Reviews of Welby Short Lets
Perfect location, lovely place. I really liked the room, it was clean enough and the staff were always helpful when we needed.
The room was warm and cosy and had all what necessary for our stay.
We stayed for 12 days, and I would highly recommend it. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to London.
Nice place to stay. Is comfortable and near a lot of transports of London
Short walk from underground/subway station, a lot of little cafés and shops closeby.
Beautiful green neighborhood.
Not the biggest rooms but you get what you see in the pictures. The walls are quite thin and the doors make quite a bit of sound so if you're a very light sleeper this might not be the place for you.
The owner was really friendly and helpfull.
We stay over on a Saturday night the room was well priced and comfortable close to the tube and shops perfect for a few days stop over in London
All good. Old building but up to date. Next to the Tube and 10 minuts walking to Candem Market!
Great location.. nice large studio with a balcony and a kitchenette. Really clean room and bathroom. I would definitely recommend.
Not too bad but could easily be better, lampshade missing in room and a loose socket on the wall, bed base badly worn
Helpful staff, clean bright rooms and only 15 mins into the centre of the city. Recommended.
Having a kitchenette was just what we needed. Clean and warm room to drive away Jan chills. Would return.
Great place! I've had some weird dreams. Don't touch the TV it's really sensitive.
Bargain for London. Staff are great and polite. Not far from Camden market too
The first time I am actually considering to repeat a place. Excellent team and service! They really know what they are doing. The studios are modest and you get what you pay for. Clean and tidy - for a shower and a place to sleep, it is all you need. Very small in size, though nicely optimized. Mind that if you get the fourth floor there are lots of stairs to climb.
Very clean, not expensive. Good location. Nice manager. Recomended!
A nice neighborhood, a well furnished apartment and a very nice tenant office!
Small room and thin walls but okay for short stays
Great folks and a nice inexpensive place to rest your head.
Cheap good value .... lovely street
Nice value for money. Great location!!
Nice place as well
Very good beds
Perfect for a few nights
Basic accomodation
I stayed here for a night. The rooms are very clean and basic but great value for money and the beds are comfortable. They are en suite.
No tea/coffee or shampoo given but all other materials provided. Great price for London. A lot of stairs however!
Just what i needed
It's very well located, in the heart of Hampstead, three blocks from the subway. Our apartment was very small, with the bed against the wall, making it difficult to access.
It has kitchenware, a stove, and an oven, but no microwave, which would be very useful in a place like this.
There's no housekeeping service while you're there, but we received a spotless room upon arrival.
To request a change of towels or a supply of toilet paper, please contact the administration.
I was satisfied with the reasonably priced accommodation given the high cost of living in the UK and the fact that I could save money on food because I cooked my own food. The woman at the reception in the evening was really nice, but the white woman in the office in the morning was really unfriendly and unpleasant. Oh, and the bed mattress was a bit bad, but it was important to me to cook my own food, the water was hot, and overall I was satisfied with the accommodation I stayed in.
I stayed here for a week to visit London. The apartment provides everything you need, both for the living room and for the kitchen (it also has a kitchenette).
The welcome was excellent, very helpful and kind staff. Located in Belsize, very close to the tube (5 minutes on the Northern Line). Unbeatable price
Great little studio, very quiet, very friendly and warm welcome. Nothing to complain about the cleanliness of the place. Very well located 2 steps from the Belsize Park metro. We will come back for our next stay👍👍👍I recommend without hesitation!!!!!!
They are studio apartments, small but tidy and with everything you need for breakfast or dinner. They're simple, but the people who rent them are friendly, the cleaning is good, and the location is great. Good value for money. The only downside is that you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.
The area is great, and the apartment itself is also great. It's modest, but the basic needs are more than covered. They could have been more generous with the toilet paper and provided a few more rags, a tablecloth, a broom, bleach... in short, everything necessary to keep the apartment clean. The kettle was full of limescale, you could tear off chunks; it wasn't a pigsty, but it wasn't clean either. Personally, I would lower the price a bit (it's not expensive, but it's not worth the price, let's be honest) and include more cleaning supplies. Then the guests can decide whether to use them or not.
The staff, except for one guy who was very polite, were rude, especially a pregnant woman and another older woman.
Hotel good for a few days only because no room cleaning during the stay. The cleaning ladies are unwelcoming except for the reception staff who are very pleasant. The rooms are well equipped: no microwave is a shame. The bedding needs to be redone.. plaque on my body when I return to France as well as my partner!!!!! The faucets also need to be redone.
Apartment rented via Holiday Lettings (Tripadvisor) offering good value for money for a 5 night stay in April. Apartment located at 20 Belsize Park, clean and as expected. Some positive points: location (between two metro lines Nothern Line, Jubilee Line), cleanliness, quiet. Some negative points: basic products are not provided (broom, brush and sponge for dishes, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, etc.), oven handle missing (difficult to open when hot), reception leaving something to be desired.
Good apartment house in a very chic residential area... Absolutely recommended for the price
Place is very well positioned, close to Northern and Jubilee line tube stops and to shops and amenities. Studio is very good, only a couple of nuisances: the shower water, which had some weird smell but that's possibly because of the old building and therefore old pipes (tap water from kitchen sink was just fine for drinking) and the bed mattress, which was a bit on the soft side. Nevertheless, great place!
It was good for the price. The very nice neighborhood. However, the service is not very good and the room is extremely small.
Great compromise to sleep in London at a great price! ...but it's not a B&B but a guesthouse!
Great price for one night, quiet and has lots of kitchen utensils, very clean and organized!
Definitely worth it!
Friendly room, value for money!
Rooms not very well soundproofed. Nevertheless clean and spacious.
I was happy to stay at this place...I will definitely stay here again if I go to London
Very warm welcome, clean and pleasant room but small
I think it's absolutely fantastic and very close to the Underground. Highly recommended!
Great value for money.... Very friendly staff.
Good, good, good. No bad surprises. Nice little studio, as well as the neighborhood.
Good location and price-quality ratio
A very nice experience in London. Our apartment was not so big, but it had all the necessary. It's near the underground and some minimarkets: that's great!!
The staff was friendly and helpful except for the blond receptionist (rude and lazy): we asked just an information and it seemed to have bothered her! Absolutely unacceptable.. Anyway, we're enough satisfied. 3⭐
Optimal
Very thin walls
Cozy... cozy
Very nice accomodations! It's a small studio apartment in the size of a hotel room, so you get a private bathroom, your own kitchen and a place to eat, and a bed. The night manager was one of the nicest hotel employees I've met!
An excellent budget place to stay in London. The rooms are essentially studio apartments with bathroom and kitchen that includes fridge and full oven. There is a full set of crockery and utensils so you just need to bring your own food. A great way to stay in London without having to eat out for every meal.
Clean and cozy apartment, sheets, kitchen, towels all smelling! in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood, (having a huge park you can see some fox running at night in the streets ... but don't be scared) the subway is a 6/7 minute walk (Northern Line - Belsize Park) and cut the city well, to be able to move comfortably in the various points of interest, nice holiday!
I was looking for apart hotels in London for a long time, and I found Welby Short lets.
What a good place!
The rooms are quite nice, and they have a kitchen, fridge and sink. Ours was located in the second floor of the house (no lift).
The staff was quite helpful.
The location of the appartments is in a very nice neighbourhood, buy a bit far off from.everything. nevertheless, there is a train station 2 blocks away, and busses wich run one block away.
When I go back to london, I will definitely stay here again, because it has all the commodities I need.
Perfectly fine place to stay for one night. Very inexpensive, clean and exceptionally convenient for Camden Town nights out!
