G. G.Despite gas safe legislation, I can understand why gas users are tempted to do their own minor repairs. Recent lubrication of a gas tap which took absolutely no more than ten minutes, a small amount of specialist graphite grease and a bill for £60 cash has left me wondering. OK a call-out fee is acceptable, although I was prepared to wait for a suitable time slot, but this job was done whilst there was another local job in progress that needed to be left for draining a system. Can't fault the work.
