Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I ever had. Very spacious, amazing feng shui inside and king’s chairs. Food is next level. Big up for the Lithuanian host Aurimas. Made my experience top notch!

I would just like to say a massive thanks to the lovely Ana Rita who welcomed us at the hotel on Christmas Day. She was super friendly and so helpful and provided us with an amazing service throughout our stay . On leaving the hotel I realised I had lost one of my diamond earrings and rang and spoke to ana who then went to much effort to search the room for me and managed to find my earring even after house keeping had cleaned the room . Many thanks again ana as it was more than just an earring and holds a lot of sentiment to me a massive 5 stars from us 😊

Dinner for four. Lovely food, great service, particular thanks to AJ our waiter. This was my second visit, I'll go back again.

For the wedding of the lovely Kat & Ben, the York & Albany was such a perfect choice for the reception & dinner.Beautiful surroundings, fab service & amazing food✨✨✨✨✨

Great service. Amazing French waiter, top drawer. Food was nice, not incredible. 5 people, main and classes of wine £220. Nice setting, not crowded. Lots of glass, some parts of restaurant feel like a green house on hot day.

We had such an amazing wedding. All the staff did such a fantastic job. Our party planner Lilly played such a big role in making the day special for us. The food was incredible. The Chefs delivered on the day to the standard of our menu tasting months earlier.
We would highly recommend The YA for a special occasion venue or dinner.

My friend and I visited the restaurant last night and left very pleasantly surprised. What was not to like. The service was perfect from arrival to departure. I loved the decor in the bar area with the use of soft green hues on the walls and discreet lighting against the vintage styled velvet and leather seating. All very tasteful.
We chose from the three course set menu and each dish was perfect in size , presentation and flavour and ,as London prices go, really not too silly. The layout was good - comfortable and sufficiently separate from the diners to allow atmosphere minus unnecessary intrusion.
Would I go again and recommend? Most definitely.

'You really pulled the stops out!’ Our room was lovely and well appointed ( 'the stables’) The staff were very friendly, engaging and attentive, nothing seemed too much; the food was first class. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to booking with you again in the future.

Lovely stay, super staff, room overlooking park, huge very comfortable bed. Great dinner. Full English breakfast was very impressive. I hate people that take photos of their food but this was so well presented I was tempted to take a snap.

We kicked off our Christmas holiday with afternoon tea at the York and Albany. The people running the place are lovely and professional. The manager was warm and attentive and our waiter Karim was adorable and helpful. Could not have been nicer. We were so surprised, however, with the "meh" quality of the food. The scones were good, but the tea sandwiches underwhelming and the little cakes seemed to have come out of the freezer. We realized while there that it was dumb of us to have thought that the name "Gordon Ramsey" would actually influence at all the quality of the food. A+ to the staff, C- to the management behind the place that decides what will be served and what ingredients will be used.

Brilliant lunch there with a friend. Foccacia was stunning. Had the vietnamese braised pork carbonara. Super tasty. Pasta was slightly too al dente if I'm honest, but certainly didn't detract from the experience.

We went for lunch with the kids and it was distinctively average, which I was rather surprised about. We were in the back of the restaurant and it was noisy and crowded. The whole place was grubby and tired. The toilets were particularly disgusting. Food was ok but no better than an average pub but twice the price. Best bit was that the kids ate free. Had wanted to go for a while but won't bother again, a bit of a shame really.

Great cocktails, friendly staff, loved my burger & chips!

