K. K.Literally the BEST hotel ever! The 5-star-standard is kept in all areas of the hotel. My deluxe room was beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. The minibar was included and I could start every day with a coffee and cookie in bed :) Also, the location is great and very central with short walking distances to St. Paul's and the centre (about 25 minutes). BUT: the best thing about the hotel was the staff. My phone was stolen in the middle of my trip and they did EVERYTHING they could to help me and even cancelled any phone charges for calls I had to make from the room to get things sorted!
So when you're in London, choose V&M, I can't recommend it enough!
M.We celebrated our anniversary here (in a suite) and had a wonderful stay! I've stayed before in smaller rooms as hotel is near my office and knew it would be perfect for us. Will definitely be back again, including for "couples breaks". Beds incredibly comfortable (so much so we didn't want to leave our bed in the morning) and hotel is small but perfectly formed. Location is great as in quieter area but close to the Thames plus we don't mind walking around as best way to see everything!
B. P.We chose this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. All the staff were fantastic and friendly. The rooms were excellent and the hotel was ideal for our trip to the global theatre. The cocktail bar is a must with staff that are happy to create any cocktail you desired. Will definitely be back to eat in the rooftop terrace with outstanding views of London.

Everything about this hotel was flawless, but above everything the hotel service was impeccable and truly makes this a special place to stay. I would choose to stay here anytime over the bigger franchise hotels, and am already looking forward to booking my next stay here. Full credit to the staff, they were gracious, helpful and immediately responded to any query or request we had. Do not hesitate to book this hotel - you won't be disappointed
J. K.Booked this hotel for my partner and I’s anniversary through Secret Escapes and it was a lovely little staycation!
Clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a nice speak easy style bar downstairs.
Booking through Secret Escapes meant we received a free glass of champagne on arrival up in our room and either a contingents or full English breakfast, which we were also able to enjoy in our room - lovely touches.
Both receptionist were smiley and welcoming, especially the young brunette.
Would definitely recommend.

C. D. R.My husband and I were on a mini babymoon. The hotel knew I was pregnant and got us a room upgrade, a personal note and some sweets to congratulate us. The breakfast service didn’t go as planned and also on that part, the hotel did what they could to compensate the inconvenience. Apart from their exceptional service, our room was very quiet and the bed and pillow was really comfortable.
The location of the hotel couldn’t be better since there’s an underground stop within a 2 minute walk.
We will be back!
M. T.Have stayed in many hotels all over the world, this has been one of the best by far. Undoubtedly 5 star plus. Attention to detail in our room was unbelievable, a real quirky, funky, modern vibe, loved it. B/fast in morning was top draw, and all staff was fantastic and clearly highly trained. This place really can't do any better as have everything spot on. Can't wait to go back : )
M. P.Lovely hotel with good attention from staff. Room we had was very small but has all you could need. Bathroom has a design flaw in that shower door allows water to flood across floor when you open it, should have installed a roller door. You can't even leave a floor mat there as door prevents that.
Great little cocktail bar downstairs and didn't get a chance to try the roof terrace sadly..
C. S.We had an unquestionably relaxing and comfortable stay in this SLH property located near a subway and rail station. It is off the main road which makes the hotel very appealing for a quiet city break.
We had four rooms all of which were stylishly appointed and included a complimentary mini bar. The rooms had soft touches which made it extra comfortable with plenty of electric sockets, tea and coffee making facilities, little snacks, safe and aromatic toiletries. Cleaning of the rooms and indeed all publics spaces was immaculate. They had a functional gym and we noticed three conference rooms all of which looked extremely quaint.
Check in and check out was a breeze. The 2 lovely ladies on the reception where true professionals of their trade and made the entire stay extremely personal. Compliments goes to them both. This makes a huge difference in a city hotel.
We enjoyed breakfast on both mornings. Sadly, the last morning they ran out of smoked salmon; a staple on the breakfast menu. All cooked dishes arrived piping hot and the continental option was substantial. Service from the gentleman was polite and efficient. Dinner on our final night on the roof top terrace restaurant was outstanding.
Highly recommended the Vintry & Mercer for a quiet city escape with personalised 5-star services.

