Been here few times for breakfast and drinks. Absolutely beautiful place with a retro / decor interior design. They have a band performing live music at certain time if you’re lucky. Lively atmosphere at night, elegant and quiet in the morning. My favourite thing about this place is that I always feel welcomed - no matter if you’re ready to spend some fortune or just getting a coffee.

Epic food and entertainment hall with live music and pro dancers. Beautiful decor and great service. Shout out to Domenico the concierge for being super helpful. Your great service and professionalism gave the hotel a positive face we will remember it for. Our new favourite hotel in London. Highly recommended!

Literally one of the nicest places in London. Incredibly relaxing atmosphere with musicians playing on a round podium. The ceiling is about two floors tall, it's very grand. The lighting is low and soothing which alot of establishments don't pay attention to. A fantastic selection of drinks. Every inch of this place oozes class. Will definitely be back.

This is a great place, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We ate in the parlour, limited menu options, but to me this is a good thing. My Parsnip soup starter was great, the NYC strip was superb. Great jazz set played in the background. I enjoyed it here, certainly recommend!

The live music and decor is amazing and I really used to enjoy going to this hotel. However, since covid restrictions have been lifted it has become a massive stuck up and snobby place! People that work there look down on you and I will not be going here again for an after work drink or meal. Real shame as it used to be so good!

The Ned (the bar part, not the hotel) is more than a bar. The architecture is stunning, it’s a huge ex-bank from the 20s I believe. A great open space with several bars dispersed and a central stage for live jazz. I’ve been a few times to the private members Vault downstairs, which I don’t think is worth it personally, it’s cramped and not that impressive. It’s really the upstairs with the general public which is grandiose! It’s a super fancy place to bring non-Londoners if you want to impress!

The Ned is always a great place to visit. Nice selection of restaurants.
I had the pleasure of visiting the members bar on the 9th floor this time and although it was a nice experience, I wasn't wowed, but can definitely see the benefits for client entertainment.

Unmatched experience in this world. The conversion of bank to a 5-star hotel is magnificent. A popular place with upmarket food, drinks and live music in the tall ceilinged foyer. Staying guests and members can retreat to less busy areas that offers dining, swimming grooming or dancing the bank vault nightclub

The Ned was stylish and special from the minute you stepped into foyer . The attention to detail, the service especially from our waiter nelson who made us feel welcome and was so attentive fulfilled my expectations. The rooms were comfortable with all the essentials and more for an overnight stay . The evening was filled with jazz music and dancing and the atmosphere was electric, I feel very fortunate to have had a wonderful experience.

Great to finally stay here. Always come for drinks and food but staying was definitely worth it.
Having access to a whole other part of The Ned was great to experience.
Spa was really nice, and rooms were a really good size. 100% would stay again.
M. B.
Really great hotel! Wonderful location and extremely attentive service. The restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. The room gave us some problems as the key cards stopped working 3 times in a 2 night stay and we were not able to open the windows.
Nevertheless a nice hotel in a remarkable historical building.

Oh my. I want to stay here for ever. Great atmosphere on the ground floor. Stayed in a "Cosy" which was full of nice touches and cowshed products. I've never see so much stuff in a hotel bathroom before. The spa is missing a jacuzzi but the steam room and sauna were both great. We deffo want to come back. I love the original bank vault features in the spa reception and restaurant toilet block.
J. B.
Hugely impressive building and venue. Great ambience. Enjoyed the live music.
Was more comfortable once we could enjoy a lovely seating area

Dined at Kaia with friends whom are members of The Ned. Decent service and food. Toured some of the member spaces, all of which were well designed. The atmospheric dim lighting works well at night but can be a little gloomy during daylight hours.

The Ned is a beautiful place to stay. However, what makes the Ned special are the employees. I have stayed at the Ned many, many times over the years and I have yet to encounter an employee that isn't topshelf/world class. Everyone is professional, kind, respectful and they will go way beyond expectations to make your stay feel special. Really is my favorite hotel in the world it is such a beautiful and refined space that said, 100% of the reason that I comeback is because of the staff.

A collection of different restaurants and bars. You can visit even if you ard not a member. This building was previously the head office of the Midland Bank and you can see the original safe in the basement. It is very busy so best to book in advance.
A. P.
Lovely rooms with all the usual Soho group home comforts. Lots of choice for food, all delicious. Fantastic spa with really good pool for swimming lengths. Will be back!
P. A.
Enjoyed a coffee with family on a ship off in London. Very reasonable on Prince, had we more time we would have eaten here as live music started. The seating area is fairly vast, has typical London feeling yet relaxed- shame we ran shy of time!
D. M.
The Ned is simply a beautiful renovation of what was the old midland bank head office that was left derelict for 8 years.
The refurbishment utilising much of the original design is breathtaking.
The main trading floor of the hotel consists of a number of eatery’s.
My husband and I ate at Lutyens and had an amazing steak lunch, the menu was simple and appealed to both Fish and Steak palettes.
The service was impeccable, we felt we had been transported to another era - simply lovely and memorable.
f. l.
Very good service, nice welcoming even without booking at the restaurant, live jazz. Everything was perfect, the waiter gave us nice advices regarding drinks.
C. B.
What a fantastic hotel!!! We stayed two nights last weekend for a birthday celebration and some sightseeing in what I think is called a “crash room” a fairly small but very well appointed room, tv, fridge etc, all the things you’d expect in a 5 star room, very comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom with a lovely shower. The building itself is incredible, you enter via the old banking hall which has many different bars and restaurants, it’s beautiful. Downstairs is the old vault door leading to another bar, it’s a delight. Top notch food and drinks, live music gently playing and the best service I’ve had in a hotel in the UK.
A. I.
An amazing grand bar with live music at certain times of the day. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and found a table immediately. Lovely atmosphere and great drinks 🍸
K. W.
Been here many times before for food but be warned it is now members only (to eat). Memberships sounds wonderful but unfortunately it was the atmosphere and food that I came for only. Thanks for the memories, argh the bitter sweet lol
D. D.
Absolutely outstanding.
I cannot praise every aspect of this fabulous Hotel enough, we will return again and again. The rooms were amazing, such attention to detail, such generous items to use. The Art Deco finishes were truly stunning. 100/100
A.
Iconic building, incredible atmosphere. The Iallian food was very good quality, expansive wine list with reasonable cost options. Would return in a heartbeat

Went here for lunchtime cocktails. Cocktails were nice, but the place was practically empty and quite soulless.
It's a beautiful venue....an old bank with loads of the original features still in tact including The Vault downstairs.
Worth a visit for the fantastic decor but needs a lot more bums on seats there.
R. D.
Amazing hotel, beautiful ambience. Breakfast was delicious. Live bands throughout the day, playing both fun, dancing songs to mellow acoustic songs. Stunning. Cowshed products for both hair, bath, body and hands, absolutely everything you might possibly need for an elegant and cosy hotel stay. Staff were courteous, attentive and very welcoming. Well done to the Ned. We will definitely stay again.
C. F.
Great hotel amazing service. Bit cheeky on service charges, seem to be on everything including room rate?? but i guess that's a 5 star hotel in London.
A. S.
If you stop by for a drink know that the non-members area bar on the first floor will likely be crowded with a seat being hard to come by. If you’re lucky and do get a seat, bar service is quick and friendly! We stuck to Prosecco, and enjoyed the live music which played late into the (Saturday) evening.
S. T.
We visited the hotel last night - it was a Christmas treat - I was very disappointed - not a Christmas decoration or tree in sight! It could have been any time of the year. Not the place if you are looking for a festive spirted stay in London 🎄
Just got this response from the hotel…How helpful not! ….. I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t get to enjoy our Christmas decoration.
In our main reception area we had a 18 foot Christmas tree and around the Nickel Stage we had a beautiful decorated wealth above the main stage. We also added a hint of Christmas decoration around the restaurant area and the spa reception area on -1 floor.
Great to tell me what I could have had! It was only three days after Christmas Day!

