All the staff are very friendly and helpful Location is great! We walked to many areas of London from there... and if you don't fancy walking the tube station is so close by. Swimming pool was a lovely extra :) Executive studio is very comfortable but smaller than expected hence the 4 stars. Overall we had a fantastic stay!

Always wanted to stay here as I love the east London vibe. The design of the hotel from the website was very retro, but upon staying here these were my notes:
Upkeep of room was poor, lots of scratches around the walls and furniture.
Dirt marks on the sofa.
Kitchen poorly equipped.
Design and placement of furniture didn’t make sense.
Overall, the hotel lacked character or warmth.
Plus side, it was very affordable and the staff were very friendly.

Had an amazing staycation at Town Hall in October 2020 so I decided to treat my parents to a weekend in London for their 25th anniversary and booked them a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. I usually like to book directly to avoid unnecessary fees for the venues but the process was a bit clumsy (no email confirmation, miscommunication around availability etc).
The common areas are all beautifully decorated with original/vintage furniture and memorabilia and it’s really cool that there are loads of pictures of the incredible renovation project. The double bedroom I stayed in before was nice and bright, spacious and well taken care of. The 1 bedroom apartment (which is more expensive) is at -1 and (darker), was missing a coffee machine (the one that was brought over turned out to be broken) and had a nasty stain on the sofa.
Furthermore, the bathroom has a bizarre layout where the toilet is situated in the shower cabin of which the floor is slanted which causes the floor under the toilet seat to stay wet the whole day. They also turned out to be missing bathrobes/slippers which you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.
We decided to have breakfast on Sunday which is £18 per person. Staff wasn’t very helpful and we had to wait quite long for a table and ended up getting seated in a different room. The menu says to include a selection from the continental buffet and a choice of a cooked item but there was no buffet because it wasn’t busy enough(??). One of the “cooked items” was a big bowl of thick yoghurt and a bit of granola… Not great value for money so would definitely have breakfast elsewhere. Dinner at the Corner Room in 2020 was delicious though so worth giving a go.
The swimming pool is beautiful and definitely worth coming for, if the other issues are fixed (they were mentioned with checking out).
Overall I was quite disappointed without even staying there because I had such a good experience and wanted my parents to have the same. I really hope this weekend was just a one off bad patch..

Excellent hotel in Bethnal Green. An unexpected haven of peace in a busy location. Cool apartment style rooms with a small kitchen and a washing machine, all artfully hidden away. I was especially pleased with the staff, who were all great and super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good and the cleanliness is excellent. I'm looking forward to staying again...

The website is a bit of a nightmare to negotiate. There was also a mix up with the rooms when we got there despite the emailed confirmation. We were not alone with that experience either.
Quirky, bits of local history around the hotel and some local artists work. Good original internal architecture and fittings. Service from the reception onwards was poor despite having polite and helpful staff. For example, breakfast was OK with a good selection, but you get shown to a table with incomplete cutlery and no salt or pepper. You have to request toast as well.
The rooms were mainly clean, our room had net curtains that badly need a wash. It's the small things that get missed, like not having milk in the room to go with your tea and coffee.
It's almost there but it's not up to the prices, staff are great but no-one is keeping an eye on all the any small things that make a stay memorable.

Room looks great and its clean. I went with my wife for our mini honeymoon and my wife loved it. The only worst thing is you can't adjust your own room temperature. I asked about this and the reception told us that 25 is standard temperature for entire building. It's boiling cause I couldn't even open my windows cause it's nailed to the wall completely. It's a disappointment overall.

Really nice hotel in the heart of vibrant east London. Nice modern rooms with comfy beds and either walking showers or baths with monsoon showers. Friendly and helpful staff and a swimming pool.

Wonderful staff, from the Manager, Marzak to the whole team. Michaela and Maggie were the first people who welcomed me. I immediately knew I would love this hotel.
I wanted a different room and this was arranged as soon as possible and Marzak himself turned up with the trolley to help move my luggage. This is priceless.
The location is great - less than 10 minutes from Bethnal Green tube station and the vibrant Whitechapel is also a walking disstance away.

