Reviews of The Z Hotel Victoria

Conveniently located a 2 minute walk from Victoria train station and Wicked/Hamilton, a perfect location for a theatre break. The room was compact and had everything you need at a reasonable price vs other hotels in the local area.
Towels were a little rough and the bed was on the firm side. We requested a quiet room but we were allocated a room on the 1st floor and could hear the rumbling of the underground trains every few minutes.
Would recommend for a night or two, but not any longer

The room is really small and I booked without window which is a bad idea as I spend a few hours resting and watching movies during my 2 nights stay so it felt really uncomfortable. However it is still worth while if you appreciate using less than a min walking to Victoria Station. Probably better to book with window view.

The rooms are very small but the location is brilliant for the Train station, Tube station, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Westminster and much more. There is a friendly pub next door and lot's within walking distance. It's great value for money and we would go again.

Superb location with a walking distance to everything, low price and our room was very clean and prepared 2 hours before check-in.
Staff was very friendly and serviceminded.
The room was also very safe for our little baby who was crawling around everywhere in the room.
Fantastic hotel!!!

Yes the rooms are small. We had the double with no windows. But it was exactly what we expected and would happily stay there again. It has everything you need for a cheap stay in London. Great location too
S. S.
Very friendly and informative staff. The rooms are on the small side but do the job for a night or two.
The room was clean and the beds are comfy. The electric black out blinds and selection of channels on offer on the TV were a pleasant surprise.
By only gripe is that there is no hand soap provided in the room. There was a complimentary combined shampoo/shower gel pouch in the bathroom so we had to use that to wash our hands. However overall a great experience.

Excellent service and Really nice staff . rooms are clean and fresh , great showers.
Location is fantastic and amazing value for money can’t complain about anything .
Would highly recommend if you just need a basic room to sleep in whilst visiting London sites .
Definitely come back

Brillant location and value for money for £50 a night. Small room but can’t complain for the price as it provided everything you need. Comfy bed and barley any noise. Staff were really helpful for luggage drop off. Just wish their was more plug sockets in the room. Would return again for a small trip :)

A really excellent hotel, in a terrific location almost adjacent to Victoria Station, and within easy walking distance of Buckingham Palace Mews. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and modern, and the bar/restaurant is welcoming. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
S. K.
Rooms a bit smaller than expected, exposed restroom. But good for couple and best friends who dont care about the restrooms, afordable and best place to stay for all tourists to explore places bcs the bus tours ar like 100 meters from the hotel
M.
The location is absolutely perfect, the staff is really kind and the rooms are clean. Wish they were bigger though; would make them more value for money.

Girls in the reception were super helpful with my (very) last minute booking after my late night train was cancelled - got a room for the night, much better option than hanging out at the station until the next train 5+ hours later. Enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep, had a shower and took a later train back at 12pm - turned my return journey from a zero to a ten. Thanks so much! :)
A. S.
Smaller rooms than we expected but all amenities present and really good value for the night. Clean and tidy. Only downside was the shower. Water leaked over the whole bathroom floor.

Hotel is decent and budget friendly. Rooms are smaller than what I expected. The staff are brilliant and very friendly. Credits to the management for the wonderful frontline people. The location is handly, 5 mins walk to rail, tube and bus network. I'l be back and see them again. 👍

Decent, functional but small rooms.
Sice the pandemic they only clean up the rooms twice a week. They didn't tell us about it beforehand and you apparently can't request an additional cleaning.
A. A.
Room was very small you couldn't swing a cat in the room. For two people it was a squeeze even getting in the shower you literally had to touch the toilet to get in and out. Not very hygienic at all..otherwise a pleasant room just everything was way to small and not enough room.
I. B.
Small room the view's from my bed, cleaned bed made every day, friendly staff, it's absolutely fine when you get used to the size.
A. F.
Friendly staff, clean rooms in an excellent location. For the affordable price you couldn't ask for more!
a. m.
Great hotel in great location and great price. Only gets 4 stars because the wine and cheese happy hour is no more :( Bring it back and I'll update to 5 stars!
C. M.
Nice little hotel less than 5 mins walk to Victoria Stations. Staff are really friendly and the room was really clean. Only real negative is that the bed is pressed up against the wall so not great for space. Anyone taller than 6ft will struggle. Overall a great place and very well priced.
A. A.
Staff was lovely, but was not lucky with the placement of the room. Next to the lift..and TV was not working either. But from other hand, was not there to watch telly, but explore London.
J. S.
Mixed review. I think the hotel itself is great. It is a fantastic location, the room is clean and modern enough and the prices are extremely affordable considering the location.
I just felt the day staff and management didn't want to be there and had no customer service at all. They seemed a little miserable and were slightly rude.
W. S.
This is such a little gem of a place. Located so close to Victoria station it's ideal for anyone that wants to explore London by public transport. The staff were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything. We had an issue with the AC in the first few hours of arrival, however we was given another room nearby to relocate without even blinking an eye. We had a great chat with Isobel who was on reception at arrival and departure and was particularly impressive with her service as she came across very genuine and helpful. The rooms are simple but the service is far from simple. Such a great hotel for a short break in London. Look forward to staying again with you soon!
n. j.
great nights sleep, our room has no windows but you can have a window if you want. friendly staff happy to help
D. R.
Rooms are small but well equipped, staff is super friendly and the location is just perfect if you're travelling from or to Victoria Station. Nice pubs and restaurants and an off-licence are just around the corner. There are car parks in front of the hotel.
Would definitely go there again!

