The room was exceptionally clean, tidy and well maintained, and a superb standard which way exceeded our expectations! The young receptionist, Giovannah, was wonderfully personable, efficient and helpful, and truly added to one of the best Travel Lodge stays we have experienced. 'Thank you' Giovannah for making our stay so amazing! You are a true asset to the Travel Lodge brand! Needless to say, we will back!

Another Travelodge hotel - it's almost like new, with air-conditioning (which is rare find I can say!) , It has everything you need, decent size rooms, good beds, kettle and tea/coffee in room, additional pillows, lift to every floor, breakfast/dinner restaurant and bar inside the hotel. Always clean rooms, staff is nice. Just one thing - back rooms are facing to the railway, so if your sleeping is very sensitive, then you can't open window at night. Prices are good, depends on when you are booking and which day of the week.

There is a manager there called Anna who was extremely helpful. She made the stay very pleasant and was most amenable, nothing was too much trouble for. I would be happy to stay again knowing that Anna would be there giving whatever assistance was needed.

Lovely welcome from the young lady behind the desk ( the one who lived on Lewisham) sorry didn't take your name. Lovely clean room very quiet at night . Usual tea & coffee nothing to fault There is a car park where you can leave your car overnight at Goodwin Street not far from hotel . Again Lovely people at the car park cost us £6 overnight and £11 altogether. Plenty of shops supermarkets and tube station close by . Thank you

Shower only Very clean room. Staff pleasant and helpful... Room was facing railway. Some customers i spoke to also said very uncomfortable re- noisy trains all nite. My Saturday was ruined with lack of sleep. The staff would not move me same nite as all booked up. but manager nxt day very helpful said once everyone checked out she would allocate me room facing road. Was so glad of it. X value for money

Although there is no parking at this Travelodge, the tube station is a 5 minute walk to get you around the Capital! The staff at this hotel are very courteous, polite and just can't do enough. Sara the Hotel Manager is always on hand and is always smiling which is definitely a plus point. The rooms are comfortable and are serviced daily provided you place the 'clean my room' hanger on the outside. I stayed here for 2 weeks and I would definitely stay again. Thank you to Sara and her great team.

The hotel itself was clean warm and welcoming. The junior staff didn't really didn't know how to handle things and their English was poor. The struggled to solve the slightest issues. The senior staff however (Sara) were amazing, they had and answer for any question. The food was good, hot when served and presented well. The menu was limited though. Overall a pleasant stay was had.

We arrived a bit earlier than check in but the friendly staff kept all our luggage until we came back in the evening. The rooms were are nice and clean with tea, coffee and a kettle. We even borrowed an iron for our stay and the buffet breakfast was amazing, also the staff kindly agreed to keep our luggage the next day until the evening of the day we were going to leave while we visited the city centre although check out was at 12pm. Highly recommended friendly people as well in this area!

Sadly, Finsbury Park itself has degenerated into a bit of a dump. That's not the fault of Travelodge however abs this hotel provided a comfortable seat at good value for money

Really nice helpful staff that were accommodating to our needs. The food that was made fresh in house was nice and even boxed up to take to our room. The room was typical and very clean. Being right beside a train track you’d expect it to be loud but the windows kept it quiet, the Air Conditioning worked easily, TV was fine and the bathroom was nice, they keycards to enter worked without issue.

Me and my family stayed here for xmas and new year 2019 loved the staff etc very very friendly and eager to help at any time! Clean and tidy rooms also. Lovely breakfast too my only gripe would be that there isn't much to choose from on the kids menu at all especially when my 2 boys don't like cheese other than it was great

Excellent service from arrival to departure. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming, especially the new member of staff who had only been here for a week. She went out of her way to help, asking Anna, another friendly staff member when she didn't know the information we wanted. Special mention too for Coleen in the restaurant- again nothing was too much trouble and so pleasant. Mentioning the friendliness to debunk the argument that people in the south are not as friendly as in the north, where we're from. Accommodation was very comfortable and sound-proofed from the road traffic. Great overnight stay.

