The place has a very upmarket decor to it. It was not too busy. Initial time to be served was a little slow but delivery time of our order was good. Great quality desserts and presentation. On the higher end of pricing but overall recommended.

First time dining in and that to with the family. 5 stars is an understatement to the customer service and dessert we received. Reena and Saif welcomed us and really made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped foot into Haute Dolci. Their customer service was amazing and really made our experience that extra special. They didn't fail to cater for our individual taste buds. The dessert was fresh and the presentation was on point. The produce was spectacular and we didn't even have to wait long. The decor is amazing and really creates an ambiance. Really family friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again. Thank you to Fahad who ensured our experience was one to remember ♡

Attentive staff, quick and efficient service. I definitely do recommend a private dining boot. Overall good value for money, nice presentation and taste. I like the fact they experiment with menu, every now and than bringing something different. Special perks for key holders is and always was a great idea. I've visited quite a few dessert places in the past and I have to say, though Haute Dolci serves quality, it's nothing outstanding or new. Anyone who knows dessert will notice that this place runs a similar vibe, presentation and price to that of Heavenly Desserts. Now, to be clear, there's nothing wrong with that. Just don't expect to be blown away. In my honest opinion though, I would definitely pick this place over Heavenly Desserts. It's just that extra bit more classy.

Amazing!!!!!! hands down the best desert I had in my life! we visited from London as a family and We all had a try of each others deserts and it was hard to pick a winner as they were all so good!!!!!! Amazing stylish desert restaurant with amazing and friendly customer service. Manager was very smiley and helpful and involved with all customers in the shop. Very good desserts, we ordered cookie dough as well as brownies. Brownies can be very sweet and overly chocolatey. You can switch out the cookie dough ice cream to your preferred flavour and I personally like the coconut, as well as cinnamon ice cream here. Staff are friendly but service is slowish, despite the restaurant not being very busy. Took about half an hour to get our orders.

We had heard wonderful things about Haute Dolci and had to go check it out! We had a delayed start to our experience as we had to wait for seating (it was super packed) and unfortunately this did impact the service times too. However, the decor and atmosphere was everything we had heard of and more! The aesthetics were very pleasing - stunning and classy with the rounded alcoves. We lucked out in managing to get a spot in an alcove so it felt more intimate. We ordered a trio of desserts and every morsel was as decadent as the last. The Nutella crepe was delicious, not too sweet and the sprinkling of hazelnuts was exactly needed for added texture. The cookie dough was very well balanced as well as a good portion - could possibly have shared it but worth having to yourself too. The choux bun looked great and the texture from the sprinkling of nuts was perfect but overall, it was a little dense. Had an amazing experience! Me and my companions were hosted by Neelam and she was an absolute star. I had come up from London to see my friends and I couldn't have had a better end to the day. Although the place looks trendy and modern its good value for money with most desserts ranging from 6£ to 8£. Excellent service. Walked in, the place was welcoming I decor, atmosphere & by staff. We were a party of 13, decide to grab dessert after our meal. We waited a few minutes and then were directed upstairs in to the private function room. It catered just about for us, we needed extra seating which was sorted in forms of stools. The gentleman who served us was very charming, informative & gave recommendations. I ordered a nicka blocka glory. We had teas, coffees, cakes, ice creams, waffles and crepes. We didn't wait too long for our order I'd say 10 to 15. The food came all together. An error which was retrified straight away when bought to their attention. English tea was not given but jasmine tea, easily and quickly changed. We were checked upon but left to enjoy our desserts. The nicka bloka glory was yummy. No one complained about their desert all were enjoying it. We waited to make payment but noone came so we all went downstairs to the cashier to pay. Individual payments were accepted even though they said a group whole amount would be accepted. The gentleman who served us dealt with payment and was very quick and efficient. Wish I could remember his name. Overall a very enjoyable experience, will return for more delights. Was a great end to our evening.