I remember writing a review for this hotel which gained over 62,000 views. I came here to visit again.
I have stayed at this hotel previously as it has the basic and essential hotel amenties as you would expect in any common hotels in any country. Should you require more, please do not hestitate to ask the reception desk (i.e. ironing board, room service, etc).
As we are still in the pandemic situation, expect to be limited services and staff and generally people booking. It is expected that there is no room service available or provide frequent service during these challenging times.
Due to the location being nearby London Victoria station and area, this should not be a concern for those intending to adventure and explore London area. However, if you are planning to stay and spend most of your time in the hotel, then I recommend buying a bulk of take-out food for convienence.
For cleanliness, as usual, the cleaners are doing deep clean. Although in this stay, I noticed a towel which had a dirt/stain that can only be seen if you shine it under a bright white light. This is not visible or clear to the human eye unless you look carefully. I recommend that the towels to be thoroughly cleaned in their cycles or ideally just remove those towel altogether. I understand the purpose of putting more towels in laundry for washing cycle but some areas are not or have not been cleaned properly leaving this stain. In other words, aged-towel should be removed.
Nevertheless, the staff are welcoming and friendly. Expect to be limited staff, new staff being trained and not many requests given to them as before. They will be at the reception desk should you need additional or further services/requests. They will respond and try their best to accomodate it.
For this stay, there were no small snack available in the room as you would expect with water, coffee or tea.
Overall, I would still stay again but I do recommend for inspection to see on the towels for full/thorough cleanliness. More so, during these challenging times. If it means saving money for a few overused towel, it is not worth to reuse, particularly in rooms where people are planning to stay. This is my experience from this stay.

Great location, great price, staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them...room was small but it didnt bother my wife and I as we were only there to sleep...We spent all the time walking around all the touristy places in london...I'd recommend Z hotel and I will definitely go there again...
I. R.
Decent price and excellent location. Feels like a Japanese hotel with the size of the rooms and facilities though.
D. c.
Very nice hotel with compact rooms and vary close to Victoria station. Only criticism is the beds are very hard.
C. L.
Small compact but really clean and pleasant. Price was reasonable
M. T.
Excellent service- we dropped our bags off 3 hours before check-in and when we returned at 5 the bags were in our room. Complimentary wine and cheese was delicious (and they didn't mind giving us a second glass!)
Room was clean, bed was a little firm but comfortable nonetheless. Only a 3 minute walk from Victoria station, which was an ideal location. Staff were very polite about our slightly late checkout. Would definitely stay again!!
B. M.
Great place
So cheap
Ideal for a day out in London
Phenomenal staff
4 stars because i was too tall for the bed Haha
S. M.
Great location next to Victoria station and coach station. Room 404 tv did not work, only had a radio channel on stuck and was only able to turn volume up and down. Smart apps are blocked and the wires were sticking out of the back wall which didn’t seem too safe
D. S.
Small rooms? Yes. The hotel and rooms look nice and clean but they are a little bit small. They put a new bottle of water in your room every morning and if you want, you can prepare a coffee or hot chocolate in your room (I love the chocolate, really good.) The location is perfect. Also from 5PM to 7PM. You can sit and drink a Wine, Cofee, Tea or a Champagne with some cheese, olives, bread, etc at no extra cost. For me that was better than a breakfast.

We arrived late after an extremely long day of sightseeing and traveling, and the front desk staff was excellent. The concierge got us checked in quite quickly and offered us a complimentary glass of wine - though we had missed the small bites offering by a few minutes. We enjoyed our wine in the lobby after dropping off our bags upstairs and found it to be well appointed, if small. The room was modern and comfortable - though small by American standards. The shower and restroom were quite nice. I was very happy with my stay and loved the convenient location to much of Belgravia.
J. C. (.
Little overpriced for what we got. Upgraded to get a window, only to get a room with a window that didn't open. Not a fan of the glass bathroom in the room. Would be fine as a solo, but not when sharing.
C. B.
Service is good. Rooms are small. Great location.
J. H.
Lovely staff, rooms nice and spacious.
M. B.
Fab wee hotel 2 mins walk from Victoria Station. Great staff, modern well equipped room. My go to hotel in this part of London.
N. w.
Nice budget hotel, slightly odd shower cubicle, but water pressure was amazing
s. a. s.
Small room, but was very clean and had everything we needed. It's near a lot of restaurants and food places, so dinner wasn't hard to get. TV in room worked very well.
The room had a shower, toilet, sink and towels - all of which, were washed.
No spider webs or anything in the room.
Breakfast was served until 11:30, and consisted of fruit, cereal, and other lovely food.
I would recommend staying here.
S. D.
Tremendous location. Can get anywhere very quickly and can also walk to Buckingham palace with ease
J.
I have stayed here many times and found it to be very clan and well run hotel.
The rooms are not that big but all I need is a comfy bed and a good breakfast.
I will say that the free cheese and wine in the evening is an awesome touch that keeps me coming back each time.
The staff are a friendly bunch and have always helped when I need it.. which isnt that often to be honest.
A. W.
Very clean and friendly bed comfortable which waz really good due to invisible disabilities which hotel was not aware of local to many points of interest enjoyable stay will book there again

