Had a cheerful check in with Dan Bygraves who welcomed us and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are clean and well appointed and all staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was great with good selection and constantly refilled when necessary. Would recommend and will stay here again.

Me and my partner arrived for 2 days 3 nights. The staff were very helpful throughout especially on the first day as when we got to our room after check in, we found the floor to be in poor condition with their being hair and mud and what looked like grass on the carpet as well as what can only be described as tissue after it had been left in trouser pockets and washed. We explained this and they changed our room no hesitation only to find the next rooms bathroom lightbulb was out so we had to change again however the lady on reception, Ayan was very kind and apologetic and gave us a room upgrade which was welcomed and much better and in better state. Our 2 nights were good, the bed was comfy and room was spacious and inviting and on our last day we checked out at 12 and wasn't leaving London until 18.00 and they let us keep our luggage in a ticketed secure location. We were also able to use the printer at reception because we forgot to print off tickets for something before our break. Altogether a very good experience and staff went the extra mile when they could and was needed, would definitely avoid the standard rooms though as there doesn't seem to be much care put into those as there is with the slightly better, upgraded rooms.

Didn't realize that it was a tapas style Italian restaurant. However, each dish was well prepared and presented beautifully. Most importantly tasted delicious, and a great sharing experience with friends. If you want to try something different then this place is worth checking out.

Excellent value given the central location. Nice clean room. Buffet breakfast was great, all food was nice and fresh with ample variety. Only thing I would say is, breakfast time was really busy and people were wandering around searching for tables, so maybe staggering the times would be a good idea.

Location is good. Hotel room is disappointing as there's no drawers, bathroom is small. The toilet is too near the door & to get any toilet roll off the roll. Rooms aren't cleaned unless you stay 7 days, which we weren't told about. You have to request clean towels, coffee etc, again not told about. There's a number of steps up to the hotel, which isn't good for anyone with a disability.

We were in Travelodge, Covent gardens for 2 days, 1 night for a theatre treat for granddaughter's 16th birthday. The rooms were great, accommodating for a wheelchair, very comfy bed. Food was great, decent size portions. Staff were amazing, nothing a problem. Esme was fantastic, went above and beyond to ensure everyone was ok. Thank you. We will definitely be back.
S. B.
Fantastic 2 night stay. Cleanliness, check in, room quality and every single member of staff friendly and helpful.
Haven't stayed in a travelodge for 2 yrs and they seem to have upped their game, well done to the team there

Great location for the specific theatre that we were going to. The NCP car park that we used was right next to it. So nothing to complain about, apart from the size of the room. It was a super room, but because it was on the corner of the building, it was very small and had a tiny window.

Service top!
Thank you for the lovely check-in Danny and also to anwer my questions.
And Thank you Dilip for your hospitality.
Both were very friendly and lovely!
Hotel: great place. Very close to many theaters and you can reach everything in walking distance. Perfect for a powershopping and musical weekend. Also a lot of wellnesspossibility arround! Had a deep-tissue- massage in the saloon across the hotel which was very relaxing. Also there is a nailstudio but it was not open so I can not rate that.
Room: Size was quite small but normal for London city. The room was not very well cleaned. At the doorstep of the bathroom there were some stains on the floor. The spoon in the mug was quite dirty, guess the previous guest used it for yogurt and put the dirty spoon back in the mug.
Air shaft has been covered with toilettpaper or tissues? Looks strange and chaotic.

It's hard to complain about a stay in the heart of London for just 33 GBP a night. But there is definitely some room for improvement:
- The layout of my room (714) was very weird. There's a very long desk, but almost no room to sit at. The chair would even block the entrance to the bathroom when in use. Almost no daylight, too. Fortunately, I was travelling solo and only had a 1-night stay here.
- The soap got a very weird smell and is therefor unpleasant to use
- The shampoo / shower gel was empty. Therefor I had to use the odd-smelling hand soap
- The window wouldn't close properly and therefor it became quite cold in the room
- There was an extremly loud noise from the A/C at night
I would stay again, since the overall package is okay. Just avoid room 714 whenever possible.

Great location. Easy to get to Oxford Street, Soho, China Toen, Liecester Square etc. Easy tube access to most parts of London. Hotel is clean and staff are pleasant. Good value for money (most days as prices can be a little high or random days).
B.
You really do get what you pay for. Room was okay, definitely grubby. Long wait to check in despite us being the only person there. Our main problem was with the food service, we waited over 2 hours for two curries and never got out dessert, when I asked the bar staff if they could queary how long it would be, your kitchen staff spoke to your bar staff like absolute garbage infront of customers. In the end we complained to the manager who basically said you won't be getting your dessert due to incompetent kitchen staff and offered us complimentary drinks instead. Breakfast was way too busy no where to sit. ECCO Pizza over the road was the best bit about the stay, delicious
A. B.
Fabulous location for the theatre, rooms were lovely & clean. Staff, food & service all excellent. Definitely value for money.
g. t.
Hotel was nice and central to attractions etc. Buffet breakfast was good. Bed was hard as a rock as were the pillows. Very noisy aircon but stayed in the room as it was really only for a few hours each night. Reception offered to change us to another room the next day, but I declined. Overall good value for money!

Cheap and Cheerful. A few of the bar staff are from the Caribbean and a few of their friends where enjoying themselves. It seemed like a Caribbean social club and music was for the staff rather than the customers. Asked for something different, possibly a bit more Christmas themed but was ignored. Wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.
C. L.
Room a little small but advertised as super double. Perhaps it meant bed size not room size. Other than that great experience. Breakfast had something for everyone and as much as you could eat. Recommended
N. G.
All good. Very quiet in the room. It was £38 for one night on a Sunday so I can't complain about the small things eg shampoo was finished in shower, no glasses & missing coffee sachet. Great location & helpful & friendly staff.
s. G.
Standard travelodge experience, reliable and know what to expect from them. Not much furniture in room, nowhere to put bags but loads of space in room. A kettle and coffee plus tea provided. Location was good although we did get taxi for piccadily theatre to see moulin rouge...it didn't cost much..around £7.50.
We had to get up at 2am to leave for 3am and drive to Stansted next morning so bad for us that our neighbours were youngsters who decided to throw them selves around their room and make it so difficult for us to sleep after we got back at 11pm. We didn't complain though as that would've been more hassle and a longer chance of us not sleeping although we did advice the reception in the morning obviously it was unfair as they'd had no chance to respond to our complaint.
I would recommend a travelodge any day as always know what I'm getting for my money but just be aware it's a cheaper stay so don't expect too much. We didn't have breakfast as we left too early.
K. A.
Got a superior for only appx £10 per night extra. Was worth the upgrade. Large room, comfy king size bed, waterfall shower and the girlfriend loved the waterfall shower. Small TV in comparison. Would reccomend a decent sized TV to fit the size. Nice staff and always security on hand. Literally 5 mins walk from covent garden too!
A. Z.
Central location for theatre goers and China Town. Check in easy. Staff helpful. Rooms clean. Easy to order a taxi at reception to go out . Arriving back at the hotel the bar was open and a lovely atmosphere. Great place to stay and good value.
Z. B.
Stayed in the superior rooms. You get coffee machine, iron/ironing board, TV, hairdryer, better pillows, nicely decorated, nicer shower. Covent garden really central so you can walk to alot of places, 24 hour reception, helpful staff. Would be great if they could provide luggage storage again.
E. B.
Clean, comfortable. Very friendly staff. It is basic, but a fantastic location for the price. Would struggle to find somewhere else so central for this price range.
H. C.
Perfect as an inner London stay. Close to tube, taxis available. All the staff were kind and helpful and I would definitely stay again. Rooms were exactly what you'd expect from a travelodge.
R. W.
Really good place to stay ,for our visit to a restaurant in Covent Garden, which our 2 sons booked for my wife & me as a Christmas present ,hotel and staff was great .we had a superior room which had a coffee machine, but it was broke, told reception, we went up to our room & within 5 minutes they had brought me a brand new one/unboxed it,plugged it in etc. Brilliant service. Thank you.
E. C.
Good price for a large room but the beds were a little uncomfortable and there was no bath mat when getting out of the shower which I was told you only get in a superior room- health and safety not a consideration if you pay less? They ran out of hair dryers which you have to request from reception. On the second request I was told one would be taken to our room when they got one back from a guest checking out but it never arrived. Very friendly staff and helpful.
L. H.
Great location and reasonable price for the centre of London! Good sized rooms with comfy bed and tea/coffee facilities included. Bedding was clean and towels were fluffy but the carpet in the room was grim so kept my shoes on and surfaces looked a bit dusty. Wouldn't put me off staying again because I don't spend much time in my hotel room when I'm in London
R. G.
Great location. Very nice basic hotel with good services and cafe in the lobby. The staff have been very nice. Shower works great Nice clean bathroom. The carpets in my room are filthy. You get some nice views of the city from your room.
R. O.
Good, clean room. The staff are both courteous and helpful. The breakfast is ok and being a buffet sets you up well for a busy day. The bathrooms are good although the baths are quite short. We keep going back.
P. D.
Good clean rooms with tea and a coffee machine, great comfortable sleep. The bar was good and closes at 3am. Breakfast was enjoyable. The location of this hotel will bring us back as you can walk to so many places and is spot on close to everything . The windows needed a clean on the 5th floor as it was hard to see out of but can recommend all round good hotel.