M. A.I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are nicely decorated toiletries are good. The public areas are fresh, modern and welcoming. Great breakfast which ever you choose. The gym is brand new but could do with being bigger. The D&D Bar has a good selection of cocktails however it's so dark they lend you a flashlight to read the menu. Minor things that they'll easily tweek.

N. E.My husband and I stayed here for his birthday for 3 nights. We had booked the studio suite. The hotel is modern with nice décor and situated near the station with good restaurants nearby. The hotel front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had the corner studio suit which had a good sized bathroom with a separate bath tub and shower, and our own sinks for the both of us. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was a seating area in our room with a coffee table and tea/coffee making area. The fridge is stocked up with complimentary water and soft drinks. The blinds were controlled electronically which was a useful added perk. We noted that as this was a boutique hotel we weren't expecting the rooms to be very big (that's why we opted for a studio) but we appreciate how well the hotel utilised the space for a smaller hotel room, we never felt cramped or needing more space. Room service was good with varied options and convenient if you just want to be tucked away in your room. The hotel has its own rooftop restaurant, basement bar and gym.
In summary, this hotel was definitely 5/5. Very clean, modern, comfortable and friendly!

M. A.Great staff and good breakfast. Rooms very good too but didn't know about having to turn on housekeeping sign in morning so room wasnt cleaned or bed made unfortunately (zzz red light is on so change to green person).
Ate at restaurant and ordered lamb cutlets for 2 at £70. Asked for medium rare and was v disappointed that cutlets were so unevenly cooked. Ends were well done, and other cutlets verged from medium to uncooked and cold. Ox cheek croquette and guinness bread nibbles were very good, but lamb main left the meal feeling disappointed. Again staff were very good, was tired and didn't want to cause a scene.

When deciding where I wanted to stay in London, I looked at the online reviews as I wanted to see what people's most recent experiences were given that we are in a weird time.
The hotel rooms are modern, attractive and beautifully furnished, and the hotel itself is in an excellent location.
The really good thing about this hotel is the near perfect service from all the staff - throughout the hotel and in the restaurant.
When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that she had seen my request for a balcony and had secured me a room with one- it had a view if the Shard.
She was also able to get us a table at their roof top restaurant- even though it had been fully booked. The food and service there was excellent. They were also happy to recommend some other places to eat nearby for another night.
Breakfast was very good too - I'd recommend the eggs and avocado.
Overall, one of the best hotel stays I've ever had - I'd have no problem recommending it highly.

The roof terrace was really nice with views on St Paul’s Cathedral and the city. They have heated ‘igloos’ which I’d recommend for a drink but not necessarily for dinner as the main dining room has a better atmosphere. Dinner was also very nice - modern European food and with great service.

In all my years of travel, I have never felt so genuinely welcomed in my life.
The room was perfect and its amenities, unfortunately due to the weather the roof top bar wasn't available.

I had a few issues with bed sheets though housekeeping sorted it out with free breakfast next day and the last night no hot water because the timing in the hotel there were no guests. So I asked for a free breakfast next day it was very good and delicious. The rooms were very clean and I was upgraded free of charge first time by the nice front staff because I wanted a bath tub. They were extremely informative and helpful even finding the walking distance to tower bridge. Definitely would bring my friends here again from abroad as they were truly a first class service. Would recommend and come again for sure. Thank you very much for my stay in central London.

W.My husband and I stayed here for several weeks on business, and I can honestly say it’s the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in (and we just finished an 18 month round the world trip prior to going back to work). The rooms are beautiful and very quiet and not a thing was missing; complimentary coffee and tea, drinks in the fridge, popcorn and cookies, Nespresso, newspaper every morning, and bathrobes. The shower was excellent, the bed very comfortable. All the staff are exceptional. We had dinner and drinks on the rooftop terrace a few times; beautiful food and view! Everything is exceptional.