We checked in during the night just for a few hours sleep between trains. The staff were very helpful and accommodating for such a last minute booking with two heavy loaded touring bicycles as well. This was a welcome suprise a small but clean and comfortable room. Thank you both for your help and kindness in the small hours at the start of a long touring trip, sorry we only got your name Aaron!
T. S.
Nice hotel and staff were very quick to resolve a small issue with the room
M. F.
We loved our stay at the Z hotel. Yes the rooms are quite small, but very well-equipped and comfortable! The beds and the showers were great and the location was amazing, only a few mins walking from Victoria station. We also loved our free cheese platter with wine every afternoon, the selection of cheeses was great !
R. B.
Rooms are small but modern and have everything you need. Perfect for a few nights. Location is great. The wine and cheese every day from 5 - 8 pm was brilliant. Staff were very friendly!
C. s.
I recently spent two fantastic nights in London, the Z hotel was a perfect place to stay. The rooms are compact but they have managed to fit everything you need into a small space. The hotel was very clean and well presented, towels changed each day. Staff were extremely helpful with someone in reception 24 hours a day. Breakfast was very nice, a selection of cereals, sourdough bread, smoked salmon, cream cheese, plenty of fresh fruit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
A. L.
My wife and I loved this little hotel! Great location for a quick stop in London. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast and the rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. We Americans live a little differently than the rest of the world. You really don't need an 800 sq. ft. hotel room, especially when you should be out sightseeing! Highly recommend
N. W.
This is a very nice hotel and more than reasonably priced for the area. The room was a bit small but since I was by myself, it was perfect for me. The staff were super friendly at check-in and during my stay. The happy hour offered was amazing! Lots of different cheeses, crackers, olives, etc. and, of course, wine; it could be a light dinner if you have a big lunch. I would definitely stay here again.
H. M.
The room was perfect- cozy as hell. Definitely one of those places where I wish I stayed longer and made the holiday experience complete.

This is one of those times when you need a fraction of a star. Really a 4.75, only losing out due to the creaky floor, because it made me feel self conscious that I would disturb my neighbours. This tiny room in a cool part of town was a great place to hang out for my first few days in London. The free wine and cheese every night didn’t hurt either! The room managed to do all of the things I’d want without being too expensive, and it was so conveniently located that it made exploring easy. Perfect for the lone traveller!
M. D. S.
Rooms are small but compact and well equipped.
Location is great and very close to the station that will get you to anywhere.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Free Wine and Cheese was a great addition and definitely worth checking before a night out.

We are staying for 4 nights from Dec 23. I find the staff are friendly, specially Martha who is very helpful assisting me to find routes to different attractions. Her heartfelt service is very impressive. The room is clean and modernly renovated. The complimentary cheese and wine provides other selections for non-alcoholic and latase intolerance guests. I definitely will stay in this hotel in my next visit.

Great rooms . Friendly staff. The cheese and wine hour fantastic !!! However breakfasts are a big let down. For the price they charge per person and you don't get a cooked breakfast???? That price should be cheaper and advertise it as continental breakfast. Saying we serve breakfast is very misleading . On that respect very disappointed. The rest is very good .
A. F.
Gorgeous hotel, lovely room, all the tiny details were perfect. Large towels, Sky TV, comfortable bed. Was informed there was no window, wasn't an issue but wasn't informed the room was so small. Very hard for two people to wash and change in. One sat on bed while one got ready. Otherwise perfect.

Lovely hotel! Brilliant location very close to the stations wether you need the underground, coach or train.
I was very happy with the hospitality and the standards. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Well definitely be visiting again ☺️

I book this last minute and I only stayed half a day as my travel plan changed all of a sudden. when you are booking you need to check if you choose a room WITH or WITHOUT window. If it is room without window, the room is abit dark and gloomy.. my room was in level B1. Size is average/small, toilet is huge compare to the room size. Room has hot chocolate water some biscuits and basic amendities. Water pressure is good. Staff is friendly there and I was adviced there is free cheese session from 5 to 8pm. I didnt get to try it but sounds like an awesome idea. Sound proof was average, I can hear it quite clearly people talking or walking up/down the corridor. Surrounding is clean and convenient with good transportation.
D. L.
Clean room, nice staff, good location, great breakfast... And the free wine and cheese (and many other things) time between 5:00 and 8:00 is a delight (delicious products, in quantity) if you have the opportunity to enjoy it.
Now the bad :
-very small room, we expected it but it's a bit too much (or in this case, too less). We struggled to find spots for our stuff (2 backpacks, no suitcase),
-no window
-bad A/C : in December the room was excessively hot, we were unable to sleep comfortably because of that. The air did not feel fresh and with the temperature at the minimum (impossible to dial a number below 19°) and the fan at the maximum the room was still too hot.
Other than that it would have been 5/5 stars. But those flaws are important...
K.
The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly.
I was a bit uneasy about booking a room with out a window! But the furnishings and comfort of the room was lovely and I'm very glad I stayed here.
Would definitely stay here again.
Also it was a brilliant touch to have the sky box with all channels and air-conditioning and complimentary drinks.

Good hotel with very helpful staff in a fantastic location. The rooms can be quite small, but they are well designed and as long as you know what to expect it's not a problem. The food is berry good and the free buffet in the evenings is not to be missed.
S. T.
Very friendly staff. Very small room, just enough for bed and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Can hear a bit of train noises, but not loud enough to be disturbing. It's an old building, but not too run down. 5 minutes walk to Victoria coach station, very convenient.
M. W.
Great price and amazing location that is well connected to London and the rest of the UK. Rooms are small but you're staying here to go out into the city. Beds are a bit harder than the American beds. Amazing free wine and cheese happy hour. Try to stay on a higher floor - can hear the tube on lower floors.
D. C.
They correctly set the expectations of their rooms, which was super helpful. The lounge and lobby area was welcoming. Wine and cheese happy hour was super relaxing. Friendly staff! Location was great (i.e. Victoria station, shopping in Westminster) I would stay here again!
C. P.
What a wonderful place to stay. It's so comfortable. The rooms are compact, spotlessly clean and have all the necessary facilities. The staff are so friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay here when visiting London again. First class.
L. C.
Very nice hotel and very nice staff. Great breakfast.
But our room was super small, had no window, and the bathroom "walls" were actually glass panes, not great when you're on the toilets and the other person can see everything...
R. J.
Lovely rooms if not a bit small but expected. Staff were nice and helpful. On the other hand the breakfast wasn't great and didn't give many options as well as the eating area being the the reception. A very odd choice and confusing at first. The only bad thing to note about the room was that due to its location we could hear the trains above and below ground almost constantly throughout the night but we were in a lower room so higher rooms may not have this issue.
A. R.
Great place to stay. The rooms are very small, but that only meant my friend and I had to keep organized and shuffle a little every day to get ready. The staff was really friendly and helped us navigate the city. I will be staying with Z whenever I visit London from now on. The train noise is not that bad. I thought it would bother me, but I never noticed it when I was sleeping and I've never lived in or been to a city with a subway.
C. W.
Nice clean modern room. Warning team work is needed to navigate around the room. We also had a steel support beam in the centre of the room. I'm sure it was meant to be the maintenance cupboard but they decided to make it a room. On the plus side the service and shower facilities were excellent. Near to the tube station and bus services.