I have stayed in this Travelodge a few times. If you stay in a Travelodge you do so on the understanding your getting a budget hotel, small basic rooms that are usually clean, tidy, basic and usually relatively comfortable. Providing you book with that in mind that's usually what you get. On this occasion a couple of minor issue s with a window that wouldn't fully seal closed on the ground floor and people smoking outside meant that the smell come through. A quick chat with reception in the morning and this was sorted and this is usually all that's needed if there are issues.
My biggest issue with this chain is that you do frequently come across issues and although they are resolved by moving rooms, a very basic quality check of the rooms and some basic repairs just once in a while would prevent them and ensure a pleasant hassle free visit every time.

Booked in for 2 nights for theatre & sightseeing so spent very little time in the hotel or room. The lady on reception was humourless & unwelcoming which we overlooked due to looking forward to our awaydays. Our room (450) was dark due to being 3 different shades of grey, wish it was as appealing as the other Grey!! Bed was comfortable, linen spotless & towels clean & fluffy. The bathroom was adequate for our needs until we showered when water ran off the curtain & onto the floor (curtain did not stay within the shower tray). The bath mat very quickly became sodden & with nowhere to hang it, remained sodden until the room was serviced. The steam did not clear from the bathroom until the door to the bedroom was opened, the vent in the bathroom was not able to cope with clearing it so using the mirror was impossible especially for shaving. Luckily, another mirror is available in the bedroom but with no adequate lighting putting on make up was hit & miss. All that negativity being said, we had breakfast in the hotel on both mornings & was very surprised & happy to see an abundance of cereal, fruit, tea/coffee, juice & a lovely array of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms & beans. Everything looked & tasted fresh, constantly topped up & appetising. The dining room/bar staff were so helpful, courteous & took time to greet everyone. On the whole this hotel served its purpose to our needs for our short stay, but I wouldn't book this hotel for a longer stay.
S.
Fantastic central hotel. I stayed in room 446 which was a Super Room. The bed was really comfy and there was a chair, desk, iron/board, tea/coffee. The bathroom had a shower which was small but perfectly fine. Overall the room was clean and had everything you need. Although I would suggest nice shower gel/hand wash/shampoo in the bathroom would be beneficial.
C. W.
Great location. Room ok. Not enough coat hangers. Or storage for clothes. But we've had a great stay. Staff really friendly. Other half has sleep apneoa and plug sockets were away from the bed so his machine could be plugged in. Thankfully he is not reliant on this to sleep. Close to all the sites via tube or walking. Already booked again
j. d.
Ideal location close to Covent garden and theatre's, room was decent size and comfortable, breakfast wasn't great... Very crowded restaurant area and food wasn't great, lots of it but not cooked great
S. V.
Staying here for 5 days its our last day tomorrow, we always stay at this hotel. But on this occasion we have paid premium price £880.00 for 5 nights due to covid which i totally understand its hard to keep to a normal regime. But the room doesn't get serviced at all for stays less than 7 days which you don't get told when you make your reservation. So sleeping in dirty sheets. You have to ask for towels everyday from reception. We arrived to our super room and the was one tea bag on the tray which isn't very welcoming to say no-one will be coming in to replenish. The rooms could be serviced as normal if the staff were to wear full p.p.e as i do in my work place where service is as normal. The staff in the restaurant work really hard its a very busy restaurant. But for the price we paid for our room we are very disapointed.
T. G.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The bathroom had no soap or shower gel in the dispensers. The walls may of been made of paper as we could hear a person who dropped a ring next door and on the other side the guests 3 of them used a hair dryer. Sounded as if they were standing over our bed.
D. G.
Good location. Reasonably priced. Breakfast gets a 10/10.
Room comfy and warm.
s. r.
Great location covent Garden 4 stops from Euston to Leicester Square then walk along Long acre until you get to Drury Lane turn left and you will find it .
We use all the time clean friendly and great value
S. T.
Location was ideal, most of the staff were very pleasant. However, the hotel could use a full refurb. Carpets were gross and discoloured, the stairs leading to entrance looked like a hospital. Hotel just really lacked anything 'pretty' or visually appealing, even for a Travelodge.
T. D.
Great sized rooms, comfy beds, food was lovely and staff were friendly.
Special mention to Tanzilla who was so lovely and kind and sorted an issue out for me in the morning so efficiently :)
R. S. J.
We stayed in a super room for two nights Prices and location are good! Huge hotel with 900+ rooms the bathrooms within the rooms are very basic and small and shower curtains were terrible causing bathroom to become flooded multiple times. Hotel bar open till 3am which is good if you fancy a drink after your night out.
G. R.
It was the friendly & helpful staff that made our stay enjoyable at the Travelodge (Covent garden). From those on reception, to those who worked in the breakfast area each morning. A special mention needs to go to a guy called 'Kevin' who went beyond the call of duty in helping an elderly gentlemen sit down at breakfast, and helped him with his order as he looked to be struggling. Well done that man!
S. B.
Its ok the rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed comfy l was on the 2nd floor so l don't know what the superior rooms are like. The staff are welcoming and very friendly.
Very convenient for Covent Garden & Theaters.
S. B.
Stayed for 2 nights, usual ridiculous London prices £6 for a pint of beer in the bar, breakfast was ok, all drinks were out of vending machines, there always seemed to be one broken?, only problem we encountered was that the air con/heating in the room didn't work, they gave us an electric heater for the room that eventually warmed the room up, but these places are really just a bed on the cheap.
The bathroom interior was starting to look a little tatty but there was plenty of hot water at high pressure so you pays your money and takes your choices.
Would I stay here again? Probably not I prefer a Premier Inn, we prefer to spend our money on doing things in London rather than on where we stay.
L. p.
Stopped for 1 night. Has air-conditioning. Was nice and clean when we arrived. Allows u to leave ur case till about 6-7 pm on the night u r leaving. Bar staff and reception staff polite and helpful. Bar open till 3am. All u can eat breakfast available if wanted. Good tea/coffee supplies available for room. Extra pillows/blankets in room.
P. M.
Nice hotel. Great location. Surprisingly quiet for the location. Good food for breakfast. Nice friendly staff
s. l.
Hotel was fine, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE NCP CAR PARK RECOMMENDED BY TRAVELODGE. My car was broken into and looking at the reviews on NCP which I didn’t think to look at there’s lots of cars being broken into via smashing of windows.
R. J.
Very comfy bed and room. Toilet seat was only just attached!!! How did the cleaner miss that? Oh, as,easily as the hairs on the bathroom floor from previous guests!!! Cleanliness 2/5
M. B.
Clean room , good air con had coffee and tea
Would say the steps are very steep to entrance however there is a ramp to the side of the hotel. And the electronic cards don't work very well . For the price it was pleasant.
H. F.
Located close to the hub of Covent Garden and The British Museum. This is a busy busy travelodge with lots of guests and occasional queues to get assistance. It’s pretty noisy but other than that just a standard travelodge. There is a proper bar area which doubles up as the breakfast area in the morning. I didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment.
n. b.
Great hotel. Great location 👌 clean room. Friendly staff. Great value breakfast..
R. “.
Love it's location, not far from Holborn station aswell. And Has a great baggage drop off system, also had great customer service, if you have any issues they'll try there hardest to find a solution for it.
A. P.
It's a Travelodge at the end of the day but nice and clean with friendly staff and perfectly placed for the theatres being at the end of Shaftesbury Avenue . We had a faulty coffee machine when we checked in but a quick ask at reception and it was sorted immediately
E. P.
This place was great, the room was a nice size. Our room was clean and topped up when needed. The unlimited breakfast had a huge variety which was great for us. The service is great, staff are friendly and a great place to stay!!
S. S.
Great central location next to Holborn tube station. Close enough to centre to also walk. Clean and tidy hotel. Staff very helpful. Our room wasn't ready, staff offered a free drink and snacks at the bar.
H. N.
Very Central location and convenient to get to, also dinning options around the area are absolutely brilliant. All types of cuisines available at a short walk. The hotel room was clean and supplies sufficient.
S. S.
Omg 😲 there pizzas 🍕 are amazing. So very tasty, would 100% recommend them. The rooms are nice also and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The area is nice close to everything 👌 I stay here everything I visit London
J. W.
Basic accommodation but it does the job. Excellent restaurant and the bar is open late. The location is perfect for exploring Covent Garden. If you're arriving via the underground with luggage I'd suggest using Holborn station rather than covent garden station.
Y. N.
Central to shops at Covent Gardens. Have to pay more money if you arrive early!! Room freezing but housekeeping staff did put a heater in the room straight away.
M. W.
I couldn’t find anything to complain about, superb location, clean, comfy bed and super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again if in Covent Garden
K. M.
Very clean throughout. Comfortable, quiet room. Good bar and restaurant. Perfect location. The staff very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.
G. T.