Considering this was ex council building, actually the town hall, it cleaned up well it looks very nice as a hotel, I have not viewed the premises but from the visitors and guests the amenities are superb dining restaurants are beautiful, it's well worth checking this lovely building out in this old traditional broughborough in tower hamlets.

A lovely property with a fantastic pool, but cracks appearing in terms of interiors, service and attention to detail.

A quite top hotel in Bethnal Green. Great for business in the area or a romantic retreat

Apart from rooms being amazing, the staff were too, couldn't have been more helpful. Marzah really went the extra mile and got us a room move that suited our needs better. He couldn't have been more helpful and always with a smile. Will definitely be back again. Da Terra was also fantastic... exceptional food and service, and we got a breakfast bag for following morning. Thank you all for making our stay so special x

Favorite Hotel in London but you guys need some snacks in the rooms. Period

I would like to say it looks awesome going into your room Take Your Breath Away, it was more like a apartment found a hotel room. Definite stay there again👍

We have just had a 3 night stay at
The Town Hall Hotel
Our Son had to have an operation and stayed with us to recover before travelling home.
The staff were very accommodating with our needs especially the team on reception, even allowing us to change to a more suitable room and taking the trouble to ask how he was.
We would recommend this friendly, quirky, interesting Hotel full of history.
This is our second stay here and although we didn’t eat here this time our past experience of breakfast here was excellent.
Thank you to everyone at the Town Hall Hotel.

Very good experience with the stuffs. With a little bit of improvement they can be better than ever

Wasn't a pleasant had few problems!! Checked in really late on saturday but the room i originally had Wasn't clean and then was moved to a smaller room. The morning the breakfast was the best and wouldn't wanna go into details as it may have been the first time. Overall stay was unpleasant but the staff and management was very helpful hence giving 3 stars otherwise if staff Wasn't helpful at all, it would've been 0 stars.
Thank you

We stayed here for our wedding night and had a wonderful experience! We were given an amazing room (103 I think) which had double height ceilings, lots of windows, a huge bath in the bedroom as well as sofa, fireplace and kitchen. Amazing! Breakfast was also thrown in which we really appreciated. The staff were all lovely too. We were really happy with everything, thank you!
J. B.
We came here for a staycation - we only live down the road! It is just straight up stunning - the architecture and interior design has retained so many original features of the building and its uses. The pool is lush, rooms are lush, staff are amazing. I am definitely getting back there as soon as I can! They did a pretty hefty NHS discount during these Covid times and it did the trick - I felt like I got a bit of luxury and a nice relaxing break 🥰
J. E.
Only disappointment, and it is quite a big one really, is it was very noisy on the rear side of the building where we stayed with delivery lorries and rubbish trucks etc very early in the morning. Pick a room on the road side if you can. No milk which is poor. Only needs those little long life capsules. No biscuits either.
Everything else was very nice. Staff were very helpful and happy.
Room was very clean and modern. Great quality facilities. Everything in our room such as music system etc. It was more like an apartment. And it's a stunning building that needs to be explored and marvelled at. It survived the blitz!
A. M.
Wonderful building. Great room (we stayed in a 2 bed suite) and really friendly staff. We'd been to a wedding the day before and the hotel arranged a later check out for us and others in our party so we could have a more relaxed Sunday breakfast. Location is 2 minutes from the central line tube station. Highly recommended.

Lovely, unique hotel. Rooms are very different and if you get a suite more like a city flat. The old town hall building makes the common areas very interesting and nice to walk through. Pool was lovely and we had a good breakfast in our room for a very reasonable £15 each (most other hotels would charge upwards of £20+). Be aware that it's located in a 'real' area of London some people may be a bit alarmed by this - but you really shouldn't be. Lots of great restaurants close by. We did Brat and Bistroteque, both of which were great. Would happily stay again!