This place has to be one of my favorites when visiting or staying in London. The atmosphere is great and all the staff are friendly and helpful. A few times we have been to 'Lutyens Grill' restaurant and its been lovely the management and staff are brilliant we really could not fault anything. What a great team of staff!
G. A.
March 2022- very good live music playing from the old info booth but cN be a little loud when trying to have a conversation. The meal at the Italian restaurant was really good. Fully recommend the steak, veal saltimbocca or tye dover sole. All the wines are excellent.
Make sure to visit the cloakroom amd toilets in the basement to see the entrance to the vault, which is now a members only area so you can't go in.
Transport - Cannon Street station is a 5 minute walk away and Bank tube station is right next door. The bus from London Bridge drops you right by the rear entrance so use public trabsport
V. D.
The place to be on a Thursday or Friday night! Great drinks, wonderful atmosphere, live band, great setting. Highly recommend
G. M.
Great for dining, drinks and a simple coffee. Lots of options all hours of the day. The old Midland Safe is worth a quick look in the basement for nostalgia.
W. W.
We visited The Parlour @ The Ned for my birthday yesterday and I must say it was a brilliant experience. It’s a very intimate venue, dimly lit with great decor. The service was ok, by no means perfect but seemed to improve throughout the night. We were seated right by the band who played most of the night with a short break here and there. The singers were very good and the burlesque show was entertaining. The food was incredible. I had scallops followed by the NY strip steak which is up there with the best I’ve had anywhere in world. My partner had the Wild Seabass which was equally as good. I was also given a complimentary dessert for my birthday which was a nice touch.
S. B.
Absolutely lovely hotel, room was fantastic a lovely comfortable bed well stocked mini bar etc and fabulous choice of shower gels and hair products. We had the Ned's Sunday Feast which was acceptable, but certainly would not have a diet coke again £11 for a 200ml bottle is a total rip off. But overall we had a lovely time.
S. S.
Band was good, ambient lighting was too dark. Kaia table wasn't ready, so we had to find a bar, but they only want to give you table service. Wandering into a members area or crossing the white line to look at the safe door brought a bark from the staff, bordering on rude. Place reminded me of Grand Central Station, people just walking through all the time. Doubt I'd return.
s. a.
Decent enough service but does just seem like upmarket fast express food place. We sat and ate for a few hours, looked like they needed a few extra team members on. Decent food, presentation and wine was very good that we ordered.
I. M.
I first thought this place was a bit spivvy, but it has some very nicely done rooms and decent food and drink. Worth a visit.
A. S.
The food was great. The rooms were just OK. Typical English hotel with little character to the rooms. They have a selection of 4 restaurants you can eat from...one was an American corner, British , sushi, coffee place and continental. They have a live music band that plays and by evening the ambiance is spectacular. But the staff here are great and I've alway received first class service. They go out of their way to assist.
R. A.
If you want cool vibes this is the place! Amazing performers, food and drinks! You can get lost in the nooks and crannies. A gorgeous venue 😍
D. R.
Very impressive, especially the vault bar! Comes alive as the city finishes work for the day. Was served an excellent steak in the grill and the setting and location cannot be beaten.
T. K.
Lover this place, great food and atmosphere. Dine here then head for the bar to enjoy thr live music.
A. J.
This place is amazing, the decor is really something - a grand banking hall from a bygone era. There are, I think, 6 restaurants in this very big space. Very vibey with a live band as well. Really enjoyed the American Electric Bar & Diner. Food was very good and all the staff very helpful. Spoiled a little by being overcharged for a drink and the crazy process to get a refund. There needs to be someone on duty who can resolve this immediately (Should have checked the bill before paying)
A. H.
The romantic ambiance, live music, food and their hospitable service made our Saturday evening so much memorable!
P. S.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Everything from the staff to the rooms. The choice of restaurants to the gym and pool.
Will absolutely be returning.
P. B.
Lovely area of London during the week. The Ned has always a classy atmosphere. The Electric Bar and Diner has great service and good food overall. Will definitely want to go back there for brunch. I've meat one of the loveliest Bulgarian waitress in London there, so attentive :)
W. F.
Didn't actually stay here but I worked in the building when it was midland and HSBC banks London hq moved all the bank to the new tower we stored it was empty for a few years but we still had stored equipment in the building Rather spooky building when it was empty especially around the 6th floor was also several reports of a old lady in the old vault rooms 👀
S. H.
Couldn’t fault the Sunday Feast. The food was excellent as were the staff. A special mention for Bianca who made us feel very welcome and did a brilliant job in looking after us!
J. D.
Ambience, drinks, service (if you can get ones attention) is good. Food if you make dinner reservations is amazing. So why a low rating? Covid-19! Everyone dancing/socializing and shouting at each other's face (to try and speak over background noise). The place currently is a cesspool for Covid.
P. S. &. L. L.
We have been in many venues through the years. Without a doubt the most friendly and helpful event staff we have had the pleasure to work alongside. Thank You once again on behalf of everyone from the tech team of Prestige Sound & Light
M. R.
Beautiful venue with an assortment of eateries under one roof. Fab Xmas decor with live Jazz playing. Definitely worth a visit.
K. A.
Great selection of food. Quite casual, great place to have a bite to eat and drink.
K. P.
I took my wife to The Ned for the weekend as part of her 40th birthday celebrations and was completely blown away.
The room we stayed in was amazing; a comfy super king-size bed, well stocked coffee/tea and mini-bar and every conceivable toiletry you could ask for.
The food was simply amazing…. we had lunch in Malibu Kitchen (the fish tacos were so good) and Dinner on the roof with spectacular views of St. Paul’s (the halloumi croquettes we’re unreal!!).
The atmosphere was great, with live music being played throughout the day, which complimented the decor and ‘feel’ of the place. We even got to see Heather Small (M People) perform on Saturday…. What a voice!!
The staff were all extremely friendly and polite without making you feel uncomfortable. This is a 5 star hotel but without the pretentiousness.
Overall, we could not have asked for any more… we lived like VIP’s for a weekend before returning to our plain, ordinary lives. 😂
J. R.
Property was lovely, several wonderful bar and restaurant options available, spa was tranquil and the staff are extremely pleasant.
T. A.
Excellent service. Good facilities inc spa and pool. Recommended for a business trip with meetings in the city
A. V.
Sunday buffet lunch even better than a Toby Carvery, topped only by the rooftop swim
A. K.
Beautiful building in an easily accessible location. Full of old world character.
Attended a business lunch here and the food was delicious and unusual. Will return here.
R. K.
Very expensive. Fancy. They don't let you stay near a table if you're not a hotel guest, so you have to pay lota of money for a pricey drink and then stand while drinking it and getting scold by the doorman that you're carrying your bag instead of leaving it downstairs.
R. A.
Very Cozy ambience and live music is simply amazing l.. must try for a good dinner
D. M.
A lovely starting point for an evening out. Great to have the live music as a background. The vault downstairs was certainly very interesting!
O. M.
One of the most beautiful places I've been too, i celebrated my birthday here in September and it was so grand and worth every penny. I will definitely be going back.
J. B.
Very cool venue for a restaurant and bar. It is a little noisey when a band is playing making it hard to conduct a conversation.
J. O.
Malibu Kitchen at the Ned was pretty amazing. Creative salads and grass fed beef. Good quality healthy food. Definitely a good choice for a light lunch.
C. G.
We only met here for breakfast and it was very nice although they did get a few things wrong. For example we ordered challah toast and got sourdough. We sent it back asking for challah and instead got normal white bread, the sort you would expect in a 'caff' not an expensive City restaurant.
A. N.
We were at the electric bar. It is a nice place. Not too bad.
Not my scene to be honest. Too busy and too cramped. However it is a great place for a drink after work.
A. O.
What an amazing lunch, me and my partner enjoyed the Feast at the Ned. It was £75 each for unlimited food which included lobster, oysters, roast dinner and loads of deserts.
The atmosphere in the Ned is really relaxed, with brilliant live music playing throughout the meal. The waiting staff are very attentive, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
We had loads of food but my absolute favourites were the chicory salad, sausage rolls, deviled eggs, oysters, lobster, roast chicken and pigs in blankets. And the apple crumble desert reminded me of school dinners in a really delicious and nostalgic way.
Amazing place and really worth the money.
S. P.
This place is amazing and worth the price. I didn't stay there but visited the place during official duty.
The environment is Lively and entertaining. The ambience is amazing.
A. C.
Had a fantastic night. And to top it off my partner said yes!!!
Special thanks to Bianca who helped and looked after us in Millies Lounge all evening.
c.
Stayed on a staycation deal. Nice hotel with luxury feel. The rooms were very nice with lots of amenities like Cowshed shampoo and interiors. The bathroom didn't have a bath, which was a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. We ate at 3 restaurants - Electric Diner, Kaia and the Feast. We sent food back at Kaia and the other two restaurants were okay and very expensive - overall we had an okay experience in this element. As part of the package we had cocktails made at our room which was a nice touch.
The spa area felt really relaxing and luxurious, a really nice space. It was a shame that there was a booking system which did not allow us to use the facilities on each day of our trip. We arrived on Saturday and were told 3 weeks in advance that it was fully booked. Then the only time available on Monday was 6am. When we arrived it was completely empty, and no staff checking the arrival slot you are meant to have. Felt a bit over the top and meant we couldn't fully enjoy this area as we would have wanted.
Overall this was a nice hotel but not perfect, hence 4 stars.
T.
Almost only place in the solar system where you can't talk on the phone (but you can with people) and can can't take pictures of your own food even. An Instagram catastrophe and a socialite question but otherwise great.
H. R.
Stunning Hotel! The Bar is a beautiful art deco style and in a great location!
G. C.
This place is great, food is resonably priced and you can have a drunk in the main bar after with Great music.
P. M.
Well what can I say if you're looking for a fab evening then this is definitely a place worth visiting
Stay over in the hotel followed by cocktails and a meal in one of the restaurants enjoy the live music and the great atmosphere a Stones throw from everywhere in London and the rooms are really nice
E.
Amazing place. Good vibes. Definitely a must visit whether your out with friends or even a family dinner.
A. S.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Great rooms, very nice service, wonderful amenities and access to different restaurants. Must visit.
A. I.
Second visit to the Ned. Superb as always. Food and drink is amazing as is the surroundings and ambience.
D. V.
The live music 🎶 was superb and service from the staff was top drawer stuff, friendly and attentive. They even poured some water when my friend had clearly had one too many without asking which I am sure helped his head in the morning.
Lost a 🌟 as prices are a bit punchy and the clientele are becoming increasingly more pretentious. It felt as if their main motivation was to get a half decent instagram post than actually enjoy the surrounds of this great venue...
M. W.
The best hotel we have ever stayed in! The whole experience was incredible, particularly the gym and spa. The atmosphere in the lobby is unbeatable, no matter what time of the day. Shout out to Josh who went over and above to make our stay special!
B. B.
Private members (Sohohouse Group) Gathering stop for the city crowd, host of different eateries, bars, gym/spa, hotel inside... great live music on some nights
G. B.
I like the Ned. I’m a member so obviously I like it enough to join and keep up a membership.
There are great perks and the location is great for the City. It’s hard to review the club since it has so many facets to it, from entertainment, to ambiance, to service- but my general feeling is that it’s really nice.
The only thing I would change is that they usually have the volume uncomfortably loud for the music (the gym, the restaurants, the member areas, all of the club has the music way to loud), and then the dining service can be really inconsistent, and sometimes not to the standard I expect.
C. S.
Great view from a balcony, fantastic place to eat and drink
A. G.
Fabulous venue. I didn't see the prices, but expect it to be high end - the setting certainly warrants it. Would happily return.
K. N.
Awesome place for live music, drinks and good times! Recommend for entertaining clients and business dinners.
S. B.
Wish there was one of these North, West and South - such a fab place to go to after work. The cocktails are amazing as is the decor!
L. W.
Good service . Lovely polite staff , stunning architecture and decor . Great central location very convenient for public transport.
P. J.
Amazing service, ambiance and venue. Had dinner in the Malibu Kitchen (one of six) with great vegetarian and vegan options. We were well looked after by Marta!
D. H.
Grand old building full of character, last night was my first time stint hanging with the night crowd, all in all a good experience.
S. F.
Great hotel, excellent service, amazing rooms, pool and outstanding showers. Slightly misleading promotions where you get credit but only one restaurant is open for dinner on a Monday... Would be 5 out of 5 with a little more transparency
R. O.
Always good to go back to the place I once worked when it was Midland Bank
Has changed bit all for the better with great live experience
P. T.
Simply superb. Every single need is catered and accommodated for. Fantastic experience
G. S.
Listened to Nate Simpson ! And he made venue absolutely electric amazing any time he's back I'll have to be there. 👏👏👏👏👏❤
Highly recommended.
W. R.
Loved the room but left disappointed by the poor service. Tried phoning through to the front desk four times at 9.30am with no answer. Tried a couple of the bars downstairs for a takeaway coffee at 11am but was told they were shut. Had to ask three members of staff where I could get a coffee from before one could direct me to Electric Bar. Was then charged £4 for the smallest takeaway black americano I have ever come across.
L. W.
Comfortable bed, amazing collection of amenities, lots of restaurants to choose from!
J. R.
Really enjoyed my time at The Ned. It is a classy place without being pretentious although it could probably get that way on certain nights. Lovely jazz style music being played live and attentive staff, will be on my itinerary every time I come to London if I'm looking to impress.
d. m.
Service par excellent. We had a quaint evening with family and friends celebrating our loved one's 60th birthday milestone in the Prince's Dome. The ambience, the vibrant music, the scrumptious food, the cocktail mixologist who kept the cocktails flowing. The polite staff who catered for our every need and made us feel at home. Definitely will be coming back soon, as I made my way up to the Prince's Dome the hive of activity on the ground floor and the band playing was so captivating. Definitely the spot for a night on the town.💯
K. C.
Fantastic!!!
Everything you could hope for
Staff and Service was excellent.
In Beautiful Surroundings.
C. H.
Perhaps a lovely hotel but nowhere to pick up or set down guests other than 100 yds around the corner in Old Jewry due to no vehicles except black cabs in Cornhill !
v. t.
The Ned is a brilliant experience. A very unique one in London. The restaurants are nice but my favourite is Kaya(the japaneese). Try the black cod! the live music is awesome and there are always people dancing with glass of wine. Fantastic environment!
M. N.
Had a great time. Dinner and drinks were superb.
The environment is really calm with live music.
The staff were friendly.
I. N.
Great atmosphere & food - lovely for a special occasion or a fancy date night
T. B.
Well worth a visit. Lovely setting, wonderful building.
M. T.
The rooftop has an amazing exclusive feeling, the vault also had something very unique to it (only critique that music here was a bit too loud to my taste)
L. M.
Wow! I was apprehensive by the limited menu but the food was superb.
Went for lunch on a bank holiday Monday so there wasn’t the usual buzz you’d find but great staff and relaxed experience.
T. D.
Lovely place with the live band. Different areas to seat depending on your mood.
L. A.
Nice vibes, the jazz music is lovely. Sometimes a bit too boring though I’m not sure why.
H. J.
Absolutely love this place! The bar manager is such a great bloke and his love of wine and his job is absolutely infectious.
Will definitely be visiting again soon for a nice bottle of red.
A. L.
This is an amazing restaurant and bar! We had the buffet which was so so good, this is a lovely treat that myself and partner now book every couple of months. The choice of food is great and would highly recommend to anyone.
S. E.
Visited the Kaia Asian restaurant and the food was fantastic - we almost cried over a duck spring roll (in a good way!) The staff were attentive and helpful and helped us have a perfect evening. Couldn't have asked for more.
p.
Well! How much time gave you got?
The food at wedding reception was very good and staff very attentive.
I had the option to stay here and am very glad I didnt, but if you are a believer in style over substance regarding price go for it. Otherwise do yourself a favour and consider cheaper less hectic, noisey and pretentious hotels near by.
J. F.
Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Service is excellent and there is always a lovely atmosphere. 11 bars to choose from so always something different. An amazing original interior.
C. b. B.
We were there on a Sunday night only for a meeting and the swing band was fabulous with everyone dancing 😁
J. K.
Love love love perfect place went with my daughter &grandchildren for champagne for my birthday (oh we took the men with us😅)
M. R.
Worth it, great food excellent service!
S. S.
Always a great evening!
A beautiful building with amazing LIVE music on a monday and a great selection of restaurants and bars throughout. I love the steak and seafood at Millies Lounge and staff are always friendly and respectful.
Rooms are decadent and cosy and overall a very plush ambience. I am looking forward to visiting again in 2021 :)
R. K.
Nothing beats it, especially the vault area downstairs. Great DJ and an amazing atmosphere!
S. P.
Wow great place entertainment brilliant, food good atmosphere buzzing what a place
N. 5.
Stayed for aniversary, greeted with exceptional service, kindly upgraded my room for the special occasion,
Great service all around, especially from Omar
A. B.
Amazing place , has everything you might need for a good night out ...
E. D.
Great place for drinks and food at the bar and food in the members club roof.
S. d. A.
Always love coming here. Never had a bad time. Grand Hotel with lots of restaurants and if you're lucky enough a superb members club
t. e.
Incredible place, a choice of restaurants and bars. Accommodation is superb.
R. B.
An incredible welcoming hotel with lovely rooms, facilities and of course staff. Would highly recommend and will happily return. The Feast on Sundays is superb. A must....
M. W.
If you haven't been to the Ned or if you're a visitor to London then give this a try. The midland banking hall restored to its former glory delivers true largesse in a way you can't find in many other venues (London or otherwise). Five separate restaurants in the entrance hall, a fully stocked bar and live music every night of the week. It's certainly pricey but you've varley spent a better penny. The hotel is also one of the best in London, $$ upfront obvs.
H. K.
Nice place, busy but nice.
M. H.
Busy and great atmosphere with a jazz band in the centre of the old banking hall - we had the Japanese at Kaia, food was great.
R. S.
Loved it! Great dinner & music
D. C.
good live music that you just get up and dance to.
M. L.
If you are in the city, you must visit the Ned. Awesome establishment. Unique interior, fabulous layout of bars and restaurants. High end choice. Wickedly smart service.
Downstairs the Bank vault is a private bar. This would definitely be the hotel of choice if flying into London for business. Soak up a cosmopolitan but very British experience in the heart of the city. A beautiful place attracting beautiful people.
An afternoon tea experience is probably a worth while event, to do something high end and fun without the booze! The main area has a central bandstand, usually someone talented is tinkling the ivories.. but nothing to outlandish!
If you have to queue it’s worth the wait. Access from either block is a top tip, totally different experience entering the building and enjoying a stroll through galley style restaurant design or walking straight into a jaw dropping converted grand banking hall with quadrant horseshoe bars.
Top draw! The best London has to offer.
J. s. (. S. P.
The Ned is an exquisite wedding and was a real pleasure to photograph. With so many beautiful and classy features I really couldn't go wrong and look forward to coming back.
N. D.
A stunning hotel. I went to a party in The Princes Dome on the 8th floor. Amazing venue & the staff were so professional & friendly. Thank you.
m. g.
The perfect place to be.
Has everything you need for a special visit.
A. G.
The NED is always great, super Jazz band on, sat in the Electric Bar - great atmosphere
J. T.
If you want to drink where the james bond goldfinger vault scenes we're shot this is the place for you. Beer selection is however poor and surprised vodka martini not on the drinks menu but lovely place and good vibe
R. S.
Wow. I don't know how to put this into words. This might be the most incredible venue I have ever been to. Stunning in every conceivable way.
M. N.
Live music, amazing food, fantastic service !!
A. A.
Went for a dinner with friends, spent the night at the hotel and had breakfast before leaving.
The hotel is very elegant, although not my architectural style.
The service was very good. The food was good, although too pricey for the money/quality.
The dinner area is too loud, you can barely hear the ones around you on the table.
Swimming pools downstairs and at roof are really nice. The views from from the rooftop are outstanding.
A. S.
Knocked this down to 3 star, Sunday feast covid style was a massive disappointment. Smallest table for 6 I've ever eaten at. Two hours with table service is not long enough, might be ok if you was helping yourself as original feast was.
S. S. F.
Amazing hotel. Had unbelievable time there 🤩🤩
D. B.
The service was excellent. I think the photo speaks for itself. Fresh lobster and plenty of it. The roast selection was really good as well. Definitely come on an empty stomach. As a plus, there is always good live music playing and the architecture of this place always amazes me.
M. R.
So impressed with it here!
Can't wait to go back.
Food delicious. Had the hot platter.
Staff were all so friendly and cheerful.
P. O.
The setting is stunning. Spectacular building with an interesting history. Excellent food - the Feast on Sunday is delicious and fairly good value too. Charging for coffee seems a bit mean and the lack of cream for desserts is just odd. Encountered one rude member of staff and saw a manager arguing with another. That just shouldn't happen in a place like this. Great live music. However, I did love it and will be back!