The place was very clean . Rooms were spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and continually cleaning. So impressed I booked an extra nights stay.
C. H.
Love this hotel location amazing. Good breakfast. Clean and adequate for long w.e. short breaks. Have used before and will use again.
m. g.
Room 257 small and dark, tiny bathroom, no bath only shower. Higher floor rooms probably better. Breakfast good. Photo is the view.
l. c.
Hard to find on Google maps. Would be better if they called it Travelodge, Drury Lane. Good room, bed and bathroom. No fruit at all available for breakfast on Monday.
C. P.
Clean but tired looking rooms but it more than served its purpose being close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Excellent friendly staff and would definitely use again
L. O.
One of the best Travelodges that I've stayed in. Super Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Reception staff were welcoming and the bar staff were friendly
C. C.
The staff were great, the beds comfy, breakfast 😋 and good evening meals and not far from where i needed to go, all in all great
M. M.
When we arrived, we had concerns because the hotel didn't appear very inviting. However inside the hotel was clean, bright and staff were polite and helpful
T. C.
Nice clean and tidy hotel and room but avoid the UG Level says quiet floor but it overlooked the service area which was noisy from about 05:30
J. W.
Really good stay, staff are amazing ,lovely clean room special mention to Bar staff Hierian &Caz could not have done anymore for us so welcoming
G. H.
Booked the superior room. Lol ....very basic. Staff were rude apart from the Eastern European lady on the bar....top employee.
A. K.
Functional and busy hotel ideally situated in centre of Covent Garden. No frills but delivers the basics well at reasonable price.
S. H.
Is it what it is! clean safe place to stay in Theatre land, 5 mins Covent Garden. We've stayed here last 10 years.
S. M.
Hi, we always stay at Dury Lane after theatre, always very clean and comfortable also nice staff. Thank you.
N. W.
Was clean breakfast was average thought some staff was rude specially when we went to check out
We paid for a superior room and there was nothing superior about it
We got extra plug sockets...wow
K. S.
Clean and as you would expect a travelodge. The staff were great especially the gent behind the bar
A.
Big name,Large hotel center of London =Enjoy high service & Hide quality + Price is good for everyone
Absolutely recommend 👌👍
J. A.
Stayed here a few times this year and staff are fantastic and very helpful. Rooms are good and location is perfect. Worth looking for the cheap deals as London is worth a visit anytime.
L. C.
Very clean , one problem the shower curtain not a fan found I flooded the bathroom, great location for various theatre's and Covent Garden
N. W.
Had a great stay! Dan and Lord Dan couldn't have been more friendly and helpful 😊
A. W.
Great place to stay Staff friendly value for money and easy access to lots of London for sight seeing.
A. C.
Nice clean room in an ideal location. No thrills but what else do you need.
P. P.
For the money it was ok, Shame they do not have somebody cleaning the stairs outside as numerous cigarette butts on the floor as you walk up the stairs does not give the greatest of impressions.
Biggest gripe would be having to pay for the wifi after 30 minutes free have expired.
Thankfully i did not need it.
R. S.
The staff was nice the breakfast was good the room was excellent all together it was excellent
K. S.
air con not the greatest in a very warm room, walls are paper thin and had stained carpets but comfy beds and a good base for a night and they allow you to keave your bags there for the day after you check out. location was great, didnt try the restaurant or breakfast.
R. E.
Staff were amazing very welcoming, in particular Kevin, another member of the breakfast team- a lady with short brown hair and lady on reception who i belive has only recently started working for travelodge. All are absolute assests to travelodge. Thank you for making our little girlie trip perfect! From the starwars girls, we'll see u all very soon :)
G. G.
Clean room but could do with an update. Lovely staff and the hotel is in a fantastic location.
D. E.
Decent Travelodge. Clean rooms, lovely staff, great location. I recommend using the NCP Pay Pass app, and the NCP carpark in Parker Mews (round the corner). £10 for 24 hours parking. The disabled parking on the road are very difficult to access.
V. K.
We received excellent customer service here! Nothing was too much for the staff during our stay. We were very comfortable and found the prices very cheap for central London
P. S.
Nice and close to amenities close to oxford street clean book on advanced for bargin stay
C. P.
Check in is a bit unorganised. 2 ways in and one on front desk 1on side deck. But the location is great, next to two car parks. Rooms are good for a sleep and a brush up. Really like this hotel
J. G.
Staff are very helpful and resolved a problem I had with my room by quickly upgrading me to another at a moment's notice. Breakfast was of reasonable quality with friendly front of house staff.
S. K.
A budget hotel on the edge of London's theatre land. You get a basic comfortable room for a reasonable price. Check in gets busy but other than that highly recommended
J. W.
Room accessible large good shower very busy eng v Scotland match great value breakfast, ramps at back of the hotel (3) a bit of a struggle for wife pot noodles in kettle not good cleaning, sorted quickly. Bad on covid people without masks nothing said by staff helpful front desk, very cheap for a great location would book again
H. C.
Great place to stay, affordable, comfortable, great night sleep, dark & quiet room, good shower and in a fantastic location, within walking distance of Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Chinatown and Thames
P. W.
Bit tired, carpets have had a lot of staining, coffee maker doesn't work. Staff helpful though which makes a huge difference.
S. W.
Location was good, staff were great friendly helpful, room was great nice and spacious and breakfast was fantastic, cooked to perfection so tasty but I had to give 3 stars because the towels in the room had been laundered however not checked and had dreadfully stains and made me feel disgusting was such a bad ending to a great stay :( I did notify staff they were apologetic and helpful and gave me clean towel for my second shower to clean off the gross essence, but the damage was done .
B. t. k.
Clean room comfy beds.breakfast was nice.defo recommend
M. C.
Excellent breakfast.
Let us check in early
Rooms a bit shabby but clean
R. W.
We stayed in room 817 which was large, clean and comfortable. We also had great views from the room. The bed was very comfortable.
L. P.
Amazing. Kids under 15 eat free with amazing LOVELY food. The worse thing is possible the WiFi prices.
J. S.
Good basic, clean hotel just around the corner from the Royal Opera, and it has a late bar! It was perfect for me!
e. b.
Shower drain blocked with hair and debris flooded bathroom no toilet brush only one hand towel other wise comfortable
S. K.
Room not as requested. Otherwise reasonably priced and central
M. J.
Air conditioned room, very friendly staff who helped us put away our bikes, good location and good value. The rooms are also very comfortable for the price, are well kept and are a reasonable size.
S. B.
Nice friendly/ helpful staff and reasonable prices. Great place to stay for a night at the theatre or Covent garden.
S. S.
Hotel with just basic facilities. Breakfast lacks variety and repetitive. No complimentary wi-fi, drinking water or bath essentials in room. No easy access paths to take in luggage in if you checking in during unsocial hours (had to carry luggage via stairs). Wi-Fi costs £3 per day. Water, drinks and snacks available at in-house vending machines. Many channels of the Freeview television did not work. There are many eating places around including Dominos and Sainsbury. Definite plus points are speedy check in and checkout, friendly staff, prime location, luggage storage, enough towels, good hot water shower and spacious rooms with in room ironing facilities. However I stayed for nine nights (they have two buildings, I stayed at the one facing High Holborn) and don't think got the value for money.
A. E.
Great stay, only slight issue of waiting to check in and to be served at the bar but the staff were efficient and friendly, just seemed a bit stretched, room was clean and beds were comfortable, would definitely stay again 👍🏻
A. S.
Such a lovely place to stay. And so close and convenient to most places in london with the underground not far away.
Staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended.
M. H.
Excellent location. Very clean. Perfectly functional room. Suited all my needs. If you want The Savoy, then stay there and pay their prices.
S. K.
Very clean and relaxeing good night sleep x
R. J.
New to Holborn, I work on the other side of London and wanted to explore this part. Really enjoyed
S. T.
Great room and clean, the staff were very helpful as well. However, even though the air conditioning was great, especially during a heatwave...the air conditioning unit was very noisy!
N. S.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Room was nice, comfortable bed, aircon, could change boxed breakfast to cooked if you wanted to. Room available from 3pm, and check out at midday. Just round the corner from all the resterants. Right in covent garden. Would stay here again.
R. O.
Great location. No frills but clean rooms and friendly staff... cheap and cheerful!
m. h.
Great place to stay lovely staff good value
S. S.
Stayed here because of its cost proximity to language test center.
Online booking is recommended.
The receptionist told me that no walk ins allowed.
The main door closes at 10pm-6am. So you better be back before 10. Reception is open 24hrs.
M. M.
Friendly staff, very helpful, clean and comfy room. Nice and quiet too and a very fair price too.
A. P.
Great value for money, it turned out that the place where I needed to go it was even closer than I expected!
Comfortable, quite cheap and..should we talk about the Lavazza Espresso coffee machine?! Amazing!
N. J.
Typical contemporary chain hotel. Rooms were comfortable clean and reasonably spacious, with air conditioning and a small TV. Lifts are available to the upper floors. The bathroom was a bit dated and there were several scorch marks from an iron in the bedroom carpet. Food from the restaurant/bar was surprisingly tasty. The reception staff were very pleasant.
P. A.
Cheaper than others, not the best but is fine for weekend stay
T. D.
Perfect location, great staff, nice rooms

