Just wanted to thank you for making our stay for my birthday and wedding anniversary so very special
We stayed Friday in the Dane Nellie Suite which was simply stunning, nothing like the sterile top hotels we have stayed in before , can see the room has been put together with thought , love a mind care.
All you staff are a credit to you, rally comes across that they love and are proud of The Gore. The lady who served us at breakfast was lovely and the team in Bar 190 were great both at lunchtime and in the evening.
A special thank you to the front of house team who welcomed us when we arrived and saw us in our way when we left , made the whole experience very special and one we won’t forget.
Thanks again
And hope to see you again soon

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking interior.
Late 19th century luxury that has been remarkably well preserved until today.
Experienced cocktailwaitors in the bar, and a tasty - albeit limited - food menu.
But who needs food when there's great cocktails?

What a lovely Hotel...especially the bar!! Steeped in history and very attentive staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Best parking is at The Tara Copthorne as unfortunately nothing near the Hotel.Lovely Breakfast too!
G. H.
Room was lovely, beautifully maintained, very clean and tastefully decorated. The whole hotel is stunning and so very well looked after. The staff are super friendly and very, very efficient, The food is sublime (had dinner and also breakfast there and could not fault anything). Will most definitely stay there again and would recommend it too. It's a couple of minutes walk to the Royal Albert Hall so the perfect place to stay if you're going to the Hall. Only slight less than positive comment would be the very limited stocks of tea and coffee in the room and the having to pay for water from the mini bar. But small things in the great scheme.

A hotel that I usually wouldn't book for myself, I'm upset with myself for not doing so sooner.
The room, divine. The food, heavenly. The staff, friendliest I've ever come across. Well worth the cost.
Only downside would be the lack of wheelchair access to most areas, however there is an elevator.
Fine art decorates the entire hotel, all original pieces and mostly well looked after.
All in all, I'm coming back as soon as I can.

Stunning simply stunning
As soon as you walk up the steps from Queens Gate Road you are are made to feel like royalty
So friendly and professional the staff clearly love and are very proud of The Gore which is what makes it so special
The decor is amazing , classic English
Our room the Dame Nellie Suite was mind blowing , like your own little piece of a stately home
Never stayed anywhere quite like it
Pure luxury
But with heart, not like some sterile modern hotels
Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable
Hope one day to be back

Having read some of the reviews before our stay I was hoping for a good hotel. I was wrong this is a very good hotel with a perfect choice of staff to make the experience an absolute joy.
I am sorry for those that have left reviews expecting the world and coming off short, but your reviews and moans explain more about you than the hotel to be honest.
The staff.... Delightful welcoming from all on the front desk. Detailed explanation of where everything was , who does what job etc etc. Showed up to our room and all small details explained. Never did a member of staff offer just enough, we were always asked if there was anything else that could be done to make our stay any better.
The breakfast. Excellent. Great thought going in to explaining origin of food and supplier. Presentation was spot on. You would never go hungry here.
Room - was lovely . Four poster. Yes not the biggest room I've stayed in but comfort and style was ideal.
We booked a two night stay to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays.
The hotel is in a great spot. We walked through the park each day. Offered umbrella each day where there was a sign of rain.
But I had to say to the staff (sorry for not naming) that their welcome and service was the best we have ever had in any hotel we have ever stayed at.
Will we be staying here again - of course!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful hotel very 'Agatha Christie' sadly it was let down by poor service the the dining room. first morning had cooked breakfast, very small for what we were paying and rather over cooked. Second morning we were a little later service rather poor, had to wait a long tome for breakfast, porriage was cold and not cooked properly. Needs better organisation to cope with full dining room.

Lovely.
Great reception staff
Good cocktail bar too.
2 minute walk from RAH
Would stay again.

Wonderful place, did not stay there but have a few drinks in the bar before concert at Royal Albert Hall.