If you're coming to London and want somewhere to stay that's close to the centre, the bus tours and at a great cost this is the place, it's ideal for tourist who just need a place to sleep while they're out doing daily activities, rooms are small but have everything you need, staff are friendly and the food is great! The only down side for me personally is the beds are a little too hard but that's just a small detail and if I'm being honest most days I was too tired to notice, highly recommended.
S. R. (.
Great modern hotel in a fantastic location with good amenities and smart but small rooms. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Coeliac thumbs down. Situated across the road from Victoria Station this is ideally placed for transport connections, especially Gatwick Express. There are a number of pubs and restaurants close by but the hotel itself has a relaxed cafe area that offers complimentary cheese and wine until 8pm. The rest of the menu is limited to snacks and sandwiches and sadly isn't coeliac friendly. The breakfast however is excellent and well worth the additional £9.50 charge. It's a continental buffet with cereals, porridge, and bacon rolls. Good coffee too. And a honey comb!
Like many modern boutique hotels that are springing up these days the rooms are small but they seem to fit everything in leaving you enough space to move around. I wouldn't want to spend any time in the room other than for sleeping, so it's lucky the cafe area is pleasant and welcoming. The shower and toilet are in a glass cubicle within the room, which feels a but weird at first, but the rooms are smart and clean and the beds are comfortable. This hotel is ideal for business trips or city breaks where you don't need to spend time in your room. I recommend it and will be back. But more gluten free options please!

*This accomodation is beauty and clean. Position of hotel is ok! The staff is nice and kindly. Singl room was a little bit small🤣 ..see yourself) but there were teepot..tee and coffee)
*Hotel è carino. Staff gentile e disponibile.

The location is good. The room is really small and in the middle of the room is a bathroom with glass walls which obviously doesn't provide any privacy all. The service is good and you get a free glass of wine every afternoon. We got the impression that there are quite a few people using the common areas so it could probably be a social aspect to this hotel.
D. M.
Very conveniently located next to Victoria Station. Room was incredibly small (perhaps 15' by 15') but contained everything I needed (except perhaps a small fridge). Complimentary cheese and wine every night was much appreciated. I wish they provided wash-cloths as part of towel service, but I made do.
A. G.

Fantastic location and friendly efficient service. Cheese and wine in the afternoon was a bonus and worth staying for. The room had everything I needed but was tiny. The Z Hotel was a perfect spot for a exploring the city for a couple of days.

Great location, close to the Grand Central Station. The food and drinks here are really great. I can really recommend this to anyone traveling to London, for business or as a Tourist! Walking distance to pretty much anything Tourists want to see while in London. Make sure to try their honey, really great! Loved it!
M.
Amazing staff, Very nice room and a comfortable nights sleep! Even got an upgraded room :). Thank you, will be coming back
S. M.
Really good for a cheap, functional room in the city. Free cheese and wine every evening is a nice touch and, actually, unlimited if you ask for more..! Conveniently situated. Internal rooms a bit surreal but quite nice.

Small room but that's how it is. In US we are used to big. Clean, nice and friendly staff. Free wine and cheese from 17:00 to 20:00
Great location! Loved it! Only stayed 1 night.

Great hotel, lovely helpful staff, service was not wanting. Clear directions to the room and what was available in terms of facilities and meal options. Room was displayed nicely and clean. More bijou than expecting but had everything you needed and the sky tv was a nice touch. Would stay again.

fantastic very good hotel clean and great staff will definitely return.

Awesome staff and great location 1 minutes away from Victoria Station underground. Room is a little small but it was comfy. The matress was a bit hard
It was worth it though. We are definitely coming back.

Absolutely impressed with this hotel. Fantastic location, amazingly friendly and lovely staff, free wifi, complimentary cheese and wine (and even a slice of pizza) before 8pm.
Highly recommended
R. L.
Great hotel. Free cheese and wine every evening, very clean and tidy. Though our room had a see through "bathroom" (shower an toilet) keep that in mind if sharing with a friend.
K. H.
A really nice place, cheese and wine at tea time is a real bonus, the only downside is the size of the room, really, really, small. The location is good, the staff are great, so if you're only staying for a night or two it's a good choice.
S. F.
Very close to the busy tube, coach and train station of Victoria! Very convenient to travel around. Nice staff with nice service. Free coffee when I was waiting for the check-in. Wifi connection was good. Room was neat and clean but small with no window.

A very comfortable, pleasant hotel with fantastically helpful staff. The location near the Victoria station with easy connections to the Gatwick airport is a big bonus. Very good breakfasts, and the famous Cheese and Wine evenings shall make your stay a pleasure. I am always happy to come back there.

Great Location. Easy walk to lots of nice restaurants and pubs in Belgravia neighbourhood. The rooms are small but good sized shower and bathroom compared to others I've seen in central London. Staff were excellent.