I collected my order to takeaway and was looked after by Neelam at the counter. She was so lovely and made sure everything was fresh. The packaging was immaculate and the taste was amazing. I loved the hot chocolate and the red velvet was different to a traditional red velvet but surprisingly lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Cane here to finish off my mums birthday. Staff were super nice, and sang happy birthday (with a plate of free brownies). Went to this after a night out looking for desert. Though we waited 20mins...the service was great but the food was even better. Managed to get great seating and then when the food arrived, it was well presented, came fairly quickly and tasted great. It has become one of my favourite places to go... We had the loveliest experience last week! We tried Haute Dolci out for the first time on a whim & honestly it wasn't a mistake. Neelam and Zahid were so hospitable & attentive. They really went out of their way to make our experience a special one. We loved it so much that we have already made several bookings since! The chocolate shots are to die for! Not only were the desserts impressive but also the decor; so beautiful! Great dessert place for a date night, friends night out or with the family!

I visited here for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised! From the decor and atmosphere, to the friendly staff and amazing food! I can not think of one fault! I ordered a cookie dough and I was so impressed on how scrumptious it was! I'm usually a "pizza hut cookie dough" type of person but this was on par with that, if not better!!

I attended today with my daughter & we were greeted by Neelam who had a huge welcoming smile. As soon as you step into the door you are made to feel welcomed. This is not our first visit & have been many times before & today attended Star City only for dessert. Lovely desserts and customer service once you are sat down was really good. 4 stars because we queued for the best part of an hour and saw a good few people sat down before us (same number of people than us). It seemed like they were known to management or something, which some would argue is fair however to see it in front of your face whilst waiting so long is annoying.

Had a forest fruit mocktail and a custom "Made By You" Belgian waffle and my experience was exactly what a dessert place should be. Interior was elegant, classy and the dessert itself was devine. The mocktail was even better. Refreshing and filled with fruit. Everything laid out as if it were a piece of art. As far as service goes everything from the 20ish minute wait in the line to the ordering of the food, service was easy and the staff were extremely helpful. Can't really fault this place except the wait but that is something they can't control. Overall excellent place for a classy evening without breaking your pocket.

This has become my new favourite dessert venue in Birmingham. Iv been a good few times now 🤤 Its always nice to see the desserts being made with fresh ingredients right in front of you whilst you wait. **They are currently taking part in the #eatouttohelpout scheme. So take a trip and enjoy the 50% off the bill. Bonus Ayyyy Service was fab, although there was a mix up with the bill, but that got rectified very promptly! I personally thought the tables where close together but I that has been rectified now. The small booths hold 3-6 ppl and upstairs have 3 bigger booths made for a more intimate setting. The private dining room caters for 12 ppl and overlooks the stunning restaurant on the ground floor. Being a key holder I had 10% off the bill🗝 {Inquire directly to the Venue about specific discounts} Students and NHS staff also receive 10% off.

The decor is nice and it is bright and clean inside. We ordered an oreo cheesecake and a milk chocolate cookie dough. The cookie dough was a disappointment, it was very raw in the middle. When you go there for 50% off they will try to mug you off by saying. There's a package, with a teaser, any dessert and any drink. The teaser is either chocolate on a glass or leftover dessert. The dessert and drink is normal. However this is where they catch you out, you pay £7 for all that which seem like a bargain but it's not because the teaser is rubbish and you won't be able to finish your dessert or drink which includes milkshake. When I ordered I asked for my drink in a takeout box but that never happened it comes in the glass. When you later ask them to put take it out you see how much they actually give you compared to a takeout bottle. This is the worst haute dolci from the franchises, however the service, waiters etc are all very nice.

If u don't have an iPhone ur stranded... I have the huwaei p30 pro and couldn't get the menu up... The desserts were on point.. Staff on point and the place was nice and clean... Went with my kids and the staff seem young, but were very caring towards the little ones.. Which helps.. Didn't feel judged when they did get a little loud.

