J. S.We stayed at LHA London for just under 2 years and our stay was absolutely fantastic. I have no doubt that this is entirely the work of Eva, Mariela and the wider staff at LHA London. The facilities were always clean and tidy, other residents were respectful and staff were always friendly. I can wholly recommend LHA London to anyone considering it.

R. C.Great place with friendly staff and central location. Unique as you only need to give 1 week notice to leave. Despite being in a busy location it is very quiet. Laundry room is very handy and a lot cheaper than normal launderettes. Maintenance is to high standard. There is someone on reception 24 hours a day. Highly recommended for professionals and students - tube stop is a few minutes away and bus 18 and 36 run right outside.

I especially liked the manager, who attended to our every need always with a smile and a good solution to any problem. The volunteers were very helpful and the general atmoshpere was friendly and warm. Extra points for the spotless public areas. I felt very satisfied per value for money.

T. T.I stayed in a studio for 6 months and my stay was super comfortable. Everything I needed was right in the building- gym, study room, laundry. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. The accommodation is close to Royal Oak station, well connected to the center by the Hammersmith and City line. It's also walking distance to some of the best areas of London, like Notting Hill, Hyde Park and Regents Canal. Affordable and Safe!

R. H.I am living in Torquay House for a couple of months now, really love it. The staff are very nice and helpful, cleaning is provided by every second week. The quality is very good of their service. Some rooms have pretty amazing views (above 10th floor). I definitely recommend this place for both short and long term.
M.A very nice place for a short term stay in London (I lived there for 3 months in a studio room), despite it is a bit expensive.
PROS: Well located, good isolation between rooms, warm and quite new. It has its own laundry and gym areas. People at the reception are quite nice and helpful. High speed wifi and all expenses included.
CONS: Very bad mattress, had to buy a topper (EDIT: Didn't ask at the reception to change it, it seems they would try to do it if you ask them). The shower is also a bit uncomfortable, as it is fixed to the wall. The cleaning could also be improved, as it is run by 'volunteers' and it is done every two weeks.

Y. Y.I lived in LHA Torquay House for about 9 months. I like the overall experience. It severed my needs very well - to have a house without a long term contract. The concierge is very helpful and professional. The house is kept clean and the cleaning service is every 2 weeks. The study room in second floor is also very useful to me. The location is quite nice, relatively close to Kensington Gardens and it's very close the good Chinese restaurants on Queesway. Also, it's very quiet after closing the window. I cannot ask more for such a reasonable price.

I. S.Torquay house is the perfect short term (can be a year or more!) accommodation for singles. The rooms are perfect and the building is very modern. The rent is very affordable, considering it is bang in the centre of London. The best part is, however the staff who are really generous, polite and smart. I had the opportunity to interact with Franco and Ramona and my expectations were exceeded many times. I highly recommend this place.

The building is quite new and well-maintained. The location is 5-star, we can reach any part of London in no time. Royal Oak Bayswater & Queensway tube station are just steps away, serving the circle, district, and central lines.
Other tenants living here were also pleasantly nice.. The experience of staying here was certainly one of the best hotel experience I have ever had!

T. M.I’ve been staying at Torquay House for 6 months and it has been a most enjoyable experience. The accommodation is really modern, it’s comfortable, safe and warm (unlike many British buildings). All the bills are included in the rent, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Another major advantage of Torquay House (and LHA accommodation in general) is that you don’t have to sign any long-term contracts and can thus move out anytime you need and/or want. You only need to notify the team at least one week before your departure. For me, this was very important, as at the time I moved in, I didn’t know for how long I was going to stay in London.
The only thing that worried me about Torquay House is the internet connection. At times (and this happened almost every day), the speed would become so slow that I couldn’t even load a Google start page. I don’t know the reason why this happened, but it bothered me that the connection could possibly go down during a video interview, for example. After a few minutes (sometimes longer), the normal speed would restore.
All in all, the 6 months I’ve spent at Torquay House were really enjoyable. The location is very central compared to other similar accommodations and the price is okay if you’re willing to pay for staying in your own space rather than share. Last but not least, the management and staff were very pleasant and nice to chat with throughout my stay. I’ve encouraged three of my friends looking for accommodation to choose Torquay House and they haven’t for a moment regretted doing it.

Staff really nice, always very helpful showing me everything from place of interest on the map or the place suggested to eat delicious food for any kind of taste.
The room was very clean quite good as student accomodation, also the wi fi is a lovely extra point for them it never stop and it is very fast.
Paddington is just 5 minutes walk and it is linked very well with Westminster,Piccadilly and Oxford Circus.
Thanks to everyone to make me enjoy this lovely adventure with you guys !

I hear the vacuums going on almost every day along with cleaners mopping and wiping windows so you know this place is sparkling clean. The rooms are clean and the bedding is all washed. The bathrooms are ensuite not shared and are very clean. Ive never written such a great review before but I was genuinely pleased. I 100% recommend this place!!!

Y el staff nos ha recibido desde el primer dia de la mejor forma! Eva, Mariela y todo el staff trabaja duro para solucionar cualquier problema o consulta que tengas. Nos han hecho sentir como en casa y eso no se consigue en cualquier lado.
