk to the Qween Elizabeth tower from the hostel if you wanted to, everything is pretty close. The rooms based on how many beds you have are not too bad on space. The 6 bed dorm with the included bathroom is the best in my opinion but if you get a room without an attached bathroom, there are at least 7 bathrooms on each floor so you'll be ok. A free walking tour is offered that is really nice. The lounge also has discount tickets to other things like pub crawls that will keep you busy. Over all Sohostel is a good choice for anyone backpacking and wanting a place to stay and make new friends or just do solo things.
D. E. C.
Great location and staff are very friendly. I never tried a hostel before and probably will never try them again but its located so conveniently between 2 underground stations with Tesco Metro right in front of it. Had a good experience overall.
M. T.
For the price, it can't be beat! The location was easy to get to from the tube - either Leicester station or Tottenham Court station. My stay included breakfast which was simple (toast, cereal, juice) but made it easy to start each day. All the facilities were extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again when back in London.
a. a.
Perfect place but I hate the fact that you need to checkout at 10 am.. I mean who parties all night then wakes up at 9 to get ready to leave? Also who books in London a hostel at 10 am.. they realy need to push it to at least 1 PM..
Living room needs a microwave Haha.. the rest is just aweosme..
R. C.
I only popped in for a drink as my friend was staying here for the night. It looked well equipped, there was a great late bar and it was well frequented. It was very popular among younger backpackers and visitors to London. Very well located in Soho just yards from Oxford Street.
W. S.
Great service! Love the dorm that me and my friends stayed is so comfortable! The toilets are really clean. Love the staff as they are really friendly and amazing!
J. C.
Clean with friendly staff, if you pay for breakfast as part if your stay they have continental which is cereal or toast . Only three stars because the water in the shower was luke warm at its hottest the whole time we were there and the heating in the room took a while to kick in but then got extremely warm over night.
B. M.
No air conditioner in the rooms or common area, so if there's warm weather you'll have a bad time (like us). The room's windows face to a dirty rooftop of other buildings so i was scared when opening the windows (as it was REALLY hot) some mouse could get in (i didn't see none but it was full of pigeons). Ants did come in a lot.
Bathrooms were always dirty.
People could eat inside the rooms, so added to the hotness inside the rooms, if your roomate is a curry fan, the mix of both things was really bad.
Very nice staff.
Breakfast didn't have any protein, it consisted in butter, cheese, bread, cereal, milk, cokies, coffee, some fruits and juice. No egg or any kind of meat. I think you had to pay extra to get that. Altough what i wrote, Breakfast was very nice.
You could leave your luggage for no extra fee, that was nice.
Location was GREAT! Really nice neighbourhood.
There was no nice atmosphere as the common space was super hot and didn't have any windows.
E.
Literally love this place so much can’t wait to come back
D. W.
Didn't get much of a sleep, walls are you thin and whenever someone closed an internal corridor I woke up. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout during both dinner and breakfast and the check in was excellent with good detail provided.
F. C.
Pretty much a dormitory, but the price is fair considering you're right in soho.
Showers and bathrooms are separate from your personal room, so be prepared to walk down the hallway; especially if you have to use the toilet in the middle of the night - the hallway lights will be fully on and blinding.
Rooms are Spartan - single bed, or bunkbeds, and a sink. Small space. Towel. Bed sheets and blanket. Pillow.
This place is all about location and pricing.
C.
A truly excellent place to stay for people visiting London on a budget.
Perfect location in Soho, a stone's throw away from the beating heart of the city and a great value hostel.
Delightful staff (Erick, Johnny & Jordan in particular made our stay awesome), clean and comfortable rooms, fun bar/breakfast room and free internet! What more could you ask for? How about a free Pamper Parlour (oh yeah, they've got one of them too)!
P. A.
You get what you pay for and this place is cheap. Couldn't ask for a better location. It was December when I stayed and the window next to my bed was cracked, making the bed linens cold and damp. I'm surprised I didn't freeze to death in my sleep. Still somehow not the worst hostel I've stayed at.