I used to be a regular. It was a catchup place with my dad, bonding time with family and friends excellent staff. The relationship i had with the staff was amazing they catered to everyones needs. Now it has changed, i did not go often no more and different staff which i understand happens, but it has lost its spirit. I wouldn't go back now knowing that it is not the same. The staff seem unhappy, rude forgettable about drinks. Which to a restaurant of this standard i would not expect. It is way to pricey here. They also automatically charge you if service charge even if you are sitting at the bar so be careful which i thought was very sneaky indeed. Sit at the bar have a pint or a drink, each time you are served you will be charged a service charge. I used to be able to go here sit at the bar leave my money in the bar for my next round now they just take the money and think it is a tip for themselves. Look the place isn't that bad overall but for me i just feel as if it has changed and that the same skills and training may not be applied anymore

Excellent Food and Service! Great Fish and Chips and Sticky Toffee pudding. Vilmos and his staff are very friendly and professional offering recommendations and just giving you the time and privacy you need to make decisions without feeling crowded or that your waiting for ages. Excellent environment that is family friendly or when you want a quiet lunch with your better half. Will come back again :)

My husband and I stayed a night while on a quick trip to London. Service was generally very friendly but it did take a few minutes to check in as the desk person was helping another guest to their room. Once in our room, (number nine) I loved it! The decor is beautiful and vintage. I enjoyed having use of the hair dryer and a straightener they provided. I do think the carpet in that particular room could use a freshening, as it was quite worn, not in a charming way, but in a overly used kind of way. The bathroom was wonderful as was the bed. My favorite thing about the room was the view and proximity to Reagents park. There is traffic noise due to the intersection but we came from New York City and did not find it excessive. Breakfast was also very good, with great service. I would stay again.

My dinner started really bad, I booked a table for two way in advance, but when and got there the restaurant is full, I had to wait 15 minutes at the bar.
They mixed up the order and came with the wrong pizzas which are nothing special, burnt on the bottom and cold on the top.
However, the staff is very attentive, they realized I was pissed off and offered us desserts, which by the way are amazing, especially the cheese cake.
The ambiance is great, low lights, comfy seats and nice decor, also there's live music every Tuesday

Went here for a Sunday lunch. One of our party was gluten intolerant and we'd let them know when we booked. Got there and barely waited 2 minutes for our table. When we sat down the waiting staff mentioned that one of us was gluten intolerant without prompting and special gluten free bread was bought out for them when the rest of the party had their regular bread. It was actually a nice bread for gluten free too, quite a surprise! The roasts themselves were delicious. Perfectly cooked beef, crispy roast potatoes, tasty carrots and parsnips and a huge Yorkshire. Doesn't cost that much more than many of the gastro pub offerings in the area and the quality is far better. Highly recommended!
L. M.
Never had tastier sea bass and mashed potatoes as the ones here. And the pumpkin soup - a bowl of perfection. In all honesty, all the food here is impeccably prepared. The atmosphere is great - very welcoming and with an air of understated chic to it. Not your typical fish and chips pub, by all means. Staff were very attentive throughout and we had a great time here, leaving all in smiles even after the bill arrived as the prices are quite fair for the perfectly prepared food and lovely ambiance. Don't even get me started on the cocktails - so beautifully presented, these concoctions are heavenly. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit how many I had.
A. S.
We liked it. Had a lovely meal in a nice setting just down the road from London Zoo. Service was great. They had a really good local beer 'Camden Hell' on tap and the cocktails must have been good as my partner had two. Good little kids menue. Well worth a visit.
M. W.
Enjoyed our stay there 5 1/2 years ago in mid January. Got a lovely upgrade when our room flooded. Restaurant was excellent. There was even lead shot in the pheasant. Very authentic. Nice break from the Aussie summer.
D. A.
I had a very pleasant experience with the staff, nevertheless the main was average The 3 course meal is alright but I'll stay away from the burger since it's pretty average not truly special as I thought it will be and the fries where salty as the ocean.
The dessert and starters where very nice to be honest the toffee pudding could have been a bit moist but it was delicious!! The Ham hoc and rabbit terrine was amazing!!
R. C. H.
Beautiful decor. Luxurious though some areas need a bit of sprucing up. Lovely light.
Expensive but good quality. Great service but not quite as attentive and not easy to get their attention always.
Great pizza deal - two for fifteen pounds on a Tuesday. Nice trattoria like stand too with pizza oven for the purpose.
Outdoor seating but on main road with dean paving. Otherwise great.
T. R.
Lovely the staff were so attentive, welcoming and polite. The waiter's and receptionist were so genuinely kind.
The food was ofcourse amazing!
The room was clean and the bed was top quality. To be honest I imagine myself buying a comfortable expensive bed like that one day:)
E. M.
We had roast dinner. I had beef my wife had pork. We thought it be would be slice pork. But it can out as fatty belly pork. We ask could we change it for beef which they did. Many thanks. The whole meal was nothing special for £25.
P. M.
I originally decided that 3 star was right, but what's the point of that? Would you go again, or would you not? That's the question. So, I gave it 4, meaning yes, I would. Lunch for 4pax, my friend had the best finest belly pork I've ever seen. Ever! Unfortunately, I had a burger with bacon and it was dry and rubbish. Unfortunately, I had chicken wings as a starter that felt 4-days old! Who am I to tell a famous chef that you need to deep-fry then bake, rather than broil in a sauce! Sit at the front with windows and light, avoid the back room it's really not nice. Rejoice at the wine waiter, who knows his stuff. It wasn't perfect, but Camden rejoices in imperfection. I'll be back.
T. W.
People talk about the food a lot and there is also a small hotel here but the York and Albany really does have a great little bar. I think a lot of people miss that. The drinks aren’t cheap but the cocktails are really excellent (I recommend the classic marti) and they have some great wines. The service for me was also very good. This has to be the classiest bar in Camden by a long way. Do expect to pay for it, but worth it in my opinion.
A. A.
Other than slightly slow service, this place is great. For £24 I got a 3 course meal, with a complementary drink. The environment is relaxing, the food is delicious, and the staff is extremely polite. I would definitely come here again.
Recommend: Mushroom Risotto and the Chocolate Nemisis

