R. M. D.I had a long stay here whilst working in London. From the moment I checked in I was very impressed by how welcoming and friendly all of the staff are! My room was very clean and tidy, and very spacious- the desk and chair were also comfortable (ideal for working). Food and drinks services were also fantastic here, again, with staff super happy and helpful. Every member of staff I spoke to was lovely, and really contributed to an amazing stay at this hotel! 100% would recommend staying at this hotel, based upon the great service I received during my visit. The location of the hotel is also spot on, with Stepney Green tube station less than a minutes walk from the hotel, making it quick and easy to access central London! Thankyou to the team for such an enjoyable visit!
J. R.Had a long weekend stay and had a great comfortable experience. Staff really friendly helpful and polite. Room was really nice very clean and beds were comfortable. Slept well every night. Cooked breakfast was good wand a good Selection of cereals and drinks.
D. M.I stayed on December 29th and 30th, needing to be in London for a few days. I am a UK citizen based in the US for many years. I have had occasion to stay at some fine hotels in my time, and didn’t know what to expect here. I was very pleasantly surprised, and genuinely moved by the sincere attentiveness and helpful attitude of the staff. In particular the gentleman with the glasses (and I certainly do apologize for not having his name) was absolutely fantastic. Very proprietorial and demonstrating true concern with what I felt was white glove treatment. This is over a month later now, and I still feel grateful and appreciative. I would add that there were three other members of staff that I interacted with who likewise impressed me greatly. Very cheerful, polite, and enthusiastic. Additionally the breakfast was wonderful and the way it was presented and laid out, was clearly done with great care. And my room and the corridors were pristine and spotlessly clean. Obviously sanitizing was a very priority and didn’t just exist in the land of ideas, but was followed through on to manifest in real terms. It was at a high standard.
I find my experience has chiefly caused two main effects:
One, because such things intrigue me, is that it creates a curiosity in me about Travelodge as a whole. The company and organization. Specifically in the UK. Due to the fact that these individuals reflect so well upon the organization, I have to ask myself - “what is Travelodge doing so right that they can attract and retain such high calibre people??”
Two, for future trips, whether it be business or pleasure, when considering where to stay, Travelodge will be moved on to my list of choices as a very serious contender. Very squarely placed on the table when considering the selection of alternatives that present themselves with any travel endeavor.
Also, I may well be in the Mile End area again, and when I am, this establishment will be at the very top of my preference list. Thanks.
V. G.Nice hotel, lovely room and facilities. Staff on Friday and Saturday morning were amazing, nothing too much trouble. Let down by the sole member of staff on Saturday evening/night. Didnt know how to run a bar, couldnt tell a vodka from a bicardi. Closed the bar very early without telling anyone which annoyed some of the other guests who were very vocal making the atmosphere feel very uncomfortable.
O.Pros:
Very close to the metro Stepney Green and there were many places around to hang out, eat and drink. It felt safe but there were many people around at night, so you never know.
It's super modern, clean and personel were very friendly, helpful and professional.
They offered food for a reasonable price, not too cheap not to expensive, buffet style breakfast.
Cons:
Wifi was paid, they only gave you 30 min daily.
They cleaned my bed but they didn't throw away the garbage neither from the bathroom nor the desk area, so there was a mess at the end of my stay even when I asked for it to be cleaned. It'd be the only complaint i'd give.
In overall, it's an excellent place to stay for the price and the location, it's very modern and very clean.
M. A. V. -. S.I've stayed at many travelodges but this is the best. Not much for the area , although it's right next to a tube station that makes it easy to get to cental London and other places. Most of all its the staff at this travelodge that made our stay special. Specifically the receptionist Carlos who from when we checked in and during our stay was friendly, extremely helpful and gave amazing service, the best receptionist by far I've met. Also breakfast was good, and another mention of a lovely chap who works in the restaurant Rahman, who was also equally amazing and friendly. These two plus the rest of the lovely staff made our stay that extra bit special. Thank you to the staff at travelodge mile end.
I.Stayed in super room which overlooked main road, however no problem with traffic noise.
Room was super clean and beds comfortable, had a great night's sleep.
Staff are absolutely amazing and location is excellent for exploring London.
W. C.Stayed here for five nights. No soap is refilled. I would not recommend if you have luggages and don’t want to bring them along with you on the last day of stay because you can’t leave them there even for a short time

This travelodge has staff who are exemplary in their professionalism and attentiveness. I stayed this week for 3 nights as I was visiting family. Carlos on reception could not have been more helpful, arranging taxis and generally making me feel that I was the only guest to take care of. Sophie also made sure I was looked after at breakfast time and putting me at ease, especially when I was grounded due to Storm.
Eunice. From the bar staff to the housekeeping staff, everyone I came across was polite and helpful and always with a cheerful smile. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels from Claridges to budget and this travelodge is up there with the best of them. I will be back for my next London trip. Thank you all Jean Irvin.
M. B.Lovely comfortable stay at a reasonable price. Stayed in a super room which was at the back of the hotel. I think the rooms at the front may have been noisy as the hotel is on a busy main road. Hotel 2 minute walk from tube station with loads of shops and places to eat. Room had coffee machine, iron plus ironing board and all the other Travelodge amenities.

D. L.Nice clean room with great coffee machine. Unfortunately, we had problems in having the room serviced. It took 3 attempts to get fresh towels and drinks and even then the bin wasn't emptied. Not really good enough.

I am really amazed how the staff welcome and served me my coffee . It made my morning. You guys are amazing.Perfect place to step in if you are searching for comfort by spending money.

M. v.Lovely stay. I did something wrong for the reservation and they did everything they could to help me! Spent 2 days looking for a good price quality hotel and this is by far the best. Clean rooms, nice rooms, nice staff and the underground around the corner. Breakfast has everything you need. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