It was my first time inside the Ned although I used to walk past it for years. We had lunch at Millie's Lounge and whilst I was expecting it to be really noisy, we had a corner seat and we were able to speak comfortably. I had the salmon which was cooked just perfectly, it was really enjoyable. The decor is impressive with tall ceilings and art deco lights. Well worth a visit.
C. E.
The Ned is the most beautiful hotel. Everything is done to a high standard. The food here is great, and we have eaten at most of the restaurants. The spa treatment I had yesterday 'cowshed signature facial' was one of the best spa treatments I've ever had.
K. H.
Stayed here 4 nights. The room was lovely and very quiet. The location is amazingly convenient. The regular rooms are quite small, but nicely appointed. The desk and concierge were excellent and quite eager and helpful with a room upgrade. The best experience was the private, fine dining in the Club. 5 star. Other food service was okay and fine. I found I preferred to go outside the hotel for meals. The lobby/restaurants are quite the scene and the noise can be deafening. Two of five meals had friendly servers. The other three were just surly—seriously.
K. E.
Thought the rooms would have been slightly more luxurious. Especially for the prices charged The room we had was rather dark and depressing .The hot water was tepid at 6pm and again at 8am. Not good enough for a five star.
Sunday night feast was amazing. So much food, so much choice.
The swing band along with the dancing was brilliant.
The staff were an absolute pleasure, nothing was too much trouble.
Personally I think it's really good fun for a Sunday evening.
Would I stay there again? No.
Too expensive for what it was . Have had a lot more luxury for a lot less money in London
S. R.
Me and my mum dined at Kaia on Saturday and had an amazing time!
We were really lucky and called in the morning, luckily they had a booking for two available.
Immediately impressed by the provisions they have put in place for social distancing yet still keeping it 'normal' we were then greeted with an amazing menu and a really friendly Italian waitress. Having driven from outside of London and stayed to see family this was a much needed, girly evening filled with AMAZING food (Aubergine & Salmon) and plenty of cocktails at the bar afterwards. We then struck luck again and had the best seats in the house right in front of the fantastic band that were playing. Oh I can't tell you how amazed we were and how sad that we had never managed to visit after speaking about it for so long.
I cannot wait to go back again and hopefully one day stay. It's like going back in time in the best way possible. Thank you to all of the hospitality team that work so hard to create evenings such as ours. x
A. H.
Went for the buffet Sunday lunch and wow what an amazing spread of food - there's even desserts and a cheese board.
Procecco on arrival is also a lovely touch to the experience.
The live music was perfect and the staff are do polite and helpful.
You honestly get your money's worth coming here. Will definitely be visiting again!
C. F.
I had always been excited to get in there as every time I would leave work I'd see a queue, so my friend and I one evening made ourselves pretty and went for a drink. The interior is beautiful. That's as far as it goes. If you haven't booked a table for the restaurant, there isn't much way to sit down to enjoy a drink unless you prey over departing guests around the bar. It's the type of place you have expectations for, you go and it's like " oh, yeah, right, done that, let's go". We went to our cocktail spot after that, got a great seat and far better and friendly service.
M. B.
An amazing place to enjoy a drink and quality food in an opulent setting.
I. Q.
Lovely boutique hotel in the old Barclays building. Bit quirky but in a nice way. Public bars and eateries can get very busy, but sky terrace and the vault bar are great.
L. D.
Great place for a drink before or after dinner, in a gorgeous art deco building. Haven't had food here but would give it a go . Very grand decor including the toilets 👍🏽
S. J.
Excellent Sunday roast. Great choice of quality food including lobster and a swing band thrown in. You can even dance if you want. Really lovely art deco setting in what was a bank back in its day. Excellent service too.
M. R.
Didn't stay but attended an event. Really lovely venue - the lobby is spectacular!
M. H.
Went there for a Sunday roast.
I get that £55 per head is quite expensive for some including us also, however, this place and restaurant is second to none.
Do get yourselves down there. We received great service from a lovely waitress from 'Sardinia'. I forget her name 😳. Pretty as well, unlike me to forget the nice looking ones.
Do go as you will not be disappointed
K. K.
Beautiful location! We ate at Kaia and truly enjoyed! The fried chicken was very, very good.
a. a.
Absolutely amazing. The live music was the icing on the cake. A place everyone must experience, in my opinion.
K. M.
We had an amazing stay, somewhat affected by social distancing having had to pre arrange and pre book everything, and the early closure of the bars which unfortunately wasn't communicated to us at check in. However any issues we had were immediately sorted out by the amazing team with a special mention to Veronica at the desk, Axel the concierge and Timmy who served us at Millie's Lounge. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and the food is wonderful too.
B. C.
Excellent space with 9 restaurants and bars. There is a stage in the centre where there's always great music. On weekends they do a killer brunch. There is also a members club, which gives you acces to the vault (converted vault of the bank, now a bar) and the rooftop terrace with a pool. Members also have access to excellent gym and spa facilities.
D. T.
Great selection of restaurants for lunch
H. E.
Stunning hotel - unique, impressive interior, and rooms and facilities charmingly restored with period features. The main banking lobby is lovely for a drink. Comfortable room and attentive staff.
M. A.
Amazing stay-cation. We loved our overnight and dinner at The Ned. Heather at the reception was amazing, super helpful and friendly which is rare to find in London! We loved our room and The Ned has the most incredible amenities ever. I have stayed in many 5* but they surpassed all the others in the bathroom. I was amazed at how quiet the bedroom was however we could hear conversations when in the bathroom. We had dinner at Kaia, every single dish was perfect and the service was excellent.
M. G.
Could have been so great, the venue is amazing and the food good, but the service was only mediocre- @12.5%!?- very rushed, no attention to detail, had to ask to have our wine refilled despite paying over £50 for the bottle... maybe post Covid things will improve... nearly £200 for two, lets hope so!
Y. V.
Awesome Awesome Awesome. Go there for brunch, cocktails or epic Sunday buffet. Amazing vibes, live jazz band, cool people. Did I mention a former bank with amazing features and great interior design -well another Soho House miracle.
R. C.
Amazing food & great atmosphere
A. T. C.
One of the best and fancy hotel in London
G. G.
A former bank turned to a cool discopub.
M. S.
Good service little bit expensive but I recommend ! Friendly staff!
R.
Lovely venue no atmosphere
D. S.
Beautiful restoration of an historic building next to Bank. Eaten in two of the nine restaurants so far and both were excellent experiences. Visited the main bar too and again excellent.
Live music some nights adds to the lovely atmosphere. All of the staff are extremely polite, helpful and friendly too. Highly recommended.
S.
Big and overwhelming size interior, very grand service was ok,could be better
E. C.
Ugh. I hate the Ned, absolutely hate it. It's the one place where no matter how hard I try, no matter what effort I make I still never quite feel cool enough to be there.
It's just too cool in there. Live jazz singers, multiple restaurants in a huge high vaulted ceiling, the rooftop bar ... you just feel with absolute certainty everyone in there is cooler than you.
The rooms are gorgeous, the restaurants suave as ever. To be honest the food wasn't mind blowing.
The Italian place was really nice, the English place nice but bit overpriced and the Asian place did a damn good poke bowl.
The rooftop terrace serves a rather sensational salmon.
Overall. It's 5 stars, but I hate it for being too cool for mere mortals.
A. G.
Ground floor bar was wonderful, high qualify service and great drinks. We came in just as a band started playing and managed to grab a seat. It's not hard to imagine this place was the formerly the bank of England, spacious and breathtaking architectural detail.
M. M.
The wonderful Ned houses this incredible large opulent bar and dining room in what feels like something from the 1930s Great Gatsby style.
The dining room and bar are enormous and impressive. With a very well run and stocked bar.
Reservations highly recommended in advance. They have lovely booths in the restaurant. The food is good and well prepared
I. L.
Best meet up spot in the EC2 that provides a holistic experience- 4 different restaurants in one building. Upscale bar with a very vibrant live music streaming in the air. You'd want to be there every Friday to unwind. Love it.
G. S.
Great place to spend lunchtime or for dinner, can get very busy so be prepared for a wait or book the restaurants beforehand.
S. C.
When it's not too crowded this place is super cool. The lobby / restaurants are amazing and it's an incredible hotel dining and bar scene. The membership to the club downstairs that come with the room is awesome to show off to your friends. However, I was there during a party and I can't even begin to explain how awful it was. The party in the lobby went until 2 am and shook the whole building. I can't believe they let the party go full bore all night without telling the guests ahead of time. Really an unprofessional hotel and I will not be staying here again - but I will probably go back to the restaurants.
P. B.
Great hotel bar and variety of restaurants. Live music is sophisticated and really makes the atmosphere.
P. M.
Pretty busy again, but they managed to seat us after some consultation.
J. K.
Went to a two day work conference here so can't comment for those just popping in for lunch but if it's grand opulence you're after this place has it in spades. The place is huge, marble pillars with ornate detailing around all the rooms and very posh dosh at our shin dig. I glimpsed at the menu on the ground floor and it's very expensive but the food looked equally nice so likely justifies the cost. Not a bad place to hold a work conference but one observation a friend of mine made was that it looks like the type of place politicians would go to discuss who live or dies, very gentlemen club feel about it.
A. D.
What a wonderful venue! All the majesty of the old banking hall has been retained and the varied places to eat have been thoughtfully built in keeping with the architecture.
We had brunch at Zobler's and the food was excellent, if not the cheapest. The waiters were friendly and engaged, although a little bit absent at times. Especially when there were about 20% of the tables occupied when we arrived.
Would definitely return though, as there are items on the menu I HAVE to try.
B. N.
Great atmosphere and cocktails.
Draught beer selection a bit light.
Great service but very expensive.
t. t.
The Ned is our go-to place to stay when in town. Amazingly balances elegance with a modern style that makes for somewhere you can take anyone - meet friends for a drink, romantic weekend away or meet a client.
T. F.
Lovely place... If a little loud... But lovely
D.
Great place to have a few drinks. Very spacious and lovely atmosphere. Couldn't believe how busy it was on my visit. They even had a band playing with a singer which I very much enjoyed listening to
C. G.
Absolutely brilliant!
No question, this is a must see when in London. The queue may throw you off, but don't let it deter you from this one of kind gem.
The decor and ambience alone are worth the visit. A band is playing in the centre and there are multiple restaurants and bars scattered around with a selection of different types of cuisine.
I can't quite explain the interior with words that convey its enormity. It must be at least 3 or 4 floors high to the ceiling with beautiful columns of green marble throughout. The scale is breathtaking and you feel as if you're about to soar. Truly remarkable, especially if you're an admirer of architecture, then this is must-see.
The food is fantastic and the service impeccable. It seems as though every single person here is enjoying life and leaves their problems outside.
Book in advance if possible.
I will be back for sure!