Sadly the room was very small no mirror for the wife to dress up and the bar was closed for private party.totally unacceptable .The staff were amazing and very attentive but the head man was a miserable sod never spoke felt sorry for the staff

Had a wonderful stay here last month, old style glamour in a fantastic location for Hyde Park, Kensington Palace & the Royal Albert Hall

Fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to help us. I travelled with My elderly Mother and they couldn't have been more helpful.

I attended an event at this hotel bar and would highly recommend it. The interior decor is grand and beautiful. We had drinks at the bar and the cocktails were fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive the entire time. We attended the supper club downstairs and had a four course meal. The food was good with the dessert being particularly outstanding! It is definitely a meal I will remember for a long time!

Best hotel room I ever stayed in, probably because I was upgraded and got to stay in the Tudor Suite. Amazing room!
T. N.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Small but quirky, eclectic and generally the details and finish are spot on. Building is lovely, bar would be a go to destination on its own and the restaurant has always had a good reputation, though I have never tried it. Rooms are of traditional style, wood panelling etc but they are kept well and amenities including bathroom are very good. If you're looking for a traditional London hotel, how it should be done, this place would be it.

This stay was our second at The Gore and again we were very satisfied. The location is in easy walking distance of many sights. The rooms are comfortable and just lovely. Again, we were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. So welcoming! The included continental breakfast is well done and the optional hot breakfasts were all delicious.
We were hit or miss on the bar food, room service food and dinner this visit. But to us, that was minor as there are a plethora of great dinner options near by.
We would wholeheartedly recommend The Gore hotel and can't wait for our next trip to London when we will stay with them again.

Andrea was great! Beautiful unique rooms- friendly staff

Lovely hotel and staff. We were upgraded on arrival and our room was lovely. There were a couple minor issues in the room such as loose sockets and a missing screw from the socket by the bed. Other than that it was a wonderful place and we will stay there again.
B. M.
Absolutely love The Gore; it’s always a wonderful experience!
Emailed the hotel ahead of time for a car service and to check in early and they were very helpful and quick to respond! The concierge, named “Mate,” was there to greet us and got the room ready quickly and then personally escorted us.
The bar is always great and the drinks are innovative and tasty!
Restaurant was also great...good food (risotto was incredible!!) and really excellent wine list.
The only issue we had was the WiFi. It was in and out and with us needing to be available to family I’m the states, it was really disappointing.
Other than the WiFi, it was a perfect few days and The Gore was lovely!!

We had a wonderful stay at The Gore Hotel specifically and in London overall! When we arrived we were surprised that the room was pretty small by US standards, but I think that rooms are just smaller and older in Europe due to the age. The Gore is a fun and funky hotel in Kensington, close to good food and attractions and importantly for us, a Underground station that took us anywhere and everywhere each morning (after our FANTASTIC continental breakfast). I don't understand the reviewer above who said breakfasts were not good?!?! We loved it! Thanks for making our trip so pleasant, we were sad to leave beautiful London.
E. B.
First, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The room was beautiful and the bed is comfortable. We were surprised by the handy tool that was included with the room. It was incredibly useful! The breakfast was delicious! Will definitely try to stay here again next time!
D. W.
Attended a promotional launch event here in January 2020; using the downstairs function space and the side bar area.
While the catering wasn’t particularly impressive, the wider quality and décor of the venue was impressive throughout. What really stood out however was the professional and good humoured bar staff service – nothing was too much trouble, and also very knowledgeable about the drinks available and happy to suggest options.
Would recommend, and would certainly call in again if passing through.

