She is always available as every mother is for her child. I don't wanna comment on their breakfast because it is always serve and on time. You can't imagine I spotted the manager himself doing the cleaning of the rooms! Humble servant! Hey, it won't be fair if I did not comment about the young lady at the restaurant who always make sure breakfast is always serve on time. Perfect management team. Kudos!

A. H.As with most hotels of a similar size (approx 26 rooms) the room sizes can vary from compact to more than adequate but they are clean and tidy and the bathrooms are all fairly new. Rooms are currently being refurbished to include LED lighting on the headboards and built in USB power sockets. Breakfast is the usual continental style affair and the owner and his wife and helpers are all very friendly. As a long term occupier due to work the only thing I miss is a small fridge but if you asked the owner I'm sure he'd work something out.

Full size Tesco supermarket 50m away. Lots of good cafes, restaurants, pubs, services all within close proximity. A nice little park Brook Green is on your doorstep for walks, greenery, tennis etc. You could even stay here for a long period of time if you are starting to live in London, not just on holiday. Anyway, I cannot fault the place - I know what other London accommodation and operators are like. Fantastic place - thanks, keep up the good work :-)

My family of five; me, my wife, two teenage girls, and mother-in-law, stayed at the Star Hotel for 4 nights in July. Let me just start with this, Luigi, you did a great job, please extend my thanks to your wife, your sister and the rest of your staff.
Both my wife and I had been to London on business, but this was our first trip to London for vacation. On business, we simply booked where our companies advised. For vacation, we wanted bed and breakfast style accommodations. We wanted it to be close to the Tube, and reasonably priced. We got all three from the Star Hotel.
The communication with Luigi and Stefania before we arrived was excellent. They advised me that the hotel was “European” style. That meant smaller rooms as compared to U.S. style rooms, and no lift / elevator. We booked two rooms for the five of us. Yes, the rooms were small, but not that small. I am a big guy, and the room was fine. Besides, we were not there to hang out in the hotel. We were there to take in London. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Our rooms were on the ground floor, so the lift was not an issue for us. The breakfast room was nice, and just what I had envisioned in my mind. The food was plentiful, and well prepared. The hotel is about 3 blocks from the Hammersmith Tube station. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk. The area is safe. We never felt uncomfortable walking back to the hotel late in the evening.
Let me close with this. Luigi, thanks for loaning me the £10 until I has some local currency. To your wife, thank you for buying cream for my wife’s morning coffee. To the rest of your staff, thank you. I hope to go to London again for our 30th wedding anniversary (2015). We will definitely book with you again.

Room & toilet are spick & span , including breakfast room too ! The place is cosy & comfortable . Owner & staff are kind & friendly. There is a chinese takeaway restaurant , post office & Tesco supermarket just opposite the hotel. Hammersmith station is just a 10 minute walk away. Direct tube from Hammersmith station to Heathrow Airport . We had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel.

s.Luigi the manager is great. The family lived there. He is very helpful. They remodeled this old Victorian over 8 years, finishing in December. The double room was small and could use more hooks to hang things. But it was lovely otherwise, and the bed comfortable. The shower is new and lovely. Breakfast buffet is included.
This hotel is in Hammersmith, west of the City, but easy to get around on the Tube.
It is a rather busy street, but I’m sure that is true of most hotels in London.

L. O.Hotel about 300 meters from Hammersmith station which is well connected to the most important underground lines and therefore to the best attractions in London. We booked room no. 10 on the first floor on the opposite side of the road that passes in front of the hotel. Room with 4 beds at a slightly higher price for the area but the room was large, very clean, with comfortable beds and a new bathroom. The owner and staff speak good Italian and have a promotion always active euro = pound that allows you to save about 11% on prices.
Courtesy from almost all the staff and very good and abundant breakfast.
The only flaw apart from the short distance from the underground is that the floors must be wooden so even with carpet you can hear the footsteps and movements of the people staying in the room above yours.
I highly recommend it to families with children like ours.

Very good value for money, 10 minutes from the subway, with good connections from there. The traffic outside the hotel is unmistakable; earplugs are helpful in a pinch. Compared to some other accommodations in Great Britain, the Star Hotel rightfully deserves more than three stars. Its awards prove this.
J. B.Every corner of the room is not ordinary clean, it is extremely clean, surpassing most hotels, and the room is cleaned every day.
Although breakfast only has a variety of bread, jam, cheese, ham, drinks, snacks, yogurt, fruit and vegetable butter. But the bread is delicious, and so are the other items. The service staff can heat bread and the like, and ask the waiters to help make coffee, tea, etc.
The front desk staff was friendly and helped me with my luggage.
The bed is soft and flexible, not cloyingly soft, but a very good bed.
The stairs may not be suitable for Chinese people (most hotel stairs are like this), but they are carpeted.
There are charging sockets and small desk lamps and bedside lamps on both sides of the bed in the double room. There are USB charging sockets and sockets for chargers in various countries beside the table.
The windows can be opened wide (a rarity in the UK) and the heating can be adjusted on its own.
It feels like they really care about their guests, and the price is really suitable for the location and quality.

M. R.A truly wonderful little bed and breakfast. The location is truly fantastic. You can reach all the city center attractions in a reasonable amount of time, and there are several tube lines to choose from. The room was very tidy and clean and offered plenty of space for four people. The children had proper beds of their own. The furniture was new, the walls were freshly painted, and the bathroom was clean and bright. There was even a European power outlet and USB ports. The owners are very accommodating and happy to help. The breakfast is simple and good. There is cold cuts, cheese, the usual jams and Nutella, etc., four different types of cereal, pastries, juices, milk, yogurts, coffee, tea, etc. We were satisfied and always left full. Tickets were even printed upon request (online entry is cheaper). Since the hotel is on a road, you have to expect some street noise. However, you are already in the city, close to all the attractions. A Tesco supermarket is right across the street, and two malls are within walking distance. We would gladly come back.

Indeed, the room and the entire building was very clean. Beds were good size and perfect mattresses. What came as a surprise was the great breakfast that the owners offered every morning. There was good variety and everything was fresh baked/prepared. Kids loved getting breakfast before hitting the road to explore London. Only 9 minutes walk for Hammersmith tube station. The owners were also very helpful! I definately recommend this place!

Ok für die die es mögen könnte es noch Obst, Eier und Speck geben, aber für den Preis absolut top. Anbindung zur Untergrund in maximal 10 min. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen wenn der Preis so bleibt :)

El desayuno es más que correcto y el precio super competitivo. Está muy bien comunicado con el centro de Londres y en la zona hay supermercado, tiendas y restaurantes. Gracias a Daniel por su atención...en español, jajaja. Nos facilita mucho más las cosas a los que no dominamos mucho el idioma. Si vuelvo a Londres este hotel será mi elección, sin duda.

G. M.I've very much enjoyed my stay at the Star Hotel. The rooms, while "cozy" are fabulously clean. I have loved the complementary breakfast each morning and the location is perfect, as it is just a short 10 minute walk to the Tube or a 15 minute walk to the Westfield Shopping center. This family run Bed and Breakfast is HIGHLY recommended.
