Super friendly staff. Lovely experience. They have amazing coffee too, one of the best I’ve ever had. The continental breakfast was lovely. Very clean. Excellent bed and pillows very comfortable. The house keeping service was not the best though. I kept asking for things to be done way too many time and my phone was not working even though I’ve reported it.

Nice five star hotel, just stayed for two days, did not eat there. The room was actually quite small and due to the single glazed windows gets really cold if you don't turn up the heating. One thing that annoyed me was the lack of proper hot water in the morning, all my showers were lukewarm. Reception is very attentive and swiftly addresses concerns. Would stay again, it's central, clean and the bed is comfy and it's definitely more affordable than other five star hotels.

Lovely hotel, big spacious rooms in the best location for the big three museums, Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V&A museum and so on. Very convenient to public transit, bus stop right in front of hotel, and train station just 50 meters away. Rooms were large and beds were comfy. Five Guys and other fun restaurants right across the street. Would highly recommend and definitely return.

Beautiful rooms, elegantly appointed, large well appointed bathroom. Big comfortable bed. British styling. Staff were very helpful. It was Fashion week so they were busy, however everything went smoothly. A bit of a walk into the city, however plenty of food nearby. great gym.

I have stayed at The Pelham Hotel three times over the past 18 years and in that time I believe the amenities have been pared down. The staff is all very nice and helpful but the rooms seem smaller and less well cared for, i.e. scuffs on walls have not been painted and, although bathrooms in general are up to date, some drains don't work properly, and there is tiny closet space. One improvement that could be made would be to have French press coffee makers in rooms or at least available in the mornings without having to go to the restaurant. There was also a lot of ambient noise either created by staff working or the sound of water trickling through pipes. Perhaps I had been upgraded in the past but I remember larger rooms. I probably will not stay here again because I feel that for $400/night and staying one week the value is just not there.

Of the high-end hotels I've been to, this wasn't all that great. It's very "old-style" which I liked but the room was kind of small. Each room has a different design which is cool. Customer service was okay; most days I walked in and there was no one around which is very odd for high-end hotels. However, one night I asked for a microwave to heat up a delicious Shepherd's pie and they took it, heated it up in the oven, and brought it to my room with utensils and napkins. Overall, it was okay.

Only stayed overnight, but it was very good. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable bed, air conditioning very welcome on a hot night. Only troubled by the underground trains rumbling away, but that's hardly the hotel's fault, and something one has to expect in London. Overall, would happily stay here again as it's very convenient and comfortable.

In all honesty, this hotel has not changed in 15 years since my wife last stayed here. To pay £300 a night plus and have stains on carpets and old worn out fittings (shower) isn't acceptable (in our opinion). Its a shame as this was once a beautiful property.

This hotel is located right near the South Kensington tube station, so travel was made easy from Heathrow and to other areas of London. Staff were friendly and for London standards, the room was spacious! Great quality toiletries, free sparkling water and a turn-down-service every night. Great choice of restaurants in close proximity also. Would stay again!

Hotel was 5 Stars. Staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Concierge Krisztian and Front Desk Clerk Daniela. They had lots of good ideas on what to do with our limited time. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor was staffed with waitresses from various countries who worked so hard to make our dining a great experience. Hotel accommodations were excellent and location was walking distance to attractions.

This is my sixth stay in London and this, by far, is my best hotel experience. The rooms were very clean and the location - across the street from the tube station and dozens of fine restaurants within easy walking distance - is unbeatable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend The Pelham without reservation.

Stayed at The Pelham for a week while visiting our oldest daughter at her study abroad program. This hotel provided an excellent experience from start to finish. The rooms were very clean, updated and plush: comfortable beds, nice towels, etc. The "library" was the coziest of rooms to order a drink and sit by the fire at the end of the day. The staff was very helpful and friendly save one woman who was at the front desk. The location was excellent, being right across from the tube station and right near many places to pick up coffee, snacks, fresh fruit, etc. There are several nice restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood. It is walking distance to several museums and to Chelsea. Our entire family said that we would not look any further for a hotel if we were to return to London.

We spent a week here and found it most pleasant. Good area, hotel restaurant food very good, nice restaurants close by. Rooms comfortable with nice amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful no matter what we asked. While we did not use the tube, it’s a block away. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel. Location is great. Just outside the South-Kensington tube station. Decoration is beautiful. Great bathroom with tub. Didn't have breakfast or dinner here so can't review that. The hotel is a bit noisy so for very light sleepers not the best option. Service is terrific.