I was invited by a friend to have some breakfast over here and also have a look around.
One thing that was noticeable upon entering was that it was a very welcoming place with a lovely Victorian aesthetic.
The food was brilliant! Organically sourced and something for everyone, I personally went for the eggs royale and had some things of the buffet like the yogurts and croissants. The rooms themselves are stunning and very well maintained.
All in all, it was a great experience and I'd certainly recommend it.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Gore, London this October. We found the hotel clean and pleasant, and the staff fantastic. The location, close to Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park, was also conveniently located near tube stations as well as a wealth of dining options, from pubs to very good restaurants. Although we did not dine on site, save for a take away coffee, we did avail ourselves of the bar and really enjoyed speaking with the bartenders. A nice place to stay, full of classic English charm.
C. S.
One of those fabulous London hotels. Great location, just a short walk to Hyde Park or the Royal Albert Hall.
What a great interior...! wood panelled and a beautifully presented and tended bar. Little nooks and VIP areas.
An enormous range of fine Whiskies. I personally enjoyed Brockmans Gin on the rocks.
Steeped in history.. And as you will soon see upon entering the bar where you see the Rolling Stones framed on the wall in a shoot taken in this bar.
My family stay here on trips back to the UK from USA and highly recommend.
E. J.
The staff is impeccable. They were attentive, professional, and cordial. Rooms are quaint, and the continental breakfast was delicious every morning. Bed was nice and firm, and there was a large tub. There was even a turn down service! I would definitely stay there again!
S. N.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after our wedding and before we went on our honeymoon to Thailand. The Gore Hotel did not disappoint - amazing decor, oozing with personality and charm. The place is immaculate and the staff are so pleasant and friendly, everyone we dealt with was very professional and competent. We enjoyed great cocktails in Bar 190 and whilst not the cheapest in London, the ambience of the place really makes the night out both memorable and special. The breakfast and bar menu snacks were great too. We look forward to our next visit to the Gore Hotel.
B. S.
I was taken here for my birthday. It's a nice hotel full of atmosphere. There is a nice bar on the ground floor serving cocktails (a little expensive).
The staff in the hotel were very attentive.
Our room was lovely with a big four post bed. The only downside was the fact the room was very hot with no way to cool is down apart from a tiny window.
M. B.
I didn’t stay here but I did come for a meal in the 190 restaurant and it was great. We had the pre-theatre set menu which was very nice and good value. The restaurant is very well placed for the Royal Albert Hall, about a 5 minute walk.
Restaurant is quite small and intimate so it’s probably worth booking a table. We arrived a bit early, not a problem, we had a drink in the bar.
P. H.
My wife and I stayed for one night as we were attending the Folk awards at the Albert Hall. We had a great stay. Nice bar with good service and good cocktails, we didn't have time to try the bar food or restaurant but if breakfast is anything to go by it would be very good. Great service. The only down sides were a slightly tricky shower in the bathroom and the scaffolding that was outside our bedroom window. Hopefully next time we stay the outside decoration will have been completed and the shower will have been updated.

Lovely suite, we had the Judy Garland Suit which she actually stayed in herself.
P.
Have a look at the rooms before booking. This is not just some travel hotel. The rooms have a certain style which might not be to everyone’s liking. I booked the Judy Garland Suite for a special occasion (short honeymoon getaway). It was perfect! The whole hotel is beautiful and full of character. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was GREAT and I can recommend having a drink at the bar which has a great atmosphere.
There is one single thing which irked me: the faucets in the room are too near the edge of the sink which makes handwashing a challenge. I guess it would not fit the style of the rooms to have modern faucets and wasn’t that big of a deal breaker for me.
So, if your looking for a romantic getaway with that special someone or just want to visit a real beautiful hotel: I highly recommend staying here.

Stunning hotel, looks beautiful and packed full of history. The bar is amazing, the breakfast was delicious. The room was incredible and the bed was really comfortable. Location is perfect for the Albert Hall and also for the museums. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Thoroughly recommend this place.

It's a beautiful hotel, I use it to stop to charge my car, there are charging stations here. If you want to see a giant deckchair outside the reception it's here. Just arrived again to charge car, this place smells gorgeous, yet another beautiful flower display.