Smart rooms, nice reception area. Everything is a little small. Reception is cramped and my room (3rd floor) has an ensuite, is modern and clean and smart but very small. And no window! Very close to Victoria Station. Can hear the underground trains which I guess could be a problem is you're on the lower floors but doesn't bother me.
M. P.
Positives: Extremely helpful location. Beside at Trains-Underground. Very close at Buses, a lot of restaurants, bubs and a mall. Rooms has a nice modern designe, are very clean because the cleaning is daily. All these benefits at a very logical price.
Negatives:Small rooms, semi-opaque toilet glasses(walls) without soundproofing.
D. C.
The room altough is expensive and tidy, is cleaned every morning and refilled with towels, water, tea and coffee bags, shower gel and savon. I took the queen room with window and double bad. The staff is very polite and kind. I'll stay there again
M. v. l.
We had the smallest room available. For a night to sleep in, it's great. Comfortable and quiet. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Would visit again on my next trip to London.
J. H.
Stayed at Z Hotel City before and it was fantastic. The Z Hotel Victoria had similar features but my room seemed a little worn. I.e tap not fully functional, iron was leaking, a little worn here and there. Chose this brand because they offer complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings but there was no space for me so had to miss out. Window view was a block of office/apartments in a back alley.
D. K.
The hotel is very well located at 5 minutes walk from Victoria Station. Nice, clean & modern. Rooms are awefully small though, but for a short stay if you don't plan to stay at the hotel and explore London, it's perfect. We loved our stay there and would go back if we ever go back to London.
D. S.
The staff was so accommodating as I wasn't feeling well upon check in. They went above and beyond to help me feel better and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I am so grateful for their hospitality, and would highly recommend this hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and their food was delicious. Thank you, Z hotel!
V. S.
Small compact rooms with modern interior design. Good location just next to Victoria station. Complimentary cheese and wine serving every day is a bonus!!
Constant sound of tube line in ground floor but that didn't bother at all.
R. C.
There is absolutely no value for money in this hotel. And nothing is working properly in rooms. Tv shows 3 years old weather, u can’t see news - there is no signal, etc... And all the time you can hear noise from London Underground trains, because rooms are in basement. I don’t recommend this hotel. I would take it again only if there would be no other option.
A. F.
Room well equipped but tiny!! Lovely staff and very helpful. Great location. Check your room size before confirming your booking!
C. B.
Tiny but efficient room. Well located. Good atmosphere. Comfy beds and powerful shower (good hair dryer too) the offered wine and cheese after work is a bonus!
d. w.
Room was very small but clean and had everything you could need for an overnight stay. No window in the room but very efficient air conditioning. Guy on reception when we checked in was very helpful. They two girls there when we got back from the show not so.
F. C.
Nice and central with free drink and nibbles if you are a guest. Guest's visitors have to pay £17 for glass of wine and bread and cheese. Seemed friendly.
H. B.
Nice little hotel in a perfect location for early-morning trains from Victoria. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a window room; it had a weird bathroom layout which made shower water run everywhere, but that was no problem given the price.
S.
Good room, location, nice staff
H. G.
This is the 3rd Z hotel we stayed at, and it was our last favorite, but the location really was fantastic got exploring the city. We were right next to Victoria station and very close (walking distance) to Buckingham palace and St. James's park. The free cheese and wine from 5-8 is a great deal at all the Z hotels but it really saved our stomachs in London when we were out all day. The air conditioners and showers gave us a little trouble which is why it's only 4 stars, but the staff was super accommodating in regards to our concerns.
D. M.
Good inexpensive hotel but staff are absolutely what makes this hotel worth it. They answered all my questions and were very courteous. Location is great for the train station and lots of buses to different sites in the city
국.
My family spent a great time on Christmas day. We are particularly thankful to Martha who was very kind and made all efforts to accomodate our requests. The room is small but tidy, comfortable and warm in winter london. At night we could enjoy a wonderful night because of delicious wine and cheese. Thank you for your kindness and we will definitely choose this hotel at our next visit to London.
U. F.
Great for business travelers, very basic but what there is, is of very good quality. Good hot showers and a comfortable bed is really all I am looking for in these sort of places. Tiny room, though.
M. C.
Extremely well located, cross the street from Victoria station, interesting evening cheese & wine buffet, putty the rooms are very small, not very clean and the shower extremely slippery, finally the free bottle of water provided in the room was days old and smelling rotten fish, I had it changed.
K. R.
Free wine and cheese? Check, Friendly staff? Check, Fantastic location? Check, Good night's sleep? Check.
Given all these plus points, what could actually be wrong about the Z Hotel. Well, just a few things, but only minor things considering this hotel has £100 rooms and is located right near Victoria.
The first issue would be the really cold rooms. The air conditioning is on full blast and I could not work out how to actually turn it down. Although, this maybe my fault, because I had drank a lot of the free wine at this point.
Another drawback would be the lack of windows. More precisely the fact that only a few of the rooms have windows, and they are £30 more. A real case of daylight robbery!
So, all-in-all a good place to stay and even better if you are a vampire.
L. P.
Wonderful staff and a free cheese and wine bar from 5 to 7. Rooms are a bit small but with London waiting for you you'll never notice. Right across from Victoria train and tube and a short walk to Victoria Coach Station.
P. D. G.
Great spot, in front to Victoria station! I liked the idea of the free cheese and wine in the evening. The rooms are small, but that's normal in London for centric places. It was clean and quite
S. T.
This hotel is all about location. If you're going to spend a lot of time in your room, it's not for you. To use it as a base to see London, it's perfect. Victoria station right across the street and walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Although a very tiny room, the bed was ccomfortable enough and AC worked well. Very quiet on the 6th floor. Recommended.
J. H.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Although the rooms are very small. They are professionally maintained and very clean. All staff are very happy and help with anything you need. Really good stay. Thanks
T. D.
Just everything you need in London. Rooms are small and some have no window but who need this when you are in London. Perfect location near Victoria station so good connection the every where in the city. Hotel is clean with friendly staff.
A. W.
The room was very modern but very small which was fine for me but I would imagine a couple would feel claustrophobic. It was a very modern room though and a comfy bed.
P. S.
Classy hotel. Super comfortable beds. Nice touch with the wine evenings, .The shower experience is amazing (go Methven) ... but micro windowless rooms...
D. T.
The Z Hotel Victoria is located at 5 Lower Belgrave Street in City of Westminster, 0.9 miles from the centre of London.
Just 3min to Victoria Underground Station and less than 10min to Buckingham Palace
Check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 11:00
The Z Hotel Victoria offers free Wi-Fi in all 106 rooms and public areas. Other amenities including: Concierge service, No smoking, Air-conditioned, 24-hour front desk, Storage available, Disabled access, Lift, Hairdryer, Cable or satellite TV, Coffee shop
The Z Hotel Victoria does not offer free airport shuttle service, free parking service and swimming pool.
n. e.
Horrible experience. 250 pounds for a lower ground floor that "enjoy" an advantage position just below the main corridor where every one minute from 5am people were walking and carrying their trolleys. No way to sleep from that time.
p.
3 blocks from Buckingham Palace and 1 from Victoria station = perfect location. The Z offers a complimentary happy hour of cheese and wine which was perfect for the transition from day touring to going out for the evening. Everyone working there was helpful and attentive. Loved the Z!
J. J.
Tiny hotel room but with all necessities needed. Friendliest of front house staff and free cheese and wine gathering. Overall, great stay and would recommend. Great price for the location.
R. M.
Rooms are compact but modern and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and the wine and cheese selection at night was very good.
L. P.
They do a free cheese and wine board each night between 5 and 8 which is a it partyish, this together with good clean rooms, great WiFi and a good TV package + great shower make it a bit boutique at a reasonable price. I go for the rooms without windows, they are cheaper and it's usually dark when I arrive and leave so who needs windows
J. L.
The rooms are very small and no windows. However there is everything there you need. I would only stay for 1 night if I went again. Nice staff
M. E.
Fantastic location, complimentary cheese and wine. Clean, albeit slightly small rooms but you can't fault it for the brilliant price. We'll look to stay with you again.
L. L.
Careful what you ask for... We thought we'd be fine without a window, so we ended up in a cupboard on the top floor where the easiest place to move around was in the shower - and only in the shower. You need teamwork to navigate a couple through the smallest of rooms.
My girlfriend could only get a wifi signal when standing just outside the door. Handy if you want to meet the neighbours, but there's cheese and wine evenings if you want that instead.
Aside from the faint vibrations of the trains, even on the sixth floor, you do sleep well though. You can't hear the trains, and even if you're waiting for that rumble, you'll quickly forget it and sleep right through. Perhaps the best sleep we got on the trip, even with the pokey room.
Bigger rooms - I'd hope - have more plug sockets. We had one and only one. Teamwork needed to charge phone, iPad, watch, hair straighteners, hairdryer, the kettle...
Staying again is not out of the question, but isn't top of the list either.
J. S.
Great little room with all you need nothing fancy. Great location right next to the station and some great places to eat and drink. Perfect for visiting the theatres in the area too.
D. D.
Pleasantly surprised. Would be happy to try the Z hotels in other cities. Staff helpful, for a basic room very nice, coffee in room good. Location good.
S. S.
well located hotel with reasonable price, rooms itself are limited to the minimal for people who more value location and sleeping quality (or watch a bit of tv, as channels are abundant) with airco in-room.
Did not try the in-house foods as the direct area has enough pubs, restaurants and other eat-places available very closeby.