Great value for the location. A clean and tidy hotel, very convenient for Covent Garden.
C. W.
Great location, clean friendly, you know what to expect with Travel Lodge.
P. D.
Good price, great location, good size clean room with everything you could need. Would use again
d. l.
Fantastic location stayed here twice but very noisy on this visit.
H. C.
Visited for 3rd time. Love the location. Buffet style breakfast is lush. Staff are very friendly.
R. B.
Good clean and friendly staff. Room refreshments where good. Breakfast lovely ❤️
A. W.
Warm, friendly and clean. Booked to stay again end of October
A. P.
Perfect location, clean room and friendly staff.
G. M.
Great location. Clean room- great central base for getting around
P. “. S. B.
Good, clean comfortable & great location. If you use a wheelchair access is via a very steep ramp round the side street. It needs a handrail as it will be too steep for many people without a helper. Once inside staff were very helpful.
R. N.
Good location air conditioning in room was very noisy shower not very good water pressure was low but managed to get to sleep ok. Staff were very good
I. M.
Excellent location.
Poor service
Horrible pillows
Superior rooms have a TINY bathroom.
No cleaning of the rooms etc apparently due to 'covid'
S. B.
There’s actually two different buildings making up this hotel, so if you pick the wrong reception you may find yourself having to walk round the corner to actually find your room. The check in from the High Holborn reception was fine though, with friendly and quick staff willing to make conversation. The family room on the 5th floor was quite large and spacious, but best of all clean and silent throughout the day and night. As you expect with the chain there was an open wardrobe area and shelves, but the desk was large and the beds comfortable as ever.
There is a small dining area and bar on the ground floor next to reception. Its fair to say that neither area has any real atmosphere, nor is particularly comfortable, but at least the bar is open fairly late.
As a cheap option in the centre of the city it works fine and I had no real complaints.
M. E.
Very central location, good price but not the every room has large windows. With in the price range the best option. Paid for two nights £ 119 (monday-tuesday)
P. S.
Well placed, clean with very helpful staff.
P. R.
A nice welcome and pleasant room with comfy bed. Liquid soap in room is useless - didn't enable me to wash my hands properly. Food at breakfast was ok but not very hot, drinks machines ridiculously slow. It was extremely convenient for the School or Rock at the Gillian Lynne so worth coming back to if I wanted one the theatres nearby. It's a cheap place to stay so good value.
i.
My go to place when happy houring in London on a Sunday. usually around £40 a night, 5 mins from Covent Garden. it's no hilton but great for the price and convenience!
P. G.
Used to be a Moat House hotel. Excellent location so close to Covent Garden with adequate rooms, nice bar and facilities and sometimes some really good deals on price
A. O.
Super clean room, super comfortable bed. Price very good considering central London. The staff are friendly.
D. P.
Helpful staff.Good location. Good clean rooms, great value for money.
G. H.
It’s a travelodge, but cleaner and everything worked!
All the staff were lovely.
P. H.
Yes really had a good time staff was brilliant and helpful which made you feel relaxed will try go back in October
C. O.
Bit of a depressing building from the outside but the reception area is welcoming. Room was a good size with a couple of chairs and desk. The ceilings were also high. The furnishings were pleasant enough however the bathroom left a lot to be desired despite being clean. The bed was reasonably comfy although not up the standard of Premier Inn. The room itself was quite warm despite having air conditioning turned on low.
t. j.
Smallest travelodge room I have ever stayed in however due to location good value for money.
Issues: could clearly smell cannabis during the evening and morning as I walked pass ground floor rooms. Also appeared to me that youths loitering near reception area were watching guests and looking for an opportunity to follow them in as they (guests) used key cards to gain access to room areas.
A. H.
Overall a great base at a great price ideally situated for all of Central London.
c. h.
Room great, staff lovely. Great lication
G. “. S.
Nice and easy, clean rooms, great staff... Couldn't be more helpful.. Good showers!!
D. H.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel gave us easy access to London. The unlimited breakfast was fabulous value. The beds were comfortable and clean but the actual room could have been a bit cleaner. I would stay there again as it was value for money.
A. S.
Great hotel, great location and fantastic value for money. Already planning our next trip here.
S. D.
Great stay here with late bar..... until 3am
J. W.
OK hotel, very convenient in walking distance of most things
J.
Room was ok, very small but had everything we needed. Toilet did not flush very well, one of the windows didn't open. Was clean and neat tho. Breakfast was nice in the morning with fried breakfast, cereals, fruits and croissants, lots of choice and nice layout. Bar was nice and was still open after our evening out, but quite pricey. Staff very friendly.
E. S.
Good attentive staff. Standard rooms are small but very modern and neat. Sleep and shower. Very good breakfast. Has a 2 hour happy hour at reasonable rates. Only platter finger food in the evening but plenty of pubs around for a substantial meal. Great location
B.
I stayed in a single room for my short holiday. The single room is good for short stays as I don't think I could stay in a small room like that for a whole week. The room itself is very well kept and I was pleasantly greeted with fresh towels and a made bed after my days out. Would definitely recommend although a few faults would be that the staff management is a bit low as I had to wait a while at the bar and it took a while for my mother to get hold of 1 hairdryer. Other than that, perfect hotel.
M. C.
Friendly staff ,clean room a pleasant stay.
Will definitely be coming again
Thanks
R. K.
Unfortunately had not the best experience, my window was broken and couldn't close it. Receptionist gave me last available room - that's what she said - located on ground floor, street side. Nightmare, especially with this open window. No TV's remote controller. A/C faulty. It was cold night and air conditioning set up on 26° or max heat still blew freezing cold air. Location is perfect but no parking for vans. Opposite the hotel there is multi storey parking for cars.
R. R.
Definitely my go to place
Wifi could have been free as we pay 30£ per night
The cleanliness is outstanding and the ambiance is perfect
And the utilities are enough for the stay
Over all a good place to stay
And ya the view in the 8 floor and 9th floor are amazing 🤩
G. M. H.
The location is the good part of this hotel. The staff are pleasant enough but as we only stayed one night there wasn't much interaction. As said before it is a basic hotel, it's a Travelodge that needs updating. We were in a family room so in a separate block down the road. All three lifts in our block had gaffa tape holding something together. The duvet cover had such big holes in that the duvet kept poking out no matter how much we tried to move it around. It wasn't clean either, notably the layer of black grime on the hinge of the bathroom door was quite noticeable.
R. J.
Good location! Wasn't very clean
N. M.
Location was excellently placed but very noisy. Car alarms and drunken people could be heard around midnight, making it hard to sleep. Breakfast is good but depending on time of day can be very busy. Rooms are okay, beds are uncomfortable but otherwise fine. Bathroom needs slight repair, silicone appeared to be peeling off in certain sections. Overall, a good hotel with nice views but note the location in noisy at times, so if you're a light sleeper you might struggle to get sleep.
B. N. M.
Brilliant staff. Excellent value. Lovely breakfast! Very comfy bed! Clean and well laid out bedroom. Fluffy towels and a nice shower. What more do you need! Oh yes, sorry! Great location! 10 out of ten guys! Perfect!!!
D. L.
Was ok for what we paid, rooms dated air conditioning was noisy. Not a bad location either.
C.
The hotel is good for what it is, the rooms have everything that you need although it does look very worn and lacking in vibrancy and colour. But, you get what you pay for so in that sense, it's good. If you're seeing a show at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, this is absolutely ideal as it's such a short walk.
M. M.
Clearly, a lot of money had been spent trying to reinvigorate the reception/bar/dining areas but the rest of the hotel is still stuck in the 1980s and desperate for renovation. The rooms are cold unless you employ the services of the incredibly noisy air con/heating system and the bathrooms are not good at all. Definitely not quite worth the price; better can be had for the same amount, maybe slightly less. Has potential but requires investment. Staff are friendly enough.
D. S.
I was on business and had one of the better rooms. Great location and not too expensive for London, but the little things matter and attention to detail is important. No soap in dispensers and the coffee machine was broken. Bed was comfortable and I liked the different pillows (firm and soft). The drink and snacks machines also did not work on a card.
A. C.
Look,
It is what it is a Travelodge, but it is bang in the middle of Covent Garden and all it has to offer.
Just watch what you are paying for a room because they are very basic.
J. T.
We had stayed here before and liked it, so when we planned our trip with the grandchildren we immediately booked. What we didn't know was the hotel has two parts, one being round the corner and over the road, what would have been nice would have been if we were told that's the part we were staying in so we could have gone
Directly to it. Also the place you can leave your luggage is in the other side so its a bit if a trek all told. Great location so close to Covent garden
B. L.
Comfy bed, well priced, really good food and the staff very friendly, the barman is really polite and helpful
G. O.
Cheap and cheerful accommodation in excellent location.
We've stayed in London a few times and this is certainly one of the better areas. Easy access to most of what you need to see in London.
If you can try and get a room or one of the upper floors as some of the views across London are spectacular.
The restaurant is particularly good although the serving staff didn't seem too happy to be there. The reception staff however were brilliant - cheerful and nothing was too much trouble.
G.
Great location, fantastic value for money for Covent Garden Great customer service. Lost 1 star only because breakfast was a bit ropey and finish in rooms slightly shabby. Overall I was delighted with 2 night stay.
S. M. C.
Does was it says on the tin! Rooms were clean and spacious for London. Food was good and hot. Just, our experience, was a few drunks on the night (might be the area) made us feel a little uneasy and were loud late at night.
No actual problems or issues though.
Y. E.
The hotel is very basic. Clean, nice bed, an ok size of room for two and a bit too small shower. There's no heat in the bathroom. The location of the hotel is perfect in every sense. Close to almost everything you want, and if you need public transportation, it is minutes away from major underground stations and buses. If you just need a place to sleep in and you're planning on spending most of your time outside in gorgeous London, this is a good option. Great location at a very good price.
M. M.
Check in quick and easy. Although once in our room someone else tried to get in. They was told the same room number. This is not the 1st time this has happened at this travelodge. Last time we ended up in someone elses room while they were having a shower. Awkward 😬
A. T.
The best part of my stay was Reception. Lovely lady who checked me into the hotel felt genuinely welcoming. The first room I was given had a loud whistling aircon unit, after returning to reception I was given another room, but the carpets in that room were visibly stained and marked, so another trip to reception, who was again very apologetic and I was given a third room. So I could have easily given one or two stars here, but reception were so good, i am giving 4! Just goes to staff how reception can turn things around if they handle issues professionally. Thanks for a lovely stay.
S. M.
Clean tidy helpful staff not far from the underground 🚇
P. C.
I have stayed a few times in this basic hotel close to Covent Garden and it doesn't disappoint. It is clean, comfy and has a good location. And the staff are friendly and helpful.
On the other hand, it does not offer free wifi, breakfast is quite pricey for what it is and needs a bit of a style refresh. But all i all it is a good place to stay.
L. S.
So the location is good for shops, restaurants and bars. It's fairly quiet given it's not on a busy street for traffic. The rooms vary with some being well used but generally fine, breakfast is standard travelodge fare, it's fine.
M. S.
Very pleasant stay at this Travelodge. It was a great price and location. We had a family room and all the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast started an hour late which was a pain with small children but it was very tasty and there was a good selection to choose from. Would definitely recommend to others.
f.
Good value budget hotel in London. Rooms are compact and are good cleanliness wise. Room had air con. Major issue is check in. With 640 rooms, and only two people checking people in, with no self check-in machines working is unacceptable. No appology or notice to explain reasons why this is the case. At 1530 - 1909 there were over 50 people waiting all the time to check in.
L. T.
Building looks old from the outside however the location is great. We booked a standard rooms for 3 nights however after the first night we were told to move to another room as the whole floor is being renovated. This wasn’t told to us when we checked in so we had unpacked everything out. After negotiating with the reception we were given the super room at no additional cost. The Super room is really great, very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Next time we’d definitely come back and book the Super room!
s. r.
Nice staff food perfect location rooms Nice thanks
G. H.
Very nice budget hotel, couldn't be more central for all the West End.
M. H.
The closest to Covent Garden and only £30 for the night , really made the made weekend away
H. C.
I've stayed in a fair few Travelodge hotels and was rather disappointed with this one. My room was as far away from everywhere as possible, was a twin room with disabled accessibility. I'm not sure how a disabled person would access the building as both entrances are served with steps - I didn't see any obvious disabled access.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I found the staff to be a bit closed off - there wasn't the usual cheery smile and cheerful greeting. Perhaps they were having an off day.
C. M.
Very good value! Be sure to upgrade to the superior room. Possibly the best deal in London. The room was a tad small but still clean and functional. All in all, a great location, plus a nice bar with good prices.
A. B.
OK experience. Had stayed here before but this time was not so good. Our room's air conditioning unit sounded like a toilet refilling - all night even if we switched it off! The bathroom fan didn't work which meant you were in a steam fog after taking a shower. The breakfast was OK but the fruit juices were horrible and the coffee needs coffee adding!
A. O.
Looks good on the outside but rooms were dated. The towels weren't great. On the plus side, as soon as we complained about the towels, they replaced them, no questions asked. Perhaps their new super rooms are better, I don't know. We had their standard room.
N. F.
Great location, just 10min walk to Picadilly Circus. Staff were welcoming and professional. I had a double room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Air-conditioning worked well if a little noisy. Bathroom was nothing special but functional with the exception of the toilet which didn't flush so well. Good value at £139.
r. w.
Couldn't fault this hotel, the staff were all helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy. It was ideally located to get to a lot of the attractions. Breakfast was good, it was busy but always found a table. Some of the upper floors had some great views over London. Would certainly use again.