Great experience!!
Myself and my wife stayed at THE GORE hotel two days back in September, and as soon we walked in we felt special..! The welcoming atmosphere the friendliness end professionalism of the staff couldn’t go unnoticed. The building decoration and the room where amazing and with such a good taste and spotless! I personally travel lots with my work and it is very difficult find a special place like The Gore!!! Well done management and well done staff!! :-)
Will see you soon

Lovely decor for the hotel and bar.
BUT... Single room lacking in cupboard space. No chest of drawer or other space to place shirts, sock or underwear. Scaffolding outside of window for repainting. Asked for an upgrade (complimentary as a Tablet Plus member), but none available.
Breakfast buffet choice very good. Staff very friendly.
Conclusion: my room was barely acceptable for me alone. However had I come accompanied it would have been an unqualified disaster.
B. A.
The hotel was excellent and the reception staff very helpful.
We were delighted that you found us a room very near the lift (203) as I have difficulty walking.
Breakfast was very unsatisfactory. Poor staff, forgotten items, long delays, people come in and nowhere to sit as tables had not been cleared. Not very satisfactory at all and should be addressed.
Having said this we shall be booking for the similes date next year in the e expectation that these comments will have been addressed,.
C. B.
My wife and I had a beautiful room and a wonderful night’s sleep. In the morning there was no hot water in the rooms of the hotel due to a boiler problem. The staff handled the situation well and kept us informed of the status of the repairs.
A. J.
I absolutely love this hotel. So far, the staff is so nice and service is great. The room is so beautiful to me. And it’s very clean. The rooms are very quiet which I love. I feel like I’m living and have my own room in a Kings castle. Waiting for my dinner service and notice that I. can also fill out a slip for the door and check out all the things I want to me sent to me for breakfast in the morning. Loving it!
J. B.
The Gore is located near the Royal Albert Hall (among other sites in the Kensington area) making getting around by foot very easy. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and the hotel bar and library experience a must do. The room was very relaxing and bed very comfy.
G. B.
The Gore Hotel is a wonderful place to stay when visiting London. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. The reception staff are very welcoming, very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was a joy and met all are needs. The room staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was wonderful and well cleaned with a turn down for our return at the end of the day. I couldn't rate it any higher and look forward to returning soon!

