Boiler broke down after returning from holiday, and with two babies I was really stressed. Contacted Mat he fitted me in the next morning. Really lovely genuine guy, very upfront and straight forward on the price. He came and got it sorted within an hour and we now have a working boiler again! Highly recommended!

The service from start to finish with Matt was fantastic. He fitted a new boiler within two days of me ringing. The communication was fantastic, the original boiler we was quoted for Matt couldn't get any in stock however he rang and explained the difference between the one he could get and I felt like he was very honest and completely trustworthy. He came to fit it with a great attitude, he was very clean and professional not to mention a lovely guy. I really wouldn't recommend anyone else. Matt even took the time to sit me down and talk me through the boiler, the warranty, and how to set up the hive application on my phone. Matt came to do the plumbing for our kitchen and discuss a few other things. We had very bad water pressure and he recommended and installed a pump which is working really well. We also had a very gurgling sink which the other plumber didn't know how to fix, and he fixed it without problems. The plumbing in the kitchen is also perfect and Matt is overall a great guy. We had a new boiler and new gas piping through out our home after Matt noticed the piping to our meter had been left unsafe. Matt worked so hard to do an amazing job. Matt gave good helpful advice and was thorough in all that he did. Matt is really knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to make sure your system is fixed AND safe. He was determined despite the job being so difficult causing him to be underneath our floorboards for over 6 hours hunting down leaks and dragging our pipe work into the 21st century! Our new Baxi and hive thermostat is so warm and the quality of the workmanship is second to none. Highly, highly recommend.

A week ago I asked A&M Plumbing & Heating Engineer round to try anod fix 4 radiators that were not getting hot.Matt put his brand new boiler flush machine onto the system for about six hours and I could not believe the amount of thick black sludge that came out of the pipes. I believed the last time all the radiators worked was about 5 years ago We only moved in 6 months ago,so to see this result was fabulous.Matt then reconnected the pipes and bled and balanced the full system.We now have every radiator in the house HOT. It was not a straightforward job but with Matt's hard work, expertise and dogged determination the results were incredible. Thank You Matt for a job well done. Having almost given up in our quest to actually get a plumber to pay us a visit to sort our plumbing problems out , we were surprised and delighted to come across a plumber who was both reliable and prompt, having been previously let down several times over the last few weeks. Matt, of A&M Plumbing and Heating, was true to his word, as he arrived on time (in fact, five minutes early!) at the scheduled appointment. We told him our requirements, he gave us good advice, we agreed on a price and a date for work to be carried out. However, on the morning of the expected work he rang us to tell us that he had over estimated the cost and he could do the job for 50 pounds less. What honesty!!! The jobs were completed on time , to the highest standards and we were more than satisfied in every department of his work. We are so delighted that we have come across a local craftsman who has a passion for his trade, is honest and reliable and does a great job. Had a problem with cold radiators and advised the boiler needed replacing. Absolutely spot on. Phoned on Wednesday and new boiler in place on Saturday. Mat is one of life's good guys. Had some weird stuff going on with my boiler and he gave me loads of time on the phone to try and help. Even suggested it was better to go back to manufacturer as it would be cheaper dor me.It turned out it was beyond saving so I asked him to fit a new one. This was dine quickly and efficiently. Couldn't do enough for me. Nobody likes paying out for things like this but working with Mat made things a lot better. He is now my go to gas and plumbing man not just for my house, but for others that we own. 100% reccommend.

I highly recommend Matt. He did a boiler swap for me an old ideal combi boiler to a much quieter greener baxi one, Matt came on the day early, (bonus) and did the swap, very professional service from my first engagement to job completion, lots of communication which I find is a bonus told me what boiler beforehand he would recommend so I could google the reviews etc, the job afterwards was cleaned, everything removed he even swept the courtyard, I have to say the workmanship was finished to a very high standard to quote my wife “wow I can’t believe the difference all those pipes have gone, the cabling is tidy (we had British Gas fit Hive they made a mess, Matt tidied all of this)” I then showed her the flue and overflow which was a mess when we bought the house, she was extremely pleased with the tidying up of the flue and the over flow pipe. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Matt (A & M plumbing) again.

Boiler stopped working so we had no heating or hot water (which is a disaster with very active kids), we called A&M Plumbing and Mat was round that same day and identified the problem within minutes, a new pump was ordered there and then and picked up and installed later that day and our boiler was back up and running again, all for a very reasonable price.
