I went to a birthday party. ...
Lovely, Traditional pub with original features, very roomy with clean spacious washrooms. ..
Although, the bar staff were extremely busy, they maintained their professionalism & were smiling friendly & patient.
I would visit again! Thanks to all the staff!
Well Done all. ...

Cheap and cheerful, handy for the people I was visiting. First room was damp so we had to change after the first night. The second room was right on the main road, noisy but preferable to being damp, staff were helpful once they'd acknowledged the problem and moved us pretty quickly.
I'd stay there again for convenience fo' sho', but I'd check the room a bit more thoroughly first! 😀 Oh, oh, oh, didn't indulge this time, but from past experience the sushi is utterly on point. 🍣🍣🍣

Just stayed in the hotel for a few days an amazing place such a friendly and really here to help team the rooms are very clean and also organised and the restaurant next door is not so bad either overall a great place to visit recommended as well the pub a good place to spend the night at with good energy

Nice hotel staff in the pub were nice, unfortunately there was building work was going on when we were there so restaurant was not open ( 24/2/22 )

Had a great Friday night out in this lovely spacious bar. Great music and djs

Refurbished! In very good nick. Garden at back is great, loads of space between tables. Will definitely be going there again.
First beer tasted a bit soapy, but barman replaced the second half and it was fine. Looking forward to trying the food

Rooms are nice, affordable. Surprisingly lovely bar/pub downstairs, really big and nicely decorated.

Love the refurb inside, well overdue!! And it looks smashing. You do need to do a bit outside the front to make it more inviting though, perhaps use a couple of the parking bays and stick some benches out? The Garden is lovely yes however this might draw some more people in as the front windows are quite dark and it's difficult to see inside during the day? I went on a hot day after 5pm and there was only about 6 people there. Also reupholster them seats by the windows please 😊better signage needed, tell people about the garden and the food rather than an ugly banner. Wishing you all the best in the future.

It got recently renovated and it looks amazing. Screens all over the place and also a big one with a projector set up. The food is amazing too, it's done by Kata which is a great local Japanese restaurant that also do takeaways.

Clean room with comfortable bed. A small fridge with drinks very impressive and a Breakfast table with choices, it's worth the money.

I didn't stay in the hotel but tried out the drinks and games. Very welcoming atmosphere for Tottenham and very good prices. I recommend to any locals or visitors.
Overall: very decent.

The refurb has totally added a new energy so calm and friendly

The rooms are very nice - more like bed and breakfast style than hotel. The pub area is a good size and staff were excellent.
J. W.
The pub itself could use a serious make over but the owners(not the manager) really don't want to spend any money on it which makes the prices sting a bit.
The locals are welcoming and it's just a nice place for a quiet drink. At the weekend they have djs ect. And a large dance floor. There are also pub games like darts and pool. The bar staff helpful and polite and the range of drinks and food on offer are actually refreshingly wide. The manager malik is friendly and accommodating and has a zero tollerence for trouble makers so you can feel safe spending time here. The pub itself is really charming and the beer garden in the rear is huge so big in fact the regulars sometimes have a little kick around with a ball! Also they are a hotel and the rooms are quite nice and very well kept. The prices are fair but the pub itself really needs brightening up and the hack job repairs that have been done are ugly and to my line unacceptable that's the reason for the 3 stars

Outside it looks basic very basic. But once into our hotel room we were shocked. The room was amazing. Spacious clean and tidy. Everything was too line and well thought out. Talk about never judge a book and all that.
J. W.
A nice pub a bit tired but good atmosphere and friendly staff. But the rooms are nothing like the pub very well keep was very surprised how good the rooms was. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others

Room was clean quiet and comfortable even though it was on a busy street. The neighborhood is somewhat run down and I would not go out at night. There's nothing to do here anyway but the subway is less than two blocks away and the Tube system is incredible in London. The price was right.

Great friendly local pub. Polite bar staff. Great security. They occasionally have quiz nights. Quaint garden out back for enjoying the summer weather. The locals are friendly in there and they have a pool table available. Tvs to watch the football matches. All in all a great pub.
S. P.
The surrounding neighborhood is a little rough, but the rooms at the fountain were nicer than expected. Due to the use of wood and tile in the common areas, the halls are a little loud/echoey. The rooms do not have AC, but they do have windows that open and allow a breeze. The location is convenient to the Seven Sisters Underground station. The Fountain pub is a standard bar serving Japanese food. Watch out for the local pool shark. He can be pushy.