Review of their Sunday Feast:
If you like shellfish you have to come here. Prawns, oysters, lobster... and good quality too. They have a selection of different salads, charcuterie, cheeses and a homemade sausage roll(?)
The other half of their feast is a Sunday roast. The greens, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puds and meat are all done beautifully - their potatoes are not good at all. The gravy will please some but not others as it’s very thin but flavoursome.
The dessert bar had crumble, custard tart, sweet shop sweets, cookies etc.
There is a band that plays while you eat and as ever the service is really attentive. When you arrive you get a glass of champagne and all of the food is tasty. I wouldn’t say this is a place to bring vegetarians/vegans unless they want to pay £60 for some very nice salads (maybe they do?) I was disappointed there were no interesting options for them as it limits who I would invite in the future.
I would definitely go back! Well worth it.

Awesome cocktails, amazing atmosphere

We choose to stay at the Ned for a weekend and booked for one of the Heritage rooms. The room is spacious. The moment we entered the room we felt like in a different era. The attention to detail and the amenities were second to none. The bedroom has a huge king size bed and a seating area, large ceilings a smart TV with chromecast. The (mini)bar was stocked like a full bar. Our bathroom had a freestanding bathtub and we had a separate toilet. The team at the Ned really puts an effort into their work. Natalie and her team have been very helpful throughout the booking process. We made use of the Spa and the gym, both very well equipped. Room Service was efficient and tasty. We ordered breakfast in bed and it arrived within 10 minutes. Dinner and service at Kaia was outstanding and the Sunday Feast sumptuous.
Thank you to all the team at the Ned for making our stay so memorable.
B. T.
Ned's feast:
Food & Drink: 8/10
Service: 8/10
Decor & atmosphere: 10/10
Service speed: 8/10
Cost: 5/10
The best: Beautiful setting with a great buffet spread! All you can eat lobster and oysters. Service is very prompt.
The worst: Roast meat is nothing special and dessert selection could be bigger.
Lowdown: The seafood isn't the best (oysters have shell pieces and aren't plump and juicy; the lobster is a bit over done). But you won't get unlimited lobster anywhere else!
H. F.
Have been in for coffee a few times. Ground floor is very open with lots of different areas to sit and eat either a full meal or just a snack. The whole area is well decorated and there are lots of staff around, however is is sometimes difficult to work out how to order/what areas you can sit in.
J. R.
Beautiful bar area. It's massive with an elevated stagger in the middle for a little jazz band. Great service, though it all comes at a price. This is no discount cocktail bar. You get what you pay for though. Has a really nice atmosphere.