We were in room 317 it was great and spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was good as well. Staff are polite and helped us with all our queries. The lobby and public spaces are clean and chic. Haven't tried to pool or gym so cannot comment.

This apartment was truly amazing. The first night I had an issue with the tubes, but in the end they gave us a free breakfast. Amazing bed, bathroom, covered kitchen by a sliding door. Perfect for two people! Sadly I missed the pool I just scoped online after I had left. Looking forward to next visit !!!

Our son got married at the hotel. We stayed in one of the apartments which was brilliant for hosting pre wedding preparations. We hosted a dinner in the Corner House restaurant the night before which is a delightful venue.
On the day, everything took place at the hotel and was beautifully arranged. Service was fantastic, food delicious and the day was perfect.
A. N.
It is a classic early 20th century former town hall. Wonderfully converted to a hotel. My room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a kitchen, washer/dryer as well. The staff are attentive. In addition to the excellent food offered on premise, a number of great restaurants are within walking distance.
s.
Have stayed here twice now. Rooms on the top floor are the ones to go for. Some ground floor rooms suffer from noise from the floor above. Rooms are very large and well appointed for the price.
A.
Stayed here the night before my wedding and paid for late check out so I could get ready there in the morning. Noted this on the reservation and not even a ‘congratulations’ from the reception staff. I felt they could have acknowledged it. I guess they must get it a lot and are just indifferent. Room felt small for the price and had an annoying bathroom door that didn’t shut like a normal door so wasn’t sound proof - perhaps not a place to go to for a romantic weekend away! Never understand hotels that think this kind of non-soundproof door is a good idea!
M. S.
Very nice and ambient place and very friendly staff. I like the spacious rooms with a well equipped kitchen, high quality bath amenities (First class lounge style) and fast Internet access. Food options for lunch were decent as well and the gym is small yet had all what an endurance athlete could wish for. Location is a bit off if you wanna do shopping on Oxford highstreet. But for a short commute to canary wharf it's well situated and the area feels very residential (compared to coldish mega city of docklands). Staff does a fantastic job so no reasons to not return 😊😉
A. H.
The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. I reserved a double at the reception and I believe the front desk staff member was called Javed/Javid?, He made the whole process easy and stress free- honestly the customer service he provided was industry leading! What an outstanding staff member!
For a double room in London, I found it very spacious, felt like an apartment! Completely clean and dust free too.
The bath is just great, 3 different taps, power/rainfall shower. Lovingly kept rooms and decor- you can feel the passion seeping through.
Loads of on street parking available. Excellent transport link- Bethnal Green Tube station is 4mins away.
This is a hidden gem in London and worth every penny. I have never been more in praise of a hotel until my visit here.
1 tiny improvement- maybe get a better TV model as I found it slow- not that important tbh, the room and staff certainly make up for it.
Great place to stay and excellent staff, what else can you ask for?
P.s love the water bottles and coffee machine!

If you're looking for a place to stay a while then Town Hall Hotel & Apartment is great. We had the executive room which had a cooker, microwave, washer in the room.
Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere for the conversion from Town Hall to hotel is well done. You really do get the period feel as some rooms have been kept with the original features.
Conveniently located, with tube and bus stops nearby. Would definitely want to stay here again.

We had an amazing time here - it is now in my top 5 of all hotels I've stayed in (and I have stayed in a lot). The building has been refurbished with an astonishing care, with imaginative details everywhere you look. You get a real sense of the buildings past, but also the attention and creativity that has been applied to every bit of it. On arriving we were upgraded to an apartment room which felt like a luxury flat with beautiful little touches (some especially for my birthday). We drank cocktails in the hotel bar, swum in the luxury pool, and ate a most wonderful breakfast. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you like to experience old buildings in new ways, this place is for you.