D. C.
Room very clean, in fact immaculate. It had clearly recently been refurbished to a high standard. Plenty of USB charging points and electrical sockets. Bathroom/toilet was very cleverly put together with clean continuous surfaces everywhere. Only gripe was that the soap dispensers didn't work! Bed very comfortable.
C. D.
Fantastic reasonably priced hotel from which you can explore the capital. Usual Travel lodge comfort as you would expect. The unlimited breakfast is great however go early as it gets very busy at 9am and you may have to walk from the other venue a short distance on Holborn Road. A short walk from Leicester Square, Covent Garden, all the shows of the west end and great for tube links. Best not to drive get the train and tube. Good value for money.
J. R.
The hotel was spotlessly clean, breakfast was a very good selection and plenty of it.
Had to make a complaint though as all through the night there was very loud noises coming from what I can only explain as dodgy plumbing. The noise sounded like a ship or foghorn. Worst nights sleep ever . Apparently lots of people had also complained. Reception were very good and offered to make it up to us.
D. H.
The bar is ok. The breakfast is what you'd expect from a budget hotel. The location is perfect. The staff are great.
However.
The rooms are tired and give your skin that little sense that you need to scrub yourself when you leave. The left-luggage room is an open air sectioned off area of a concrete underpass. If you want authentic London sounds as you try to sleep, you've got them all night. Loudly.
I've stayed in worse, it's not horrible (it's better than it used to be!), but you won't go sight seeing with a joyful spring in your step, more a feeling of regret that you didn't pay the £5 extra and stay at the Premier Hub two minutes walk away.
K. B.
Very comfortable sleep in a great position in the Covent Garden area. Good price for heart of London. Had everything we needed in the room and food is available also in this hotel. Lots to see and do in the area around the hotel. Many shops, boutiques, theatres, restaurants, pubs, quaint little streets. Can walk right through to Trafalgar Square and on to Westminster too.
J.
Only paid £50 for a Sunday to Monday stay in April so can't complain as really your paying for somewhere to rest your head which it does and central walking distance from the main London hub. Beds are clean and comfortable the rooms as a little worn and can get chilly but was only for the time I stayed for. We stopped in the other building across the road and the view on the 13 floor was cool but windows could do with a clean.
C. L.
Okay for what it was. VERY basic hotel. Not well ventilated. Shampoo/soap comes out of soap dispenser attached to the wall. Breakfast food was not cooked well and it’s so hot in the restaurant it’s uncomfortable. Close to a Marks and Spenser. Tesco Express is right next door, which is very handy. Other restaurant choices in the evening are a bit bleak. Staff was very friendly!
T. C.
Staff were wonderful, how about putting some draws in the rooms to put clothes in.
C. S.
Stayed here for 4 nights in August. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had a super room which was clean and comfy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble.
W. E.
Fine, nice clean and the staff very helpful.
Reasonable rates too..
D. C.
It's a budget hotel so don't expect anything special. Overall good value for money and a great location better when all theaters are open.
G. H.
Clean and tidy, food and drink reasonably priced for its location.
K. M.
3rd or 4 th visit to this hotel. First time we have had such a small room. No glasses in bathroom for a drink. Not even a box of tissues in the room. Room is very clean but you now have to request the room is cleaned as opposed to the traditional scenario. Bar staff are a delight and deserve a raise they work so hard. Reception staff are polite.
J. P.
Regularly stay at this hotel. Excellent location. Extremely consistent basic quality at reasonable prices. Many large rooms although size varies, all rooms are quite adequate, en suite, with comfortable beds. Wifi is not included but cheap, although cuts out. Standard checkout midday and reasonable prices to extend it.
T. W.
Have visited on two occasions at different sides of the hotel. Both rooms were fine and well adapted to suit covid requirements.
T. B.
So a super room is what you would expect in any standard room in any hotel. However the price is reasonable for a room in this part of London. It serves a purpose.
If you like nice food I definitely do not recommend the breakfast. Salty sausages, powdered eggs and strangely watery bacon.. even after paying for it I won't eat it again tomorrow.
S. R.
Ok so this hotel is budget and is reflected in price and so many niggles with the room, ie the tap was almost hanging off in our bathroom!!! And the carpet in our room didnt look like it had been hoovered in months!!!! However....we have never stayed in a Travelodge with THE BEST STAFF EVER!!! So good at breakfast time!!! Very accommodating!! On the ball, fast,
efficient, hard working team memebers!!! It was my husbands 60th birthday and we didnt tell them, but they spotted us sat in the restaurant holding a balloon with 60 on it, and they came over with a cake selection and wished him happy birthday, we thought that was a genuine lovely touch!! Big shout out to those lovely hard-working staff!!
M. B.
Surprisingly good spot. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. Great value on the price, given how prime the location is. An easy walk to everything I wanted to see in the city. I was nervous choosing a "budget" hotel, but very happy with the results.
L.
Stayed in one of their "super" rooms. The room was very clean and well decorated. Very comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Had a great night's sleep. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay here again.
S. P.
Great central place for lots of attractions in London. It has a small eating area but you can use the other Travelodge which is over the road!
Room was clean and adequate for a weekend break. Ask at reception if you need a hairdryer and check the cupboard for tea/coffee facilities.
l. j.
Good location, breakfast above average - overall value for money
A. I.
We were in the annex building. Peaceful night's sleep. Quiet location for central London. Very well placed for visiting many tourist sites. Clean room. Comfortable beds. We had a family room which was surprisingly spacious. Good value for money.
N. A.
We stayed here as a base for seeing parts of London. Quite a good area to stay in.
In terms of the Travel Lodge... its a Travel Lodge. That's not a bad thing, but you stay in one you stayed in them all.
The Restaurant was a bit pricey, and although only one machine in the Kitchen was working that night, the poor Barman did a great job of Running the Bar, Cooking and Serving Food, and also help new quest check in. Yes there were other staff but they seemed more interested in finding ways of not have to do work. I cannot remember the chaps name but he was South American and a real nice guy. An Asset to the company.
Breakfast again much like a Travel Lodge only it was an all you can eat, and a different experience to the night before. The night before it was just us a family of 9, in the morning the whole world appeared. Get in early or risk waiting. It could just have been down to the time of year.
The other nice little Secret of this place is if you go to the very top its a great view of the London skyline.
And there is also a room 11 with a posh door unlike the others. Kind of has a sense of mystery.... or its where they keep the Henry Hoovers.
R. 1.
Well located and the staff was very friendly.
The only 2 negative points were the shower drain that didn't work properly and we didn't have our room cleaned for 2 days (even leaving the notice on the door before 8am asking for it to be done). We complaint at the reception and still not sorting it out.
C. E.
Good location, bed not as comfy as other Travelodge hotels, no soap in sink dispenser for two days, tea bags not replaced and happy hour was a waste of time, I wanted a beer and my wife wanted a wine but you're not allowed to do that! What's that all about? Lounge bar smelt of vomit so didn't go near the bar/restaurant during this stay. I'm sure its been/will be better, just not when we stayed. The quick check in screens at the front wasted our time, we went through all the steps only to go through them all over again with the person at reception, there is no point in them being there if they don't work. I wish I'd paid a little more and stayed elsewhere this time. On a positive, the room was nice and warm.
H. J.
Generally what you expect from a Travelodge, check-in process was quick and easy and was greeted by a friendly member of staff.
Lifts seem a bit dated and were quite slow and showed the wrong floor numbers when I visited.
Room was very clean and tidy and provided basic amenities. Wi-Fi is available at additional charge which I had and worked perfectly fine.
Also had the breakfast which was a buffet of hot and cold food although I felt for the price it wasn't particularly worth it and expected a greater choice (Particularly the fruit was rather limited).
A. H.
Brilliant location the theatre, drinks and eatery's. Have stayed here a number of times. Breakfast was okay about what you would expect from a buffet.
Bar area great with good choice of drinks and atmosphere. We were there late into the evening. Will definitely stay again.
a. b.
Helpful staff. Well appointed room. Bar and restrurant.
M.
Decent basic room at good location.
It's 14 minutes walk from the Soho and 24 minutes to London eye so in terms of location it is fairly good .
Room is basic. No mini bar , no A/C .no phone. They do supply WiFi package for two devices (actually two MAC addresses) which is good.
Room has rj45 socket but it is not working .
Prepare to see carpet stains here and there, spot of mold in bath corners but on the other hand sheets and towels are clean.
Although I paid months in advance the check-in process took 22 minutes. I was the only one in reception at the time. They were locating a room and preparing it. Offered complementary drinks on the house.
N. A.
One of the biggest, if not the biggest travelodge in the UK. This is not at the detriment of service, because I think this place was great! The staff are very welcoming, the breakfast was good and the rooms are cosy enough. There was a lady named Robyn at the desk who went above and beyond to help me print out tickets for an event I had to attend. A Scottish lady at the bar who’s name I didn’t get, but she was also very friendly. The place itself is centrally located. Ideal for travellers and business personnel alike. Thanks very much, I’d definitely stay here again.
g.
Cheap for central London and Cheerful, we were at a gig and only needed a room for the night. Room was clean, check in easy( got in an hour early), staff were helpful and friendly. Great location for Soho.
m. w.
The hotel is ideally situated for exploring London, & west end shows.
Was offered a twin room instead of a double, when one became available, but decided to stay in are room. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Can't comment on the food as we never ate in the restaurant . Staff helpful and friendly.
S. C.
Apart from the room not being ready on time and the breakfast being a bit old this is a lovely hotel. I would come back as it exceeded my expectations, the beds were very comfortable. The sinks were a little low but I think that is because it was a room made accessible for a wheelchair. 100% would return to this hotel, and I plan to.
S. S.
Comfy bed, clean room and cheaper than the Premier Inn Hub I usually stay in. Could not, for the life of me, get the coffee pod machine to heat up! Dirty windows and limited telly choices (only terrestrial and not all had signal). Good location, staff friendly.
P. E.
Good beds in a spacious family room, but the fan in the bathroom was not working leaving it full of steam. Food OK at breakfast time though somewhat basic, but the restaurant is too small for peak traffic and the self service area gets congested. Most staff are friendly but reception staff are often slow, seeming to prefer staying in the back room. One lift not working so congestion at busy times. Great location for access to London and the Covent Garden area.
R. B.
Good location. Not far from the cavern and you can walk to the port and all attractions. Nice rooms with the basics and clean. Don't take the breakfeast. It's too expensive and not very good. The food is dry and tasteless. There are many little shops around that serves it at lower price.
M. J.
A superb location in the midst of the theatre district. I have stayed here on a couple of occasions and on each visit the staff have been excellent and the rooms always clean. It is superb that the rooms are air conditioned and are generously sized for a central London location.
There are about 15 steps to reception which isnt great if you have heavy cases but i did see the team helping elderly customers who were struggling.
The breakfasts are pretty decent and there was a drinks 'Happy Hour' promotion between 4 and 6 which is good to utilise before heading off for your evening out.
S. R.
Brilliant location, walking distance to bars, restaurants and theatres. Very reasonable room rates when booking in advance. 3pm check in is a bit late but early check in is available at a cost of £10. Room was adequate and spacious enough. No outside noise but noise from other neighbouring rooms could be heard. Had the lighter/continental breakfast and that was enough for us with fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereal, toast and croissants. Would definitely recommend it!
A. O.
The room was roomy and clean but also a bit cold and sterile. We had to pay extra for the wifi which was slow and kept lagging. On the other hand the staff was very helpful and kind and the location is excellent considering its affordability.
M. W.
Can't fault the service here. Clean towels and sheets daily. Room was tidy and very comfy, complete lack of phone signal in the room was annoying but nothing they can do. Food at the bar was reasonable and didn't have any problems. Great location! Exceptional for a budget hotel
T. C.
Staff helpful which is good due to many downfalls. Cleaning team appear to be blind water stains and short curly hairs in the shower pod room. Awoken early by a drunk trying to get into our room. Just got back to sleep when awoken again by paramedics speaking to this semi aware person. This was okay but their radios were full volume! This was about 5:00 on Sunday morning 👍. So back to the room. A carpet cleaner would not go amiss, bring something for your feet!! 🤮. Did not want to eat here.
D. A.
We stayed in order to visit the British Museum which is very close. The reception staff were friendly and efficient and ensured family members had rooms close to us. Rooms were clean, good size and adequate for a short stay - little storage other than five hangers. No shelf in shower so had to use product provided. Breakfast plentiful and reasonable quality. Bar food in evening was OK, available and cheap for London. A decent budget hotel with no frills.
M. C.
The hotel is split into 2 buildings and the signage to point you to the other building is not obvious if you need to go there. The staff on the main reception desk don't always give clear directions to the rooms - we wandered around for a few minutes trying to figure out where to go whilst others in our party who served after us were given quite clear directions. Also, all of the twin rooms requested were doubles with 2 single beds so we had to move these being this was an all-boys trip. Thought the rooms were a decent size & fairly well appointed, and were nice and warm which gave us a nice respite from the windchill outside.
A. c.
Room was grand, same as any other room we've had at Travelodge. Clean, spacious and warm. I've rated it 3 because they check in and out and staff where awful. Was checking in with one lady, she then walked away and another lady handed me our key card. I had to ask what room and where, no one told us about breakfast or anything. Staff on the desk where not professional at all even leaving they shouted what number as we left as she's forgot. Doorway to the lifts isn't big enough and each time it was a waiting game to who came out or in. As I said the room was fine though.

