Our oil fired boiler was removed and replaced by gas in less than one day. The job was quickly and efficiently carried out and everything was left tidy. Our carpet was covered as appropriate to minimise mess. They responded promptly when the boiler failed to ignite because of a fault with Phoenix Gas equipment and arranged for Phoenix Gas to attend and fix the problem. I would recommend this company.

These people did what they said they would do - very well and very quickly. Was looking for a boiler repair/service on a 10 year old boiler and was told,, very apologetically, that boiler was leaking CO and beyond economic repair. OK - accepted. They then got me a quote for a new boiler, and got it installed the next day - taking account of some very specific requirements. The whole team were interested and engaged in getting me what I needed as quickly as possible. Excellent service.

We use these guys at work and I used them to service my gas boiler at home a couple of months back. Then I needed to shift the location of a radiator and a new radiator installed. I was finding it hard to get a plumber as it was quite a tricky job - the hubby would usually tackle this kind of thing but he knew it was beyond him. Very glad I decided to look at Solv's website and found that they can do fiddly jobs like this. After I left an online inquiry they rang me back and cost was explained and an appointment booked over the phone. They were able to come out sooner than I hoped and the two guys that arrived got straight onto the job and worked away until it was done. Lovely guys, pleasant and polite, gold stars :) The job took a bit longer than expected but it's an old house, there was joists in the way and the pipes were in a very tricky spot under the boiler and floor. We are very happy with the job. You can tell that Solv are a professional company, the website, the vans and uniform. You just know you're in good hands, they know what they're doing and they're going to do a proper job! I would recommend to anyone, and have done. (I don't normally write reviews and they didn't ask for one either)

Solv are professional, reliable, efficient and courteous. Whether it's speaking to the office staff or the plumber on site you'll feel like you're being taken care of. Price and time estimates are laid out plainly up front, Plumbers arrive when they say they will and they do a high quality job. Solv have serviced my boiler for years but I recently had to have a new boiler fitted after my old one abruptly stopped working. The turnaround time for a plumber to come out and check this issue and then to have a replacement installed (especially in the middle of a pandemic!) was exceptional and to top it off the new unit is much more efficient. I highly recommend their services.

Used Solv to complete a gas conversion including relocating a new boiler into a tight roofspace along with additional roof venting. Also added a new radiator in the garage and TRV's to all radiators. Found them up front and genuine from the point of call out and quoting and the engineers on site for 2 days were all excellent. Professional, well trained in what they were doing and made sure everything was working as it should before leaving. Also did a really good job cleaning up as work was completed. Highly recommend.

Had a leak coming from the boiler. Registered the issue (non emergency) online and got a call back & an engineer arrived within 30 minutes. Hayden quickly identified the leak, ordered a new part and had it installed within 30 minutes. The boiler was serviced for an extra 30 minute charge. Service report was sent to email address for future reference. Very affordable price, no hidden charges and extremely professional service. All PPE was worn by the engineer for covid regulations despite 30+ degree heat inside.

We have had a complete new heating system replaced from an oil boiler to a Gas Boiler all new Radiators and all under floor pipe work replace. I was initially undecided whether to pursue the quotation I received from Solv regarding replacement and relocation of my gas boiler as it was £1200 dearer than the next highest quote. It was only after discussing the quotation with Paul Toman of Solv that I realised what was involved and how they would carry out the installation. He came up with good ideas of where to locate the boiler and how they would box it and also provide shelving as an additional feature. The whole operation went very smoothly with the workmen tidying up after each day. The only drawback was that it took place over a week whilst working time was around 2 1/2 to 3 days. I paid 50% once I agreed to accept the quote and the remainder on completion. I would certainly recommend Solv for boiler installation and whilst they may not be the cheapest, I felt the additional cost was worth it.Paul kept me up to date each day on what was happening and that involvement was much appreciated. Solv are authorised suppliers of Worcester Bosch boilers which was what I wanted after carrying out a review of gas boilers.

Got my boiler failed to work on Monday morning, called a couple of boiler service companies but let me down again and again. That’s totally a waste of time. I found Solv group from good map and phoned at about lunch time, the receptionist was very nice and booked the service for me immediately. The engineer came two hours later and fixed my boiler very fast. Very good service, especially when you need to get your problem sorted urgently. Would strongly recommend Solv group.

I've used Solv for a while to service my gas boiler.When it stopped working recently, they gave me clear information about my options (i.e.how much it would cost to repair / replace). Once I decided that it would be better to replace the boiler altogether, Paul patiently talked me through the options and answered all my questions. I recently renovated an old house and Solve took on the task of converting the oil fired central heating system to gas, as well as updating the entire plumbing system throughout the house. Paul Toman was the lead contact and through his management, Solve did a fantastic job!! I've just received World Class Customer Service from Ross after my Combi boiler failed to show any signs of life when I tried to reset it. Ross is obviously one of Solv's Premier League players. Not only did he arrive promptly after my emergency call and work methodically through each possible cause before identifying the precise problem component - the fan transformer - he also answered each of my questions clearly and in detail throughout. If you want world class performance, call Solv.