Five star hotel. Everything is real swanky, as you might expect. There's a real historical sense to it all though. The views from the window are beautiful, especially if you're up on the fourth or fifth floor. Good bar, quite comfortable. The only downside, in all honesty, is the shower. I don't know if it's the same in all rooms, but in ours the head only came up too about my nose, which meant I had to duck in order to fit, and I got my head at least three times per shower. I'm only 5'9", so hey, maybe 200 years ago it would have been a great fit but now... Yeah, standard five star, beautiful atmosphere, there's a high rated restaurant and bar, and they even have a library! Those showers though. Oh boy, those showers...
S. H.
I arrived having booked a deluxe room to be offered an upgrade to The Judy Garaland Suite for a nominal extra fee. The young lady at reception had a wonderfully friendly and helpful manner. She showed me the Suite first and I immediately fell in love.
I truly felt like a Queen for the evening. The room is popular and spacious with everything that you may need, robes, toiletries and accessories, including an umbrella!
The bed is the star of the Suite, beautiful and regal with the most comfortable pillows.
I stayed at The Gore as I was attending an event at The Royal Albert Hall. The hotel is a stones throw away perfectly located.
The hotel is peaceful and quiet and at no point was I disturbed by noise from other guests or staff.
Breakfast was another highlight; I chose Eggs Benedict which arrived piping hot and perfectly cooked.
I highly recommend The Gore for it's oppulance, location and dedicated staff.
N. M.
We stayed here for a concert at the Royal Albert Hall which is a couple of hundred metres away. The restaurant was great for a "pre theatre" dinner, and the bar afterwards has a real buzz about it.
The standard room we had was not massive, but excellent, with a really comfortable bed.
F. B.
Perfect service, warm welcome, charming rooms, quiet location.
But, just one real defect in my room 405: the shower is almost unusable because there is no possible setting of the showerhead above the bath.
And a minor point: it is difficult to read in bed because there is no adjustable light for reading.
M. J.
The Gore Hotel was absolutely amazing. It was quaint, clean, and had an incredibly polite and helpful staff. Maté was especially kind and beyond helpful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast buffet which was essentially a “build your own charcuterie board.” Smoked salmon, americanos, and great service. We will definitely be staying at the Gore again next time we are in London.
C. M.
I don't know it is so highly rated. If it is much cheaper I rate higher but the rooms in general are so tiny and dated despite its gorgeous photos we see on its website. It is located in nice area of full embassies. But a bit of walk to stations. Staff are friendly but not really professional I myself will never stay here nor recommend my friends. Disappointed.
S. a. S.
Loved my stay at the Gore! Hotel is nicely preserved, very unique and staff provided us with high class service. Their tea is exceptional make sure to try it. Room was nice and cozy. Location is awesome!💯👌🏼
A. S.
Well preserved Hotel from the 18 hundred. Classic decor. The rooms are clean, bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is very clean and well equipped. Rooms are provided with a handy phone that was useless as I couldn’t use it as a hotspot so I had to buy a UK SIM card for my stay. The hotel is romantic, great for weekenders.
Location is close to Albert Memorial. However, it’s fifteen minute walk from cafes, restaurants, supermarket etc.
Rooms need to be provided with more water. Also we had very weak signal for WiFi.
Thank you The Gore staff.
J. F.
From my arrival to departure I was afforded nothing but excellent service from a very friendly and courteous staff both from reception and at the bar. I only spent one evening attending a local concert and would have no hesitation of using the the hotel again and recommending to friends.
G. F.
My Daughter and I had afternoon tea yesterday. We were disappointed with our visit. The setting was lovely. The young lady who served us was very pleasant but she brought our tea over and didn't say which tea was which. We had different teas. It was a tea bag not loose leaf. The jam was in individual jars not home made and the scones where so crisp it was like eating digestive biscuits. Yesterdays bake reheated? As we left the hotel we asked the duty concierge about Daniel Galmiche. He didn't know who he was and if he actually worked at the hotel. Really! He didn't know that a chef of Daniel's calibre was at the hotel! He offered to check the staff rota to see if he worked there. I feel he needs more training. We will be back for dinner as we love Daniel but, not for afternoon tea.
K. L.
This is a lovely hotel next to Kensington gardens with easy access to public transit and many parts of the city. The staff is pleasant and the hotel it self is very old school London elegant. The only problem o found coming at a warmer time of year is pack of climate controls in the room. The experience in total made up for it but this may be a deal breaker for some.
T. O.
Very cosy and individually styled rooms. Nice penhaglion bath-products (Which Penhaglion refuse to sell, having a separate range of products for hotels only!). The continental breakfast is really good but after a few days, you long for some variation (It's s exactly the same every morning, even the way the buffet is laid out). The concierge is very helpful in making recommendations. The staff at the front desk has a nice sense of humor.
L. G.
Absolutely superb, the staff could not possibly do more to make your stay memorable. Fabulous room, extremely comfortable, sadly only stayed for one night, look forward to returning very soon for a longer visit.
Thank you to all the staff.

I love this hotel. The staff was truly attentive to everything we needed and asked for. Bar was great. Wonderful location. The Royal Albert hall is around the corner. Old Victorian charm. Thumbs up👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Five stars hotel all the way!!
We can completely now understand why people keep coming back here. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like we were their only customer. Check in was swift and the room looks amazing.
Best for visiting Royal Albert Hall, Museums, Hydepark and Kensington. I love the Victorian atmosphere and the hospitality.
The Bar 190 is an institution of itself. A must visit before and after an event in the Royal Albert Hall.
Well done to the Stars Hotels management!!!!!