I love this building! Its beautiful both inside and out (ah I'm sure somebody said that about me once, perhaps). The bar area is great to have a more relaxed meal and drinks in (the burger is recommended). For something a bit more intimate and womantic, as Jonathan Ross once said, the restaurant is a tip top choice for a slap up evening meal or Sunday dinner. We visited last Sunday and they have a good vegetarian option for Sunday dinner too. Even if this wasn't local to us we would still visit again.
W. S.
I had Sunday lunch here, and the staff were fantastic! Great maitre' and the waiter was very attentive (forget his name -Spanish guy with a beard). Good food and cocktails too. Look forward to returning. Well presented roast too!
M. T.
Lovely food, excellent service. Had a Sunday roast there which was one of the best in the area. Wine was good and not costing a house and a car. If you are after a good service and great food and don't mind paying for it then don't hesitate to visit.
A. G.
Pretty good gastropub with a trendy atmosphere but not without its faults.
Pros:
- simple menu and caters for a variety of tastes with some decent vegetarian options.
- table service is pretty good, well mannered and down to earth staff that speak good English.
- availability is generally pretty good.
Cons:
- Live entertainment was horrible. When I visited it was a woman on a guitar. Sound was over amplified and just too noisey especially for those looking for a quiet dinner.
- As a Halal chicken eater I couldn't benefit from the corn fed chicken on the menu as they did not order Halal on the day of arrival even when we have them a heads-up on booking.
R. J.
Would have totally scored higher, but there was a problem with us having no hot water and there was a noise outside the hotel all night that kept us awake, unfortunately. The breakfast and customer service was absolutely top notch and the room was impeccable, so should really be a much higher score under normal circumstances.

