A. J.Just returned from a fantastic over night stay here. Lorrena and Graham were nothing short of fabulous on our arrival, attentive and made as feel so welcomed as we walked through the door.
We received a free upgrade and the room was spotless. Had a fabulous evening because of the location, everything within walking distance.
Wouldn’t hesitate coming back when we are next in town.

A. E.Great hotel. All the staff, especially the deputy manageress, Laraina. She is a diamond. She was a pleasure to meet, even saying hello to me on the street near Harrods. She went out of her way to help and welcome my family, of which was visiting me. Clive and all of the other staff are fantastic.
I always use the hotel, having used the mandarin Oriental. But the staff are fantastic.
You can't go wrong with the capital. Its the friendliest hotel in London by far.

Had plenty of time to enjoy the food, the views and the lovely decor. Aliyah was our host, and she did a fantastic job in setting up each part of the tea, helping us with refills, describing what we were about to eat and genuinely coming across caring and wanting us to have a great time. The food was excellent too, especially the scones! Highly recommend!

We stayed recently to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday and the staff could not have been more attentive. The building is beautiful and maintained to a high standard.

Standard of apartments are excellent even though they are relatively of an older style. I will definitely be returning.

T. M.We don't want to tell you about this hotel as you might block our favourite room. Throughout , our charming waiter Cesar offered us extras of anything we wanted but what was on offer initially was more than enough. Very close to the Kingsbridge tube and Harrods is down the street.

Since change of ownership this has continued and aspects of the facilities require a refresh. Also the food/experience is becoming harder to justify it's price.

The bar at the Capital is very good too. The staff here are more like a family who go that extra mile to ensure that your stay is perfect. Can't recommend it enough.

It's a 5 stars hotels because of the warm welcome, great and nice people, from the front desk to the housekeepers. Everyone were dedicated and professional.
A fresh renovation would be nice in the near future, it's a bit old fashioned in rooms and add little extra we can find in any 5 stars nowaday: offer a coffee service, something to charge cellphones, a complete set for the mini bar

After staying at The Capital Hotel last week for a few days, I´m encouraged to write this comment and briefing, to thank everyone in this friendly place.
This was not our first time at The Capital Hotel, and each time we arrive with my wife, we feel at home.
The marvellous staff it´s the most important asset of this place.
Mrs Lorena Somera, Mr. Graham Luff, Mr. Clive Smith, Mr Bruno and Mr. Lucio are the people who will make you feel that wonderful sensation of being where you belong.
The rooms, the restaurant, and the renovated bar are simple excellent.
We found the perfect Hotel, in the perfect place, in the great city of London.

J. H.Just got home from a lovely free-flowing cocktail afternoon tea at The Capital Hotel. We were seated in a quiet six table room by the window. Offer cocktails straight away, started with Bellinis then went on to the Cosmos. Wide selection of teas. Food began with sandwiches which were very nice, and cheese scones which were absolutely delicious! We were offered seconds which we gladly accepted! Sweets were very nice too and the plain/mixed scones were very yummy! We were offered cocktails and tea top ups regularly, staff were very attentive, we didn’t feel rushed at all, would definitely recommend!
D. S.We headed there for the set lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the soup with was one of their signature dishes. The mains were sizeable, especially for fish and we took great delight in polishing it off. Desert was pleasant though not quite so unique.