Lovely Art Deco town hall converted into a cool hotel. We stayed for a wedding and it was a great venue for that. The rooms were large and had their own small kitchen and a large bathroom. The food was great. Our only complaint was the treatment at breakfast. We called ahead and arrived 4 mins before their 10:30am cut off (quite early for a weekend to be honest). The guy treated us like it was a massive inconvenience, was unfriendly and behaved like a child. Removing our napkins as we moved to sit with our friends in the restaurant bit instead of where they placed us. Tainted what was otherwise a great experience.
S. V. (.
Exceptional rooms, very helpful staff. My room wasn't ready when I arrived but that does not detract from my rating, as the staff were very accommodating and kept me informed throughout. It gave me chance to read the "proposals" book which is an intriguing read and reveals a lot of the decisions that were (or were not) made during the refurbishment.

We held our wedding with the Town Hall. The team were amazing from the planning with Tia. Then tasting experience with Heather to refine the choices. We had great rooms - Council Chamber for ceremony & Majors for lunch (32). The Fizz & toasts in the Anti room was relaxed and fun. Service was super responsive. We had a lovely bridal suite and all the staff responded to all we needed. The 'pack up' and check out was also a seamless experience. We really are very happy with the quality of food, wine choices and everything that came together. Thank you

So I'm like 70% for Town Hall. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and laundry. All good there. But it was also loud-ish, lots of noise from outside, and not really dark enough. The staff was friendly but not overly so. And zero recognition of status. Plus they billed the entire week's stay like two days in. Not sure what that was all about. Oh, and the restaurant was not great. Satan's Whiskers across the street was really good though.
J. H.
Lovely room, superb staff and delicious food. I'd definitely stay again 👍

Very nice hotel in a beautiful building in a great location. I did have the luxury of a very spacious room with a great coffee machine. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great. It was nice that the breakfast was a la carte and they served very good coffee. The hotel is rather expensive, but most comparable hotels in the centre are. At least it is better than the average hotel because it is different as you would expect with a boutique hotel. A benefit for me is that it is very close to LCY Airport. Very convenient for a city trip.