I've only been in such a small hotel in Tokyo. It was impossible to walk past my boyfriend in the room and we didn't fit in the bathroom either. Maybe 2 ft on either side of the bed, which means there was no room to open suitcases. The decor was very British and quaint, and towels and bed we're comfortable, but it was a bit too small

Great hotel, beautiful rooms and bathrooms. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff is quiet and respectful. My only complaints are the lack of A.C. (it technically has it but it's next to nothing), no fan in the bathroom so it can get a bit stinky and stuffy, and there's only one hotel key (no key cards) so they ask you to turn it in to them when you leave for the day. Overall beautiful and nice.

We liked the King suite we stayed before more than the Mews suite we stayed this time. The value for money is very good. Saw us with lots of baggage and did not move to offer assistance. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to spend a few days here on business.

Average and mediocre food. No atmosphere, but a stroppy maitre-d who rather put us off. We were alone for most of our meal but it caters mostly for residents. Price alone should've put us off! Don't recommend - there are other places nearby which offer better food and value!

We stayed at the Pelham beginning of November for 3 nights. Check in was very smooth and reception found us room despite we arrived very early. Room was good size with super king size bed so we managed to sleep with our little son and didn’t require extra bed. Concierge ( very tall dark hair young man, very difficult name can’t remember) arranged us tickets to NHM ice rink and recommended very nice kids friendly restaurant where we received some treats on his behalf. Location can’t be better, outside South Ken station, shopping, museums, parks all near. Piccadilly line takes you straight to the hotel from Heathrow. Will definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back

We stayed here for a couple nights for our honeymoon and had a terrific stay! Pelham is situated right in the heart of South Kensington in the ideal location – just a few minutes walk to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Kensington Gardens and some great local eats and boutique shops. We wish the room had included an iron/ironing board but besides that it was perfect! They even surprised us with a handwritten note and bottle of bubbly in celebration of our special occasion. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at the hotel with my Aunt on our first trip to London. The hotel is located in South Kensington within in steps of the South Kensington tube station. Easy access and within minutes to many of London's attraction (Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, etc.). It is located next to a somewhat busy street (previous reviews noted noise), however we were located on the 4th floor and did not hear little to none of the street noise. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. I truly appreciate the staff. My Aunt had not been feeling well when we arrived to London and they were the upmost kind and helpful to her. Great service overall. Will definitely stay again when I come back to London.

We had a wonderful 'Tea-tox' afternoon here early in January, and left feeling fresh and ready to take on the new year! A cornucopia of tea blends on offer to help revitalise your whole being, there were a selection of healthy goodies as well to graze on together - brown rice and ginger scones, cucumber and lime sorbet, fresh strawberries and blueberries, poached salmon rye bread sandwich, we sat by a towering bookcase and browsed through the books as we drank, ate and chatted. A lovely experience in a lovely setting.

We needed a room with two beds, so we booked an executive room, which was lovely - large, bright, comfortable and very stylish and romantic in style. Heating - from an air conditioner. In the cold season, it may blow a little from the old windows, but at night they are closed with very thick curtains, which removes the discomfort. The hotel is well located - 10-15 minutes is the wonderful Chelsea area, 15 minutes to Harrods, 5 minutes to museums and further - Hyde Park. There are breakfast cafes around, not sophisticated, but generally decent, for lunch and dinner it is better to go to another area. PS Many thanks to Zhenya, who helps Russian-speaking travelers! · Fans of a shower and a bidet in the room should take into account that there are only bathrooms in the hotel rooms, there are no showers. It's not very comfortable, but overall it doesn't spoil the feeling much. The downside for me was very tight duvets for twin rooms. We are thin girls, but it was not very comfortable to sleep under a blanket 80 cm wide, the duvet cover was 20 centimeters wider. (Original) Прекрасный, атмосферный отель с чудесным расположением. Нам нужна была комната с двумя кроватями, поэтому забронировали представительский номер, который был прекрасен - большой, светлый, комфортабельный, с очень стильной отделкой в романтическом стиле. Отопление - от кондиционера. В холодное время года может немного дуть из старых окон, но на ночь они закрываются очень плотными шторами, что убирает дискомфорт. Отель хорошо расположен - в 10-15 минутах находится чудесный район Челси, 15 мин до Хэрродса, 5 минут до музеев и дальше - Гайд Парк. Кафе для завтрака вокруг есть, не изысканные, но в целом пристойные, для обедов и ужинов лучше отправиться в другой район. PS Огромное спасибо Жене, который помогает русскоговорящим путешественникам! · Любителям душа и наличия в номере биде, стоит учитывать, что в номерах отеля - только ванные, душевых нет. Это не очень комфортно, но в целом не сильно портит ощущение. Минус для меня был - очень узкие одеяла для номеров twin. Мы - худые девушки, но было не очень комфортно спать под одеялом шириной 80 см, пододеяльник был шире сантиметров на 20.