Stunning hotel. Great jazz band. Great vibes. Great for a fun but more laid back night with the friends. Cocktails were delicious. The service could be a tad bit friendlier but that definitely didn't change the fact we had an awesome time here.
A. B.
Epic place with a lot to offer. Went here for a Friday lunch and I absolutely loved the cocktails, wine and the attention to detail allover the place. Live music made it magical.
Must mention that I did expected a little bit more from the food, however it's also worth mentioning that we had the Christmas menu which might not be the best representation of the standard menu and quality of it. Definitely worth a trip or few to explore the whole range of what this place has to offer.
I cannot wait to go back in the summer.
D. T.
Fabulous place for an afternoon tea! We were celebrating a milestone event and chose The Ned for afternoon tea in Millie's Lounge. Brilliant, amicable service with laughs along the way. Yes, this is an exclusive venue, but it's not at all over the top, selective or arrogant, the very opposite. Lovely vibe, great live music and delicious food and booze. I'll be back...again!
K. M.
It was a Friday night and this place had a really good atmosphere. We ate at Kaia in the Ned and the food was really good (a little pricy), we sat on the high tables closer to the music and I would choose this again as it’s different from your standard restaurant layout, we then moved on to one of the bars closer to the live music and eventually managed to get a seat. Overall a great experience and I would definitely visit again and maybe try out one of the other restaurants.
D. M.
One of the best experiences in London. Bar on the first floor with atmosphere breathing 70s. Service is friendly and top quality. Delicious cocktails. Will recommend you, find a day when they play live music, this will make your day, Surely prices there are quite high, although experience is worth it.
D. T.
Review for the Ned's Feast Sunday Brunch - great atmosphere in the grand Midland Bank building, with live music. The food, especially seafood, was fresh and tasty. The Sunday roasts also tasty, with the roast pork and crackle being the best. Dessert selection was minimal, which was a little disappointing, but luckily we were all pretty full already to be too concerned.
More details in my blog if you Google - ABC Dad UK.
S. C.
Great bar, don't recommend sitting in the corners, but any of the tables around the stage are amazing. The wines are incredible and the atmosphere is great.
G. H.
stunning place with great roof top bar. The vault door is a must see. The staff were very attentive. unfortunately they over booked the tables for Sunday lunch which meant we had to wait an hour for our booking. we got 20% off but it was a simple schoolboy error that spoil our enjoyment and made me wonder about it's value.
A. A. B.
We had a very nice breakfast, a mix of eggs (boiled and poached), fruits, pancakes and of course coffee. The coffee beans they use are to roasted for my taste, giving the espresso a burnt taste. This is the only downside of the place. The view is amazing and swimming in their swimming place it's such a treat. Visiting the Ned was a lot of fun!
P. G.
I came here as part of my work Christmas Party, we had cocktails and dinner in a function room upstairs in the Hotel.
The service and food was immaculate. We were never left wanting for food or drink and the whole service was very professional.
The rooms themselves were very old school wood-panelled rooms and were very tastefully decorated.
After the party ended we went down into amazing entrance hall to one of the many bars, service was quick and professional, would definitely come back here.
t. s.
Oh my god it was amazing the poshest place I have ever stayed.the restaurants and bars and the decor and music and the rooms wow
M. H.
Good fun place to go but far too crowded in the non-members area. The concept for some reason does not work. Either make it club only or public. Breakfast downstairs was not good at all, perhaps other reataurants are better. Great olives in the vault. Not sure whether its worth all the cost.
S. M.
The best hotel I have ever stayed at! Great ambience. You feel like you're stepping into a lobby that is something right out of the Great Gatsby. Wonderful service and staff. Very lively entertainment every night. Fantastic amenities, including spa, pool, 8 restaurants. The history and how the Ned came to be are very fascinating. Such a great, great place! Can't wait to come back.
E. E.
Very fancy. And very busy. The service is wonderful. But when I say its busy I mean it- we could barely get served or find a place to sit.
I cant recall the name of the wine we got but it was the best red wine I've had in a while.
A. O.
Stunning old building that serves very high quality food and drinks.
Expensive but what do you expect?
S. D. A. S.
The Ned hotel is very nice hotel and the staff are very helpful
J. P.
Love this place! Has lots of different cuisines and styles of restaurants, for different occasions, from American, traditional British to Japanese oriental, and also has a bar if you're just going for a drink. The building itself is a converted bank so the architecture is very sophisticated.
S.
Kaia sushi bar. Great place for a lunch meeting. Service was friendly. Had the poke bowl and swapped the rice for a base of green salad. Delicious and good portion size. And they serve a proper green juice, that is actually made of green veg and not just apple juice with a bit of veg thrown on top like a lot of "healthy" places. Location is also perfect, next to Bank station. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
P. L.
the club - always my best place to go
J. D. L. S.
I can highly recommend it. The lobster and oyster are delicious.
Also the roast pork and beef are the best in the UK.
In addition to that, delicious cake.
Lastly, I did not like the services charge because it is buffet.
P. M.
A beautiful place for a bite to eat, a nice cocktail or to host your party! I love DJing and playing sax here. The hotel is supposed to be wonderful too, but be prepared to bring your credit card - this is not a place for the penny pincher!
S. B.
The service is excellent, the decor opulent, and the bar manager is magnificent!
D. Y.
Came here for the Sunday all you can eat roast. Was not disappointed! Great quality food, especially the seafood. It does come with tea/coffee, which we didn't get to have until 5 minutes left of our 2 hour window. Only wish is that it was 3!
T. O.
You do feel like one of the chosen many here. Had coffee with friends and it's always excellent. Waitress tried to move us out of our seats because they were wet which we had not noticed but she wanted the table in 15 minutes as it was booked which made no sense. Apart from that very good as usual.
B. K.
Very nice, food is very good.
T.
I really like the ambience at night. Fantastic views as you sip your drinks. The only gripe I have is the earlier than expected closing time 11:30pm. Great for drinks after work.
M. M.
Only came for lunch at the Malibu Kitchen. The building is impressive, the ambience upscale but accessible. Since it is brand new, it was very busy but staff coped well. Food was very nice. You can go downstairs and catch a glimpse of the old safe room, complete with the old safe door and the walls lined with safe deposit boxes. Definitely worth checking out.
M. P.
Impressive - one of the bars is in the old bank vault with original huge vault doors.
It's not surprising this refurbished venue went vastly over budget. It's atmospheric, stylish and the food is superb. I could hardly believe how busy it was at lunchtime. Well worth a visit, it's an experience in itself.
A.
What an amazing place! Friendly staff and excellent food
D. c. B.
Food was great, staff were very plesent and the live music was fantastic, my only gripe is to beware of when your being offered water, its added to the bill and at £5 a bottle, it would have been nice to be informed about the cost attached for accepting some water being offered whilst having your meal.
H. J.
The perfect place to hang out with friends.
There are several bars in the ground floor, so you can try drinks in different bars. Also, the band live music is nice to dancing
T. B.
Amazing night brilliant atmosphere 👌 👏 🙌 😀
D. K.
Excellent hotel in the center of the financial district of London. I had a very pleasant stay. My room was clean and everything, really everything was there...from hairdryer and bluetooth radio to 9 different shampoos and shower gels and a huge selection of food in the mini bar. I tried four of the eight available restaurants in the hotel and every single one of them served excellent and delicious food.
N. c.
So lovely and Christmassy. Great singers
A. M.
This hotel is stunning. Great location and within walking distance to many attractions. The hotel itself is truly incredible and I am so thankful we chose to spend our time in London at The Ned! From Live music every night to cozy drinks in the vault, hands down one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and they provide full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash for guests. With 9 restaurants, you can't go wrong!
A. P.
Great stay and good vibes inside. Liked the spa and swimming. The gym I felt a little rushed for my slot but was okay. Great place to stay in London and I will be back 😀
S. F.
We went there for Sunday Feast "Brunch" and It was amazing. If you love sea food you will love this buffet style brunch, they have so many choices and also sunday roast with all the trimmings. They also have a dessert and cheese table which had a good selection of sweets and fruit. They have love music playing while you dine which makes it a great experience all in all.
t. m.
Glamourous and interesting spot, great for meeting up with people for a coffee, drink or quick bite.
Large spacious ground floor to a hotel with many different and varied places to eat and drink. Great decor internally, perfect for less formal business meetings and city lunches. Nice coffee too.
J. I.
Excellent hotel. Quality throughout. Extremely friendly and attentive staff in all areas. Very busy with locals and guests alike, giving it a real buzz. Vast open bar areas, plus other tremendous facilities when staying as a guest. Well recommended.
E. S.
My favourite hotel in London! Staff is amazing and made my stay really special. Will come back again!
J. E.
The Soho House experience on a big scale. Finally somewhere a little stylish amongst the city pubs and wine bars of the square mile. The atmosphere on the whole is less boorish. Set in the old Midland Bank, you have multiple bars and restaurants in the large open plan space. Great Old Fashioneds & G&T's made with all the attention and detail you could hope for. If you're a member there is a basement club downstairs (the vault) and seemingly lots of other exclusive areas which I haven't seen like the rooftop (with pool).
If Soho House membership is your thing, it seems to offer a lot of benefits. And if you're just passing and not a member you can get a lot from the main venue.
s. d.
One of the gems of London. A slightly well kept secret from the masses. Great hotel rooms, wide choice of culinary options and the wine menu offers a moderate variety. Being a member has its benefits, so highly recommend for those posted here 💯
S. A.
What can I say about this place! For a starter, It's definitely classy. The decor and the atmosphere of the place is just amazing. It's all fitted out to the highest quality and gives you the feeling that you're stepping into the roaring twenties. The staff are all very professionally dressed and super hospitable. They were very helpful and diligent in navigating me to where I had to be. Be sure to also walk out onto the terraces where you can catch sweeping views of the city skyline. I have also been told there's a swimming pool on the roof! Now that's just plan absurd. Highly recommend giving this place a visit, even if you're just walking by. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of London and is only a few strides away from Bank Station.
T. T.
I love the Asian restaurant in the Ned the food is very delicious. Better if you go after 1:30 2pm more quite at 12 it's packed and you will wait for your food a lot. Check your bill before paying they accidentally added 2-3 dishes that we didn't have and it was like £30 but they took it off in the end. The toilets are a bit far downstairs.
M. P.
Exceptional Sunday Brunch feast @ TheNed within a beautiful Art Deco restored (bank) building.
The range of goodies available as a bottomless feast from Lobster, Oysters, salads & joints of meat is stunning as is the taste & presentation.
A great dining experience & worth every penny!
J. S.
Great eating place in the former Midland/HSBC Bank building at Poultry near Bank tube. Stunning interior, tastefully converted from a banking hall, that hosts a number of different places to eat.
As with most places in the City, it is very busy at peak lunch hours but if you can find a table it's got a great buzz. Most places seem reasonably priced too given the location - it's never going to be cheap but it's not excessive.
A nice experience given the grandeur of the location.
T. C.
Came here for pre-dinner drinks in the foyer bar. Set in the old Midland Bank it has been restored tastefully. There was a really good band playing. Service was good and our time there felt like a special treat. Staff were friendly and attentive with table service. Would love to come back and stay in the hotel.
J. P.
Really lovely place, so nicely decked out, art deco with jazz trio playing, food was delicious, had complimentary drink on arrival, and the service was excellent, would definitely recommend! :-)
B. P. 安.
Atmosphere and music are nice. Cool decor. Too many pretentious folk around for my taste, but I don't go there to meet strangers. Only down side are rude and inattentive bartenders.
R.
Absolute luxury. The hotel rooms are incredible with all of the amenities that you could possibly imagine with a choice of cowshed products rather than them assuming what hair type you have and assigning you. The mini bar is beautifully presented and well stocked and if you are staying there you must go to the roof and look at the views. There is a wonderful little pool and a bar on the roof!
N. A.
Great atmosphere on a Thursday eve and the life music adds to it. The only let-down were the cocktails - they weren't great at all. It was incredibly busy and obviously a popular place - I'd just remove them from the menu. Stick to the simple mixer type drinks.
A. L.
Good food (I highly recommend the sea bass), relaxed atmosphere and great views from the roof garden!

Lively luxury destination in central London, huge bar is popular with the in-crowd for after-work drinks and this creates a great atmosphere. Also fantastic traditional boardrooms and event spaces upstairs for different types of function to impress even the most discerning of guests. Competent and friendly staff and well thought through theme from beginning to end. Price tag fairly reflects location, high end outfitting and top hospitality offered.

My favourite place in the city for (nice) after work drinks with the most amazing live music on the centre podium all night. Great choice of restaurants to suit everyone too, book ahead on busy nights Thursday- Saturday! Cecconis in the Ned is great and you can view the singer and band still. Great bathrooms too!
L. F.
Great cocktails in beautiful surroundings and decor seeing as it used to be a bank. We visited late afternoon and they had live entertainment, different singers and musicians. Great place to meet up and chat with loads of different places to sit. Good for people watching...!