This is a true find. We stayed here for a long weekend in September 2018. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We felt really welcome. The breakfast buffet at the corner room was excellent. The hotel even provided a cell phone for us to carry around with us so we could make international calls and use internet at no additional charge. We had a few problems with the phone but that was more an issue with the service provider rather than the hotel. The décor and ambiance is very imaginative. This is an old Town Hall building and while all the facilities in the hotel are ultra modern, they have consrved some of the old. There is a fully preserved assembly hall, and old equipment like a safe, telephone etc. are displayed tactfully. I have no doubt I would want to stay here during my next visit to London and I highly recommend it.
M. F.
A unique experience how this town hall space has been transformed. There's still the lecture hall. The hotel us in a lovely side street, culdesac. My one bedroom apartment room was spacious and super quiet, a rarity for hotels. Better than the comfort of home!
M. N.
Was in room 112, where the bins were noisily dragged out Past my window at 7am EVERY MORNING.
Also it was right next door to the upstairs kitchen & the cooking noise & smell was quite Intrusive. Great if you liked the smell of bacon tho...
I was there for 3 nights and the staff wanted to charge my credit card for postage to send back a pair of earrings I left behind also, I thought that was a bit much .
Rooms nice, just avoid the rooms that back onto the dustbins!
C. G.
Amazing old building, though the sympathetic renovation has resulted in a superb, cool atmosphere. Large comfortable airy rooms, huge bath tubs and the useful kitchenette with fridge and coffee maker. Very friendly and professional staff. An enjoyable stay, highly recommended.
B. M.
A lovely overnight stay with my partner... Wish we could've made use of the pool and gym facilities.. there was a film crew in the hall though so being an introvert I preferred to stay hidden 😳😅
S. A.
Booked them on the Marriott website so i thought they were a Marriott property. They aren't. They didnt honor early check-in for a Marriott platinum member. Apparently they are separately owned but just have some sort of points earning mechanism with Marriott. The room was good, spacious, nice little studio apartment.
T. M.
EVERYONE in the hotel had a smile on their face and was always willing to help in any way they could. Prior to and since having our children we have always found the service very good. Reception told us that they had a spare apartment suite and had decided to upgrade us and wow what an upgrade. Would return to the hotel in a heart beat.
I. F.
Lovely hotel in East London. The building is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The fresh, natural buffet breakfast and the room it’s held in add to the experience.
L. V.
We absolutely loved staying here! Staff is warm and very accomodating, the hotel and its decor left us in awe, the amenities were nothing from perfect. The pool was slightly salted instead of chlorined - it's a little spa for your skin! Do have the hotel breakfast and stay for dinner as well: pricing is extremely reasonable and superior in taste and quality. Be prepared to not want to leave once you step a foot inside!
J. B.
Outstanding service, unique design and artwork in the hallways, rooms with character, good food reasonably priced in the restaurant and convenient location minutes away from Bethnal Green tube stop. Great place to stay for vacation or work.
T. M.
We booked an appartment recently in this hotel and we were not disappointed. The concierge recommended us several good restaurants. The quality of the rooms were good and would stay there again if they ***aged to run the service element of the hotel properly and not like a bad faulty towers impression.
W. S.
This place is pretty handy for Shoreditch and made a nice change from hotels in that area. I turned up late and left early so didn’t have a chance to see the restaurant or gym but my room was massive. A ground floor suite with plenty of space and some goodies in the kitchen to keep me entertained. I’m back there for a few nights next week so look forward to seeing the rest of the setup.
R. C.
Great rooms (a great mix of understated luxury and period features) in a cool location (bethnal green).
But this place used to have incredible cocktail and food options... from Viajante to the Typing Room and the Peg + Patriot... to right now basically nothing (Corner room restaurant is decent but nothing special).
But i hear a new bar is coming so fingers crossed it's good and they get a great new restaurant where the Typing Room used to be!
G. M.
Beautiful apartment in a great location
T. M.
Booked this hotel at a friend's recommendation. We headed to Hurwendeki for lunch and walked to Columbia Flower Market on the Sunday, then on to Shoreditch High Street and Brick Lane and it was all great. Staff could not be any more gracious. A lot of value for money if you like design and a place with an edge.
S. W.
Best hotel I have stayed in for a while. Immaculate, friendly staff, fabulous room, delicious food especially vegan, great furnishings and full of character. Highly recommend.
P. A.
Great to go back. Lovely room and excellent meal in the Corner Room restaurant. Recommended.
C. J.
Lovely hotel. Breakfast was very confusing. Not our full English breakfast... Not very nice big thick pork belly for bacon, not baked beans homemade beans which were yuk. With hard bread underneath, big thick sausage no taste. 32pds. Said I didn't like it they didn't say anything.
L. B.
Big rooms with plenty of amenities. I came for a wedding and there were several major interruptions over the room's speaker system, which I hope was a one-time thing. Otherwise the event was lovely, location was convenient, and all else went over smoothly.
C. T.
We called at late-notice (10:30 on the same night after getting locked out) and were given a studio apartment for a lower cost, which was a great surprise. The building's beautiful. Set in the old Town Hall they've kept the interior very special with unusual gems (chess boards, barber chairs, and other peculiarities) dotted around the insides. From entering, with the lovely square hanging clock, to up the marble stairs where a 3D-printed chair and some painted-white plants sat, along the corridors past the old-style town hall benches and through giant glass doors, the building manages to be modern whilst keeping the most important elements of what made it special from before it changed function. The apartment was lovely. It didn't have the same quirky character but the stay was great. I fell in love with this building a bit and really enjoyed my stay, though it's the building rather than the rooms that is the selling point.
B. K.
Very stylish digs which come seemingly out of nowhere in Bethnal Green. It's only a block and a half from the tube and plenty of fun bars (which close early, sadly). The hotel was bangin when I got in - reflective of a fun wedding upstairs. The suites were large and exceedingly well equipped. I didnt even realize I had a fully stocked kitchen until i wondered why I had such a huge amount if closets... oh that's not a closet! Other than the party downstairs, the hotel was very quiet and very relaxing. Though I didnt have time for the pool, I did notice several other guests coming up from that area in good moods. Would def stay again.
I. P.
Modern and stylish hotel in a beautiful old space, with a few quirks stemming from the conversion layout.
We stayed at Town Hall as a result of a free night that I won from Starwood, and enjoyed it thoroughly. We had a large room on the top floor with stylish mid-century modern decor, a comfortable bed, and a modern glassed-in shower and bathroom. There were some oddities, though: The toilet was fully visible from the room, meaning there were some odd back-turning arrangements when using the facilities. The TV was fixed firmly to the wall facing only a single chair, meaning it was not viewable from the bed or the loveseat. The large bathtub was inside the main room rather than the bath. And the furniture in general felt a bit oddly arranged, but due to the long and narrow profile of the room it was not possible to move anything around.