would not mind to return here later.
J. S.
Fantastic location, great onsite restaurant and very tidy rooms with an awesome staff that make you feel welcome and a part of the unique experience of staying at a hotel that is far from being boring. Second time staying and look forward to coming back again soon. Thank you Hotel Z for the great experience!
y. y.
Nice, modern hotel with very convenient location close to Victoria station. Early check-in was not possible and the doubleroom was unbelievably tiny. No wardrobe, just hanger on the door.
G. O.
Quite small room, but clean and comfortable. Good location and price. Excellent reception and warmfull free cheese and wine for 24 hours.
P. (.
Hotel was fine, but the room without windows is extremely small and therefore quite expensive in my opinion. Doable for one night, but if I would stay more than 1 night I don't think it'd go here.
B. M.
Very Small but cost effective rooms, they had free cheese and wine every afternoon and the rooms were quite new, clean and Modern. Great location to get to Buckingham palace and Soho.
J. W.
Wonderful except for the size of the room, the walls touch the bed on three sides. The location is excellent, Victoria station and tour bus stop around the corner. Good staff and pleasant little bar.
P. B.
Really conveniently located 2 minutes from Victoria tube station, great rooms and good value. I stay there about once a month and have never had anything less than a great stay.
B. T.
Modern, small rooms very centrally located. One thing that bothers me about the rooms a bit is that there are no hangers for towels and the ventilation in the tiny bathroom is non-existent. Very good breakfast.
J. K.
The free wine, cheese and meat was great. Location was convenient, close to Victoria station. However, rooms were small and could hear train rumbling.
G. S.
Location is fantastic one minute from the station. Rooms clean and tidy. Free cheese and wine in the afternoon. Bed was a little hard but clean and fresh. Airton was OK.
S.
Rooms are tiny, but if you plan to visit London and spend most of the time not in your room, they are fit for purpose. Showers are hot, beds are quite comfy, does what it needs to do.
A. O.
The hotel is very well placed, near victoria station. The staff is helpfull. We loved the glass of wine and cheese buffet. The room was clean but the bed a little small.
N. K. B.
Claustrophobic room... no window (which they repeat during the check in so you don’t complain.
Lucky I am not tall, otherwise I wouldn’t fit in the bed... which id embedded between the walls (similar to a boat room)... see picture!!
they said it’s double but there’s PHYSICALLY no space for 2 people.
Employees are really nice and helpful.
So... if you are lucky and get a room that didn’t use to be the cleaning room, it’d be a good choice since location is great!
S. R.
The Z Hotel Victoria was a lovely guest to have staying with us. She was clean and tidy, fun to talk to and respectful of our house and rules. I would welcome The Z Hotel Victoria back anytime.
o. e.
Tiny rooms, but they're neat, clean, and well organized. Unbeatable location for Gatwick entrances and exits. Super staff, good breakfast spread, great happy hour in the lobby!
R. D.
It wasn't quite was i expected 12ft x 12ft box with built in shower bathroom that when your in bed your feet touch the glass wall. Thinnest matteris I've laid on.
But ok for a one night stop over, although a little pricey
W. C.
Love this hotel. Stay here a lot when I'm in London. Rooms are modern (some might think they're a bit small). Great location for the Apollo Victoria and the Victoria Palace theatres 😀
J. K.
Near coach stations, underground, train stations. Its location is very convenience traveling to london country side. Receiption combine with restaurant's cashier, make a full use of area. Reminded no lobby and waiting sits. Select no windows room is acceptable. The room is clean and simple. One thing is no refigrator in the room.
D. A.
Between the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the incredible wine and cheese time (3 whole hours) the Z hotel made our stay in London stress free. I will be telling all my friends in the states to consider thus property!
J. N.
Ideal for 1/2 nights. Small rooms but big bath towels. Friendly staff. Good location. Quiet hotel
A.
Went as a couple for an overnight.Room compact but
had everything needed.Lovely staff. Good breakfast. Perfect location for sightseeing and Victoria stations
t.
Stylishly appointed room, all I needed for a 1 night stopover although I would have happily stay a couple of nights. Thoroughly recommended
L. G.
Avoid walking in front of their hotel to victoria tube station as there is some crimes happen always, and their cctv is not working well. Police impersonation case always there. Unless you are walking as group then is fine. Take care.
O. R.
The Air Con in the room did not work. Was there for 6 nights. Each day they would say we will have it fixed. Finally on the last night they moved us to another room.
L. V.
I'm now completely sold on the zhotel idea. Not sure I'll stay in the Victoria one again. It was super comfy but at 5ish in the morning I felt and heard every tube go past and I was on the 3rd floor
C. L.
Nice hotel. Room in suteren is micro and without window. but modern and very design. Big TV with SKyBoX. Air conditioning.
During the night sounds of trazitoru and metro. Especially the tranzitor (Zzzzzzzzzzzzz) was noisy.¨
Near to central london
M. G.
Another great stay at a Z Hotel, the first visit for us to the Victoria one.
Small but well designed rooms, good quality amenities and friendly staff.
Great atmosphere and well recommended
A. K.
Our room was upgraded and the staff were all really friendly. The room was lovely and clean, the only problem was the proximity to the railway which might annoy some.
C. J.
No nonsense. Most rooms lack windows. And beds are in awkward positions in some rooms (low ceiling over one half of bed)
Free wine and cheese though.
M. B.
Perfect for us, right next to Victoria train Station and only a short walk from Victoria Palace theatre. The rooms are something to behold, all the amenities you need in the smallest space possible but it works
A. S.
Nice hotel. Very small room with no windows. Bijoux would best describe it. Clean and tidy with a bed and shower. Would probably use again.
L. Y. T.
This place is bussin'! Respectfully. SHEEEEEEEEEEEESH 🙏
D. W.
Rooms are very small but nicely furnished, and service was great. Very close and easy to walk to Victoria Station, providing good access to public transport. Breakfast felt a bit expensive for what was served.
T. N.
Welcoming and atmosphere OK but very small 8m2 and extremely noisy rooms (ground floor to avoid completely). And don't tale a shower, you would overflowed the room !!!
G. B.
Good decent hotel, good location and very affordable when you take into consideration London accommodation prices elsewhere.
Also love the amenities such as wifi, sky sports etc
Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional
F. M.
Went for a weekend away and whilst the room was a bit on the small side can't really fault anything else. Excellent staff.
L. Š.
The room I had was small but was just what I needed to spend my last night in London. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft.
L. C.
Friendly and nice staff, good breakfast, clean, great location, very cramped rooms without windows (cca max 3x3 m the queen-size one including shower)
A.
Great service, staff always looking to help. Good location near Victoria station. The only thing that I would change is the space in the room. I knew it was going to be small though.
M. R.
The rooms were clean, the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient and the free wine and cheese spread was wonderful!
D. G.
The location of the hotel is great! Good service. Rooms are a little on the small size but overall a great hotel!
J. c.
Good functional room - did the job. Great location and friendly staff. Had free wine and cheese when we arrived.
M. C.
This is a very good hotel, very good location, very good service, nice clean and nice smiling face of the hotel staff. I will recommend all my friends take this hotel when they go to London.
R. W.
Lovely and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The only issue is the size of the room we stayed in. It was absolutely tiny.
B. T.
Location is very great , but the room is quite small if you have over one big luggage
G. B.
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The room itself was nice and clean although smaller than expected
M. R.
Tiny rooms but modern and well equipped. Make sure you get a room higher than 2nd floor, or you'll be waken by the tube at 5am.
R. H.
Friendy and helpful staff and great breakfast. Little bit "oldish" rooms and noice from neighbour-rooms.
E. &. S. T.
Great place to stay round the corner from Victoria rail and tube stations. Very clean, lovely staff, and complementary cheese and wine in the evening.
C. B.
Bedrooms very small. Had to climb over each otber
Not suitable for.der couples.
Very good.location close to tube station.
C. J.
Clean and comfortable! In walking distance to all main attractions. Free cheese and wine on arrival 😉
J. L.
Lovely cheese and wine, but reception team seem to be a bit muddled, but where very friendly. Room was a bit stuffy but comfortable. Good value for central London
S.
Cheese and wine in the evening was fantastic! Rooms were clean and functional and hotel is close to everything you need.
S. A.
Very nice and welcoming staff, very clean bedrooms and great location (opposite Victoria Station). Would definitely recommend !
M. M.
It's a lovely hotel. Modern and clean. Friendly service. Especially liked the evening wine and cheese provided.
N. C.
The right place if you visit London. I've been to this place twice and i know it is my hotel next time i visit London. Close to Victoria station and to many places. The service is good, the staff are friendly and in general it is great value for what you get.
J. N.
The room in the hotel was clean and contemporary, but small and windowless. However, convenience and price compared to other hotels in the area was a plus.
D. B.
Not a giant room but very nice, great bathroom, large TV, and friendly staff. Perfect for a solo traveler trying to save some money while visiting the city.
L. S.
Great location and quiet overall. I had one of the small inside queens which would be too small for two people but perfect for one person (especially if light packer)
C. E.
Staff were lovely and is in a great location. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!
r. r.
Nice clean rooms, staff are friendly. Complimentary cheese and wine in the evenings
B. S.
Best place to I stay in London with budget rooms. Breakfast is not free in this hotel but they offer wine in the evening which is awesome
M. W.
Staff were extremely helpful; location is central; complementary wine and cheese is a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel.
P. C.
The Z Hotel is small but it's very well situated and if you want a nice clean bed in the middle of London it's good for you.
V. E.
Excellent hotel for 1-2 nights. Everything you need in a compact package. Friendly staff, and service you would expect.
Y. C.
Very convenient location on a small street just next to the station. Clean and very quiet rooms, smiling staff, good deals. I'd choose it again.
S. T.
I love this hotel. Clean and compact. It is also very convenient. Close to the train and tube station.
B. B.
Location
M. E. B.
I can't give an honest assessment. I stayed there for 3 hours before my flight. Bathroom was great tho