We stumbled upon The Gore when needing a convenient location to the Albert Hall. Glad we did. It’s an amazing place. Authentic, stylish and endearingly a little banged at the edges (in a very good way). Greeted by Trevor, the welcoming guy on the door, and shown to our great room (the Nellie), loved it. The location is excellent too, not just for the RAH, but you’re only a 25 minute walk from Piccadilly, and Hyde park is slap-bang in front of you. We normally stay around the Strand, so this was a nice change. Will absolutely book again. Great price too at around half the price of our normal expected room cost. The one drawback, and this is meant to be constructive, please take it as such: Breakfast wasn’t great at all. Service was slow, had to ask for butter, condiments, toast, glasses... and the food wasn’t amazing to say the least. Really bad anaemic watery scrambled eggs (what sort of eggs were they, powdered, packet...? How can eggs go so wrong), then pancakes but with no maple syrup, but no one told us you had run out - so the cook mixed some sort of vegetable oil with a savoury molasses thing, we had to send it back - and got the terrible eggs... wife’s omelette was really pale and bland too (same strange eggs). Thought breakfast would reflect the highly billed restaurant offering, as it’s the same room. We were intending to have pre show dinner there, but after such a poor breakfast we opted out. That’s got to damage your booking referral rate surely(?) Such a shame, breakfast is one of the things that makes a hotel. But everything else was fantastic. Looking forward to another stay.

The Gore hotel is a small boutique hotel in a perfect location just steps from Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens, close to South Kensington tube and a few minutes walk to Knightsbridge. The service is professional and very attentive. All the staff were excellent. The reception rooms of dining room, lounge and bar have beautiful wood panelling and very high quality soft furnishings which through good use of colour lifts the rooms. The bar at the Gore is particularly enjoyable. Our room was small however it is what we expected in regards to then pricepoint we selected. The room was very clean and well appointed particularly the linen and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. The only qualm we had was that the room lacked a chest of drawers as I usually like to completely unpack in a hotel. I was very sad to leave and would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying their again when we next travel to London.

The Gore are a beautiful and charming Victorian hotel that used to be hotel/lodging quarter from the very beginning. It was well maintained and comfortable. Bed comfort is very important to me and Starhotels have not yet dissapoint me. The amenities were excellent, Penhaligon’s product- Blenheim Bouquets. Slight issue during check in due to last minutes booked (1.5 hrs prior arrival). There were flies inside the original room. The concierge were very swift and move me to another room. The concierge also were knowledgable of the area, appreciate all the helps.
One suggestion, is to put the history of the hotel in a better catalogue/book instead of combine it with the room information book.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.
Cheers- Diana

Quaint little botique hotel that offers old school British charm. Front desk was super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We had the Rock 'n' Roll Afternoon Afternoon tea which was a great twist on the afternoon tea experience, especially if you are in the 45+ age bracket.

Found the staff to be extremely friendly and efficient.
A pleasant change from modernity - the hotel has real character and charm.
Would have no hesitation staying there again and recommending to others.

Very nice hotel, location is terrific. Staff is attentive and try hard. Only thing that kept it from being a 5 was the AC went out so they moved us to a new room and then then AC went out again in there after 3 days.

We were thrilled with our stay at The Gore. A beautifully restored building, lovely room and bathroom, excellent location and wonderful service. Very near the park, several museums, the underground. Many shops, cafes and restaurants just a short and pretty walk away in every direction.