After a rocky start the previous night the York and Albany is another reminder to me to never judge a place after one incident. I was part of a wedding party and have to say Id rate it 6 stars if I could. The staff were excellent, the food was sublime and overall led to one of the best weddings I have had the privilege to attend.
C. S.
Slightly disappointed. Room was small for saying it was a superior room and overlooked nothing really. Glad we didn’t have the classic room.
Evening meal wasn’t what we expected especially with the Gordon Ramsey name behind it. Had better at a Toby Inn.
Think it’s the name that sells.
S.
Had the opportunity to eat at Gordon's restaurant this week. To be honest the food was average, toilets were below standard ( no toilet paper when i wanted to use the bathroom), we were told there was no gas to provide draft beer.sounds like the York & Albany is a candidate for 'Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares'. The food was better when the place was a pub in the 80's
E. C.
They can offer you several private areas that are good for parties, meetings and special occasions on the whole.
Well, every place has its own pros and cons. And some people say that the price of many meals is too high. But the quality has a price, we have to admit that.
On the website you can check their menu with different pizzas. I recommend trying their delicious special offers as soon as possible.
M. S.
If you go to London this is the place to be. The rooms have historical charm. The restaurant staff is very attentive and the food is great! The location seemed to be in the middle of everything we visited. My husband and I loved it. We will be back!
A. S.
I only seem to go on a tuesday night but they always have really good live music on. It is never too loud just creates a really good atmosphere. The wine list is good, I still haven't tried the food but it looks and smells good.
T. B.
Went here for lunch extremely excited as I’m a massive fan of Ramsey’s TV shows. Food was surprisingly average and the place was actually quite tired and grubby looking. Looks like Ramsey might need to do 24hrs to hell and back on one of his own venues!
A. D.
The service we received, in the restaurant/ bar area, was excellent, and the food was hot and had good flavours.
But, the problem was with the hotel room, a few areas lacking in detail, specifically, we found a piece of broken glass in the menu in our room (obviously this had been not checked/overlooked).
We also noticed that there was about an inch gap under the door, meaning the room had cold air blowing in, and external noises heard from the stairs. The room needed the heating on all night to keep warm (it was April when we stayed, sho not that cold).
Also, both the door and lock assembly needed refitting, as the door wasn't straight and the key barely fit in the lock.
We explained our findings to the receptionist, and she said she'd make a note of them. (Hopefully, she has had the problems resolved by now).
t. s.
Food was good, nothing amazing. Staff were friendly but service was slow... Dishes not available and wrong food coming out. Originally called to make reservation and they said no room but was able to book on a booking website, when we got there over half the tables were empty during the whole time we were there...
P. B.
This is a nice, smart, spacious gastropub in an expensive neighbourhood. They do a nightly special with a dish and a 125ml wine or beer for £15, which we all had. We were a party of four and we had a bowl of olives for a starter and an extra couple of 175ml glasses of wine (not each). The pork belly burger and fries was delicious but I was surprised when the bill came to £111 including service. I know I don't go out much but when did pubs start charging £11 for a 175ml glass of rioja? I would go back but skip the extra glass!
M. C.
Excellent food and a friendly staff make this a wonderful place for a meal in London. We were greeted warmly and taken to a cozy spot downstairs near the kitchen to dine per our request. This allowed for an intimate experience that I would be thrilled to repeat.
K. S.
Most enjoyable. Bar and cocktails terrific. Barman very good. Makes a mean dirty vodka martini! Couldn't fault Angelo - looked after us ....perfectly. Those cocktails and Angelo couldn't keep me away for long.... Didn't mention the food . No need .. 1st class.
S. S.
I was pleasantly surprised when my friend and I stumbled across this pub for lunch, just outside of Regent's Park. Not only was the food tasty and the service quick and friendly, but our shared pizza and drinks came to exactly £20. I didn't know until now that it was even a Gordon Ramsey pub, but otherwise would have anticipated a far more expensive experience and might not have given it a try. Recommended.
E. K.
Tried this for breakfast. Had a really tasty and huge omelette. Breakfast is until 11.30 and they were flexible and we could get it 10 mins after, even if the staff was already preparing for lunch.
Another time, had diner here, the staff was really friendly, and the food delicious!
C. R.
We popped in for a light mid afternoon snack and despite the pointed encouragement of the very engaging waiter the sticky toffee pudding was not only uninspiring but also not what any of us considered to be usual though it was extremely tasty.
A. N.