This edwardian Inspired hotel and bar is magnificent. Boasts of 9 dining restaurants from Italian cusine to steak, is there anything you can't find here? I found myself here 2 years ago and I booked a spa evening for my bride to be friend at the Cowshed. Last night my friend and I went for drinks and a bite to eat, we chose to sit in Millie's section. Beautiful dim lighting ambience, fantastic live band, serves food from around the world. Full of elegance and class. Don't forget they also have barbers, nail salon. Check out the photos. Live jazz and acoustic. Perfect for a date, meetings, solo drink, group of friends meet up even and a perfect weekend getaway.
B.
The food is great and the place looks polished, good staff. BUT it really feels a bit like a posh airport waiting hall. Too massive, the live music in the middle sounds cheap due to the bad acoustics. The restaurants struggle to be distinct enough as they all share the same atmosphere.
G. S.
Surroundings are truly delightful, we were welcomed and seated nicely. Food was very tasty but not quite the portion sizes we were expecting from a "deli" and as the restaurant got busier the service level dipped. Overall we were happy with our first experience here and would come back/recommend.
D. H.
An amazing atmosphere and venue! The lobby on the ground floor has 7 restaurants and bar to choose from. There is also live music every night of the week. Without a shadow of doubt the place to be seen in London right now. Enjoy!!
T. F.
Amazing refurbishment. A marvelous repurpose creating a Mary Poppins scene but with interesting bars and cool restaurants. The best thing is the music. Live bands of differing styles and sizes performing everyday on the former reception desk. It can take an age to reach the bar, but be friendly to the waiting staff and they can do table service. Well worth a visit, and check the original vault door downstairs...
C. W.
Great hotel! Very friendly staff and they go the extra mile to fulfill your wishes/ requests.
Stayed there twice. First time the room was somewhat on the smaller side but at the second stay the standard room was a good size and the rooms are generally are extremely nicely done.
Only downside that is wasn't clear to me that with my room type I could not access the roof top pool / terrace but only the downstairs member's club.
Spa is another big plus and one if not the best gym I have seen so far in a hotel!
Great restaurant options within the hotel.
So far m favourite London hotel!!!
W. P.
Fantastic classic decoration, with velvet seating in Ceccino and beautiful green marble columns. Breakfast was large portions and not extortionate. Live band played on stage behind us, perfect volume and set the mood/atmosphere Very well. Can't speak for the hotel or other restaurants unfortunately. Highly recommend.