The Gore hotel is a jewel of London. A hundred years of history, which hasn't lost any of it's charm, even though it has everything required for the twenty-first century visitor.
From the outside, a impressive, and beautifully, grand white stoned building, and on entering, you are met with a warm, friendly greeting from the receptionist and shown to our suite by the concierge.
I had booked the Queen Elizebeth suite as part of my partners birthday celebrations, and the look of delight when she saw the room was a joy to behold. The suite was magnificent, it felt as is we had entered a time capsule, with a magnificent half canopy bed with crisp white linen, catching the eye as we entered the high ceilined room, which had been decorated to capture the essence and opulence of when it first opened it's doors to the public. Then entering into the en-suite and you step into the modern world.
On the bedside table is a short, but concise history of the Hotel and makes for an interesting and must read. It's not shy about name dropping a few of the good and great who have graced their walls, including Sir Henry Wood, which was apt, as we were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall that evening, which is only a few minutes walk from The Gore.
On our return we went into the hotel bar, Bar 190, for a couple of nightcaps, not wanting the evening to end. We were sat in tall backed chairs and discussing what it was like in the mid sixties when the Rolling Stones had one of their infamous after concert parties here.
Unfortuntanly,we didn't dine at The Gore, as we had already made arrangements to catch up with friends for the evening, and lunch the following day.
Before booking out, we did go into the hotels library with it's chairs around an open fire, ready to warm your feet, while reading newspapers or one of the many books on offer on the shelves. Another oasis in this charming and delightful hotel.
We only stayed the one night, but our stay at The Gore has left a lasting memory, for all the good reasons, and wouldn't hesitate to return, hopefully for a little longer and to taste their culinary delights.
Wouldn't hesitate to reccommend The Gore hotel to our friends and relivtives, and to anybody that's visiting London.
Thank you one and all at the The Gore for making our stay so enjoyable.
j. R.
Wonderful place, very stylish without being aluf, friendly staff, dreamy rooms, steep prices.
But it's definitely worth it.
Only a few steps from Hyde Park, and Prince Albert memorial.
Very quiet street to relax.
M. M.
The staff as a whole were refreshing. The front desk, bar and house keeping. All professional, kind and informative. I have to give a particular shout out to Trevor and Thomas. Above and beyond. Thomas really went the extra mile in giving us guidance! Keep up the great job Gore Hotel!
S. B.
Bar 190 was the perfect venue for my cocktail party. Manager David was so organised and Pietro is the best mixologist in London! Canapes delicious and great music and atmosphere for 17 lively guests on a Monday afternoon! Thanks to everyone @ The Gore.

A wonderful hotel with incredible decor, a wonderful bar and a great location. The deluxe suite was beautiful and the G&Ts were wonderful.. If not a little pricey (I'm from the North)....

I loved staying here. Staff were attentive and courteous; the room was gorgeous. The location is brilliant. Well worth travelling halfway around the world for and I will be back!

Very close to Royal Albert Hall and the Kensington Gardens. Great staff. Beautiful decor in rooms. Penhaligons toiletries. Sparkling clean. Free, good wifi. Bar 190 intimate and charming. An absolute gem all around!
M. V.
The Gore in Kensington has the best location close to Kensington Palace, Restaurants and boutiques. The bedrooms are elegantly comfortable with great sheets and toiletries. Breakfast is one of the best and the library makes you feel cozy. Love the wooden bar and selection of whiskeys!
G. G.
This was a tiny, tiny, tiny little room but that's ok. The room was clean, the bed was perfect, the A/C froze us out, the shower was awesome, and the staff was friendly. Great stay.
S. G.
I love the bar 190. The staff are always attentive with a smile on their face no matter the atmosphere.
Drinks menu always refreshing and the food is just wow.
K. J.
My short trip to London was wonderful and a big part is due to The Gore hotel. The front staff were personable and friendly. The room was magical. I would recommend to everyone I know going to London.

I have been here a few times and always find this bar interesting. Really great cocktails but limited seating and a strange caliber of guests.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Kensington, and around the corner from Royal Albert Hall. Check-in was efficient, the room was well appointed and fabulously clean, with Penhaligon's toiletries. Check-out was equally efficient and warm. This place is old-school British luxury. Creaky floors, heavy drapes, large windows and a real key. I have to also give credit to the night-manager Michael for his kindness and graciousness.

(Translated) Hotel that I would recommend to my best friends. The entire staff, starting from Francesca, is of a courtesy, kindness and availability that one would always want to find in stays abroad. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean.
Bar 190 and the restaurant are of great value, both inside the hotel: I have experienced both in a splendid "apericena" and in an excellent dinner.
Surely on my next journey from London I will return to Gore.
