Lovely beds, service and bar area.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Note: bar man night service excellent.
Note: morning breakfast staff incredible attention to detail.
I think a bath tub in a larger room would make it 5 stars!

Really enjoyed our six night stay at the Gyle..
Everything was perfect , start to finish.
Staff were amazing, they went out of their way, to make our stay really special, provided us with extra hangers, Ironing board Robes etc.
.Breakfast was delicious, very fresh.
Our room was very clean and well presented, very quirky,
Bed comfy, slept well.
The designer who designed this B and B, Did a fantastic job.
location was fantastic.
What more do I need to Say..

Staff are wonderful but it's a bit style over substance. Our room was tiny and on the top floor (stairs only), odd little bathroom set up and sink in bedroom area. Very limited breakfast options.

Amazing location, quirky interiors, super comfy beds, few niggles, found a used ear plug under my bed, no robes in the room no fizzy water in the room even after ordering, however these issues were resolved upon check out and the staff couldn’t have handled it better!!!! this will be the only hotel I’d stay in, when visiting that london the interiors ate so awesome, the lady on reception was exceptional and the location was so awesome for seeing london/Camden literally 2 streets away from the tube station, this place is incredible I stayed in a double room (22) which had the added benefit of a cute little balcony I love everything about this place absolutely awesome!!!

Lovely hotel a stone's throw from Kings Cross St Pancras. Room is incredibly well appointed, I was apprehensive at first as the room was ground floor next to the front door, but only heard one or two people leaving. In winter would be nice if the rooms had carpet or some rugs for trips to the loo/shower to make it a little warmer underfoot on the hard floor. Which is the other minor issue is I did hear the person in the room above walking around in probably heals and being a bit tippy tappy first thing in the morning (again carpet or rugs would help with this). TV was controlled by a tablet which was fine but the tablet froze on me and couldn't turn it off and couldn't locate a physical remote in the bedroom or lounge. The bed was gorgeous not sure I have ever had such a great mattress to sleep on! Having been out the night before I was hoping for a full English to start the day with but is instead a continental style but was a good quality and range available. No tea and coffee facilities in the room which is a little annoying if you enjoy jumping in the shower with a cup of coffee immediately before or after but is available in the bar. Lovely touch with the still and sparkling in the room being in reusable glass bottles along with the soap and shower gel being in pump bottles rather than tiny single use ones. Overall wouldn't hesitate to stay again and will be recommending to friends.

We stayed two nights and were blown away by the amazing decor, facilities, comfortable room and such lovely welcoming staff. Debbie in particular was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for us. The location is so handy for central London to get around. I highly recommend this little hidden treasure in central London.

The Gyle has comfortable beds, great and powerful showers and stunning stylish interior with a lovely ambience. My friends and I had a deliciously good time in the care of the fantastic Olly, I will come back as soon as life brings me here. Don’t forget to swing in the lounge.

great little hotel, in a great location for Kings Cross.
Having loved in london for 11 years, staying here is a bit like living there - ie, you can hear people in the rooms above, especially when moving furniture etc and also outside. this wasnt an issue for me but might be for other people.
Shower and hot water are great, as was the heating.
Staff is friendly and helpful, and great that they have unlimited coffee and tea downstairs. however, there is no coffee machine in the room, which is very important to me - i need my hot drink in the morning, and walking down 2 flights of stairs for it was a bit of a drag. but if that doesnt matter to you then i can highly recommend the rooms.
i would def stay here again, as the location is perfect for me (work trip) but may give their sister property a try, just to see (not because i was dissatisfied).

The Gyle is like a sweet with a surprising taste and I mean that in every positive way possible. Newly renovated with a cool take on the interior and our room was very nice and welcoming. The staff made us feel at home right away and gave us tips to the area. Thanx for a lovely stay and we hope to visit you again some time.

Stayed for 3 nights, lovely wee hotel. Decor was fantastic, had a homely feel. Great location near kings cross for getting around London. They leave you to it which is great. Will be back.

Fun and comfortable place to stay. An old townhouse turn boutique hotel so best of charm and style with convenience and reliability.
The staff work hard, the rooms are clean. Good shower and beds etc.

Beautiful hotel, attention to detail is amazing. Super comfortable bed, powerful shower. Quiet street. Awesome, beautifully designed small/medium sized hotel and amazing staff, especially Ollie - he deserves a massive pay rise.

FANTASTIC!
Booked this hotel for a late birthday surprise for my partner and also to attend an event.. the interior design is homely and the art isnt just for aesthetics, we didnt want to leave.Olly,Alisha and Anush our hosts for the four days we stayed made sure are first stay was the best with amazing selection of whiskeys and a free bottle of prosecco for our room which was amazing and a great self service for coffee and tea down in the lounge. We stayed in the tiny king room and it was ideal for us both, the rain shower was set just right. we are definitely coming back to try out the other rooms. All the staff were incredible especially during halloween highly recommend chilling in the swing chair in the lounge
I have no complaints I would give it 10 stars Just because my partner had a great first time in London.
Thank you guys ever so much see you at Christmas.
With love

Outstanding staff, nice quiet street, very comfortable beds, absolutely spotless, and a very nice little bar - breakfast area with an outstanding Scotch selection. The smoked salmon was superb.

