Pretty good waffles. As you'd hope for somewhere called The Waffle Project. I had to substitute an ice cream on the menu as they'd replaced it with something else, but other than that, all good.

As always.....really friendly staff who are happy to help with dessert recommendations. Dont worry if your order takes a little long as each waffle is freshly made!! A great selection of ice creams, sauces, toppings etc. Always handy that you can make phone orders too.

Best waffles, pancakes, milkshakes, crepes and any other dessert you can think of in Birmingham. Friendly and helpful staff. Genuine people. Also owned by good people, heard they donate desserts to a local mosque for Iftar. They won’t tell you that so I wanted to highlight it. Check them out.

Okay so I read all the reviews of The Waffle Project Hall Green and they were high or low. Well I believe you should try something yourself before judging so we went on 17th October 2020. There were two ladies serving, both polite and friendly. Very apologetic if something like a sauce was out of stock but they still had a huge variety. Time to be served was excellent and I didn't need to remind them even once. Fairly busy with some other customers. Seating was brilliant, quiet, cosy and private corners that I like. So what was the food like? We ordered cookie dough, Belgian waffles and American waffles each with different toppings, sauces and ice-creams. The food was brilliant. I try a lot of desserts in different places so I know what's good and this was tasty with really good sized portions of everything and not expensive at all. Basically, I will be going back definitely. Both of my teenage sons enjoyed it too. The ladies were lovely and the hygiene was good. So... read reviews for sure but don't make your decision until you try it yourself. I shall be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you ladies on that shift. Whoever you are 😊

Just wanted to leave a quick review and say that the Belgian waffle I ordered today was delicious and cooked perfectly. The two young girls working on the till were extremely courteous, helpful and polite, which only added to my experience. Overall, a great atmosphere, great food and great staff. Would definitely recommend to all.

Fun idea for a restaurant. Pop in pick a base usually go for the American waffle pick some toppings and then take a seat. Service is very quick and the food is often delicious. Only issues are location isn't great for parking, although if you park at the station it's only a brisk walk with you probably should partake in considering the amount of calories you're probably about to consume. Only issues are occasionally your tables aren't clean however I'm sure upon request they would sort that out for you.

Loved everything about the place, having read a few of the negative reviews on here I thought it was only right that I mentioned the excellent service and even better desserts we had... I think having sat in and experienced the service and watched others enjoy their experience as much as me leads mentor me to believe the negative reviews on here are just other competitors trying to bad mouth a very good business. attended a couple of hours ago today and was amazed by the food and the customer service! the small girl at the till greeted me with a warm smile and ensured my order was provided to me at the best quality, the whole time with a smile on her face! food was delicious and the customer service today was much better to that of times i have visited previously. will definitely come back.

Decided to take my nephew to The Waffle Project having been recommended a few times, when we arrived place was busy but has a cool atmosphere with an awesome illuminated sign oh and the lovely pungent aroma of waffles hits the senses soon as you walk in!! I decide to order The full waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream and chocolate sauce & my nephew had the vanilla sundae with choc chip & chocolate sauce. You get option of toppings love the menu very easy and straight forward to follow, can’t remember the name of the lovely chap on the counter great service acknowledges the customer’s will definatly be back with the kids!!!

Absolutely brilliant dessert place. Extremely happy with the service and food. Order was promptly taken and food was delivered to the table at a good pace. I actually brought new clients as a first meeting and were very happy with the service also. A special mention to the manager who took his time out to have a chat with us and ask us how the food was. Top man. I would strongly recommend this place. Cant wait to go again.

I was recommended to this place, however the recommendation and Google reviews fell short. In all honesty I would give 2.5 stars but not possible. The menu selection was great and clear. I'm not sure about the high seats but the wobbly table was annoying. We chose to eat in but my waffle came in a box (they said it would take minutes to make but was served within minutes) and the waffle was cold. I don't like the idea of eating a desert in a box with plastic fork and knife, it didn't help the waffle experience. The waffle itself was ok. The single scoop of ice cream was ok too. It's not a place I must come to again when I visit Birmingham. Slightly disappointed to end a great evening with a desert.

Wow what can one say. Ive tried so many different dessert places but only the waffle project allows you to customise your dessert. Ive gone through 4 loyalty cards so far, probably should spend that time in the gym but hey ho..... Definitely a must try the hall green one in particular.