I found the premises easy to find. There is wi-fi available and a USB socket in the room to power phones etc. The rooms are easy to find and towels are available. Our room number 22 was in the roof and subsequently only half of the room could be stood in. The fridge was placed where you had to stoop to access it but there were milk cartons available to have the cereal if you wanted with coffee available. The bed and pillows were clean, memory foam and firm and we gained a reasonable nights sleep. As previously reported by others, the nightclub attached to the pub played loud music till 2am in the morning. On the negative side there was mould in the kettle, the spoons and cups were dirty. The roller blind had no cord to open it again once pulled down. Overall it is cheap, basic and if a little more attention to cleaning by the housekeepers, I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness but this is easily remedied by the housekeeping team.

Thanks staff had brilliant time from Mr chillcott would recommend the hotel

Everyone seemed happy. I dropped in for a drink on a long journey; The bar staff smiled, the drink was nicely presented, and there was no sign of my pet hate - a bar covered in liquid from the overflow/bad pouring of drinks throughout the day.... essentially, someone was clearing up properly and I hope it stays that way; I'm not OCD, but I hate having to grab ten napkins to make sure my drinking experience isn't sloppy, sticky or just wet.
Remain attentive and the customers will slowly stream in. Papers are good in the morning and at lunch if possible, but above all, get ALL the staff to welcome EVERYONE! Smiles, chat, laughs and so on.
But look, the place was was good and I enjoyed my 2 hours of drinking and reading. Good luck, I'll see you again soon!

My friends and I regularly drink here on a Sunday night, and we keep coming pack for the cheap pints, tasty food and friendly staff. There is also karaoke on some occasions, although this is not always a good thing depending on who is singing! Although it can take some time to order from the noodle bar it's worth it, especially for the katsu curry!
The decor isn't the best, although they have been renovating the garden, and it can be noisy when they're playing sports on the big screens, but it's good for a casual drink with friends if you're in the area.

Great pub and hotel spot on also

I would give it six stars if it had been possible. Great location in the heart of Seven Sisters, and just around the corner from my house, great value for money when it comes to both drinks and Japanese food (try the sushi cones and you can cancel that Tokyo trip you've been saving to for years). The Fountain is always showing the sports you want to see, with a bunch of regulars from different backgrounds always there to discuss football and cheer for their teams with the right spirit, knowledge and humour. And I haven't even mentioned the beer garden with the iconic fountain at the back, perfect for warm summer afternoons – or the weekend club nights. If I ever get married, this might be where I'd have the afterparty. Because – and this is perhaps the most import feature – at The Fountain there is always space.

Great japanese food with affordable prices. Almost luxury bathrooms and huge garden with fountain but inside a bit smelly and always sticky tables. Staff could do bit more of a cleaning.
V.
Great place to stay, 5 minutes walk from the station which has great, quick transport links to central London. Close to full-size Tesco and Sainsbury's Local supermarkets as well. Rooms were freshly refurbished, and had a mini fridge inside which was quite welcome! Staff were very friendly.
F. E.
Great beer garden at the back and a pint of beer was only £3.75! No craft beers. Wasn't very busy on a Saturday so presumably a quiet atmosphere for most of the week.
A. B.
Nice Japanese food and also they have an array of pub sports, similar to the ones found on Yorkshire Television's 'The Indoor League'. Cocktails advertised on wall, did not try these. 5/5

The Fountain is a nice enough pub. Very quiet during the day, I go sometimes cos some old friend's go. R.I.P Fred, a lovely man.
A. M. T.
Clean, reasonably priced, basic accommodation in a traditional pub. Good facilities, only drawback is the road outside and generally the location, which is noisy and run down. Otherwise, recommended.
G. L.
Great place mint rooms lovely staff & locals highly recommended PS the Costa picture has nothing to do with it so please put the picture of the pub instead . O also there a nightclub there too
S. A.
Just a nice base for an overnighter in London, clean, modern room with nice soft toilet paper!! It's the little things!! Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
F. S.
I usually go there to use the pub and restaurant part of the the Fountain. The food and drinks are cheap and they show football every weekend. A interesting variety of people males it a great experience.
M. B.
Cheap and decent pub. Suprizingly good Japanese food as well. Really friendly staff and a chilled out atmosphere. They also show most sports.

The hotel looked good and the staff was pretty nice, but the pub underneath, that belongs to the hotel, is in a very bad state
M. C.
Good pub but needs a lick of paint or two. Garden ok in the summer months even though not always tidy.
D. C.
Nice room, Great shower, comfy bed, quiet room, enjoyed our stay would use again.
R. D.

Been coming here, off and on since 1977. Needs investment and a few wrong uns barred. Polish barmaid Veronica the best thing about the place.

(Translated) Located in one of London's red light districts, the hotel is 5 minutes from the tube. The rooms are above a bar, so there is noise. Despite all the employees are very nice and helpful. Also, the rooms are largely adequate, clean and with private bathroom.