Absolutely enjoyed my time at this place, came the next week after its grand opening, and everything was absolutely stunning. Visually it was amazing, from the details of the ceiling with chocolate drips to the real roses as decor on the tables. A lot of thought has gone into the aesthetics of this place. My experience here was really nice though some staff seemed to lack experience, and was unsure whether they had the macarons i wanted also if there was any strawberry cheesecake (there wasn’t any when i was there btw). However, from what I saw the place seemed to favour aesthetics over practicality, for example the mocha that I was served was dripping in chocolate at the bottom. It was hard to not get any chocolate on yourself or even hold the mug because of the mess. But other than that its a very nice place for a date or a fancy get together, the prices are also quite reasonable and I did not expect to pay so less in comparison to other dessert places. But I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a very exclusive service.

The staff even allocated a space for us to queue inside even though it was so busy. This was a real relief as we have a young family. Thank you very much for your friendly professional courtesy. The restaurant was clean, well stocked organised and COVID aware. Excellent menu, professional, delicious and sensible price. Very good decor and food is very nice however quite pricey. Staff are polite and well mannered except for the two older women who are normally dressed formally and in heels and work towards the front. Whenever I go Dolci there is always one them working, I find that they are very rude, arrogant and prestige. It feels like they look down everyone and do not really do anything except for boss the waiters around and just stand around. Once I was told by one of them I need to pay when I was leaving even though I had already paid.

So I booked the private dining room at HD Star city to host my best friends baby shower. I was so stressed when booking as my friend and I literally had a week to pull it off. The manager Neelam was AN ABSOLUTE GOD SEND.. from the moment we sat down to discuss options she just took alllll the stress off our shoulders (and basically put it on her own lol). We changed the date TWICE due to women being women and is being so hard to get everyone together, Neelam accommodated repeatedly (we’re so sorry for being annoying lol). The set menu thing was such a good price and so worth it. On the day we got there half hour early to set up balloons and decor and bless Neelam she even helped up with this as did some of the staff. We then ended up eating at Nando’s first a few doors down and got late but Neelam set up a WhatsApp chat so I can let her know when we’re Walking up so we can surprise our friend etc. It was just such a personalised service from start to finish. The actual baby shower ran over an hour and they didn’t once tell us to leave, in fact the waitress Shumi was so lovely and just popped in here and there to check we’re ok and get us whatever we needed and even took some cute pics for us and just made the event so much more fun. Thank you Neelam and Shumi for just making the event such a success and easy and enjoyable. You guys are so kind and lovely, you went over and beyond and we will definitely be returning purely because of the service and hospitality we received. ❤️

Was in Birmingham for a couple days with the family. Came with a big group of family, with young children too. Staff gave us a spacious booth. One of the best evenings out as staff was so quick and friendly with service. The lovely Neelam came to check on us multiple times at our table. We came with kids also so it was lovely to get patience from the staff. When we was ordering the food the gentleman was very kind and helpful. He explained to us certain desserts that we didn’t understand. Very quick and polite. Desserts came so quickly and beautifully presented too. Neelam came again and made sure we was getting everything we ordered. One of the best evenings out, THANKYOU SO SO MUCH👏🏾

Came in an hour before close time and the food was delicious as expected of a haute dolci. The only criticism that I have is that there was no allergy menu, that could easily be accessed online nor was a physical copy available when I asked. However this criticism is quickly addressed as the manager and staff were impeccable when assisting with the allergens and were able to point me in the direction of foods which I could safely eat.

What a true welcomed experience. As soon as we walked in the door our push chair was taken care of and a lovely gentlemen called "Zaig" placed us immediately at a table. Once we sat down our child started crying, before we could even get the backpack ready, Zaig had already responded with a portion of ice cream which settled him immediately. Update: Following a previous bad experience, I would like to update this as management were kind enough to invite me back for dessert and drinks for 2 on the house. This time around the service was fantastic. Neelam and Zahid were very inviting and their customer service was A class not just towards us but everyone dining around us. The American waffles were by far the best I have had as they were light and fluffy and not too much chocolate. My partner was likewise impressed with his double choc cookie dough which is a must for chocolate lovers. All in all it was a lovely evening and I'd like to thank management for giving us a chance to try dining in again and we will definitely be back again soon!