Despite all this, the room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the rest of the hotel was very nice. There is a well outfitted gym in the basement next to a large indoor pool, the common areas have old but well refurbished woodwork and accents, and the in-house restaurants and bar are all very good (we tried all 3!). The 2nd floor restaurant serving breakfast is a particularly sunny and relaxing place. The staff were friendly and approachable, too.
The neighborhood is still what you would call up-and-coming, but nearby Mother Kelly's and Paradise Garage are great, and it's not far from Victoria Park and transportation via Tube or Overground. Great for a staycation - we may just come back for another.
C. C.
Nicely designed hotel. Can collect Starwood points. It has a pool. The design is simply amazing. The room I had was practical and quite large. Try the tasting menu at The Typing Room. Don't forget to also visit the Corner Room - amazing lamps. Sad that breakfast is 8 bucks and not included as an SPG member. Many things in the room are for sale so it does feel a tad cookie cutter. But minus these bits I think it's a great place to stay, near to Bethnal Green tube. I will return.
L. R.
Beautiful old building converted into a charming hotel/apartments. There is a swimming pool and two excellent restaurants. The bar at the front is also a great standard. Inside there are 3 private areas for weddings and corporate events.
R. S.
Beautiful ex-Town Hall building converted into 5* hotel, I stayed in a spacious Executive Studio which had a kitchen and washing machine, kitted out with trendy retro-Scandi furniture. Staff are attentive but not obtrusive. Only downside is lack of views in this part of East London!
R. A.
Attended the Secret Theatre Project here.
The hotel is beautiful and quirky and the staff friendly and helpful. The old council chambers and the De Montfort Suite are amazing and made a fantastic venue for the event.
Can't comment on the rooms as we did not stay the night.
H. W.
Unique hotel with an interesting history - you may recognise it from the numerous films shot there. The room was spacious, the staff friendly, and it was nice to use the pool. Easy access to the centre via Bethnal Green tube station.
K. B.
This was our first time staying at a Design Hotel. What a brilliant idea and perfectly executed design. It's the former Town Hall for Bethnal Green. Room was spacious and quirky with some mid century modern and Art Deco antiques and very comfortable.
B. R.
A fantastic alternative hotel experience. This converted building still retains its former charm. with bits of history scattered throughout the property. Offering a nice high touch with great food and a great stay.
B. R.
Awesome hotel. Very grand and oppulant and the rooms were fantastic. Restaurant serves tiny portions. I ordered BBQ ribs and only one large rib was on the plate. Felt I had to go out and get food elsewhere to fill me up
A. H.
The service was lovely also the rooms looked very neat as well on top of that there is a lovely view from the windows. I did not see any rats or anything negative. All guests looked very pleased I would definitely recommend it to you.
E. T.
Great rooms with super comfortable beds and linen. You can tell it used to be a town hall and the atmosphere is being kept alive. Quick check in, helpful staff and friendly dog in the reception area.
e. s.
Fairly nice decor in interesting style, but many of the functional things like heating and towel rail and lights had faults. The heater barely worked and was as loud as a train. Some lights and the heated towel rail did not work. Also parking close was impossible.
L. U.
Very nice hotel!! Nice beds and bathroom. However we could hear the road and speaking from the street and in our 2room apartment the kitchen/living room area was a bit spartan furnished.
M. M.
Excellent hotel in the beautiful Edwardian Grade II listed Bethnal Green Town Hall building. This is real East London and it is close enough to some hot spots (e.g. Broadway Market) to walk. I loved:
- Corner Room restaurant
- Adjoining cocktail bar
- Excellent breakfast
- Indoor swimming pool open late
- Cool mid-century furnishings and style
- Great bathroom amenities
- Located close to Hackney and Bethnal Green
A. Z.
Great service, especially from Delianna, the breakfast staff. The rooms were really nice and tidy.
The only downfall was the air-con but I think we managed to figure it out in the end
B. M.
Town hall was lovely and such a beautiful refurbished town hall. Our room was incredible, it had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast was amazing and well worth it... Dedicate enough time to make it leisurely!
j. t.
A wonderful hotel. But for 5 star it needs to do a bit more:
Aircondition public spaces and offer a lot of stuff they are charging for (razors, toothpaste) as a complimentary service.
The air system in their restaurant " the typing room" left you smelling of fried food. Not good.
M. H.
Really stylish, art deco decor. Plush fixings and artwork. The carpeted bear was a strong point. The whole hotel smells nice. The bar was however very overpriced.
T. M.
The staff were all smiles and went out of their way to make us happy. It's located within a short walk to Victoria Park and the trendy Shoreditch area. I travel all over the world staying in SPG properties and I am so glad Town Hall Hotel is apart of the SPG family.
J. B.
An extremely good option if you are travelling with family. We booked an apartment which was cery spacious, comfortable and fully equiped. The room service and reception very professional. And its at 6 stations from Oxford Circus only. I recommend it with no doubt
J. F.
Great location, lovely room, great customer service. Free parking on the road outside the hotel at weekends (if you are lucky enough to find a space). Would definitely stay again.
T. M.
Beautiful hotel in a former town hall in East London. Excellent service and comfy rooms. ***y bars and restaurants close by, and excellent for getting to Victoria Park.
M. R.
We went to the Corner Room in the Town Hall hotel for breakfast and it was great. The dining room is fantastic, has great ambiance and the food is good too. Very convenient as it is just a coup of minutes from the tube.
J. M.
We've been staying here, since it practically first opened, in Jan 2011. It's consistently great.
Elegant, luxurious rooms & apartments which are great value for money.
r. m.
Place for wedding reception and seminar or meetings. The rooms are spacious and its proximity to underground station ( Bethnal Green Station ) makes a delight for event organizers as well as participants for accessibility.
J. H.
Very beautiful venue in an unexpected location. The old fashioned decoration and art deco style suits the rest of the building. Amazing marble pillars and professional service from staff.
M. K.
Simply simple, elegant yet down to earth and amazing. From the stunning rooms to the Corner Room restaurant and bar. Best place to stay in London. Cozy, accessible and friendly.
A. V.
High quality hotel apartments with super deco and overall feeling of the hotel. Area is a bit outside of central London (Paddington for example). Breakfast was ok, but nothing amazing.
T. J.
We were at at medical reunion, Roberto and Greta delivered beyond expectations. There rest of the staff were also seen to provided an excellent job. I would totally recommend this venue.
D. W.
Great decor, large room. Free WiFi. Awesome cocktail bar, 2 great restaurants. Friendly staff. Good location with good eating and drinking options close by. Short walk to tube.
A. O.
Fabulous place! We had a great 2 bed apartment that was very large and well appointed. Well worth the money and a great place to stay.
G. S.
Really good sized rooms with great relaxed feel to the hotel. Good location for the tube/overground but very limited bars /restaurants in the area.
K. A.
Came here for dinner, drinks and for the immersive theatre experience that takes place around the hotel, The Grift. The staff were very friendly and we loved the quirky decor of the place!
R. D.
Fabulous rooms, amazingly attentive staff, just perfect. Definitely eat at the Typing Room if you stay, fantastic food. Can't rate the place highly enough!