Staff were excellent and so friendly. Room and facilities were immaculate and all you need for a short stay in London. Would definitely stay there again. We did have to queue for a while in order to check in but I’m not sure how this could be helped as it was a weekend and everyone has the same check in time.

Near to all attractions, 5 Minute walk to tube.Good self service breakfast .There are 2 buildings to this Travelodge , on opposite sides of road. Ensure you do not have room next to cleaner's broom cupboard....really noisy in morning from 06:00am , doors slamming etc ...ask for different room or check before you book , otherwise no complaints.

Perfect location for staying in the midst of everything.

The hotel itself is fine - clean, rooms recently refurbished so tidy and comfortable. Service from staff was great. It gets three stars as unfortunately it was incredibly noisy due to nearby building works which went late into the night and started early in the morning - a bad night's sleep!

Great location, comfortable and clean, great that you can check our and still leave your luggage there Uruk your heading home
All staff really friendly, but found one member of bar staff to be really rude and abrupt with residents def needs to head back to charm school. I would of been offended if it was just me who she was short with but having observed her being rude to a handful of customers I just found her amusing! But I’m afraid she has lost you 2 stars in this review

Brilliant location and area, the best was the Drury 188-189 Cafe right across the hotel which served the best breakfast and coffees we had in London - our daughter is vegan and she said this place had the best ever vegan cake she ever had. I would highly recommend this Hotel and will definitely come back just to eat at Drury 188-189 again