So decided to see what everyone was raving about on social media. The decor was nice and despite the weather being nice, we were seated quite quickly. There were 8 of us so we could all fit into one of the booths. Now the menu is only accessible by scanning a 3d barcode via your phone - as we had quite a few children in the group we then had to pass our phones around to the children. I asked the waiter if there was an "OLD SCHOOL MENU" to which he replied there wasn't. He explained that the online menu is reflective of what they have available as some of the ingredients may not be available for the other items. Given that we arrived there approx. 3pm and they have the rest of the evening to get through, this is not very good. You would expect that they would ensure that they have a good supply of all ingredients. Anyway we managed to order our desserts and they tasted great.

But for a quick coffee with friends with out any high expectations its totally fine. But one thing I noticed is when the guys behind the counter are making desert they really don't care about what the food touches and just want dish out food fast. I visited Haute Dolci on my travel to England. It was me and my friend desperately trying to find a nice place to eat after having a bad experience during lunch. This place was a savior. We had the Bruma finest and ‘Give it to me’ dish. Both of them were equally tasteful, good quantity and full of flavour. The staff was extremely helpful and patient to explain us the menu, especially ‘Jazz’ who was serving our table. He explained to us the menu, had good knowledge of the ingredients, took care of our allergied and food preferences. He also gave us some tips on things to do in Birmingham. We stayed there for more than 2 hours and had some desserts. Overall a delightful experience, would love to come back again just because of the excellent customer service by Jazz.

The best dessert in town . I have lived in Birmingham for the last 2 years, I’ve always had a sweet tooth and during this time explored many dessert parlours. Previously my favourite place was Picasso which I still love, but since I visited Haute Dolce there was no turning back. Initially the first few visits (as the place was newly opened) was very busy. Thus the waiting time was understandably longer, but the quality food and excellent service made up for that. I regularly go now and even get take away dessert, the packaging is great the waffles stay warm and ice cream does not melt. I would highly recommend Haute Dolce. Hands down the best dessert place in Birmingham. (My favourite I’m having what she’s having ! )

Honestly coming here I thought it was just all focused on the interior and design so I didnt expect much from the desserts. I was so wrong. So many dessert parlours focus on the design and presentation of the menu rather than quality of taste; but here I couldnt fault the taste. Lattes are amazing their coffee milkshakes great! I'm not even a big fan of coffee but loved the taste! Cakes and desserts so rich and tasteful and there chocolate shots with teasers are yum. This place is known for its interior and design for a classy and elegent twist and my expectations were exceeded. The staff were amazing especially our waitress Leah. I have dyslexia and something on the menu was just so confusing she repeated herself and explained 5x and I was still baffled but she was so patient and kind and sat next to me and explained it so calmly until I understood. My family were also stunned as theyd gotten so fustrated with me but noticed she showed great compassion and kindness. The prices are also decent too - not overpriced or anything at all. ONLY thing I would say is to have name tags on staff maybe? As we had to ask what our waitresses name was so we knew who to thank at the end. All in all this is a perfect fancy reasonably priced dessert place with amazing staff.

It moght have been due to the place being too busy... The drinks were confusing, considering the price of drinks £4.50 we thought it was freshly squeesed but for instance an orange and mango drink was just a fizzy drink with an added one piece of mango and one piece of orange!