N. C.
Cheap, clean and central. It's 5 minutes walk from several major tube lines, just off Oxford street and a stones throw from Leicester Square. The rooms are nice with options for smaller shares for two or dorms depending on budget. The share areas are modern and well stocked and there's really good free WiFi throughout the building.
J. M.
Good cheap hostel in a great area. Very suited for backpackers cheap food, cheap booze, cheap breakfast but soo worth it. Bathroom floors need scrubbing and maybe a chair in the room? But fantastic!
A. Q.
The bar is nice and bar staff are friendly. The rooms are very basic, no lockers or towels provided. Ok for the price.
M. R.
Very helpful and very good staffs with very nice behaviour, respecting others privacy and property, freedom, caring and loving their guests. They are doing there excellent service. I’m very happy.
O. L.
jake and david are the freakin best.
the bar is awesome and has great drinks!! they got us drunk literally every night it was amazing. the food is great too and the rooms are clean 👍🏼👍🏼 fav hostel in all of europe
A. C.
Great cheap place to get your head down for the night, very well located with plenty of places within walking distance (Soho, Leicester Square, Covent Garden etc) and easy access to the central line on the tube. Great social break out space, clean, great facilities. Currently construction work ongoing on the north side of the building causing some disruption but cannot be helped. Highly recommend!
O. P.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Lounge is fun with really good cheap food and drinks. Everything is clean and AMAZING location. Tons of events. This hostel blew me away.
H. V.
Here writting at 1.34am inside and seated on the couch because of the hard noise in the bar. Hard noise of people and hight music in the middle of the night in a hostal where people are here trying sleep a bit after of a long day doing tourism. That is the meaning of people ordering a hotel for a couple of days in a city like London. I don't recommend it because isn't possible sleep. The worst treat to the people who want rest at night. Hight, higth music in the bar.
J. M.
You get what you pay for but the location is superb
Only downside are paper thin walls and bed pushed in corner (no en-suite) with one thin pillow each. But at least we traded up from the dorms!
K. D.
Excellent hostel, clean and amazing location. Great for the price. Have stayed multiple times when visiting London and has been great every time. Will stay again.
S. F.
Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Walls are very thin so you can hear guests slamming doors at all hours of the night.
s. s.
Bit expensive compared to other hostels I've stayed in, in London. Clean. Did not expect to be staying in mixed sex room, wasn't made clear when I booked over phone.
S. M.
A perfect little hostel near everything. Very clean the only reason it hasn’t got 5 stars was because of the heat issue, my room was so hot even with a fan running all night it was unbearable, I was glad I was only staying one night!
C. B.
Clean and modern. Showers and toilets were good. Slept well although mattress was slightly thin. Breakfast was a good selection and lots to eat
N. M.
It’s affordable, nice staff, 24 h reception. Rooms are functional, showers could provide shower gel and shampoo dispensers.
C. B.
It was comfortable enough but there are very few charging points and there were none by my bed and a couple that were hard to find in the common area. Also, in hot weather it's uncomfortably warm.
N. K.
Good for a short stay, veeeerry central. Would go again and choose a private room for 2 again. Bring flipflops for the showers (good idea in hostels anyways).
O. G.
Very clean and nice place to stay if you're looking for a budget place in London.
The staff were nice, the location is great.
So definitely recommend it.
A. W. (.
Very clean, very descent hostel staff, friendly and comfortable surroundings.
D. P.
So clean! Such great deals! And such nice staff! This review may have something to do with the tastiest cheapest pints in soho but I swear I stayed overnight.
J. C.
What I love the most about SoHostel is its location, right at the heart of London's artistic WestEnd! And at walking distance of a lot of Londons main historic attractions. I would sincerely come again! Rooms are clean and safe, staff is very friendly and helpfup and it has many activities for the bored traveller.