My usual hotel everytime I visit London. Fab attention by all. Very well situated and the free cheese and wine in the evening always a plus.
F. C.
Free wine n cheese, nice touch! Great location for Victoria station. Sky tv an decent rooms
A. B.
Really cosy rooms but needs better sound proofing on windows at the back. Really helpful and friendly staff.
V. H.
Clean and nice. However the room I've got was a micro-size one. I would not stay there again.
M.
Clean and new. The rooms are very very small, so only suitable for short stays.. Or if that doesn't bother you.
J. A.
Hotel staff was soo nice, friendly and helpful at all times! free cheese and wine was great too, would deffo stay again
D. N.
Perfect location even though the rooms are quite small. Great if you just want to rest your head while exploring London.
l. r.
A wonderful treasure! Located in a great location! Rooms are small, but spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful.
J. F. C.
The double room was ridiculously small
J. D.
Very good prices, near everywhere, clean, new, good place, good people. Little small rooms, but big enough for 2 people.
P.
Small rooms but this was expected. Happy hours are held in a welcoming lounge with kind staff and excellent selection of snacks.
J. N.
Good and clean hotel but the rooms are just to small. Good for a person alone but not with another person.
S. H.
Positives - extremely friendly and courteous staff, complimentary drinks (although not sure how far you could push it), excellent location for Victoria train + tube station, £85 room, large tv with sky
Negatives - small, pokey rooms (we were given an upgrade after an issue with the room rate but it was still one of the smallest I've experienced.
M. T.
Great spot. . Hot water is hot water.. great view.. looking at a block of flats which is the best of seen
B. E.
Clean and well maintain free wine and cheese between 5 - 7pm was great only problem no window in my bedroom
S. L.
Cosy room and very nice hotel staff.
A. L.
Really too expensive for being a 8m2 room without any window. At least London is London and it is enjoyable staying out and going back in the room for just sleeping a bit.
D. B. O.
Nicely decorated rooms. Lots of extras. Rooms are very compact and might be a struggle if you like daylight.
M. M.
Great place to stay when visiting location. Excellent location, near Victoria station. Very helpful staff and fine(+) breakfast