Avoid this place. For some reason it’s the new popular place to go in the City. I was there as a guest of a member so had access to the member areas.
The place itself is stunning- absolutely beautiful building and truly impressive.
However it’s full of wannabes- bad attitudes and showing off of cash. It’s overpriced. The staff clearly hate you.
When the Ned was announced it was pitched as a haven- somewhere you’d want to go to chill out and enjoy your surroundings in. I considered a membership. The reality is that they’ve degraded their product to such an extent that it’s not actually a nice place to be at all. A private haven in the city it ain’t. Better places to go without the bill or the attitude.
M. A.
Stunning building next to the Bank Station. We had an opportunity of having breakfast there with our clients. Very nice atmosphere, kind and quick service. These premises were once a place of a bank. Downstairs you can see the doors from the safe - they are huge. The lobby where is the restaurant has huge open space.
B. F.
Glamorous and elegant building, too busy on a Friday night and a bit overpriced. Amazing quality of food, and choice of restaurants... Malibu kitchen for healthy brunches, Kaia for light Asian food, Millie's kitchen for hearty British grub.
L.
Delicious breakfast in the English brasserie. The downstairs dining area is a must, even just to walk round and take in the view. Built in an former bank building, the decor is well-selected and not over-decadent. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, and my breakfast of eggs royale was very tasty. A must for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just drinks!
J. T.
Had a wonderful stay at The Ned, the room was Beautiful and the staff so thoughtful and attentive! It was a great night in London!
D. H.
Had breakfast here which is not cheap but well worth the money. Speedy service and the quality of the food is exemplary. A gorgeous setting and somewhere I'll certainly visit again, maybe for dinner as well.
G. K.
One of the proper gems of London. Always a great spot to visit. Amazing selection of whiskey and scotch
D. d. D.
What a fun place to stay! Everything is available in house if you don't wish to venture out in the London weather. Great restaurants, bars, workout facilities and hammam. The staff are friendly. Our room was a little smallish so if that's important to you check before you book because the hotel is usually fully booked. I definitely recommend for anyone!
A. T.
Brilliant place, lots of different areas to eat. Magnificent interior, (used to be an old bank). Subtle live background music. Some bars are for members only which is a shame! Thoroughly recommend!!
G. S.
Really enjoyed our stay at The Ned hotel. It used to be the old Midland Bank building and has retained all it's character and features. On entering the building it has a real elegant and classic feel. The room we stayed in was beautiful and had everything you need. I Will say it's a bit pricey but worth every penny. The staff are very helpful and always there if you need them.
T. C.
A nice Hotel, but - be aware to book the correct room with the right deal - staff is super restrictive even to non UK guests about who can access when the club with which room category. Meanwhile I have the impression it’s more about selling big rooms to Clients rather than selling a “Ned Experience”, guys don’t get greedy, that’s where it all stops! Some rooms have strange accessibility because of the historic building...
S. J. S.
E. R.
Great location for dining with friends!
K. V.
Really impressive presentation. You also have to have a drink in the vault as it is a really cool spot. The top balcony it pretty epic too. Rooms are spacious and beds were comfortable. Make sure to check there isn't a function happening in the vault if it's the reason for your stay. And if you are having friends over for drinks, be aware that they have a one guest and one extra policy. So if your in a room with your husband /girlfriend then there's a good chance you won't be able to meet a friend at their bar!
O. C.
Architecture is pretty - reminded me of Gringotts in Harry Potter. Sadly rather stuffy, prentious and massively overpriced.
T. T.
HELLO take care for the OMICRON CORONAVIRUS variant. 💨 🚑🚑🚑
C. S.
Utterly amazing. The conversion is astounding. Bars and restaurants look incredible, roof top terrace is jaw dropping.
Room very comfortable, lots of amenities.
One star removed for LOUD music through the entire building until midnight.
J. B.
The lobby bar felt like I was transported to the era of conspicuous consumption (in a good way). The scene was happening on a Friday and the drinks were strong and tasty. There was excellent service and businessmen with great stories.
J. R.
We dined in the private member's club downstairs.
The food was good, but not great and elements of our order were missed. Our table had chairs so low that it made my back hurt, but there were other chairs I should have moved to.
The biggest issue with this place was the noise. At lunchtime it was so packed, the ambient noise bounced around making it very hard to hear the table conversation.
(bonus points for the wallpaper)
J. D.
Went there for a work conference as well as dinner.
The venue is just sumptuous, grand with amazing high ceilings and marbles all over the place. The conference rooms and the reception rooms make it a perfect place for speeches and conferences.
For dinning, the many bars and restaurant available gives you in theory a large variety of choice but practically it is so booked that it's very hard to get a table anywhere.
The live music is good but it's so buzzing that it can be difficult to get an actual conversation.
A. A.
The best place in the City to meet for a coffee or lunch.
A. S.
I have been to the Kaia restaurant. The place is very nice but a little bit noisy. I ordered a poke bowl of salmon. The quality was very good apart from the avocado. The price was very good value for the money. I would definitely recommend a lunch there.
K. T.
Lovely hotel with nice amenities including a ginormous top quality gym and a one of a kind spa. The rooms with certainly satisfy. My personal favorite part is the abundance of soaps/ toiletries in the room.
A. C.
Been renovated with style and attention to detail. Food and drinks aren't groundbreaking but don't disappoint at all. The vaults bar did the best cocktails in the building and the backdrop adds to the impact. A really breath taking building that will make a night feel special. The clientele it is clearly aimed for isn't my scene which is the only reason I won't be a regular.
L. F.
Absolutely nothing to complain about as the wife and I had a great stay - but for me.... the decor just doesn't cut it . It's very busy inside and I prefer the minimalist look but the staff, food and drinks were spot on - if not a little expensive - even for central London hotels.
J. M.
Very swish and massive members club / restaurants/ bars / health club. enjoyed a nice drink in the downstairs vault bar. Quite impressive with its original vault doors and deposit boxes. Food in the roof top club restaurant was good too. Lots to go back for here!
J. m.
wonderful place, vibes are excellent! classy crowd with a great selection of dining options and rooms for those looking to stay. Didn’t get the chance to check out the rooftop but will surely go on my next visit.
G. H.
We couldn't get a Sunday brunch booking so called in for lunch on a sunny Saturday. The atmosphere is lovely with massively high ceilings and bright spacious restaurants. We chose the New York deli and were not disappointed by either the matza ball soup or the truly delicious Reuben sandwiches. Highly recommend this place.
N. M.
If you go to the Ned, be prepared to be spending at least 20£. It's an expensive place. Nevertheless the ambiance was great! You get Live music an amazing Burger tasty drinks.
Y. J.
Malibu kitchen is one of my all-time favourites, although most of the restaurants have great service for a very good price. Once, we mentioned allergies, the chef came out of the kitchen to talk us through what was possible, accommodating as much as they could. Another time, when I mentioned a new job, the waitress brought a slice of batten-burg with congratulations in chocolate icing. Never disappointed here but it gets busy so do book in advance. All round excellent.
T. K. D.
Quite a spectacle. An impressive building with plenty going on inside. The vault (private members club) downstairs is a must see, I believe you can do a tour?. Live music upstairs (definitely at weekends but I’m not sure about week days). Multiple restaurants inside which all get pretty busy so I would suggest booking in advance. The general bar/seating area in the middle is also cool and the drinks are good but service can be a little slow and it can get busy. Atmosphere is lively and busy especially at weekends. Smart casual attire is fine.
p. b.
Simply amazing! Superb staff, fantastic rooms, the best shared spaces I've ever seen, the food is second to none, the pool is classy and relaxing and, to top it all, they have live jazz/funk bands playing that are of a world class standard.
N.
Good place to have drinks after work, though the live bands can occasionally be far too loud to have a proper conversation, but this is a problem afflicting most London bars now. The restaurants are also good for business meetings.
B. P.
The place is stunning inside and offers a range of options for drinks and eating. I popped there early one evening and the place was packed with suits and city workers. What used to be a posh yet warm and eclectic place as per other Soho House venues has become rather unpleasant.
S. P.
Amazing once you get inside, I was fortunate to be taken in by a member as there was a queue to get in.
Once inside you are greeted with a large circular stage - there was a very good - jazz band playing the usual standards.
My friend got us a table to sit down at and we had our order taken by the waitresses. I chose an IPA bitter which was good but I can't remember it's name.
Great venue, but a little bit noisy with chatter and its a real shame people don't clap or acknowledge the band, they were good.
A. L.
Love the Lobster. The beef is good too. Oysters not fresh enough. If you like lobster, go. If you like seafood, think twice. If you just want to find a place to have a nice dinner, just go somewhere else.
D. F.
Nice looking place. Often have a jazz band on. Generally busy, too busy. Service average. Put a very cheeky service charge of 12.5% on even when you just order a drink at the bar.
O. B.
It's a hotel lobby bar, and in all honesty I have yet to try the restaurant(s), but the bar holds its own in the Square Mile, offering good to great drinks at rather sensible prices.
A spacious and grand hall that somehow feels claustrophobic. You are hemmed in by dark wood panelled partitions that separate the smallish bar area from the restaurant seating.
The highlight is very much the perpetually filled centre stage. Who doesn't like sipping cocktails or downing a pint whilst listening to piano jazz or Gabrielle stinging Dreams (yes, it actually happened!)?
Not a member, but I'm told the private member's club is rather good. You pays your money ...
The best bar for 750 yards around.
S. S.
The Ned comes across as having a bit of a pretentious side, however when have first impressions ever been 100% accurate. This place has probably the coolest lobby of any hotel I've seen. Plus the rooms are simply amazing. A decor that is like a speakeasy with a dash of steam punk. I would highly recommend this, albeit pricy, hotel.
UPDATE: after a few days here, I would amend my summary. I'll still give it 5 stars bud add that most of the staff here seem clueless. The GM/Owner spent all the money on fittings and decor what little they had left on hiring and training quality staff. If you avoid asking complicated questions like "... Where's the toilet" you'll be fine.
UPDATE2: This place needs to figure out if it wants to be a nightclub or hotel. Or at least do a better job of creating a better experience for hotel guests in the lobby. Lowering rating.
M. V.
Very busy and very noisy on a Sunday in January. However, the lunch was good and the staff lovely, apart from being asked to vacate our seats after two hours. Even though we knew we only had table for a couple of hours a couple of food items were empty and we had to wait a while for staff to refill. Gvfm 3 course with a glass of prosecco and tea/coffee £45.00.
A. F.
Very nice place my sister is a member
,my sister showed my around this amazing place and we had acouple of drinks here one evening the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My sister enjoys going to the gym here .They have rooms to stay in and plenty of different places to eat, drink and socialize in.
T. S. T. F. !.
Would give more stars if I could. The staff were exceptional as were the facilities, the room, the atmosphere. We had one fantastic weekend. We went out and did lots of things but to be honest we could of stayed in the hotel the whole weekend and had just the most amazing time.
Thank you The Ned. We will be back. Sooner the better! !
S. C. (. N.
Incredible building in the heart of London with lots of different dinning options. You get access to the private member's bar, both on the roof and in the old vault, when staying overnight. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are amazing. Would highly recommend.
D. S.
Fantastic place. Lovely decor, great live music. Best all you can eat Sunday lunch around. Lutyens Grill is superb for steak during the week.
M. V.
Absolutely gorgeous building and decor - I came here for a massage at the spa but wished I'd stayed for a cocktail at the bar too! My therapist (Milly) was fantastic - definitely one of the best massages I've had. All spa staff were friendly and welcoming - I will be back!
P. B.
Amazing five star hotel, with a very unique style and atmosphere. Members-only areas are not really my thing because of the arrogance of the other guests, but it all looks great and breakfast is magnificent. Room is very nice, little small, but very well appointed!
I. N.
We went there for afternoon tea. I think it is overpriced for what they had.
The service ranged from great from one person to not interested by another.
I didnt like the cakes, the sandwiches were so-so ... sort like made in a hurry and had no particular taste. The scenes were good though.
We didnt get a particularly good table even though there were other better ones available (or maybe reserved... but no one came while we were there).
I think there are other nice afternoon teams available in London for sure.
J. N.
A place you should visit especially if you can dine with a member.
The roof terrace affords views across the city from a heated outdoor pool. Alternatively take drinks in the old bank vault accessed through the beautifully restored 20 tonne door.
The food menu was excellent and I would recommend the rich gooey chocolate pudding.
T. K.
I wasn't in the hotel but just the main customer area, a large and impressive space filled with restaurants and bars. We went for coffee at Cafe Sou and the staff were attentive and friendly. People around us were also friendly and prepared to join in general banter with strangers. In London too !
You pay a premium for your drinks but it's worth it for the location, beautiful building and ambient buzz.
A. H.
We rented a room for a conference style event, food was good and plentiful, except we would have preferred a more main-course style item for lunch. The room's acoustics left a little to be desired as it was almost hollow sounding, but the staff were lovely and attentive when necessary
L. G. B.
One of the most grand and opulent spaces in the city. Amazing, chic, and classy cocktails. Ambience you won't find anywhere else. The live music was brilliant. If you're looking for a roaring good time, look no further.
G. B.
Amazing brunch - their sunday brunch is absolutely fantastic and worth the money! Make sure you don't eat much the day before so you have room for all the deliciousness. Ask to be seated in the wood paneled Luyten's Grill area if you want a quieter experience. Great staff who make you feel really special.
C. N.
I’m not one to rave over hotel rooms but I love the character here. Art Deco to the hilt, with more Gatsby and less Daisy. It’s a little moody, softened by elegance, thoughtfully stocked with bath salts and gin. If there’s anywhere in the world one can retire to in graceful solitude, this would be it.
N. D.
I visited NY Deli restaurant and I was very happy! Food was really good, wine as well. We had NY cheesecake and it was delicious! It was my Bday at that day and staff even sang happy birthday for me! Ned itself is very nice place, interior is just perfect and it is everytime very full, atmosphere is perfect! Definitely recommend to go, even if just for a drink!
h. l.
There is a real wow factor walking into the Ned with its high ceilings and lots of people milling around. There's a number of different restaurants inside, we chose Zobler. Worked out well for our group, service was friendly, cocktails we're good, food was okay but not outstanding. Would go again if I was in the area with a group of friends.
C. W.
An absolutely lovely hotel from top to bottom. The rooms, while a bit small, are elegant, modern, and sparklingly clean, with loads of toiletries provided. They're also quiet and private, despite the delightfully lively bar downstairs. Rooftop terrace and pool is a must-see. One of the best hotels in London.
M. J.
Recently opened in the heart of the city, very stylishly decorated and a great atmosphere in the entrance where entertainment is laid on in the centre of the large reception area, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The private bars in the vault and on the roof have been really well done, turning what could conceivably be a very dull set of rooms or spaces into somewhere you can really enjoy food, drink and company. The room we stayed in was very tastefully decorated and had just about everything you need for a short stay. Not cheap but worth it if you are looking for somewhere to treat yourself....
N.
Had a bite at the American diner style restaurant; just great. Excellent pastrami on rye, and even better pickled veg. Went back in the evening; excelkent live music in the centre of the main lobby; restaurant bar space. Have a gin martini in the libery cocktail bar; behind the curtain. Perfect.
M.
What a place! Great atmosphere, loid chatter noisy. I wounder what's like when there is music? Food very good. Staff run off their feet, as everywhere nowadays, but helpful. So tip well, if they do the job only.
A. K.
I think I'm in love. The decor is opulence embodied: complete with emerald marble scintillating on the pillars.
I stopped by for a quick lunch and glass of wine. Sat at the long, high table, one is taken back to an 70's bank on Wall Street. Though steeply priced, the food's quality and flavour is unrivalled.
S.
Amazing atmosphere, popped in for drinks at Millie's Lounge, wanted to stay longer. Food looks great. Loved the live jazz later in the evening. Will go back for sure!
S. L.
Stunning new venue. Are at Millie's restaurant and had turkey with all the trimmings. Gorgeous food, perfect service with just the right level of attentiveness. Live music playing at lunchtime made for a fabulous atmosphere.
Y. S.
The Ned, part of the Soho House group, has an impressive lobby featuring live music and several restaurants. The bank-turned-hotel also has an underground vault bar and a member's only rooftop with a pool. Chic taste coupled with a lively atmosphere make this a great place for drinks and food. Just make sure you have a reservation!
M. G.
Delicious dinner at Malibu Kitchen- food to die for and excellent drinks - especially spritz and Bloody Mary. Great service. This place is perfect for catch up - the ambience is very inviting yet quiet. Love this place!
P. C.
Beautiful place to visit, drinks are kind of normal price, maybe a bit more expensive than in other places, but the atmosphere in the Ned is unique, so you pay for that. We eat at the Asian restaurant and we paid £25 each (starter and main course) drinks not included. Live music, recommended
K. R.
The building is beautiful inside, its been renovated to the highest standard, can not fault the setting, there is warm atmosphere. We ate at Cecconi's, the food was a average at best and overpriced at £80 a head for the christmas set menu. I had calamari for starter , the batter was heavy and the dish unrefined. For main i had Lobster Linguini, the lobster was nice but overpowered by the linguini pasta sauce. I would go back for drinks but not for food.
P. B.
Beautiful design and service! An old bank transformed into a mesmerizing hotel. The place blew my mind. Beautiful swimming pool on roof terrace alongside restaurant and bars. There is also a vault turned into a bar very cool! Worth the price! Another swimming pool indoors with a sauna and steam room. They also have many services such as hammam gym barbers.... it is a must see and an experience that is needed.
A.
Very beautiful and fancy. Didn’t stay at the hotel, but came here on a Sunday evening and listened to live Jazz music while people were dancing swing. Very classy atmosphere. Enjoyed it a lot!
s. p.
Nice place to eat or have an afterwork.
S. M.
Great meal, great location, great wines and whisky all at a reassuringly premium price. Cool place that is it able as a city bar and restaurant that can attract the mix of strayed city bosses and millennial hipsters.
C. B.
An amazing space with really friendly and attentive staff as to be expected at this type of venue. We ate at Cecconi's at the on the counter, again a great spot. The Lobster linguine looked magnificent with the tail perched on a swirl of linguine, however it was inedible. I can safely say that I've never had a more sodium laden dish in my life. I sent it back and was later given another which was a bit less salty but still way way too heavy on the salt. Ned for goodness sake sort it out!
P. F. T. U.
I almost dont want to leave a good review...so as to not spoil this place for myself. A secret world within the city. What a beautiful escape from reality on the streets below. To really enjoy all that has to be offered...being with a full member helped immensely. But even for a brief stop in on the ground floor this really is a City gem!
A. A.
Stunning place built into a former bank. When we come for a dinner, there was a quartet playing live music just in the center of the main hall. So beautiful.
M. D.
I went for the Sunday buffet brunch. The venue is incredible with live music and amazing service. The food was very good although you'll get bored quickly. 2 hours is more than enough to enjoy it all.
A. R.
Upon arriving for a late night drink I thought I'd found myself in the Overlook bar and fully expected to be served by Joe Turkel. As it was, a truly excellent establishment; amazing decor, delightful ambience plus friendly and attentive staff. Lovely toilets also. Can't comment on prices as one of my companions kindly paid, but safe to say I have no desire to attack a bathroom door with an axe.
D. P.
Amazing bars in this place, especially if you have access to guests bars. You have to go to the Vault bar and roof top terrace. Good friendly service. Nice old fashioned rooms.
S. B.
We went on a Sunday when they have a buffet. Hood choice on the buffet but I wouldn't go again much prefer it o a week day evening or Saturday when you can use the restaurants. Service was poor for this level of restaurant and we had to wait an hour for four table and we didn't even get an apology. On the plus side the live music was good .
R. B.
This place is a scene and you should definitely check it out if you are visiting from out of town. The food is fairly good, but the atmosphere is great. Live band on stage, vast open area, comfortable chairs, and good service
A. J.
Spent a night here on Friday for the soft launch and the room was one of the most beautiful I've stayed in. Classic style, elegant furnishings and all of the best quality. Food at Millie's restaurant is very tasty and reasonably priced. Can't wait to visit more often and try our everything The Ned has to offer.
B.
Very nice but felt a little out of place, the restaurant staff were a little sniffy about a group of young adults being there but after it was made clear that we weren't wasting their time they were nice enough. Good food, lovely building.
E. T.
I've always walked past this place thinking it was posh bar, boy was I wrong!! It feels like the cafe at the royal exchange, or for those of you who haven't been there like a posh canteen!!!
You basically go in to find these long tables for communal dining and depending on which table you sit on you will then be ordering from the restaurant that table caters for. There are at least 3 places you can choose from that I can see.
Tried out the egg omelette at one of the places, it was fantastic. Good spot for lunch.
T. M.
Beautiful interior. Busy all day. Bustling with 00s of people, mainly City types doing breakfast meetings, brunch, coffee bar meets, drinks , lunch . All the restaurants and bars on the street level are always full to busy. Pricey and even though the service is good, you always have the feeling it lacks the class of somewhere with more history and tradition.
As beautiful and impressive the decor, it reminds of more 'Dubai " than Dorchester, more 'Shanghai' than Singapore.
What im saying is, it's shiny, its light, its almost polished by rehearsal.
Oriental visitors seem to flock there ans Monday to Friday its used as a contact point in The heart of The City. Its not somewhere one would make an effort to go at a weekend, as nice as it is.
Impressive. Excellent service. Expensive .
Great option and has everything one needs.
C. H.
Attention to detail in every sense. The bed at the Ned was super soft and fluffy but be prepared for a pillow fight into it. Abundant pillows along with toiletries for every single combination possible (energising shower wash, relaxing shower wash, reconditioning shower scrub) with cowshed products. Fabulous finishing and a historic feeling to the space. The lobby staff went above and beyond to help check in, with the same grace and elegance as the interiors. Wonderful visit will be back soon
S. V.
My favorite place in London, as it has such a friendly staff, great location, great vibe and gorgeous room decor. Someone puts a lot of attention to the small details in this hotel, which is amazing for such a big place.
I didn't like the food at the deli, but other than that it's fantastic.
R. L.
I checked out yesterday and have already started trying to work out when I can return! Our medium room was the perfect size with a gorgeous bathroom and a great interior and the pass to access the members area and spa was well worth it.
From checking in with Ricardo to the check out every second was enjoyed.
J. M.
Literally all the staff were super friendly. It gets very busy during weeknights but weekends are much less crowded. We went on a Friday night and there was a jazz band playing. Love the ambiance, very classy but not too formal.
K. E.
Out of this world, one of the best places to go in London for a drink. It's expensive but worth it. Decor stunning, especially at Christmas time, and cocktails are delicious.
R. A.
The Ned is sensational. The attention to detail is awe inspiring. Always feel at home here. The selection of restaurants here alone make this the best place to come to in London.
Millie's has the best view to the live band that plays here and the resturaunt staff are generally cold but very efficient in their service. They don't want to waste time smiling. Just tell me what you would like, and bang get it done :) which is typical 5 star service.
The problem is the NED is so beautiful and will remain my favourite place in London for many years to come, so it's always a 5 star for me.
Hope this helps and if it does please like the comment :)
U. G.
Nice property. Everything is nice about it except a couple of things. Its dark/dungy with no windows. A crowded lobby can be overwhelming after a while if you’re a guest. Rooftop lounge isn’t for hotel guests, just ‘members’ which is weird.
J. L.
Fantastic venue. They have live music there which adds to the atmosphere nicely. It's fairly quick to get served and the prices are not too bad either. If you are looking for a drink after work and you are near bank station give this place a try.
P. M.
Kaia Japanese Tea was lovely - But!!!!
We were given a present of afternoon tea at Kaia, which is within The Ned Hotel. This was booked 5 weeks ago, however the person who booked it was called last week and advised that our dietary requirements could not be catered for (we do not eat shellfish or pork and also asked for no beef or port gelatin). After a bit of an argument, they confirmed that they would be able to cater for us.
When we arrived they had our dietary requirements on their system and other that serving me a tea with gelatin, which they quickly changed and apologized for, everything else was stunning.
The flavors were delicate, the food incredibly fresh and the staff had no problem with giving us fresh tea (breakfast tea or jasmine) whenever we asked for it.
Add to the above, live jazz being played near the bars (which sounded brilliant) and a stunning setting and you really have a lovely experience.