A beautiful hotel, with some lovely quirks and the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. A great location and close to tube to get around London!

Very stylish hotel with a super comfy bed and an amazing bathtub + shower! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff was just amazing. They did really know how to make you feel that you escaped from the hustle of London, despite being in one of the best connected spots in London. Great whisky collection with the Glennfiddich 30 year old being affordable enough to have two. Excellent and simple breakfast with freshly baked bread. Room was spacious and super clean, great design and technology that even we could understand . Great touch with the tablet that got us hooked on their story. We booked the staycation package on their website which was excellent value for money.

Great hotel, quirky decor, good service from the team. Comfy bed. I'll be back soon I hope.

Amazing hotel. Friendly staff, great rooms and brilliant location.

We stayed here for six nights and were very happy with our stay. The best parts about the hotel were the decor, how clean it was, very comfortable beds, and close proximity to King’s Cross Station. The rooms were spacious, and the vaulted bathroom was a cool upgrade. The bad? Well, the vaulted bathroom definitely doesn’t have enough ventilation, sometimes leaving the room smelling like moisture. There was a window to open, but with the 40 degree Fahrenheit rainy weather outside, it wasn’t a great option. Another not so great thing to note, their app that’s used as a key stated check out was at 12pm, but at 11am they were knocking at our door asking us to leave. They were nice about it, but it is a discrepancy that should be addressed. The breakfast is a nice quick bite, we didn’t have it every morning. We would still gladly stay here again. Really cool place for a reasonable price considering what it had to offer.

Absolutely nice place to stay, choice of breakfast is too limited for my liking.

Some of the friendliest staff I have ever come across. Clean, cozy, really lovely bar.

The Gyle. So much more than your standard hotel, it feels like Alice in Wonderland has grown up as you walk through the halls with grass growing on the ceiling and Salamanders guiding you to the safety of the nearest fire exits.
There is an astonishing whisky collection, gin too but I'm a whisky man!
The bed has been the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in whilst away from home and the room was decorated beautifully.
The staff, whilst hard to tell who works there and who is a guest, are friendly and attentive to your every need.

I had an amazing two night stay at The Gyle. The room was perfect, I loved the story that came with the decoration, creating a unique atmosphere. The staff was incredible, kind and attentive. Can only recommend!

A very nice hotel, really helpful staff and we will be returning

This was my first stay but good lord I intend to come back. What a fantastic hotel and what fantastic staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone I encountered who worked there went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
Facilities and furnishings are all top notch, it looks and feels like a genuinely bespoke boutique hotel yet it has an incredibly warm almost homely feel to it. Not something you find too often. Even though the kitchen had closed, Aona (I hope I’m spelling her name right) made me a lovely meal when I got back around midnight and then made me a latte to takeaway with me when I was rushing for my train this morning.
I can’t recommend the Gyle highly enough. It’s an absolute gem!

Great hotel. Super clean and friendly staff.

Fantastic location, understated, classy, great vibe, phenomenal staff. We arrived two days after opening, so everything was fresh and new. There was a little construction going on but we expected that as they got settled into welcoming guests. Each day we came back, there was something new to see.
Breakfast was great. The wine selection is limited but exceptional in the evening. Loved the intimate vibe in the lounge with it's cool black/kelly green design. Rooms have detail in every corner. USB plug ins at the bedside, fantastic rain shower, soft bedding, hardwood/tile floors, great lighting.
Thank you, Melu. You and your staff are set for a great future. We loved it and hope to be back soon.

Fantastic little boutique hotel. Provided a much needed rested and relaxed break whilst visiting London. Located 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross and 10 minutes from Euston station, the location is all you could ask for. Made it very easy to catch the train to Watford Junction which is why we were in London. The staff and service here at great. The attention to detail with the room furnishings including a tablet to contact the front desk really makes it shine. Would happily recommend to anyone for a luxury stay in London.

The hotel is very well designed and has lovely staff/decor but a major flaw is the soundproofing in the rooms (18 in this case). Was awoken early in the morning by hearing other doors banging and people talking outside the room. This tarnished an otherwise pleasant stay.

This is a lovely place to stay. It just opened (November 2019).
It is more of a friendly guest house with great privacy than a hotel.
There are modern rooms that are immaculately decorated. My room was nicely outlined with a plush set up. The smart TV allows you to screen share your mobile (Netflix) screen.
The quiet restaurant/breakfast room/lounge is a a great area to work with convenient charging stations. Internet of course all over the house. Free flow of tea or coffee there 24-7. A huge selection of different whiskeys add to the ambience and tempt the most ardent tea totaler like myself.
The Gyle is located on a lovely square and is really quiet despite the closeness to large roads.
It is 2 minute walking distance from Kings Cross providing instant access to the tube lines also. A decent amount of restaurants are in the area if you don't want to call in a delivery. There are some small food options at the hotel, too.