D. F.V&M is a nice, little, yet beautiful hotel tucked in between other buildings up in Garlick hill. Staff are very welcoming and hospitable. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, we were given a room upgrade, complimentary champagne and some surprise sweets with an equally sweet message of congratulations in our room. Our room had a vintage feel yet modern stylings. They have interesting books for reading too! The bathroom is exquisite. All in all it waS a great stay. The hotel is very accessible via bus and the tube. Value for money is great and is highly recommended especially for those who would like to go around sightseeing in Central London.
C.Friendly, attentive staff. Clean rooms with large TVs, breakfast served to room during COVID was reallllly good. Not particularly clear how to order breakfast at this time but friendly staff made it easy.

Absolutely no hidden charges experienced by me.. Several options for dining with available roof top restaurant and bar. Location is very close to multiple major stations and walking distance from business hubs. Check in and out were a breeze for me, but you may need some patience if large crowd is encountered. Highly recommended.

r. s.Have worked and love the city, but this place really allowed me to see a different side, the service was really top class from the reception to the rooftop restaurant, which the food was truly amazing. Wonderful ambience and everything was my wife's favourite colour haha. The room was amazing, the other guests seemed relaxed and friendly, I believe it is because of the way the hotel is, the staff go out of their way to take those little issues of your shoulders to allow you truly enjoy your stay. N. K.I think this has to be my favourite hotel in London. The decor is to die for! Rooms were quite spacious considering what you get in London and I loved the tech features of the room (Lights controlled by a panel rather than switches etc). Fantastic location as it's just a. stones throw from Mansion House, and a 5 minute walk from Cannon Street and Bank! I can't wait to return.

M. K.I have never stayed at a hotel quite like Vintry and Mercer. From the moment we arrived it was a fantastic experience. We were met with the highest standard of customer service, a stunning room for the week (not to mention one that stayed pristine throughout the entire stay thanks to the wonderful housekeeping staff) and three restaurants that were worth every penny. The hotel is located steps away from the Tube which made getting around London super easy. The neighborhood is quiet yet filled with wonderful restaurants and historical sights right outside your door. I’ve been to London quite a few times and I have to say this was one of my best stays. Thank you to the entire Vintry and Mercer staff for making this holiday an absolute dream!

J. W.Had lunch in the rooftop restaurant here during their soft opening (the lift doors opened on a random floor on the way up to reveal a hard-hatted workman attending to some furniture). The food was very good and the service was excellent - we couldn't finish our meal so they more than happy to box it up for us. I'm sure during the summer this will be a very popular spot - the view is pretty good from here but there are other places along the river that have better.

The stylish boutique hotel is tucked down the end of an alley, an oasis in the busy City life.
It’s got a rooftop terrace British restaurant, an Asian fusion restaurant and a speakeasy bar underground, which offers a wide selection of wines and cocktails.
The deco at these three places are also quite different and charming. We went for dinner then a cocktail downstairs - great vibe.
Food wise, their desserts are quite innovative: chocolate mouse with beer foam, creme brûlée served in an English tea cup. For appetizer I would recommend the beetroot infused trout, or the clams. For main course, try their aged ribeye.
A great hidden gem for City workers or weekend loungers.
C.Just opened a month ago, cannot really appreciate terrace on roof top bar until spring, go for the hidden bar which they promote like a treasure during prohibition time in US. Team very helpful and Spanish bartender from Madrid on rooftop bar done amazing job to promote in house infused spirits and when done a mistake did extremely well to recover it. Toilet done nicely with vintage feel - an area which I always feel shows either level of details from designer or not!

Le personnel est particulièrement agréable et charmant.
La situation de l'hôtel, au cœur de la City, permet d'être au calme, le quartier étant très peu animé le soir.
