i. f.Iv read some not good reviews but people need to remember this hotel is very good location and most hotels in same road and near by are very expensive
I stayed in one hotel round corner with my mam (who needs a wheelchair can’t walk far) we where put in basement and I was told I had to carry wheelchair up snd down the stairs going in or out room .
After 5 night’s I looked for nother hotel all expensive till I found Stanley hotel man on reception was very friendly helpful. Hotel room was bigger them most Iv seen and very clean own private bathroom lovely white clean towels.
Tv also in room .
Free breakfast which was very nice and staff can’t do enough for you excellent staff.
Free WiFi all over hotel unlike most and can leave luggage in storeage on departure day unlike the hotel we stayed in days befor and had to pay £5 to leave case and was un attended in laundry room .
So people please remember what you pay and where the hotel is located.
I also didn’t have to carry wheelchair up and down the stairs every time I went in or out .
I’d book there again if I go to London .

And I must say that for the price that they have the quality is very good. And also you have a free breakfast added to your hotel price. The free breakfast is a traditional English breakfast with coffee. Also the area is quiet so sleeping was not a problem.

V. M.We had a comfortable stay, in a quiet room, where nothing was too fancy. The place is a little old, so are some of it's installations (our bathroom door didn't close properly). The breakfast isn't buffet and they don't offer many options (no fruits, yoghurt, oat nor cereal), but it is OK: tea, coffee or milk, toasts, jam, English breakfast. Good place for a short (couple of nights) stay.
B. J.I stayed here for 2 nights in the highest floor. The room was small but tidy with what I expected for 2-star hotel. The people at the front were very nice also with the workers in the dining room. Plus, great location. The 24hour bus line24 is about 2 minutes away from the hotel. That's even better I think.

C. M.Lovely hotel, rooms are small but very cosy and warm. Breakfast is yummy and tea was delicious. Greeted by warm welcome and a warm lobby. Would suggest staying here if you want to be close to public transport and local activities.

T. I. R.I stayed in the Stanley House basment in a three bed room. Its very basic but great for someone traveling alone looking for a cheap stay out of the cold. The bathroom was very small with a toilet a small shower and a sink. But like I said, it worked for me. Nothing fancy. They do offer free breakfast and free wifi. Which was a major plus for me.

The shower had its trick, you had to be very precise so that the water came out at a normal temperature. If not, burning water and ice water came out at the same time.
Breakfast was quite good. You have instant coffee that you serve yourself and milk, tea, weetabix and corn flakes, and you can also order English breakfast (a spoonful of beans with tomato, a sausage, a fried egg) and they also bring you a couple of toasts. On the table you have butter and jam. You don't go hungry, really.
The cleaning of the room was quite good, we did not find anything strange and it was acceptable.

El personal, el 90% de as veces, fue muy amable y servicial. Tienen servicio de guarda maletas, lo cual es un plus.
La habitación estaba bien, pero la cama era MUY incómoda, tanto que se iba hacia un lado y tuvimos que calzarla con mantas. A parte de eso, era dura, estaba gastada, y se te clavaban todos los muelles... Pero vamos, que si llegas al hotel cansado, vas a dormir igual...
La ducha tenía su truco, tenías que ser muy preciso para que el agua saliera a una temperatura normal. Si no, te salía agua ardiendo y agua helada a la vez.
El desayuno estaba bastante bien. Tienes café instantáneao que te sirves tú mismo y leche, té, weetabix y corn flakes, y a parte puedes pedir English breakfast (una cucharada de alubias con tomate, una salchicha, un huevo frito) y también te traen un par de tostadas. En la mesa tienes mantequilla y mermelada. Hambre no pasas, la verdad.
La limpieza de la habitación fue bastante bien, no encontramos nada extraño y estaba aceptable.
Es mi segunda vez en este hotel y volvería a ir.