The starters were good and fresh, as was the massive selection of sweets. The choice of main course was ok and if you liked seafood e.g. lobsters you would have been really pleased and this justified the high cost for lunch. Unfortunately where we were sitting meant all the people coming for the buffet and all the plates being cleared, passed by and sometimes over my head. Not a great experience. The staff were as helpful as they could have been but there wasn't an option to move. The live music was lovely and really lifted the occasion. I'm not sure I would go back again.

Need to pay attention to watering their customers. They are so good at providing a nice, comfortable atmosphere with Jazz and dancing and good food... But nourishing those at the table with water would make everybody feel more happy when they leave

A group of us had dinner at Cecconi’s restaurant and I have to say, the meal was one of the best of my life! The live band adds to the great atmosphere. I’ll be back for more soon.

I had afternoon tea at Millies Lounge, the building is beautiful and the live music was brilliant. Both those things were by far the best thing about the afternoon. Our waitress was lovely and it was quiet when we arrived but as soon as it started to get busy it felt like any organisation went down the drain and the staff were getting flustered. The actual afternoon tea was nice, and although it wasn't perfect all round I would recommend it mostly because of the building/setting and the live music.

Nicely styled rooms with plenty of amenities and a great mini bar. The choice of Cow Shed products is pretty impressive! I attended a private event here and the rooms are amazing. The basement bar is very cool

Nice atmosphere and several places to and drink inside one great hall with live music. However, it's quite pricy for what you get. Mandatory service charge of 12.5% is payable even if you order and pick up your drinks from the bar, which is extortionate.

The best hotel in East London. Amazing SPA, clubs, bars and restaurants. Good vibe. Nice people. Very beautiful lobby and vault club. Standard rooms are not too big, but have all the amenities you may ever need and some more. Best wifi ever and it is open ti everyone. Very good spot even to get a drink or a meal. Highly reccomemded. Prices aren't bad for the quality offered.

What a place! Only ever drank in here, not stayed in the rooms - which look amazing!! Lovely bar, it was quite late in the evening when I was here but I think I remember a salon or makeup studio in the middle of the bar? Lovely drinks. Lovely glassware, lovely atmosphere. Lovely place

A very good effort. The members' terrace is a delight in sunny, calm weather, with diverting views of London's skyline all around. The food up there was very good indeed and priced in-line with the general area, which is to say; it's bonkers, but not insanely so ;)

Been here twice now for the buffet. Went on a Sunday brunch buffet which was awesome defiantly save space for the Victoria sponge cake the best I've had. Loads of options for food, variety of meat, fish and veg options. Also went here with family on boxing day as I couldn't justify the cost for Christmas day meal. The buffet they had for boxing day wasn't worth the extra cost what you pay for on a normal sunday buffet meal. So if you want to try just go for the cheaper option as you won't miss anything special besides doing it on that specific day. Defiantly a good experience advised to miss breakfast before attending 😉. Also as we booked Sunday as it's easier to drive into central as it's free parking and no congestion charge. Enjoy 😋

Went for the Sunday brunch. Large choice of food, seafood, English breakfast, cheeses and many desserts. Waiters were always on hand to clear empty plates away ready for your next course. Price is defiantly worth it, and additional drinks are a decent price

OMG amazing afternoon tea experience. The decor is gorgeous. I felt like I had been transported back in time. The vegan afternoon tea was delicious.

It’s like someone dropped a sugar hut in central London and it’s great. Me and the boys come after work most days to let off some steam and crack a few lobster tail sandwiches. Great place to network with other Essex superstars. If you’re like me, you’ll love it here.

This hotel was the best I've stayed in for toiletries. They haven't forgotten anything! The rooms are compact but lovely and very stylish. This hotel has is all! Restaurants, bars and is in a great location.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic ambience, great live jazz bands and cocktails were good!

Stayed here several times before but with corona they've changed policies and its just lost its appeal.
Service charges are extortionate for everything, there's an accommodation SC, a dining SC, even ordering ice to the room incurred a £5.00 SC! No longer can residents have access to the Vault nightclub, I was not even allowed to show my friend the inside.
The rosewood Hotel and scarves bar at Holborn is now the hotel of choice

absolutely stunning inside! go here for a break from the norm and a high class beer... expect to pay about 6 quid for half a pint... the service is poor and the prices high, so it's one of those fancy places to view but not spend too long in... oh, and you need reservation as it's always packed with folks with cash to splash

Over rated ambience. I must admit the beers on offer were good as was the cocktail. They had closed half the venue for a Bloomberg event though so not the best night one can have in there.

Wow wow wow. Gorgeous and delicious. Had a work breakfast in Millie's and it was delightful. Would love to go back for evening cocktails for a special occasion...if only my wallet allowed me to be a regular!

Wonderful food.
Impeccable service.
There was a group playing in the middle of the large resturant area, they were fabulous. The singer's voice was faultless and a joy to listen to,it made my night.
We had a few coctails from the strong page👍🍹,most enjoyable.
Can't wait to go there again.
Anyone free?😂

The rooms are nice but pricey and the ground floor is entirely too chaotic for a hotel. The service is quite good in general. The spa is also nice. I had trouble figuring out what lights turned on and off with what switches. They advertise intravenous treatments like vitamins and antiaging, which some might think is great but I thought was a big turnoff. Antiaging was 350 pounds! The location is great, though.

It’s great steak and chips. Basic and perfect. At first we weren’t sure what to expect but the food was fresh and on time. The steak was made to order and then the portion was filling.

Awesome bars and restaurants in this hotel. Make sure to visit the vault. Incredible rooms with a traditional feel but still keeps things modern. Also, by far provides the best hotel slippers, which to me shows the extreme level of attention they have to details and customer care!

Love the decor and customer service is outstanding, not as expensive as you might think. Sit and soak up the atmosphere with a tea or coffee whilst listening to live music in the setting of what was s beautiful old bank. First class

Popped in for coffee and dessert. All I can say is it's absolutely stunning. Food was as excellent as one would expect, but what really stood out was that staff were prepared to bend over backwards to accommodate us. Will definitely go back for dinner.

If you want to stay in the financial district, this place is posh! Fabulous food (though not a great high tea), AMAZING SPA, lovely rooms, EXCELLENT service. The Sunday brunch is THE PLACE TO BE. Simply gorgeous hotel.

There's just a lot to say about this place besides it's being a hotel it's very nice well thought of place, to have lunch and dinner to socialise, to talk , to have something to drink to bring a friend ,family ,girlfriend it's good. It has 7 restaurants 3 of the places are like pubs , but only throughout the middle of the evening it's alright (#for certain people#) to go because 6ish pm the environment starts to become a bit heavy. The reason being is because starts to become more more busy kinda of a party environment which I won't go into details , but besides that there's live music which brings the mood up#) well if you want to know more you might as well just come and see for yourself.

Beautiful hotel and private members' club in a listed building. Love the grand marble pillars and diverse dining options. The live music is great as well. The place does get quite crowded in the evenings.

The Ned is a cute spot for happy hour or drinks in general. It is an old bank turned into a hotel, restaurant and bar. They even have live music sometimes and a very fun cocktail menu.

HNY 2022 - party was awesome

Huge place with a great variety of dining and drinking options. There are different restaurants for every taste and two bars that will cover every need. The indoors has that retro luxury going on, from the booths and tables to the teapots and silverware.

Over and above the hotel it’s an upmarket bar and food hall. Opulent interior and grand proportions. Great venue. Expensive but worth the visit I’d say. Good for lunch and evening drinks. Too much to explore on a single visit so I’ll be back.
L. P.
Fabulously opulent with British charm. Definitely worth a visit. Welcoming front of house and plenty to choose from in terms of food offering and drinks. Try the NedGroni
The 'open to the public' area is cleverly laid out and every restaurant feels unique and 'private' despite being in a vast open plan room. If you are staying at the hotel or become a member you then have access to an incredible rooftop restaurant bar with infinity pool, vault bar, barber shop, nail bar, slick grill/steak restaurant etc.
Enjoy it.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Overall good value for money, but wine somewhat pricey. For such nice lunch, need little longer so not feel rushed, but overall excellent