Great little hotel. Small.room with no privacy but great value an pleasant staff
g. m.
Great location, good price, rooms are small but functional
N. B.
The rooms were kind of tiny but hey it's very hip and close to everything interesting. Also free wine and cheese.
M. B.
Be prepared for tiny rooms. If you need somewhere to crash for the night it's perfect. Anything beyond this and its be too cramped
V. G.
Great stay, comfortable room, amazing breakfast, definitely see You next time!
I. B.
They wouldn’t serve me a coffee @ 7am in the morning because it was “busy”. The place clearly wasn’t busy. When I challenged them about that statement a man called “Andrei” said it his choice who they choose to serve and when they serve them. Perhaps discrimination? Will NEVER EVER go back!
B. G.
Opted for a room with a window, comfortable nights sleep, excellent shower. Really close to the theatre, will stay again.
B. M.
Good location and good price
Compact sleeping accommodation
Friendly, polite and smily staff
Brekki was good and fresh continental style
Recommendable
Will defo book again

A. W.
Love this place, comfortable clean rooms. Great wine and cheese nibbles
J. D.
Very friendly staff! The facilities are very clean and kept in a very good condition. Would definitely use again 👍
J. S.
Room is small and the bathroom is glass so if you go with somebody else your sharing a room with privacy is very limited
S. W.
A room witout a window is OK for just one night. Very nice breakfast.
w. t.
Great place. So central, excellent happy hour. Right next to the Victoria line. 5 mins from euston on the under ground