It was great. Bed was large and very comfortable, especially the pillows. The shower was good, perfect temperature water. There was only one towel in the bathroom, but we did manage to find another one in a slightly odd spot. Breakfast was great too, however it did start about 20mins later than advertised. But it was worth the wait, when it did come. All in all a really good stay

Nice modern hotel, pleasant staff, good facilities but not suitable for visitors with cars as parking recommended is unsuitable and insecure. You'll pay a premium for secure parking in this area. Perfect for those visiting London by public transport as it's cheap and convenient for the Tube and National Rail. Some random l noise but not intrusive.

Booked in for 3 nights room only and found the staff very friendly and helpful on arrival. They asked us if we would like a room higher up as it would be quieter. We found our room to be nice and cool on a very hot day as the air conditioner was already on. It was a nice size with a very large bed and a great shower in the bathroom. Also found it to be clean and well kept. It is in a great location only 2 mins walk from Finsbury Park tube station which is only 2 stops from Kings Cross on the Piccadilly line. So you can go straight to lots of great locations around London without having to change tube lines. We also found the local people very friendly while walking around the area on the Seven Sisters Road where the hotel is situated and used the local pubs,shops and cafes. No rip off London prices around here. The area looks a little run down but please don't let it put you off as we had a great time.

Very close to Finsbury train station so great for tourists. About a 10/15 minute walk from Emirates stadium. Room was very comfy and we were able to upgrade to a premium room for £1 extra. Breakfast was buffet style and very tasty. Staff all very friendly. Only con is you get 30 mins free WiFi every 24 hours but this wasn't a big issue for us.

Down side wifi £3.00 and I was told parking was just around the corner which it was not. it was a good 30 minute walk back to the hotel from the car park - not good if you have to carry luggage.Over all highly recommended.

Room was small but ok. Cleaner needs new glasses. Nothing major but not as clean as it could of been. Add another star if you just want to crash and chill. Keep the 3stars if you want breakfast and everything else because it wasn't great. Staff seem totally over worked but we're helpful and friendly

The mattress wasn't to my liking but my partner had no issues so it'd be unfair to mark down based on preferences. It's clean and perfectly acceptable for 1 or 2 nights. My only real issue is the shower. I had a corner shower with curtains instead of screens. This led to me flooding the bathroom. That type of shower is not made for curtains and this seems like a big oversight. But besides that, everything else was adequate

Extremely friendly crew, very helpful. You can have food pretty much 24/7. Rooms are clean and prepared to standard. The only problem we found (we occupied 6 rooms) was the air con that was very noisy and couldn't sleep properly. If they sort it out it's gonna be spot on.

Our stay here was better than our average stay at a Travelodge. The service from the one employee that we spoke to was very friendly and keen to help. The view of the greenery and trainline from our room was nothing to complain about either, given that it is in London. It also has fancy features as it's a brand new hotel, giving it definitely a reason to stay again!

I have to give this hotel 5 stars because they were so good to me while I had my stay there.I was there between October to January as it was my temporary home and they looked after me very well,not only that I was not very well be ended up in hospital for 2-3 weeks and in that time they looked after my belongings.the staff are great,friendly,helpful.Room and food great aswell.I wud recommend this hotel any time best hotel I've ever been in.thank u to all the staff for what you did for me