I stayed here from 21st December until 23rd and had no problems whatsoever. I found this hotel to be clean and well equipped for what you need..the bed was so comfy and the pillows were fab..had a great night sleep. The shower was great aswell. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a perfect location (once we found our bearings in daylight) I was so surprised at how close everything really is once you find your way around..you could easily walk everywhere but the tube station is just 2 minutes down the road.I had a very pleasant stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I come back to London.
W. F.
Very friendly very convenient for trips to the theatre food is very good and very reasonably priced
K. R.
A good hotel, I would book again. The staff were friendly, the facilities very good, it loses a star because breakfast, though plentiful, was a bit tired by 0830am. Comfy and clean and very good value for London. Sound insulation in the room is excellent.
M. G.
Love the location of the Covent Garden "High Holborn" Travelodge.
The Disabled Accessible rooms are a brilliant size, really spacious(unlike the Drury lane travelodge)
Staff at High Holborn are so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was super. We really enjoy the breakfasts. The cooked food selection is high quality and always hot. The Breakfast staff are amazing. The whole area is kept really clean as are the tables. The cutlery and condiment boxes are always full. I have never experienced anything like the level of service that these folk achieve. They are always smiling even under such pressure.
Our stay was brilliant and will definitely go back there.
Reception staff were great, helping us with directions and ordering taxis.
Well done to all at "High Holborn " Travelodge.
D. I.
Adequate rooms. Noisy position. No air conditioning. Not a completely slick reception process with some apparently disinterested staff but some delightful too. Premises tired. Super food. You get what you pay for. Competitively priced for very central London!
B. D.
Whilst the outside is some concrete monstrosity inside it is clean and tidy with helpful staff. The rooms are basic but adequate as a place to sleep. Good location though noisy at night as the windows don't block out all the noise.
A. V.
Can't really fault the hotel. The breakfast was ideal. The location is perfect and the staff are very helpful. A special thanks to Caroline for helping out her Scottish pals. A 5 minute walk to the subway and a 15 minute walk to most of the main areas. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The rooms are perfect for a fairly budget hotel... It's certainly not the Ritz so I don't understand how people can leave a bad review for the price of the stay.
A. E.
Staff were friendly. Bedroom had no plugs by the bed and despite having the heating on all night the room never felt warm, but bed was comfy. Bathroom was tatty and the motion-sensor light went out whilst I was in the shower and I nearly fell out of the bath trying to get out in the dark. There are better Travelodge's in London than this one.
H. M.
Good place to stay. Bed comfy and big. Air conditioning (I was there in the heatwave). Walk in shower. Room not big, but adequate. Milk etc can be restock in lobby. No biscuits. Liquid soap, shower and hairwash come in wall mounted dispensers.
L. P.
The staff were really friendly and my room was very clean with modern deco.Bed was very comfy...also best location ever !!...
Full English breakfast and children eat free big bonus ...
A. G.
Basic, no frills but slept well, had quiet room, comfy bed, bath as requested. All you need really. Staff the true stars all very helpful and efficient. Breakfast lots of choice, good value. Overall great location and price.

Fantastic travel Lodge that is well situated near London travel links. The hotel its self has cheerful staff who are always happy to help. The facility is in the hotel are excellent, bag storage, bar, 24 menu, and a fantastic breakfast selection. I was only there for on overnight stay but was really happy with the stay and would definitely stay there again.
E. R.
Great location. Very friendly staff, Renee was extremely helpful and friendly.
Excellent value breakfast, we didn't try other food. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Super comfy beds.
We have stayed here several times and can highly recommend it.
S. S.
Really nice hotel, we stayed in a super room! Was definitely worth the upgrade!
J. M.
Hotel isn't bad but since it is a budget hotel don't expect too much. WIFI is not free and will cost £3 for every 24 hours. The rooms were clean but I wish there was a plug socket by the bed. Closest one is by the desk. Location is decent with a fantastic cafe across the street.
K. T.
Centrally located in Drury Lane, many theatres, shops are easily assessable within a few minutes. Covent Garden tube is a five minute walk away.
The hotel is of a good standard with some upgraded rooms available at a slightly extra cost. Breakfast is very good , with a nice selection of hit and cold dishes, this is available at a reasonable price.
The rooms have everything required for a short stay and are very comfortable.
Electronic cards gain entry to the hotel late night, and also let you into your room. Plenty of lifts, with machine check in if you are in a hurry.
A good, clean place to stay , with friendly staff.
J. A.
Lovely service & comfortable room. Shower wasn't that good at all (pulsed rather than a steady stream), and water glasses would have been nice instead of flimsy plastic cups. We arrived early and early check in would have been £10 - a little rich!
C. O.
Pretty good room. Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Location is very handy in Covent Garden. The only negative thing was that luxuries such as a hairdryer are not in the room, although they were available from reception with friendly staff.
J. H.
Good standard of comfort and cleanliness. Some of the rooms here are underground so if you aren't comfortable with that do check before booking.
Also some of the buildings are less accessible but it's not too inconvenient.
P. S.
Nicely situated for theatre land rooms very good food except able will be back cheers
G. S.
Stayed for 2 nights in November and had a fab time. Our room was clean and spacious with everything we needed, the lady on the front desk was very polite and friendly and helpful when we asked about taxis, late check-outs etc. The hotel was conveniently placed only a short walk from 3 underground stops and only an £8 taxi ride from Euston Station. Would definitely stay here again.
S. m.
Great location for hotel. Clean rooms. Not bad value for location. 24hr food at the bar. Not sure about breakfast as we didn't have breakfast here. Nice a close to the shops and theatres . It's the 2nd time we have stayed here . Rooms are kitted out with tea making facilities and soap/shower gel. There is a tv also in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
D. C.
We had a lovely time whilst we stayed at travel lodge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very tidy and looked after, would definitely recommend having air con as it makes a huge difference. The only things that I thought would make my stay at travel lodge better would be that the rooms needed would be a hairdryer or an iron.
S. T.
Very convenient location to all the sights. Check in staff was a bit terse but otherwise positive experience. My son was impressed by the extra roll of toilet paper in the super room. Room was on the small side but quite comfortable.
M. M.
stayed at this travel lodge from 24 August to 27 August and had a lovely stay. My friend booked two rooms in January for 4 people, however, when we arrived we were put on different floors, not a problem for us. The staff were so apologetic. We wanted twin bedrooms and were surprised to see how small the beds were, I believe 2' 6" wide. However the mattresses and the pillows were excellent. The breakfast was excellent value for money, will definitely stay here again. Thank you Travelodge for a lovely weekend.
A. W.
Very nice staff and very clean room definitely go again
S. M.
Fantadtic stay. Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Room decor a little tired but considering the turn over was to be expected. Beds very comfy, extra pillows on request, clean bedding and towels. Ironing board and iron, fans in room, hairdryers available at reception, tea, coffee & kettle in room. We could have done with a fridge but thats a personal choice.
S.
Stayed for two nights, room only, brilliant location , only ten minute walk to covent garden and theatre land, you don't have to eat here, there are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants in the area. It was very clean, and functional. Great value for such a good location. They serve pizza till four am, good bar, what more do you want from a value hotel.
S. J.
I gave this brance 3 stars as, despite the face it's in a fantastic location and the staff were utterly wonderdul and pleasant, the standards of the rooms themselves were... Somewhat questionable! My boyfriend and I were on the 11th floor and the views were incredible, however the windows were so dirty it hindered the the experience somewhat. I even stuck my hand out with a towel and cleaned a portion of it and the difference was quite staggering! Our room was a nice, spacious one and although the location of it was nice and 'out the way' (the room was just to the side of the lifts) the door was right in a little nook with a very dim light, we often had to use the light of our phone screens to see where we were putting the keycard! Speaking of our room, which was nice and clean, we stayed here during a mini heatwave in June 2018 and as I said before, we were on the 11th floor and the room had no air-con whatsoever... This was the biggest problem for me, during the morning/early afternoon, the sun faced directly into our room turing it into a furnace and the only way to combat the heat was a little fan which could only be plugged into the far side of the room as there were no plugs around the bed, and a useless tactic of closing the curtains which helped very little, but Travelodge seem to think it's a great solution....... If the simply installed air-con and cleaned the windows, I would have given this place 5* but the rooms just need proper investment and a ruddy good clean on the outside!
H. T.
This travel lodge is a good value for money and close to theatre district.
Disabled access is limited. Most doors are heavy wooded and not automatically opened. A physically disabled person would need a carer to open doors. Good wet room and toilet combo.
Bed was ok for comfort, but much to low. Staff are friendly and professional in actions.
P. T.
It's okay... If I stayed again I wouldn't bother booking the super room or breakfast.. The shower was very disappointing. Breakfast was badly organised and food lukewarm.
The bar staff weren't great... I heard a lady ask for a shandy, which caused bemusement amongst the staff, the lady had to explain what it was. And when I asked for a coffee, the bartender didn't bother to replace the espresso with fresh coffee, they served me a wishy-washy drink which I didn't except and asked them to start again... I would go back but I would just book a standard room and no breakfast... Ps there is a lovely cafe straight opposite that charge half the price for breakfast.