Well, not the best customer service I've had and quite honestly - not the best food, either. I'll still be more generous than others who've had experiences similar to mine and give it three stars although if I'd written the review on the evening I went there, they would have been fewer. Now that things have settled, I'm not going to be so harsh on them and I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt - maybe I just happened to come across a not so polite and experienced waiter, maybe the food isn't always burnt and taking hours to be delivered. Try it yourself and see how your dining turns out. Hopefully better than mine.
H. W.
I wasn't expecting much, but this place blew me away. Big clean room, comfy bed, friendly service and a great location for exploring Camden and central London. Breakfast was incredible - almost worth the price of the stay. On the favourite London hotels list for sure.
B. M.
I preface my review my stating I am not a man of wealth and taste, but the restaurant was excellent, and I can never go back again.
Last night, on the 9th April, our party of fifteen descended upon the York and Albany. We have two excellent canapes on the balcony overlooking the street. The best sausage roll I have actually ever had.
The wines were excellent, though for reasons that may become apparent later on we wish the staff had listened to us when we asked for them to stop serving one of us, but ultimately the fault lies with us.
The main courses, mackerel and rocket, pig head croquette, mushroom risotto and lamb and ratatouille. All of these were excellent and had just the right serving sizes. Our deserts, a lemon shot thingy and a chocolate nemesis were very sweet and welcome after our savoury main courses.
So, the reason we will never go back there.
Our friend, who shall remain anonymous for the sake of his protection against Ramsey's wrath, had consumed what we guess was roughly 2 bottles of 2015 chardonnay. When he gave a speech, collected his things and prepared himself, we were none the wiser to the hellmouth he was about to open. After half an hour, some of us wanted to use the toilet, we entered the room to check on him.
It was as if the staff had asked for him to paint the walls like tandoori chicken. You could see every excellent course, from the small chunks of mackerel to individual mushrooms. I was once a god fearing man, but now I know for sure, there is no god. Only the endless vomit. It stank. The room may or may not be usable for a month, for we have left it in a state roughly equivalent to class 4 biohazard or an ebola outbreak.
We dragged our comatose friend out of the building, and for a moment both us and the managerial staff just stared into the uncaring abyss that was that en suite bathroom with excellent decor.
I would now like to apologise to the grieving family of Gordon Ramsey, after the inevitable brain aneurysms I can only assume he suffered once his staff alerted him to the fact that a demon had been exercised in his bathroom, leaving the room/building uninhabitable to even the most hardy of rats which evolved specifically to deal with toxic waste and fallout from Chernobyl and turn it into food, what my friend did is ironically the exact opposite of this function.
Overall, 9/10, staff could've not given us more alcohol but were excellent otherwise and we apologise sincerely for our behaviour.
H. N.
Deceptively good food! Gordon Ramsay's gastropub looks a touch worn down and in need of TLC. However, the quality of food is pure Ramsay: fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. The aged steaks are superbly seasoned, and pub favorites like the scotch egg are top notch. Wine list is impressive, though selection of beers on tap isn't extensive. Genuinely high gastropub standards of food, if not more!
C. P.
Busy but lacked attention to detail - ie ran out of toilet rolls , light bulbs out, slow service in bar. Food good but plates cold. Staff tried hard difficult with the kitchen downstairs, Overall a good experience
Y.
Went for dinner. Service was good. Food was good and reasonably priced for the venue. High back chairs we were seated in made things a little bit difficult to eat at the table. But apart from that, nice venue, cosy atmosphere.
J. W.
Decent roast dinner though very expensive. Really good service, nice outdoor area.
K. U.
Very nice food served on extremely heavy set plates. Had the smoked salmon starter (set menu) which was nice. The sides had to be ordered as extras which made the dinner on whole pricey. Service did get a bit slow and there will be no mints with your bill.
A. H. -. M.
Took an hour for our brunch to arrive. Full English, was small half a large mushroom each!!! Staff were good though. Place feels a bit tired.
A. M.
The venue is airy, comfortable and relaxed; the food is not spectacular but well executed, fresh and not overly complicated. They were very kind to offer me a dish from the weekday menu on the weekend. It is a bit pricey but it's a premium you pay for the atmosphere.
C. G.
I have never before had such an experience, as dinning at York and Albany. The food was simply amazing, the staff very friendly and proffessional, and the atmosphere was just perfect. visiting this restaurant is a must on every London trip. I wish I could award it with more stars.
R. R.
The good here is tasty, but make sure you find a deal on Red Letter Days or something as its a little more expensive than you'd expect (£7 for soup, £20 for two pieces of duck). We were at on some very low down lounge chairs to eat which was uncomfortable, but the place itself is lovely.
D. W.
We had a really good lunch yesterday with amazing service from Atul and aided by a very helpful Karim. They made a birthday lunch really memorable. Top marks on the samphire and crayfish starter. My succulent Seabass for the main, made it for me. Best wishes for this autumn menu. Dorothy Walker