I had a relaxing stay. I always do at Travelodges. Nice interior design. Exceptionally clean room. Helpful and kind staff. Easy and quick check in. Quiet-no outside noise and somehow, even peaceful when full booked. Perhaps staff help make it peaceful.. There is a restaurant/dining. In my opinion, the breakfast is delicious. There is a lot of variety such as eggs, sausages, croissants, yogurts, fruit salad. Also bottomless fresh apple/orange juice and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Throughout breakfast the buffet is kept hot on hot plates and in other heating appliances. You can take your meals to your room (take a try). If you don't pre pay for meals online, you can just go down the restaurant and pay before your meal/s. There is also a kettle (lava zzz machine in Super rooms) in-room with mugs, glasses, spoons provided. Complimentary tea and coffee, sugar, sweeteners, semi skimmed milk pots. You can get more from the front desk/reception or the restaurant. Heating. Desk fan. Tv with free view. Wifi-30 minutes free everyday otherwise paid. Desk and fabric chair. Single open wardrobe with some hangers. Hair dryer available from the reception/ front desk. Hand soap dispenser. Body soap and shampoo dispenser. A couple of bath sheets(large towels). You can get more from reception free of charge. Hyperallergenic Diivan kingsize bed and mattress. Bedside shelves. Desk lamp. LED bedside and bed lights Trash cans/ bins. Bathrooms have a large mirror, sink and either a shower or a bath. I suggest requesting from the hotel before checking in. Luggage storage. Non smoking rooms. The rooms are cleaned everyday unless you ask the reception or maids not to each day (great for when you are still sleeping). Late check out available. There are bus stops right outside the hotel. No more than a 2 minute walk from Finsbury park station. Transport links are great. Transport going in every direction such as Holloway(15 minute walk), Camden, Kings Cross/St Pancras, Manor Park, Seven Sisters, Highbury (Emirates Stadium) and Angel. A few places nearby within walking distance: Finsbury Park Costa coffee Beauty salons Night club Pubs PACS speciality beauty stores with products for all hair types- they also sell hygiene products such as soap, toothpaste and lotion). Taxis Contemporary church Bowling alley with arcade and pool/snooker tables Post Office Betting shops, Tesco Express Lidl KFC Barclay's bank Sainsbury's Local Chicken shops Chinese takeaway Garage and car wash Free of charge bird/ wildlife park ... If you need a place with any of those things, I strongly recommend staying here.

Nice hotel, very clean and close to arsenal stadium and Finsbury Park tube. Rooms are simple with a flat screen TV on the wall and also air conditioning. Only negative is the rail lines run behind the hotel and even with the window closed you can hear them.

The bedrooms are basic for the price. The food is disgusting and it is microwaved. The staff are ignorant when you ask them for something the only one that was nice was the cleaner. The good thing is that it is about 5 minutes away from basic shops such as Poundland Greggs a bar etc and 5 minutes away from the Underground. The hotel and the room was absolutely good but when I paid extra to use unlimited wifi in the hotel I couldn't use properly and even I couldn't use my internet on my phone!Seems like they had some internet shade, wich is not fear, because they do this you to pay some extra but you can't get nothing for this money! I would say the evening recepcionist was very helpfull and I was apraciate that!

We stayed for a couple nights in July and it was ok but Our sheets were stained with Lipstick or red marker. WiFi doesn't work here at night. There are too many people for it to actually let you connect to anything. Beds are uncomfortable if you're sleeping in one of the single beds. It's in a decent area as it's only a 2 minute walk from Finsbury Park tubestation (that's not that hard to do in London though).

Ok so the Travelodge itself is what it is quite cheap and close for the tube. A bar and eating area. The rooms were clean and tidy. My night here was marred by other guests, there was a baby that doesn't stop crying until 1am and people in the corridors shouting, doors being slammed etc.

Good location to base out of if visiting London. Kings Cross only a quick journey down the Victoria or piccadilly lines so easy to reach. Plus easy to get to Kensington and the museums without changing. Rooms are clean and staff are helpful. Rates are not bad considering London prices but since you are just out of the centre it brings the cost down. There are plenty of gold value quality places to eat locally so don't bother eating here as food is fairly standard, (we didn't eat here so not commenting on quality but choice is similar to standard pub chain grub) We would highly recommend Dotori Japanese/Korean about £12 a head Pasta Remoli home made pasta £12 a head plus kids eat free before 5 pm. Breakfast or late try The happening bagel open 5am till 2am! Good play area in Finsbury Park for little ones and lidl by the station has good stock for pack ups and other essentials.