Room was clean. Bathroom is in need of updating, shower was was nice and hot with good pressure. Alot of noise from traffic outside. Felt very welcomed and always greated with a smile.
f.
Went downstairs to ask for a hair dryer (they don’t provide them in the rooms) and got told they had run out! Bit ridiculous for such a big hotel not to have enough hair dryers for their customers.
Besides that it was alright, best thing about it is it’s location.
A. R.
Quick, easy accommodation at a great price. You get a great bed, TV, hot drink facilities and a shower for a price no other hotel can match. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and it is always clean
J. D.
An OK, no frills hotel. Clean and functional, perfect for a business trip or a short stay. The self check-in process is fast and efficient. The breakfast is bland and boring - i would not personally bother... and one major -ve is the lack of luggage storage facilities in case you have a late flight you can't keep luggage stored at the hotel.
J. A. V. D.
I stayed in this hotel for 6 days and I was delighted. I enjoyed a really good time here for a very cheap price. It was great because I was in central london and really close to so many stores and underground stations. My only problem was related to the sink pipes from the bathroom because they weren't working properly. Another minor thing is that the housekeeping woman didn't pay much attention to my "keep out" sign from my door, she tried to enter my room even when the sign was hanging on the door outside.
I would recommend this hotel very much and if I come back to London, I will book again here.
M. G.
Clean . Functional.. pleasant helpful staff.
M. M.
Great room for the price and awesome central location.
S. L.
Room 101 (old building) is ridiculously small and there was a load of dirty glasses and cups left outside the door. The bin hadn't been changed and there was no bin bag in the bathroom. TV wasn't working properly also and the air conditioning was so loud that it actually woke me up when it came back on in the early hours of the morning... Staff were not particularly helpful when I asked them about breakfast and for directions. Seemed like they couldn't be bothered to talk to me! The convenient location was probably the only plus...
D. C.
This place gets a lot of terrible reviews on Tripadvisor, but I stayed here for several days, and I really couldn't see anything wrong with it. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The location couldn't be more central and the street is quiet. It is a perfect place for a stay in London.
K. H.
The hotel is one of the better from the chain, modern, and relatively fresh looking. The food was acceptable, as was the room. However, I did have a random alarm go off in my room twice in the night for no apparent reason.
b. h.
Brilliant staff could not do enough for you
M. V.
The room was quite, clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Location was perfect for many theatre and restaurants near Covent Gardens. Wish I'd booked for breakfast instead of trying a small cafe just outside the front entrance.
K. P.
Hotel is decent clean but limited in many facilities, food is crap we did b&b, we lived on toast. But the location is AMAZING! Everything nearby 10 mins walk to Trafalgar square, Piccadilly, everything is so close to the hotel, which is the main thing! But the beds were comfortable and clean. So overall the hotel was excellent in terms of location and the facilities were limited but, to be truthful it was more then enough, at the end of the day you need a bed with a bathroom.
J. G.
Good place to stay few nights.
They have baggage storage.
Our room was a little noisy because of the elevator. Building is old
You have to pay for the Wi-fi (Bad)
O. R.
Clean and enjoyable stay for two nights with very nice breakfast buffet. Negatives are the poor quality baggage store and the early morning fire alarm we experience, probably a little sensitive to shower steam.
C. C.
Economy hotel, with the key essentials of comfortable firm beds, quality pillows and sheets, clean rooms. Very well situated for a short walk from two tubes stations, good selection of affordable rooms.
J. H.
Fantastic staff very friendly service with a smile which you don't often see these days, Judy at reception is amazing, rooms basic but clean plenty of teabags milk etc so you can have more than one cup of tea. Beds very comfortable. We will be definitely staying at this travelodge again. Mr & Mrs Healy.
T. L.
Rooms are dated and could be a little cleaner. Food is "okay". The staff are very good. Excellent location near Convent Garden, Theaters, Trafalgar Square and the tube. Across the street there is an excellent comedy club called "Top Secret Comedy Club" and it is only £2 / person. Ziziz is nearby (excellent pizza) and Rock and Sole Plaice is nearby and they have amazing fish&chips.
J. X.
Economy hotel, with the key essentials of comfortable firm beds, quality pillows and sheets, clean rooms. Very well situated for a short walk from two tubes stations, good selection of affordable rooms.
L. P.
Excellent staff. Room very comfortable but a bit of street noise, even 11 floors up. Very nice and reasonably priced bar food. Great location. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again
A. N.
Great budget hotel. Clean and comfortable. Pleasant professional staff. Good facilities. Very, very minor bits of tiredness and a bit of noise from the road outside at night, but great for the price and extremely central for Covent Garden, Soho, Embankment etc.
T. R.
The location is great right in the centre of the city only a 3-5 minute walk from covent garden itself. The rooms are standard travel lodge fare so you know what to expect, relatively basic but always a good nights sleep with a comfy bed and clean room and bathroom. Views of the city can be good if you're high up and the soundproofing is good enough that your sleep shouldn't be disturbed by the sounds of the city.
Would recommend if you want to get to the heart of the city for one or two nights on a budget or if travelling on business.
D. M.
Great budget hotel.
We stayed in a small family room which was fine for the three of us.
Rooms are typical travelodge which are clean and functional.
We had breakfast and there was a good choice of food which was replenished frequently and was very tasty.
Hotel is in a good location with a 10 minute walk to covent garden or Leicester Square.
We would definitely return next time we visit London as hotel the is good value for money.
A. R.
Location is brilliant . Rooms are cheap. Place was under renovation so it's a work in progress . Managed to snag a decent room for last minute for 55 quid on a Saturday enabling us to see a show and leave in the morning . Cant go wrong really . Close tube links
M. P.
General impression was okay for a place in this price category. There were some nagging details like the tap water at first smelling like chlorine, burn marks on the lamp shades and the room door that rattled with each door being opened or closed on the hallway.
The bed was very comfortable, however, and the place was clean. Considering the location one could do a lot worse.
R. C.
Good location, easy access however room was very small and there was only a cool setting on the aircon so room was always cold. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Only fault was the aircon in the room and the bathroom mirror was exceptionally high, as a small person I could only just see myself in the mirror.
J. W.
Friendly helpful staff, good location on Drury Lane. A Travelodge chain hotel. So more suited to a business traveller or someone sightseeing on a budget who does not need a grand hotel or boutique hotel experience to be part of their trip. I would certainly stay there again. Rooms were quite, everything worked and it was a pleasant stroll to my meeting near Waterloo station in the morning.
A. P.
We stayed at this hotel on a theatre break, it's not really Covernt garden and not easy 0lace to find.
Quick check-in and an upgraded room, the room was quite small and hard to see what you got for the extra cost, slightly up graded bathroom, bigger TV and a poor coffee machine.
Had a drink in the bar area, expensive and took 30 to produce some chips.
Over priced and you get the same as standard at premier inns.
l. h.
Basic. One lift out of three working. But bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Did the job for a central London hotel but could be a bit cheaper to reflect basic nature
m. k.
Nice clean rooms service ok Close to attractions
F. &. S. T.
The stars are for the location and staff. Its clean and the staff are lovely, but it's very poorly designed. Not suitable for those with mobility issues as there's a load of steep stairs to climb to get in, which is even rough for those who have no mobility issues if they're carrying luggage. There is apparently a hill at the back of the building for wheelchairs but it's not signposted and it's pitch black at night down that street so not very useful. I dislike this Travelodge so much that I have just booked a trip to London in December and had the choice of this hotel or another hotel that's twice the price, and I booked the latter, I hope that I never need to stay here again. I like Travelodge, just not this one. There's another one in the same area, I've never been in it but it may be better designed. If you travel by train, the Euston one is really handy and much more user friendly.
Y. K.
Great and friendly service. Nice modern room with clean bed. Staff is really helpful and accommodating even at 3 am. There is air conditioning and a tea kettle. There's also a bar and dining area located near their reception area that offers fairly priced breakfast and dinner meals. For the dinner menu, items are varied ranging from burgers to chicken tikka masalas. Highly recommended hotel!
B. M.
Fantastic location for Covent Garden and Drury Lane. Clean and comfortable. Room was decent size. Only bad point was the key cards issued by the check-in machines didn't work so had to queue up anyway.
A. B.
This hotel is split into two on either side of the road only yards apart only problem we waited at the wrong one for our uber, causing a bit of confusion.
Very handy for most theaters.
One hotel or right on Drewry lane next to Covent garden. But it really makes no difference which one you are in.
Handy for tube.
Would stay again.
M. T.
Very pleasant experience, friendly and helpful staff, clean and hygienic rooms can't ask for much more. The food was the only down side. There was a very limited choice on what you could order for dinner and it wasn't very niceand it took around 45 minutes to prepare, however the breakfasts were good, a little bit cold bit edible. Over all I would recommend for a budget weekend away in the city.
E. C.
Very good hotel. Easy access to anywhere in London. No parking, so parking in multi storey at £40/24hrs. Only stayed 1 night. Comfortable room, but small. Tea/coffee faculties in room.
L. P.
We had a family room on the 11th floor and had a great view. The room was spacious, warm and clean and serviced well. The restaurant staff were lovely, helpful, courteous and great with rhe children, especially Elena who is a star!
A. D. S.
Needed a fairly central place to stay and in all aspects that come to mind it was exactly as you'd expect for a generic Travelodge. The only downer was in the morning when the tiredness of the previous nights meeting had cleared the fogginess that I was startled to find one of the supposedly fresh towels having some sort of stain approximating a murdered pizza chef. Suffice to say it was propelled across the room with all the gusto with which Trump launches into a twitter rant.
R. M.
Good basic accommodation near to Covent Garden. We were on twelfth floor so lots of stairs or occasionally a long wait for the lift. Good left luggage service available at their other hotel nearby in Drury Lane.
J. M.
Nice hotel at an affordable price. Heating was a bit iffy and sounded like a jet engine at times. Also woke up sweating due to it rising in the night for no apparently reason. Other than that, can’t fault the stay.
R. F.
We stay at Travelodge, as I'm sue do many of their guests, because you pretty much know what you're going to get. In addition, this branch is in a good location, particularly for the theatres and for shopping. We were disappointed on this stay because we paid extra for a better room and there was a noticeable stale cigarette smell. It wasn't so overpowering that it disturbed us enough to change rooms. We reported it at checkout. They said they would look into it. The extra that we paid meant we did get a hairdryer, iron and board, a good number of USB ports. We also got a Lavazza coffee maker and one whole two finger Kit Kat (which was not renewed the next day)
M. S.
This was my second stay here and it was even better than the first time.
The hotel has had a revamp and the rooms are now even better than before although it should be said I had no previous complaints.
New beds, bedding, curtains and the smell of fresh paint all inspire to give a good impression.
Only stayed for one night this time but would most definitely go back again for a third time.
T. L.
Good location and really helpful and friendly staff (the ones I spoke to were). The hotel is a little tired now and a bit dated. If you want a bed for the night near convent gardens and dont want luxury then this fits the bill