It was a somewhat sunny day at the weekend, I am a bit lazy and happened to look for a nice place to eat something. As I walked by York & Albany many times, actually almost every time I am going to Regent's Park, I decided already some months ago, that I should check out York & Albany.
And then on this lazy day, it was the right time. I did not really plan to go there, but it was one of the options I had in my head when I left to find something to eat. So, I went in and got a nice small table at the window. I liked that place a lot, because I could enjoy the sun there!
I ordered a Pizza Quattro Formaggi and took the white wine the waiter recommended. The pizza was actually a bit salty, but it went very good with the white wine, so I was fine with that.
The dessert tasted very very good, if not even better!
When I went there, I did not know that's a Gordon Ramsay place, so I had no specific expectations or something.
Anyway, I liked it and can recommend the York & Albany. Good location, tasty food, pleasant-tasting wine, and delicious desserts. What else do you need?!
D. K.
Great place, very stylish and nice diet cokes.
A. K.
Came in here quite late one night for dessert and was pleasantly surprised to find a free table to allow us to indulge in some very tasty desserts and smooth coffee.
Never felt rushed nor ignored - We'll be back for a full meal.
D. S.
I had the traditional English breakfast, so it terms of food it is difficult to go wrong.... Not the best that I have had but definitely enjoyed it.
The restaurant is very well presented, with different use of space and the service was great.
J. C.
Me and my boyfriend were staying overnight with a full 3 course dinner in the restaurant. We had the sweetest welcome and a beautiful room - The Kings Head.
We literally had the time of our lives at the dinner table. The most amazing waiter Fred - Frederico, who gave the best service and had the most welcomming smile.
We had breakfast in bed and thats the only thing that werent up to the Gordon Ramsay standards ;-)
Hope to go back one day, because this hotel and food experience is truely a luxurios experience.
M. S.
York & Albany is a combo restaurant-deli-hotel combo but really shines as a nice date-night spot. The Gordon Ramsay halo effect is apparent but not overpowering as the attention to detail is great.
The food, interior, ambience and service are slick and well worth checking out. Best to book in advance and check out the pre-set menus from a 3rd party booking site to get a reasonable rate and be sure to sample some other dishes to get the true experience.
U. G.
Organised Christmas dinner for 35 there and the staff was amazing. Preparation was great. We had a reception at the ground floor with drinks and then dinner downstairs. Well executed with wonderful food.
O. H.
Only had a few drinks and some chips here but very friendly service in a nice atmosphere. Will be back to try a full meal and update the review then.
S. C.
Nice but service is a bit stuffy. Looks just like a pub so went in for a relaxed drink but it's not quite the place for this. Wasn't sure if it was bar service or table, all got a bit awkward, luckily I "styled it out" but a lesser man may have become flustered... it's table service btw. I'll go for dinner sometime and re-review.
H. B.
Superb Sunday lunch on a wet day: food, service, ambiance all perfect. Especially the Yorkshires! Nothing too much trouble & superb table location.
K. C.
I visited with friends and family for an afternoon tea purchased off Buyagift for a very good price ,we chose it as was close to Camden where we were staying . The service was first class and the afternoon tea was also nice ,which included a glass of prosecco .
V. C.
Attentive service, well appointed restaurant with a range of seating areas and a bookable room. Very good value for three quality courses less than £30 ( recommend the "spoilt for summer menu")!
J. L.
Been here before for lunch and dinner and each time was excellent. However, i got to say the roast sunday was blah!! meat overcooked and bland. wouldn't go back for roast but would try again for dinner/lunch
J.
Good food but terribly slow service. An hour between ordering and food arriving. Having said that, they were so slow with drinks that they'd have saved us at least £100 on our collective bill.
L. B.
We eat in the restaurant it was a very nice experience the staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and the