There was a psychotic screaming at passers-by and tried to come at us shouting. For us the location was perfect: near a tube station and almost in the center of London. I'd like to think we'd stay again but it just lacked a welcome and staff who know the area to pay such a lot.
J. E.
Superb original rooms, very comfortable and a decent rate. Hotel has kept some of the original features from the town hall days which add to its atmosphere.
M. C.
Nice and friendly team to work with. This hotel is mixed well with Georgian style outside and morden Art deco furniture indise.
D. C.
The rooms are a tad stark though they are large and have nice amenities. The location is s bit out of the way if you like an active fun London.
D. H.
Roberta the restaurant manager was very horrible, rude , impatient and dismissive.
However, Michael the barman was very nice and accommodating. An absolute gem
M. A.
Friendly and helpful staff, really well thought out rooms and great facilities. Good restaurants - two of them - and a decent location.
R. B.
The only hotel I've been to where your room does not get made up unless you hang a sign on the door :-(
Far from cheap but has a nice pool & gym
Good in-room facilities
J. M.
Interesting hotel with lots of original features, the breakfast is quite pricey, even for London. The room was clean and comfortable.
Z. L.
Great rooms, lovely ambiance, pool is also a nice touch, but the fitness center is small
A. T.

Very comfortable and stylish rooms. Dinner in the Corner Room generally excellent, but completely let down by a frankly disgusting dessert.
P. S.
I was working which bring me into the hotel, it looked very nice, very posh. The room we saw was also nice but not very comfortable/cosy
N. H.