Went here for the first time. The food was delicious but the customer service was terrible. Whilst the waiters and servers where very polite etc... Unfortunately everything was coas and unorganized. My friend and I waited 20 mins to be seated (understandable when there is no table available). We required a table for two one was available and clean since we got into the restaurant but we patiently waited assuming that the table may have been reserved or left for some reason or another. Then another set of dinners arrived requested a table for two and where sat down immediately and it was obvious that they hadn't reserved the table not where they a "key holder". This was very frustrating but as my friend was also experiencing this dessert restaurant for the first time I didn't wish to spoil the moment for her or say anything. Then we sat down to eat placed our orders. The food arrived extremely late. My friends food was lovely and hot my food the custard and the fudge cake which is meant to be hot was warm but verging onto cold. But it was impossible to get ant waiters attention as they everything was so caotic. I also ordered a simple glass of tap water which arrived AFTER I finished my food at the end of my meal. Whilst eating my friend and I witnessed the following; A table of 5 (sat close to us so we could clearly her them btw) all 5 of them ordered desserts only 3 out of 5 desserts arrvied. They managed to ask the waiter for the other desserts and someone who looked like the manager or more senior member of staff which never arrived even when the others finished their meal so they got up and paid for 3 desserts so basically two people left without desserts. We has seen several people getting up to get there own water. Even witnessed one women out if a table of 10 not given her dessert which could be seen sitting on the counter for 10mins so she literally got up and picked it up herself. Witnessed customer pay for their bill then a completely different waiter go to get the bill paid for from the same table again and looking confused and asking them several times are they sure they paid the bill. I don't know what to make of this place tbf. Atmosphere is stunning... Dessert well my friends was lovely mine would have been delicious if the hot fudge and custard was actually hot, she said it was the best cookie dough she ever had. But the service was terrible.

Well well well where do I start from with Hourti dolce I am seriously lost for words. Firstly I only go to Star City for one reason Nando's and after today that has changed. I am not very fond off star city. The venue to me is a place for the rif raf of alum rock pass their time. I avoid the place to be honest they should rename it Sin city. Houlti dolce. Well that on the other had is a completely different. It's amazing from when you walk in to when you are seated Its a phenomenal experience. A experience that I feel everyone should part take in at least once. Everyone knows from my previous reviews I am very hard to please and from being in the catering industry for over 28 years I've seen it all. Therefore for me to give a 5 star rating you have to meet a very high threshold. I say it how it is when I review a place and am very Frank about every place I review. As you walk inside even when it was busy a middle age female made eye contact even though she was busy with another customers. So there was acknowledgment of me entering the establishment. The wait for about 10 mins and this for a weekday is rather long. It was busy and later on that night I will know why. Each member off staff is dressed very well and presenting with a smile. The manager who goes by the name Fahad is a very polite well mannered gentleman. Well experienced with the customer service side. Showed ud to the seat. After seating us the manager told us someone will be with us shortly. The menu itself is made out if leather and the pages are above 500gsm paper quality is amazing. But what's inside the menus is wonderfully it's a masterpiece in itself. Have not read a better menu than this. Within minutes we were greeted by a young lady who went through the menus with us and took our order after our order was taken and we were left to admire the wonderfull surrounds. This place is ravishing has the most amazing decor alot off thought has gone into making it look how it does. When you sit upstairs and look through the glass wall downstairs its mindblowing and I ask myself is this establishment really in Star city birmingam. Or am i in The Ritz? Peggy Parson or EL&N cafe all 3 of which are situated in the borough if Chelsea and Kensington. Yes I am comparing this establishment with the like iff these fine establishments located in the heart of london city. This is the level of detail that has gone into the making if houte dolci. And it has excelled beyond my expectations. You have drops off chocolate falling from the ceiling. The carpet that I walked on felt as though I was was walking on clouds. The decor is amazing definitely better then all 3 off the south based establishments. My waffle was cooked to perfection you could see the golden colour crispy on the outside nice and soft on the inside you could smell the freshness in the fruits smelt like they were picked in the morning. The ice cream was amazing melting in my mouth grade A ice cream! Half way through the young lady asked us if we were ok and after we were finished she also asked if everything was ok and how our experience was. This was done even though she was busy rushing off her feet attending to other customers. Customer service to a top level. This is a vital part in any establishment you can have the best food but if it is throwing to you on the table. And as soon as you eat the bill is presented to you it's not very nice. AS we paid the price which was reasonable not so highly for what you get however people from this locality do not like to pay anything. Sadly people from this locality will not appreciate this place. If you are from out off Birmingham please try this place out. It's a phenomenal experience it's a experience no other dessert place will give you. Believe me I am very hard to please. If there was awards like the national curry awards this establishment would be my nomination. I think the desert industry should have a national dessert awards as this industry is excelling drastically. I would recommend you to try this place as the quality thats going into making
