Very professional service and installation, I would recommend The Air Conditioning Company to anyone thinking of getting an AC unit in their service area. There was a little confusion around whether the unit could be run off a 13 amp supply, which it could and about what ducting was originally quoted for, but these issues were resolved amicably.

Residential AC install in a London townhouse. Very professional service from a well-established company that also has a decent show-room. Multiple home visits to estimate cost and then survey where to install, with detailed project plan provided before install date set. Various options provided and I was consulted at all stages. Neat install job.

The Air Conditioning Company were excellent to do business with for my fitted unit which works perfectly. They had great customer service and gave me a good indication of the most relevant unit to purchase and they installed it in a way so that it looks great above my TV, perfectly symmetrical. After an initial mix up with them receiving the wrong colour order (I changed my mind on black/white after the initial order so it was an easy mixup) they quickly rectified it and got the correct one sent immediately over. After installing it they realised the power point outside wasn't stable enough and so they also neatly installed a new power point externally to the house in a tidy manner. They also ensured a clean finish (making good where any paint was effected although they were very careful to protect the decorations. All in all I am very happy with the service that I have received so far and would definitely recommend them highly. The air conditioning unit doubles up as a heating unit too so it can add benefit all year round. In the height of summer when I had the unit on it actually managed to cool not just the room it is installed in, but the adjacent room too when I left the door open which was a lovely bonus given the heat wave we had. When I have the budget to do so I would be keen to get air conditioning in the bedroom too now that I have had the taste of it! Highly recommended and worthwile investment if you are looking to improve your comfort.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I have been with this company. I am a domestic user so my knowledge is minimal regarding the 'ins & outs' of air conditioning. I tried some bigger name companies and found them useless and arrogant. We first rented a portable unit from this company and then purchased another new one as well as the ex-rental unit. Throughout the conversations with them they were knowledgeable, professional, patient and polite. Even the lady that answers the phone is extremely well spoken and polite. In particular Peter Papavasiliou and his manager Richard were a pleasure to deal with. We will be requiring permanent fixed air conditioning to be installed in our house later this year and will be using them again. I wish other companies operated like this! I found this company by googling. When I got in contact I was very impressed by both the office and field staff. A lot of care was taken in discussing the unit and during the site survey. We then had a long delay but the minute I had planning permission a team came round, at 8.30 sharp, including an electrician from Manorside Electrical, and by 3.30pm the work was all done and the place left spotless. The men were also polite and considerate. Most importantly the unit is neat, compact, almost silent, and provides heat and cold on demand. I am a very happy customer.

I understand it has to be where it is, but it came as a shock once they’d finished. Please give customers every bit of information to avoid disappointment. Contacted this company after reading the Google reviews. Noise is a prime consideration for us and they suggested we went to their showroom (big!) to test the noise levels of various units. First, they placed a carpet protector on the floor and when the work was completed they left my house spotless. Our old aircon system at home packed up and I contacted a local company who charged us us £125 to visit and told us we needed a new unit and quoted us £2360) A friend who has a service contract with The Air Conditioning Company for their shops asked them to visit us to see if they could help. They came the next day and fixed the unit in less than an hour and regassed it. They charged £95 plus VAT (and my friend paid the bill! Works better and is colder than it ever was. Magic! Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately we had a problem with one of the units but the issue was hastily resolved (engineer/replacement unit). Very little friction. Great customer service.