procedures in place were also good would luke to return
e. r.
This place has a lovely atmosphere but it has kind of lost its groove. The service was absolutely fine, the restaurant atmosphere was very nice but the food was really mediocre. Such a shame - someone should really have a look at the menu....
E. B.
We were here to visit Camden Market and finally we decided to take a break in this place who was on my "Guide du Routard 2015".
It was a good surprise for us, cause we just wanted eat a pizza and finally we were served like two princess !
Service was very good but the pizza taste wasn't special, good but no more.
I don't advise you to order a pizza, but it's the only thing under 15£.
G. G.
Seemed like more organised chaos than a slick machine. Gordon would have kittens if he seen it.
Food was good but over priced for what you get, but your paying for the Ramsay name.
a. s.
I enjoyed my stay with my mum but the only negative thing is that the tv didn't work and I would have thought that we'd be offered something for the inconvenience!
D. B.
OK but has lost some of its former refinement. For is above average pub food but with a restaurant price tag. Extensive wine list but offering little of value.
P. A.
This is such a lovely place.
We had a spacious room, lots of extra ammunities and friendly staff.
Would definitely recommend the hotel if you’d like to avoid the huge chains like Hilton etc.
R. T.
Finally found the time to walk in and sample the place for lunch today .. decor was on point and there was an air of laid back sophistication as soon as we entered accentuated by the streaming sunlight pouring through wonderfully expansive windows .. the wine, an earthy little Sicilian number was terrific and the "Love January" menu was sensible value and prepared with loving attention to quality and taste .. but what made the experience so pleasurable and ensured we will be back was the outstanding service .. to be greeted with genuine smiles and treated as if no request was to much made us immediately feel at home .. it's rare for us to write feedback as it's often unwarranted, but wholeheartedly we would recommend anybody in the area to stop by and enjoy .. beautiful people, outstanding place, superb food .. thank you all ..
A. M.
Had an amazing time, and was treated with a little surprise for my birthday! Which was rather nice. Food was delicious and atmosphere was relaxing despite busy lunchtime!
S. D.
York & Albany's a lovely Art Deco place in a very sunny spot opposite Regent's Park, and the bar is the very epitome of plushness; velvet chairs, soft curtains and enough space between tables for the kind of indiscreet gossip you come somewhere like this for.
I had a Mint Julep and it was basically half a pint of pure booze in a silver tankard - in other words, brilliant! It's not cheap, at £9.50 a cocktail, but this is a bar where you sip not slurp...
B. L. W.
I recently photographed a wedding at York and Albany and really loved the place as well as the helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it as a central London wedding venue. More photos from the event on our website blog.
G. H.
Excellent quality room, Location is only a brisk 10 minutes walk from Cambden Town tube station, the staff were very professional and efficent, I would definitely recommend and stay again, the continental breakfast was very good and delivered to our room, excellent value and nice experience.
S. G.
Enjoyed a relaxed burger and chips which tasted great followed by several cocktails ( as you do). Great service all around especially with a lady called Katiya. Thank you for a great experience
T. f.
Food was good, but very poorly staffed & overpriced. Toilets were substandard, very dirty. Feel they might benefit from a tv show highlighting the need for an upgrade of their service... Ramseys Hotel Hell maybe?
K. S.

(Translated) Excellent English food, very friendly staff. The place is quite elegant but informal. We do not give 5 stars just because there have been problems and significant delays in the service. In each it is worth trying.

Tenían un menú en la puerta, al pedirlo nos dijeron que era un error, que ese ya no era pero que se les había olvidado cambiarlo, y nos dieron el nuevo que era bastante más caro. En general la comida normal, creo que la relación calidad precio no es buena.