C. C.
Rooms were lovely. Great breakfast options. Couldn't ask for anything better tbf. Staff were also really nice
R. F.
Really nice and clean, they have a full bar which is cool. The room I stayed in was a bit cramped which made it hard to move around if everyone was getting ready at the same time
G. D.
Great location, helpful staff. I would visit again. I would state they should promote their laundry room which would have been helpful as I would have liked to wash some of my clothes I brought with me.
M. D.
Such a nice hostel. Staff is so helpful. The bar does not always have food, but the rest is good
C. B.
Nice amentities. The rooms and communal bathrooms were clean. Bring your own towel to avoid getting charged. Overall great experience!
J. L.
First time at a hostel and we really enjoyed it. Nice place, great location, good food and drink specials, clean rooms and showers.
P. P.
The beds may not be the most confortable, but the location is great, right in the midle of SoHo. But above all,, the management of this place are the best of the best. I have a serious trouble with my flight and they saved my holidays.
c. m.
I absolutely loved it. It was right behind Leicester Square. all floors had different access keys which was very nice. Was not sound proofed so I could hear people walking in the halls and the people in the room next to me.
M. W.
I checked in at 1am and found two very happy staff members which greeted me by name and happily showed me to my room. For budget accommodation I was treat extra well and would love to return.
I. O.
Clean, friendly staff, lots of events! inclusive, lots of utilities, good bar/restaurant, fair prices. Best hostel ive had so far!
G. C.
The staffs are friendly and the service that they provided is good and friendly. The hostel is the central point of the Oxford street and convienent for the customers to go shopping!
V. N.
Great place! Very nice staff. Much better than I expected it to be, I recommend SoHostel warmly - will definately return and live there next time I visit London.
S. K.
Nice people there but it can be noisy when someone is going to the bathroom and slams the doors. A clean, modern and cozy place.
A. A.
Very cozy, and nice buffet English/continental breakfast with great location, only few meters from the commercial Oxford Street... Staff is somehow clueless and discourteous at the night shift!
U.
Rooms are okay and staff are friendly. My bedside light wasnt working and the shower closest to my room was out of order, but these aside was a.pleasant stay.
D. O.
Friendly people, rooms are okay, but great if you are on a tight budget. Not a bad part of town and easy to get to all the sights.
D. M.
The location is very hit and miss. A couple minutes walk from Oxford Street however those couple minutes are navigating a labyrinth of crack head littered back streets.
It took me over half an hour to check in because no staff seemed to be able to speak English and I was assigned a top bunk despite my email request for a bottom bunk upon initial booking. A request which clearly fell upon deaf ears despite an apparent acceptance.
T. L.
Excellent hostel, walking distance to Buckingham palace and other touristic spots, and 3 blocks away from metro station. Very kind employees and great breakfast!
I. O.
Very nice, clean, friendly staff and good food- would have appreciated more toilets- there seemed to be only two for a whole dorm!
B. A.
It was an awesome stay! I really enjoyed myself while I was here! The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere was good!
S.
Helpful staff, very clean, great location, and always running interesting events! I would highly recommend this hostel.
A. M.
Staff were brillant and super location but room left something to be desired. There was a smell thoigh we didnt actually give them a chance to rectify the situation as didnt bring it to their attention (we had been difficult already).
R. C.
Really cool location in SoHo - however hostel felt very clinical, hot and limited social atmosphere. Considering that this is Central London and this is good for the price, I would still recommend
c. a.
Nice hostel, clean, easy to find, good place, in front there is a Tesco score. I booked with included breakfast and it was a continental one but good quality.
M. D.
Warm inviting and helpful staff. Centrally located but still fairly quiet.Clean and organized. Why can't every hostel follow this design.
F. S.
Good place
Fantastic location
Friendly staff
One problem in winter is heating, bathroom, very cold and winds coming in, couldn’t take shower...
Recommend anyways
C. B.

Nice place to stay, good food, and cool interior. The only bad thing is pretty much that the wifi sucks. Not even 1mbit/s.