Cool fun area of London. Close to Victoria park and Regents canal for an oasis of calm in London's buzy city. The hotel building ozzes history with great design.
C. L.
We were in he Chamber room for a 2 day meeting. He room and venue were Uber jmoressive, as were the bedrooms. The service and food did not quite match up to the venue however.

Really cool new hotel in an old townhall - the decor and attention to details in the rooms makes it a very special spot, right in the middle of East London between Shoreditch and Hackney and close to public transport.
J. R.
Really cozy, great rooms for the price, nice food, but small selection
K. S.
Lovely decor but room was roasting and breakfast was continental. In England I prefer an English breakfast.

(Translated) Five stars. We got a Bella suite consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan kitchen with lounge for 4 days at a very short time through Expedia. And as far as the apartment formula was concerned, the room was tidied up every day, cups and plates were washed by the floor service.
Swimming pool and gym that can be used freely from 6 am to midnight.
Hearty breakfast buffet and the option to order a dish such as porridge, pancakes or eggs for free
Comfortable beds that are neither too soft nor too hard.
Staff very kind.

Cinque stelle.
Letti comodi ne troppo morbidi ne troppo duri.
Personale gentilissimo.

(Translated) Excellent hotel, not very central but well served by the nearby subway (less than 10 minutes on foot). It feels like home, among other things they upgraded our room giving us a splendid suite. Special features: hotel in a former Town Hall, rooms with fully equipped kitchens (there were even washing machines and dishwashers, microwaves, glass-ceramic stoves, etc.), water and fresh milk available to customers all days included in the room price. Pool not huge, but very nice, with a fully equipped gym. Breakfast more than excellent. Over-sized bed. My ten year old daughter didn't want to leave ... and so did I !!! Highly recommended!

Consigliatissimo!

(Translated) I stayed here for one night at the end of August. I booked directly and got a very low price. Before I went there, I contacted the hotel by email, and all questions were answered promptly and efficiently. The hotel is very close to the subway station. After I arrived at the store, my room was upgraded, which was really a surprise for me. I called the room service, very good, but it would be better if there were more choices on the menu. The hotel is really great and the staff is very nice. If I come to London again, I will definitely stay again.
